I voted Rap, because its the closest thing to HIP HOP that there was. Rap is my first and most favorite form of music. Just something about it that makes my head nod a little more than anything else. But I am a huge fan of old school rock. Queen, Ozzy Osbourne, AC/DC, The Doors, the classics, man. Some current bands I like too. Blink 182, possibly the best commercialized punk band today. Sum 41 (there first two abulms atleast...). Oh, and I'm liking My Chemical Romance more and more every day. As for favorite artist... Gotta go with Jay-Z. Then Notorius B.I.G... Then... Ludacris. Sorry, but the guys the swiftest 'working' MC out right now (since Jay is 'retired' and Biggie's dead...). Oh, and Mos Def is an underground legend! Now if this were a Hip Hop category, it would be, hands down, the Invisbl Skratch Piklz... But since there not rappers, doesn't fall into the narrow catergory. (Sorry if I seem hostile.)

((Getting interesting...)) ReFlux nearly lost Sakura in the thicket of bamboo, the only thing tying her to his senses was the sound of her feet on the soppy ground. He walked slowly and patiently through the forest, holding both of the girl's foreign weapons in his right hand. He couldn't stand the instruments. The short, akward blades felt strange to him, and he was sure to get his spear back. As he continued walking, he was startled by the hair raising on the back of his neck and spun around quickly to see nothing, as he turned back, he saw Sakura's scorpion's peircing the air towards him. He tried his best to evade, but still caught three of the eitht caught in his right shoulder. This caused him to drop the dagger and knife he carried in his hand, but before they hit the ground, he saw the light image of his spear's white horse hair jutting at him, the girl attached at the end of the bit, holding on with both hands. ReFlux quickly dodged the side and took the spear inbetween his side and left bicep, he then quickly whipped his body to the left, throwing Sakura off the spear and slamming into a grouping of bamboo trees. The reselient trees bounced her off of them and shook water down upon her body. ReFlux ripped the jagged scorpions from his shoulder and gushed blood from the deep wound, growling at it. He then looked on to Sakura, who was still laying limp upon the soggy forest floor. ReFlux approached her slowly, and carefully. He was beggining to beleive that the blow from the trees had rendered her unconcious. But just as soon as this thought passed, Sakura leaped off the ground unnaturally and skimmed past ReFlux like a crawling lizard, then leaping forward, she rolled towards her knife and dagger and picked them up in her left and right hands. "Playing opossum doesn't seem very practical in such a battle..." ReFlux said solemnly, a look of dissapointment on his face. "It sure fooled you, didn't it?!" she yelped out with a laugh. ReFlux smirked in response and lunged forward in a suprising frontal attack, startling Sakura with its speed, he lunged towards her and nearly skewered her through the stomach, but she had leaped upward, and landed on the spear shaft with her feet, ReFlux had noticed it's stability was due to the fact that his spear head was stabbed through a bamboo tree. "Touché..." she muttered at the suprised ReFlux, who was caught by a back-flipping double kick to the jaw. This caused ReFlux to fall back with his spear coming out of the tree, he lifted up quickly, grunting as he wiped the blood from his chin. As soon as he lifted up, he watched Sakura lunge at him again, pushing her self from a bamboo tree with her feet, ReFlux responded angrily with a reverse back kick to the girls open chest, causing her to fall backwards on spot. She leaped up with a cough only to see ReFlux himself leaping backwards in a backflip and slamming his spear butt down, he then rendered his chi and pushed the spear sideways at the girl with tremendous force, Sakura panicked and dodged sideways as the spear bounced off a bamboo tree precisely and was caught back again by ReFlux he then leaped high in the air for a crushing downward blow on Sakura. Sakura gasped in terror...

