1. *chuckles* didn't make the round corners, dearest. I told you, all I did was pick out the peices I wanted out of a picture and added a border - plus cleaned it up a little bit. Hmm... *is searching for her other banners* But thank you for your comments. ^_^ I have never been artistically challenged.
2. Andy was waiting quietly for Cissa to come out, and looked over at Maria and Michael. The two were fawning over each other, and, like always, it made her nervous. Cissa returned, and Andy stood up. ?Miss? um, do you think I could find somewhere to bathe?? As always, Andy wasn?t afraid to ask. Cissa smiled. ?Of course. Follow me.? The small woman made her way to the stairs leading down, and Andy followed. They went down, and came out in a hallway. Three doors connected to it. Cissa led them out the one on their left, and Andy stood very still in shock. The bathing room was huge. A very large tub (the size of a swimming pool) was filled with hot water, and was filled with sweet-smelling bubbles. One wall was full of white soft towels, the other had small doors leading from it. Cissa explained. ?You go through one of those doors, and clean yourself. You?ll find soap and such, and when you are thoroughly clean, you can come out here and soak. You should find everything you need, and if you would like anything ? books, food, anything ? just ring the bell at that end. A small elf should come help you. But don?t stay too long.? With that, the small woman seemed to vanish. Andy stood quietly for a few more moments before heading for one of the small rooms. OOC: You guys can make up whatever you like for your rooms to look like. They?re likely to be midevil, and have an almost Native American-like touch to it. :) Other than that, you can make it what you want.
3. Allie wasn?t sure what happened to her. One moment, the lifeboats were heading for the island ? the next, she was lying face-up on a beach, and someone was leaning over her. She groaned, and rolled her head to the side. She hurt, and her skin felt raw. Sand scraped her skin painfully, and she began to cough up sea-water. Once her lungs were cleared, she closed her eyes and tried to sort through her thoughts. As she did so, she listened to what the people around her were saying. She was helped to sit up, and then she listened closely to the rest of the conversation. She frowned. ?My name is Allie, but all I can do is teach, and I know plants. I mean, I really know plants. I can tell what just about any plant is.? She looked at Zachary with a baleful glare, and said, ?And personally, I?m not sure I know what your problem is, but if any of us are going to survive, we have to work together.? There was a few nods of assent, and then Allie fought to urge to pass out again. "And now, I'm going to lie back down. I feel sick. If anyone needs me, I'm not going anywhere."Blinking rapidly, she lay back down, laying one arm across her eyes to hide them from light, and she fought down nausea. OOC: Rather short for a first post, but I don?t have all that much creativity working for me right now. -_- My posts will get better.
4. Cissa reappeared with a look on her face that could have knocked a dragon flat ? and did, on occasion. ?I apologize for that. We should have no more interruptions. We are near the cottage. Follow me exactly ? watch where my feet go.? Then she turned and walked again, slowly. Andy followed closely, looking back every now and to make sure the rest were following. Soon, however, the group came upon a cottage. I will describe it for you. It stood one story tall, made of solid white rock, and it had ivy twining up the sides, arching gracefully around and over two double windows. The windows had the shutters open, and curtains hung still but bright in the open places. There was a door in the center, and it was open. A warm, spicy smell wafted out of it invitingly, and everyone looked at each other hungrily. There was a garden surrounding the house. It was full of bushes and trees, herbs and flowers, and spread twenty feet away from the walls. There was a fence around it, and a walkway down the center, towards the door. In the middle was a fountain, and sitting at that fountain was a woman. This woman was unlike any other woman. Her looks were simple, but there was a gentle, dignified air around her that told the teens this woman was not ordinary. She had a gentle, heart-shaped face with a small nose and small, rosebud mouth. Her eyes were slanted and a gentle grey, and her hair framed her face in mouse-brown waves. It fell, unbound, to the ground, and some trailed behind her in the water of the fountain. She was dressed in a simple smock. The woman turned sightless eyes on the small group, and Andy went to her knees. The woman was an elf. ?Welcome to my home, children of another world. My name is Kirra.? Her voice was also gentle, but husky, and sad. ?Please, be welcome here. If you will follow me, I can show you a place where you may rest and eat, and Cissa will help me find you suitable clothing.? Kirra stood, and Andy was amazed. The woman topped her by two inches. Kirra turned, and led the bewildered group into the cottage. Inside, it was warm and bright, and the source of the spicy smell became evident. Sitting in the middle of the cottage, on an oaken table, was three loaves of dark bread. In one wall of the cottage, a fireplace held a warm fire, and over it was a pot of stew. Andy looked away from the food, and her jaw dropped. The inside of the cottage was huge. The inside was larger than the outside, and in one corner, a pair of stairs led up, and in the opposite corner, a pair led down. Along the walls, beneath large windows, were counters, some with food on them, some with flower cuttings, others utterly clean. Between the stairs, was a door. Kirra smiled at the confounded look on the groups face. ?I will explain everything to you once you have eaten and rested. Please, take a seat at the table.? Kirra began ladeling out stew, while Cissa cut bread (standing on a stool), and the teens were served. ~*~*~ All right, everyone begin eating. :) You can all do small-talk over dinner, and then Cissa will show you to your rooms ? which are right through that door.
