For one thing... Where's the Knives?! I voted Legato Bluesummers because he is an extremely cold, twisted, complex, and ruthless villain. He does everything in his power to spite, slow down, and torment Vash and everyone involved with him. He not only kills ruthlessly, but with a cause, which shows his complexity. He kills the guilty on spot, but has decided to post-pone the death of the innocent. Aswell, he kills his own allies, executing, or ordering the execution of all the Gung Ho Guns who fail. Legato isn't the master mind behind anything, but really a lacky himself of Knives, who is actually the ultimate villain in the show. I prefer the manga version of Legato more than the anime, mainly because he makes a guy rip his own heart out, and he also is eventually
horribly mangled by Knives, and continues following him.
Their is evidently something very wrong with his psyche, and psychos make great bad guys. I would have voted for Scar, but he's actually not a villain, but more of an antagonist.

5 Most under rated and over rated bands or artists
Zen replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Noosphere
Overrated: Fabulous: plain and simple, the guy has a dry flow and tacky rhymes. He is ruining way to many good R&B songs with his stail rapping and I really don't like how he claims to be a real talkin' MC, when most of his songs (save 'Breath') are just party tunes without a message and he repeatedly talks about his cars, girls, jewels, and non-apparent 'skills'. Hatebreed/Slipknot/etc.: yeah, lets all just scream and growl into a microphone and call it Metal... (sorry metalheads out there, I just don't get it.) What happened to Ozzy and Sabbath and Motorhead?! Jessie McCartny: the guy looks to be shy one human soul... Good Charlotte/Simple Plan: if those guys use the word 'Punk' one more time in describing their musical style, I beleive I will begin tearing the hair from my scalp. T.I.: he really needs to find his place. He acts a bit to arrogant for my tastes and acts to above everyone else to even give props to those that let him through like Ludacris and Lil' Flip, whom he started beef with. I just don't like the guy... and sampling a Jay-Z song that came out last year for his own single shows his lack of originality. Underrated: Mos Def: this guy has talent. When I heard 'Ghetto Rock', I thought rap fans would eat it up. That was just a really, really great single, and it should have been bigger than it was. I really hope the guy gets the respect he deserves real soon. The Darkness: I really liked these guys. I wish their songs had been bigger, there sounded really reminded me of Queen, who I love, and I thought their vintage style of glam rock would've been bigger. Oh well... Mobb Deep: the guys have been around for a while and are still young. I love their songs and their whole sound. I wish they had more singles. I remember loving 'Shook Ones', that was a real great song. 'Twisted' was a real good single too, and should have been bigger, if only people had listened to the lyrics a little more... Wu Tang Clan: they were big for a while, but they kinda sold out when they split up. And loosing O.D.B. was a big hit, but I hope they get back together real soon and make another album, cuz they were great. The Invisbl Skratch Piklz: DJ music doesn't get alot of love now a-days, but these guys are considerably the greatest turntablist of all time, and yet nobody but hardcore hip hop fans and a few video gamers know about them. These guys are excellent. Note: the current Beastie Boys DJ, MixMasterMike, was/is a member. -
Name: Zaitoichi (just, Zaitoichi) Age: ? (seems to be in his mid thirties.) Relation to Partner: Zaitoichi was asked to accompany the rich man, an old freind of his, on his venture into the dangerous area. As reward, he was given a new kimono and split skirt, an item that he reluctnantly received. He prefers to be called Ichi. Fighting Style: Being blind since the age of eight, Zaitoichi was never the less raised to become the dangerous swordsman he is today. Learning from an early age to allow his senses of hearing and touch guide him, aswell as smell in some cases, cheap eye tricks obviously don't work on Zaitoichi and due to this, he can sense even the quitest assailent approaching. His sword-style is quick, decisive, calm, and very, very precise without a waisted stroke. To those that know him, he is feared or respected. To those that don't, he is the last face they saw. Weapons: A single, katana blade disguised in his wooden walking stick, it has a short handle without a visible grip, Zaitoichi has none the less adapted his fighting style to compencate for this. Skills: Aswell as being a very capable swordsmen, Zaitoichi makes a living off of being a masseur, applying his trade to anyone willing to pay a small fee. Zaitoichi is also a master of Jujutsu, but this is common amongst samurai. Ichi is a very freindly person, always willing to help one in need, he'd rather resolve his conflicts with out the use of violence, which often gets him into troubling perdicaments. (any samurai flick buffs will know this guy...)

