OOC I'm not totally sure if you want one of us to instigate the fight in our Introduction posts, so, I'll type what I can and if you want me to edit I'll do that ASAP. "Yo, Silence." Quincy's nose wrinkled in disgust as the stench of stagnant beer and vomit wafted over to him, why the boss had chosen a place such as this for any kind of confrontation was beyond him. "Hello, Ronin." the usual scowl was firmly in place, the expression used only when dealing with the alcohol-loving assassin. "I see you found your friend." Quincy gestured to the beer glass clamped firmly in Ronin's strong fingers, his top lip curled slightly in disapproval. He reached into his elaborate silk robes and pulled out a cloth, wiping down a stool before he sat. The barman rolled his eyes and shuffled further away form the pair, obviously not wanting to be in the way when Quincy snapped and threw Ronin over the bar. "So, 'oo else'll be comin', eh?" "It's just us, I'm afraid to say." Quincy, already annoyed at the fact he was stuck on a mission with a man whom he couldn't stand to be around for more than ten minutes, was even angrier at the fact that they had been sent to a bar. "Do you have no self-control, man?" Quincy blurted out as Ronin took another long swig from his mug. The man simply shook his head and grinned broadly, shaking his finger dangerously close to Quincy's face. "Ya should learn ta loosen up, or you're neva gonna get a shag!" "You.... disgust me." At this point Quincy had taken enough of the smell and Ronin's voice and decided it was best for his health to wait outside, not bothered if Ronin drunk his sorry self into a dazed stupor. "It would be easier if he was killed off..." Quincy grumbled to himself as he stepped outside, slamming the door shut behind him while trying desperately to block out Ronin?s muffled laughs and insults currently being yelled from inside. In the distance, the sound of an engine drew nearer, Quincy's ears twitched and he turned his head only slightly to see the dim glow of headlights on the dark tarmac. He kept his poker face and drew himself up, chest puffed out in a stance that showed that he was in control. "We've been waiting."

Okay, so now I see where you're coming from with seeing what different girls like. You say you're a musician? Now while I know a lot of my friends wouldn't be drawn to that in a guy, I'm old fashioned and think it's great when a guy can play an instrument really well. What kind do you play, anyway? Just the other night my friend Robert asked me what he could do to surprise his girlfriend. He felt that the relationship was falling apart and wanted to do something romantic, the best thing I could think of was buying a simple flower with a small note saying 'I love you'. I'm not sure why, but little gestures like that I think are the nicest when it comes to showing someone how much you care. My friend Natalie and I both agree on the fact that saying 'I love you' when your partner isn't expecting it is better than telling them whenever you see them. I still stand by the fact that I like to be surprised, I think other girls will agree with me?

Name- Jamie Nesbitt Age- 22 Gender- Female Favourite Pool Pun- "Concentrate on the balls on the table, lads." followed by a cheeky wink, no less. Appearance- Jamie Usually seen to be wearing hipster jeans and tank tops no matter what the weather, Jamie isn't afraid to show some skin but she does know when to stop and manages to pull off a skimpy outfit without looking the least bit slutty. Personality- Jamie is cheeky, confident and isn't afraid to flaunt what she's got, that is, if there's someone to impress. Known for being an excellent and hard worker, a reliable friend, but also a great girlfriend, Jamie has managed to spread herself evenly over all the playing fields. She has fun when she can but also knows when to knuckle down and concentrate on the more mundane things in life. Always one for a dare and a party, Jamie also keeps her eyes open for any threats and will easily fight someone for herself or her friends. She is funny but sarcastic and bitterly honest; it's this attitude that pushes some people away while others find it oddly attractive. Not the best at pool, Jamie prefers to sit at the bar watching the boys play their games. She can, however, play cards with the best of them and most of the time she will win. Whether or not this is due to the amount of skin she shows has yet to be decided. Even though Jamie likes to flirt she has never been in a serious relationship and has got to the point where she'd like to settle down with 'Mister Right'. All of her friends maintain that this is an impossibility as there really is no such thing. Writing Sample- If the creator can't bother his backside to get this up yet, then neither can I. ^_~

Ah! That fist is coming right at me! ;__; I really like the poster, but it would probably be more effective if you gave some colour to Mr. Headband. That's what I think, anyway. You done the placement of the fist really well, looks very clean and cut. Looking forward to seeing this.

