Anyway, I don't know if I ever saw how you did this...but how do you do it? Color in the computer? And how long does it take to do one character? [/size']
I use PaintShopPro 9 for all my graphics, because I'm too poor for Photoshop. (Woe is me.) I use the airbrush tool and alternate between using burn/dodge and a lighter or darker version of the flat colour I used for a base on a lower Flow and Opacity (on airbrush). Er...that make sense? I hope so. ^_^; I really should keep track of how long these things take me, but I believe one character takes approx. 2 hours, depening on whether or not they have massive details/background etc. But I'm a really fast CGer because I cut corners and don't take as much time as I really should. The last pic took me about 2 and half/3 hours, I think. And thanks so much for the compliments, both of you.

Well, I thought it was high time I started a new art thread, considering I've been busy with PSP in the last few months. I know the title sucks...I'm sorry. u_u Most of the stuff in here will be my CGs and because they're such high res. I'll link them from my devART page, so you can see my arts and I get page hits =). (If you have a devART account, I'd love to watch you, by the way.) [/pimp] Now, on with the arts: Kuroichi--The Silver Haired Demon [link] Comment- Well, this is Unborn Lord Xion's War of the Blood character, Kuroichi. It was easy enough for me to come up with a semi-original look for him. He's badass, has a shocking resemblance to Xion (from Bloody Roar) and he has a visible arrogance about him. So I tried to capture it, while keeping with my usual style of unique (hopefully) and interesting clothing. This was one of the times I CGed a sketch straight off without inking it. I just cleaned up my lines a little. Sumiyaka--Lady of the Wind [link] Comment- Sumi-chan is my character in WotB and she's gone through quite a change since the last time we done the RP. This is the second design I done of her, since I really wasn't happy with the first. I tried to make her look confident yet passive, hopefully it worked. Simple pose for a character design sheet. KuroSumi--Punk'd [link] Comment- This is my most recent pic (only finished today. Yes, I do love these two.) and I think it's one of my best to date, despite it's many and various flaws that I'm too lazy to fix/can't figure out HOW to fix. The bottom is messy, I know, but that was the way I sketched it...so, yeah. Sumiyaka's shoes. POMG! No idea what I was thinking. And that's all I'll bombard you with for now. I'd really, really appreciate feedback, because I'd love to know where I could improve. Thanks for looking. ^_^

And before that, I think I wanted to be Batman. But not Superman. Superman was lame.[/SIZE']
But Super Jamie is awesome ^_~ With her rocket boots and all. (Haha, sorry >>) I thought we were talking silly kid things, but since others have talked about real jobs they wanted... The first thing I remember wanting to be is an archaeologist/ palaeontologist. I just wanted to dig up and study dinosaurs because man, they were cool. I wanted to be an actress for quite a long time (it seemed like a long time, maybe it was only a couple of months) and then I wanted to be a Fighter Pilot. Then the cycle sort of repeated. I still love the idea of archaeology and Egyptology; I'd love to go to the Bad Lands one day for a dig. And just to show you all I'm not a total loon--Next year I'm starting to study Psychology and Law, amongst other things, to prepare myself for studying Forensic/Criminal Psychology in University.

Kuja fiddled with his damnable floppy hat as he walked across the field. His gaze was cast skyward as he fidgeted and grumbled. He'd already modified his outfit, much to Mog's dismay, and now had a wonderful dress to do his mission in. He'd cut sluts in both sides to expose his legs and a while had been burned through the middle for back and stomach showing purposes. He liked it...but this hat! "Stupid...damned...gack!" he smacked into a tree trunk and promptly fell over, shaking his head to clear the dizziness. Where the heck did a tree come from, this was an open field! He snarled and stood up, whirling on his heel and to see, to his dismay; to see that he was surrounded by trees. And leaves. And thorns. And other menacing...nature things. His shrugged and used Float to levitate above tree level before blasting off a Firaga, decimating a large area of trees around him. He planned to go on doing this until her cleared a suitable path. Much to his dismay, however, he quickly saw the trees re-sprouting from the burnt ground. His eyes widened as they shot up with a creaking noise, even taller and healthy than they'd been before. "Damn you Mother Nature!" Kuja cursed, muttering as he dodged a tree shooting up right next to him. He?d have to do this the hard way. He hated that.