I might seem like a bit of a panzy, but I face these things quite a bit, so I guess I have a little courage! Oh, and I'm also scurred of rollercoasters... (man I'm a wuss...)

Rated PG-13 for Intense Violence, Drug and Alcohol Use, Sexual Content, and Language. (No one cares though...) I was awoken by the boyish voices of children above my head... "See, I told you! Look, there it is!", one started out, clicking my conciousness back on. "Holy crap! You were tellin' the truth! Whoa...", an older sounding boy came in. "Of course, why would I lie about?" "Man... He stinks! How long do ya think he's been here?" "I'm not sure... I found him a few minutes ago, then I came and got,", I began hacking and coughing uncontrollably, but instead of air coming out of my throat, water was forced out of my lungs like an unclogged drain," Y-Yo....-YAAAAAH!" "Holy Crap!!! He's ALLIIIIIIVE!!!" the boys screamed loudly into the distance, I heard their feet slapping across the ground in a panicked hurry. I coughed again, this time I felt moist air come through my throat. With one more cough, I was able to open my swollen eyes. The first thing I saw was the grey and foggy sky of the desolate area. I tried breathing through my nose, but I couldn't, nor could I smell anything around, telling me my nose was broken. I groaned as I lifted my head up from hard ground I was laying on, and took a look around my surroundings to see the close tyde lapping at my limp legs. I attempted to lift my left arm in an attempt to lift myself up, but I instantly choked in excruciating pain. I looked over to my arm to find my arm disfigured, the palm of my hand facing forward, like it shoudln't. My elbow had been broken at the joint. I tried my right arm to find it in less pain, but pain none the less. I lifted myself up shakily and looked around better. I knew where I was... the Apachee River on the outskirts of Los Diablos. Then it all hit me like a swift kick to the face. That bastard! That damned, dirty, rotten son of a b*tch... That spineless *****, traitor assed, back turning bastard. Diego Juarez, "Jaguar" to those that knew him better. That stupid kid who I took into my crew when he wasn't nothing. That bastard that I talked "The Boss" into letting the little ***** into "the Devils" when we were in the middle of the war. That bastard who I let get to close to me. That bastard that I trusted... Jaguar. He had called me out to the dock to talk over assisination plans. I should've seen it coming. It might have been the worst mistake I ever made. Of course I came out by myself, like a real rookie. Then I was only packing my beretta... I come out at midnight, and when I come there I find him standing at the dock. With that damned smile on his face, like dog snarling at you, the bastard was just a busy chuckling to himself. Then I turn around to find a damned "Angel"hit squad behind me. Before I knew it, I was floating down the Apachee... The bastard had been a "Bloody Angel" mole the whole damned time. Damn it! The bastard got me good... I gritted my teeth and I gathered myself onto my feet, and looked into the grey sky. Needless to say, I wasn't gonna let it go that way... Los Diablos Welcome to gritty, grimey, crime-infested Los Diablos. Nicknamed the "Devil's City", Los Diablos is the mecca of crime in the western U.S. Complete with drug dealers, shady gamblers, corrupt authority, and the main attraction, gangsters. The two largest and most dangerous being "The Black Devils" from South Point and "The Bloody Angels" from Uptown. The gangs have been in conflict for most their existance in the city, both fighting over power ofthe middle ground and beyond, at the center of city's six way intersection, and partially out of grudge between the gang's bosses. It has basically become tradition for the two gangs to be at war, and is no longer taken in as a resolvable matter by city authority, who are paid off and bribed anyways. Los Diablos has become a constant battle ground between city's gangs and it a highly dangerous place to live. Only roughest, toughest, and smartest survive. As a resident of Los Diablos, you are to take the role of a major character in this conflict. Be you a member of the two main gangs, "The Black Devils" or "The Bloody Angels", the cities corrupt police deptartment, the LDPD, or the smaller gangs, "The Spooks from the lower east side, who are allied to "The Devils or The Limbo Boys from the upper west side, who are allied to "The Angels". Its from here you take a hand in the events of the war between Devils and Angels. Locations Los Diablos: a huge, industrial city with too many grimey back streets, ally ways, and more than one red light district. Lost Eden: an Uptown bar where the Angels take refuge and use as a main base. Devil's Cantina: The Devil's main hang out in South Point. A seedy bar where more than just martini's and beers are sold. The Haunted House: an old abandoned building where The Spooks take shelter. Purgatory: a west side night club, unofficially ran by The Limbo Boys. Precinct 6: the HQ of the LDPD, where many a crooked cop reinforce their 'justice'. Ground Zero: also known as the Six points, where the city's main streets come together in the center. This is the area that all the gangs are struggling to take control. The Docks: on the outskirts of town near the lower west side, the Docks have a large population of dead snitches, rats, moles, cowards, and unlucky wiseguys. Sign Ups Name: Nickname: (if any) Age: Gender: (I fully support female characters in any role.) Affiliation: (of any of the different groups) Physical Description: (be detailed, it will tell alot of your characters personality and story) Biography: (why your character is doing what they do, why they joined whatever they joined, where the grew up in the city, and all that jazz, but please, please make 'em good.)