Rem sat in her Astronomy class at the high school, dozing a little. Boring... at least Skye's party was that night. Rem had picked up the cutest little necklace with the words "Walk in the rain..." engraved on the inside. She dangled it in her fingers and gazed at it. "Miss Rennolds! Maybe you can tell me the composition of a blue subgiant?" Mr Bolles blared at her. "Um..."

"You're NOT going to go off without me!" Kat tapped Shinmaru's nose lightly. "I need to get outta here... that dog smell is SO gross." She grabbed Shinmaru's left arm and dragged him out the door, pausing for a second to hiss at Makoto. "Dogs. Can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em without getting slapped with a lawsuit." "So, what do you do?" Shinmaru shrugged. "I work at the Burger Boy down the street, and bug Manic." "Sounds like fun. Why bug Manic?" "He studies too much. All those books would give me a brain-ache." "You ever seen his grades? That boy had better study, or he'll never get into college." Kat preened for a second, passing a hand over her face in a mimicry of washing it. "Maybe we shouldn't go get him... he needs to study for the SATs." She leveled a look at Shinmaru, who smiled sheepishly. "You ought to study too, hon." "Maybe you're right..." "DON'T TOUCH THE UNICORNS!" blasted from Smokey's apartment, followed by a moment of party-silence. "I'LL GET YOU, CHEESE LOG!" "On second thought, maybe we'd better go get him... Smokey'll calm down when he sees Manic, right?" "Right." The pair hurried to find Manic ASAP.

if i ever created an anime, it'd be based on an RP my friends and i did for about three months near the end of 2002. Several different anime stories come together, searching for something to save their worlds. Each knows something none of the others do, and they must work together. Sounds crazy, but it was really awesome when we did it. It had Gundam, Inu-Yasha, Dragon Ball Z, and a whole bunch of others together... it was a good time-waster

OOC: My first comedic RPG... let's have some fun! "Where do you find reindeer at this time of year?" giggled a soft voice from behind Xion. Kat brushed back a few stray strands of hair and grinned as she watched Smokey get a look at her. "Chicken Bone!" "Flying Teapot, actually. Name's Kat. Need anything for the party besides chips and things? I make a mean chocolate mouse." She tried to twitch the kitty ears stuck into her braid and failed miserably, as usual. "Ay, basura." Smokey looked at her curiously, muttered "Mongolian pitchfork-wielding battle crickets," and walked back to his apartment. Kat smiled innocently and looked at the rest of the tenants. "Manic? You goof, don't tell me you moved in here..." Manic's eyes widened a touch. "No. No no no. Kat, don't get any closer." Too late. Kat grabbed Manic and squeezed him in a hug, then smirked. "We're going to have so much fun I just know it!" She turned away to head back to her apartment, then pirouetted quickly to smile at Manic. "See you tomorrow... and you know, that guy who's having the party is kinda cute. Prrrr!" She waltzed back to her apartment, sidestepping quickly to avoid a growling Makoto, and humming Flying Teapot all the way. OOC: This should get interesting...

it's sometimes extremely tough to tell what gender a person is if you're just on the net and talking to them. i've run into a few people i thought were guys until we got into a real friendship... poor Mura-chan  As for me, i'm female and don't you forget it. My handle is a guy's name, but i prefer it to many female names... although i could have signed up as Manx. Hm.

Name: Reiko Nakamura Age: 25 Physical description: 5'4", black hair and eyes. Her face shows her Eurasian heritage although not to the extent that Tanaka-san's does. Reiko wears dark suits and white shirts while on the job, but prefers brighter colors while at work. Personality: Called insensitive by some, Reiko is simply an honest person, and very to the point. She's calm and collected, which are very highly valued qualities in her line of business. What is this business? Yoshi Tanaka's secretary handles everything that goes on in his world. Appointments, business lunches, scheduled hits, it's all in her little black book. Things in her hands will always be done, and be done well. Reiko spends her evenings hanging out at Henry's Bar, where the beer is good and the conversation will tell you things you never asked. Education and Training: Reiko is a graduate of the University of Southern Colorado (CSU), with degrees in accounting and business writing, and minors in Spanish and Theatre Arts. The second serves her well in her business life, since she has to pretend friendship with many people. The merger between Tanaka Corp and MacStruan-Forbes/Paragon is giving her a huge ulcer, but you'd never know ^_^ Driving Emotion: Ambition/Honor: Reiko wants to live up to her name ('little ruler') and become a higher-ranking person in the corporation. She's extremely talented... now if only people could really see it......

