A cute, button nose turns upwards slightly above a generous, ruby mouth; her lower lip is considerably larger than her upper lip, and her smile makes her entire face radiant and captivating. She stands at a short 5' even, her slight form almost childish except for her soft curves. Her hair is so dark that it has blue shadows; she keeps it long, often curled profusely to give her a younger appearance. She favors, despite her tendency to seem young, short black school girl skirts and button-up shirts complete with plaid tie and short vest that emphasizes her slender waist and rounding bosom. She wears either loafers with tall stockings or stilleto boots. The sleeves of her shirts are always a bit too long, hiding her long, slender fingers. The only jewelry she wears is a single sapphire teardrop in the hollow of her throat and a claddagh that is now reversed - a sign that she is single. There is a tattoo of a tribal butterfly that starts at her left shoulder and spreads down her back, stopping midway. [b]Personality:[/b] Silent and sure, she holds the aura of someone used to power but also someone who knows when not to use it. She never speaks unless it is necessary, and only if she has something to say that she feels is useful. She seems like an ice-cold queen, putting everyone below her, but truly it is a defense mechanism. She risks nothing, keeping herself walled off from the rest of the world to prevent herself from being hurt. She has the tendency to be unecessarily nasty, and refuses to apologize. [b]Special Skills:[/b] Despite being cold, she has incredible diplomacy skills and the bearing of someone you don't want to mess with. She can talk her way out of just about any situation - and is a fabulous lock-pick to boot. She hasn't found a pair of cuffs that can hold her yet. This trait makes her a good spy. These two skills of diplomacy and spying have made her a brilliant courtesan in the past, and she is not above using it if she has to. [b]Weapons/Equipment:[/b] Dierdre carries twin stilleto throwing knives in sheathes at her wrists. She also carries a beautiful oriental fan across her back that is about three feet in length; the fan is razor sharp and acts as a boomerang. She also carries lock-pick equipment with her as well as the knowledge of poisons. [b]Writing Snippet:[/b] A flash of light, overwhelming heat, and a gut-wrenching shriek - then nothing. She clawed at her surroundings only to be reminded that there was nothing at all left of what she once loved. The silence around her was overwhelming, the darkness burned her eyes until she thought she would go insane - - then air. Fresh, clean, warm - and considerably muggier than what she was used to. She blinked rapidly, trying to clear her mind. Nope, it was still there. The green was overwhelming to someone who had once lived in a place of cold metal and electricity. This wasn't right. There was earth, soil - a thing so foreign to her she had to search her memory profusely before she even knew what to call it. Other planets had this - this earth, these living things. She had never seen so much green in one place before; well, maybe once. But that had been in a carefuly cultivated garden that her grandfather once had, and it was all exotic flowers and butterfly bushes. [i]Grandfather...[/i] Her face pinched with pain. They were dead. The only people who hadn't rejected her were gone, destroyed in a single flash of agony and pain. But she couldn't cry. It wasn't part of who she was, that horrible leakage of tears. Slowly, on shaky legs, she stood. Her fan was in tact on her back, and for that she was greatful.