(include race, height, weight) Specialites: (guns, explosives, pocket knives, driving, assassination, whatever, but please no ninjas and stuff, you can use martial arts and bladed weapons, but no master ninja stuff, please.) Name: Michael Lorenzo Nickname: Slick Mick Age: 27 Gender: Male Affiliation: The Black Devils Physical Description: Mick is a tall, stalky man around 6'1", weighing in at a slim 164 pounds. He is of sicilian heritage with a smoothed olive tone to his skin. His sheeny. black hair is always slicked back neatly, a characteristic that would earn him a nickname. His eyes are a glassy shade of hazel and are set evenly below his brow, and have a perpetual laid back look to them. His nose is roman and gives weight to his face, it is a slight curved do to the many times it had been broken. Strangley, however, there is not a single scar on his head. He is usually seen with a lit cigarette placed in the corner of his mouth and a coin inbetween his fingers, usually being circumnavigated. He wears black or gray clothing, a trademark of the Black Devil gang. His favorite dress item is a shabby leather jacket, ending mid thigh, and always unbuttoned. Under this he usually wears a pair of black dress pants with gray pinstripes and a solid gray under shirt neatly tucked in, a pair of thick, black, ankle boots hug his feet tightly. Oh his neck, he wears a short, white gold chain with a crucifix swaying on his solar plexus. Mick also carries an old fashioned lighter in his pocket, chromed and engraved with a cartoony devil's head, surrounded by biker flames. Mick's prescense is a cold one, usually queting a loud mouthed room when he enters for short periods of time when he enters. His character is that of a lion, quick, decisive, and always obeyed. His appearence gives off away his leadership qualities. Biography: Michael Lorenzo was born in St. George's Hospital in South Point, Los Diablos. His mother died of birth complications, so he would be raised up by his father, Geoff Lorenzo, better known as "The Grave", he was the right-hand man of "The Boss", the leader of The Black Devils. He was also his brother. When Michael was only eleven year old, his father would be killed in a violent drive-by hit made by out of territory Angels members. From then on, Michael's uncle, "The Boss" himself, would raise him. From then on, Michael was shown the ropes first hand of "The Devils", a part of life his father tried to shelter the young boy from. Michael was quick to pick up the tricks of the trade. Money laundering, drug dealing, hits, gambling, prostitution, the works. By the age of seventeen, Michael was a competent drug smuggler and hitman, gaining the attention of his superiors and the unwanted attention of the rival gang responsible for his father's death. At the age of 21, Michael became the block boss of 31st Street in South Point. This was an emmence honor to someone his age, and it put a bad taste in the mouth of the older bosses. But they soon came to respect the young man as they saw that his crew was raking in more money for the gang than any of the others. When Michael was twenty-five and had earned his distinct nick-name, Slick Mick, he met a young hispanic kid named Diego Juarez, who he nick named Jaguar due to his inability to pronounce his last name. Mick liked the young guy, who was the closest thing to a real freind Mick ever had. In the next two years, they would grow close, and Mick would shape a rare bond of trust with the young man, even going as far as to let him take care of his business on certain occasions and intrusting him with information only he was supposed to know. One late afternoon, Jaguar requested conference with Mick at the Docks. Mick reached the location with trust that Jaguar would have something to say. When he arrived, he stood their smirking, something that somewhat alarmed Mick, as it seemed he was looking through him. Mick turned around to see a gang of Angels packing bats and chains and staring at him alone. Mick instantly knew it was a set up, it had all been a set up. When everything turned out, Mick didn't have any real freinds. All he had were enemies and allies, and from then on, he wouldn't trust any of 'em. But unfortunatley for Jaguar, he still beleives that Mick is dead. Mick was far from it... Specialites: Mick is a dangerous man with whatever he is given, but he prefers himself a sawed off, pistol-grip 12-gauge shotgun, backed up by his lucky bowie knife and a 9mm Beretta Pistol. It is also said that Mick's lighter has a special trick to it, but nobody really knows...

