1. Considering the fact that I haven't seen any RPs recently that I've wanted to sign up for (save for Blayze's Stranded, but I missed the boat for that one...excuse the pun) this is quite interesting. Most interesting? Yes. Although I'm a little intimidated by the amount of really good writers who are going to be signing up for this, I might as well give it a shot. As a side note: Annie, it's great to see you back.
2. Hey, my RP got a mention and I wasn't even planning on starting it, thanks Gav. *very slow* Once again a well written paper. I'm really interested in seeing the way different people write their articles in different styles. I enjoyed Gavin's the most because it was so friendly and open, the way I think reporting should be done. I must say, the bunny joke was amusing too. Perhaps it's because I'm crude.
3. I know I've said that I'm taking a break from the OB, but that doesn't mean I'll stop participating in the Legionnaires. I'm still really enthusiatic about this, even if it is slowing up...a lot. As soon as I need to start posting I will be around though, count on that.
4. [STRIKE]Hm, a shot at online journalism, eh? I'm looking at going into journalism in Uni, so this could be fun. I don't exactly post around much any more...so I'll take any job you need, with a preference on Anthology or the Art Studio. That is, if you want me, heh.[/STRIKE] Never mind. This was quite an interesting read because, like others have said, I don't visit all the forums. I think talking about the Art by Request was a stroke of genius, it'll really raise awareness with regards to who needs what done. *thumbs up*
5. Don't encourage White like that, his ego is big enough already >_< (Even if he does have cool shirts) I like the effects you've used for these pictures. I can't really add much more, because Delta covered everything I wanted to say. Like her, the only thing I can see wrong with the banner is the text and the Kairi stock. Apart from that, it's looking great. The image you're using as your title picture doesn't really seem like one. It's too small, for one, and because you have a big paragraph of text above it, the picture looks a little lost. It would look much better if you had that image first, then everything else. (Like White done, if I remember correctly). Apart from that, everything's looking spiff. Post more next time so I have a proper excuse to write a lot. ^_~
6.
Is acceptance/contentment considered an emotion [still']? If so, I'll roll with that one.
Yeah, whatever happened to that one? Overall, I'd say my strongest emotions were love and, well...happiness. I tend to get down sometimes, but I don't let it get to me. Life is here to be lived and enjoyed, not to mope around in D: "LOVE WILL SHOW US THE WAY!"

I think I commented on all your pictures on devART, but I'd look like a stinge if I didn't thank you again for Ezekiel here. As you saw from my spasms on devART, I'm so impressed with him. Something I forgot to point out was that you're really good with controlling those markers. Myself and a friend both let our pens bleed really bady when we got ours, so you've done a magnificent job. Your work is really coming on well, I always love the expression you manage to capture in the character's faces. Looking forward to your 100 themes pictures (I'm nearly finished one of mine!). =D
8.
Actually dear Jamie, and again I hate to bring it up the vast majority of Americans are either of Irish or German descent. Anyway it doesn't matter really as in the end we're all descended from the apes.
Just to clarify, as I was obviously unclear in my statment, I wasn't saying that the vast majority of Americans come from England, but that they weren't native to the country in the first place. That's all I was getting at as I know a load of Americans have strong Irish links. And don't anyone start flaming me, because I never said all Americans, just most, okay?
9.
Bring It Brrrrrrrrrrrriiiiinnnnnnnnnnnngggggg It B***hes You Should Have Learned Not To Mess If America In The Fifst War We Had Dumbies We Be In Your Front Yard Yelling Bring Em Out Bring Em Out!!
...Wha? Perhaps if the UK had America back in its Empire one would learn to spell correctly? Gavin, sir, your point about Prince Harry was a low blow, but I for one really hope he doesn't actually become king. Even though the royal family don't have a huge amount of power, he wouldn't be the best, hmm, representative. Besides, William is much [STRIKE]cuter[/STRIKE] responsible. And I'm glad to see that most Americans have taken this as a joke, because seriously...where did most of your ancestors come from in the first place? Learn to laugh a little when someone else takes the piss. :p
10. Man, I was laughing so much through all of that. It's amusing, but I'm pretty sure that I've brought up every one of those points with my friends, parents and especially Trevor. ("Aluminium!" "Aluminum!" "It has two 'i's!") Just...yeah. Everything made me laugh in that, though I wonder if Tony Blair could handle it all while still grinning...all the damn time.