James and Tony hit the nail on the head, really. With everyone being so different in every part of their lives, there isn't any way you can say ?This is how to attract a woman. Any woman.? I'm in a relationship, have been for 2 months but I've known him for almost a year. I still don't understand him; sometimes things he says totally catch me off guard. I think this just shows that you have to get together with a person before trying to understand them on every level. My suggestion is if you find a girl you really like, be her friend before anything else.

So far I'd have to say one of the worst games I've played is Monster Hunter, now while it may be a little unfair for me to say that since it was only a demo, it didn't give me much hope for the actual game. The graphics were gorgeous, I'll give it that, but actual game play ruined it for me. The controls are awful and very impractical for fighting and since you go straight into a fight instead of setting up an actual arena (like in FF) I think good and fast controls are essential. The sword I had to use is massive and the controls for using that are terrible. There was also one point where I was fighting totally blind because the camera doesn't move with your character fast enough and I had a cliff right in front of my camera while my character was behind it being swamped by three dinosaurs. It's a game that has the potential of being awesome, but also the type to give a massive headache.

There are a few things I'd like to change, I guess, nothing major though. When I was young (and stupid) I done a lot of, well....stupid things. Things that I look back on and while I wasn't embarrassed about them then because I didn't know any better, I cringe now thinking about them. There was one time when my cousins had come over to South Africa to visit us; I was about nine at the time. When they were leaving and I was helping with their bags I smiled and held out my hand asking if they had any money left over from their trip. At the time I had no idea what I was doing was rude, but I look back now and wish I'd never opened my mouth. But I suppose what I've done in my past has shaped the person I am today, and I quite like me, changing one simple thing could make me a completely different person.

I actually had a pretty bizarre dream last night, and made the mistake of telling my friends and now they won't leave me alone. It's not weird because of what happens in the dream...more because of who was in it. There's a boy in my year, Dino, I think his name is. He?s Cantonese and joined the school a couple of months ago. I have never spoken to him, sat next to him or been associated with him in any way before and yet he was in my dream last night like he was my best friend. I have no idea why. The whole dream was just me, Dino, and a couple of other friends sitting in a lesson. Dino was next to me, I got a question wrong, and he gives me this big hug going 'Aaaw, poor Jamie'. I replied with something like; 'WTF? Dino, gerroff!' and he didn't *sad* Yup, weird dream indeed. I also had one about biting a dinosaur that changed into my dog...but really, I shouldn't go into that.

A while back I deleted all of my fanart and left it like that for a good month or two. Last month, I believe it was, I submitted a new piece and saw that all my old votes had been saved. I know that's how the system works, and that's fine. I've just uploaded a new piece, and whereas my rating was previously at 80% from all my old votes and the picture from last month, it's now been cut in half to 40%. I really don't see why this should have happened, is it a new part of the art rating system? I'm actually quite irked that my rating has been sliced in two when it took a good long time to get it up to 80%. Could anyone tell me why this should have happened? Edit: Uploaded another picture to see what would happen, now my rating has decreased to 27%, this really can't be right. Edit2: Not sure if someone tinkered with the problem, but now it's been fixed. Thanks a lot.