I wanted to be a super hero. *nods* My mum even made me a cape, and my red wellie-boots made me fly. Haha, the good old days of childhood. I believe I wanted to be a pirate at one point, too, sadly jumping out of a tree with a stick in my mouth brought that fantasy to the end, along with one of my teeth.
...ROFL. That is now officially my favourite post of the year. That was hillarious, Imi.
Oooh yes. I was wondering who Sarah was, too. The art makes her look like she's from Castlevania, but I've never played the games, so I don't know the plot. :/ I'm glad we don't have to kill Bahamut. I think we'll go for strategic and fast running, eh, team?
Anyway, a little more information on me, I should be doing my Graphics GCSE coursework right now.... ...And also, Imi, it is surprising and actually a little scary how much we have in common. I was born only 6 days after you, one of my favourite writers is Terry Pratchett, and I have just finished reading Good Omens for the third time. I also love the 4400, and although I haven't seen Threshold, it looks like the kind of thing I would enjoy.
I do Graphics, too. o__o;; Scary. (If I may ask, what project are you working on for your final piece? Our school had a new list of projects for us to choose from, so I'm just wondering if it was the same in your area, too.) And you really must watch Threshold, it's excellent, if a little scary (for me, anyway, but I'm a wimp). You're lucky to know how to play bass, I'm stuck on piano/keyboard for my Music GCSE because I was too damn lazy to practice my viola. o.O; This thread has really been an eye opener. ^_^;;

My name's Jamie, Gurt to a few people online, and funnily enough most people seem to think I'm a guy (online). I am, however, female, and currently living in Liverpool, England. I'm 15, putting me in my final year of High School, taking the evil exams known as GCSE's. I'm going to college next year to study Psychology, Law, English and Biology (though my mum is hell bent on making me take maths. Gack.) I'm starting Kendo in January after I've turned 16 and I've got 2 years of Karate and 2 years of Judo under my belt, or something in that region, anyway. I've been with my beloved Trevor (Unborn Lord Xion) for 10 months tomorrow and in a little over two weeks time I'm going to be spending Christmas, New Year and my birthday with him. Lovely. Currently I'm supposed to be writing out my music composition, but I really can't be arsed. My favourite writers are Mo Hayder, Stephen King, Tess Gerritsen and Terry Pratchet. My favourite book of the moment is Good Omens and my favourite series (on TV) is Threshold, closely followed by The 4400 (Gotta love them aliens). I plan on going on to University to study Criminal/Forensic Psychology, and from there I want to go on and get a Doctorate. My long-term plans include moving to New York, having two adorable baby boys (with Trevor's eyes ^_~) and a cute widdle puppy. Oh yeah, I'm afraid of the dark. (And don't worry, Hug Monster, I think you act your age.) EDIT: I've just noticed, after giggling at Alan's reply again, that this sounds like a therapy group. I'm so slow.

As I was merrily scrolling down the page, as a girl, I was 'aaw'ing at the cute widdle dragons the other teams had to fight. Then I got to Green Team... OMFGBAHAMUT!!! *dead* I think Kuja's going to wet himself.

I'm in Liverpool, England. And if I've ever mentioned it to an American, they ask me if I've met the Beatles. o.O; I don't consider myself to be truly British. I was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and lived there until I was three. Then I moved to Thailand, then to England, then back to SA. I'm a bit of a mix, but I've got 'English blood', if you will. My accent is buggered though, heh.

