1. In the originals, Final Fantasy wasn't all about character development and side quests. Hearken (yes, I said hearken >>flame shield
2. I have no systems save my GBA, DS, and PC. So I have a more portable view on the whole RPG matter. 1) Golden Sun 1 and 2. Yes, they are shortish in RPG standards as they go. However, they have EXCELLENT storylines, a solid battle system, and on a whole are lots of fun. Combine them to make the basic full game, and you've got at the very very least 40 hours of Gameplay, unless you rush through both. Link your file over. 2) Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls: The retro thing is pretty cool, but these games..a little too retro. Though they're Final Fantasy, the pale in comparison to GS1and2 because of little plot and absolutedly no character development. You simply have no idea who the characters are at the end of the game. 2 was better than 1 in my opinion, though. 3) Megaman Battle Network: I enjoyed the 1st one I played, which was the 2nd. Good and fun, but for the more experienced and well played RPGer, you'll probably be bored soon with this one. Fun, but once you've played one, you've played them all. All I can think of off hte top of my head.
3. Kurama may not have ultra explosive godmod power, but has he ever lost? No, not really. If you wanna count that match in the dark tournament, be my guest. Uh..he might have lost a battle now and then, but c'mon, you know the average. Now, I'm thinking either him or Heie. Kuwabara? Gimme a break, he wins about an eight of his fights. Hiei has the sheer strength and will to never give up, but is desperately lacking in tactics. Kurama strikes me as the best as well, because he has awesome power (Yoko-Kurama/Fox demon Kurama, anyone?) and the strategy. Tacticians rule! That's why Quatre owns all the rest of the Gundam pilots! ~RtT
4. I listen to a wide range of J. Not quite sure if it's J-pop, J-rock, etc. I listen to whole lots of anime music. Got selections from: Yu Yu Hakusho Naruto Inuyasha Noir .Hack/sign/lotTB And many inbetween. Yeah...its a weird thing for a normal American to listen to, and most people don't know, but what the heck, I'm on a forum. It's not all I listen to. I listen to good video game music, and some contemporary rock. Not hard rock though. I'll listen to some Maroon 5, Coldplay, Linkin Park, etc. ~RtT
5. Yeah. I just hope this isn't a one time thing. And do you think she can do anything but the most basic technique, the substitution? I'd like to see her pull off some nice moves (though that trap was pretty cool). Now, I just have to wait another four months to see her fight continue. :animedepr ... ... :animecry:
6. 27. Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons 28. Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages I call this Legend of Zelda: Saga of the Oracles (or Oracles Saga), because if you've beaten one, linked your file over, and beaten the other, you know that playing one is only half the story. Combined, these make one of the best Zelda games ever. 29. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 30. Legend of Zelda: The Wind Fish. 31. Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken. I'm a HUGE Fire Emblem fan, can't wait to get Sacred Stones!! 32. Spider Man (original one for PC. I'm sure the graphics would be 3D crap now, but the game is quite good) 33. Spider Man the Movie. Good battle system and all, but I think I may have liked the 1st better. I didn't play the newest one, because these 3D spiderman games get really repetitive after 2, believe me. 34. Spider Man: Doc Oc's Revenge. Another GB spiderman, good though. I know theres some others, but I've been playing vid games for a while, so new ones always pop out.
7.
I'm Looking forward to the New Legend Of Zelda I'm a hardcore fan of Zelda with Electronic Gaming Magazine had the 4 page info of the game i jumped for joy to finally see new screenshots. The Gamecube has been underestimated because of the games it has to kiddish in some eyes Resident Evil 4 was a awesome game with an M rating only for the gamecube Lets hope Zelda will top the ratings of RE4 with a lower ESRB Rating :animesmil
Hey Itachi, I'm a big Zelda fan too. I've played Ocarina of Time, some of Majora's Mask, almost beaten A Link to the Past, beaten Oracle of Ages and Seasons (I call it Legend of Zelda: The Oracles Saga, cause if you just play one, you've really only played half the game: believe me, if you linked over and beat the second one, you'd agree), and beaten The Wind Fish. Me and my Zelda fan friends are beyond excited. It looks like it might be the best video game of the year. ~Ryo
8. Yay! Other people that share my enjoyment of japanese songs. I have a fairlylarge collection of anime music, but I daren't tell my contemporaries. Wow..that's one heck of a question. I would probably have to go with: #1. Over the Fantasy - from Final Fantasy Unlimited. Best. Song. Ever. 2. Oh man..so many. Fukai Mori, Hemisphere, the Lodoss War soundtrack, Crystal Chronicles main theme, Romancing Train, oh, oh! I think Yasashii Yoake would have to be number 2 or close. This is just too hard, that's all I can list.