ReFlux winced at his wounded back, but only that much. He no longer cared about wounds received in battle. They always healed quickly anyways, and that shallow wound wasn't enough to worry him. By this time, Sakura was at a very close range, smirking as she slashed in wild combinations, beleiving she had a full advantage on ReFlux, as he dodged and maneuvered out of her attacks way, but without the ability to counter. He was mearly leading her on. The rain, by then, had made his long robes and hair wet, and very heavy, something he had counted on. As soon as her reach was inches away from him at a maximum, ReFlux spun quickly, and slapped his heavy hair into the girls face with the force of a whip. As he spun, he rolled into the air off his feet, and slammed his spear butt into the ground. Sakura was momentarily blinded by the shot to the face, and ReFlux spun down his spear's shaft, and swung his feet forcfully into the girl head, causing her to fall to her left several feet. She landed hard, with a splash inside a Zen sand garden, which had flooded up. As Sakura began to raise up from the heavy blow ReFlux dealt her, she saw though blurry, water filmed vision, his spear head coming down near her head as he yelled out a battle cry, that was accompanied by a strike of lightening in the grey sky. She mustered up all of her strenght and leaped from the shallow water and landed on the shoulder of a Buhdda statue in the middle of the garden. She saw as his body landed down, the emmense splash of water erupting from the ground, this due to the force put behind it. Sakura looked in awe and fear as ReFlux raised his head slowly, having a look of furious concentration upon her. Sakura was slightly intemidated, but not scared, nor stunned. "Shaaaah!!!" she yelled as she leaped from the statue towards ReFlux, who was waiting in the raising water. She quickly slipped into her pocket and retracted several throwing knives, all held in between her fingers, she through them precisely at ReFlux, who had perceived this and begun twirling his spear once again, causing the rain to also riquce (sp?) off of it, as did the throwing knives. Once her finished this, he found Sakura once again behind him as she attempted to slit his throat from behind. Seeing her reaching arm, ReFlux released his spear momentarily and spun around under her dagger and palmed Sakura in the stomache, causing her again to flail backwards. But unseen to his eye, Sakura had thrown her fighting knife into ReFlux's lower thigh, causing him to cease his advance. He quickly attempted to retract the knife, but before he knew it, Sakura was leaping at him with her dagger again, his spear still on the ground next to him... ((please remember, my character is an expert hand to hand combatenant.))

OOC: (I beleive so, if you knew me as DoubleBDaigo.) The small wound in his side told ReFlux that it was time for him to get serious. As he flew over Sakura's head, he hughed through his nose loudly, causing him to force his entire body down upon her head, with a push from his chi. The action caught the girl off guard completely, and she dodged to the side, but not before the spear blade slashed down her left tricep, causing her to drop her knife. Suprise filled the girl's, as ReFlux saw, and used it once again to his advantage, beggining a barrage of spear thrusts at the girl. She began backing up, and leaning backwards just to avoid death in the spear head's path. As ReFlux pushed her back towards the door, the girl saw an opportunity to end his rush and back-handspringed out of the temple, into cobble stone courtyard. The rain was persistant as ever, but this didn't slow either of them down. Having sufficient distance between one another, Sakura threw a scorpion at ReFlux's face, but to her dismay, and without slowling down his attack barrage, ReFlux stab the scorpion precisely down the middle, causing it to split in half onto the ground with a small *tink*. In a split second, ReFlux ended his barrage of attacks, and slammed the spear butt down onto the ground behind him and placed his hand down in front of him. He motioned for her to come at him, with a smirk. (Sorry for the short post...)