Finally done, hope this is what you need, James. Charlie Bucket Parent/Guardian: Grandpa Joe. Age: 14 Vice: None. Biography: Charlie lives the life that no teenage boy wants to live; one full of broken toys, ragged clothes and little to no luxuries in life. It has always been this way for Charlie, so he knows no different and most of his family view this as a small comfort seeing as he doesn?t realise what he?s missing out on. Always close to his Grandpa, Charlie has been raised on being good with his hands, able to carve small statues and dolls out of a lifeless piece of wood. While he is by no means a master of the art, it?s something that keeps his mind off the more mundane things such as chores and homework. Since Charlie has never been able to indulge himself in things like chocolate, television or sweets, he has never had a sweet tooth and has no great need for anything in life except to get by with good health. A kind and warm-hearted boy, Charlie will go out of his way to help his family, and despite the fact he has hardly any money, is the most generous fourteen year old you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. Despite his hard life and bullying at school, Charlie keeps a smile on his face and his chin held high ready to face each day. One fateful day, Charlie was asked to go and fetch groceries for his mother, told that whatever change was left over, he could use. Excited about this sudden fortune in his pocket, Charlie quickly made his way to the grocery store, taking a short cut through a market on the way home. It was in this market that he saw it, the biggest display of chocolate the young boy had ever set his eyes on. Somehow hypnotised by the mound of sugary treats, Charlie found himself being drawn to the stand, saddened to find that he was a few pennies away from affording one of the bars. Lightly fingering the coins around in the palm of his hand, Charlie gave a sigh and started to head off only to be called back by the storeowner, who luckily, was a kind man himself. Charlie was granted a bar at a discount and told that if he found a golden ticket inside he would be one of only six children to be admitted to Willy Wonka?s estate. His heart filled with hope, Charlie ripped upon the wrapper and watched in awe and amazement as a slip of gold fluttered into his open hand. Appearance: Seeing as Charlie lives off boiled cabbage and corn beef sandwiches, he hasn?t had the chance to put any weight on and has a very skinny appearance. This is only enhanced by his over sized hand-me-down jumpers and jeans which hang loosely over his pale frame. Charlie owns one leather black belt which he wears constantly, scared that his jeans will fall down in public. He wears trainers, which are coming away at the sole and look constantly grubby along with fingerless cotton gloves that his grandpa gave to him when he was ten. Since his family can?t afford fashionable clothes, Charlie has tried to make a fashion for himself, always being drawn to the style that the likes of Wonka promotes. Seeing as his ageing grandmother knits his jumpers, he requests grey, seeing as it?s the cheapest wool, and asks that the go down to the middle of his thigh with his fading blue jeans bunching when they reach his feet. A simple chain picked up on the way home from school is always attached to his belt and his black gloves, washed only thrice in their life, never seem to come off. With naturally thick, blond hair worn down to his shoulders and blue eyes that never seem to loose their sparkle, Charlie is an obviously attractive young boy, with only a few freckles sprinkled across the bridge of his nose. He has milky white skin but cheeks with a rosy hue, giving him a constantly flushed or embarrassed look, which is less than appreciated in school. Grandpa Joe maintains that he was once young and handsome, a joke which is lost on the whole family. He now wears an unevenly clipped, grey beard, with bushy eyebrows, typical of an old man, along with grey hair hanging long at the back and sides of his head. His eyes are a milky blue, his eye site failing rapidly in his years. Smile lines are apparent around Joe?s eyes and the corner of his mouth, with dimples creasing into the velvety skin when he laughs. His skin is tanned from working in the vegetable patch and his hands are gnarled, fighting desperately against arthritis. Always seen to be wearing brown slacks with a white long sleeve shirt (first three buttons undone, sleeves rolled up) along with black, beaten leather shoes, Joe is your typical grandfather and carpenter. Phew. I think I?ll actually enjoy playing Charlie more than I would Veruca. That is, if I get in.

