Family Guy Trivia!

Answer: "I Wanna Rock All Night"... (Although I think the real title is "Detroit City Rock" or something.) Not big KISS guy. Bonus: Goes unanswered. I can't remember. Also, Dragon Warrior's Question's answer is Count Chocula. Also, to be corrected, The Black Knight drove a yellow Hyundai, not a Saturn. Question: What is Mr. Weed's (Peter's former Boss) original family name? Bonus: What is the name of the Toy Company he owned?
2.
Wow!! When'd that happen!? (speeds away to grab the DVDs and filler-ep.s)
It was an episode near the end, I beleive the 22nd episode, entitled "Hard Luck Women". Great episode, great fight. Its fun to see Spike have his *** handed to him by such a bulking guy. You'd think he'd be all slow, but he just blocks and head-butts Spike quicker than he can think. Continued List: In Dragon Ball Z (hey, way back when, this was the shizznat) when Cell killed Future Trunks and Vegeta freaked out and started blasting Cell into the ground, only to have him come out un-scathed and blast him right back. When watching Hellsing, the anime,
seeing Walter, Integra's trashman, take out a whole hallway of SWAT zombies with a bunch of piano wire or something of the sort.
Just to show, old men can be bad-***es to. Rock Lee beating that arrogant prick, Sasuke, senseless all the while Sakura cheered the latter on. The last scenes of 'Real Folk Blues Part 2' in Cowboy Bebop. The fight between Hanzo and the crew of the Outlaw Star in Outlaw Star. Who remebers that!? And then, after everyone thought Hanzo was dead, he just gets up out his grave and says "Huh... Sure burried me deep enough." That was great. (Especially when Asia got wrapped up in that string of grenades! HAH! Thats classic!)
3. The
death of Maes Hughes
in Fullmetal Alchemist... and when they showed Ed with his severed leg in the show's beggining. Also, the Fight between Ed and Roy Mustang. The fight between Edward's Dad and Spike in Cowboy Bebop. The death of Berny in Mobile Suit Gundam: War in a Pocket. Vegeta ripping of Andriod 19's arm's in Dragon Ball Z. The bloody carnage that was the end of Akira.
Particularly Kaneda's girl freind getting squashed...
I have quite a few.
4. Mike had received his PM late, being as busy as he was, he had only one day to prepare himself for the long drive to Houston. It was in it's first day, as he drove his metallic blue Camaro RS down the hot, empty asphalt, the music from within thumping and rattling the loose windows of the car. He wore an outfit of a large white t-shirt under a blue pinstriped button-shirt with a pair of blue jeans and blue and white Reebok classics. He smiled smoothly while nodding his head to the beat of his dirty south Hip Hop. He felt good as he disobeyed the speed limit though the barren wasteland. And it suprised him when his car made that damned dining noise to tell him that he was running low of gas. He looked at the meter, and then looked on to see a small, dusty speck in the distance. Hopefully a gas station, he checked his meter again and continued on hurridley. He feared what might happen to him if his car were to break down on the road, which was blazing hot, showing thick merages in the distance, he suddenly felt hotter than he did a few seconds ago and rolled up his window, turning on the a/c. He was almost to the now visible gas station when his car began making strange sputtering sounds. With a loud *pat* and *bang*, he ceased his acceleration and his car began to roll down the road. When it came to a complete stop about 30 yards away from the gas station, he began pushing on the stearing will. Sighing angrily, he took off his blue shirt and got out of the car and began pushing the hot trunk with his nice, new shirt under his hands to soften the burning sensation. That didn't help the sun beating down on his skin, however. By the time he rolled his car into the dirty, rusty looking gas station, it became apparent this wasn't going to be an expirience he would want to remember, as a tall, thick-set man came to the entrance of the station. He was wearing an grease stained tank top and whiping his hands on a questionable looking rag. His hair was blonde and crew cut and his face was grizzled with a thick 5 o'clock shadow. He was dirty all over. Mike sighed, and said to the man, "How much ya chargin'?". The thick man just laughed at him.