Sumiyaka left swiftly to her quarters, blood rising steadily to her cheeks as Orlok's last words rang in her ears and seemed to probe her heart. She pursed her lips to a thin line and closed her eyes and she pushed open the double oak door into her large bedroom. Her bags were all packed and her shinai lay on top of it's case, ready to be inspected by the Lady Gwyar. Sumiyaka lifted the sword and slashed the air twice. It was silent, deadly. Sumiyaka loved it. She placed the wooden blade into its long, black case. After a quick clap her servant entered and collected her two small bags and Sumiyaka followed him out to the front of the castle carrying her shinai. She was dressed in a black dress, formal and elegant, but practical for travelling. Over her dress she wore a thick, velvet cape, the hood pulled up over her head to shield her form the harsh Russian wind. Orlok was to meet her out the front, then the pair would take a short car trip to the Gwyar's own airstrip. There was a small private plane waiting for them, ready to take off as soon as they arrived. The sun was starting to peek through thick clouds over the horizon, so Sumiyaka hurried, her hood covering her features. She stepped into the car, but not before passing an envelope to her servant. "Make sure Helios gets this," she said, slightly ashamedly, "It's very important." The servant bowed and retreated to the castle as the sun broke through the clouds. The car had tinted windows so Orlok and Sumiyaka were protected from the deadly rays and as the car rolled out of the large gravel drive, Sumiyaka couldn't help but turn her gaze back to the castle. How long would it be until she saw it again? How long until she saw Helios...she shook her head to clear her thoughts and instead rested back, a little happy to know, at least, that Orlok was not in the mood for more prying after their recent conversation. She thought of the latter she had left for Helios and hoped it was appropriate. If he saw her again it would be unbearable for the vampiress. The envelope held two things; a dried blood orchid, and a piece of paper, on which was written, quite simply; Life is a funny old thing, Your Elizabeth. A tear squeezed itself from Sumiyaka's eye and she wiped it away roughly with her knuckles. Ahead of them was India, where they would rest for one day before flying to Tokyo. India, according to their sources, was a calm place as far as vampire activity was concerned, but Sumiyaka had learnt by now not to trust corruptible information. She was content, for the moment, to rest until they reached the airport, then much danger was ahead. She tried not to dream. OOC: Mugen, I'm in the mood for a little fight, hope you are too. Feel free to get us mixed up with some less than savoury characters, if you wish. And ULX, I look forward to our meeting. *sweeping bow*

Quincy sat diligently through his lesson, waiting, as usual, for the final bell to go. He never learnt anything new in these damnable lessons and would rather be left in the library to teach himself things he would find useful. Near the end he felt something hit the side of his head. He twitched and turned slightly to look in the direction the paper ball had come from. His eyes met Dameon's and his upper lip curled into a snarl. The pretty young man across the room from him waved jovially, only to be met by Quincy mouthing something rather rude back. Dameon pouted sadly, putting on an over-exaggerated hurt look. Quincy merely rolled his eyes and slouched down in his chair, looking up at the wall clock again. Eventually, thankfully, the bell went and everyone (save Dameon) was dismissed. Quincy then met Sammy in the corridor and the pair of them walked and chatted for a while. As they turned a corner, Quincy walked straight into someone coming the other way. He winced and dropped his textbook, growling softly to himself, "Watch it, oaf." he wheezed...before he realised Bianca was on the floor holding her stomach. "Oh, oh dear. Bianca, I'm so sorry, I thought you were some stupid child..." Quincy reached out a hand, now quite ashamed of himself, and helped the winded girl up off the floor. Sammy scowled but tried to hide the expression with a worried smile. "You okay, B?" he asked, holding her by the elbow as Quincy supported her. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you." She took one glance at Quincy and then left to find Leah, leaving the two boys in a state of awkward silence.

