Actually, I like the choices Jade Empire gives you in morale descesions. If you want to be a good guy, your descesions usually need to be selfless and more just, with less regard for yourself. Example: will you accept this reward for your troubles? If not, then you are being selfless, equalling a good guy point. But if you want to be a bad guy, then your descesions will be selfish, or intidimidating. Example: "Yeah, I'll get you the medecine, if you pay me." Then you get the cash and let the person die, equaling a bad guy point. Or you can let the guy live, and just get less bad guy points. I mean, yeah, you can come off as an *** at times. But more often than not, you have more choices to make than those few.

It usually depends on the universe and what mood I'm in when it comes to my morality in games. When I was going through Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the first thing I made sure of was that I was on the Dark Side. I robbed, lied, and murdered my way to becoming a Sith Lord, and it felt oh so good. Then I turned around to play another Bioware game, Jade Empire, and yeah, I wanted to be the benevolent butt kicker good guy. But then I turned around and played True Crime: Streets of L.A. and all I wanted to do is run around on the streets, shooting pedestrians (preferably senior citizens). After that, I was an honorable warrior under the flag of Wu in Dynasty Warriors 5. It just all depends. In videogames, all that matters is having fun to me. And if that fun envolves head shotting Granny or slicing through a crowd of evil peons, either way it doesn't matter. Yeah, sometimes I felt like a douche in KOTOR, and yeah sometimes I felt like a good two shoes in Empire, when I wanted to insult some dumby asking me stupid questions. It all depends. Oh, and by the way. Shooting the limbs off of terrorists in Soldier of Fortune does not make me a psycho. You do it and tell me it's not the most fun you've ever had in your whole existance.

I added onto my sign up for Lord Orlok with an "Other" section. I do hope it does not interrupt or disturb the story flow, I just thought it would be an interesting twist to add to the story. (Maybe his current wife his killed or kidnapped maybe.) Anyways, it's up there. - Mugen

Anime Which Toonami Anime Cartoon Is Your Fave?

I'm not saying the show was horrible, I'm just saying it didn't belong on Toonami. And believe me, I would never insult Mr. Tartakovsky. His work on Samurai Jack made me fall deeply in love with him, and before that, we had the master peice that was Dexter's Laboratory. Now for those who think that Naruto was butchered, you should stifle yourselves and see just how close it is to the original work. The only thing they have edited out is the curse words and thats about it. They kept all the original terminology and everything (that is for the American translation of the Manga). But I do have a bone to pick with Naruto's voice actor. As I have said before, he sounds like a little girl with larangitice (sp?). But other than that, I like all the voice talent for the show. That is until we get to the Chuunin exams. Lets see how they handle Rock Lee... BTW- You shouldn't double post. -

What did they do to the professor?! Dear god... IGPX is a suprisingly good show, seeing as how it was supposed to be a Toonami original series, the show totally took me off guard. The animation, plot, and characters are all great. But then again, the whole production of the series was under studio I.G., the same people behind Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. and the 2nd Gig. So, great animation and character design was to be expected. Also, the 3-D animation used in S.A.C. is prevalent in IGPX. The races held are very well animated and blend naturally into the show's art style, without looking out of place *cough*Zoids*cough*. IGPX is a very promising show, so far. -

The seventh volume of Naruto hit our shores about two months ago. And believe me, we're way behind. In Japan, their hitting around Vol. 30 I believe. Oh, and how sweet it is. I know GX doesn't air on Toonami. It was just a figure of speech you could say. And you know its not but a matter of time before that becomes a reality. If Toonami wanted to regain my respect, it'd stop showing Hot Wheels movies and retarded programming. If they brought back Tenchi, Outlaw Star, and got some good shows, then I would watch it again. I would gladly rewatch any series they played save Dragon Ball Z and the dreadful era of the Powerpuff Girl *shudder*. Hell, I'd watch G Gundam again, if it came to that. I hope that some day soon they wise up and get back to what they do best, instead of being a sponsor whore. I mean honestly... Hot Wheels movie... *sigh*. -
I was wondering if anyone could wip me up an avatar and banner set using this pic Mugen. The only specification I want is the avatar to show only his head and face, and the banner to show his face and hands, or if that is not possible, just his hands. Thats about it. Thank you in advance.

I was wondering if any one here could wip me up a banner/avatar set out of this pic right here: Mugen I don't want any text or anything. Just on my avatar, I only want his head and face, and on the banner I want his hands and face to be visible, if this can be done. Thank you in advance.