Bloodsport II and III really, really killed me... The first one with Van Damme was excellent, I really liked that movie and then I checked out III (which I didn't expect much from in the first place) and I couldn't sit through 3 minutes of it with out wanting to change the channel because the movie was so corny... man... I mean, ninja's attacking a casino... and then the waiter comes out with mediocre Kung Fu and dispatches all of them.... really! Mortal Kombat 2 sucked pretty bad... I bet poor Johnny Cage's actor thought it would be his big acting role seeing as how he was one of the main characters in the first flick... five minutes and BAM!
Neck broken by Shau Khan...
And then the only returning star to play in the movie was Lou Kang! Even Johnny Cage's actor was a different guy! And really... Buffalo Bill from "Joe Dirt" playing Shau Khan... man. Oh, and Scorpion was in the movie... for like one scene to
kidnap Kitana and then he was gone for the rest of the MOVIE!!! SCORPION! Freaking Cyrax had a bigger role than him, and he was a robot!
That really dissapointed me... oh, and that grease ball Cenataur! Dear GOD!

My list has been revised sense the release of a few recent films, but still retains my taste. Pulp Fiction: Its one of those movies that you either love or hate... aparently I loved it. I just really like the movies pacing, the way that it was out of order so that each and every scene seemed dynamic in its own right, and also seeing how the story slowly unfolded and connected all together. It was Quentin Tarantino's big, big hit in '94, the really big one, that made him an A-List Director, but he never lost that indie film edge. The music in the movie was very interesting also. Using no original score what-so-ever, but still, the songs still seemed right. But the best thing about the movie, it's great one-liners. "Get the Gimp..." Classic Moment in Film! Troy It takes its spot on my list. Just the sure grandeur of the movie really made me love it. Although it didn't really keep itself true to Homer's "Illiad" in full form.
Such as Ajax being killed so early on, when actually he died after Achilles, and the fact that Achilles was in the Trojan Horse, a ploy created because of his death.
But still, the film had great dramatic effect and those fight scenes where just awsome! And Achilles' little special jump and twist attack, awsome!
Especially when he took out that big, giant monster of a man at the films beggining!
Just alot of really cool moments in that movie. Game of Death One of those movies held by alot of controvercy. It was released six years after it's star's death, and then fabricated with alot of doubles and a highly bastardized story line. I had to watch the Bruce Lee documentary "Warrior's Journey" to see the films actual, uncut greatness. Beleive me, the fight scenes are not only great, but very realistic. Bruce's ability to meld realism and impressive fight scenes really come together nicely. Aswell, the movie's story was created from Lee's own personal philosophy on martial arts, which is one I highly respect... Honorable Mention: The Last Samurai Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Scratch (the DJ Documentary) Lets all not forget that Christmas time classic, A Christmas Story! A classic comedy film, just set during Christmas, still, a great movie to watch anytime.