It was lucky for Zaitoichi for it to have been raining, as it nearly drew a picture of his opponents movements in his mind. As the bandit tried to attack him once more, Ichi parried with his scabbard/walking stick, and grabbed his sword's handle underhanded, the blade pointing towards the ground. Zaitoichi blocked another of the bandit's slashing attacks with his scabbard, and spun around to dodge his short kodachi. This gave Zaitoichi a chance to attack as his blade spun around with him, and in a gale-like spin, he cut the man's-upper thigh shallowly. This caused the bandit to stagger slightly, but he returned in anger with an equal wound to Zaitoichi. He came at him with so much speed and furosity that Ichi could not parry or dodge. As he swung down his katana, Ichi blocked it with his scabbard and looked for the pincer attack of his kodachi, but instead, he just felt the cold steel peirce into his right shoulder. The immediate pain caused Ichi to leap backwards, but his returned quickly with a leaping slash in the air, as his body spun round mid-air, his scabbard came down onto the bandit's head with a hard 'crack', alerting the bandit, he rolled back to dodge the following, and much more swift katana blade attack, as he felt it's wind swipe across his face. The quickness of his attack caused Zaitoichi to injure his shoulder further, and his arm would soon become much harder to move. He feared he would have to hurry to end the match before that happened. The bandit's mind raced aswell, and he begun to get shaky after all the returning blocking and dodging. The blood trickling down between his eyes from the top of his crown wasn't helping him either. That scabbard blow nearly scattered his brains, and the bandit knew he would have to be more defensive from there on. The bandit's thoughts stopped at the words of Zaitoichi. "So... you wish to make this the day of your death...?" he said with an omenous bluff, which he hoped would work. "There would be no honor in living, if I was beat by blind coward." the bandit said with a short grin on his face. "I just hope they won't take pity on a blindman in hell!" It was then, after that word, an idea came to the bandit's mind. The bluff failed Zaitoichi, and hope was lost of a peaceful victory. The bandit rushed in and caught Zaitoichi's side with his katana, and caused a shallow wound under his ribs. The speed of his attack once again suprised Zaitoichi. It also frieghtened him, as he could no longer hear the man at all. Little did he know, that the bandit was waiting in wait in the river, for a chance to end the blind man's life... --------------------------------------------------- (Dagger's Turn)

(Just to answer previous questions, it will start out inside the large temple, then gradually lead outside into the ruins, and eventually, into the outer, surrounding forest.) Then steady-paced rain drops fell heavily on the roof of the Zhou Hu Temple. The tapping rhythm was a welcome moment of Zen for the single warrior, sitting direnctly under the Buhdda statue, facing the door. Hew wore dark yellow robes, with a thick, brown sash. His hair was long and pulled back in a ponytail and bun. A long spear sat across his knees as he sat meditatively, controlling his breath through his nostrils, he peered on into the open door as the rain fell unrelenting. Closing his eyes in a near trance, he began to notice the interruption in the rain's falling, and soon after, the clapping steps on the ground of a human body. He opened his eyes slowly to see his challenger approaching. A dark silouhette of dripping rain, she slowly approached, up until she reached the large, arched door way of the temple. Her clothing was deeply soaked, and she seemed particularly upset about this. "Please, tell me you are the warrior that challenged me..." muttered the girl, retracting a letter from her pocket that was written on rice paper. The warrior knew this to be his own. "Yes, I am your challenger. My name, is *ReFlux*... Do you wish to begin, or would your rather wait to dry your clothes off..?" the sitting warrior asked politely and solemnly. "Let's just get this over with..." the girl snarled in frustration. "smart a**." she mummered under her breath as she distracted her blades from their sheets. She held two aritculated short blades. A knife, and a longer dagger. "Just so you know the name to curse as you die, I am Sakura!" she growled as she began rushing in for the first attack. She leaped forward in an acrobatic flip at she came down onto the sitting warrior with blades downward. But they were stopped by the man's spear held high above his head. Before landing down, the girl flipped over the man once again, using her blades leverage, and tried a sweeping attack on the man's back, but before she had gotten her body in position, the man had already swung around with a quick thrust of his spears bladeless end, landed a blow on her solar plexus. This caused the female warrior to shoot back a few feet, in coughing attempts to regain her breath. This whole transaction caused the young girl to become emminsely frustrated, and heightened her battle hunger. Spinning her blades around her finger, she quickly tossed the knife down the sitting warrios path, causing his to have to roll across the floor in order to dodge. He sighed releif as he landed, but was suprised by the small stream of blood trickling down his cheek. Before he knew it, the female warrior was rushing at him with her dagger drawn for his neck. As she leaped forward for another flip attack, the man placed his spear's tip behind him in the ground, and kicked his legs hard across the floor, causing him to leap backward in the air to dodge the girls attack. She continued forward with her dagger, but ReFlux dodged her charge stab. She continued on however, and regained her knife. Flipping them artisticly between her fingers, she readied for another attack. It was time for ReFlux to become the aggresor. He readied his spear above his head, and stood wide...

