Well Sting, I would love to tell you what episode it was but I didn't catch it either. Ever since Toonami changed running time (4am where I live) I haven't watched it at all. If you told me what the last episode you saw was, I could probably help you out. I haven't watched an episode of YYH ever since Funi was finished dubbing it. Pretty sad, huh?
Well, aside from my being all hot and bothered over missing out on
Wrath's (?)
big debut...
:animeangr I missed that as well (heck, I didn't even know FMA was back on the air until a couple of days ago)! I was rather looking forward to hearing Wrath's english voice. I guess I'll have to watch it tomorrow if I can even stay up that late. Usually its watch naruto and then bed. Lol

Naruto, without a second thought. I think Inu Yasha drags and to me it gets quite boring and repetitive. I like the storyline of Naruto better than Inu Yasha and I like the characters a lot more. But I still like Inu Yasha, just not as much. I think that if they didn't have Miroku in Inu Yasha that I probably wouldn't even consider watching it. Oh yeah.. Naruto: Girl - Temari Boy - Lee Inu Yasha Girl - Rin Boy - Miroku
I just hope the final arc doesn't feel too compressed, although it'll be a while before I get to see it (I hope they announce a box set soon).
I think the last arc is just as good as chapter black. It gives you a more in-depth look at Hiei and Kurama's past and a bit of Yusuke's. It's quite interesting because
Hiei, Kurama and Yusuke are put against each other when they return to demon world.

"The fights here are fantastic, but I wish it wasn't so Yusuke-centric." And then
he DIED.
Talk about wish fulfillment. :animeswea
I know... and Hiei didn't fight until the end and when Yusuke did
die
I was seriously like "You have got to be kidding!". I thought the challenges, like the games, were more interesting than the fights. And Itsuki was underused. I really liked the part were Itsuki tells about how he met Sensui and I think they should have added more about their past. Otherwise, I loved that saga.
I don't have them all on DVD...most of them are VHS. I think around 13-15 of my volumes are DVD's, but I'm not sure at the moment because my friend is borrowing some of them. I've been collecting them since Spring 2004... And I have the last volume now! I plan to watch it on my birthday, and that's coming up very soon! So nobody spoil it for me, ok?
Oh I see. I don't know how long I've been buying YYH DVDs, I just know it was when they stopped the series on TV right before the Karasu vs Kurama fight. Well you're going to have to tell me what you think of it when you watch it XD. But I have to bring something up. Does anyone else own the Bandits and Kings DVD? Because on mine, for some reason it just started to skip one day when I was watching it and then another friend of mine had the same complaint about the same volume. Is it just me or do the Bandits and Kings DVDs have something wrong with them?
During one of TRSI's FUNimation sales. The problem with this is that the studio sales repeat about every six to seven months (e.g. there was another Funi sale in... July, I think, so that means the next one will probably be the spring).
Ahh... I see. Pretty long wait >_< The other problem is that I have some DVDs from every season so that means if I buy the box set then chances are that I'll have a couple DVDs that are the same and I don't want to spend money on something when I already have it XP But I still need the first half of the DT so I'll keep your information in mind when I'm looking for some sales.
I'm glad the entire Chapter Black saga is being bundled in one box. I've heard really really great things about this arc. Plus Sensui sounds unbelievably cool.
It is a really cool saga. I like it the most because of the continuous "tests/tasks" that they have to do (if you would call them that @_@) . There are more bad guys with unusual powers and what-not. I never liked Senui. Probably because his view on humanity is a little messed up.
Hah! I bought the DVD's two days ago and just watched them now, including the commentaries. Wow...they were even funnier on the commentaries than they were that day in Philadelphia.
Lol XD Chuck Huber has to be the funniest guy. Everytime I hear him on the commentary I try to imagine Hiei complaining that the clothes that the ladies wear don't match or that Kurama has no butt XD
Also I have a question.
Can Edward move his automail when he?s in our world? Because when they first show him talking to Hohenhiem (agg! Did NOT spell that right x.x) he?s (I think packing stuff?) and his right arm is just at his side and it looks like he can?t move it? but then when he?s on the train going to ?the place he wanted to go to (can?t remember) he?s holding on to I guess blue prints for the rocket thing? and then he sticks his automail arm out the window? oh yea and I?m guessing he probably re-lost his left leg and he still is able to walk? so I guess he was able to make it work. ?then why wasn?t he using his arm in the scene were he was talking to his dad?