Sumiyaka stood on a high tower at Gwyar castle. The old Vampires hadn't been totally old fashioned and, of all things, had a landing pad situated on a back tower. The vampiress saw Orlok's helicopter coming in the distance and stood patiently as it started to land. Her hair flapped along with her long leather coat and the buckles she'd left open clanged merrily in the cutting draft. She smiled a little and brought a hand up to her eyes to shield herself from the beams of the helicopters headlamps. Her green eyes flashed dimply in the sharp fluorescent light and only when Orlok stepped out of the 'copter did Sumiyaka step forward, ducking under the slowing rotor blades. "My dear Elizabeth," Orlok beamed and opened his arms, "How good to see you again." Sumiyaka bowed her head and gestured for her Lord to follow her inside, a lower vampire taking Orlok's bags into his temporary room. "I trust you had a good trip?" Sumiyaka asked conversationally, albeit quietly. There was regret in her voice and Orlok could sense it. "Yes, it was a shame to leave my wife, however. Always a shame to leave the ones we love." His statement lingered in the cold night air and Sumiyaka paused as Orlok's gaze settled on the back of her head. Then she speak softly, "I wouldn't know, if you'll pardon me." Orlok smiled knowingly and simply nodded, "Of course." The pair walked inside, making small talk as they crossed the grand corridors to a small living room next to the library. Sumiyaka knew it would be empty and Orlok had suggested that they sit down and talk before they prepared for the long journey ahead of them. Sumiyaka agreed, but asked that it would be short. She felt it would be best to leave while it was still dark and sleep on the plane. The woman crouched in front of the fireplace as Orlok settled into a tall-backed armchair. He sighed approvingly as he poured himself a Scotch and brushed some hair from his forehead with his knuckles. "And now we talk." OOC: Mugen, you post the conversation and them leaving? Or you could just post the conversation and I'll start off their journey. Whichever you want. Justice, if you want, feel free to jump in with any suggestions. We loves us some plot-bunnies. =) (Sorry for the delay, I got Kingdom Hearts a couple of days ago and...well, yeah.)