Saw didn't scare the pants off me by any means, nor did it really gross me out all that much. It did make me laugh, though,
as the doctor was sawing his foot off, and Adam was screaming more than he was (even though Adam was just watching), and as soon as he finishes cutting through, he mellow's out like *snap* that...
. A few parts spooked me, like when
the nurse-guy popped out the girl's closet
, or when
the real killer just got up off the ground. Or when the cop's partner got killed by those hanging shotguns (what a way to go...)
. But at other times, it made me really laugh. I'm a tad sadistic, so forgive me. Like the two first executions of the 'Jigsaw' murderer. But I will admit that the movie probably had one of the better twists I've seen sence "The Crying Game". So, I'll give it one sawed off thumb up!

Just a notice, if anyone else wishes to challenge me before Sakura replies, I'm all for it. Bring it on, Bee-itches! (Just a joke, my fellow OBers...) But seriously, I'll fight whomever, whenever, don't care. Just ask. If this is okay, Kairi...?
-
As my first challenge, due to previous agreement, I'll challenge a random person... eni meeni meini... Sakura! I challenge you to a duel. The setting will be an ancient Buhddist Temple, which is surrounded by and protected by a bamboo forest. Its begins, and its raining... and its not a death match. Ugh... Do you post the thread, Kairi?

I notice my tendency to write cliff hangars at the end of alot of my writing. I guess I like to let people know there is hope of a sequel or something, because, I myself, don't like perminate closure, unless its done very well. Due to this, I also end alot of dialogue or paragraphs with the little poetic '...' I don't know why, it's just something I thing looks good, and gives the idea of trailing off into something new. This is also something I do in all my RPGs/Battles. Speaking of which, I do a good job of conveying motion and bodily action, and describing a persons body/clothing, but I tend to leave out a the deeper details of the surroundings they are in, something I'm currently trying to fix. I guess those are my writing quirks.

Good ideas. Fighting Style = Main Style/Chakra Focus I did forget to include Jutsu techniques. That would really help I think. But yeah, it would be a good idea to take baby steps. Well... it could start out with each of the characters like finishing up their last genin assignment. Then they hear from their sensei about the Chuunin exams. They take it from their and go into the whole Exam without knowledge of what it is and go from their. After a long test (5-8 pages), the mysterious invaders (a new Hidden Village [Land of Waves Maybe?] or a samurai clan who hate shinobi, or just a corrupt existing village) start coming in and attacking Konoha Village (and possibly the other villages). The Villages blaim each other and go to war. Only the Chuunin who where in the exam trust each other and know that the other villages are innocent, ban together, and try to find the real culprit. Thats my idea, but if you have any better, please, please tell me.

Or we could, again, go in the direction of Kill Adam and have only certain characters involved in certain chapters, so things don't become jumbled and confused, aswell as having a posting order. Yes, your right about sign up cuts, but thats no big sweat. And as to their being god-modding, we can put a limit on the amount of jutsu's a single person can have. Since their only genins, they'll have a limit on how much thay can have. Possibly a maximum of 3 or 4. We could also find a Naruto web site for Jutsu and character reference to have as reference material. But yeah, if your up for it, then I am, most definetly. The sign up order could possibly be in the order of like Name: Age: Gender: Village: Main Style: (Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, or Genjutsu) Chakra Focus: (speed, strenght, illusion, weapons, or magics) Physical Appereance: (including height, weight, body frame, eyes and hair) Biography: (this'll have to impress) Team Mates: (since all the members will have atleast two partners, it might be good we either tell them to choose their partners, or choose them for them for them by village... I don't know...) It might also be cool to have someone...(Retri) make special banners and wall papers for the RPG...? (Hope I'm not getting to ahead of myself...)