Name: Madeira Gutierrez (Deera) Willing to become a vampire?: Yes Age: 23 Gender: Female Description: A comfortable pair of jeans and a black leather jacket are a girl's best friends. Her bright red and deep green t-shirts highlight olive skin and deep brown-black eyes, and ruby or emerald clips hold back black hair with deep red highlights. Weapons: Biography: Deera has been fascinated by vampires since she was a child. The night-hunt is something she'd give her life to participate in... although things aren't such that she's quite ready to go outside at night yet. Fear of vampires is a large part of her upbringing. Deera's occupation is bar maid, and she hates it. Getting her bottom pinched every day, drunk customers, and a boss who is extremely perverted have contributed to her hatred of the human race. She also hates coming home each night smelling of cigarette smoke and alcohol poured down her dress. Ask Dee for her biggest dream? "A prince, to take me away from this ****." Vampires? "Heh, I'd love to be one, or even just meet one. Too bad they don't really exist." -
Number: 185 Given Name: Miki Gender: Female Appearance: Long (waist-length) dark hair, deep brown eyes, and a shy, gentle smile. She wears soft, comfortable clothes and a small anklet made of red-gold. Something about her seems very child-like, yet she looks about seventeen, standing 5'6" Bio: I guess I'm someone's child, but I have no memory of a family, nor of growing up... just of the here and now. Skills: Empathetic and sympathetic. She's also rather strong, and very intelligent. Personality: Not exactly silent, but quiet. Miki is intelligent enough to realize that something's missing, and she's willing to be led as well as lead. She doesn't cope well with anger or sadness, but no one would ever know because she always shows a happy smile and a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed outlook on life. Well... let's see what happens.

*hugs Crimson Spider* you poor thing. My day.. well... My brother is angry with me for tossing his clothes out of the dryer and onto the floor, forgetting that he does the same to mine every day. One of my best friends was arrested this weekend for 'flourishing' a weapon at a neighbor of another friend's... in December. Ay, basura. My parents are fighting again... this time about the divorce my mom and biological father are getting. (I live with my mom and stepdad). But on the plus side: i'm really enjoying the net for the first time in months, and i got to eat donuts for dinner! ^_^ Danke danke!

My favorite temple in OoT... jeez. i can't decide between the Forest Temple, the Spirit Temple, and the Fire Temple. i loved the Forest one because it was so beautiful inside and the boss was really quite clever. i loved the Spirit temple because of the way the whole thing was put together inside, and the whole Mirror Shield thing. And i loved the Fire Temple because i loved searching for and saving the Gorons. However, i really disliked the Water Temple. Confusing? You bet. Annoying? Heck yes. And i cannot STAND Ruto anyway >_>;;; So i played through it as quickly as i could, and went on to kick some butt in the others.

Wrestlemania XX, Where it all Begins...Again
Balinese replied to Heretic_Hatred's topic in Noosphere
I think the most disappointing fight of the night was the Goldberg-Lesnar match. It wasn't worth the time I spent watching it, and I almost feel sorry for Goldberg because he won such a worthless match. The evening gown match disappointed me simply because it was nothing but fanservice, I knew it, the guys I watched with knew it. Molly vs. Victoria was the high point of my evening simply because I got to watch Molly's head be shaved. Anyone else think she looks like Hardcore? This, on the whole, was a rather disappointing experience, and I think it's dumb of me to have spent $49 on the show. >_< -
Name: Rei Akumi Age: 17 Gender: Female Race: Saiya-jin/Human mix (more toward the human side) Weapons: A pair of kunai (small daggers) Appearance: See attachment Biography: Rei is a proud descendant of the Saiyan race, and will fight to defend her home and family like a whirling dervish. She isn't as powerful as some, but she's bright, cunning, and willing to do anything to help people. Born on Earth, Rei is the youngest of her family (four older brothers >_>). At the age of twelve, she decided to take off before the 'sibling rivalry' (read: brawling for food) got too fierce, since she never won. She did a lot of wandering before coming to West City and taking a job in the still-thriving Capsule Corp. She is content in her work, but feels the need to find SOMETHING else to do, as she gets bored with just clerical work. She has put in an application for acceptance to the space work program (think the Namek-Saga type spaceship, hunting for more intelligent life-forms). Personality: Rei is sweet toward people and would do anything to help a person in need, but threaten her friends and she goes berserk. She gets a little... exasperated with people sometimes, but she knows that their help is the only thing that will save the universe. She tends to be a little quiet and kind of shy, but living with brothers who fight for the last piece of bread at each meal can do that to you. Just give her a chance and let her get to know you, and she'll be your closest friend. Be warned though: she has a thing against evil-doers (Gohan -like  ), although she hasn't gone to quite Great Saiya-man lengths. Stats: Strength: 5,000,000 Defense: 6,000,000 Agility: 6,000,000 Speed: 6,000,000 Ki: 5,000,000 Intelligence: 8,000,000 Please let me know if you'd like me to change anything (else).