11. Hmm, I'm not sure who that is but it seems like something Sean [Perfection] would do. Probably wrong, though. XD
12. Gabriel and Belial walked down a dimly lit street, neither of the breaking the cold silent that had settled half an hour ago. They had decided to meet to discuss the current situation, but so far neither of them had actually started serious conversation. ?I?ll never understand why you chose such an old body?? Belial started, smirking a little while he still looked ahead, his half-smoked cigarette drooping a little from his bottom lip. Gabriel shrugged and looked to the inky sky, his golden locks ruffled a little, ?This body has served me well. I don?t see anything wrong with it.? Belial closed his eyes, letting out a long puff of smoke, ?It?s just that?you?ll never get laid, looking like that.? Gabriel stopped dead and glared at Belial?s back, clenching his teeth slightly, ?That doesn?t concern me in the slightest.? Belial shrugged this time and turned around. ?Anyway, Gabe, enough of this bullshit small talk. You wanted to talk about this game, yeah? So let?s start talking.? ?I?m glad you?ve finally seen some sense, Belial.? *** Esther paced her room quickly, looking from her door, to her phone, to her palms. She hadn?t done anything yet?well, not really. A little bit of help with her homework, perhaps, but?damn, this really worked. She swallowed hard and stood still finally, reaching to her desk to pick up her phone, quickly dialling a number. It rang a couple of times before someone spoke up, there voice happy as always. ?Hello?? ?Neill! It?s Esther?I really need to talk to you.? *** Okay! Basically I just want everyone to get in an introduction post, something about experimenting with their power. Trevor, Phil, I can trust you two to have a little conversation going on about plans for something, can?t I? Rev and White, you guys don?t have to post yet, but if you just want to expand on your feelings about the whole thing, then feel free. Gavin, I hope it?s okay with you that our characters know each other; I thought it would be interesting. Of course, if anyone else wants to have friendships with other chosen, that?s fine. It makes my life easier.
13. Sign ups are now closed, everyone~ Thanks so much for the great sign ups, I'm really happy to have so many wonderful writers in on this. I should be starting the RP later on today, but I'll PM those accepted with the link. 14. ...Arg. Okay, so now the OB has a red skin. Unfortunately for you, James has given you the credit for said skin. A horde of angry n00bs who lyk luf teh col0r bluuuuu! have started sending you endless amounts of PMs/IMs etc. and have been spamming up the board with angry posts about how the colour blue is so much better than red. You have caused the greatest spam war of OB's history. (I suck, yes. That was hard) I wish the Atlantic Ocean didn't exist.
15. Shika-Shikamaru~! Good choice. *fangirl spaz* I happen to have a Shika banner lying around on my computer, so you might as well use it. =D Won't attempt the Fruits Basket one, KW will give you a great set. ^_^ *points to attachments*
16. I get told that I'm easy to talk to, but I'm pretty sure guys don't find it attractive in me. They just think it's a good quality for a friend quality. I guess my eyes and legs (oddly enough O_o) usually garner the best compliments. Also, apparently, I'm really confident and the way I speak honestly and bluntly is amusing. I have been told by an older guy friend that I'm intimidating, though, because I can challenge any boys I know on an intellectual level and I know my way around the subjects of cars/sports/games. I think most of my guy friends just see me as another one of the boys, heh.
17. You know, that kind of cheesy humour is enough to make my brain hurt. However! I really like the graphic. I like the swirl in the background as it's a subtle little addition to your, ahem, 'screwing action' slogan. (Oh my!) Also, the colours are really nicely chosen. Two things I'm not keen on: 1) The screw is a bad quality imagine and I'm sure you could have found a better one. Also, the edges are a little bitty and I think a nice smooth down would have made it look better. 2) The text you used for 'Nail' doesn't seem that fitting. I know it's the style that would be used for cowboy type things and that's the only thing I can think when I see that style. I can't, however, think of a better alternative and it's probably me just being [STRIKE]mean[/STRIKE] picky. And your comment on my dA? So inspired me to do a little three panel comic.
