1. It could mean that the power over the name comes from saying "the name given to us by our creator". As Hellboy is called Hellboy by his founders, they know not of his true name, although those who created him and those who know the name in which was given to him on creation can have power over him because that name is sacred from his creator. Maybe God gave us individual names in which he can command us... who knows. I'm sure he wouldn't want any human knowing that name because it would take away the free will the Lord gave to us. That is probably where the concept rose from.

Three fave shows!

1. Seinfeld: a fresh original sitcom, unmatched in most classes. I love the shows humor in everyday life compremise. Aswell, it has rememberal characters, minor, major, or temporary. Kramer, Newman, and the Soup Nazi's are my favorite characters. 2. Family Guy: funnier than the Simpson's to me. It has more, quicker humor that flys from every where. Poking fun at pop culture, old and new. I love how it pokes fun at old TV shows and movies, aswell as its many cut scenes to explain a line. 3. Chappelle Show great homor. Lovable and memorable skits and characters. The greatest comedy variety show since Saturday Night Live... Greatness above all. "Joe Rogan, there's something about me you might not know... I SMOKE ROCKS!" Classic... Honorable Mention: Aqua Teen Hunger Force Freinds Scrubs Punk'd Jackass Direct Effect The Simpsons Futurama Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law Best Week Ever TRL 22 Greatest MC's Ever DVD On TV Saturady Night Live Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn Last Comic Standing American Idol (third season sucked though)
3. If you dislike the way the moderators carry out their business, an important job it may be, then why don't you simply NOT join the OBs. Maybe its just not for you. As for the whole puncuation and capitalization thing. Simply put, the mods obviously want the OBs apart from 'lesser' forums by having the members post in this mannerism they call intelligent. Which means correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Some people may not be as acute in 'net lingo' as you may be. Or maybe its simply because it just looks ugly. Who knows, its basically their site, and where hear to enjoy what they provide. As for the whole posting problem, you should understand that if a mod were to have to go threw the task of PMing every person who posts out of hand, they would never be alowd rest. Just be sure that before you post that you fully grasp the concept on the thread posting and that your not mindlessly ranting about off-subject things on a thread which has a clear subject. As for the newbie deal. Many newbiess make mistakes, thats why everytime they screw up, a link to the rules page is clearly indicated, usually bolded and underlined, by the moderators... so if you get busted multiple times, then its really your problem for not reading the rules the moderators appoint. But hey, if you need some one to coach you threw out the OBs, PM me, and I'll do the best I can. I've actually been a member longer than indicated. So no worries. Oh, and one more thing. If you think that the mods are gonna change their rules simply because you find them distasteful and are going to leave the site for a month in hopes they will be changed, be prepare to be highly dissapointed my egotistical freind. You beleive that the entire boards will be changed over the complaints of a single newbie. Snow balls change in Hell, buddy. And so, I laugh hysterically. Peace and Love, Flux P.S.- ULX, if I make any mistakes, its surely not because I'm lazy, but that I am not a master speller, as I'll admit. Its not as if I posted in a manner such as wrist cutter did (in sarcasm).
4. More Actors ReFlux finds very, very coooool. Samuel L. Jackson: I loved Sam Jack in most of his movies. Some of my favorite roles of his include his character in the Basic, Jules from Pulp Fiction, and Mr. Glass from Unbreakable. Just real cool, fun character to get into. I especially like his jive, tough characters in Pulp Fiction and the Basic. Johnny Depp: While I may not know his major roles in many films, I did love him in Pirates of the Carribean and Don Juan Demarco(?). He puts beleivablility in his roles. He's a pretty good actor in my eyes judging by the diversity of his roles. I especially liked the stumblingly drunk pirate that is Captain Jack Sparrow. Ujio and Katsumoto From "The Last Samurai" Whoa. These guys are awsome. Some of the cooler characters I've seen in the movies I've veiwed. I simply loved both characters. Katsumoto was real cool, calm, and honorable while still being able to have a goofy since of humor while Ujio was a ferocious samurai with cool, caculating abilities with the sword. Not to mention both being as tough as nails. Bruce Willis as Butch Coolidge "Pulp Fiction" I really loved Bruce's tough guy character in PF. The way he talked, carried himself, and his set of morales were really cool. I mean, there wasn't even that much action concerning the character, but you just still knew that if you messed with him, he'd rip your head off. Real cool. Thats all for now. I will most likely think of more and post them in the near future. :D
5. Funny thing. Me and my freinds, mainly my two best freinds, came together one day at starting singing the ATHF Theme song together, each of us doing a different verse. Since I was the second to go and I did Frylock's verse, they call me Miclock (my real name being Mike) my freind who did Master Shake's aka is Mattzula (ala Shakezula) and my freind Dequan is Quanwad. We all love ATHF and I guess I'm kinda like Frylock because I take up a leadership role, although I'm not the bossiest. I'm the thinker I guess. But although our aka's are from the ATHF, me and my freind Dequan's favorite part of the show is the begginings with Dr. Weird and Steve. We even made up our own involving Steve accidentely picking up a Gamecube when Dr. W asked for a PS2 and Steve gets crushed with a giant PS2 controller. :wow: Weird, I know. But then again, the show doesn't even really make since. My other favorite characters include the Christmas Robot, Wayne "The (Main) Brain" McLane, The Moonities, and the Rappers played by mc chris. ("I want candy, candy, bubblegum and taffy!") ATHF is one of my nerdy obsessions. Sooooo... yeah. P.S.- Whoa, Humaru! Thats DeQuan peeps! Quanwad!!!
6. I would like to request a Beastie boys banner and avatar set. Preffereaby, I would like an image of the three Beasties (head shots prefferably) in the Banner with their new logo posted into the left bottom corner. If possible, make the image black and white, but if this is not convenient, then please ignore. I would like a pic of Mike D. in the avatar. Black and white preferrably, but like the banner, it doesn't have to be a requirment. Preferably good picture quality please, aswell, newer pictures of the group preferred. Unfortunately, I cannot currently provide my own. Thank you all who try. Flux.