Actually, I had an idea for a Naruto RPG quite some time ago called Seeds of Tomorrow. It was about the Shinobi wars way back before the Nine Tailed Fox Demon attacked the Hidden Villages. But recently, me and my freind had started a Naruto RPG (pen and paper), dissassociated with Naruto's Main characters except for some of them being teachers or proctors. It would start off as everyone being in a Shinobi cell after they had finished a few missions as Genin's and then going into the Chuunin Selection Exams. Then during them, or shortly after, some form of invading force threatens Kohona and possibly a few other Hidden Villages, and the new Chuunin's have to ban together and fight alongside the higher shinobi. A horrible twist, a few bad judgement moves later, things turn for the worst, and the villages are left in a near World War, remenescent of the Shinobi Wars. Like, are confused as to who is attacking who, blame each other, attack each other, and then only the chuunin from all around who were actually in the chuunin exam understand what is really going on. This would all happen in the actual story of course. But this sort of thing would require a strong 'dungeon' master and quite a few NPC's. But if anyone's up for it, I think two or three members such as me, Xander, and anyone else interested (Retribution?) could handle it. It'll just need good orginization, planning, and possibly a chapter based system (ala Kill Adam) and it could actually turn out pretty great... hell, excellent even. Kinda gets me excited.

Anime The Official Otaku Boards Top 50 Anime Series: Voting Thread
Zen replied to EVA Unit 100's topic in Otaku Central
1. Furi Kuri/Fooly Cooly/FLCL: the best animation I've ever seen in an anime series, despite being too short for my liking, Fooly Cooly is my favorite anime ever, because it blends in inside jokes about my other favorite anime, gives pulse-pounding, super fast and fluid action, beautiful animation, and really humor. Also, sword-fighting with electrical guitars is just really fun to watch. 2. Mobile Suit Gundam: 0080 War in a Pocket: my favorite Gundam series, which is also unfortunatley short, takes place around the end of the MS Gundam original series on an outer space colony where a little boy comes to find out his older half-brother is one of the Zeon Zaku II pilots that crashed in the colony at the hand of the Federation. Alot of drama and plot twists later make for a great ending battle. The animation was really good, and I loved the realistic mecha design (as real as a humanoid robot can get), and the opening sequence in the show is probably the best robot fight I've ever seen. The ending nearly made me cry, but I'm a trooper... 3. Read or Die: The Movie/OVA: not only one of the most action packed anime I've seen, but probably one of the most creative (right next to FLCL), Read or Die felt like someone was massaging my eyes as I watched the wonderfully smooth animation and fluid fight scenes (not to mention entertaining), I really loved this movie (its a movie, it was two hours long, so there). I particularly loved the fight scene of Deep and Paper vs. Genjo. That was amazing. 4. The Animatrix: this little miniseries (if you could call it that) really rejuvinated my love of the original Matrix movie. It also did a really good job of building up the mythology of whole universe. To me, some where better than others. Animation would definetley have to go to "Second Renaissance", but art style is a tie between "Kid's Tale" and "Detective Story". For straight up story, it would to me, probably go to "World Record". That was just a really cool one. I really liked this. 5. Full Metal Alchemist: its made me [adult swim]'s b*tch all over again. Smooth and fluid story telling coupled with really nice animation and character design really makes me happy. Full Metal Alchemist makes me happy. It has some very cool action scenes and a deep mythology through out. FMA has probably the coolest, most lovable characters I've seen in a while. I mean, who can't love Roy Mustang? The delightful state alchemists who turns the air into napalm bombs? Or Armstrong, the big lovable, steroid-ish guy who punches... things... Anyway, FMA is really cool, and got me back into anime after a while of leave from it.... happy. 6. Cowboy Bebop: the first anime that I began remembering episode names to and began digging into the characters psyche. It showed me how deep anime could be (and how much more deeper it could be). Being an avid Bruce Lee fan, I instantly fell in love with Spike's character, and the whole 'wild west galaxy' was a cool idea to me. CB probably had the greatest music I've ever heard in anime, causing me to hum both of its theme songs out of boredom, I really, really love the show...The movie was great, also! (also, I can't wait for Samurai Champloo to come out, so I can see what else the creators are doing.) 