18. Just letting everyone know that I really want to start this soon, but would like another of Lucifer's chosen if at all possible. I'm sorry, silver_blade, but your sign up as it stands isn't up to the standards of everyone else. I don't want to sound harsh, but... *shrugs* Thanks everyone for the interest~ Edit: Something I should point out--If you so wish, then your characters can know one another. It's cliche, but whatever. All the Digidestined knew each other, so why not these guys?
19. Don't get too mad at them, Gavin dear, they don't really worship Satan. (My character is nice! She really is!) I'm hoping that this will be up in a couple of days, Saturday at the latest. KW: I'm not really sure what you meant, but you can only play as one of the chosen, an angel or demon. Other characters would be useless.
20. Oh, man, that's so cheesy I just can't NOT comment. Seriously, I love this. XD I can't actually think of what to say about it...except for: I love it. The text is great and very fitting with the quote, the picture fits great and the colours are lovely. I'd so buy...whatever it is your advertising. Is it bleach? That would be appropriate. =P
21. Right, I can't believe I didn't even think of explaining the angel/demon sign ups. *sighs* Silly me. The sign up is basically the same, but instead of 'Reaction to Visit' you should write something along the lines of 'Reaction to Concept'. So, explain how your character feels about the whole idea of the game and possibly what they plan to do as it progresses. Sorry about that =/ My bad. Belial is reserved for ULX, just to let everyone know. Edit: Garg, just noticed something. Blayze, while I do like your Gabriel, he doesn't fit with the Gabriel I described in the first post. The basics are fine, but Gabriel is supposed to have blonde hair, like the typical angel. Also, I'm not sure about the smoking. He's supposed to have a soft center rather than being a few steps away from falling from heaven. Sorry about that. =/ (Sexeh picture of Alan Rickman though, mmm~)

Wastelands [M-VLS]

?Shit?? Ezekiel reached down to check Starwind?s pulse, still a little shocked about finding another member in the open without mutants crawling all over him. She gestured to Blayze who quickly knelt down on Starwind?s other side, hooking his arms around the back of his neck. ?We need to get him back to camp, want me to take his other side?? Blayze shook his head, hauling Starwind?s deadweight up from the ground. ?You keep watch for any mutants, I?ll look after this guy.? Ezekiel nodded and, after pouring some water into Starwind?s mouth, the trio set off. It took a long time, but they were lucky enough not to come across any mutants along the way. Eventually Ezekiel was opening the large door to her and JJ?s bunker, holding it open so that Blayze could drag Starwind inside. ?He can take my cot.? The woman said, keeping her voice low just in case. Blayze nodded and dropped Starwind to a mattress on the floor, cushioning his head with an old pillow. ?We need to do something about his leg, he?s lost too much blood already.? ?I know, I know,? Ezekiel, still managing to keep her cool, searched for something in her bag before coming back over to Blayze?s side. ?We?ll use this bandana as a tourniquet. There?s a main artery running along his thigh and I?m pretty sure it?s only been nicked, otherwise he?d be dead by now,? she paused, searching Blayze?s face for understanding. He simply nodded, and Ezekiel went on, ?JJ should be back soon, and hopefully he?ll know of a place where we can get bandages and painkillers. He?s scouted around more than I have.? As she spoke, the redhead tied up Starwind?s leg and washed off the excess blood with some spare water, putting a clean cloth on the man?s forehead. ?I hope he doesn?t have septicaemia,? Blayze said, sounding genuinely worried. Although they?d only just met, Jamie trusted Blayze. They didn?t know how many others were left, but it couldn?t be many. She wanted as many friends as possible right now. Just then the sound of tires on gravel was heard and Blayze immediately jumped up. Jamie shook her head and reached up to pat his arm before standing up herself, ?It?s JJ,? she explained, ?We have a bike.? OOC: Yeah, that was a crappy post, but JJ needed it so he could move things along. Call me the Queen of Filler, baby. *rolls eyes*
23. I've only just recently finished a (huge) essay on the Vietnam war, so this is quite interesting to me. As Japan said, it flows really nicely and I can see a lot of emotion has gone into it.
