Like I said before, the words come from the Greek War of Independence around the 1820's when Greece was won back from the Ottoman Turks. It was the battle cry of the rebels, and its symbolically manifested on the Greek flag by it's stripes. And the words themselves hold special meaning to me, I guess. Also it looks cool. The main character is played by Johnny Tri Nguyen, who was in Tony Jaa's [b]The Protector[/b], playing one of the few guys who actually lands a punch (or in his case, kick) on Jaa. He was the skinny gang-leader guy in the leather pants. Yeah, turns out he's possibly the only currently living human who can come close to Jaa's on-screen martial arts abilities. He pulls stuff that I didn't think possible. It's a great movie and if you're a martial arts or asian film fan (I don't even think there is a dub) then check it out. It's the first time I've seen a Vietnamese-made film, and I was extremely impressed. I guess you could compare it to Jet Li's [b]Fist of Legend[/b], only the Japanese are now the French, and Johnny don't use wires as far as I know. Not to mention the female lead is a smokin' Vietnamese pop-starlette. [/color][/size]