Character Overview Name: Payja Sunstorm Age: 27 Gender: Female Race: Human, from Tatooine Rank: Jedi Knight Appearance: Payja stands at 5?5?? in height, her build and features in proportion to each other. Her fighting style lends itself to a lean build and while Payja does not look like the strongest of fighters she can most definitely fight with the best of them. Her smallish build is very deceiving and many have been caught unawares by it. Her long slender legs and longs arms give Payja bursts of speed that are useful in battle, she is also able to jump easily. Her red hair is kept short and is usually spiky though this does not make her look less effeminate as it shows off her long face with it?s high cheek bones and slim eyes. Her eyes are a dark green colour, often getting darker when she is angry. Her lashes are long and thick, giving her a stare a very lasting effect on people. She has milky white skin and long fingers tipped with clipped nails. Her robes are a mixture of cream and brown, like Mace Windu's. She also has gold streaks along the front part of chest armour. Her boots are black suede and she wears a dark brown cloak like Obi Wan. Personality: Payja is, as her fighting style suggests, an aggressive woman when she wants to be. While most of the time she chooses not to hint at whatever emotion she is feeling at the time she does open up to her master and shows her ?true self? around him. When with the people she trusts, Payja wears a small smile and can crack out a few good jokes gaining laughs from those she socialises with. When pushed too far Payja has been known to snap, some claim this is because she was taken away from her family too soon, other?s have opinions they choose to keep to themselves. Sometimes sarcastic though mostly a genuinely decent human being, Payja is a steady and eager learner even though she can handle herself in most situations. While by no means the most elegant of fighters, Payja is fiercely determined and will carry out a mission to the very end no matter what the consequences. She is very loyal to her master and to the rest of the Jedi. She is a firm believer in morals and humanity. Biography: A sweltering hot day with the sand storms rising far off in the distance marked the birth of a little girl, second child of the house of Sunstorm. She didn?t cry when the nurse wrapped a soft brown towel around her, the few strands of dark red hair sprouting from her white and bloodstained head sticking to her forehead. Her mother was proud, no, ecstatic that her daughter had acted as such?. just as she had been told by the travelling Jedi Master. The woman, now in her forties, took the silent girl into her arms and cradled her softly to her chest, smiling warmly down at her newest daughter--the only daughter of the family. ?And you shall be Payja, my child, and you shall grow strong?? ---- The Sunstorm family well were respected people on the planet of Tatooine. Payja?s father (Sarle Sunstorm), a merchant and ex-pilot, had made a tidy sum of money over his years and he had donated a large amount of it to various charities. Her mother, a beautiful women, designed clothes but also made a point of going into the poorer areas of their hometown to help out with whatever she could. They were a model family and when their first son was born it was obvious that he would grow to be a great man. As his son grew older, Sarle Sunstorm knew instinctively that there was something about him that was special?different than the boys he had befriended. Even though he did not know what this feeling was he was sure that it was something good and pure. These suspicions were confirmed when a Jedi Master was forced to stop in Tatooine, his ship battered almost beyond repair. The people directed the Jedi to Sarle and his wife, Nu?Yav, telling him that he would be well looked after while his ship was repaired. The process, they explained, could well take up to a week if the Jedi was willing to wait that long. When the man entered the house of Sunstorm he immediately sensed the force strongly radiating from the child?s room. The boy, at the time, was six years old and his mother was with child once again. As the Jedi master entered the room and introduced himself to the women he was once again hit by the power of the force, faint though it was. After a few days of staying with the Sunstorm family he realised that their children, both the unborn and young boy, would become great fighters if they so wished. He informed the parents of this and they asked if he would one day come and visit them, he promised he would and that promise he carried out eight years later on the day of Payja?s brother?s birthday. He took both children the following day, showing more interest in the eight-year-old girl who clutched protectively to her brother?s hand while he instead wept for his mother. The girl shed no tears. She did not frown. It was as if she was void of all emotion. The Master knew all too well that she would turn out to be a Jedi while her brother would not survive through such intense training. As Payja?s skill grew with her years she realised that being a Jedi was what she wanted, and being a Master eventually was what she needed. Her master was killed while she was still a Padawan and even then she did not show any sign of sadness or remorse. The other Jedi did not know whether to be shocked or awed by this. Payja has made a name for herself among the other Jedi Knights. She is by no means the most powerful of them all; she repeatedly failed when training in using the Dual Lightsaber and was very close to injuring herself in the process. She is able to wield the force with acute accuracy, but once again she does not have much power when using it. Her master believed this was because she had no emotion, not even the adrenaline that anger provides when in the heat of battle. Payja is seemingly content with whatever situation she finds herself in and will remain loyal to her cause throughout. She continues to train harder than she has done when she was younger and is eager to move to a higher level. This sudden thirst for more power is proving to be worrying to a few Jedi masters; it is something they have decided to keep a watch on. Jedi Overview Lightsaber: Payja uses a single Lightsaber having long ago abandoned any hope of mastering the skill with Dual Lightsabers. Her inability to master combat made it clear that she shouldn?t attempt to use a more complex weapon and her skills with a single Lightsaber are pretty efficient. The blade itself is a bright yellow colour, giving the whole Lightsaber a very rustic look. She prefers this colour as it reminds her of home, with the vast expanses of sand and brown that was there. The hilt is made of a bronze coloured metal and has a very rough appearance with scores across one side of the hilt for a much better grip. Payja finds this to work much better for her, as it lets her keep control over her weapon in fast combat. The hilt itself is very simple in design with the activator being the only protruding aspect of the Lightsaber. The hilt itself is short, just long enough for Payja to wrap both hands around it. The top of the hilt has a guard for her hands which spreads out in a star shape, Payja has been known to use this part of her hilt as a weapon without even activating the blade. Payja has made sure that her Lightsaber is as light as possible; she finds this easier to handle considering the style of fighting she uses. On the end of the hilt hangs a short chain with two beads on the end, one red and the other black. Payja has these as charms?they remind her of her master and how he is always with her in spirit while he cannot be there in person. Lightsaber Style: Shien (Form IX)- Payja, while lacking in areas of combat, tries harder than most to prove herself. Shien, being an agressive form, shows Pajya's slightly arrogant side in that she only wants others to see that she is capable and she is powerful. To make up for her unsure footing and occasional slips, Payja is an all-out offensive fighter who believes in going quick for a defeat. Favoured Force Power: Battle Meditation- Simply put, Payja knows that her skills can let her down in intense combat, and is covering her basis by training herself to use this technique expertly well. View of the Force: Payja is not a woman who concentrates her energy into something that she feels won?t bring her something in return. The Force, to her, is something that will bring her recognition and status, and this seems to be very important to her. She respects the Force, and wishes that it works on her side throughout her time as a Jedi. Good stuff, looking forward to this.

