Devvyn said, "Girls, I hate to point this out, but you might want to watch what you say around here. The Fed, not to mention pirates, are out here, and who knows who would wantyou dead." Ri shrugged. "Well, I'm getting something to eat. Anything for you, Jess?" The black-haired teen shook her head. "Nah. Just something to drink." Ri smiled, then left the room. The blonde outcast went to the kitchen/thing, and put ehr hand on the blue plate outside the door. It blinked twice, then burred as the door slid open. Ri walked in, her boots clicking on the floor. SHe dug around for a couple minutes, and grabbed some stuff. She left, and the door slid closed behind her. She opened the door to the cabin, and tossed the can to Jessemee. They laughed and ate for a little, then the subject turned to Karen, her brother, and her uncle.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

Jiae groaned, and sat up slowly. SHe put a hand to her head gingerly. "Damn..." SHe winced. Her head was throbbing. [i]Like I was drunk...[/i] The Waska girl looked around frantically. [i]Gothkir! Where are you? Jiae? Jiae! Oh! I'm... just a little away, you should be able to find me.[/i] Jiae got up, and instantley regretted it. "Oww..." She cursed in five different languages: English, Kiros, Waska, and two ohers. SHe steadily made her way away from everyone, and found Gothkir. Instantley her hedache seemed o disappear. "Gothkir!" She flung her arms around his neck, and buried her face in his shoulder. SHe looked up, angry tears streaming down her face. "I thought you were dead, Gothkir. How could you?" She was shaking.

Tanji hovered over the scene. She watched, silently, as the man got the guard to back off. She smirked. Lnading softly behind him, her wings folded, and disappeared. She brought the shadow element, and held it around her, making her unseen. The Winged-one followed him, and smiled as he confronted another guard. [i]He won't be getting past this one easily.[/i] She kept smiling, and came around behind the guard. SHe became visable, and saw Rana's shock. "No worries." SHe said, sword drawn, held carefully poised. SHe said, "We would prefer not to fight, guardsman, but we will if provoked." The guardsman turned to her, and looked at her. [i]I know what he see's...[/i] She twitched his mind, and he shrugged, moving away. Tanji saw Rana's shock, and bowed mockingliy. "Well? You wished him to let you pass."

Jiae looked up, eyes wet. "His name is Kalys. It means Dragon-breeze. Don't ask me how I know. He-he knows my full name. And everything about me. And..." She looked back down to Gothkir's head, between her hands. "I think it was my fault." The pain was gone, but she could feel something else. Jiae realized she hadn't said those words out loud. Sardik had heard her, but only Sardik. And only Sardik had seen it. [i]Kalys... he is some sort of guardian. Sardik, I don't understand. Neather do I, Jiae.[/i] Their eyesmet, and the Waska's both looked down to Gothkir, who's breathing had returned to normal. Suddenly, Jie felt tired. "Damn... its all the magic I did... to...day..." She fell backwards, her eyes closing as she fell unconsiouss.

Jiae dropped the staff, and her body hit the ground with a thud. She was convsuling in pain, and she was screaming. [i]Gothkir! What did you do![/i] She hurt all over, and she rolled on the ground, her body radiating heat and sparks. Her body convulsed one more time. She heard everyone gasp as something lept to her side. It was Kalys. [i]Jiae! Kit! You have to go to him! I can't get up! I feel like I'm on fire! He's not dead, not yet. You have to get to him![/i] Jiae's body cooled down, and the pain ebbed as Kalys' tounge touched her cheek. [i] Mount. I will take you.[/i] Somehow, the waska girl managed to mount the hulking beast, and the tiger started to run. Soon they came upon Gothkir. He was kneeling on the ground, choking up blood. He fell over, and Jiae saw the hole in his head. SHe quickly slid down from Kalys' back, and knelt next to Gothkir. As soon as she lost contact with Kalys, she could feel the pain again. This time, as she was closer to the Kippor, it was stronger. Kalys touched her, and the fire dimmed. Jiae placed a hand on his head, and spotted the revolver. "Gods damn this!" SHe forced her way through the anti-matter, and started healing him. Kalys helped. It seemed to be a different being. Kalys was helping ehr do magic that was otherwise impossible. Sardik, Lucifer, and Chibi slid into veiw, running hard.