5. Calling back over her shoulder to Candy, "And how do you explain the fact that you've never been a lucid dreamer before? I mean, honestly, Candy, you have never known you were dreaming while you were dreaming." Her bud scrunched up her nose, and snorted. "There's a first time for everything." Andy began walking backwards, facing her friends, but watching Cissa and the horse out of the corner of her eye. "Not with you. You've always been that way." Candy rolled her eyes. Andy grinned at the bubblegum-haired girl. "Besides, if you were got hurt in real life and you felt it in your dream, than, if we got in a car crash, and you were hurt enough to be knocked out, you would feel it here, too, right? And besides, when I have dreams that seem realistic, I never think they're different enough from reality to think they're dreams. Only the whacky, completely insane ones. This one is totally not whacky, just wierd. So, essentially, you aren't hurting, you think it's a dream, so it can't be a dream!" This was typical Andy-to-Candy logic. There was silence as Candy puzzled this out. Cissa chuckled. "Let me reassure you, child, this is no dream" They left it at that. OOC: Okay, I need the other players to post once or twice and then I'll get to the good stuff, all right?
6. Yes, I am finally making another thread. ^_^ Although I still only have MSPaint, I'm using better and better pictures, so hopefully things will turn out a little better. They all look nice to me, though. I'm mostly doing this just to get it out here where everyone can see. Falling 1 My new, current banner. A falling angel. Falling 2 My new and current avatar. Falling angel series. Mischievous Chaos My favorite so far. Same picture used as Falling series. Mischievous Chaos The avatar that goes with the MC banner. :) C&C wanted. (I warn you, I just used a picture, and picked out pieces I wanted. I didn?t do the text on any of them.)
7. Name: Allie Renee Carter Age: 26 Gender: Female Appearance: Allie is short, at only five foot one, although she is not small proportionately. A very charming and seductive young woman, she has chocolate brown hair that goes no further than her chin, naturally corkscrewed and often clipped back from her face with a simple barrette. Her face is heart-shaped with two large, deep brown eyes, almost doe-colored, and sometimes considered childishly large. Framed with thick black lashes, they accent her rosebud mouth and small round nose, giving her a pixie-ish look. Her frame is, although light and wiry, well-proportioned, and is one of the only reasons she isn?t often mistaken for a child. Her skin is almost mocha-colored, due to spending a lot of time in her garden when she isn?t at work. Unlike most lawyers, Allie prefers casual clothes, and thinks people feel more comfortable around someone they feel they can relate to. Although, she does own a couple suits, she tends to wear black jeans, nice boots, and a white-button up shirt under a vest. For court cases, she wears a pinstriped black and gold slacks and double-breasted suit. She always wears a tear-drop shaped locket around her neck, and a silver ring on her right index finger. Personality: Allie has a crisp, business-like air to her most of the time, although she radiates a comfortable ease around people. In large groups, she tends to be quiet and listens more than she speaks, and when she does speak, what she says is always very intelligent and calculated, slow and deliberate. She will not speak about someone directly unless asked a question about them, and tends to express only facts, unless directly asked for her opinion. She does not assume things, and will not lie. Around friends and family, she is a warm, if shy, young woman, with a gentle kindness and sincerity. Place in the Group: Allie is the peacemaker. Always seating herself between those who crave power and those who loathe it, she settles matters with a precise and firm hand. She is also the one who makes decisions, and nudges people along. Although she is the most likely of all of them to be a leader in a chaotic situation, she doesn?t show it outright. She persuades on compromises, and then she goes out and does things. She is the power behind the throne. Special Skills: Allie was trained from a young age to be a teacher. Although she did not end up teaching at a school, she still teaches younger lawyers how to act around those that are bossy and rude. Allie?s only other obvious skill is that she knows plants. Just by the shape of the leaf and the color of the berry, Allie knows if it?s safe to eat or not. Record of Events: Sitting quietly on deck in a lounge chair, book in one hand, iced tea in the other, Allie lay back silently with her eyes closed, soaking up as much sun as she could. As a light rain began to patter against her face, she sighed pleasantly, a childish look of happiness crossing her face. The light droplets felt deliciously cool on her face compared to the sun. She lay there for a while until the droplets became hard and sharp, and she eased out of her chair and headed below deck. A lurch of the boat sent her flying against the stairwell wall, and she clutched at the handrail, shaking. She made it below-deck, and was caught up under the arms by a sailor. He helped her to stay standing, and then get into a life-jacket. Faster than anyone there, she laced it up, and then headed after the lifeboats. She struggled against a wave of water as the door to the deck was opened, and felt the same strong arms lift her up onto his shoulder. It was times like this Allie loathed her small stature. Smiling confidently at the sailor, she allowed herself to be carried to a lifeboat. She was, however, tossed unceremoniously into a lifeboat, and was joined by a few sailors. As the boat was released from the larger yacht, Allie watched sadly. A hard gust of wind, and she clutched the sides of the violently rocking boat. All she could wish for was that she survived? Egads! Sorry I finished so close to deadline. -_- First free afternoon I've had in a week. Hope this works!