I'm shocked ULX went, too, I've lost my one of my allies. *sniffle* Wish Squishy could have stayed with the team.
-
I agree with what Annie said, it's a lot easier if you stick with someone in an RP like this where character 'bonding', as it were, is encouraged. And Annie, your posts have been brilliant~ You pull Quincy off so damn well.
-
I already told Mugen, but I'll post it here as well. I won't be participating in this RPG because I have exams starting next week and should really be studying. It's bloody annoying, considering how many talented people are in this. Oh well, have fun, everyone.
-
Sandy, these rounds where you have to post often are really putting as at a disadvantage. =/ (Not that I'm a bad sport-well done to the Adventurers, I just feel I should point something out here) We managed to get our whole team posted first, because Sakura and I made sure to PM/IM people when they were online. But everyone on my team is in different time zones, so it's impossible for us to post often. As far as I know, three people on the Adventurers are in England. I'm just pointing out that rounds where you have to post fast or often is going to immediately put people at a disadvantage. It doesn't seem all that fair. *sighs* I tried.
-
Sakura, I agree with you. The only reason I'm sticking with it is because Quincy is hella easy to handle. Citrus, I think if you want this RP to continue well, you should administer some quality control, if you see what I mean. Posts of only a few lines of speech aren't all that useful to build up on.

Kuja giggled softly as Mario blushed a little after seeing the damage he caused to a poor creature. The fact that said creature had just been handling a bomb w2ith such a carefree nature did not, obviously, bother Kuja in the slightest. He just smiled. He always smiled. "I wonder where that Sora boy is." Kuja said, more to himself than Mario. The plumber shrugged and dusted off his overalls before continuing on his way. Kuja, after a moment of staring into space, also shrugged and followed Mario. He figured the little man would know more about this world than he did, and seeing as Kuja wasn't too keen on learning new things, figured that the easiest thing to do would be follow someone who knew what they were doing. He'd slipped out of Trance mode a while ago; it seemed to make Mario go a funny shade of grey. Kuja then, most unfortunately, encountered something that he had never wanted to. A large group of koopas. On top of each other. Mario stopped and cocked his head to the side. Kuja felt ill, he assumed they were mating. "Eh-a, looks like there-a might have been-a some fighting here." "Is that why they're..." Kuja tried to bring himself to say it, "Propagating?" Mario stared and then laughed, shaking his head. "No, no, they seem to be climbing over themselves to get away from us. I can't imagine we'd be very welcome if someone has just come through here and destroyed many of them." "Ah, yes..." Kuja was relieved. Now he could kill things to prove it. He smiled and cracked his knuckles, walking over to the koopa who promptly fell over themselves to try and escape. He blinked and stepped forward again and few of the little turtles even went so far as the throw themselves down onto other paths, chancing the fact that they may just missed solid ground. Kuja giggled, more menacingly than before, and then remembered his company. He settled for a dark chuckle. "Eh, Kuja!" the one addressed turned to Mario, "One of the koopa must-a had a mushroom!" he pointed a gloved finger to a box on the platform below. Kuja smiled and jumped down, hitting the mushroom as he went, and shooting up once more. He butted his nose against the box opposite and a coin fell on his head. "Oof..." was all he could manage.