I think he can because if you see the trailors for the movie I remember him doing alchemy and he would have to use both of his arms. I don't know why he wasnt using his arm... with his dad.

You're right, I guess. If the DVDs were more than $20 dollars (like $30) I probably wouldn't have been able to see the whole series. Where did you get your box sets? When I go to suncoast they're $100 each 0_0. I ask for one each christmas so my parents dont have to go all out. The only one I have now is the first season and the only other one I need is the first half of the DT. I only need two more DVDs to complete the second half of the DT and I have so many other missing ones that I need to buy individually. That would be neat if they did that book thing.
I'm buying it very soon! I can't wait to see it! Then I'll only have to get Deadly Toguro, and I'll have all the volumes!
That's great! You'll like it very much! XD Are you serious? 0_o Holy, I could never afford all those DVDs and even if I had enough money to buy them all, I don't think I would although that was my plan in the first place. I have the whole DT series that Im missing.
I met Chuck Huber and Justin Cook (Yusuke) at a convention in Philadelphia. By the time I was done talking to them, I thought I was going to wet myself from laughing so hard. They were both REALLY funny.
Wow, you're lucky! I wish I could meet them >_< Some day I will! They are the funniest!
They aren't a .hack//sign or a Cowboy Bebop, but it is easier for casual watchers to get into them, and miss an episode here or there ( whereas if you miss an episode of .hack//sign, you are screwed).
Lol. Too true! I think the only time when Yu Yu Hakusho seems to drag is when a fight is going on between Yusuke and whomever (since those seem to take the longest) or when one saga is going into the other. Otherwise, it's action packed and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The last DVD was too funny! If you see it and you have enough money to buy it, then you should. The main cast commentaries on the last episode are very hilarious! Chuck Huber has got to be the funniest guy!

0_o Are you joking?! That will take forever! Why do they need to release the movie versions of the games? Just play the game and then you get the movies, right? Now I have to get the japanese version of this movie or else I will be waiting for awhile and if there is one thing I hate most its having to wait. @Meggido: I thought as much... =_=

Thanks for the sympathy, Gin. Yes, I have looked on Ebay and last time I tried a search on there I didn't get any results.
Randomly XD; Movie Hughes looks all sorts of creepy *laughs* but, mostly, I think it's the hat ^^; (I think the movie site lists him as Police Officer *dies*)
You think so? 0_o I guess it could be the hat. I never noticed the hat while I was having a fangirl moment screaming because Hughes was going to be in the movie. Oh, I've had this question floating in my head since I saw the new trailor and I'm wondering about what you all think of this:
On the last episode, Ed sends himself across the Gate as a "sacrifice" to bring back Al, but since he turned out fine there is this idea that the real sacrifice was all the memories that they shared during most of the show. In the trailor it shows scenes of Riza and Roy in Munich. Now how did they get across the gate? It couldn't possibly be someone who looked like Roy because he was using alchemy. Do you think they had to sacrifice something or they just found a way how to get there with out equivilent exchange?
~_~

*sigh* Well, I think this is a sign that God does not want me to buy that game =_= Oh well. I guess there will be other FMA games.
Luckily, Shin has a few left that he's selling at 5 BUCKS EACH!!!!! I was able to get a copy, and it's not as good as you'd think. I give it 3 stars. Bummer.
Five dollars? Are you sure? And no, it's a good game, or else I wouldn't bother looking for it. How did you play it anyway? Its all in Chinese. But anyways, I want it for the art and the different endings that you can get.
-
Off topic: I'm afraid Shin doesn't sell Bluebird's Illusion anymore because the license for it was terminated.
0_o Are you serious? =_= just when I thought I could finally get my hands on it. *sigh* I guess I'll have to look somewhere else, tell me if you find any information on it.