5. The whole "altering history" thing reminds me alot of George Orwell's book, 1984 and a particular essay following it. In the book itself, the socialist/communist goverment of Oceania alters its history text books on a regular basis, just so it can make it's citizen's passionatley hate the current enemy by making them beleive that the country had ALWAYS been at war with the current enemy. But more to the point, the essay "There Was No Incident In Tianmen Square" (or something along those lines) tells how the communist chinese government had denied and lied to it's citizens about the student's protest at Tainmen Square, and it wasn't until the press release of the event all over the world (particularly the chinese student being trampled by a tank) that the gorvernment had finally let the issue out. This seems to be, in my eyes, what Japan is doing to mask its war crimes against chinese civilains in World War II. I had recently seen a documentary about a Japanese Weapons Testing Unit, which tested numerous ballistics, chemical, biological, and physical weapons on imprisoned chinese civilians and American POWs. That, combined with the Japanese poinsoning several rivers that the chinese were dependant on for survival, were terrible war crimes, that I'm sure Japan wanted to mask. Still, I find it very wrong how they are changing the text books and trying to control the truth of the world. Some outside party needs to step in and set things straight before things between China and Japan get out of control...
6. I usually have all sorts of random thoughts blurring through my head. I have a few quotes that I carry around, like, lately, I've been saying "They-ah's a some-then a-wrong with-a mah Clock...", a quote from this show on Spike TV called "The Lance Krall Show". I also have countless "Family Guy" quotes stored up in there somewhere... one I use quite often, in a my usual random humor is Bryan's drunken singing, "Moneymoneymoney.... MOOONEEEY!" or "I was going to name her Trudy, but Louis said kids these days wouldn't understand the reference, you know what I'm talkin' 'bout right? Biddididididididididy..." I also just question my self alot out of the things I see, like I look into my girlfreind's face and think "I think I could be with this girl forever..." or I'll just look up into the cloud's and think "Why exactly am I here? Why was I born me?" or even "Why was I born human?" I'm a deeper person than this, but I'm just a really goofy guy, and I try to accept my life without questioning it too deeply, so that I can use my energy to find happiness and success in it. My deeper quotes come from people like Krishnamurti, Jesus (the Bible), and Bruce Lee. I try to be kind to those around me, turn the other cheek when confronted, remember to be calm and cool as long as I can, and adapt to the situations that I'm put in, love my fellow human, and always be true to who I am, and be myself. I have quite a few philosphical thoughts that I just don't really bring out.
7. I was wondering if anyone could answer a question of mine. I read in a character profile at wikipedia.net about Rock Lee that he,
after getting his surgery, grabbed a bottle of sake in mistake of a bottle of medicine on his way to go and help save Sasuke. Drinking from the bottle, he becomes drunken and shows that he is naturally a master of Drunken Fist Taijutsu. Can anyone confirm this, and if possible, show me the send me a PM showing him doing this?
Also, who does he fight during this?
8. Hope you don't mind if my character drives (recklessly) to your place. I thought it would make for a better intrance. So instead of showing my character before taking the plane, I'll show him on the road, getting gas, and what not. That okay?
9. I finally finished up my post, pic and all, so you can add me to the list now. I'm ready to get a rockin'. Tell me if theres anything that I need to change, and I will. If not, then lets go.
10. Name: Mike a.k.a. ReFlux Age: 19 (in four years) Gender: Male Appearence: So Yup In My... Grey Tee? Character Snippit: Mike grumply opened his eyes, awoken by his alarm clock set for 6:00 am... he looked over angrily and remembered it was a saturday, laughing, he slammed his hand heavily onto the off button and resumed his hybernation for another seven hours. Waking at 1:00 pm, he rolled out of bed and put on his left over close and stumbled into the kitchen, retreiving a glass of sweet tea and a slice of cold pizza, he jumbled over to his computer real fast to check out his Mail. Yawning, his attention was soon caught by an e-mail sent by one of his good net friends. It read: Hey guys, School is finally out, so I want you all to come spend a week here in Texas with me. I hope you all can come; I can?t wait to see everyone! Hopefully we won?t have any problems with planes and such. As soon as you all get here, we?ll get you settled into a suite in the hotel, and then we can all go out to party at my place! I?ll meet you all at the airport in two weeks time, at seven, your time. Hope to see you then! Kelly a.k.a. SimpleChaos Mike took another bite of his pizza and swalloed hard. With out a second thought, he took a shower, put on his clothes, at the moment being a grey t-shirt, a pair of Rocawear black jeans, and a pair of low-top reebok classics in grey and black, he rose out of his room, left a short note to his room mate and girlfreind, and took out his newly revised, blue '91 RS Camaro. He revved the engine and placed in his Ludacris CD,Red Light District, and made his way towards Texas... hoping he wouldn't get lost. He didn't care too, he was mellow, and he was feeling cool today, so he turned up the stereo, upped the bass, and kept on rolling. *(Man, that might be the most fictional thing I ever wrote about myself... anyways... I'm ready! Sorry if it was a bit short.)*
11. I love the theme. But for two things. The font would look more dynamic if it were thicker, maybe a little more edgy in style. And the color of Sasuke is a little too bright. It hurts my retena looking at it too long. Maybe a darker color, crimson or dark orange maybe. A darker yellow or gold would help to soften it aswell. Just my opinion, I love the concept though and pic of Sasuke though.