8. Kat unlocked the door to the basement quietly, and once she had the light turned on, beckoned to her best friend Amelia. The two went down the wooden steps, and Kat skipped the second to last one, telling her friend that it creaked. The pair made it down, and Kat began rummaging through the boxes. Then, with a triumphant noise, she held up a long, thick chain identical (or almost) to the one she kept wrapped around her waist. Amelia smiled. ?Kat, I appreciate you letting me borrow this.? Kat shook her head. ?It?s all right, ?Melia. In fact, you can keep it. With all the baddies running around here, you?ll need it. I?ve found it is the most efficient weapon against them. Wrap it once around their neck, and pull; snaps the spinal cord just fine.? Anyone not from Silent Hill would have blanched. But for Amelia and Kat, this was everyday talk and pretty common. Kat flashed her bud a smile. ?Now, lets go upstairs. I?ve got some really nice dresses to show you.? The two made it upstairs, and began raiding Kat?s closet for dresses to wear to the dance. Come time for Amelia to leave, it was dark. Kat frowned. ?Amelia, we should call your folks.? Amelia nodded, and did so. In the morning, the two woke to the phone ringing insistently downstairs. Kat picked up, and yawned into the phone. ?Kat here.? ?Kat. It?s Caleb. My friend Alex is coming for vacation. Could you come with me to pick him up?? Kat glanced at Amelia, who was stumbling down the stairs. ?Sure. Can Mel come too?? Caleb happily agreed. ?The more the merrier. We?re taking the Jeep. I?ll come pick you up at three, all right?? Kat agreed, and then hung up. The day, overall, was uneventful. Then, with Kat in hip-huggers, tennis shoes, and a purple halter, and Amelia wearing her traditional mini and tank with boots, the two waited near the front door for Caleb to show up. A honk from the Jeep outside, and the two quickly made their way out, and soon the trio was on their way to the airport. OOC: ^_^ Okay, first post done. Sorry if I made up a name for Alex?s friend, I just don?t think you ever mentioned it.