Hope you don't mind that I'm using my last sign up, Kairi. Sorry I took so long to post. Name: Imogen Nesbitt Age: 23 Sex: Female Location: London, England Appearance: Imogen stands at a small 5'5'' with short red hair, grey green eyes and milky skin. She goes to the gym once a week, making sure that her figure is kept in the best possible condition, she isn't obviously strong but if need be, she can pack a very hard punch. Usually dressing in corduroy pants and t-shirts, she looks like a sixteen year old rather than a fully qualified adult. She's usually described as cute rather than pretty, it's something that annoys her to no end as most of the guys who?ve ever liked her have been at least 5 year younger than her. She always wears plastic bangles on her arms along with a pair of fingerless gloves that reach her elbows. Her clothing is pretty basic colour wise, most of them black, white or purple. Personality: Imogen likes friends and she likes family, but even since she was young she has preferred to be in her own company. She wasn?t shy, in fact, she was very confident but liked the quiet of her room so that she could draw or write. She keeps few friends close to her, but is always willing to go out if she?s invited, she?s generally a very well liked person. She has never had a boyfriend and has never shown a need to have one, though she does wish that she had someone to love and be loved. She?s nervous about going to the mansion, but more than ready to take on the challenge though she isn?t planning on making any friends. Bio: Imogen lived a normal childhood in her normal home in London, specifically, Hertfordshire. She always believed that her parents were happy and in love throughout her earlier years, it was only when she reached her teen years that she realised what had been going on in the marriage, gnawing away at her mother from the inside. her father was having an affair and her mother had kept it bottled up inside, until one day, after Imogen asked why her mother looked so angry, she yelled that she hated Imogen?s father. It shocked Imogen and it was after that that all the stories came out. She lost respect for her father and became closer to her mother. During that time she stopped concentrating on subjects like science and maths and instead concentrated on English and art, her best subjects. She later went to an art college and from there went on to be a very successful illustrator. She?s made a name for herself, also writing articles in magazines on occasion, but at the moment she is on a break and views going to the mansion an excellent opportunity to broaden her horizons with regards to other countries and cultures. Greatest Desire: Find somewhere where she can be truly happy, without all the stress of life. Greatest Fear: To be forgotten or hated by those she loves.

I have to thank Ozy for showing these cute little critters to me, really, you saved my life, girl. *respect* Simple request really, the picture attached *points* will be the banner, just take out the unnecessary text. If you could put 'Bunny Dance' in pink/blue writing up at the top somewhere that would be cool. For the avi I'd like the blue bunny, cause he's cute. If the avi could have 'Gabe' on it (in pink), that would be excellent. Thanks to whoever does this, much appreciated.

Emi looked around at the other students who had introduced themselves, pleased to see the girls shared her opinion when it came to short hair. Of course, she hadn't caught their names; the sound of her music wouldn't allow something like that. Settling down again after another sweeping glance across the room, Emi seemed to drift off into a daydream. It was only because of someone throwing a pencil at her head that she woke up with a rather loud snort, getting glances of confusement from her classmates. "Itaii..." she rubbed the back of her head, turning around to look into the impish face of her friend Chizuru. With big black eyes and a bun hairstyle, Chizuru looked like she belonged in second year rather than a high school. Emi groaned and shook off her headphones, running a hand through her shocking hair. "Nande, Chizuru-chan?" "Nice shot with the Toji-loser, Emi-san." Chizuru giggled, shooting a demeaning glance in Toji's direction. Emi sighed and turned around, choosing to ignore her friend. "What's up with you?" Chizuru whispered, her voice sounding somewhat hurt. "Nothing, just lay off Toji for a while..." Little did Emi know, a few of the resident gossipers had picked up on the conversation, soon enough rumours would begin to fly. How fun the school year would be.

Lucian rubbed his temples and stared at his timeline, the one band he had grown to love. The music he had grown up with listening to. The way he had run his life for the past seven years. All of it had been taken because of one pissed off crack-head scientist... Lucian stood, an unnervingly stern look on his usually happy face. "I say we work at this until we find them. No holds barred, eh, mates?" The room murmured a reply, Bill obviously not too pleased with Lucian's sudden change in attitude. "Well I say you sit your ass down and listen, mate. Let the more experienced members deal with this, who says you're going on the mission?" "I wouldn?t have been called here if I wasn't," Lucian spat back, venom in his tone, "'Sides, you lot need me." Again, his coy smirk was in place and he winked at Pru, "You know what I mean, babe." She shuddered and scooted next to Bill. Protection, it seemed, from the raving lunatic that was Lucian. "Let's get serious, guys." Jude, ever the voice of reason, managed to call order to the room once again. OOC I fear teh glove...I also think Lucian is a masochist O_o;