"Candy Shop"
Well, considering ^.^ was the one who compared 50 to a 2 year old, I didn't really think it was a fair assumtion.
Hold On! Thats Right! And ^.^ was who I was referring to, not you. Oh, you got me all confused. I never adressed your post until my third paragraph, ^.^'s comment was in the first paragraph, so you had no reason to take offense to my assumption, because I was speaking to ^.^, or atleast, responding to it. So, thats a bit of an overreaction on your part. So, actually, I retract my apology for assumption, because I wasn't referring to you! So no harm, no foul. I rest my case on my opinion of the song. I appreciate it for what it is, a rap song with a simple, universal subject, that is explained through different, complex, and original rhymes. Sooo, lets drop the arguement or whatever you wanna call it and let the thread be what it is. Why you like or dislike the song, and discuss why.
13. Wasn't IGPX formerly a micro-series on Toonami way, way back in the day when it was showed during week days? Are they turning it into a full lenght show now or something? It sounds likely Naruto will be on Toonami, seeing as how One Peice is on now, its seems likely to follow in it's foot steps seing as how their both Shonen Jump properties. But seeing all the violence in the Dragon Ball Series, the dismantlement of Outlaw Star, the high amount of sexual themes in the former Tenchi Muyo, and the gore from them combined (and Gundam 008th), I don't think Naruto will have to go through to much serious editting, except for a little more smoke around the Ninja Centerfold, maybe a little less blood fountain from the resulting nosebleeds and mutliple stab wounds, possibly a few less "Damn You's" and we'll have a show! Its not like we have to worry about the Manga getting messed up, since there both about the same thing, so I'm happy as long as I get a glimpse. If I want to see what 'really' happens, I'll just crack open a volume. (Also, if anyone does Naruto's voice in the series, I think it should be the guy who did Cloud's voice in the original Zoids series. Thats always what I imagined his voice being like in the Manga.) I'm thinking that Toonami will probably pick up Shaman King aswell. Who knows?
14. I'm about 5'10" - 5'11", last I checked. I'm around that area where I'm short to tall people and tall to short people. I've got pretty long legs though, and I'm lanky, so I'm not too threatening to any one... I look more like beanstalk than about anything.

"Candy Shop"

Excuse me for my assumptions, kakashi. I just disagree at your point in comparing him to a two year old, when I beleive his rhymes a pretty complex and what not. I assumed you didn't listen to the album because of this disagreement, and for that, I admit my wrong. 50 Cent's "Candy Shop" isn't a song about love, but sex directly. Not sex for love, but the love of sex, so I guess talking about sex as an expression of love in that song wouldn't have fit in right, thats about my only disagreement at the moment. (And I wasn't comparing 50 and 182, I was just giving an example of another musical styling using sexual references in song.)

"Candy Shop"

You know what kid... I wasn't insulting your opinion or being rude to you, I was just objecting to it with my own opinion. There was no need to get all "You just got Owned" and what not. That was uncalled for. But, if thats what you want it to be, then check it... First, I see, not only no reference to a female as a b*tch or ho, but I also see only one curse word in the whole song, which doesn't even refer to the female. Aswell, the whole song is based about enjoying sex together, not him making a sex slave out of a girl, I mean, listen to Olivia's lyrics to and what she is saying... secondly, in calling main stream America "stupid" is just straight up arrogant and ignorant, as if your above them. Third, seeing as 50 actually has the girl that collaborates with him on the song signed to his label, and she also speaks of how she will basically take advantage of a man, like a man would to a woman, seems kinda evened out to me. For a fourth, 50 has lots of meaning behind his songs, he just doesn't hide it behind complex symbolism. Fifth, Blink 182 is one of my favorite bands ever, so don't go trying to school me on them. Sixth, to judge Hip Hop, you first have to appreciate what Hip Hop is, which is about telling about what you know or see, which may be his "rough life" or girls. Hip Hop artists, male and female, both refer to the opposite sex in lude ways, hell, 50 had been referred to directly by Missy Elliot in one of her songs, so its not like he's the only one, or the worst of the bunch. Seventh, if you think that 50, and any other rapper, is speaking off truth, or what they beleive is the truth, then your a fool. Rappers are famous for high exageration and fantasy fulfillment. They rap about things that are not always true, or highly exagerate the truth. 50 is no different. I'm sure he doesn't go around, macking hundreds of chicks, no less than Eminem goes out killing his Mom after raping her, so hey, chill out on the lack of humor, rappers have it to, why ya think he laughs so much in the song? (Check out Biz Markie!). Lastly, you will never, ever, own me, kid. Now that I'm done defending myself, lets get back to the subject matter. I appreciate "Candy Shop" for what it is, a rap song that is free from heavy editting and still has that naughty, 'can he say that on radio' edge to it, while also using some pretty untouched lyrics. I rest my case.