7. Commander and Mission Planner David Arestapoli was sitting with his office space within the RSDG Headquarters in London, England. Sitting in his beloved red leather chair, chewing amongst his preferred brand of cuban cigar, he reveiwed a small stack of folders with holding the files of the most accomplished and well known RSDG agents the Guild had to offer. He was also awaiting the arrival of these particulars. Each of the agents behelled a certain legend amongst themselves, each holding a different and extrodinary skill. The list was short, but the names on them were known to be worth ten, twenty men each. These names were as followed; John Katsukawa, an English/Japanese mix in races. He was born in Japan and is highly skilled in both hand to hand combat and long range knife throwing. Aswell, he is a particular to holy water. He holds a nasty grudge against vampires. It'd be a good idea to keep him in a seperate, Boris Abtop, and VAC agents. Possibly even go solo. Kevin Mask, a Brit/Scot mix. He was known for his ability to keep a unit secure, and protected, but the problem was it was extremely difficult to gain this trust. Thankfully, theres a small team, so he won't be required to acquire the trust of several people.. Maybe solo aswell. He is known for his skill with small arms and close range melee. Borist Abtop(?) a Russian immigranted agent. Vampire aswell. He is a talented fencer and small arms handler. His unpredicatable attitude makes him a dangerous asset, but he is still a valued agent. It'd be best not to have him lead a team. He does, fortunately, work well with others. Jamael Mestanabe, an American ex-Military personel. He prefers the name Mr. Jacobs for some unknown reason. Trained highly in urban combat aswell as powerful leadership skills. Good material for team leader, his ability to become trusted is a good asset. He will work well with the other team members well. He is also a talented rifle's expert, aswell as having an unpredictable close range fighter, his weapon of choice is his combat knife and unorthodox body attacks. Thanks to his tactical training, he will most likely be assigned team leader. Kim Li Su, a Korean explosives expert and sniper. Another vampire aswell. His personality is one that belongs in an insane asylum. He is a wild fighter who's ability over takes his minds uneffencies. He can defuse any bomb, rig any form of explosive to near unseeable, and hit a target enemy between the eyes from two miles away thanks to his vampire senses. Apart from his ability for long range combat, his mad personality makes him a ruthless hand to hand fighter and thanks to his vampire skin, it would take much gunfire and silver nitrate to stop him from ripping men apart barehanded. He also has a taste for grenades. It'd be best to inform other team member to be cautious of him. This team would be a five man SWAT style squad. Each was informed of the meeting that would be taking place this evening two weeks ago. David personally sent out a letter to each agent. He was growing a bit impatient though, for none of them had shown up just yet. To keep his mind off this annoyance, he rehearsed his words to himself. David knew that if this team came together succesfully, many of the RSDG's and VAC's problems may be answered. Both concerning the ever evolving Blood Brood, and the Lowendove Brotherhood... David's thoughts were interupted with a knocking at his door. "Please, do come in. The door is open." David said in a polite and calm manner. At this, the door slowly opened to reveal a pale faced man with blonde hair. Dressed full in black, he looked at David threw almost ghostly green eyes. David took a moment to look down at his files. It was the Russian, Boris Abtop. "Oh, welcome Agent Abtop. You are actually the first to arrive. Please take a seat." David said, opening his arms out as to point out the chairs. "Thank you, but I'll stand sir." Boris replied, as he looked around the office, examining the several platter and awards hanging on David's walls. "You know, I've heard the legends. Its amazing to finally be in the presence of the legendary 'God of War'." Boris said with a sarcastic smirk as he looked at the older man, wrinkled with age. "You'd think such a prestigous warrior would still be in the feild." "Well, promotion is obviously a forgein concept for you. I was needed for the position, and so I was given it. But, I do however, miss the old hunt." David repleid with a bit of a sigh at the end of his sentence. "Whats stopping you from hunting?" Boris questioned. David just stared at him momentarily. Before another knock came from the door. Without even a word, a dark skinned vampire stumbled threw the door, flashing his fangs in a smile. It was Kim Li Su. "Is this the right office?" Kim asked with a tired demeanor. He looked drunk and the smell of draft beer reaches David's nose as soon as he stepped in the door. David simply sighed and nodded. ---------------------------------------- OOC: Kim Li Su will be a NPC played by me mainly.
8. The Cowboy Bebop Movie actually took place between the episodes of Brain Scratch and Hard Luck Women. It wasn't after the series. So yes, Spike Speigel
did die at the end of the series.
But really, isn't that fair? Its pretty much the release and 'freedom' he had been looking for threw out the series. It also makes the cat story he tells to Jet all that more meaningful. Let the man rest.
9. Well, the whole comprimise is kind of confusing. You don't flesh out really the whole world. What its like, why its like the way it is. Aswell, the whole element warrior comprimise is very played out. Its just not original, and thats what people are really looking for. The more creative RPGs don't really incorperate that sort of 'different magical users' anymore. Check out Kill Adam, War of the Shadows, or Urban Arcana and you'll see. Its really about originality. If I may make a suggestion. If you are going to use the ' element warrior' thing, make it where the people aren't all together, maybe even against each other. Maybe even use different types of element other than water, fire, wind, earth. Like maybe metal, sound, vegetation, and what not. Thats just a suggestion though. It be best to go down a different road anyways. These are just a suggestion though. I'm no one to talk about how to make a successful RPGs, seeing as how I only have a few RPGs in my name in the first place.