Emi followed up on Seiryuu's introduction and scooted over next to Lai, giving her a small smile and a wave. "I'm Emi, it's nice to meet you, Lai." Lai nodded and took Emi's hand, returning the smile. Emi continued, seeing that Lai had nothing else to say, "I hope you enjoy your time here, and please, if you get lost or anything feel free to come and ask." "Arigato, Emi-chan." Another smile and Emi sat back down in her own seat, slipping on some headphones. She would be the welcoming committee for the rest, but only after this song had finished. She bopped her head to the beat of Asian Kung-Fu Generation, a band frowned upon but her friends for being too 'rock' even though Emi insisted that they were one of the best bands going. She sighed and settled her head in her folded arms, tilting slightly to look at the rest of the class. Her gaze fell upon the brunette, 'Oh, he's the guy who ran into me. Poor thing.' "Psst." Toji looked up, turning his head around to see who had whispered. "Toji, over here." Emi whispered again, slipping her headphones off. She waved to catch Toji's attention, which she managed quite fantastically as he sat with his mouth slightly open, a look of dazed confusement clearly on his face. "Erm, you dropped these." Emi dug into her bag and tossed Toji?s glasses to him, unfortunately for him, the shock of Emi knowing his name caused his brain to shut down resulting in his sunglasses smacking him square between the eyes. He whimpered and clutched his face, toppling from his chair. Emi cringed and went back to listening to music, shaking her head in sympathy. OOC Writing about Toji isn't all that difficult, considering I was like him once. You know what I'm talking about, don?t you, ULX? Yeah. Of course you do... *grumbles*