The only reason I didn't include Yu Yu Hakusho in my listing is because I caught a good part of the series on [adult swim], and if I can't see Yusuke give the finger, the I really don't want to see him at all. They should have just played the whole series on [as] instead of transitioning the series right after the Saint Beast arc. I'm soon going to get the fifty subbed episodes of Naruto, so there will be another reason for me not to watch Toonami. Basically, the only reason I even watch Toonami now a days, is to catch [adult swim] on saturdays, and to remember the good ole days. Ever since they stopped showing it on weekdays, and even before then the series segment was slowly decaying. *sigh*... The glory days are over... -
Mugen's Picks Vol. 2 Brand New: this collaboration of little known Chicago rapper Rhymefest with his close friend, Kanye West is amazing. I like this song better than most of the songs on Late Registration, and the song isn't even Kanye's. Rhymefest kills it when it comes to lyrics... I mean honestly... "Wack-Tos-Intolerant".... Sugar We're Goin' Down: I have found myself enthralled with rock music again because of My Chemical Romance, and this little band, Fall Out Boy. While not as punk as I usually like my music (and no, not punk like f***in' Good Charlotte or Simple Plan... bastards), I still thoroughly enjoyed the lyrics and music, even if you can't completely understand what the singer is trying to get at... (Load a God Complex? Or is it Load a Gun?) Number One Spot: with the most original beat I've heard since "Hard Knock Life", sampling the Austin Powers theme was a brilliant move by Ludacris and the song is just a goofy fun time. The lyrics are mostly non-sense, while still sounding relevant, but mostly just using Austin Powers jokes. It may not be the most original song, but it's still great. Beverly Hills: Now heres a song that catches my ear. Great guitar and bass rifts, lyrics that are relatable, and a song thats stays at a certain level of originality. No, their not preppy rock like Switchfoot, and no, their not pop punk like Simple Plan, their just themselves. They dress like they want, they play like they want (which is beautiful) and I just love Weezer, and I always will. Plus, the bass solo? in that song was brilliant. Boulevard of Broken Dreams/Holiday: It's Green Day... who doesn't like Green Day? Where's Your Money: Busta Rhymes brings it back in this song. It's what I loved most about '90s New York Hip Hop in the new millenium. Plus, the collaboration of ODB aka Dirt McGirt was poinet... I miss the man, and I'll miss his style and flavor in Hip Hop. R.I.P.O.D.B. ---------------------------------------------------------------- P.S.- Listen to "The Potion" on the CD and tell me it's stupid. That one of my favorite songs on Red Light District, right behind "Everything's Gonna Be Alright".

Geh... I despise those "How To Draw Manga" Books. The art style is so generic and unoriginal. You can't just adapt your hand to a 'manga' art style and call it manga. Every mangaka has their own original style, and unless it is drawn by the same person, than you'll notice most manga have a very original style to them. The books that I've seen have a very closed in sense of how to draw in a Japanese Cartooning style, when you should actually be trying to draw in a style that you feel is your own. I'm not saying that the books are horrible and shouldn't be used, I'm just saying if you wish to attain a style that is your own completely and that you can call original, then I suggest you only use the books for getting the thumbnails (rough sketches) down so you can understand the human form. Tracing, however, helped me to understand the dynamics of a picture, how to use positioning and clothing to create a dramatic image that looked good on its own. Why not learn from the masters of the craft than take advice from a book trying to boil down the original art styles of manga into a generic 'style'.