7. Trigun: A really, really fun show. Not the best animation in the world, but the story and character design took me away into the planet Gunsmoke. The western feel gives a certain nostalgia. Its like watching "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly", but with super guns and mutated people! I am a particular fan of Nicholas D. Wolfwood, the eccentric preist (thats a good thing right now) who totes the coolest weapon I've seen sense Akira (gotta love the laser rifle). Deep story telling, and a deep philosophical message in this one. 8. Outlaw Star: took me away from my fascination of Dragon Ball Z, and made me a permanent fan. I still have my taped episodes. I love this show and the whole backing behind it. It predated Cowboy Bebop for me, and had a really cool sci-fi/fantasy flavor to it (with the Tao masters and all). I still, still love that little robot Gillium, and Asia Clan Clan... and Jim... But most of all, Harry McDougle! That was the first villain in an anime that I actually felt sorry for. The guy was really messed up, but man, didn't I feel for him and his longing for Melfina... 9. Tenchi Muyo: the show that got me into romantic comedy. Sort of... It made me appreciate romance in anime alot more than I used to. It had a really fun basis and some really lovable characters. I was a fan of Mihoshi, Washu, Ryoko, Kyone, the whole bunch really! Except Ayeka... But ya gotta admit, Grandpa was a hussla pimp! That guy got to know all the girls before Tenchi could even really talk to them... I guess he just had a way with the ladies. (Ah, cat-rabbits turning into space ships... good times... good times...) 10. Dragon Ball Z: Don't Hate! Almost all of you know that this show turned you into an anime fan, and opened the door for the rest of the great stuff out today. Though I don't really watch it anymore (the games are fun though), I will admit that I love this show for what it did for anime and me aswell. And I'll admit, back in the day, watching Green Mutants pound on a little kid and his buddies was good entertainment. (also, gotta love the Vegeta...) ---------------------------------------- I know what your saying... "But ReFlux, all of the shows have aired on Cartoon Network..." well, folks. I don't have the ends to pay 30 bones for an anime DVD that I don't even know is good. I have bought, with much satisfaction, the Ruroini Kenshin Season One DVDs and Cowboy Bebop DVD Vol. 1. I'd rather preveiw something before I waste my money on it. 11. Akira 12. Hellsing 13. The Slayers 14. Naruto 15. Mobile Suit Gundam: 008th MS Team -
Zaitoichi heard the wind-slicing sound of the blade lunging towards him, and made the quickest move he could to the side, kicking up dirt in his movement. In the movement, he ended it with an unseeable slash with his blade that sliced the arm of the attacker's robe, causing the long peice of cloth to fall off at the shoulder and onto the ground. The attacker gave a quick glance of astonishment at the blind man's skill with a blade, and looked on to see that his ears were rotating on the side of his head, picking up any sound made. The attacker's thoughts were quickly ceased as he leaped upward, coming down onto Zaitoichi with a dual-slashing motion with his kodachi and katana. Hearing the leaping motion from the ground and the slight fluttering of his opponents remaining clothing, Ichi leaped back just enough to avoid getting his crown sliced in half. He felt a small cut on his forhead and blood trickling from the wound. Soon after this, Zaitoichi rolled to the side to barely miss an attack from behind made by another attacker. "You two, listen... I am just a blind traveler, accompanying a freind on a short journey... surely you gentlemen have enough dignity to allow us passage through this area... I wish no trouble.", Zaitoichi spoke in his low, ominous voice, but still with an air of politness. "Ha, the only thing we show dignity to is money, taking it from greedy slobs like you! Hand it over, and maybe we'll let you live!" said one of the attackers from the left with a young sounding voice. The other attacker grunted to himself at the right. The came the sound of a drawn blade from behind him, Zaitoichi knew this to be his partner. "Please forgive me, but me and my partner cannot allow that..." Zaitoichi said, sliding forth in such a suprising slash, he attacked an off guard bandit who's breathing had gotten too loud, this time, he smelt the blood that he drew from the young man's bare forearm. It was a shallow gash, that slightly loosened the man's grip on his weapon. "You son of a dog! I'll show you who you're messing with!" the young one barked, jetting at Ichi with great speed, something told by his quick footsteps. Zaitoichi only had time to place his blade in front of the attacks to guard his throat. The attacker quickly slid under to slash at Ichi's shins with his blade, only to cut the air under his feet. Zaitoichi then came down with the scabbard of his sword onto the bandit, but narrowley missed the top of his skull as the attacker dodged quickly. This caused Ichi to slide back into a defensive stance with the blade held at his shoulder, aiming precisely in the direction of the enemy. The distant sound of clinging blades told Ichi that his partner was defending himself competently, so he decided to focus on the one at hand... (Hope thats good enough. Playing a blind character only allows for a small amount of description in ones surroundings.)