9. Okay, lessee... 1. Sonic Advance - As some of you might know, I'm a big Sonic fan. Got my website (www.thesonicworld.net) so I've beaten a large amount of Sonic the Hedgehog games. 2. Sonic 3 3. Sonic and Knuckles 4. Sonic 1 5. Sonic 2 6. Sonic Triple Trouble (GameGear) 7. Sonic 2 (GameGear) 8. Sonic Adventure DX (PC) - Yes, they made it for the PC. And it was freakin' sweet. 9. Megaman Battle Network 2 - A good solid game, to play once. Once you play one, you've basically played them all, or so it seems with 1, 3, and 4. 10. Megaman Battle Network 3 - Blue Version. Think that was the version. 11. Kirby's Dreamland 2 12. Kirby's Dreamland 3 13. Kirby - Nightmare in Dreamland 14. Rayman 2 - Awesome Game. Captivating storyline, cool characters, did I mention great plot? 15. Rayman 3 - Hoodlum Havoc. A piece of dirt compared to 2. Bad characters, cruddy storyline, horrible jokes. A HUGE disappointment. 16. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - Mediocre platformer, really. 17. Frogger 18. Frogger 2 - Swampy's revenge. Really, these frogger games are kiddy games, but they were nice when I was 10. 19. Megaman Zero 2 - Awesome, need to get 3 one of these days. 20. Bomberman Max 2 21. Pocket Bomberman - For Game Boy/Color. Awesome game! I got the Sword of the Sun and saved the day. 22. Pokemon Blue Version 23. Pokemon Gold Version 24. Pokemon Sapphire Version - Unless they really overdo it, I'll never play another Pokemon game again. 25. Golden Sun - One of the Best RPG's ever, undoubtably. 26. Golden Sun Book 2: The Lost Age. - I pray they make another. Well, that's all I can thnk of off the top of my head. I am a gamer, indeed. Video Gamer subjob Anime Fan. I know I've beaten more than this, but this is a fair list.
10. Grammar Panzer, you are officially da man. I'm a huge Sonic the Hedeghog fan. My sonic website is www.thesonicworld.net . But yes, anyone active in the Sonic community will know of the huge controversy over the new shadow game. Personally, I'm all for a game with shadow, but against the gun. It goes against every aspect of the entire Sonic the Hedgehog series, being E, an awesome game for all ages. And no one say, "It's not part of the Sonic series! It's Shadow!" Give me a break. That's like saying Knuckles Chaotix, or Tails Sky Patrol aren't part of the series. Yes, they are spin offs, but they are definetly part of it. Despite the controversy, I am also looking forward to the Shadow game. But, good DS games are at the very very very top of my list. Desbreko, you're quite cool as well. True, I have heard many say that the single player mode could get boring. Considering I played it once, for about an hour+, over a year ago, I'm probably not a very good authorty on the matter. However, I had more fun playing it in single player than in multi. I loved the mysticism of the game, and put my tv and myself under a blanket and played. Let me get absorbed in the game more. I've been dying for this game to come out for six months. If they're is no word of it at the E3, I think I'll commit sepukku :animeangr . Actually I love my life, and would never do that. But I still pray it comes out soon.
11. Hey All, I have to say, I thought that the end of Naruto volume 6, when Sakura finally fought, was the most awesome fight in Naruto so far. I've been waiting for Sakura to fight since the very beginning of the manga, and she hasn't. She said everything I'd been waiting for her to say, "I've always sat on the sidelines, they've always had to protect me," etc. All the staff I was saying outloud while reading the manga and watching her whimper like a coward. When she pulled out those kunai, I mean..wow, I thought it was unbelievably awesome. I wanted to know what other peoples reaction to her fighting were. Personally, I'm dying to read Naruto volume 7. Post your opinions, I'm looking forward to reading them. ~Ryo the Tactician.
12. Believe me, I know what's that's all about. I'm in a three kid family, and I happen to be the youngest. To top it off, I am a twin, and my other older sibling is a temperamental teenage sister. My brother and I seem to clash more and more every day. Honestly, we just see too much of each other. We got to the same school, and we have The EXACT same schedule. Yeah, that gets old. Fast. I love both of my siblings, but a lot of the time i just need time away. My Room is my sanctuary. My laptop, my music, my video games, my window. I hang out in my room. Good way to get away from it all. But siblings. Oh yeah, I know all about how that can be.
13. You can see a lot of the deep thoughts/quotes I think of in my signature. Many of these spawn from my high school. It is very, very difficult. I have six honors classes, and frankly, every day is another full fledged melee to stay alive. At least, that's how it feels when I have 3 examinations and a debate, homework in my classes, and 3 long term projects. That's why you'll see, "I will Survive", "If you try, you can do anything" etc, in my signature. "Soil is my Power"...I just like! Go Final Fantasy Unlimited. One that I had to take out due to space issues was another one I like quite a bit:"We can make it, if we all stick together, we won't give up not ever, it's easier with my friends by my side." Completely true. Ask Retribution :animesmil
14. Hey all, Ryo the Tactician here: My number 1 looked forward to game, would have to be Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles DS. If any of you go to the CCDS board on Gamefaqs, you'll know I fell in love with the game the first time I saw the commercial. Though I only played it once, over a year ago, I have it on my desktop, screensaver, and I own the soundtrack. I never got a change to really play the game, as I have no consoles. Except my DS. I want this game so bad..you all have no idea ;) Number 2 would have to be Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. As you can see by my avatar, I'm a big Fire Emblem fan, and that's high on my list. What I really want is some good DS games. PSP is owning the portable market in games, and DS really needs some good ones. All they're throwing out is mess like Poker and Pac Pix. Come on, I doubt that's what the fans really want. Can't wait till E3, hopefully all of us can get some news on our looked forward to games. ~Ryo the Tactician
