They had a little trouble getting it in the door. Once the door was closed, Carter leaned against the wall to breath, taking off her hoodie. Her dark grey eyes (witch eyes, she remembered her classmates taunting) watched the students; she was drawn to the boy by the window. Conner, she remembered being told. He had the same blue edge as her. She didn?t know how she saw this, and why no one else did. Witch. That was what they had called her. Carter had scoffed at the idea; witches were just an idea the church used to scare little children into going to Mass on Sunday nights. But know the raven-haired teen wasn?t so sure. She could see different lights around each person, and some people had blue, like her. Witch. The world ran through her head again and again, until she realized she was staring into the eyes of the boy by the window. She dropped her eyes, flushing with embarrassment. When Carter looked back up, he was still watching her with a thoughtful gaze. Her natural thought was, [I]Is my hair messed up?[/I] She glanced unobtrusively at her flare-legged black jeans, boots, and black tank top.[/size][/font][/color]

Her brother is not a Zoid pilot, but he does repairs. Alia grew up in a four-person household, with only fish for company. Her mom was always out on patrol, and her dad was at work. Other than that, she had her brother. No friends, considering everyone she met thought her bouncy disposition was creepy, or stupid. Alia felt dejected as a child, and only her brother could make her smile. Her dad was, professionally, a Zoid repairer. He owned a large shop, and had many parts that you couldn?t get in other places. Sometimes, when Alia was 8-11 years old, she would help him organize, stock up, and make deliveries. Her older brother would sometimes set her on his lap, and let her drive. She was always thrilled to death. Of course, Bryce learned the trade from his father, and also got his dad?s old Zoid, the Dibison. Their mother, Libby, passed away in a wreck a couple years ago, right before Alia?s 16th birthday. The girl was devastated, and wouldn?t talk to anyone for weeks. Alia is now perky as usual, and has a couple friends. She still helps her dad out, and her dad now uses her moms old Zoid to do quick, small deliveries. Alia is really excited about the tournament; she hopes she can be recognized. Other than her mother?s death, her life has been pretty normal and docile. Alia has a huge reputation for the only person who can pilot a Lightning Saix in the mountains. Her home is nestled in the high peaks of a mountain range, and that is why her parents usually used airborne Zoids, or the Dibison. Originally, the Saix would have speared itself, or fell, but Alia, having grown up there, knows all the weak spots in the rock. She?s an expert at balancing the Zoids feet, and even better at shooting alongside the cliff-faces. The Saix had been locked up in the hanger for years, until Alia learned to pilot it. Of course, she couldn?t get a license for a while, and could only drive it on her own property. Her parents were reluctant to let her use the Zoid on the terrain, as it wasn?t built for it. But she proved them wrong. Alia loved towing broken Zoid parts up from the pits, and even had to tow the Dibison, part-by-part, up from the bottom. When Alia heard about the competition, she was thrilled. She wanted to show off her skill on field and mountain, but if there is an all-water terrain, she will definitely lose. If the Saix wasn?t built for mountains, it certainly wasn?t built for water. Alia has confidence, but lets hope she has what it takes. In my opnion, perhaps you should start at the beginning, maybe where students of Nasawa High School are gossiping/talking to each other about the new students that are going to arrive soon. Then they arrive and you can really kick it off from there. But regardless of how you want to do this, it's a lot easier if you outline or script what you want to draw first. That way, you already have a basis when you draw and you won't have to worry about what this character will say or what that character will do. [size=1][font=veranda][color=indigo]Nasawa High School is suddenly in an uproar ? and for a good reason. A group of girls have suddenly shown up, and their reputation has preceded them. The popular girl band ?Jiju-Beat? has stopped making records for a while, and the girls are now attending high school. [u]Paiko[/u]: the 15-year-old choreographer and lead singer of Jiju-Beat, she?s funny, fun, and ever popular. All the girls want to be her friends, and the guys? well, you understand. [u]Taga[/u]: the oldest of the band, at 17, and the quietest, Taga professes in keyboard. Her fast-flying finger action impresses even the best, and she?s no less popular then Paiko. Her soft, vibrant harmonies match Paiko in skill and feeling. [u]Isu[/u]: the 14-year-old American girl, and the goofy-girl type, Isu is impressive to say the least. Her talent with the drums is amazing, and she can do some of the hardest moves when she dances. [u]Lyllix[/u]: sexy, sweet sixteen, raven-haired Isu is more sought-after than Paiko. She plays guitar, and sometimes (when the group has a band playing for them) can pull off any move Paiko throws at her. Her own voice is heard on the groups CD, and she puts as much power into her singing as the rest. As the girls struggle through public high school, they get a real taste of bullies, hunks, jocks, and preps. Along with it is a fair share of Goths and techno-punk obsessors. Paiko?s grades seem to be deteriorating, and Lyllix is a little to obsessed with her math teacher. Taga becomes the most popular, despite her quiet disposition, and no one is ready when the Isu gets a boyfriend. The kids at Nasawa high school are soon introduced to the real side of the nasty, sexy Jiju-Beat, and it wasn?t what they were expecting. [center]~*~[/center] So what do you think?