10. Gasuke looked a bit dumbfounded as he listened to the conspiring of the two fellows who he had been accompanying. Gasuke wasn't really sure how big a plot he was setting himself into. He had a worried feeling in the pits of his stomache. But something deeper than that burned, and wanted him to continue on this journey with the two strange adventurers. "So, ugh... where going to the outskirts only to speak of plans? Well *sigh*... I guess I have nothing better to do. Shall we be off then?" Gasuke said to the two other young men. The three all rose to their feet and nodded as they set off towards Grillin's outskirts... basically where they had just come from. This really didn't bother Gasuke though, he had a full stomache, and any way he looked at it, he was happy. But he had still a strange gut feeling. Were they really going to overtake an empire alone? Gasuke shuttered. The three adventurers kept silent on their way towards the town outskirts. A longer walk than they first thought it would be. Gasuke was actually a bit fatigued when he got to their destination. Not only was he the shorter out of the bunch, but also, he carried the largest weapon, and had been active threw out most of the day. And so he allowed the other two to speak while he gained his breath, flopping down on the floor and popping the top off of his cantine to take a swig of water. Sen himself down on a fallen log, green with moss, Sen spread his legs out and put his wrists on his knees. "Now, you say your name is Kamikasai. That sword you carry, its name is Fusion. It is a magical sword, with an amazing power." "I kinda figured as much." Kamikasai interrupted, sticking the sword out and examining it. "Yes, that it is. The magic it withholds is actually the ability to withdraw the skills and abilities of those that you focus the power upon, this is where the name comes from, Fusion." "Could of made it LESS obvious..." Gasuke said snidely, cleaning his fingernails. "AS I was saying..." Sen continued. "The blade has a sister sword named Lumina. A sword of great power and renown for its power. Aswell, it is said that it was the key to the Kingdom's power. YOU, Kamikasai, are chosen to find that blade, and restore the Kingdom to its valiant power." This time, Kamikasai had nothing to say. He stared in silence and suprise. It was obvious he knew not what to think. Gasuke found it very hard to beleive aswell. It would take some time and work to help Kamikasai to come to grips with this. Gasuke knew the sooner the better. Sorry if my post was kinda blah. I simply just don't know what to post.
11. I never said that was what I beleived. I simply said that because I was watching IFC (Independent Film Channel) and its night dedicated to Tarantino and Pulp Fiction had little shorts telling about the movie and it said that many people beleived it contained Marsellu's soul. I personally beleive its heroine or cocaine, judging by the appereance of the people Vincent and Jules conviscated it from. I don't think Marsellus' would let them come into possesion of his soul, especially seeing as how the guys the got it from supposedly "did business" with Marsellus, it probably is drugs. (most likely heroine, seeing as how thats one of the most predomenant drug in the movie, and probably the main drug Marsellus deals).
12. That conversation seems like an overanalysus of the film, but kinda makes since. And if you look into Tarantino's works, he does often pull those sort of submliminal message type inventions that hint at his insipration. There's no denying he's a great writer/director. I love his works truely, even though I've only seen Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction. Both actually very recently this year. (Buying the Kill Bill Vol. 1 DVD and watching Pulp Fiction on IFC's 10th Anniversary and homage to the film, watching the annalysus the film by the creators and those involved afterwards.) I've already found that some of his characters may be a bit hoaky and corny, but really thats fun to watch. His movies purposely have that feeling, because it adds subliminal humor while still making the movie have its serious points. Good example in Pulp Fiction of quick, but appropriate mood changes is when Mia O.D.'s and gets the adrenaline shot. After Vincent drops her off, she tells him the Tomatoe joke. Or the way Jules talks when he's about to pop a cap in someones a--. Just seems natural and still hilaroius. Not forced. Another thing Tarantino does well is makes people speculate at untold plot objects. Because thats what makes people obsess and analize the movie so much, that they unravel on truth after another as they repeatedly watch the movie. They may not find out what that plot object is, but they do, if there smart enough, unravel neat little plot turns and formations as they reexamine it each time. Aswell, this allows people to come to their own amends to what the plot object is, therefore allowing the audience member to find their own satisfiaction. Good example. The breifcase that Jules and Vincent are trying to get to Marsellus in Pulp Fiction. Its leaves those who few who saw it in awe, but it is never revealed. (this has caused many people to beleive that the breifcase holds Marsellus' soul.) But there are still two things that I simply love about Tarantino's works. One, the fact that he puts little inside jokes and easter eggs in his movies that people can identify with if they have seen certain movies, namely, the ones he gets inspiration from. Thats always fun. Two, his characterization. No director has ever made me love a character as much as I loved his. My favorite characters in Pulp Fiction being Butch Coolidge and Jules. Butch being a really okay guy mixed up in a bad situation. I mean, what kinda guy will go save the man who set a hit on him from being sadomized by California hillbillies? That was a cool character trait that made me love him even more. And with Jules, his whole personality made me love him. From the way he makes being a hit man fun, to his revalation at the end of the movie (also his wallet, gotta love that wallet). From Kill Bill, it would deffinetely have to be O-Ren Ishii for her attitude and origin. It was very cool how they used an anime sequence to tell of her origin. And the Yakuza meeting scene was great too. I really liked her (aswell, Lucy Liu was an excellent casting choice, and the character kinda matched her own in some, weird, twisted way.) So, I gues Tarantino really is my favorite director becuase of his ability to make you love and examine his movies. Just gotta love the guy.