(old man voice) Youngsters these days... don't remember the good ol' days. Hold on, I have an old parchment... Ahem... Outlaw Star was possibly the best show Toonami aired as a whole. It actually finished a series that wasn't Dragon Ball related in two seasons! The art style was beautiful, the characters where awesome, the Caster Gun was the f'ing shizznit, and the premise was very original aswell. Tenchi Muyo/Universe/In Tokyo... that kinda speaks for itself. If you missed out on the Tenchi Era, then you missed out on the Golden Age of Toonami. Ruroini Kenshin is a good anime in any form. I own the first season DVDs, so I'm not really missing out on anything. Mobile Suit Gundam: 008th MS Team was a classic aswell. But it should have been on [adult swim]. But still, it was great. Currently, Naruto and IGPX have me tooning in, but other than that, I have no reason to watch old episodes of DBZ and Yu Gi Oh GX.... -
Most comic/manga writers are also the penciler's of their book, so it would be a very good skill to pick up, but to be a good artist, you have to practice... now when I say practice I mean like, when your not eating or sleeping, or doing other physically important activities, you should be drawing. As soon as I get to it, I'll showcase some of my works, but to say the least, I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil or crayon in my hands. So if you mean to start learning in later life, you should be ready to practice alot. One good thing is this, if you want to learn how to draw, a good starter off, is as previously suggested, tracing the work of others (preferrably those you like or would like to resemble). My first style was predominatley Dragon Ball Z, Akira Toriyama, cuz I constantly was tracing pics of Vegeta and Gohan. Eventually, I moved on to Street Fighter, and then, I began doing my own style, which could be described as Street Fighter meets Naruto. I suggest doing alot of tracing on well drawn peices, and then, try drawing the same figures by just looking at the peice, and then eventually drawing the figures out of memory. Then after a while, try doing your own original characters in that style or if possible, a style of your own. I highly suggest this method.

Before I became the entity known as Mugen, I was ReFlux, which was my attempt to come up with a cool, yet original sounding username which didn't fall into the 'japanese' or 'anime style' name set. But I eventually got tired of having to make sure I capitalized the F, so I simply changed and sold out for the name of Mugen, who is possibly the closest thing to myself that I can think of in an anime character. Careless, a little clumsy, occasionally fierce (but usually not intimidating), and lazy as it gets. He is, for those who are missing out, one of the three main characters of Samurai Champloo. A former pirate/swordsman who's fighting style involves acrobatic breakdancing moves. Also, he has a foul mouth and a scruffy little mustache, which is the closest thing to facial I have gotten so far. So, yeah. Mugen are I.

Mugen's Picks Feel Good Inc.: Sold me the Gorilla's new album single handedly. Rekindled my love for the band altogether. Had one of the best bass guitar riffs this year. And much to my pleasure, the album was excellent. I also love their track "Dirty Harry", "White Light", and "November Has Come". Go Crazy: Once again showing me why Jay-Z is the greatest rapper around. This man sold me this song with his one verse. While Young Jeezy did have excellent verses on there, you could tell they where influenced by the man himself, Hova. I mean, how do you beat: "I'm A Hustlah's Hope, I'm Not His Pipe Dreams" "So When They Speak Of Success, I'm What They Might Mean" "I Track Money, My Worst Color Is Light Green" "My Favorite Hue Is Jay-Z Blue" "Don't Follow Me, Youngin', Follow My Moves" "I'm Not A Role Model" "The Bad Influence Got The World Drinkin' Gold Bottles" Can't touch it... also the beat could only be described as 'epic'. Boy I Think They Like Me (Remix): Every so often, a song's beat alone makes me love it, and causes me to do nothing short than dance my freakin' heart out. This is one of those songs. Dem Franchize Boyz, with the addiditions of Da Brat (who had the illest verse on the whole song) and Bow Wow (who thoroughly suprised me with his revised style) caught my energy on this song. Helena: While Emo-Punk Whatever, style of music My Chemical Romance is, usually isn't my forté, I really loved this song. The Guitar rifts and vocals where great and the song kinda stroke an emotional chord for me at the time. Gold Digger: I love Kanye West forever. While his latest album doesn't hit the same heights as his first did, I still have a love for this song. Jamie Foxx hits Ray Charles' voice just right, and Kanye's words accompanied with a beautiful beat sold me this song. I guess thats the first five...
Parents these days are just too closed-off from the world. Hell, I saw three different commercials today alone that cursed in context, one repeatedly, but the second an 'animated character' (AKA cartoon) says something that remotely relates to a reference of a curse word, it is blasphemous against all that is American and holy and just. I think this is just [AS]'s big push to finally get their own station, to be honest with you. >_>; Use public outcry to seperate themselves from the limiting Cartoon Network tag and show the different series they hold rights to like they want. I would actually prefer that. Either way, rant or no rant, I think The Boondocks is a hoot. Morally objectable content made light of in a condescending manner? What's not to love?
It's funny how the Simpson's, a show regularly featuring child abuse, alcoholism, and a good deal of cursing, is embraced by America and has ran for a plus of, what? 15 Years? And also air on primetime television is nationally embraced, but when a show such as the Boondocks or ATHF come onto a segment of late night television aimed at an audience over 14 years of age, they come under fire as not worthy of television, and that it's bad for children, who shouldn't be even be watching the programs on there. While it would be nice to have an independent [adult swim] network, I don't think the guys down on William's Street can support there own network with original or all animated programming. I mean. it would be kinda weird to watch ATHF at noon (though it would also be awesome). But then again, I don't really consider [as] a part of the Cartoon Network family. It's like, I watch Toonami, which is CN, up until [adult swim], which is like changing the channel. But yeah, Boondocks as a whole is a beautiful show. It's hilarious in all rights, and does remind me of an animated "Chappelle's Show" skit. I love it.... and yes, Uncle Ruckus does own my soul.