9. Andy carefully swept back her jet-black, pageboy-cut hair under a beanie and carefully applied mascara to only her upper eyelid. Dusting her eyelids with champagne-colored eye shadow, she looked at herself in the mirror and gave her self an approving smile. ?Andy! Andy, your friends are here!? ?Coming!? Quickly dabbing her lips with the barest bit of gloss, she kissed the mirror, and then flew out of the bathroom. Pulling on her black leather trench coat, she darted down the stairs, and out into the living room. Sitting on the couch, or just generally standing around, were her four closest friends: Maria, Candice, Andrew, and Michael. Michael and Maria sat next to each other on the loveseat, while Candice perched herself on the arm. Andrew leaned against the wall. They all gave her warm smiles when she showed up. Andrew grinned as he surveyed the very mix-and-match outfit his best had managed to put on. Tall and bird-boned, Andrea (commonly Andy) topped even basketball player Michael at near six feet tall. With her near-mahogany tanned skin, and bright blue eyes, the short hair made her seem very boyish. A miniskirt in white, fluorescent pink fishnets and knee-high lace up boots, added with the frilly pink top and black trench coat, Andy was a jack-of-all-trades. Her face slightly flushed with happiness, Andy?s smile lit up the room. ?All right, guys, let?s party!? Andy?s mom waved to the group as they all left. Andy, Drew, and Candice piled into Andy?s storm grey Mustang GT Convertible, while Michael and Maria got in Michael?s white Chevy. The two cars sped out of the suburbs and onto the deserted highway out into the desert. At night, all the group had to light their way was the cloudless moon-lit sky, and the promise of the big city on the horizon. The two cars sped on, racing each other on the empty highway ? until the road suddenly wasn?t there, and the cars broke down. A sharp crack, and the five friends passed out. Andy was the first to wake; as always, she was the first to recover whenever something happened, and the first to register shock and utter surprise. This succeeded, she screamed. Drew and Michael shot awake, looking about. ?What?!? Andy glared at them. ?Where are we?? The two cars were gone, and the five teens were lying on the ground in the middle of a forest. ?Well, someone?s perceptive. Please, don?t scream again. We don?t want to attract attention.? Andy looked up, and her mouth fell open. Standing gat the edge of the clearing was a foot-tall horse, and standing next to it was a young woman ? who was also a foot high. She smiled warmly, and her brown face glowed. ?Hello, my name is Cissa, and you are now in Faeryworld. Welcome, friends.? Andy gaped at her in total disbelief. Cissa snorted. ?Don?t just sit there staring, introduce yourselves. If we?re going to work together, we need to know each other.? Andy?s mouth opened and closed before she could make something come out. ?Wait, working with you? Why would we be working with you? We need to get home!? ?Miss, you were called here for a reason, and you will not be allowed to go home until that purpose and reason is fulfilled,? Cissa replied patiently. ?Now, what is your name?? Andy had to work again to make her mouth move. ?I?m Andy, and these are my friends, Michael, Maria, Candy, and Drew. Now why are we here?? The last bit she demanded. Cissa shook her head. ?I will explain later. First, we must get you to a friends place so you can change into something appropriate for this world. In your currently outfits, you?d scare away every creature in sight. Follow me.? Mounting up on the small horse, she set off through the forest. Andy scrambled to her feet, and followed her, hoping her friends would follow behind them. ~*~*~ All right, you all know who you play, and what they are like. Give me your essential reactions to your surroundings. The group has got a couple miles to walk until they get to the ?friends? house, so this should give you enough time to talk and get used to what?s going on. Just one thing: don?t get separated from the group. You might never find them again if you do.
10. Candy played by Frankie Michael played by Deucalion Andy played by Me Drew played by Wo Am I? Maria played by Kitty And Cissa is played by no one, so I will play her. All right, sign ups are officially closed. Hopefully today or tomorrow, I will start it up in the Arena. Don't expect all that much activity from me during the week, because I'm swamped with highschool, and am likely to take a nap in the afternoons when I get home. (Five o'clock is when I get up, and I have four hour and a half classes. School starts at seven twenty. I get home at three fifteen.) So I will post maybe once a day, so don't zoom on without me, all right?
11. I apologize for they delay, you guys. ^_^ With highschool just started, I'm short on time and sleep. Hopefully, though, this weekend I will start it. :) ANd looks like we got all our characters except Cissa, but that is all right. ^_^
12. *snorts* Cissa is very, very cool. A foot tall is a very respectible height! XD Sexy Two... yeah. All six of us haven't RPed together in a long while. *frowns*