13. All Included or part of this RPG, please forgive me for taking so long to put up this thread. I was unable to get internet for some time, specifically, the night first intended, and it lasted up till now. Forgive me for that, and please enjoy what I plan to be my best work to date. The Chosen: Shiguru Dragon Warrior Boo Hatake vicky Ruby Cyriel callmegoddess04 Cloud Strife Annie Metatron Arika History It is said that God created human's in his image, and that they were to rule Earth while God watched over them from heaven. Satan, however, always in antagonization with God, created his own race, which would eventually become known as the vampire, after Adam and Eve were exiled from Eden. For years, they were simply called demon, or monster. Vampire were created in negative of human kind, made to feed off of the humans. Early man had no defense agains the beasts and for years of humanities early existance, threw out most of the B.C. era, Vampire were the dominate species of the world. Life was bleek for humanity, but then the day came when humanites savior, Jesus Christ was born. Christianity proved to be the vampires weakness, because it was the relegion of God. Vampire still had a vice grip, however, over humanity, for Christianity was still an unpopular relegion amongst the world. Vampires had a mortal enemy now, but they still fed off of humans like cattle. But they noticed as more and more humans converted the the christian ways that their kind were being pushed further and further into the shadow's of which they were born. Then, when Christ was crucified, many vampire thought that it was a day of celebration, but in all reality, it was a time for fear and paranoia, for the relegion of Christianity would soon spread into the royal families. The day Charlemaine became king of the Franks sealed their fate for good. Charlemaine's Kingdom, spreading Christianity threw out Europe, became Vampire's true mortal enemy, and they resorted soon into hiding in the shadows of the human-ruled world. Monastaries and Churches formed alliances against the un-holy creatures known as vampire, and the hunters soon became the hunted as Monk's created clan's, their prime objective, hunting vampire and ridding the world of the species, which they simply called "over grown leeches". Later on the the A.D. era, the English Catholic Church and Monastary formed one single and powerful hunters society/clan. Formed under Father Alastor Lowendove III, they called themselves "The Lowendove Brotherhood", and they were recognized by the Queen of Englan, Elizabeth, as their top defense against all supernatural threats, their main target, vampire. The Lowendove for years were known as an honorable force, brandishing the sword of God in the crusade agains the hell-spawn that was vampire. Reknowned for their skill in dispatching vampire, the Lowendove enjoyed the lives of heroes, althought most were Monks and preists of the Catholic Church, some of the most skilled brothers were civilian and orphans who grew up in the custody of the church. From them, the Lowendove slowly became a clan, and the hunter traits passing down the bloodlines of the Lowendove, branching off and with every generation, multiplying. But because the Lowendove had lost much of its original honor code, many of the new brothers abused their power. Stealing and killing without jurisdiction from the Royal law enforcment, the Lowendove slowly became more and more corrupt up until the current monarch of England was forced to disband the Brotherhood, and no longer hold them as Britain's supernatural defense system. Out of this was born the "Royal Guild of Supernatural Defense" or better known as the RGSD. The monarch of England formed the knew branch of Royal defense under the decree of not to wipe out the vampire race, but rather, form a more peaceful and neutral bond between the human and vampire races. But their main purpose was to erase any supernatural threat, be it vampire or human. For most of the RGSD's existance, there were strictly human agents and most vampires were still very hostile to the Royal Throne, and human race in general. But as time passed, Vampire became more organized and civilized. The slowly became more humane and supressed their blood thirsty nature in order to become more successful in the ever humanizing world. And so, the vampire slowly became more 'neutral' with the human race, still hunting them, but not reaching for over all slaughter without mercy. Some vampire even joined specialized units of the RGSD, maintaning peace between the two species. As the world began to grow modernized, and industrialization took over Europe and England, the vampire's began forming guilds and organizations, in order to civily and humanely maintain their race. The larges of the organization was called the "Vampiric Alliance of Civilization" or VAC. This organization made sure that the race of vampire was fed the human blood that suplemented them, while still beign a civilized organization and mainting a freindly relationship with the RGSD. But the VAC still held arms, in the case that rogue hunters tried killing fairly 'innocent' vampire. To both the VAC and the RSDG's dismay, a new enemy prevailed. But actually not new, it was truly the newly revived Lowendove Brotherhood, a large clan of vampire hunters, made up of the blood decedants of the original Brotherhood, aswell as taking in freelance hunters. The Lowendove Brotherhood waged silent war against both the RSDG and the VAC, based on racism and jealousy of lost glory. The war has lasted till this vary day... The Story The year is 2009, the war between the Lowendove and the two organizations of peace have drawn to a stalemate. Much blood has been shed, and that blood is bitter with deceit. But a new enemy has emerged. More dangerous, more hostile than the Lowendove. They are a vampiric clan, swearing a creed to return vampire to the top of the food chain, and masters of all civilization. Using terrorist and guerilla tactics, this renegade group of vigilantes have killed members of all three factions. The Lowendove, for hunting vampire. The Vampiric Alliance of Civilzation for being in league with humans. The RSDG, for being a major source of defense for the human world. They have commited several crimes ranging from arson to near bio-logical terrorism. The renegade's have grown so far to be successful in their cause. And they have now dubbed themselves the "Blood Brood". Ever since the day the Blood Brood has emerged, the three organizations have stopped their fighting, and turned their attentions towards the Brood. But alone, they have proven unsuccessful. The Brood is slowly eating away at each once grand civilizations, and only two options remain. Join together in temporary alliance, thow aside the bad blood and differences, and take down the common enemy. Or, be destroyed completely, and eventually surrender the human race to the massive numbers of the Blood Brood. A desicion must be made, and the human race depends on it... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Sides The Royal Guild of Supernatural Defense: The RGSD is a high-funded orgnaization and can afford high-grade weapons from silver-nitrate bullets to holy gun turrets. The members have more modern fighting styles, ranging from martial arts to military tactics training. Members of this group have freedom to use what they want, be it guns or swords. Well balanced in all areas. The Vampiric Alliance of Civilization: Much like the RGSD, the VAC has high enough funding to be able to afford high grade arms. The members of this organization come from all over the world, because the VAC has several branches in different countries. This allows many different and various fighitng styles to emerge from the group. They are good hand-to-hand fighters and close range fighters because of their vampire abilites. The Lowendove Brotherhood: The Lowendove aren't very fanciful of guns, other than small arms, such as berretas and Desert Eagles, loaded with blessed bullets. They much rather use traditional english swords, knives, weaponized crosses, and other strange and customized weapons made for their purpose. They are mainly a hands on group and use their blessed weapons to an advantage against the vampires. The Blood Brood: The Blood Brood is blood thirsty by nature and have a ruthless way of fighting close up. Many times going itno an apparent berserker mind set. The Blood Brood is more than just that, often times they use Guerilla tactics and terrorism, using other sides weapons against them or holding up weapons silos, sometimes even taking hostages. They make their means in any manor they can think of, and they simply don't care about the lives of others. They use most of the times either their bare hands or military rifles such as the AK-47 that they steal from goverment and police facilites, so they too are well balanced in long and short range combat, but not as indepth as say the VAC or Lowendove. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- London, England Januraury 24th, 2009 10:34 pm Small, white flakes of snow dropped softly on the grimey streets of London's lower south side. The homeless and prostitutes gathered around canister fire's on scattered street corners. It was a cold night, late, and dark. Perfect night for any form of shady work. Perfect night for hunting, aswell. The shadows were crowded with lives and the lifeless. But that was in the shadows. The streets were empty, almost hollow. The wind whisteled over the snow covered road, like the screech of a banchie. Only one man roamed these cold, empty steets. Dressed heavily in black, covering all visible parts of his body. Atop his head, a black hat covered neck lenght black hair. A long, black over coat covered over the person's shoulder's loosely, even though the individual was well built. Black shoes and garmets covered the body. The person carried a dreadful, fearful aura, catching the uneasy stare of any who he passed. A predomenant figure on this individual was the large, dark chromes breifcase he carried on his right side. RSDG Headquarters, London Two men, well aged, sat around in a lavishishly furnished sitting room, gathered around a fire placed in two over-stuffed chairs, chatting casually. The smell of cigar smoke filled the air as the two, older men conversated. Their distinct, rich voices filled the room with intellect, and class. The seemingly younger, more healthy of the two spoke up, the fire shining on the half glasses bridged on the tip of his nose. " You know, threw out my years here at the RSDG. And threw out my years as tactical missions planner, I've found that spies and moles are some of the most efficient tools I've ever imployed." he said with a deep, rich voice, almost matching the glossed wood of the over stuffed chairs legs and arms. He took a deep drag of his cigar, and placed it on the ashtray beside him. " They may be useful, but if caught, the whole plan falls apart quickly. Their a gamble. I never really liked the use of them." the older, plumper one said, puffing out a smoke ring himself, and placing his elbow on the chair arm. " That is a true factor. Thats why I hand select my own, in the missions that I employ." the younger man said, tapping the ashes off his cigar and raising it to his mouth. " But our agents all go threw the same training programs. Selecting individual's would be redundant." the plumper man said, raising his eyebrow in question and taking a long drag. " My freind, when did I ever say I was selecting our agents..." the younger said with a smile, chewing on the end of his cigar slightly as he stared at the now suprised older man... The dark figure carrying the chrome breifcase stepped up to a rusty, green door. A heavy, gloved fist raised from his large overcoat. It slammed against the rusty door hard, three times, making a strange metallic thudding. A slit in the door opened, and a pair of fearful, crimson eyes shown threw. They spoke a dark voice. " Password!" they grunted. The dark, shadowy figure spoke in whisper. Cold and dry. " Alucard." the figure spoke, standing firmly, like a statue. The eyes in the door's slit grunted, as its brows raised. The rusty old door opened, and a loud rush of voices and grungy music came from the inside. The dark figure slowly stepped in, the snow melting off of his clothing and wetting the floor around. The figure continued walking with heavy feet, threw out the wild, rampid crowd filled with fanged men and women. All taking part in rave like dances and strange, hypnotic rituals of cutting and such. The tall dark figure ignored all of this as he stepped up to a man who overlooked all of this from his large, metal chair. He stopped and stared at the man in the chair for sometime. He dropped the case and kicked it over to the man in the chair. "You know, its looked down upon highly by the higher chairmen to imploy those outside the agency." the plump man said with a grunt, laying down his cigar and picking up loosely a glass of light rum. "Yes, Yes, I know well enough. But, this particular mercenary owed me something." the younger man said, still retaining his smile. He began puffing out smoke. "And what exactly may that be, 'Ares'?" the man scoffed agrivatedly. He bottom upped the glass and consumed the small amount of rum, exhaling loudly as he cheeks blushed a bit. "He owes me his life, Alastor. I spared it, long ago..." the younger man said. He put out his cigar in the ashtray and picked up a glass of wine he had beside the ashtray and guzzled it, then lightly setting it down. The man in the metal chair bent over in the chair and lifted up the metal case to his lap, opening the case, he looked inside. A smile spread across his face, revealing his sharp fangs, he licked his teeth. "Excellent. Excellent." he said closing the case. He then picked up a black breifcase by his own side and held it out. "Your payment." the man in the metal chair said. "That.... won't be necessary." the dark figure said, with a voice as cold as the shadows. Out of his pocket, he held in his hand a small, black cylinder with a red button at the top. The dark figure pressed down on the button and instantly, the case held by the man in the metal chair exploded loudly, sending blood, bones, and organs flying across the now shocked and panicking room. The dark figure opened up his over coat revealing an array of weapons. He drew out two weapons and began firing off rounds into the panicking crowd. Those that escaped the rush of gunfire ran out threw the door, stomping over the red eyed doorman to get out of the building. To their dismay, however, was a firing squad of SWAT dressed soldiers. The last thing they saw, were the letters, RSDG across the breast plates of the firing squad as the gunfire echoed threw out the cold, grimey streets of the mid winter London neighbourhood. After the gunsmoke and sparks setteled, the dark figure stepped out of the firey building over the ashed corpses of the dead vampire and pulled from his pocket, a small black cellular phone. He opened it out and dialed a single number. Bringing it to his ear, he spoke in a still cold voice. "Mr. Arestapoli, mission is accomplished." "Good, Good. Your payment shall be coming soon. I thank you for your services." the younger man's voice came from over the phone. Happiness and satisfication was in his voice. He hung up the phone and spoke to himself. "Now, the hard part comes. We've gained their attention, now, we draw them out." David Arestapoli spoke. He raised from his overstuffed chair, and bid farewell to his plump, old freind, and began his way to his quarters, ready for the missions that tommorow would bring... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay! Now the first post is down in this so highly awaited RPG. Lets get things rolling. I hope to make this great!