Name: Maria (Ri or ReeRee [only her father and uncle can call her ReeRee]) Moto Age: 16 Parent(s): Yugi & Serenity Favorite Card: Change of Heart Bio: When Ri was young, she took an interest in the cards that her father played with, and began creating new and better decks in her little notebook. Of course, they weren't that good at first, but when her father and Uncle Joey started working with her, she got better. She prefers working with the cards to create combos and working with duelists to reach their full potential. Apperance: Ri is approximately 5'6" tall, and she looks like a combination of her mother and father, with blonde-brown hair and purply eyes. She wears jeans and t-shirts, although on the first night of the tournament she'll show up in a dress (which she can't stand, even if her mother is Serenity). She does love jewelry, though, so she has a thin silver bracelet engraved wiith charms that stand for luck, love, and happiness. Millennium Item: her father's Millennium Puzzle Please let me know if I should change anything.

For me, anime is either a way to relax and lose the tensions of school, or a chance to think a bit more about the way art mimics life. I also have a thing for voice actors and seiyuu, and I tend to watch a lot of anime that has people like Koyasu Takehito, Hikaru Midorikawa, Eric Stuart and Scott McNeil in it. There's something about their voices that I find rather calming. I especially like the voices in Weiss Kreuz and Gundam Wing's Japanese versions.

I have had some really crazy dreams... none that last longer than maybe 2 days dream-time. What I think is really strange is when you dream and tell someone about it, and the next night they have the same dream. It's like karma, somehow.

Happy birthday, little sis ^_^ Name: Rem Rennolds Age: 17 Gender: Female Appearance: 5’7", refuses to tell her weight. Dark brown eyes, brown hair, glasses. I prefer to wear t-shirts, my bright red hoodie, and jeans, with my hair braided. (Too bad I don't have a current pic) Personality: Quiet, introspective, but ready to laugh and smile. I love my little sister and brother. ^_^ Bio: The eldest child, stressing over college prep, even though I've been accepted to a good school. Two months to go til my eighteenth birthday and high school graduation. My little sister and brother mean the world to me, and I'd do anything to make them smile.

Hana sat down in the Starbucks at the atrium, sipping a mocha frappuccino and pondering. She didn't know who on earth would send her such an odd message, and frankly, she was more than a little nervous. As her teachers and friends walked by, she nodded to each, keeping her mind focused on the text in front of her. "Hana Shinichirou? Please, come with me." A hand rested gently on her shoulder. "Mm. You're the one who sent me that message? I ought to smack you... Ri thinks I'm here to meet a guy..." She stood and pushed her wrought-iron chair back into its place, turning to meet the eyes of a woman who looked familiar. "Maria was always one for romance," the woman laughed, leading Hana out the door and to a small path under a tree. "Unfortunately, you'll have next to no time for romance now... or for your flowers, I'm afraid. You're in for the experience of a lifetime, if you play your cards right." "Wait. First of all, who are you, how did you know I'd be here, and how did you know I'd be able to decipher your message? Which, by the way, was rather ingenious... and quite attractive." "You are who you are, I am who I am, and I knew because I've been watching you for a very long time." The woman smiled conspiratorially. "And between us, my name is..." Hana leaned closer and half-smiled, expecting what was coming next and finishing the line with the woman. "Irrelevent. Yeah, I watch Trigun." "Good girl. Now, I came to see you because I need your help, as do eleven others. You, my dear, are going to help save the world." "Yeah. Right. And pigs will fly." "I'm deadly serious, young one. You are one of the chosen, the Zodiac Masters." "And why am I one?" "Your ability with plants, Hana. Little flower." The woman smiled gently. "It's quite obvious." "O...kay." Hana shrugged a little. "So how will I help save the world?" "I've told you about all I can. Just remember to talk to Greg. He might be able to help you." She turned away, then faced Hana for a brief moment. "And you might want to withdraw from the University. Tell Ri... you've found a man." The woman disappeared into the night, laughing softly.