17. Hmm.... Beating Tekken 4 on Very Hard in under 10 minutes should be one. That was a good time. Unlocking all the characters in Tekken Tag Tournament. Finally beating ******** Leo in Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. Beating Street Fighter II on SNES with Ken. (That Damned, Jack Rabbit Vega!!!) Beating and completeing all of Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions. Being Sexually molested in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. *snicker* Being the undisputed champ of Timesplitters 2 in Multitap Four Player. Finishing that stupid Water Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Beating Super Smash Brothers on Very Hard with one life... and I still didn't Unlock Goku... (I was so naive...) Getting every movie and character in Twisted Metal Black. Beating Time Crisis 2 with dual guns... (I felt so bad *ss... And it hurt too, standing there for one and half hours...) Beating Raven in Metal Gear Solid. Figuring out how to beat Psycho Mantis is Metal Gear Solid. Finishing Alice in Wonderland in Kingdom Hearts. Beating (FINALLY) Robot Akuma in Street Fighter vs. Marvel Super Heroes. Sitting through every cut scene of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and then staying up till 7 a.m. beating it. Then sitting though the credits. (Didn't wanna miss the shocking end!) Thats all for now...
18. I would like to request a banner/avatar set featuring screen shots from either the original "Street Fighter II Turbo" on the SNES. I have a link to a pic that you can use Ken vs. Bison It can be cut and shrunk down for the banner, all I need is the part of the pic showing Ken hitting Bison, really. For the avatar, have a close up on Ken's head, and his lower shoulder. All I really want is the pictures, nothing really needs to be added, maybe, if possible, put in the lower right corner of the banner, put the words small (in an old computer code font) "Old School". Thats it. I'd really love it, thanks in advance to all who try.

"Candy Shop"

Please don't compare 50 Cent to a two year old until you listen to his CDs, and his non-single tracks. The guy has tongue twisters left and right that you couldn't say half as fast as he does, and I'm not even a fan of him (but I am a fan of Lloyd Banks, that guy!). I agree with Genkai, "Candy Shop" is a triumphant Rap song. I mean, It was the number one song in America from some time, but other than that, it does take Rap in a slightly different direction, using Blues Age metaphors and equal-standing take on sexuality, its pretty refreshening in the genre as it grows more and more monotonous with most of its main-stream artists. (Don't get me wrong, I love rap, mainstream aswell, but some of the stuff out is getting boring.) "Candy Shop", musically, is pretty good too, not the best, but I like it. I prefer "On Fire" to "Candy Shop" any day. But its still a great song. I love it. Oh, and x kakashi x, the song doesn't talk about 'hoes' or 'b*thces' at all. And what else can rich rappers rap about other than their life style? The News? I don't think so. And come on, there are gobs of songs out there that are not about rap that revolve around sex, or have sexual messages. Example, Blink 182 "Push it out, fake a smile, avert disaster, just in time..." Come on! We all know what that means. Back to the point, I like the song, but its not great (Like say, "Dirt Off Ya Shoulder" by Jay-Z. Talk about a catchy beat!).
20. Alright then, go ahead and post the thread, Skye. But I do want to fight you and StarrStruck sometime soon. My character is built for this kind of fight. Ready whenever.
21. Well, I guess I loose even if Kairi does vote for me... Oh well, I accept defeat graciously. Now, on to the battle against Skye. I'm ready when you are. (Also, I was talking to Starr about her vote, not yours, I have no problem either way, though. Sakura wrote well.). Hey, I got a good idea... A grudge handicap match! Starr and Skye vs. Me, alone! I gotta redeem myself some way or another. Hows a-bout it?
22. In the battle of Retribution vs. Kaira, my vote goes to Retribution. Miyamoto's the man, and always will be. Ya both did a great job, but my hats off to Musashi. (Oh, and in the fight between me and Sakura, I told her that she could take it any way and that she could end the battle, and she decided it to end it that way, so don't count that against me, Starr.) Sorry,I'm not being a soar loser, it just feels a little biased.
