How did you learn about sex?(Parental Advisory)
Innotech replied to Pagan's topic in General Discussion
I learned about it mostly through Sexual education clases. However, being religious I also have a personal goal of no premarital sex. Its osmething deep in my moral and religious background and Im not budging from it. I have also watched a few shows on Discovery/TLC about it which definitely clarified the picture. I also think people should be more educated to the dangers of promiscuou sex, whether protected or not. theres always a chance of terrible consequence and it astounds me how many young people will risk everything to "get it on". To me, unless its marriage, its just not worth it. -
there are both good and bad sides to this. While I myselfbleieve that not following God will probably end in Hell, Im not going to tell someone that they are going there. Simply put, true christians DO NOT consider themselves fit to judge other people based on religion. All of us are sinners, and a sinner calling another person evil is like pot calling hte kettle black. However, based on the principles of equality it woud deeply scare me if for example a satanist message would be allowed on US currency instead, which would no doubt make more people happy but according to my bliefs Id be scared of god getting angry at my country for rejecting him. So it really goes both ways. You should let people believe what they want, but only so long as its not forcing you to bleieve something. I do not see anything wrong with the word God in the pledge or money. If you dont bleieve, just pretend it isnt there. Ignorance is bliss policy. Idl ike to finally add, the way I see it, if a Christian like myself who strongly belives in God ends up being wrong at the end of life, all we lose is our belief. however, if as I bleieve, God DOES exist, and osmeone lived their life not accepting Him, then obviously there is a very real crisis there when they die. Thats one reason I am Christian, but not nearly the only one. If I am wrong, I lose nothing really, but if nonbelievers are wrong, there is literally Hell to pay. Just my 2 cents.

Maburaho is a really fun shounen anime to watch. Midori no hibi as of 2 episodes is also surprisingly funny and cute. I really do enjoy this genre and I hear ah my goddess is getting a sequel! thats the best shounen romance comedy that exists really and Im glad to see the AMG world continued with a new series. Im stoked for it.

Excel Saga would turn people off of anime forever. Definitely not a good starter. Maybe Bebop could work. I watched volumes 4,5 of Noir yesterday and the story has really REALLY taken off to a very interesting direction. and now that Im in deep spoiler territory I cant say a lot about whats oging on, but its all starting to make sense. I only hope it continues this brilliance until the very end of the series. Even if the ending is aletdown though, I still enjoyed the show. the music is also incredibly cool.
There are alot of series that are new to me. All I know is the only two series I look forward into watching are "Someday Dreamer" and the other one that has these little children (girls I believe) wearing angel wings and haloes. The title starts with Haibanna or something. I think that 's how it's spelled. I only saw two episodes. I can't explain the plot, but the show is really cool and the art is terrific. I definitly look forward into seeing these series. :)
Somedays dreamers isnt the best anime but I still checked it out. ITs pretty good for a shoujo, but being a guy shoujo isnt the most interesting to me.Ill still finish the series. As for HAIBANE RENMEI you just named my personal favorite series. Haibane is a masterpiece as far as anime goes. I have the whole series. One thing though, do NOT confuse HR as a cute litle show. The meanings and tragedies behind it are very deep , religious, and philosophical. ID also like to mention that I totally love Maburaho.

This on a very cute and charming little series, both funny and surprisingly smart witted despite the stupid very shallow story. I have volume 1 and I intend to complete at least season one.Well I notice I get flamed at stupidly for not posting longer responses so Ill say my faovrite character is Mint blancmanche. she is entirely too kawaii for her own good but she has a quirky cosplay and ruthless side to her making things interesting. Overall each character carries their weight in this show and without such great characters, GA wouldnt be on season 3 and so popular in Japan. It goes to show how important great characters are in an nime. Glitz and production arent enough to sell an anime. People have to like and sympathize with the characters to truly enjoy it. GA managed to execute this perfectly

Midori no hibi, Paranoia agent, Hi no tori, Maburaho (VERY anxious to own this one), and Kaze no yojimbo Considering the sizes of your other posts I was surprised that this one was so short. Try and include reasons why you want to see these particular anime, or even what it is about them that you like in future. Really, this isn't very acceptable. -Solo

I LOVE Noir. I dont have all of it yet but Im up to volume 6 of 7 and Ill have hte rest probably by next month. Anyway, Im a BIG fan of slow paced complex plot/story animes focusing on a lot of character development and atmosphere. NOir is exactly that kind of anime and it is of course way up on my favorite list. Its definitely NOt for everyone though. No way in hell will such slow paced anime like Noir and .hack appeal to hte legions of action anime fans out there. But then again, they have a lot of other stuff to choose from, which is what makes anime so great. So much variety. Anyway, Ive only SEEN up to volume 3, but I recently got 4, 5, and 6 and have yet to view them. Chloe is a really awesome character.

to the person who said IMM Strawberry eggs, Id have to disagree personally because I really like that series (enough to buy it) As for worst anime in my opinion...Id say puni puni poemy. Its just horrible. Like one big extra length Excel Saga episode 26. Frighteningly twisted and screwed up. I hated it. I like Excel saga though. Othe than that one I personally dontl ike (but I still consider it to be a very exceptionally well done series) is FLCL I just couldnt get into it because of the completely frenetic pace and the style of animation for some reason, but it does have a legion of fans and a lot of people do like it, so its not close to the worst. Honestly Ive only seen a mere 60 anime series and movies so far so I cant really say whats hte worst because Ivel iked almost everything I watched.