14. Duh Duh Duuuuuuh! Its me. Please, please forgive me for not posting in so long. I was unable to log onto my internet for some time, and that, therefore, caused the delay in the start of the RPG. I'll understand if you guys don't want to take part in this any longer, and won't hold it against any of you. But if you do still want to take part, PM me, telling me your still interested. Sorry and Thank You, ReFlux
15. We are going to start today. I'm putting it up soon. Probably later tonight if not now. It is going to start, non the less.
16. These are my fav's right here. Uma Thurman/The Bride: Silly Caucasian girl plays with samurai swords. Well, she really knew how to handle those swords. The Bride has urned my love because of her style (Game of Death track suit worn in the House of Blue Leaves) and the coolness of her unorthodox sword style. Aswell, what better motivation than cold blooded revenge? Lucy Liu/O-ren Ishii Cold, calculating, powerful, and most of all, skilled. O-Ren knew how to protect herself, hiring bodyguards in the skilled leader of the Crazy-88's and the twisted GoGo Yubari. At first glance, you'd think O-Ren would hire them just because she couldn't fightherself. Then, you are proven so wrong when she slices your head off in a clean sweep. Just really a smooth, cool character. Jason Mewes/Jay A loud mouthed chuckle head without a lick of commen sense due to years of pot smoking and drug dealing. He's the appendamy of the 'funny' drug dealer. Jay is a hilarious character, I just find his element makes any situation that much funnier. I mean, the apocolypse was never better in Dogma. Bruce Lee/Hai Tien The silent smart-a--. Bruce Lee's character, Hai Tien, in Game of Death was probably his best. Always making some wise crack at the fighter after he socks them one good time. And even when he gets socked. But the best part being that he was a skilled martial artist and could dissassemble any style as he saw it could be adapted. Showing the true power of Jeet Kune Do. Thats all for now.
17. Gasuke and the strange young man made their way down the steep mountain slope. Gasuke was a little confused by the strang boy, but he thought not much of it. The two talked as Gasuke escorted the young man. "Sooo. Your name is Kamikasai, right?" Gasuke asked with a goofy tone and look on his face. "Yep yep. And Gasuke Riceball...." Kamikasai said with a big smile and closed eyes. Gasuke's eyebrow flinched a little at the crack of his name. Tipping his chin up with a forced frown, Gasuke just snorted a little and said, "Kamikasai, eh... strange name. Were'd you get it?" "Ugh.... my parents?" he said with a confused look at the repeated quesiton. "Must have hated you..." Gasuke said with a stuck out tongue and a toothy smile, winking humourosly. Kamikasai pushed him a little with a laugh. It was then Gasuke noticed the red scar on his shoulder. It had black cinders around it, like a burn mark. "Say, were did ya pick that little beauty mark up?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "Oh... ugh. Well... promise not to tell?" Kamikasai whispered looking up to Gasuke. "Just spit it out, shorty." Gasuke said jokingly, nudging Kamikasai in the ribs. "Well..." he started out. Gasuke listened as Kamikasai spilt the long and at many parts, confusing story to him. Gasuke was left with a feeling of disbeleif. "... then a thirstquencher guard caught up with me, attacked me, and he friggin' shot me! Can you beleive the guy shot me. And I thought this place would be like Medievil Times or something... gah." Kamikasai blabbered. Then he looked up to the befuddeled and disbeleiving Gasuke who stared at him with a blank expression. "Hey, its the truth. I hope I can trust you." Gasuke stared at Kamikasai a little while longer. Stopping in his tracks. Suddenly he burst into laughter. "AAHHAHAHAHA!!! Thats a good one, man. I havn't had a laugh like that in a while. Whew. Good one. Hero of the Allucaneet. Born from a crystal. What do you take me for, dude? I mean, I'm not scientist, but thats one far fetched story you got there." Gasuke rubbed a tear from his eye, still smiling and catching his breath. "Well, its the truth! I swear it!" Kamikasai explained to him, seriously in tone. "Whatever dude. Don't try to convince me." He said, still trying to releive his laughters tension on his chest. Kamikasai sighed at Gasuke's laughter and kept on walking. They were getting closer to the village, and Gasuke could almost smell the food from the resturaunt, and then it hit him. "Oh CRAP! I was supposed to..." Suddenly, a rustle came from the bushes at Gasuke turned with his weapon drawn. Thirstquencher guards slowly emerged from the shadows cast by the trees, brandishing their spears and bincho guns. Gasuke and Kamikasai both took stiff battle stances. "Well, this outta take care of my money troubles." Gasuke whispered into Kamikasai's here with a smile. Kamikasai just raised a confused and worried eyebrow. "Citizen. You are a wanted by the Thirstquencher Empire. Our sources lead us to beleive you may be a hostile threat to the Empire's well being." a particularly thick gaurd called out, holding his spear straight, pointing towards the air. "Hold on, what did I do, big guy?" Gasuke said loudly, almost obnoxiously. He came to a confused expression. "Not you, rock head. The fellow dressed in white. He is our suspect." he called out loudly. Almost angrily. Gasuke's face was shocked as he looked over to Kamikasai, who kept a straight face. Guess he was telling the truth... B-but what does that mean? Gasuke thought to himself. He then looked up again at the fat guard. "Citizen! Move away, if you do not wish to be harmed." the obnoxious guard called out. Gasuke just made an angry face and kept looking up at the guard. He snorted with his pig face and made a snide look. "Very well then. GUARDS! ATTACK BOTH OF THEM!" he called out loudly. The Thirstquencher Guards slowly made their way towards Gasuke and Kamikasai. "You can leave now, I won't hold it against you." Kamikasai whispered to Gasuke. Gasuke scoffed a bit and look over to Kamikasai from the corner of his eyes. "What?! And let you have all the fun!? Screw you pally." Gasuke said with a smile. He began to laugh as the guards leaped at the two fighers... Hope you don't mind getting in a second fight. But this will help explain to my character your position in the story and will create a bond so that our characters can trust each other enought to persue the story and the conflicts more.