I've been with my special sweetheart, Kayla, for about 10 months, and its beenGREAT! Boy, O boy did I not know what I was missing with that whole 'consistant love' thing! I met her, swooned her, and I just can't get enough of my lovely lady! When whomever said that you know when your in love was right, cuz I have to be in love. I've given up any free weekends for the past year to her. So I guess we aren't getting tired of each other anytime soon. Love is a beautiful thing... *swoon*.

Yeah, it would probably not be as good as it should (or could) be. But if they did it right, it would be pretty mind trippy. Like a more mature "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". But I can still dream... Johnny Depp as Dream, Sandra Bullock as Death. It would work out well with the right people, but probably wouldn't... I can still dream though. Oh, and another thing... Where's Venom in the Spider-Man movies?! We all know Hob-Goblin will be the next baddie, but when are they gonna give Venom his time in the spotlight... that would make me a much bigger Spider-Man film fan.

Yo, I'm not trying to take anyones place or anything, but if you guys ever need a space filled, I'm always interested and open for a part. I tried signing up, but wasn't picked, so I'd be glad to fill up any empty spaces. Flux

Little Kid: Okay, off with the clothes... Fox: *sigh* This is the third time this week...

The game "XIII" by far! I spent so much time on this game, the storyline constantly building up suspense and intense action, and then at the end of it all,
it gives me a gotdamned CLIFFHANGER!!! Ubisoft better be planning to release a freaking sequel, or I'm flying to France and burning the building down... Or I could just find the graphic novel...
Anyways, it was a good game, cuz the ending made me so mad... This is mainly because I didn't want to stop playing. So that proves the point.

LP/JZ to me, was a great idea and was carried out great. Jay-Z, my favorite MC of all time, a Linkin Park, one of my more liked rock bands coming together was like a dream to me. It like "The Best of Both Worlds", but without the alleged sex-offender! But seriously, this was a pretty good idea. Although I really wish they would have included a few more than six tracks. I mean, I was going threw the "Blueprint: The Gift" album and was shocked they didn't do a version of "Takeover" (that little battle track Jay recorded, using nothing but a bass guitar and drum beat) which would've sounded great with Linkin Park playing for him. Aswell, why didn't they do a "Breaking the Habit" remix? They could've used "Moment of Clarity" from the "Black Album" and made a great song. I loved the CD, I just wish they would've done a little more with the potential they had. Oh, and if your an LP fan and don't like Hip Hop (or Jay-Z for that matter), thats a bit heretical, seeing as how almost all of their songs include an MC and DJ, both influenced in style by artists such as Jay-Z. Just my thought... P.S.- "I ordered a frapachino! Where's my f---ing frapachino?!"

I think the story of Captain America would be pretty cool. His whole background is pretty interesting. The origin tale would be like a comic-book/war movie combined. The Sub-Mariner would be pretty cool also, although I don't know much about the fellow, what I have seen of him in action would look pretty bad on screen. Maybe, if they do it right, The Sandman by Neil Gaiman... but he's basically vowed not to create a movie of his comics, so thats a lost dream... What I'm dying to see right now is an X-Men movie that involves some bad-***** sentinels and GAMBIT (for Goodness' Sakes!) he's like the coolest dude in the X-Men, save Wolverine. Also, I really would like to see a Green Arrow movie. Thats a pretty cool comic. There are some rumors of a Luke Cage/Iron Fist coming out in the future, but thats just what I read in "Wizard". Would make for a pretty cool movie, though. P.S.- Lets see some Black Panther, man!

