Alexis lunged forward, knocking Shaun to the ground. The two rolled just as Eddie fell with the force of his punch. Alexis got up, her hands up. ?What, you want to get us all killed?!? Quickly she swallowed it as Dagonet told them four more minutes, and she went to lean against the tree next to Imric. ?Having fun?? She asked, eyes sparkling. Imric just glared at her. [color=orange][size=2][font=times new roman]Doctor Steffanie Littleton was working overtime, and sighed audibly. She tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear, and straightened out her desk. She opened the center drawer, and pulled a peppermint. Popping it into her mouth, she closed the drawer, and put her things into her bag. Steffanie let her hair out of the tight bun it was held in, and felt a little more relaxed as it brushed her shoulders. Standing up, she flicked off the lights, and left the office, locking the door behind her. Doctors nodded to her in the hallway, and she smiled at them. She held a print-out of the e-mail she had gotten, and scanned it one more time. [I]Hanger Thirteen. 1400 hours.[/I] She made it out of the building, and glanced up at the tall hospital one last time. She quickly went to her car, and got in the neat and tidy Pontiac. She soon made it to her apartment, which was not far, and started packing. She didn?t have much to pack, mostly clothing, except for a few sentimental things. She looked at the picture of her seven year old niece, Danielle, and smiled. Slipping it in her suitcase, she was almost done. The doctor zipped up the suitcase, and grabbed her carry-on luggage. Shouldering the small tote/purse, Steffanie left the apartment, locking it behind her. She turned, and looked at it, and her hand went to the pendant at her necklace. Soon she was back at her car, after giving back the key to the man at the front desk. Slowly, but surely, Steffanie Littleton made her way towards ? what? She slid off his back slowly, making sure to avoid the sharp ridges that protected his leathery skin. As her feet touched the ground, she clutched Dryoga as a wave of dizziness hit her. ?There is wrongness, Dryoga? I don?t know what has happened? but the [I]mana[/I] is messed up.? She slowly regained her composure, and Dryoga turned his head to look at her. [?This is not good, Vylen. It involves dragons.?]

Vylen chuckled, and mounted her friends back. He spread his wings, and launched into the air. The girl instantly adjusted as she felt the powerful muscles bunch beneath her, and leaned forward. A couple beats of his wings, and they were airborne. They flew in silence for a couple minutes, and Vylen ?said, [?Dryoga??] She said it telepathically because it was nearly impossible to speak anyway. The air was lower up there, and she had to save it just to breathe. [?Yes, Vylen??] She brushed hair out of her eyes. [?What do you really think about this war??] Dryoga let out a mental sigh. In fact, I am a coward. ^_^ Yes, bluntly put, I know. But I am. I flinch at a soccer ball, okay?(SO maybe a soccer ball is an okay thing to be afraid of, but what can I say?) I just realized something? reading through this thread? its most likely that I would die for my brother than any one else in my family. No matter how much of a pain he can be, I love him to bits. I?ve actually taken blows for him, before. One boy was provoking him because he knew Lee had a short temper.. so when the older sister stepped in to ?get Lee away? I stepped in. I probably would have waited, but ganging up on someone is just not? okay, I?m getting off topic. But really: you never know. I have some funky dreams, though, so I never know what I would do. There is only one other person I would take a bullet for without a thought(not my parents, they can take care of themselves) and that is Alia, my BFFL and godsister. I love her inside and out, and I would jump in the way of a freight train if it would save her life. Same for Lee.