Good, good. I'm liking what I'm seeing. Kitty, Anarchy, and x kakashi x are all definetly in. Just a little while longer, maybe a few more sign ups, and we can start this up.

I watch G4Tech TV more than I actually play video games, so yeah, I'm a fan. I just really dig watching the hosts talk about stuff that I can actually comment on too. One of my favorite shows as of current is "Attack of the Show", more for entertainment value than getting tech info (but I love "It Came From EBay" and "The Feed" and stuff like that). I mean, the hosts screw up so much, its just fun to watch, it seems like something that would happen if me and my buds put together a TV show, save the computers. I also love X Play, particularly enjoy Adam Sesslers commentaries during reveiws. The guy makes such great comaprisons and metaphors, I can't help but to laugh. Icons, is another show I love. I particularly enjoyed their peice on Frank Miller and Mortal Kombat. I do miss "Pulse" alot, but not that much. I wish they'd update Arena, that was okay fun to watch. I also like their show G4TV.com, which I watch as often as I can. Two words, Laura Foy. I do wish they would take advantage of the national fighting game and FPS tournaments that happen around the country. I think it would be really cool to see the greatest Street Fighter players in action. That would be something I'd watch. Or having a show like the ones on AMC where the greatest movie directors come together and talk about their stuff, but replaced with game makers. Eh? Eh? Well, anyway, I love G4Tech TV, more for the gaming than the computer stuff. And I watch it whenever I get a chance. I love this channel.

Okay, if possible, I'd really like to get some Bloody Angels in the sign ups, maybe a cop or two, and maybe a Spook or Limbo but thats not really that important. So far, good, good, especially Skye and Kitty. Thats what I'm looking for. O-Ren, your character is okay so far, a little too oriental and in need of a Bio, but okay. Lyuann, you just need to fix up your spelling errors and take "The Docks" off of your affiliation, and thats it. Thanks guys (or gals...), and keep 'em comin'!