Oh Ho! "Venture Bros.", what a great show that I love so much! Parodying everything from Johnny Quest to the Marvel Superhero Universe (gotta love that Fantastic Four spoof with the mentally challenged Thing and the painful plitted Human Torch). Man I love that show. I was pretty dissapointed at the shows end, I was hoping for the continous, open-ended play that Family Guy has, but then again, that last line was pretty funny though...
Over the shadow of dead Venture Brothers;"Alright, lets get their clothes and get outta here...
My favorite episode was probably either the one where Brock Samson (the super-badass bodyguard who reminds me of a blonde Solid Snake) loses his license to kill and has to retake the entrance exam into the his branch of the goverment. To great lines from that are: Hank: "Why do you even wanna be a secret agent boy!? Do you think you have what it takes?!" Brock: "Hank, seriously, after I get my license back I'm aloud to kill you..." Hank: "Oh, sorry, Brock." and Brock: "You boys need to get to bed, you father's gonna be home late... (steps back to see Dean dressed up as an Indian-Man slave) W-why would you dress like that?" Another great episode was when Dean got testicular torsion... oh, and the yard-sale episode, and the very first episode ("He Got Speedy!"), and the Monarchs court trial, oh and where Hank got infected with the exploding serum and Race Bannon died by getting hit by a plane that he caused to wreck... yeah, that was a great one... Its apparent now that I have a never dying love for the show, and as the caterpillar Dr. Venture would say, "I feel... compelled..."

READ OR DIE had an excellent opening sequence. It literally blew me away with its instantly amazing animation and unrivaled coolness in the Egines power. The White House blows up, President 'Bush' wets himself, and a crazy, eletrical samurai clone mistakes it all for the public library. Now thats a way to catch someones attention! Cowboy Bebop has a good one too. The instant set off of colorful animation and an up beat and fast-paced Jazz orchestra really catches you. That one thing I enjoy consistantly threw the series, it's music.

For a very long time, Koei's line of Dynasty Warriors games has been a favorite. DW4 and DW4XL have particularly been favorites of mine and my freinds. We have basically turned it into an obsession where there are several inside jokes ranging from Lu Bu's carpet too my freind being struck down by enemy corpses sent into the air by me. I was just pondering if any other members of the OBs have any favorite whatsits about Dynasty/Samurai Warriors. Why you like it, what news you have on it, who's your favorite character? The last news I heard for the series was the DW4 expansion, Empires, which is supposed to be great. With a more in depth Officer Edit system and Empires mode, which is like Xtreme Mode on DW4XL, but more in depth, and you don't lost everything if you die. Does anyone know when its supposed to be hitting stores?

Anime Question RE: Naruto / ninjas-in-general...
Zen replied to tattoi nobori's topic in Otaku Central
Alot of the time, Ninja and Samurai run that way because they are keeping their hands on their weapons for a quick draw as they run towards or away from their opponent, and if they stood straight and ran while doing this, one could very easily loose their balance. Another thing is if they are holding a forearm in front of their face, they may be guarding wilst concealing an attack. Atleast thats my perspective. It also may be a way for animators to give more of a since of speed by extending the body's distance and aerodynamics in some way. I've seen movie ninja and samurai do the same thing. Just look at Akira Kurosawa's "Yojimbo", the characters run like that a bit, and always have their hands on their weapon. -
I was a fan of their's for some time, and I actually still am, its just the songs they had done are getting old and I'm waiting for some new stuff. Is their anynews on a new album or something? I was a big fan of "Mope" and "Inevitable Return of the Great White Dope" classic singles.

