A super special awesome movie set? :0
No... just the local theatre's production of Harvey. But I did get to be an extra on the set of Vampire Diaries last semester! :D

The only language I know fluently is English, but I am learning ASL, Spanish, and Japanese - mostly because my younger sister is learning them. Some things in Spanish I will know forever because my mother used certain phrases with me and my brother when we were little, so I'm just as familiar with [pardon my spelling] "Dame" as "give me that". We started learning ASL with my sister because, at 1 year, it is a lot easier to make your hands do the signs for words than it is to make your vocal chords sound them out. She's learning to speak, but half the time I don't know if she's saying it in her own skewed version of English or if it's in Japanese that she picked up from a music video.

I said that and then I forgot. >.< Whoops. Maybe do a short time jump? I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do between the current time in the RP and the "party" or whatever.
May I just say, chibi, that I think it is awesome you are taking Latin. *took it herself in high school* Of course, I've forgotten so much vocab it doesn't really matter, but still.
I don't think we had Latin, 'cept over at the special career building, which I never got to go to.

Now I have to tell my story. And I guess you could look up to me, in a way. I just turned 19 about two weeks ago, and have been in the same relationship for the past 8 months with a guy who is amazing. I found him when I finally stopped looking for someone. The reason I put this up here is because when I started high school, I fell in love with this guy. I dated him for two years straight before I finally said, "No more." He never cheated, but he was physically and emotionally abusive. I kept telling myself that because I loved him, it would be okay, that he would change. It never happened. Because I loved him, I told myself that I even deserved it when he hit me. I would tell myself everything I could think of, that I'd asked for it, that I'd provoked him, when really it was just him being controlling. He'd tell me I was stupid, selfish, worthless, a heartless *****, everything he could think of - and I believed him. It took prodding from my friends for two years, even though they didn't know about the physical abuse, to break up with him. They knew he was tearing my self-esteem apart and that I was becoming a different person because of him. Most of my friends wouldn't see me or hear from me unless they saw me at school, and then I was quiet - which, as most of the people here know, is NOT like me at all. In the end, I hated myself. I wasn't allowed to talk to other guys or hug them because he was afraid I would cheat, which I never did or even thought of doing. And I finally left him. It was hard, and I jumped into another, better relationship three weeks after I broke up with him - partially because I really liked the guy and partially because I knew that if I didn't emotionally and physically attach myself to someone new, I would just go back to him. That second relationship was comfortable, and I still care about the boy, but it was boring and I knew that eventually it would be time to move on. He saved me from myself, though, and became my protection against my ex. He kept me safe and loved long enough for me to believe in myself again. The boy I'm with now is a perfect match for me - enough same and different interests to keep things interesting; sweet, funny, kind. And he's helped me LOVE myself again. I would be devestated if we broke up, yes, but I could go on to someone new and better if I had to (Gods forbid). Remember this: you can't truly love someone else until you love yourself.
My buddy's brother who had our hotel room and was pre-registered was freaking out kinda because we were driving down their the day before it started and weren't registered and figured we'd be in a line all the rest of that night or the next day trying to get registered. We literally dropped our stuff off at the hotel, walked over to the registration desk on campus across the street, and signed up without a moment's wait, hahahaha. We were just like "Wow, well that was easy...". The next morning the place had a wrap-around line for people trying to do a walk-in registration, hahaha. We got lucky I guess. Basically the same thing happened with the dealers room. We got in early on the first day, got our stuff, and left. Later that same day, the line for the dealers' room (on the third floor), was stretched all the way to the first floor. Me, FTW.
Where was it at this year? And yeah, that's pretty common. When I went to AWA last year we all just preordered our badges. :) It was pretty awesome.

Asphy: Sounds good. xD Zen: Dude, I always forget about it until someone mentions that it's happening two days before; by then, it's too late to get a ticket. >.
One of my first posts on OB since about 2005! This feels really strange. I'm currently in the library at my university trying to write a huge paper that is due on Monday, it's not going well. Weather here is okay. It's been super spring-y though for the most part which I'm really enjoying since I'm up here in Canada. Also, I am getting a puppy soon! Wee!
Puppy = yay! Essay = boo, and I know how you feel. I got mine done and then tried to print it at school. The files wouldn't open, so my paper is incredibly late. On a side note, my boyfriend just debated whether or not to run down the street after the icecream man. I told him that if he had to debate it, he didn't want the icecream that much. Still, I think I'm keeping this one. He's been playing the piano non stop for about 30 minutes now, just for the hell of it.

My mom swears up and down that she smells what seems to be the spilled contents of an entire bottle of nail polish and that it is making her sick. There are four other people in the house and NONE of us smell it - and my dad has the strongest nose in the house. -__-

My boyfriend's family is being evicted. T_T That means he has to move in with me (if my parents will allow it), and I'm not objecting to it. It's just really sad cause they've lived there their entire lives.

CaNz, why are there bugs in your restaurant?
because we leave doors open and they like it inside when our California weather decides it wants to change for once. i also saw one in the backroom once but i think it was from the truck... a surprising amount of food distributors are not checked... which doesn't make sense since both the restaurants and the food centers are thoroughly examined... a truck should be easy. but hey, we re wash all food and cook it at proper heats so its safe even if it was crawling with buggies... so if your ever in the neighborhood your welcome to stop by.
I'm not likely to ever be that far out, but what's it called?

Speaking about feeling invincible, I went to workout at the Anytime Fitness near me with my boyfriend and best friend today. At the moment, I only have a 7 day free trial but I know what I'm getting when I finally get a job - a membership. I feel incredible right now. :) I dropped a whole pound in just one session.