A new program on [adult swim] has recently piqued my interest in the form of Erin McGruder's "The Boondocks". From my knowledge, it was formerly a newspaper comic strip that I only got to catch a glimpse of once or twice in my memory. However, ever since the show began to air, I can't get enough of this show. The militant Huey, the witty Riley, and the ever present authority of Grandad Freeman have me laughing like I was back in the day when [as] was still premiering "Aqua Teen Hunger Force". Alot of people are criticizing the series on it's racial insensitivity (sp?), but then again, thats mostly what made the Chappelle Show a great success. Recently, my favorite episode has been "The Trial of Robert Kelley". The video footage scene and Riley's confrontation with R. Kelley's prosecutor where hilarious. I was wondering if anyone else has kept up with the show, and if they have any comments on it.

It was a dark and stormy night. A young person sat at their computer in hopes of creating a thread in the Otaku Lounge... then the impossible happenend. They spelt 'stories' with a 'Y'.... All joking aside. My former hometown of Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas had a widespread reputation of having many haunted buildings and homes. One of my favorite ones involved a young child telling his parent's of an old lady in black telling him stories from the late 1800's at bed time. If I could remember the details, I would retell it more accurately, but unfortunately, I moved from there some time ago and cannot recall it. It was quite beleivable though, seeing as how that same house where the family lived is still up and in use. I'm a sucker for the supernatural and have an undying belief that ghosts are a real phenomenon. Although they are pretty scary on paper, I think it would be pretty awesome to contact some how or another. I just hope that it's not the kind that like, you know, hurl glass objects across rooms at you.