Greeley, Colorado. The Central Campus of the University of Northern Colorado... twilight. "Tadaima, Ri-chan!" (Ri-chan, I'm home!) "Okaerinasai, Hana!" (Welcome home, Hana!) Hana Shinichirou plopped down at the desk in her dorm room and pulled out a botany text, doodling in the margins. Her glasses slipped slowly down her nose, and she shoved them back upwards without a second thought. "Ne, Hana, you have something in a package." Maria (Ri), her roommate, picked up a long, slender box and shook it gently. "No ticking or anything... wonder what's inside!" She tossed it to Hana, who caught it deftly and sniffed at it. "Guess I'd better open it... if it's a bomb, at least we won't have to go to class tomorrow," she joked softly. Pulling off the top of the box, she found a note written on rice paper and a bouquet. Noting her friend's silence, Ri moved quickly across the room and scooped the flowers from the box. "Pretty. You have a boyfriend I didn't know about, Hana?" "Baka! (Silly!) You know I don't..." Hana read the note and thought for a moment. "Now who would send me a message like this?" It simply read: 'I know you'll understand, soshina. The atrium.' Ri inhaled the scent of the flowers, a dreamy expression on her face. "Soshina means 'little gift', right? Ooooh! You have a secret admirer, Hana-chan!" "Don't be silly. Let me take a look at those..." Hana studied the bouquet carefully. "One bellflower: constancy, gratitude, I wish to speak to you. A sprig of bayberry: Instruction, discipline. A sprig of bittersweet: Truth, platonic love. Seven small branches of fir: Time One fleur-de-lis: Message. One plum-blossom: Keep your promises. One primrose: Believe me. One snowdrop: friendship in trouble. Some escholtzia: Do not refuse me. "What does this mean?" Hana puzzled for a second, then snapped her fingers. "Got it. They said: I wish to speak to you on matters of instruction/discipline and truth at seven. Keep your promises and believe me, for I bear a message of friendship in trouble. Do not refuse me." She tugged gently on her braid and thought for a second. "Ne, Ri, what time is it?" "5:45. Why?" "Good, I have plenty of time. I'm heading to the atrium to study... I'll see you later, kay?" "Mm. Ja, ne!" Hana left her dorm, unlocked her bike from the post in front of the house, and sped toward the West Campus atrium... someone's waiting.