Sorry, sorry. But none of the above compare to the following. 1. Game of Death: Hai Tien (Lee) vs. Dan Inosanto An excellently beutiful, and most of all, realistic battle going from stick vs. Bamboo whip, to Nunchaku vs. Nunchaku, to bare hands vs. Nunchaku. Just an awsome fight, and Dan Inosanto was just great. Especially when he took out Lee's two lesser partners. 2. Game of Death: Hai Tien vs. Hap Ki Do Grandmaster Although the fighters real name is never revealed, the fight is great and it shows the true power of joint locking and throwing techniques. Pure fun to watch him dismantle two people at once. I remember when Lee's tallre partner tried to kick him, and the guy placed on foot in front of his standing foot and hooked his other around his kicking leg, moved his waist a little, and threw him down. Grandure! 3. Game of Death: Hai Tien vs. Hakim (Kareem Abdul Jabaar) Showing the true power of the human body. Just an awsome fight to watch, especially seeing Jabaar throwing those kicks, its almost scary. You think that one landed would take of Lee's head. Bruce's sheer speed is his advantage and its fun to watch him use it. Cool fight. But I liked the Inosanto battle more. 4. The Chinese Connection: Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris This was an awsome and epic fight set in the Roman Colliseum. It was fun to watch as Lee slowly transitioned to Jeet Kune Do and became formless with his style. It showed true heart in the spirit of martial art. This goes down as one of the greats for me. 5. Enter The Dragon: Bruce Lee vs. Bob Wall (Hana) Awsome fight, awsome. Bob Wall seemingly dwarfed Lee in size and power at first, and then, whammo! Speed prevails and and Bruce takes him apart. Great fight. Not to mention the last side kick thrown, in fact, was real, and broke the arm of one of the extra's who caught Wall on the rebound. Shows how amazing Lee really was. Thats all for now. I got more, but I have proven I'm a total Lee fanatic.
19. I'm strange in what I look for physically in girls. I leave it to something that particularly makes them stand out from the crowd. Be it a cute hair style, a nice curvy waist, a big 'ol apple bottom (I particularlly like that) or just a pair of beutiful eyes. But I guess what I really like on a girl would be the following, seeing as how my current girl freind is like this, and she's the longest lasting relationship I've ever had. -Blonde/Dirty Blonde Hair. -Blue or Green eyes, or Deep Brown. -A slight tan, not to pale (althought any darker, doesn't matter, seeing as how I have dated outta race, and don't plan on stopping). -A nice, curvy waist, but not particularly skinny. -B or C cup. Much bigger kinda turns me off. -A cute fashion since, although I really don't mind what they wear, its a nice suprise to see the cute, nearly innocent looking girl, and realize she's wearing a thong underneath. Just kinda turns me on. -Most important for me, I like a nice, round apple bottom, a big butt. Not flabby, not flat, but just right. It will bounce, but still stay firm. Thats probably one of my favorite features on my girlfreind. Thats about it. I'm not trying to sound shallow by listing these things. But I did simply because I love how my g/f looks, and I like every part about her, so I listed it. But what ever makes a girl unique in a crowd, I'll notice and like them for that off the bat. (Don't like Tattoos that much, but tongue or nose perciengs are kinda cute to me)
20. Well, I cut a deal with Metatron that he would be making two characters, since he can't decide on which to choose, and both will be Lowendove. So, sign ups are basically closed unless anyone else wants to join the party, but once he puts up his sign ups, they will be closed. So, waiting.
21. I just got to Summer Break last week. My plans are to live out the rest of the first two weeks in my town and hang with my freinds/girl freind. Then after all that good stuff, I'm off to work for my Uncle at this resturaunt in another, smaller, town. Atleast I know the people and I get all the free pizza and pepper steak I want. I'll also be raking in some dough, so after a month or so there, I'm off again to spend my earnings and enjoy them the remainder of the summer. Luckily, my cousins (uncles kids) have already introduced me to several peeps in the town, so atleast I got some people to hang out with while I'm there. No very exciting, but beleive me, I've had some crazy summer. Vacations in Greece, Disneyland Paris, family reunions, so on. I'm not that boring.