Name: Lord Orlok Nickname: "Daemon of the Night, Nosferatu" Age: Unknown Gender: Male Species: Vampire Clan: Gwyar Appearance: Lord Orlok has gone through many metamorphisis through out his existance as a creature of the night. In order to retain his daily affairs, he has adopted the appearance of a young man in his early thirties with neck length, groomed black hair and handsome, clean shaven features. He still retains his pale complexion however, aswell as his crimson eyes, which are said to have power of the soul. He stands at a lanky 6'1'', weighing no more than 170 lbs. He is seen always appareled in a dark business suit of all black, including jacket, shirt, and tie. He also favors a dark black trench coat which covers the mass of his body, rendering only his feet, hands, and head visible. Though still a fearful sight to the mortal eye, few have ever seen the true nature of the one they call "Nosferatu", those unfortunate few either being his victims, or the original members of the Gwyar Clan. Weapons: Lord Orlok's natural abilities have surpassed the need for swords and daggers, his only weapon being his steel-like claws and his fangs. Powers: Eye of the Crimson Soul: Lord Orlok has the ability to peer into the psyche of his prey, rendering their mind to his will. He has been known to stun or hypnotize those foolish enough to take him in battle. Super Strength and Speed: Through his ages of existance, Lord Orlok has sculpted his body and dark soul to it's peak of combat efficiency. His speed and power in battle have been known to be unmatchable. Telekinesis: Through the power of immortality, Lord Orlok has gained the ability of telekinesis. Though seldom used, once his true form is needed, he is known to rip through his opponents with the power of thought and concentration. Crimson Claws: Lord Orlok's finger nails have hardened and elongated into knife-like claws that are able to peirce any surface. He favors using these supernatural weapons in combat, piercing and ripping the flesh of his opponents with his bare hands. Crimson Rebirth: In ancient legend, there spoke of a being so powerful, so ruthless, that it's being rendered only one name, "Daemon of the Night, Nosferatu". This is the name given to Lord Orlok's true form. When he awakens this ancient power, none are able to match his brutal power. It is said that once this form is taken, there would be no time to even see it before one's life was already taken. Personality: Lord Orlok is a solemn, quiet man who keeps his thoughts mostly to himself in meetings. But when he speaks, he cuts his words down to the point. He does not favor the dance-like routines that the Clan Heads like to carry on with, laying down his firm opinion when asked, and not taking a word back. He is a very final man, and is known for his cool temper in all of his affairs. Level headed and calm in day to day life, he is known as a completely different being in battle. His demeanor becomes that of a ravenous beast, moving with the speed of an un-earthly being, he is known for his maniacal cackling and beast-like battle cries as he slaughters his foes like a wolf amongst lambs. Biography: Legend has it that the beast known as Nosferatu born from the Prince of Lies himself. This legend is believed even by his peers of the Gwyar Clan. The truth of his origin is unknown to everyone save the man called Lord Orlok. Lord Orlok was one of the originators of the Gwyar Clan of Vampires, allying himself with the other lords of darkness, including the one that would later be known as lord Dracula. This would lead to their eventual confusion for one another, though they were both very distinct personalities. Lord Orlok was a major figure through out Eastern Europe during the dark and middle ages, rallying his own following and ursurping his power in the Germanic regions with a minimum of blood shed. Simply, he absorbed smaller, individual clans through his natural ability to lead men. However, he quickly made an example of any who betrayed his trust or put up defense against his rule. Through that, many both feared and respected him. Benevolent in his reign, Lord Orlok was able to come to power of what would eventually become Germany, aswell as most of the countries south of it, whilst his frequent partner, Lord Dracula, took the lands of Romania and the area surrounding it. Always, Orlok was able to subside internal conflict amongst his underlings with a minimum of violence, and was regarded highly through out as a man of great valor and honor. A rare quality in vampire. Both a gentleman and benevolent of a ruler, Lord Orlok was popular in and out of his land of rule. Always being sure to represent his people well in the Gwyar Councel, while also keeping his silent, to the point demeanor. However, his seemingly unaggresive attitude to rule was never mistaken for weakness, for those who knew him before reign also knew of his immense power in battle. He was therefore also greatly respected by his peers. As of late, Lord Orlok has felt a great storm brewing in the far East. He knew a new era of war was soon to come. He slowly seemlessly readied his land for battle, aswell as perparing himself for glorius combat, something he truely missed. For the first time in centuries, excitement and bloodlust coursed through Lord Orlok's body and soul. He was ready for war... Writing Snippet: (My Honest Mistake...) The year is 1256, the war of the smaller vampire clans in the Germanic lands are still going strong. A heavy confrontation was brewing in the city of Rammstein, as the rogue warriors of the Greisha Clan held their ground as the approaching forces of the detested being known as Nosferatu led a peaceful invasion into the city streets. Darkness bathed the cobblestone pathaways, lanterns of wax and oil the only source of light on the starless night. Surrounded by hooded figures in black, a man attired in a heavy cloak and the garments of a light-footed soldier came in trotting on the back of an ebony stallion, it's head and back decorated with a fine saddle and reigns. The dark figure riding it's back, controlling the beast with ease, stopped in the center of the street. His clothing consisted of a Long, black coat consisting of what seemed to be the pelts of several wolves. He wore a light, leather vest of black with a matching undershirt, aswell as black trousers tucked into long-legged boots. He stood there in the streets for moments, staring from under the hood of his cloak with what seemed to be bloody red eyes, peircing into the souls of the Greisha vampires, giving particular attention to their leader, who stood in the center of the group of particularly grough looking men. His name was Gustav Vormandus. He was a husky, bearded man with a particularly arrogant demeanor about him. He then began to speak, "What business to ye have in my village?" he spoke in what seemed to be ruffian grunts. "My name is Lord Orlok of the Clan Gwyar..." the figure ontop the horse spoke in a tongue of fine silk, his words complemented by his rich tone of voice. "I have come to this place to request the peaceful surrender of your clan, and to be accepted into my own prestigous clan. You will be taken care of finally, just as long this procedure can be handled... peacefully..." he spoke, envising his last word with the tone of a threat. To his great annoyance, the entire group of men began laughing in deep haws at his request. This caused a small twing in his brow. The Greisha leader spoke, trying to subside his laughter, "Y-you surely can't be speaking in your wits, sire... Heh. Me and my clan don't answer to no ones, but ourselves!" he said with great power, raising a thick battle sword from his side and above his head, much to the chagrin of his men, who joined him with a loud 'Huzzah'! "Now..." he began again, "If ye want my land, and my people, then ye will have to bleed for it!" he growled loudly, exposing his thick, blackened fangs to his men who also followed suit. But their cheering slowly stopped as they heard another man's laughter come from across from them. It was Lord Orlok ontop his horse, who cackled with great amusement, his light laughs turning into deep, heavy growls of laughter as he looked down his nose at the men in front of him. "Your words... Your arrogance... They annoy me greatly. HAHAHA!!!" Lord Orlok began laughing again and continued to eyeball the Greisha leader. "Do you truely believe you can harm the Daemon KING!?!?!" Orlok roared with great vigor, suddenly dissapearing from the saddle of his horse. A ruckus broke out amongst the Greisha's, shouting cries of confusion peering around their surrounding for the shadow of a man. Suddenly a short screech and a liquid-splatter alerted them as they turned with great suprise to see their leader held slightly off the ground. His obnoxius voice silenced by the clawed hand rammed through his upper abdomen, blood gushing and spilling onto the ground in large amounts. "No being, dead or alive, threatens the Daemon of the Night. You cowards of the Greisha? Do you wish to meet same the fate as this pig of a vampire?!" Orlok growled feircly, dropping the now dead Gustav off his arm, limp onto the cobblestone street into a puddle of crimson liquid. "Or do you wish to serve a true vampire lord?!" From that day on, all vampire under the clan of Greisha fell into the orders of the Gwyar. Rammstein shortly after became Lord Orlok's base of operations through out the Germanic regions... Other: Little know that Lord Orlok has a soft spot for women. Though he is not a lustful man, he does not like to go very long without a woman to call his own. Orlok has married several times in his existance, loving the woman he was with until she died naturally. So is the curse of immortality. His wives, all vampire, are sadly unable to stay alive as long as he himself. This is a fact of life Orlok has come to accepts, and allows himself to fall in love over and over again across the centuries. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finished.... Please inform me if any change is needed.