Quincy was, at this moment in time, distraught. A dance. The epitome of all-evil in High School. He stared at the posted on the wall opposite his English class and felt a muscle twitch near his eye. No wonder he needed damn glasses. Usually, people who didn't socialise just wouldn't go to dances. Sadly for Quincy, he did not have that option. For him, it was go by choice, or be forced by insane relatives. Because if his mother didn't force him, his aunt would berate him. Or his dad's friend down at the market would drop a hint of how 'young people these days need to get married so young *cough, elbow, wink*' Quincy sighed and his shoulders sagged. Might as well deal and go, he supposed it couldn't hurt. Well...then again, this was high school. He leant against the corridor wall and ran a hand through his thick locks. He prayed no one would ask him, and if any of his teachers even hinted at the fact he should take a date he'd just walk straight out. Girls were scary--he decided this many years ago, and despite the fact he had what he believed to be gas every time he saw Bianca, he wouldn't dare ever ask her to go with him. So he'd go alone, he'd slip in at the back, stay for an hour, and then slip out. It was a good plan, Quincy decided, and he should stick with it. Yes. Quincy was then, most unfortunately, brought down into a strong headlock in mid thought. He snarled and tried to break free but instead ended up flailing miserably. He recognised the laugh and turned his gaze up to see Sammy, next to him was a boy he recognised as Dameon. He snarled again seeing as Dameon wasn't exactly his favourite person in the world. Then again, neither was Sammy. "So, Quincy, going to the dance?" Sammy asked, still keeping the scrawnier boy in a firm hold. Quincy gasped and grabbed Sammy's arm lamely before answering with what was supposed to be a defiant 'Yes, unfortunately'. Sammy merely laughed and instead walked out of the closest door, Quincy in tow. The bespectacled teen whimpered softly and tried to struggle free again, his book bag smacking into his legs as he was [STRIKE]walked[/STRIKE] dragged out into the courtyard. Sammy directed him to a seat and sat down next to him, not bothering to see if Dameon had followed. Quincy glared and stood to leave but Sammy tugged him down. "Eat with me today." "Wh-" "Just do it." OOC-Goddess, ULX, I hope this is okay. Your characters don't seem like bullies (and I hope I didn't make them to seem as such) but they do seem like the type to be amused by Quincy's antics.

Kuja, deciding that speed was now of the essence, had slipped into his Trance mode. It was easier to float around this way and to frighten possible delays out of his way. He meandered around the 8-Bit world, lazily casting disgusted glances at any poor, defenceless turtles that happened to try and look threatening. Eventually he spotted his teammate Mario and, thinking that friendship was a good thing, floated down just behind the little Italian. "Excuse me, friend." Mario seemed to spasm as Kuja's now much darker voice drifted to his ears. He turned and twitched, moustache quivering gently in Kuja's immense dark aura. "Ah, er...Hallo there-a, Mr. Kuja" his mouth twitched at the corners in an attempt to smile, unfortunately his muscles weren't easily deceived and his expression instead settled to one of either hidden fear or feigned interest. Kuja ignored this and instead stepped closer. Mario stepped back. "Oh, listen here," Kuja snapped, "Have I tried to kill anyone on my team yet?" Mario stared and shook his head gently. "Well-a..." he begun, but Kuja cut him off. "Exactly. Now I know I haven't been the best of people in my short little life, and I still strike fear in the hearts of those in my world, but I'm trying to be nice. I really am, so please, I don't want more enemies than I need in this game. Least of all those who are supposed to be on my own team." Mario seemed a little surprised as Kuja's shoulders sagged from the effort of what was supposed to be an emotional speech. He eventually scratched his head just below the band of his hat and sighed, walking forward with his hand extended towards Kuja. "We are on the same-a team, we should-a be friends!" Kuja smiled, took Mario's hand, and nodded. Finally some headway for him. He was positively beaming inside, but wouldn't outwardly show it just in case Mario because suspicious. "Right then, if we could maybe stick together? I have a feeling this challenge will end soon and I'd like some company." Mario merely nodded and the two headed off. Along the way, after much gleeful stamping, Kuja spotted a mushroom. Mario was kind enough to let his new-found-friend take it as he'd spotted it first and Kuja shot up once again. He smiled down at Mario and swept an arm to his side, gesturing for the plumber to carry on his way.