OOC: ::laughs oncontrollably:: 'Snooped in Gods file cabinet'! GAH! IC; Kris was humming as she got up from her meditation. She had visited the spirit world, though not to the extent that she would have to tommorrow. [i]~Flashback~ Kris' spirit floated about. Another came up to her - Sandy. "Kris! What are you doing ehre?" Kris squeeled. "Sandy! Oh, Gods, I thought I would never see you again!" They hugged one another, and Sandy gave her a small kiss. "Whats wrong? I can see the pain in your eyes." Kris released him, and looked down. "Some ghosts have been lurking around our school, and attacking me, Joey, Hunter, Maria, and Rodney. Oh, and Paul. None of us have been killed yet, though Hunter and I were very close to death at one point." She looked up, and his baby blue eyes caught hers. "And we're planning to come here tommorrow night and supposedly get some powers to defeat them." Sandy's eyes looked haunted. "Trea, yuo could get trapped!" Kris sighed. "I know, Sandy, I know! But I have to! Joey and I are going together... " SHe trailed off. Sandy hugged her, then kissed her once more. "Kris, go back. I really don't want you to do this. Go ahead, defeat these ghosts, but then, forget about me. If you keep thinking about me, you'll never be happy." He whiped a tear from her cheek. "I want you to be happy, ashke." Kris held his hand to her cheek. "I love you still, Sandy." Sandy smiled. "And I you. But there is someone waiting. SOmeone who will love you and be there for you constantley." Kris' eyes lit up. "Hunter?" Sandy raised an eyebrow. "Hunter? Oh, you mean Damien. No, not him... hmm... he was in my math class one year... Tell him I said hello, alright?" They departed. ~End~[/i] Kris gasped as three spirits came through her wall. Each had a malicious grin on their face. Her eyes widened. "No!"

Jiae smiled, and stepped back. "Yeah, I know. Gods, I haven't had a calm day since... since I don't know when." She had barely stopped herself from saying, 'Since Dannin died.' Her green eyes clouded over, the usual gold sparks gone. SHe turned to Lucifer when his shadow returned. "Alright. A lyc. Interesting. Exactly how dangerous is this Lyc?" Lucifer turned to her. "We're not sure." Jiae nodded. "Alright, then." SHe gave veeryone a smile. "Well, I'm going off." The Waska girl darted out of sight. She blended well with the foliage, and her sharp eyes caught all movement. SHe gripped the staff tightly. Her mind whirled. [i]Maybe I shouldn't have said that... I don't really know him... But... I saw, in his eyes, what I was feeling. He felt what I do. He has been tortured his whole life. Maybe not exactly what I had - being beaten since I was two. Being used as a f-ckin' whore when i was six! Having to deal with my brothers - and lovers - death when I was just ten! And then... my best friend commited suicide. After that... I had nothing to live for. My mother used me to make money, and my father... he used me for both pleasure and money. Has he felt these things? I don't know. But I know he feels the pain of something like it.[/i] Jiae came upon something - it was tiger-like, though larger. It was about horse-size, and sleeping peacefully near a small spring. SHe caught her breath as its large golden eyes opened, looking straight towards her. SHe felt something solidify against her skin - a knife. Her hand went to it, and she felt the blade - it was like coral, with holes, and laced with something powdery. Her skin was on fire as she touched the powder. SHe cursed mentally, and pulled her hand to the hilt, and her skin cooled. The tiger got up, and walked to her. Jiae froze. [i]Do not be afraid, Waska. I will not harm you. Jiae Kit Auvreaeplith Wren. How do you know my name? I am your bond, of course.[/i] Jiae's eyes widened. [i] Kalys? Yes. You must go back to youyr friends, kitling. Before they worry. I will come if you call. For now... open your heart. Do not let your mind get in the way. I will also help you friends. I will appear to them, one at a time. Good luck, Kit...[/i] The tiger was suddenly gone. A mist had settled over the grove, and Jiae suddenly found herself back in the bushes near her friends. She came out. "Hey! I just..." She couldn't seem to remember what had happened. "I found a spring." Jiae struggled to think of what she had seen, and all that came to mind was the spring. OOC: Oi! Long one...