22. Gasuke flew through the inn door and fell onto his back in a huddle, rolling slightly. Dirt kicked over his image, as he slowly awoke from his slumber. Thats a nice way to wake up... he thought to himself as a barrage of insults flew through the Inn. "Listen you stupid freeloader!!!" the Innkeeper called out. He was in a particularly bad mood today. "Unless you plan on paying for the room, DON'T TRY TO SNEEK IN!" he yelled out in a snarling voice. Gasuke was still scratching his head and trying to brush the dirt off himself. But a head ache slowly formed. Gasuke slowly got up from his laying down position, "Listen old man! I was gonna p...." Gasuke's sentence was interupted by the large clatter of his luggage and weapons all crashing down on him, causing him to lay flat once again. "And don't forget your worthless crap!" the Innkeeper screamed threw his door. Gasuke was left on the ground, twicthing an eyebrow as he lay on the dirty ground, held down by his heavy luggage. The Innkeeper muttered as he walked back into the building, low and under his breath. But Gasuke heard most of it. "Damned freeloaders..." Gasuke just sighed as waited a few seconds to move. It was then he noticed all the strange and humorous looks he was catching from all the villagers. Scringing his face into an angry frown, he continued gathering his things into backpack, frustratingly. It was until Gasuke was away from the Inn that he noticed what a bright and sunny day it was. This brought up his spirits a bit as he strolled along the streets of Grillin Village. Smiling now at the happy mood of the lighthearted town. He breathed deep in the fresh air, feeling invigorated. Gasuke made his way to the Resturaunt, seeing if the pretty owner (or waitress, Gasuke could never figure it out) would let the scruffy young 'hero' have some food scraps for the little money he had, but half way there, he stopped and turned to the bakery instead. Realizing that he had no amount of money worth their food. He walked in and greeted the cheerful baker. A nice woman, full of life, and a little hefty. "Well Howdy! What can I do for ya?" she said in a nice, almost motherly tone, smiling big. She was wearing an apron and a kitchen bandana, and her face was white from flour. "Ugh... can I have your cheapest bread and some milk?" Gasuke asked hesitantly as he counted pennies. He was never good with math as it was, and he really didn't want to waste the little money he had left. He knew he would have to go monster hunting out in the Somnolent Forest or Twin Peak Mountain, soon. Gasiuke slowly took the 240 dran from his hands and placed it on the counter. "Glad to oblige!" she said loudly turning around to gather the items requested. She quickly returned with the bread and milk and handed it to Gasuke. "Now, you have a nice day young man..." she said with a big smile as Gasuke turned around towards the door. "I'll be sure to..." Gasuke called out as he left the Bakery. He then huffed in another breath of fresh air and made his way towards Twin Peak Mountain. Thats a best place to start off as any, and he hadn't been there in some time. It'd be a nice change of scenery. And so, Gasuke took off. OOC: I hope to meet Kamikasai on his way down the mountain as Gasuke goes up the mountain.
23. Yes, Yes, and sort of. Damage like being stabbed in the heart directly and being decapitated will kill them. If they are cut in half , such as from the shoulder and going down, they are killed, but if their waste is cut off, then they can survive. Think mainly like "Blade" for vampires abilities to survive, then you have it. Human ability, think "Hellsing". Thats the basis.
24. Successful and good RPGs in my eyes are those that innovate and have alot of description to them. A very deep story line, which can spand a long post. It has to be descriptive and get my attention while still maintaining a good amount of originality and heart into its plot. I get annoyed by RPGs that are just thrown out sloppily. Like the consant flow of Digimon RPGs that seem to be created at a factory. Or the Mass-produced "Element Warrior" formula. While some RPGs are successful and very interesting while not having an extremely long story line, most do not acheive that success. Example of a successful RPG without long back story, "Assassin Rebirth". It was made great by its large amount of character interacion and internal conflict, and I respected it for what it was. Now, my veiw on RPGs based on anime vary. If the person does a good job at using the anime's world, while still making sure that people that haven't seen it enjoy it for what it is, then its a good RPG in my eyes. And the use of the Anime universe can vary. You could simply just use the universe that the anime is set in, or you can hop into the shoes of one of the main characters, like I did some many times in my line of Trigun RPGs (which I hope to revamp soon). But still, even with the anime universe, you cannot use that to mask the lack of innovation. You have to give the characters a conflict, something to work at. Open a portal for them to go threw in order to, while keeping true to the anime, changing the world around them. (Example: Vash destroys the city of July in Trigun, the anime. In my RPG, July was rebuilt as New July. Aswell, Vash tries to hide is still famous alter ego by dawning a blue outfit, facial hair, and a pony tail.) Aswell, the RPG "Brave Fencer Musashiden", as PiroMunkie mentioned, isn't just a sequel or prequel to a video game world, its the "reinvention" of the games world by instead of having one major hero, he has taken the veiw point of the giving the hero companions, and watching the games story unfold in an alternate way. Its all about innovation to me. Thats why, in my RPG, which I'm currently working with, "War of the Shadows: Episode 1" I revamped the world I had created in a past RPG of the same name, still using the basic history, giving a new and better story line, and spanning the RPG through out three episodes in which sides would be changed, destroyed, reborn and a lot of character development would evolve on each side. If I can do this correctly and the people involved stay committed, the RPG will be highly successful. So in the end, its just goes down to innovation, originality, commitment to the story line, and commitment to the RPG by all of those who sign up.
25. I'm very glad you brought that up. I was tending on adressing this issue. Okay, here goes. Vampires, while having super human strenght and speed, they can also sense human presence and can feed off of human blood, obviously. Other than that, they have several weaknesses. Holy Relics of any kind, be it a cross (which powerful vampires do have tolerancy for) to silver nitrate bullets blessed in holy water, which should do a little more than sting any vampire. Now, if a vampire si powerful, like all of the vampire characters here, the bullets will do the same damage as a regular bullet would do to a human. The blessed and holy mumbo jumbo is just to act as a n equalizer. Garlic, I have considered, and I havn't found any real reason vampires would detest garlic, but I guess a dose of garlic juice in a liquid release bullet would be just under holy water, so go for it. Now, as for humans. Now while not having the sure strenght and abilites as powerful vampires (like running across walls and jumping high bounds), we still can have near equal speed, seeing as how all of the RSDG agents go under intense training for vampire extermination. Aswell as having control over the holy weapons and such, the only thing that gives vampires an advantage is their sure physical ability/brute strenght. so, don't worry about being completely overwhelmed by vamps as long as you have the right fire power and a quick draw. Now, Annie, I let you in because I know for a fact that your a great RPer and liked your sign up, but please, PLEASE, use that little demolecularizing technique sparringly, and please, please don't use it against any of the characters here, unless they directly ask for their character to be offed. Now, please people. 2 more sign ups, and we can get going. Two Lowendove is all we need. Tell your freinds and get the word out. Your the ones in a rush to start, so lets go!