As I continued my procession along the wall
This is the one section that I don't like. 'Procession' gives the idea of a grand event, like a crowd of people going around. I'm not sure if that's the idea you were trying to convey, but I don't think that word fits very well. It seemed to break the flow for me. I think a simpler word would be much more fitting, personally. You don't have to use really complicated words to make a piece seem deep and emotional.
24. Name: Esther Archer Age: 18 Gender: Female Alignment: Lucifer Appearance: Esther Personality: Esther has never been a bad person, though she couldn?t be described as an angel by any means. She is well liked and has a large circle of friends but at the same time she commands respect from everyone. She is responsible and always the leader when she and her friends go out as a group and if something needs to be said, Esther will come out and say it. Sometimes her friends get annoyed with her because she doesn?t sugar coat everything, but the young woman can?t see the point in dodging the truth. She can be harsh and her humour is typically dry, coming mostly form the fact that her father is British. If someone manages to tick her off, Esther won?t snap but is very good at coming back with a clever remark. She?s never been in a fight, but would never back down if someone threatened her. Reaction to Visit: Esther had always, even since she was a little girl, had an enquiring and open mind. That?s why, when a tall, handsome man clad from head to foot in black suddenly appeared at the foot of her bed her only reaction was a startled squeak. She stared, her mouth slightly open and her eyes wide, as the man or?whatever her was, tensed ad shrugged his shoulders. ?Esther Archer, yeah?? he asked, a smirk playing across his lips. Esther nodded, closing the book she had been reading. ?And you are??? ?Belial,? he paused, opening his mouth as if to continue, but Esther cut him off. ?The Prince of Lies and Seduction? Subordinate to the Devil? That explains the flashy entrance, I suppose, but?? It was clear to Belial that he wasn?t dealing with a normal teenager from that moment on. He blinked a couple of times before walking towards Esther, his face showing no signs of age whatsoever as he drew closer to her bedside lamp. He smiled a little playfully and sat on the side of her bed, tapping his knee unconsciously. ?Okay, so I guess I can understand why the boss chose you now?? Esther was still a little shocked, but intrigued at the same time, so she looked up to the demon with a look of interest. ?You mean Satan?? ?He prefers Lucifer.? ??Oh. Right, then. So what does he want with me? It?s not like I?? ?Do you ever stop?? Esther shut her mouth quickly and cast her eyes down while Belial chuckled darkly. ?As I was saying. Lucifer is having a little bet with the man upstairs and as part of the deal, each side has to choose three teenagers to inherit their powers?you with me?? Esther nodded, but looked a little puzzled. Belial went on regardless. ?So, basically, you now have Lucifer?s powers. Do with them what you wish but?you know, try and keep the old guy in mind, eh? He wouldn?t want to see his skills go to waste.? Belial winked knowingly and lifted his hand, pointing his elegant hands towards a window. Esther followed his hand with her eyes and in a matter of seconds, heard a thump on her window. She gasped and stood up, opening the curtains to reveal a pigeon on her windowsill, it?s head caved in on one side. ?Oh, God?? she murmured, bringing a hand to her mouth. Belial laughed, louder this time, and put a hand on her shoulder, ?No, just me.? He gave her one last smile before disappearing again, leaving Esther staring at her hands. NB: I'm not going to accept any more sign ups for God's side, because I know the three who've already applied are amazing writers. Still spaces open for Lucifer as I know a couple of other people who'll want to join up and now you can start applying as angels/demons. I would like the places of Belial and Gabriel filled as they are the most important.
25. Delta, you're so cool. I want a manslave now, too. D: I suppose the weirdest thing I've ever wanted is a lamb. I adore sheep, and lambs are so cute, I'd just love to have one. ^_^; I also want an orange room, because to me, orange is love. Not the kind of orange Reiku uses for her font, but a reddish/pinkish orange that's really bold and rich. Mmm. Also, I'd love a fountain. Inside. If I had a really huge house, I'd totally have a water feature in the middle of my kitchen/dining room. It wouldn't have to be big, but the sound of running water relaxes me.