As you may know then, at one point in the manga, Knives actually causes
Legato to collapse into himself (broken bones of everykind) just for saying "Attack!".
Also, lets not forget the sadistic stuff Knives pulled while still on the SEEDS ship.
I mean, he master minded a plan to get a guy not only to kill a man who was bullying Knives and Vash, but also kill his own girlfreind in cold blood. And he almost go the guy to kill Rem.
And then, even though Legato did get Vash
to kill him (that sounds a bit strange coming out), Knives was the man who actually got Legato into such a state of servitude to actually seek his own death.
Legato is just insane, and because of this, does whatever he is told to do by Knives, Knives is not only perfectly sane, but he is genuinly evil, something, I'm sure, Legato was not, seeing as how he saw following Knives' orders as more of a relegious duty than an act committed by himself. Thats just my opinion...

Name: ReFlux (or Sky, whichever you prefer) Age: ? (looks late twenties) Place of Origin: Bronze Age China Appearance: Occupation: Zhou Assassin/Chess Master Body: Lean and muscular, his long robes do not reveal is cut, muscular body. He is around 5'10" in height and 169 pounds. He uses his robes to fool his opponent into stabbing nothing more than empty clothe. His legs are the longest part of his body, allowing him to perform great leaps and strides in the air, aswell as being secondary weapons when using his spear. Fighting Style: Uses a flamboyant and precise spear style which not only uses the blade in stabbing, slashing, and swooping motions, but also utilizes the shaft in wide range spinning attacks. His use of Chi allows inhuman feats of power and agility, aswell as a near human-like bond with his weapon. He uses his surroundings in any way he possibly can as a weapon or defensive item. Aswell as being a legendary spearmen, he has expert Wu Shu training and can at any time utilize his legs as lethal weapons while still using his spear, or can go into a full empty-hand combat system, which is nearly as perfect as his spear-style. This is why he is one of the most reknowned assassins in his kingdom. Weapons: His spear is called the "Silver Sky", because of its white horse-hair tip and head of sharpened silver. The shaft of the spear is extremely flexible, but only when force is applied correctly to it, as the weilder can. (Its in the picture above.) Skills: As well as being a master of the spear, ReFlux is also a master of Zhou Wu style gung fu, and is also master of his bodies chi, enabling him to perform many inhuman feats, such as floating through the air like a leaf drifting in the wind, and taking control of his spear, even without his body touching it. It is said that his ultimate technique projects his chi from without his body into a crushing force. Blade God: I'm always open. Do tell if more is needed. *cracks knuckles* Been a long, long time... Hope I still got it in me...

That really went beyond my expectations. Thanks alot. I hope I get a few more posts like that. Oh, as an extra message, if anyone wants to take the role of Jaguar feel free, because he will be taking a large role. But if not, then I will take his role on the side. And if anyone is wondering, I didn't include a personality slot because I wish for your characters to show their persona in your posts.

Well, their were alot of crazy things going on in that show. Like dudes surrounding themselves with gigantic gun turrets, or creating bombs out of the air. I mean, Scar is a pretty bad-a** dude, but he's not evil, he's just has a strong caused mission that he means to accomplish by any force necessary. I wasn't around for the other thread, so I didn't get a chance. But back to Scar, he's the
last few of his race. And the massacre of his race was committed by state Alchemists, so he does have a just reason for his vendetta to accomplish. And he's basically okay with Ed anyways, as of now.
Soo... that seems to disqualify him.

I'll tell ya what needs a sequel. Cybernator. It was an old, giant robot platformer on the SNES. It had Gundam-esque storyline and art style, it even had an anime story panneling. You had the option of using a machine gun, melee punching, rockets, or whatever else you could pick up. It had alot of cool actions, like you could hover up with your boosters, you could slide across screen, it had some really massive boss battles for its time, and it had really cool space battles where there was a jet pack on your back and your flying through meteors and stuff, fighting enemies. The graphics were really detailed for its time aswell, you even had little ground people shooting at you that you could kill. This was a really fun game. I always wished they'd make a remake for this game on PS2 or X-Box or whatever. I loved this game and it really deserves a sequel. I think the only reason it didn't get one was because the game wasn't all that famous... I can dream though... I can dream...