Answer: I'm pretty confident it was a goose or a duck. One or the other. Bonus: I'm probably wrong, but was it $99.99? Question: In "Monty Python's The Holy Grail", what do the knights in the beggining of the movie use to simulate horse hooves galloping? Bonus: What is the wicked creature that the old horned wizard speaks of?

Do Not Read Unless You Have Seen Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2. Too Man Spoilers Would Be Involved. I just recently saw the final chapter of the Kill Bill saga after buying the Kill Bill Vol.2, the DVD. To say the least, I loved it. More so than the first to that matter, providing me with my favorite phrase to date, "The Five-Point-Palm Exploding Heart Technique." But beside the point, I have watched the movie about five times since I got it last week. Over and over again, I am drawn deeper into the world. Particularly, once character in that world, Budd ,Bill's dearest brother. Budd being the coolest character in my eyes, besides Bill, in the movie. His mannerism's and forms of speech intrigued me, and the fact that he was never shown fighting, drew me even deeper. You have to think, being the brother of the deadliest man in the world would have its perks. How did he fight? Was he a fraction as good as Bill or Beatrix? Did Bill school him in the White Lotus Style or use of the Samurai sword (in which I'm sure he did, seeing as how he gave Budd a Hanzo Sword)? Thats what sparked the thoughts that slowly brought along the ideas for this RPG. The Past of the DiVAS (Deadly Viper Assassination Squad). To show what the group did before The Bride dispatched of them all. We all know they were proffecient as individuals, but what about a team? How did Budd aka Sidewinder and Vernita Green aka Copperhead fight (seeing as how neither of them where shown in true combat with the exception of an unprepared Vernita Green vs. The Bride in Vol.1)? Eventually, I divised a RPG story line that could remedy this (originally it was going to be a writing project, but I though, why not turn this into something everyone can enjoy?). The story is based around the same thing Kill Bill was based around. Old Kung Fu and samurai movies, bust aswell, its inspired by Tarantino's first film, Resevoir Dogs. In which the character will each go threw an individual background story where it is revealed how they got involved into Bill's team of o'so deadly assassins, and why. There are two movies, that I have really based this on other the Resevoir Dogs, though. And thats the late and great Bruce Lee's "Game of Death", and "Return of the Dragon". And so comes the story. The Deadly Vipers are called into action by Bill, who has received a request from the Boss of a large Korean mafia ring for an assassination gig. But things can never be simple, oh no. The job involves the Deadly Vipers infiltrating a 6-story pagoda hidden away in the deep green forest of Korea, inside a small, buhhdist temple/private home and a mysterious martial arts master (who is very unlike Pai Mei). The temple's monks band guns amongst the temple ground, and so the Vipers have to go into the mission armed with only their martial knowledge, fists, swords, knives, and etc. Another complication is that the martial arts master who has been called to be killed, is on the 6th story of the great pagoda. On each story of the pagoda lies a challenge in the form of a powerful martial artist, each master of another style, but all students of the great master (that is the middle four stories, the first being home to several lower level students, whom which the Vipers must cut threw). The reasons are unknown as to why they have been asked the master be killed, but then again, the Vipers have never been about reason, only how much they will be paid. But we will know by the end of the story. Aswell to this, in true Kill Bill fashion, the out of order story and chapter system will be in use (this will be my second attempt at an RPG like this, hopefully with a different outcome). Also, while following the story of the Vipers, the story will follow the past and current lives of the students of the great martial arts master (I don't want the RP to be sparse of characters or players now do I?). It will tell of their lessons under the tutelage of the martial arts master, and their lives before hand, how they met him, and their current struggle with the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. And I submit to you. How could I carry this out? Is it a good idea? Would you joint it? How could I improve upon it?

I'd like to request a banner and avatar set of Budd, from Kill Bill Vol.2 . Preferably the seen where he is talking to Bill outside of his trailer, and speaks the words, "That woman deserves her revenge... and we, deserve to die." But just that pic. The only text I want on the banner is his name in the lower right corner. Thats all. Please give it a try. Thanks.