23. Name of Angel: Zereul, Angel of Might Name of Avatar: Michael Phothitia Age of Avatar: 1200 Years (if combined) Gender of Avatar: Male Appearance: Michael, the avatar, has been used for thousands of years. His human form is tall and slinder, standing around 5'11", his body weight is 144 lbs, about 9% of it being fat, he is skinny and bony, with long muscles. His hair is short cut and flipped at the bangs, being auburn in color. His eyes are a clear hazel, which give off a brick-red tint when exposed to the light. His skin is dark in tone, since he is mediteranean in descent. He has a roman nose, posed upon his face around his large eyes, which are usually lazily drooped, but when opened fully, they give off a sense of furiousity and intenseness. The avatar, Michael, roots back to ancient Greece and is several thousand years old, but his appearence never changes. In the current time period he is usually seen wearing clothing that is different, but socially exceptable, so that he is common, but attractive towards those around him, as if giving off some aura. He enjoys the colors red and white to wear ontop of dark blue jeans which hang from his thing hips. His movements are smooth and flowing. Weapons: Being the Angel of Might, Michael/Zereul has natural strength, which is unseen in his thin frame. He therefore took advantage of his body instead of opting for weapons, and began studying in the Earth's fighting and martial arts. He has mastered the ancient Grecian fighting art of Pancration Wrestling/Boxing. With the combination of his speed and strenght, Michael is a deadly hand to hand fighter, even if posed against and armed combatanant. At the age of 18, Michael was given his true weapon by God, which he found, as was he told in his dream vision, in a feild behind his parents farm house. The weapon was a finely decorated sword, the blade being exactly three feet in lenght, the base of the blade is decorated with gold weaving into the handle, which turns into golden twists into it's butt, which is a red saphire. The sword was the of the original Angel of War and Destruction, Michael, also known as Loki, whom destroyed Sadom and Gamora. Powers: Zereul/Michael can summon the will and spirit of fire and manifest it in nearly any form he wishes. His favorite and most effective form of fighting with it is surrounding his holy sword with flame and fighting at close range with his sword, but he is also capable of breathing out the fire and shooting balls/streams of fire from his hands and mouth. When angered, Michael has an unknown technique that he can manifest using fire, but no record has ever been taken of its exsistance. Favorite Color: Red Likes: Training/Building his body's power. Fire (a bit of a Pyro...). Cigarettes. Dislikes: Being Alone. Losing. Cheaters. Biography of Avatar: Zereul has been in human for nearly 19 years in the current era. However, he has been in contact with the human race from back in the ancient Greek era. He has been the inspiration of legends for as long as humanity could tell tales of heroism. He travels from place to place, time to time, helping those in need of his abilities. And always, he would disguise his death and leave back to heaven when needed. His avatar has gone through several name changes, but always the same body. Through this, he has gained insurmountable battle expirience. He took part in several wars, including the Crusades, fighting alongside the guise of a knight, fighting alongside the Crusaders. But no matter what face he took, he was a war hero, who died in battle, supposedly. Michael Phothitia is the 218th reincarnation of Zereul, the Angel of Might. He had been raised on the Greek island Crete since his birth, and was raised by a very relegious and poor family. His father raising lamb for a living and his mother sewing wool products, they made due with the little they had. Because of his poverty, Michael grew up defending himself constantly from neighbourhood bullies, with this, he began becoming a fighter, but little did he know, he was much stronger than any other boy his age. This is something that confused him as he grew up, but thought it as a blessing. When Michael turned 17, he was told by God in a vision, his true descent, as Zereul. Soon after this dream, he found that he could control flames and fire with his mind and will power. Later on, he found his other gift from god, Michael's Sword, in a feild behind his parent's farm. Once again, in another vision, Michael was told by God that he woulds soon have to take part in a grand battle. With out a doubt in his mind of the truth of this vision, Michael began preparing himself for a battle with an unknown enemy, his only clue being "Evil will be amongst them...". With this, Michael begins his quest to search for these evil beings, and for those who can help him in his quest. Personality: Michael is smooth talking and authoritive. He possesses trust from those around him, and inspires them to bravery. Aswell as this, he is very selfless with his action and much rather sacrafice himself than those that he cares for. Mortal Enemy: Artecius, God of Business and Unfairness Over All: Leader by Example. (I do hope this is correctly made, do tell if it needs changing or improvment.)