Not so sure if this is old news or not, seeing as how I havn't visited in an ungodly long time, I would like to point out that whilst watching the ole tube, Filter came on G4Tech TV, during their net-to-know segment, myOtaku was placed as the number one anime site on the net... hmm... beloved Otaku, finally, you gain the appreciation you deserve. Has anyone else heard from this? (If so, can I get a "Booyah" in there somewhere...?) -Mugen

I'm a former Army Brat, so you can image that I've moved numerous times. I've moved about ten times since I can remember. Though, it is different for me because I moved several times as a young child, I can relate with my most recent move. I really loved the place I lived, and I had more friends than I ever had. I was really enjoying my stay and I knew the area I was in very well. When we moved, of course, I tried keeping in contact, but all the times I've moved, I've found that it's very hard to do this with out a lot of effort, so I gave up on it. If this is your first move, then I can't really give you any advice. I learned through trial and error and learned how to make friends quick, and change myself for my surroundings. I suggest you do the same. Stay who you are, but be flexible and adaptable to your surroundings, and be willing to try new things from the area you are in. Make friends, and try not to act too shy. And if you value your friends back at home, then I guess it'd be good to keep in contact with them through phone or mail. I never did, because I don't hold onto the past, but I know if I were to move tommorow, I deffinetly would.
Like hell its not their fault! That's like saying a pot dealer has no control over who his customers are. I agree that his music reflected his tragic life, and thats not wrong, but he [i]targeted[/i'] the teen market! Pac's music is very adult in nature, and has no place in the lives of children (or teens for that matter). In fact, I question its relevancy to modern US Culture....
Tupac was barely out of his teens when he became a famous rapper, I mean, he died at 25, and that was after a five year career as a rapper. So in all reality, if he was reaching a teen audience, then he was speaking to, basically, his peers. Now, as for your saying he was targeting children, I must disagree. Tupac might have tried to get his message to the 16+ crowd, but he didn't target children. He would have been a very bad role model, yes, but he didn't try to be a role model, he just rapped about his life. Also, as for his relevance to US Culture, he is considered one of the greatest recording artists of the our generation, as far as Hip Hop goes, aswell, his murder is still unsolved, and is wrapped in contraversy. Again, I am not a big Tupac man, but I do know that most gangsta rappers are not targeting 'children' with their message. Maybe mature teens, but not children. It's not the rapper's fault who gets their hands on the music, its the people who publish and distribute the rapper's music.
