As the great saying goes, it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. So I choose have it and lose it the next day. Fight a Ninja? or Fight a horde of Zombies?

I meant new rap groups. I know several Hair Metal bands. I'm just wondering what rappers he means when comparing them to glam rockers. New rap is a very broad term.

I think I understand where you're coming from, but can you give me a few examples of what you mean? There are a few groups I have in mind, but I still think I can defend a couple of them.

I claim Epsilon's drawing.

I'll be done ASAP. Maybe a little coloring. This is probably the best attempt I've done so far. Atleast the most effort. I like ya, Eps. This is a real departure from my normal style. I hope it's alright looking. Now here you guys go. Your gonna have fun on this one. It'd probably help to actually read the rules and guides posted in both the Inn and Square. Also, this kind of thread is supposed to be posted at the Underground. PM me if you want further help, but if you know how to read, then you should be able to clear it up for yourself. Just look at the other, more successful RPs for ideas on how to do it well. I'll get a Mod to shut this down now. - The Boss

I'm sure most of you know by now that I'm a heterosexual male. Point, I've never used a "cute anime girl" as my avatar on any site ever. Even though my current set is a woman, it's The Boss from the Metal Gear Solid, who is very, very, very, very far from being cute... or even that attractive. Before now I've never even used a woman in my sets. There's one gender role stereotype I don't follow. Second. Well at one point long ago I did use noobish grammar, but never 133t speak. That emproved greatly upon my second run on the OBs. Now I never make that mistake. Note, this was three years ago. So really, I never do and never have followed the general gender role 'rules' of the anime message board and my gender has never been mistaken. So... yeah.

Here's some original characters I'm thinking of messing with. Been a long while since I colored. But I think it turned out alright.

Wow, han-ki-tae. You really nailed his face. I love it. Also, I gotta thank you for the colored version of The Swordsman. I never actually envisioned him with those colors, actually. Heh. A nice spin on things, but I suppose that's what this thread is all about. I originally had him with blue-white-black camo pants and a dirty white jacket (similar to that of Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho during the Dark Tournament) and with brown hair. Never the less, I love it.

I never eally saw the logic in the dating system or even the actual number of 666. Note: The mark of the beast was concieved waaaaay before the actual number six took on the version we have today. I do believe they used roman numerals back in then, or probably even something more primitive. It just looksl ike a 666. Second Note: Okay. Say the world is supposed to end on 6-6-06... hrm. Let's see. 1906? 1806? 1706? Why didn't the world end on those years? All this 666 stuff came about, again, in a time when 6 wasn't even used as a number, and two, during a time when the world's dating system wasn't based on our current months, or timeline. Sooo.... in the end it really doesn't make any sense to me. People need to calm down and not think about it so much.... or think about it more than they actually have. Heh. It's possible maybe the actual number of triple six or six hundred and sixty six is evil. But the number as symbolized as we have has nothing to do with it and the dating system of our modern world isn't the same as the days when they actually wrote all this... So... yeah.

I claim the Plague Doc by GTK. I'll have that up by tomorrow.

One hour Later: I actually did a combination of all three images combined. I added the scarring and damaged eye of the second character. I wasn't sure what was being held in his hand, so I just placed the left hand behind the back and the other holding the skull from the first pic. Hope I did alright. Now for my image: Up close: This is an original character from the Star Wars universe. He is a rogue Sith warrior who wishes only for constant battle. He is terribly scarred all over his body, and is blind in his right eye. He uses two red light sabers and wears only his cloak, no shirt, and pants. His hair is just long and pushed back. That's about it. Haha. Have fun.

I think it's pretty clear by now. Racism blows... I don't really think it's just white's againt everyone in racism either. There is, sadly, racial tention between every race. Blacks against Whites, Asian against Asians, Latinos against Blacks, Indians against Whites. I suppose it's just engrained in our psyche to a certain extent. I really don't think it's just a 'race' issue either. Honestly, it's more about cultural differences than anything in my eyes. You hear about Chinese and Koreans hating Japanese. Heterosexuals hating homosexuals. African tribes warring with one another. Brits hating Germans. French hating Americans. Catch the drift? The color of one's skin is just one more difference that ignorant minded people hold against others. Hell, I'm Greek. But everytime I walk through a predominatly Black neighbourhood, it's 'white boy'. Being a fan of hip hop and breakdancing, however, makes me a 'wigger' in the eyes of other white people. Playing video games and reading comics make me a 'nerd' in the eyes of the 'jocks'. Guess how much I care about these insults? Not a damn. Hell, I could hold a grudge against anybody of Turkish or otherwise Ottoman decent for oppressing my people's culture for generations. But I don't. You just have to put yourself above ignorance and hatred. I'm not saying one should ignore any racial hatred they encounter, but just don't condone it. Don't allow people to get a rise out of you. Show them that you don't care, because you know who's right and you know who's the ignorant person in the equation. But that's me. By the way, I live in the American South, so I have to put up with quite a bit of racism from all sides... Don't much care for it. Heh.

I'm an optimist and pseudo-relegious. I'm classified as Christian, and those beliefs are my own predominatly, though those beliefs are personified in several other world relegions. Also, it's possible for me to see guidance in other relegions. But that's not the point. Being as I am, I believe in an afterlife for the human soul. I just don't think our mind's and spirit's would just cease to be in death. Otherwise, there wouldn't be much logic in being a creative and artistic person. I mean, I believe if we didn't have souls, then we wouldn't have found reasons as a species to evolve our minds past basic survival. There wouldn't really be much purpose to it. So I believe in a heaven more than anything. If there isn't then there atleast has to be something in store for the human soul after our short lives are over. Maybe heaven, maybe purgetory, maybe reincarnation, maybe hell... but there's gotta be something there on the other end of life. Atleast, that's how I feel.