OOC: Determined to burn a hole in the floor with his yees... LOL, careful! He might do that! IC: Kris was at home, doing homework. SHe had missed a lot of school, and Dezerea, her sister, had brought home her missed work. Kris was working on Science at the moment. The red-head bit the end of ehr pencil as she thought. "Damn!" She erased something off the poster, and started to re-write it. The project was due tommorrow, and she had to color it in. Kris searched about her for her colored pencils, and dug for the green one. Bringing it out, she noticed something in the bag. It was a piece of paper. SHe got it out, and unfolded it. As soon as she did, tears came to her eyes. It was a picture of her and her ex-boyfriend, Sandy. Sandy had died in a car crash a year ago. They had been tight, and when they had gone out to party, Sandy had gone with his friends home. Kris had left early. His friend, however, had been drunk(unnoticably) and crashed the car. All four boys in it were killed. Sandy, Kris' bf, Daniel, Sandy's best bud(the guy driving), Matt, Kris' brother and Sandy's friend, and Jason, Kris' best bud. Kris had been traumitized when they were killed. She had gone into shock, and near killed herself. Now, Kris threw herself on teh flor, sobbing. SHe lay limp, the old pain of Sandy's death still strong in her heart. [i]ANd I just handed my heart over to Hunter... am I so stupid? If he dies, I definatley will... and Maria won't be there to stop me, like the last time...[/i] She managed to finish her homework late that night. She got out the magic things her aunt had gotten her, and started meditating. She couldn't go into the spirit world yet, but she could be ready. OOC: Different Maria. ^___^

Jiae opened one eye irritadedly. [i]What took you guys?[/i] She asked telepathically, nudging Gothkir, moving away. She wasn't about to speak out loud. Before Sardik had gotten there, they had made to much noise, talking, and had encountered another thing - this one looked like the other ones motehr. Sardik blinked. [i]Took us? Its been what, five minutes? Seemed like two hours to me. And I have a mental clock.[/i] Jiae blinked, and looked at Lucifer, daring him to make a wisecrack. Sardik slapped his hand to his forehead. [i]Oh. I forgot. Time is different here than in the real world.[/i] Jiae bit her lip in frustration. [i]BTW, Lucifer, don't ask. He may be a Kippor, but he's been through more than you would believe.[/i] The waska girl shaded her eyes with her bandagded hand, which she had ended up having to forget healing, and just wrap it. [i]Sardik, any other information you'd like to share with us? That might be useful? We've fought two of those cetipede things so far, and I'm sure they aren't the only species here.[/i]

Hmmm.... Well, I never really needed to try. ^____^ I am veeeery alergic to Sterp THroat, and if anyone recently had it(even a week ago) I would catch it, and have to go home. ^_^ And, last year in sixth grade, I always got migranes in math class because I am a very emotional person, and some of the guys in my class were b*tches. Or I would throw up... I never had to fake it. ^________^

I could, of course, but I already used my teleport spell today, and that was stressful enough. In this place, magic isn't really an option." She she sat down on the grass, sitting on her feet. She popped off the cap, and lay the staff down beside her. A cloth came out, and she started cleaning the blood off her weapon. Jiae cursed as the acid bit through the cloth and started on her hand. She threw the cloth down, and slapped a hand over the hissing wound. Without air, the acid slowed, and Jiae started healing herself - slowly, of course. "DamN! The f-ing anti-matter, is making healing near impossible!"

OOC: Funny. Funny. IC; Skye watched as Natsu cmae back in -alone. She nudged her with her foot. Then whispered out of hte corner of her mouth, "Nat, where did he go?" Natsu shrugged, and started eating. "He said later." She said to both of them. Skye sighed. SHe got up, and went to the restroom, and just watched herself in the mirror. SIlent, passive. Searching her own face. [i]WHo am I really? I can't beileve Natsu and Jacob trust me. Much less Kiruna.[/i]

Kris got up, and ran after him. He was far ahead of her, and she broke into a run. She caught his arm, and turned him to her. SHe kissed him full on the lips, her eyes wet. She pulled back, her eyes searching his face, and she said, "I love you." She threw her arms around his neck, and kissed him again. Her hair was determined - it fell out of the braids pulled behind her head, and the short soft red hair brushed his cheeks. Kris felt Hunters shock, and then his arms went around her waist hesitantley. She pulled back, only a little to look in his eyes. Their eye lashes brushed each-others cheeks like butterfly wings. She smiled unexpectedly, and said, "My mother used to call those butterfly kisses."