I do agree with you alot on the stereotypes of Hip Hop nowadays. Mainly perpitrated by that abundance of bad gangsta rappers, the 'crunk' wave (which started out good), and now, the Mid-West, Chingy being target of much of my hate. There are some main stream hip hop artists today that still have my heart however. That being: Kanye West: Speaking his mind and being a totally open and new sound in the game. Its really refreshing to hear him. Aswell, he's one of the few hip hop artists who do good remixs, and not all of which being rap or R&B songs ("This Love" and "The Reason" being a few) Jay-Z: One of the few gangsta rappers I like, even though he claims not to be (seeing as how he actually wasn't connected with a gang) he talks of his past of drug dealing and some violence in a way that is regretful, which I like. Aswell, I love his analogies and his ability to thoroughly chew up his rivals in any song, my favorite of his being "Takeover". Lloyd Banks: The only person in G-Unit worth the diamonds he wears. I like him alot more than the head man, 50 Cent, and a hell of alot more than Young Buc. LL Cool J: One of the original and longest lasting battle MC's and funk MC's, I especially enjoyed his battle with Canubis and his latest track "Headsprung", which sounds Dirty South, but really isn't. Fat Joe: Best (and only) fat rapper a round. I like his flow and vocal style, and although it is becoming out played, I enjoyed the "Lean Back" track. KRS-ONE: " I'm number one, oh wait, I number one, two, three, four, and five.", the original teacher, him and Jay-Z are my main inspirations in my own style of rap (which used to be abundant in the Battle Arena). I really enjoy his style of in your face rapping, aswell his ability to totally contradict himself, and still make you like him. Thats a good thing. The Beastie Boys: The Most underground main stream MC's you could ever know. These guys helped shape Hip Hop in a way few ever did. First hand, they are one of the few groups who still incorperates a DJ as a headliner in the line up and major part of the group (that being the amazing MixMasterMike). The Three Jewish Freedom Fighters are old school MC's in a highly sold-out industry. And contrary to their old school style, they still are propelling the Hip Hop Genre forward, hopefully in the right direction. Now on track of underground MC's, there are several I enjoy, many with names I forget, there are a few I remember vaguely though. Frog One J-Live Quassimoto Aasim Saigon Scram Jones There great. But Hip Hop wouldn't be Hip Hop without the DJ's. There are several great ones to take notice of, I have two particular favorite groups though, who are just, the best of the best. The X-Ecutioners/X-Men: Containing the scratch and beat making talents of the combined Rob Swift, Roc Raida, and Total Eclipse. The X-Men would be more well known if their songs had their names tagged to it. Having their songs play on both Twix commercials and on two of the SSX games on PS2. The guys are amazing. The Invisbl Skratch Piklz: The great, the untouchable, and the most unbeatable Skratch Piklz are made up of the combinded talents of Yoga Frog, Short Kut, MixMasterMike (of the Beastie Boys), and arguebly the greatest DJ to date, Q*Bert. The Skratch Piklz were so good, the were asked to withdraw from competeting in the DMC (Disco Mixing Championships) because they were discouraging the competition from entering. These guys deserve more fame for what they do. But unfortunatley, they broke up a while ago and went their seperate ways. Of Hip Hop's four elements, I participate in two, that being Breakdancing (pop'n'lock routines and foot work mainly) and MCing (I write lyrics, and I'm trying to develop my flow style) and I'm a fan of all four elements. Hopefully, some people will come along and break the current mold artist are made in. But until then, we'll all have to wait and enjoy the legacy of the greats, like Jay-Z, B.I.G., KRS-ONE, the Beasties, and The Skratch Piklz.

There were two things I forgot to say. One, is that I need you guys to include how the new superhuman in New York is effecting your character. The second thing is that I need someone to play Spider-Man, because he will be a major role in the RPG. So, you should be ready to play a big role if you select him. Oh, and Galv, go ahead and keep the one you have, it'll give him more motivation to be involved with mafia crimes. Thanks, Flux