X-Men RPG #2 For me. Haha. Cool Idea, though. Name: Lee Jung Kim Codename: Rage Age: 19 Gender: Male Nationality: Korean-American Appearance: Rage Minus the dog tags and bar code. Personality: Normally, Lee is a humourous young man. Very charismatic, he tries to take the current situations at hand lightly and tries to uplift the down and out spirits of his comrades. He has an optimistic outlook on life and wishes for the world to grow better while he is still alive and he plans to give every ounce of himself to make these changes happen. It is in the use of these abilities that Lee becomes Rage, a near unstoppable berserker who?s feral rage is comparable to that of a ravenous tiger. During this state, he is near unreachable by mental persuasion, and it usually takes an outside influence or strong emotional figure to calm him down. Superhuman Ability/Mutant Power: Lee?s body contains two inner mutations that do two things. One, his body produces fifty times the regular amount of adrenaline than that of a normal human. The release of this massive amount of adrenaline is something Lee is in complete control of, which allows him to tap into super human strength and speed at any moment. This release of adrenaline, however, affects him negatively both physically and mentally. It sends him into a blind rage upon release and also causes his body temperature to raise towards dangerous heights. Due to this, Lee?s sweat steams off his body and his skin turns a deep red. This gives Lee a frightening outward appearance and turns him into a near monster. Secondly, Lee has a hyper-active metabolism, which causes his body to naturally transfer most nutrients and materials consumed into lean muscle, causing him to naturally be a fine physical specimen and giving him a slightly faster physical speed than most humans. Lee?s is also third degree black belt in the Korean martial arts of both Hap Ki Do and Tae Kwan Do. He was trained by his father, who took a job as a martial arts instructor upon reaching America while Lee was still a toddler. His father bestowed Lee all his martial knowledge and made him his own assistant instructor up until the mutant wars began. One Significant Event: (will finish later.) (I was orignally gonna sign up as Gambit, but I ddin't want to mess up a character whom I don't know a whole lot about.) ((Please inform me if there are any changes needed thus far. I will complete this at a later time.))

I actually really like the second and third ideas. I'm really into the both ideas presented. I'm not a big fan of Dr. Who or sci-fi. But I'm all for comedy and the supernatural. I'm a huge fan of Shaun of the Dead and Ghost Busters and I'll help ya through any plotting problems you may have. I'd really like to be a part of either of those RPs if you go through with them.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm a huge fan of the UFC or Ultimate Fighting Championships. The whole thing is a mixed martial arts fighting circuit held within an octagonal cage. It's extremely popular in America, Britain, and Japan. They do have a pretty loose rules-set which has evolved over the years, but it gives ALOT of freedom to the actual fighters. For me, it's probably one of the most exciting sports ever. Very fun to watch and you really start to care about your favorite fighters, whom range from Muay Thai standing strikers to Olympic wrestlers to Jiu Jitsu masters. The men who compete are possibly the most well-rounded athletes in the world, and if you've ever faught or sparred, you'd know fighting is one of the most physically exhausting activites an individual can participate in. The UFC can be viewed via Pay-Per-View, but I usually catch it on Spike TV along with it's branching show, "The Ultimate Fighter" which is a reality show giving young MMA fighters a shot at a UFC contract as they are coached by actual UFC champions. Are there any fans here on the OBs of this sport? Any favorite fighters? Or just general interest?

My answer was Sean Carter better known as Jay-Z. The internationally known rapper, record mogul, and CEO of Def Jam Records. "My Name is HOV!" is a line from one of his songs. Also, HOV or HOVA is one of his aliases.

To bluemarble: You gotta be the first to claim some one else's character, then redraw their character in your own style. Once you post your re-vamp of their character, you post your own for submission. Check the former posts if it is unclear. Delta: I can't wait to see what you've got in store for 'em. Ezekiel: Why, thank you.

I got Ezekiel's. I'll be on it tonight, up by tomorrow. BTW- I love your work on my character, han-ki-tae. Far less scarred I noticed. Very clean, very proffesional. Edit: Original Baeybel And My Version: That took me about an hour. I was going to color it, but I don't have the materials available. Hope you enjoy. And for my original piece: That's a straight jacket he is wearing. He is normally psychotic when he is unshackeled. Those are weights chained together on his legs. So he is fully restrained. He has long black hair. Other than that, go crazy. He can go unshackeled or chained up. Either calm or flippin' out. P.S.- Please forgive the size, but this piece really is intended to be viewed at a much smaller size.

Many thanks. I'll definetly give my best. If there are orginization issues, then why not do something similar to "The Legionarres" by seperating threads for different 'sectors' of Paris2 or seperate the characters by country of origin? Just a suggestion. Two Questions. Are we all in Paris2? Or are we in our individual countries of origin at th start? Could I add thermal sensory to my character's powers, seeing as how it is very slight, but also common in all snakes?

Well... The dead line's up. So if anyone wants to take a crack at mine, feel free. I really don't want this thread to die right after my first entry. So... yeah.

Here's my pick up line: "Hi, there. My name's Mike. What's yours?" Let conversation ensue. Other good ones: "I find the most erotic part of a woman to be the boobies..." Thank you, Zap Brannigan. "Hey baby, is it hot in here or is it just you?" "Hey, why don't you give me your number in case something happens to my wife." Thank you, Vince Vaughn. "I lost my phone number, can I have yours?"