13. Almost done. And Hollow, ask that in Music, Movies, and Tv. Name: Kat Aurora Dennis (Alley Kat) Age: 14 Gender: Female Appearance: 5?6?, 145 lbs, with thick, wavy hair in every shade of brown and gold, tinged with red. Kat?s eyes are slanted dramatically and are grey with charcoal black rims, Asian shaped. Kat has the build of an athlete, with tanned skin, toned muscles, and a rounded form. She has the unconscious gracefulness of a young woman, though her style totally kills that thought. She wears things from ripped up jeans and an overlarge T-shirt to mini-minis and tube tops. She has a huge variety of clothes, in all colors, though she has a lot of white and black in her closet. Starting Weapon: A thick, heavy chain. Personality: Athletic and friendly, Kat has never once failed to make friends. She has a friend everywhere she has ever gone, and no one has managed to hate her yet. Not overly friendly, and not overly nerdy, Kat could be categorized as ?Popular Type 2?, or the girl who?s friends with everyone. She is very smart and can hold intelligent conversation on any subject. She loves to sing, but isn?t very good at it, and she loves sports of any kind. Worst Fears: Being alone. Kat is literally afraid to go anywhere by herself. She always has the sneaking suspicion she is being followed, and sometimes, she is right. Once or twice she?ll do it, but not for long periods. This is why she and her mother have their rooms connected. Character Snippet: The soccer ball shot down mid-field, followed closely by Wildcats center-fielder, Kat Dennis. The girl?s long, wavy hair was pulled back in a ponytail, but a few pieces plastered themselves to her face as she raced down the field. A flash of purple and gold warned of the approaching Hurricane, and she put on a burst of speed before kicking the ball to a teammate. Kat slowed to a walk to breathe, and then shot off after the girl with the ball. ?Maggie, pass!? The red-head passed the ball and Kat shot it into the goal. The crowd cheered loudly and half-time was called. The girls went to the bench to break. Waiting there for Kat was Angelique, her foster-mother. THe woman had a strained look on her face. "Katerina, may I talk with you?" Her thick Portuguese accent was familiar to Kat. The girl frowned, but nodded. She and the woman walked a little ways off. "Kat, we may have to cut you out of the rest of the game. Your father is in the hospital and we need to go, fast." Kat's face became stony. "Them again?" Angelique nodded quietly. Kat nodded. Trotting back over to her team, she said in an airy tone, "Hey, coach, my father is in the hospital. My mother and I need to go. I'm sorry I have to leave, but it's really important." Her coach waved her off sadly, and the two women headed for the car. The drive was swift, and the two didn't stay outside the hospital for long. Once inside, kat let out a breath of relief. M'kays, anything you need me to change, just tell me.
14. I've also got Deucalion signing up as Michael. ^_^ So it's me, you, Kitty, Who Am I, and Deucalion. This should be fun. If it was the Sexy Six, it would go on forever due to having tons of by-play. ^_^;
15. Um. I sort of saw Candy as a snoty rude girl, but true and loyal to her friends. ^_^; I didn't visualise her in my head. And originally, Mike and Maria were twins. o.0 But I like Kitty's idea better. And this is my first RPG in a long time, so hopefully it won't sputter out and die like the rest. V_V And I have a feeling you'll get to play her.
16. Small talk now move to the Underground thread. (I thought this might go on for a while.) Basically our group has just been dropped into a fantasy world, and for a reason. Rather cliche', actually. But you will find out all about that when we start playing. Oh, mini-people, mini animals, fantasy animals from cokatrice to unicorns to basilisks. :) and all races of people you can think of.
17. All righty, although the actual RPG isn;t up yet, I thought an Underground thread would be a good idea. Here, post all questions and ideas, or just small talk about the RPG itself. :) Currently, sign ups are still open, and will be until Friday. At that point I will pick who is in and who is out, and I will post it here. Thanks!
18. You're just one on a list of older memebers that I stand in awe of. Your old-ness (OBwise) and such overwhelm me. :) A couple like that are Arcadia, James, Charles, and Panda. A lot of mods. I would say Annie and Queen Asuka, but I've already RPed with them before so I'm a little less shy around them. :) Blanko is teh awesomeness. I think you were here way back when I first joined, back in, what 2003? And yeah, if we have left over characters (which I suspect we might have), we'll all play them. Or, conversely, we could each choose a leftover and make them into a second character.
19. I'm going to edit my snippet, and characters name. ^_^ Then, I should be back in the running. (And I apologize for the first thing. ^_^; I was having serious issues.)
20. O.O Erm... yeah. ^_^; Not exactly what I was looking for. COuld you try a different set? Abstract meaning unique, not with a real theme.
21. *is loviong the sign ups* You guys are great. I love the characters, they are so unique, individual. ^-^ Especially Drew. *grins* Anybody else think it's incredibly funny that the girl's nickname is Andy and not the guys? *crickets* >.>; Sign ups are still open, shortening the date to Friday, at the latest, but so far you guys have got it. And that would be because no one else has signed up, but I'm not complaining; I really like your sign ups.
