Originally posted by Snodin I KNOW WHO IT IS!!! ...At least I think I know. The manga explains that in Egypt, some priests tried to control "Kas," or people who represented a card monster's spirit or something. That girl was the Ka of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
Kind of- 'Ka's are spirits within the people rather than the people representing something. For those who haven't read it and wanna know, in the Ancient Egypt arc of the manga,
Priest Seto discovers the girl (called Kisara, I think) while looking for Theif Bakura. This Ka is incredibly strong and Seto even believes it to surpass God. He wants to own this particular Ka, but for him to possess it requires Kisara to die so he can seal it in a stone tablet.
Some things don't change do they?

This is the highly religious people thinking all mentioning of Magic is evil again. They've changed 'Magic Cards' to 'Spell Cards'. Spell counters are the same as the normal magic counters, but with the name change, I think.
-
Basically they're among a special type of monster called a Union monster, as they can be put together in different combos without using Polymerisation. All three of the X, Y and Z dragons can combine to make one big monster, put together in two if all three aren't available, or played as single monsters.

There's 27 in the original season. What' s strange about it? Seto and Serenity's hair colours are completely different. Seto's green and Serenity's purple. Heh, that's all I know.
Your soul is taken by the rules of the Curse of Orchialos (sp?)
, or something along that line.

You wanna know why Seto looks like he's got his boxers backwards- Obelisk-itis. He was so happy that he got Obelisk, he goes all arrogant and thinks that not even the other God card-holders, Yugi and Marik can beat him- despite the fact that Obelisk is probably the weakest of the 3 cards, and isn't really even an Egyptian God anyway. He's merely driven by revenge against Yugi and obtaining the 3 God cards. It's pride and greed, plain and simple.

Yata-Garasu Group: Fiend/Spirit Type: Wind Level:2 Atk: 200 Def: 100 This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, your opponent skips his/her next Draw Phase.

Curse Breaker (or De-Spell) is not a Quick-play Magic Card, which is what it had to have been to work in the real card game and save the Dark Magician. If that's right, I'll throw out the question again. It takes me ages to think up questions, I prefer just to answer.

Happy Lover (past), Mask of Darkness (present), and Doma the Angel of Silence (future). Next question goes to whoever posts one first.
Originally posted by shadowfire I sure this doesn't go here but I'm doing it anyways. I've read that in the english version there was an episode cut out called" Winning throught Intimidation" that shoud've been aired between numbers 13 and 14 but wre chopped up and combined to make episode #13 "Panik Attack". I've also read that in this episode Panik raped Mai . Is that true or just some stupid stuff made up. Who ever has seen the japanese versions might know the truth of this
"Light at the End of the Tunnel" & "Winning Through Intimidation" was combined together in the US to become "Panik Attack". Every other country got the two eps seperately. There's absolutely no mention of a rape even in the manga as far as I know.

So far he's played Dark Magician Girl twice, vs. Arkana and Y. Bakura, and is set to use her again. I might have some more info somewhere, PM me if you wanna know.

Gotta agree on the Marik front there, not to mention the fact that Y. Marik's voice is screwed beyond belief and almost unbearable to listen to. And the whole stretchy face bit, ugh, don't get me started.

Shadi wields the M. Key and Scales. His family has guarded the tombs of the Pharaohs since forever. In the manga, he uses the Scales to weigh a person's crimes against the feather of 'maat' (Justice, order, truth). If the crimes are heavier, they get eaten by a monster called Ammit. (heheh, I'm an Egyptian mythology nut, I could go on... but I won't) In Pegasus' case he tried to give him one of the M. Items, coz if it wasn't his destiny to find them, he'd go bonkers. Question: In "The Gauntlet is Thrown", how does Yugi mis-describe the Dark Magician?
-
Quick note: I put in those non Dark-type monsters coz I don't have any decent Dark-type ones to use. I just needed some raw power in there, and they're the best ones to use until some Dark-types show up.
Originally posted by Hells Fire He could have regained Exodia from the the first Rare Hunter.
You forget the obvious fact that when Yugi challenged the Rare Hunter, he said that he must return Joey's Red Eyes if he lost.

My good old Dark deck, but I've managed to snag a few more theme-based cards. Still, there's high lvl 4 hitters of other types as well to back it up. The monster was Battle Ox. Although Battle Ox has less attack points, his Earth afiliation (for some reason) had an elemental advantage against Fire-type monsters in this ep. Have to post a question later, class now.

He called it Spiritualistic Medium. Here's a list of the ones he used from Duellist Kingdom. White Magical Hat Morphing Jar x2 Electric Lizard Man-Eater Bug Lady of Faith Change of Heart Just Desserts

The latest shown in the USA is 2 eps ahead of that, "Awakening of Evil, Part 1", which is Joey vs. 'Marik'/Odion. However in Canada and the UK, we're up to "The Two Faces of Marik, Part 2" where
Y. Marik beats Y. Bakura and normal Marik.
Embodiments/ Avatars of Apophis. How many cards were in the 'all-powerful' combination Tristan was lying about to Joey in front of Serenity?
Originally posted by Snodin And when Tea took the Millennium Ring at the end of the latest episode, she giggled evilly, so I'm guessing that the spirit of the Ring will now look and sound like Tea, for as long as she possesses it.
Nah ah, Marik's still got control over her, and he influenced her to take the M. Ring after Yugi beat Bakura.
He tells Tea to give it back to Bakura when he tries to take back his body from Y. Marik.
Well, I don't have that particular type of habit, but what I tend to do is to just take ordinary stuff and then seperate any layers, like in cakes/desserts or completely blend them together, like trifle.

For eps up to The Two Faces of Marik (2)", Yu-Gi-Oh! The Episode Domain is quite good.