Urban Chance The heavy beats of 50 Cent seemed to make the very pavement shake, young men sitting on dirty boxes with their jeans hanging around their knees bobbed their heads, their fingers crossed with the usual greeting between gang members. A black Porsche cruised down the street, somehow the driver was oblivious to the copious amount of death traps disguised at potholes. He looked out the window and nodded slowly to one of the men on the side of the street, his top lip curled in a sneer. ?You got a problem wit me, player?? the one on the pavement shouts, smacking his chest in an attempt to intimidate the driver. ?Nah, man, I ain?t got no problem wit you. I jus? got a problem wit ya hood, yo.? The man in the car laughs, his girlfriend leaning over to blow a kiss to the one he addressed before he guns the engine, speeding around the corner and out of sight. ?What the hell was his problem, man?? ?Leave it man, you ain?t got no beef wit a player like him.? ?Word.? Only a few streets away a VW drives around the corner, a middle aged white man sitting in the front seat looking absolutely terrified. His daughter, only 17 herself, looks bored out of her mind. ?Father, if you look scared they?ll laugh at you. These guys think they?re cool because they can?t speak English properly and have their jeans hanging off their arses.? ?Don?t swear, dear.? ?Yes, mother.? The disgruntled teen sits back and sighs, blowing some hair from her face. She was going to boarding school. In this neighbourhood? Of course not. Her parents know only one route to St. James School of Arts and that was through this sub-par section of Manhattan. The place where gangs and drugs thrived. Yes, Imogen?s parents were terrified that her daughter would become a drugged up stripper?and enjoy every minute of it. But Art is what she wanted and this school was the one place she would get the best education regardless of the neighbourhood. So, the school gates came into view, the pristine lawn and perfect building was some sort of relaxant for Imogen?s parents as they drove in. Back in ?Section Z? news spread of a new student for the school. A Brit, no less, soon the whole neighbourhood would know about this, everyone knew that soon the students would want to get away from the school and come down to the clubs and there sure would be a welcome for the new arrival. Not yet realised, the girl?s father was well known amongst the gang leaders. Known for drug trafficking and not paying his debts. When her name was found out, all hell would break loose. Pity most of the people around were ?gangsta? wannabes? --- Ehm, this is a comedy, in case anyone was wondering. I watched ?Get Shorty? and found the whole idea hilarious. So now, before anyone is worried about overuse of drugs and guns, most of the characters in this are going to be buffoons who think they?re cool and ?gangsta?. I?ve got a few characters that I need, or, if you prefer, take these as guidelines for the kind of characters I want in this RP. I?m taking the position of Imogen, but apart from that we have these guys? Rida Jo Possibly one of the most idiot teenagers to ever grace the streets of ?Section Z?. He thinks he?s cool, has decimated his eardrums with the likes of Jay Z and 50 Cent and dreams of becoming a world famous rapper with his ?whoop *** skills, yo!?. He wears his jeans around his knees and his boxers pulled up to his navel. A 9mm hidden in his back pocket covered by a purple and yellow silk basketball shirt, his cap always worn backwards. He?s in numerous relationships and is, for some reason, very popular with the ladies. He can?t rap and he usually mixes his words up when it comes to using ?street lingo?. Rida insists on adding ?yo? to every sentence. He is a member of one of the less known but very determined gangs. Killa He lives by his name and it is known to all, Killa is a professional. He has never once missed a shot and has been known to take out a whole gang with only two handguns. Though the reliability of that story has yet to be decided. He is cool, calm, and collected and possibly one of the only people who dresses sensibly and doesn?t use many slang words when he talks. He is a very rich man, drives a navy blue Lincoln with leather interior and has a very large apartment all to himself. Killa is big and beefy and works for himself only. He belongs to no gang, but is closer friends with ?Mike Akita? leader of one of the most infamous gangs in Section Z. Jin Hoshi-Innocent A student at Imogen?s new school, Jin is intelligent, kind and very, very attractive. He is 18 and loves to draw, manga being his speciality. He takes an instant liking to Imogen and soon becomes her best friend, making sure to look out for her and warn her of the dangers of going down into Section Z. Those three characters I would just love to have, especially Jin, he?s a key part. I would also very much like someone to play a gay character who will befriend Imogen but just happens to kick major ***? This RP is going to have some very bad language and violence, but all in good humour. I hope you can see from the characters I listed what kind of characters I would like you all to make. Please feel free to go crazy (not too crazy) and make this as entertaining as possible. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to PM me. Now to the sign up. Name: Street Name: Gang: (optional) Age: No less that 17 Gender: Appearance: It might be easier to describe appearances, but if you can find a suitable real or anime picture then that?s fine, too. Equipment: For the students, this will be the stuff they carry with them when they go into the town (no weapons, though I?ll allow pepper spray and tasers). For ?gangstas? (got to love that word) you can have any gun you want, I?ll even let you go a little crazy and have some swords/knives. If you want you can also include transport (car/motorcycle), jewellery etc. Personality: Quirks and mannerisms Extract of Character: Instead of bio, I?d like you to type a short piece showing me how you character will act within the RPG, like a small post of sorts. Also, the Russian mafia will be involved in this RP, so far I was planning on having them as NPC but if you want to make a character in the mafia, go ahead. Oh, a small note. For Gangsta names, I?m looking for ones that are funny and cliché, so please, don?t hold back. Jin reserved for Innocent

I'm replying to this because...well, ULX asked me too and he needs to get the next chapter up. ^_^; I printed this chapter off, it was that good, sure I've just had to re-read it to actually remember what happened, but it was brilliantly funny, especially the argument. I really look forward to the next chapter from what you told me yesterday, it'll be even better than this. Great job, babe, you better keep this story going or I may have to force you somehow ^_~

Excellent stuff! I got fireball hurling, hurrah! It would probably be easier if you stuck with calling me Saishi, too, just for less confusion ^_^; I'm honoured I was in the first bit of this story and it really is quite excellent, I enjoyed it immensely. I also think you pulled Ozy off brilliantly, you got her just right. Heh. She seems scary. ... *hides*

*squeal* They're gorgeous, thanks a bunch, Ozy, you're incredible these are just what I was looking for. I like both sets, so I'll probably end up switching around. *squeezes* Thanks again. If anyone else wants to try their hand at this, feel free, I'm up for a difference.

