I <3 you and your <3 of the Spanish bbs. Also, 5 hours later and I still cannot get the aftertaste of beer out of my mouth. Yes, I did drink in honour of my sweet Spaniards. I may or may not have been a little drunk around 2 PM today. Just sayin'. PS your new icon enchants me in ways I have never been enchanted before.
11. HELLO ESPANA!!!!!!! very very very proud of my boys, they kept their cool and played the game at their own pace :D <3
12. Thanks White! I've made slight changes to my sign up - I'm a rookie now, but I've left how I've found PIT and my powers the same. Glad you like the psychometry idea, I thought it seemed neat. Also glad I can throw some diversity via the rookie bit into the RP while still being included. Excited for this to start as ever :3
13. I'm glad you made this because I was actually wanting to ask you if you thought the power I picked out for Eun Jung was okay/even going to be useful in the RP. It was between psychometry and post-cognition (seeing into the past to see what's happened to someone) and if you actually think that'd be better, I'd change it. (Incidentally, I'll change the internet research that leads to PIT. I'll have her move to the states for another reason and then she'll find out about it after. Gimme a little while) Also, I was going to be a rookie but I was worried that might isolate me from the main story a bit? Which would suck because the best part is all the interaction. Love the idea of the mind-link of pets, though, with the telepathy for each of our individual animals even though it's actually one character. I'd be so down for that.
14. What college do you attend? University of British Columbia, Vancouver campus :D What are you studying? A lot of stuff to get requirements out of the way. As of right now I'm undeclared, because we don't really do the Majors thing til after 2nd year and I'm just starting 2nd year this fall. The plan is to go into International Relations with an emphasis on East Asian studies :3 Do you live on campus? I do! I lived on campus for first year and I'm back in residence for 2nd and I looooooove love love it. Taking rez in first year was the best choice I've probably ever made. Ever. Best year of my life, bar none. Also, my campus is bloody gorgeous :X

Really, who could say no? With a dress code like that... Summer school is making me feel productive and motivated again :D GONNA GO WORK OUT NOW!
16. LRBBB very excite that you're taking the Unseen on again, I'd love to see it really take off this time :DDD

17. Name: Cho Eun Jung Age: 23 Gender: Female Appearance: Eun Jung from Seoul, is a thin and youthful looking boyish figure, standing at 5'7", with long "asian orange" brownish hair and blunt cut and thick straight across bangs. She has extremely pale skin for an asian person, with large, nearly black almond-shaped eyes, and a small beauty mark on her nose. Eun Jung loves to wear what is trendy but comfortable, usually opting for dark skinny jeans paired with a plaid or plain button up (sometimes a t-shirt or something of the variety) and cardigan or blazer, and flats or keds for work, her hair put up simply in a pony tail or bun. When not on a call, her biggest vice is shoes and she frequently sports bright high-heels with interesting designs, pairing them with more feminine outfits than her usual apparel, such as high waisted skirts or tunic dresses. Always somewhere on her person is her grandfather's favourite pocket-watch. Personality: Eun Jung is a very happy individual, always trying to find the positive side of things. Although she may seem girly, she doesn't scare easily, preferring to take an approach to the supernatural as they might take to her - misunderstood. She thinks that spirits and the paranormal are often just as nervous around humans, as humans are around them. She always looks for the best in both people and spirits alike, and is quick to trust, which can sometimes be her downfall. She appreciates the opportunity that Zach has given her and his encouragement in her further developing her power, and looks up to him very much. She is also very clumsy, often dropping things at the worst moment. PIT History: Eun Jung grew up in Seoul with a penchant for studying and researching the paranormal, after her first 'encounter'. As a teenager, she went above and beyond the required High School English so that she would have access to even more resources outside of Korea. On the internet there was one case of the paranormal she became engrossed with, and followed it across message boards for months. While many details were never the same from one poster to another, one name kept coming up - PIT. As soon as Eun Jung turned 21, she opted to try her odds in North America, hoping that her knowledge of the supernatural could catch the attention of PIT and ultimately, land her a job. While not a founding member, Eun Jung made a strong case for herself and was picked to become a part of the team in 2008, and is a rookie, although she keeps her cool, can handle herself as she is not frightened easily and could be trusted to be called up by the elites, should they require her powers. Powers/Talents: Eun Jung may not be the best at sensing or seeing ghosts and the like, but she has a rather untapped talent of psychometry, or touching an object and being able to see something about the owner, lying in wait. It's hit and miss when she picks up something, sometimes she'll see a snapshot of the life of the person to whom it belonged. It's fidgety though and requires some fine tuning, though if she could hone it, it's certainly possible that this talent could help to provide clues when other leads come to a dead end. First Paranormal Experience: Unlike most of the others, Eun Jung wasn't a child when she first encountered the paranormal. When she was growing up, she had noticed that sometimes after touching an object that wasn't hers, she would get a huge headache. But she never thought much of it, or at least didn't look into it any further than medically. She was prescribed strong migraine medication which essentially numbed her 'power' for a number of years. When she was 14, her grandfather died. She was very close with him and so her grandmother gave her his favourite pocket-watch to remember him by. As she was walking home slowly, staring down at the watch, she was suddenly gripped by something and without warning the world around her gave way to visions of her grandfather - a few rapid snapshots of his daily routine, and finally the last few moments of his life. Eun Jung watched in horror, screaming for help without being heard as his lifeless form crumpled onto the floor. As quickly as it happened, the 'vision' was over and she was kneeling on the sidewalk, tears streaming down her face, feeling utterly confused and helpless at what had just happened. She never ever mentioned it to anyone and became withdrawn for months after, spending all of her time on the internet, researching the phenomena, trying to find an explanation, hoping desperately that she wasn't abnormal. The more research she did, the more she found others who sounded like they were just like her, or at least had something similar happen to them. After the incident with her grandfather's pocket-watch, Eun Jung found that now, more items were triggers, though the visions were never quite so vivid or strong. It seems to be a one time only type of deal, where she can only glean information once and then the item is rendered back to it's normal state. Eun Jung is now trying to figure out how to clarify what she sees, so that it may become more helpful and precise.

