I?m no senior member, but I would be glad to help. I?m constantly patrolling the fan art section. I?ve made myself a pest by reporting [I]a lot [/I] of fan art thieves, but it?s because I want to keep this place honest and protect other artists. I sure you will have quite a few more replies to this by older members, but despite the fact that I?m only 2 months '[I]old[/I]' to this community, I still want to help.

The pictures are even of poorer quality than the originals. She put her name into the picture, but they still are not hers. I supsect if I looked hard enough, I could find the other pictures in her gallery on deviant art as well. There is even a person in her guest book compaining about showing her a picture, and she riped it. the post was asking for thier picture to be removed. Pleas get rid of this thief!! :flaming:

I'm costantly seeing stolen stuff, and wanting to notify you guys, but it's a hassle usually...until now ^_^ I don't know why, but I'm monitoring fan art now >_< I know you guys can't dedicate much time to it and it's almost impossible to prevent, so I'll help you keep this place honest, k?

The suggestion is: What about a different rating system for fan art? Instead of just a yes or no to the picture, would it be possible to rank the picture of the scale of say, 1 to 10? That way, the votes could be a bit more accurate. People could judge the pictures in a gray zone, not just the black and white way it is now. I would just like to see that, but being a webmater myself, I understand it's just another thing to program >_< so I would understand if the answer is a resounding "NO". I hope this might spark something, possibly spawing more ideas to improve otaku. I'd also like to see this happen so I (and others who agree) could avoid the [I]massive[/I] amounts of traced pictures in the fan art section.