Because of my new obsession, I feel I should have a change of theme. Ermac is by far my favourite character, followed by Jade, but I can't find any good pictures of either of them sadly. The one Ermac picture I have attached (that guy there with the glowing green eyes) is tiny but I think will be suitable for an avatar. The pictures of Raiden and Mileena are for the banner; I'd just like my name to be on it somewhere, hopefully the dragon, too (on the Mileena picture). It would be cool if the dragon were centred with just the word 'Deception' going over it. The avatar should just have my name in the bottom left hand corner. On the banner, if a background will be showing, I'd like it to be a mix of electric blue for Raiden and cerise pink for Mileena, for the avatar it should just be a green that matches with Ermac. Thanks a lot for anyone who does this, much appreciated. (I'm going for a really striking and sharp look for this, just so that who ever takes the request knows)

Emi watched as Toji bolted down the street away form her. She frowned and looked down, seeing his glasses on the floor, "He couldn't get away from me fast enough." she sighed, not used to boys running away from her on a hot summer day. Leaning down to pick up the black sunglasses, she formed an idea. If these meant anything to Toji at all, and they were very nice glasses, he would come back for them. Emi shoved the glasses into her shoulder bag and carried on her way to meet her friends at the park. It occurred to her as she was walking that she had only ever heard Toji's name in class, strange, he seemed to be a pretty memorable guy...if a little on the scrawny side. The redhead shrugged it off and flicked some hair from her face, continuing on her way. She reached the park fifteen minutes later to see her group of friends, all of them with straightened black hair either in braids or pigtails. Emi certainly stood out, the only thing artificial about her hair were the deep red highlights, her natural colour was an orange colour, something that had caused her to be bullied in the first few years of school. Emi never understood why she became so popular once she reached high school, though the sudden end to the insults was welcomed and she didn't question it at all. One of her friends, Asuka, waved and Emi nodded as she dumped her bag on a bench near a tree. "What took you so long?" Asuka asked, her voice distorted somewhat by the large wad of pink gum lodged to one side of her mouth. Emi waved it off and smiled, "Nothing, just one of those losers going to play soccer knocked me over." Keeping up the act was hard, but Emi had learned to ignore the cold guilt that settled in her gut when she insulted someone who wasn't 'popular'. Toji seemed like a nice guy, hopefully her friend?s wouldn't- "What was his name?" "Erk..." the question caught Emi off guard and her startled squeak was less than elegant, "I...er...dunno." Yeah, her speach had fallen apart right there. Another girl stepped forward, this one with short pigtails and large round hazel eyes, she pulled the green sucker form her mouth and gave Emi an odd look, "Not on your game today, are ya, chick?" Emi shook her head and laughed, a small sweat drop forming on the back of her head, "I guess not..." She looked up at the sky, the sun glaring down at her. For some reason she dipped her hand into her bag, pulling out Toji's glasses and putting them on. Another odd look was sent by her friends, "Where did you get those?" "These...er...I found them." Emi felt her cheeks grow warm, praying to anyone who was listening that Toji and his friends didn't come this way.

Lucian perked up; 20th century history was his best subject. Well, late 20th century history. He looked at the page and in dismay, pushed it aside, seeing the date '1965' circled. Then it hit him, "The Beatles!" he shouted, excitement clear in his voice, "We're going to see the bloody Beatles!" Eleanor blinked and looked at Lucian who had a rather sizeable grin on his face at this point. Julia smiled and leant back in her chair, hands clasped behind her head. "Sweet." Riggs rolled his eyes and managed to hit Lucian with a rolled up paper ball, quieting the man down. "Please...let me explain." Lucian grumbled and rubbed his forehead, slouching back down at his desk. His parents had always talked about the Beatles and how amazing they were, now he would finally be able to meet them. He couldn?t' help but smile. OOC Short, but it saves me from death by a Blue Meanie. *coughs*