Quincy sighed. He simply didn't have time for such inane things as these. Discuss his past with classmates? What did this idiot of a teacher think he was; six? He grumbled and plainly ignored the bouncy redhead who slipped easily into a seat opposite the table form him. Another boy, Quincy believed his name to be Michael, sat next to him. He groaned as he saw Kiala's eyes light up and rested his head back so he looked at the ceiling. After a few minutes of blabbering that he preferred to block out, Quincy felt a sharp jab in his ribs. His grunted and clutched instinctively at his gut, glaring meaningfully at the culprit. his gaze fell on Michael, who simply lazed but in his chair and grinned foppishly. Quincy heard a happy sigh from across the table and felt a muscle beneath his eye twitch. "Don't touch me." he simply said before attempting to go back to resting. "Uh, don't be such a jerk." Kiala pouted, slightly exasperated, "You have to, like...introduce yourself." "And what if I don't want to?" Quincy's voice was icy and stern and he knew his glare was equally as cold. Kiala flushed red with anger back backed down, her cheeks puffing slightly from suppressed annoyance. "My name is Quincy and I can't stand people who invade my privacy. That's all you need to know." He closed his eyes, pushed his glasses up his nose and folded his arms. No, he had decided quite firmly now, he wasn?t a people person. OOC: Apologies in advance to everyone--Quincy has a pole stuck up his ass. =)

Kuja jogged slowly over to where he saw Yuna towering over a quivering Goomba. She looked a little disappointed that she had to squish the little thing, but Kodago was growling incessantly and she thought it would be for the best. She stepped on it. Kuja squealed in girlish delight and ran over. "Oh, hello, Kuja." Yuna smiled, she was only a little taller than Kuja and he figured she'd found another mushroom. He smiled back and waved up to his team mate happily, before spotting a line of Goomba's advancing towards the pair. "Oh, fun!" he giggled, running over with a Blizzaga spell already in his dainty hands. Overkill? Maybe. But Kuja was having such fun. Unfortunately he obliterated half of the path. He frowned at seeing another Green Team member emerging from the ice dust. It was Riku, and he really didn't look too pleased at the fact that Squishy had emptied his bladder on his leg at the sight of multiple exploding Goombas. "Oh, my apologies, Riku. Got a little carried away." Riku stalked past Yuna and Kuja and carried on his way to find another mushroom. Kuja huffed and spun on his heel, taking a leap down onto a lower level, going through two orange boxes, and landing on some 8-Bit green, green grass with a silly smile on his face. "I do adore these challenges..." He left Yuna with Kodago and went on a search for another mushroom. He didn't really like being tall-it made him less pretty, he found. But still, it was all in the spirit of the game! He posed with a fist in the air, a triumphant expression on his face...and a mashed mushroom under his foot. He winced and heard the familiar cracking as his bones grew and appeared, much taller, in a little cloud. He giggled again and skipped away to find more squishy things to step on.

Gaming Do You Think Sex Should be on Video Games?
Ezekiel replied to serenayasha's topic in Noosphere
You make no sense what-so-ever. If you don't like sex in video games, don't buy video games that have a sexual content in them, same way as you won't see a movie with sex in if you don't like it. All logical things that needed to be said were covered very early, so there isn't much point in me restating them. I can't see why you have a problem with something that isn't doing anything wrong in the first place. (And in any case, I do believe that people would dislike mindless violence in video games much more than a little bit of a sex scene.)