22. Name: Andrea (Andy) Larsson Age: 16 Gender: Female Appearance: At five foot eleven, Andy tops most of the boys she knows, and with a willowy, bird-boned figure, has been called ?skinnier than a post?. Her jet-black hair has a page-boy hair cut, only without bangs, often tucked up under a beanie or baseball cap. Her face is all angles with a very full mouth, with a nose that seems to long for her face. Above gently sloping cheekbones rest bright blue eyes that are almond shaped and slanted gently. Her skin is nearly mahogany colored, always tan, and she contrasts every tone in her skin with multi-colored clothes. Her styles varies depending on how she feels, and she often wears bright things, fluorescent colors to brighten her willowy form. Traits: Andy?s motto is ?My give-a-damn?s busted?. She honestly doesn?t care if you have problems, but if you are her friend, she?ll listen to you anyway. She?ll sit and stare out the window while you talk, take you out for ice-cream, and then tell you flat out what she thinks. She doesn?t care if she hurts your feelings in the process; she tells you exactly what you need to hear ? or what she thinks you need to hear. She is also on the swim team, chess club, and the art club. Character Snippet: ?Amelie, you know I don?t care. Go cry on someone?s shoulder who does care and give me a break.? With that, Andy whirled on her heel and stalked off, head high. Behind her, the young blonde teen flushed angrily and stalked in the other direction, ranting at the top of her voice. Andy?s cool demeanor hid an angry, and surprisingly, ruffled, teen beneath. What is that girl?s problem anyway? When will she learn I really don?t give a rat?s *** about her problems? She doesn?t have the brains God gave little green apples. And that?s saying something. ?Andy! Andy, wait up!? The girl stopped, and turned indigo eyes upon her closest and truest friend in the world: Candice. The girl came to a stop huffing slightly. ?Hey, Drew wants us all to meet at your place and go for a ride down to Salt Lake. You game?? Andy grinned, showing a row of fine white teeth. ?I?m there. We meet at my place tomorrow night at eight?? Candice nodded, and then ran off again, waving over her shoulder. Andy made her way to her locker with a sigh, and then left for next period. O-O Teh awesome Blanko-sama has signed up for my RPG. I feel honored. Unless anyone else signs up, you hold the place for Candice. :)[looks about] And nobody else wants to sign up! This is pathetic. [crosses her arms] All right, sign ups open till Sunday ? and if I don?t reply before then, don?t worry, I?ve got school and I?m busy. Thanks!
23. Andy carefully swept back her jet-black, pageboy-cut hair under a beanie and carefully applied mascara to only her upper eyelid. ~*~ HA! I am back and better than ever. I finally have found a muse that will write when I tell her to, and now I have proof. This is a RPG of five friends who suddenly get thrown into another world. Why, you will find out in the RPG itself. And why the RPG is named what it is, you will also find out. But not now. Now, as a matter of characters: These are the ones open to play. Andrea/Andy played by Squiggles Andrew/Drew played by No One Candice/Candy played by No One Maria played by No One Michael played by No One Narcissa/Cissa played by No One These are the ones I am letting you play. This isn?t a first come first serve, so even if someone has your character, go ahead and sign up for them anyway. I?ll go through and pick the ones I think are best suited. :) Now, for sign ups: Name: Age: (For the teens? between fifteen and 18, please.) Gender: Appearance: (Picture, or detailed description, or both. J) Traits: (Things that define your character as different.) Character Snippet: (You should know what this means by now.) I will put up my sign up once I get a couple entries. ^_^ I have to say, this is the shortest RPG I've done in a while. Have fun!
24. All right, I am currently looking for something a little newer, a little different. Not quite so cute as my current set. I'm looking for a set inspired by the song "Behind These Hazel Eyes", for two reasons. One, I like the song, and two, I have ahzel eyes. ^_^; SO long as it isn't cute, I'll pretty much be satisfied with anything. (And it would be better if you at least knew the lyrics to the song, to get the idea of what I want.) Yes, very abstract, and gives you pretty much the room to do what you want. You can include lyrics on the banner, if you like. Don't add my name, on any of them. Please and thank you! Skye
25. O-O Dear Gods...Tara Ried vs. Bosom Buddies. XD I think, although the picture of Tara is definately hot, my vote goes to Sun. Sun- I prefer the way the colors are pu together, all blended neatly. I also prefer that it is not focused on any person in particular, in the abstract, general idea of it to the more bold, singularly stand-out-ish picture of Tara. This one is softer, thus going with the "Angelic" look that Sun seemed to be shooting for. It looks relly nice and simple, with a gentle idea, not bold, but appealing. Hack- Although Tara is a favorite, this piece is a little to bold for my tastes. For one, there are too many things that stand out; the boxes in the background, the daring font, and the picture of Tara. You have more than one thing to look at, which makes it seem crowded. I have to say, however that your choice in pictures, and the spacing you used on the different eye-catchers made this a little easier on the eyes. Only advice: next time, find one main focus. Good job, both of you.