So many... I have a file dedicated to quotes from anime that I love. A few of the best: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gundam Wing: "Stop making me repeat myself! It’s bad for my health!" ~ Duo "People who are kind people are shedding tears, yet no one understands them." ~ Quatre "I'm Duo Maxwell. I may run and hide, but I'll never tell a lie. That's me in a nutshell." ~ Who else? "I believe in peace that surpasses war. I believe in the soul that wishes for peace." ~ Quatre "If you're joking that's cruel, but if you're being sarcastic that's even worse!" ~ Duo "When nothing makes sense, I'll fight believing only in myself." ~ Heero "I determine my own justice." ~ Chang Wufei ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trigun: "You're the easily deceived type who cries himself to sleep every night, aren't you?" ~ Meryl "We're nothing like God. Not only are our powers limited, sometimes we are forced to become the devil himself." ~ Wolfwood "And if you keep your vision clear, you will see the future. What happens in our future is our own responsiblity." ~ Rem Saverem "A choice between two things. The forked road every person brought into the world must eventually face. A crossroad. Whichever path they choose, they lose something. Whichever path they choose, they are unable to find happiness. But are there really only two paths to a forked road? No. There are infinite paths we should take. There is more than one path we should take. There is more than one path into the future." ~ Vash "I want to believe in the hearts that feel sin." ~ Vash ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Weiss Kreuz: "Never forgive the bad ones." ~ Tsukiyono Omi "Any enemy of a woman is an enemy of mine." ~ Kudou Yohji "The future is not something to see, but something to create!" ~ Fujimiya Aya "This is a world in which sanity and madness are merely separated by a paper-thin border." ~ Brad Crawford "Your death is going to be slow so you can feel the weight of your sins." ~ Fujimiya Aya "Most people sell their soul for money. I did." ~ Kudou Yohji ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cowboy Bebop: "Man was not meant to live on carbohydrates alone, complex or otherwise." ~ Spike "And so ends another episode of Wasting Time With Jet." ~ Faye "Circles and eyeballs, circles are pretty, are tasty wonderful, just like black grapies." ~ Ed Women don't work on reason. ~ Jet "Germ girl! Faye-Faye stay away-way!" ~ Ed "I started wailing the blues when the doctor whacked my bottom on the day I was born." ~ Jet (spoiler for the movie)
"So tell me, is this world the reality, and the butterflies just a dream? Or are the butterflies real, and Titan just a nightmare I can't wake from?" ~ Vincent
"I only needed 500 more points before I could reach Spokey Dokey!" ~ Lee ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *sweatdrop* a little carried away there... sorry

The animes that have influenced me the most are (surprise surprise) Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and Gundam Wing. Why these three in particular? Trigun: Rem. Her sweet, pacifistic views changed how I saw the world, and her firm belief in "no one has the right to take the life of another' made me think about our country and its death penalty. It is what I say to this day, even when my friends say that if they ever find the guy who murdered our teacher, they'll kill him. Even if he is a murderer, we have no right to take his life. Bebop: Independence. Freedom. Things I long for, and have the chance to achieve very soon. Gundam Wing: Quatre. He's so kind and gentle... like I want to be.

I have to say, even without a multiplayer set-up, I'm enjoying Crystal Chronicles. It may not be a typical Final Fantasy game, with an ending and a linear path, but I like the way you have the freedom to go where you like and to be who and what you like. I love the little tiny side things like sending letters to your family to make them happy and painting Mog different colors in the moogle nests. I also like the real-time thing. I've always loved games that were real-time attack (Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask come to mind), and the fun for me is in chasing the enemies down or having them run up to me and smashing them ^_^ I agree with Zidargh though: the quality of Final Fantasy doesn't make it the God of RPGs, and some of the FF games have been pretty awful. It's all about making money, and Square Enix is doing it hand over fist.
People who make fun of special ed. programms even though they don't understand them. For any one else who's ever been in one, I'm sure you'll share my sentiments. Actually, this applies to people making fun of things they don't understand in general. However, it's really the specific scenario I brought up that makes me want to bash their sorry faces in, regardless of whether it was myself or another group who was mentioned.
*agrees wholeheartedly* My list: People who think my friends and I are stupid because we attend an alternative high school So we needed a smaller learning environment, more one-on-one teaching, or something else the large school couldn't give us. We're probably smarter than you, jerk. People who hate some type of music because of one particular artist They hate rap because of Eminem, hate rock because of Metallica, no matter, it's dumb to think all artists are the same. Typos/Bad grammar/INTENTIONALLY bad grammar I'm a teacher's kid and an Education major. This just irritates me to no end. Misuse of words It's 'myriad colors', not 'a myriad of colors'.
Actually what my mom siad they were were cow testies. Yuck, she said she had them and liked it.   Thankfuly I've never tried them. *shudder*
Correct. They are the testes of a bull. Actually, the ones I ate were from a buffalo... I was eight and my older brother didn't tell me what they were until I'd tried one and liked it. And they are pretty good. Farto, I concede. :p

As long as I can remember, I've wanted to be a teacher or a psychologist/psychiatrist. I love working with people and opening their minds to new ideas, and I remember when I was younger and fighting my depression that I had some really awesome teachers who helped me work at my highest potential. So I've applied to the University of Northern Colorado, which is the best university for teachers in the state... cross your fingers, guys. ^_^
