The red head wrinkled her nose. ?[b]Interr-what-num?[/b]? Floof just shook her head. Meg shrugged, and then froze as she heard the tromping of blue feet near the shack. Pressing against a wall as Floof scrambled into her jacket again, she hissed, ?[b]What does it mean?[/b]? Floof said back, ?[b]It means a period of toime without government or control.[/b]? Meg brightened. Slowly she went to the back door, where there were no noises, and slipped out. ?[b]This is just what we need, Floof![/b]? [size=1]All right, theme change time again. This is going to be a lot more general than my other requests, so you have a lot of range on what you can do. I'm looking for something white, ghostly, and misty. Good themes to use would be feathers, mist, moonlight, dust motes. Maybe you could throw some celtic knotwork into the mix, tons of silver and white. Maybe a faded image in the background. The only thing I want definite is my name in the bottom corner (--> that corner), faded and rustic looking almost, blending well with the rest but easily visible. Just have the avata rmatch. [size=1]Sitting very still at the edge of the lake, Ashleigh closed her eyes and began to hum. A small wind rippled across the surface of the water, and soon the lake was roiling madly. Ash changed the pitch, eyes opening, and looked up into the sky. Sharply she cut it off and the air fell still, the lake calmed. Curling up, her knees up against her chest, Ash began to sob silently. Pearly white wings curled about her slight form protectively. A voice said over her shoulder, ?[b]Ash, you?ll solve nothing by running away from it.[/b]? ?[b]I?m not running away,[/b]? she replied bitterly. ?[b]Yes you are, Ashleigh.[/b]? Ash shook her head. ?[b]No, I?m not ? I?m only hiding.[/b]? There was a silence behind her, and a feather light touch on her shoulder before she was alone again. The half-angel whispered, her words floating out across the lake?s surface, ?[b]And I?m all alone.[/b]? [center]~*~[/center] The dimming sunlight made the blade of Ashleigh?s sword flash dangerously as she danced back and forth. Her eyes were blindfolded, and the other being in the room was having trouble dodging the determined soul. ?[b]Give it up, Ash ? I?m going easy on you.[/b]? Ashleigh didn?t reply as she swirled, sword coming up to block and parry. Then she sliced down, and stepped back, removing her blindfold and sheathing her sword. Her cool blue eyes looked straight at the demon girl who was her half-sister. ?[b]Deima, I?ll never give up. I?m better than you blindfolded.[/b]? The girl huffed, and whirled out of the glade. Ash looked up into the sky, and spread her wings, launching into the air. Flying higher, she turned west, and headed for where she knew humans were in trouble.[/size]

Opening the door, she ushered Spencer and Robert out of the room. Pulling out a pair of hoop earrings with red leather strips, she put them in her ears, and began putting on make-up while Alice got dressed. A touch of dark red-brown on her eye-lids, dusted with champagne, she finally touched up her eyelashes with mascara, discarding the eyeliner, and put on simple gloss. Coming out of the bathroom, she threw on her poncho, and waited for Alice.[/size]

Hearing an indignant noise from their door, she laughed and was promptly dunked. That reply was followed shortly by a cry of laughter and much splashing. Pulling the plug in the tub, Steph climbed out, and threw a towel at Alice?s head. Wrapping the white, plush towel around her body, Steph took another and wrapped it around her hair, twisting it like a turban. Getting out of the bathroom, Steph peeked out into the hallway where Spence was still waiting. Closing the door, she toweled off completely as Alice came out, and at that moment someone banged on the door. ?[b]?Ey Skye! Open up! It?s Crusader![/b]? ?[b]Just a second, I?m only half-dressed![/b]? Pulling on her pants, she quickly slipped her shirt over her head, and took the towel down, shaking her hair dry. Waiting until Alice was wrapped in a bathrobe, she opened the door and threw herself at Robert. ?[b]Pwee!![/b]? The noise was very funny-sounding, as well as happy. ?[b]Oh my God, it is so good to see you![/b]?[/size]

[size=1]I would love to have the Battle Arena back. I used to spar a lot, and it helped to release tension, cliche as that sounds. Of course, I do remember the n00bish battles - I had a couple myself. Our rules weren't half as strict then as they are now, however, so if we chose to bring the Arena back, it would be more controlled. When DK arrived, she was nearly hopping up and down. A huge grin spread from ear to ear, and she said, if not a little breathless, at least with a couple giggles, ?[b]I don?t know who to hug first![/b]? Alice was standing next to her, also smiling. Jacob was just smiling, watching her happily. Finally, Steph settled for flinging her arms around as many people as was possible, and hugging them all tightly. She just happened to grab Anne, Kelly, Alice, and Spencer, and she was in Heaven. An arm snaked around her waist and pulled her out of the group hug, and her eyes went wide as Sean grinned at her. She flung her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. When she finally let go, she was caught up in a hug by Jamie, and this nearly brought tears to her eyes. Once let go, she was laughing and crying all at the same time. Taking a few deep breaths, Stephanie sat down on a bench, and forced herself to calm down. She almost lost it as Jason and Tyler came through their gates. Needless to say, there was much hugging going on all around, between everyone. Meg still has no idea what a good pun sounds like, so hers tend to be a little wild. Really. The spelling sucks, too, considering she doesn?t care about school and only goes on days when she thinks she can get away with a food fight. Meg likes to hang out with the Peppers, and sometimes can twist their music around with her scratch-tables, but usually one of the guys will step in before she can get to the good part, so she tends to take some sharp words to their ears - no, really.