Aura, you were half right but the
homunculi with ed's arm or a.k.a wrath, is not the one that stabbed Ed, Envy did. Ed was stabbed in episode 50, atleast that's what I thought.
I would have to watch it again to make sure.

Yu Yu Hakusho is being aired again? 0_o I didn't know that...

Anime What two characters would make the best opponents for a fight?
xmystic_silverx replied to a topic in Otaku Central
Wow... lots of Ed votes but I think Kuwabara would win. If you've seen the whole series of YYH Kuwabara's spirit sword gets stronger and he becomes a better fighter. So Ed has his alchemy, I think fighting S and A class demons would make Kuwabara more than ready for anything Ed can pull off. Some of you said Ed is small and thus give him an advantage because he can move faster but metal weighs a lot and he's got quite a lot of it on his body. Maybe Ed can transmute his arm into any kind of weapon, but Kuwabara can do the same thing with his spirit sword, if you remember he once turned it into a fly-swatter XD. So in the end, my vote stays with Kuwabara. -
I meant what it is you do in it. (Does that make since?) I want to know what the point of the game is, where you go, what you do, maybe what characters (besides Ed and Al I?m guessing they?re in it) are in it, and when it takes place (during the anime, after it, ect.). I guess you guys don?t know though? I tried googling it but all the links I saw were things like deviantART sites? and one in another language? And anyone know whether they are using Ready Steady Go as the third and fourth ending themes when they show it on [Adult Swim] or if they will be playing Undo and Rewrite? I asked awhile ago but never got an anwser.
The point of the game? I couldn't tell you. But I know that it takes place several years after the manga series ended. Ed is in the military and he finally wears the militay uniform >_< But I konw you fight the sins and there are four endings to the game, one in which Ed dies and becomes Pride. My avatar and banner have a picture of him as Pride. And there are the main characters like Roy, Riza, Fury, Armstrong, Havoc... It goes by the manga because in the manga the Furher is not a homunculi.. Well if you have more questions I suppose you could ask me.. I might know XD
Also does anyone know anything about the FMA PC game besides that it's from China, incredibly hard to get, and the name? Now I?m really interested in it?[/size']
It's called Bluebird's Illusion. I don't know what else you want to know Lol. Well, it's fan-made and there are no more copies being made. But.. I have good news! For those of you who haven't seen the new FMA movie trailor here it is: http://www.apple.com/jp/quicktime/trailers/shochiku/alchemist_large.html
hey wats goin on people hows the board coming and who has the game?
I'm hoping to buy it from a store that Tyler has visited. I don't think many people have the game, I only know 2 people who do and one lives in Hong Kong so it was easy to come buy and the other one had to bid on a korean auction to get it.
also: Why's it called bluebird's illusion?
This isn't a PS2 or Xbox game, if that's what you thought. Its for the PC and why it's called Bluebird's Illusion, I don't know, you would have to ask the creators.
-
He does have the game for $19.96. He said he was going to get a new PS2 game in Japanese called Fullmetal Alchemist:The Other Side of the Gate. He supposed to have it by August 12. I'll make a new post if I find out anything new.
He has the game?! It's Bluebird's Illusion, right? How often do you go to Atlanta? I'm thinking that maybe if you gave me the address to the store I could send a money order for the game, but I would have to be sure he had it when I send the money. Does his store have a phone number? PM me if you have anymore information.
-
You know, I think I saw a game like that for the PC at Shin's Imported Goods in Atlanta. If he doesn't have, maybe he can special order it.
Oh?! Do you know if there is a website? I would really like the link if you have it on you!

I would argue more but it seems that Ima has already taken care of that. Oh how I love grammar, and if my teacher didn't have a weird way of grading, I'm pretty sure I would have failed that class but that is getting off topic. Anyway, thanks to Gin! I knew Funimation put some DVD extras on one of them. I'll be sure to tell my friend >_< It only peeves me that they haven't put anything on the YYH DVDs. Unless they did but no one knows how to get to it. I do have a question, though. It has to do with the Chinese FMA game, I think it's for the PC but anyway, does anyone know where to find it? Do they even sell original copies of this game anymore? I know it's called Bluebird's Illusion, but that's about it.