20. haha of course the day I post to inject some movement into the damn thing, someone's posted already. Which is awesome but funny because my post was written before I saw that one. HURRAY.

21. Natalie sauntered into the room last, dressed entirely in black, her hair tucked up into a tuque so that only a few strands of light pink were visible. As everyone double and triple checked their equipment, Alex checked the supplies they were all choosing to bring. "Any questions before we move out?" Natalie's hand shot up into the air, like a child waiting for permission to ask a question. Alex rolled his eyes dramatically before giving it. "Callahan." "Can I drive?" The colour from Kain's face drained and he physically looked as though he wanted to be sick, and the entire team groaned in unison. "Oh come on. I've been practicing!" She added in defense. "It doesn't take a Seer to know what'll happen if you drive..." Patrick chortled. "Shut up, Patrick." Natalie barked at him. "Children, please," Alex closed his eyes and rubbed his temples "No, Natalie, you can't, if not only because you don't know the area we're going to and your driving style... fun as it is, would attract some unwanted attention." "I can shift us there in a jiffy, if you'd like, Alex." Peter offered. "Thanks Peter, and any other day I'd take you up on that, but we need to drive so we can survey the area on our way in. We'll park relatively close, go into an abandoned building and from there we'll use your shifting to get to our vantage point." Peter nodded in understanding, Natalie half-pouted and half forgot she was supposed to be mad, and Lucas continued to determinedly puff the last dregs of his cigarette. Alex looked down at his watch and then back to the faces of his teammates. "Well, everyone," he smiled grimly "If there are no further questions..." he shot a look at Natalie before continuing, "It begins. We'll see you guys on the other side. Best of luck." Alex saluted Patrick, Kain and Timothy, before gesturing to the rest to follow him. They headed down one set of steps, and then another, into the bowels of the building where the garage was. As they entered the dark cement room lit harshly by bright white fluorescents, Natalie elbowed her way to the front of the pack next to Alex. "Shotgun!" she bellowed. Peter laughed and shifted so he was sitting in the front seat, looking at her with a grin plastered on his face. Natalie stuck her tongue out as the group reached the vehicle and tore the door open. "Nuh uh, cowboy. Shotgun is shotgun." she went to grab him by the jacket and toss him out but he quickly shifted to the backseat. "Yeah yeah. Whatever, your majesty." "Ha." Natalie got in and shut the door, smiling smugly. Alex adjusted all his mirrors, smiling at the back and forth banter between Natalie and Peter and glancing at Lucas' less than impressed face for a moment, before gripping the steering wheel tightly, his knuckles turning white. The atmosphere in the car became tense and serious, and they quieted down to look at Alex. Alex began to speak, but kept his eyes trained on the steering wheel. "Peter. Lucas. Natalie. We've been through a lot together - we're like family. I never imagined having to do anything - having to ask any of you to do anything like this." He cleared his throat before continuing. "But here I am, asking. Here you are, willing to put your lives on the line, again. You know that. I told you that." He suddenly looked up, making eye contact with all of them through the rear view mirror. "Thank you. That's all I want to say." The air in the vehicle was now charged with a quiet intensity, and his words hung heavily in the air long after he'd finished speaking. "We'd do it again, you know." Lucas said gruffly, after a moment. "In a heartbeat, Alex." Natalie nodded. â??Though if we can get it right the first time, it would be great if we didnâ??t have to repeat this insanity.â? Peter replied. Alex smiled at their responses. â??Agreed, Peter. So letâ??s do it right. One shot. Everyone ready to go?â? They all checked that they had their weapons on them plus whatever else they might need. Natalie patted her left breast pocket lovingly, confirming that the new lighter that Lucas had gifted her was there. â??Sir, yes sir.â? Natalie leaned back in the front seat and clicked her seatbelt into place, before tugging gently on each of her black gloves and cracking her knuckles. â??Roger.â? Came Lucasâ?? confirmation, in unison with the clack of ammo being slid into a handgun. â??You got it, Bossman.â? Peter called out as he also secured his seatbelt and checked his own guns for ammo. â??Alright, then. Letâ??s do this.â? In one swift movement, Alex slid the gears of the old black sedan into Drive and they were on their way, the high tech Hub garageâ??s motion sensor detecting their movement and swinging the huge steel garage door open on itâ??s track. As the vehicle left the garage and began its descent up a steep and dark underground driveway, the four teammates sat in comfortable silence, each anticipating what was going to happen next. ooc: ahahah I wrote this all without seeing P.J McKrafty's post... I still think it works pretty well in tandem... it's been tweaked to reflect the post prior to it, now.