Jiae glared at him, and flipped silently over the things head - or tried to. It was huge, and she ended up looking straihgt in one of its eyes, then landing neatly on its head. It snapped its ehad up, and she dropped to her belly, tail swishing madly. She brought down her staff into its head. The cap rebounded, and her body shook with the recoil. She cursed in different languages, and dropped to the ground. The Waska rolled into a standing position, and started to run. A piece of adivce: Never stand in the way of a running cat. Jiae was going very fast, and grabbed Gothkir as she went. He stumbled to keep up, and when they were a good distance away, he wrenched his arm out of her grip. "What the hell-" Jiae glared at him. "Look. I just saved your life, and this is how-" She threw herself ontop of him, and forced him to roll out of the way as the thing crashed through teh bushes. "-you repay me?" The head of the monster whipped around. [i]Damn... Good hearing for a centipede.[/i] SHe decided to try something. [i]Gothkir. Don't make a noise.[/i] Gothikir blinked rapidly. Jiae started to crawl, crouched, cat-like, through the foliage, trying to make as little noise as possible. [i]The mother f-ing things have good hearing.[/i] Her tail flicked agitadedly. [i]Gothkir, follow me. Silently! And if your wondering, kordava is a word for weakling, idiot, or b*tch.[/i]

Jiae nodded slowly. There was something about him she couldn't place... "Alright. Did he say why he couldn't come himself?" Gothkir shook his head. "No..." Jiae shrugged. "Ah, well. Thats his own fault isn't it?" She asked jokingly, dropping into a scottish accent. She went normal. "Well, then, I guess we should get going." SHe waited, then followed him as he started off. The Waska could see his nervousness. [i]What is he so tense about... Does he think I'd hurt him... Hell, Kit, you did once, rememeber? THat would make sense. Very logical, in fact.[/i]

Jiae glared at the vampires back as he left. Her hand glowed a soft blue-green, and she could feel the effect. She shut out all nose from her mind, because the sound of bones shifting into place was unsettling. SHe could soon move with out to much trouble, and drew [i]mana[/i] from the earth, reviving herself fully. "Now I should be able to do magic without dying." SHe got up, and closed her eyes. She grabbed her staff, and glared at the forms of her enemies. The Waska girl focused her energy, and managed to teleport. She was at her home, and the door was still locked. SHe checked her wards - they were up, and sturdy. Jiae went to her kitchen, and found food: a almost-not-cooked steak, some soda, and a chicken tender salad. She chose the salad. Grabbing some salad dressing, she plopped down on the couch to eat. Jiae ate quickly, and soon left again, this time by normal means of transportation - if you can call walking in the tree ans on rooftops normal. She reached out with her slight ift of telepathy, and touched Sardik's mind. [i]Sardik? Its me, the other Waska. Jiae.[/i]

Tanji stood there, her eyes closed. Her breathing was level, and images flashed through her mind. SHe bit her lip, and made them slow down. The first one that came to her was a dark green aura. [i]Earth.[/i] She spoke as she searched him. "This boy... he looks young, but his contact wih the earth is milenias old. His body is 11 years old. His name..." Her borw scrunched up as she searched. "Kilik. Kilik Zenegati." She reached out, and thought she touched something... no. It was just a shadow. She kept searching, and found another aura. It was a girl a year older than her. "Rio... A girl with the power to consecrate. She is holy, and pure." Tanji opened her eyes, and looked at Sara and Kayin. "There was another, too. Her name is Mae. She ahs the power to control time. Her physical age is 18, but, being the Key of Time, she could be older than the Earth itself. I thought I had found one, but the aura slipped pas me, and it seems as if only a shadow." Tanji closed her eyes, and reached out with her mind, again, and touched something else. [i]Darkness.[/i] She gasped, and withdrew her mind from its reach. "Darkness. COld, so cold. He is older than you, Kayin, and his name is-" She was cut off, and dropped to the ground as something gripped her mind. "I can't say his name! He won't let me! His element is darkness, and his name is Karanlik!" SHe shuddered as she said this, and convulsed. A wave of pain hit her, hard.
