I?ve decided to move this on because Eikou and ULX obviously don't realise that they need to post again, or they just don't know what to write. Interlinking Chapters: ?Tired Discussions Characters: Jake and Ethan The two Agents linger at the bar after Kana has left and discuss issues. They are informed that they will be on patrol the next day and must keep a close eye on the edge of Lower J19-02 as there has been word of a race being held out in the desert. Ethan leaves before Jake who stays back to find out any more about the gangs, as he is leaving he bumps into a man with a tattoo, one he recognises as a Shadow Spider. He cannot act as he is un-armed, but he reports back to the station. ?Racer Boys Characters: Matt and Velouria Velouria is still fuming over Kiri?s previous comment on her feelings for Matt, she thinks things over in her apartment with a strong drink when Matt knocks at her door, baring a letter from the Shadow Spiders. It hints that there has been an infiltration by the STU and that all gangs should be on highest alert. Velouria immediately suspects Kiri, but Matt refuses to believe her for reasons unknown. The letter has also issued a challenge to Matt as the Lightning Panther's top man; he is to meet with the Shadow Spiders on the outskirts of L. J19-02 to race in the desert. Velouria believes that it will turn into something more. I'm scrubbing the chapter lengths, it was a stupid idea ^_^;; I realise that these chapters are more in depth, so just post as many as you need to get the main objective filled.

No doubt this sign up will have to be approved, if it isn?t what you need, then I?ll edit. Pilot Name: Imogen Nesbitt Callsign: Omerta Rank: Technician/Mechanic ID Number: 5-449 Appearance: Omerta Personality: Omerta lives by her name and tends to keep the silence. She is known for having respect for anyone in a position above her or even other technician?s who, because of their family or otherwise, have reached a higher position of respect than her. She is very sweet and always has a calm look on her face, especially when she is faced with some tough repairs. Omerta wishes that she could fight but has been assured by those above that she is needed in the workshop rather than the battlefield. She is one of the best Mech technician?s around but will never admit it, she?s one of those people that always beats down a compliment. History: Omerta was never an ?outdoor? child. She always enjoyed staying inside and sitting on her computer, even in summer. Because of this her skin is very pale and she often has a sick look about her, adults used to dote over her when she was young. At the age of 16 she left home and went to one of the top boarding schools, learning everything she could about mechanics and IT. She became one of her professors top students and won numerous awards. At that time she was a very lively child, she went out with friends, got drunk and even tried some drugs once at a party, that was what messed her up for good. Whilst she was on a high, Omerta ran into an old friend, a boyfriend and ended up staying the night with him. She woke the next morning with a throbbing headache in his living room, finding that she had been raped. He was no where to be seen and left a note by her side that said; ?My girlfriend called this morning, nice knowing you.? To add insult to injury, Omerta found that she was pregnant. Against her mother and father?s wishes, she had an abortion and never spoke of it again. In fact, she didn?t speak for 2 whole years, that is until she found her joy in working with Mecha. She still stays quiet and keeps to herself, but for the last 3 years Omerta has been working on a Mech of her own and, seeing as she is not permitted to fight, eventually plans to race it. Guardian may not be the most powerful of machines, but it?s one of the fastest and that?s all it?s creator cares about. Now she just works quietly, not bothering to make any friends and doing her job. Her supervisors and teammates admire her dedication, but they do not realise why she is so quiet. The only people who know about her past are her parents who she has not spoken to in the last year. Omerta has a certain fear and resentment for men and is haunted by her memories of that one night. Note- Omerta works with the Crimson Shield Mecha mostly and has grown quite attached to the machines, she takes extra time and care when repairing them. Mecha Name: AJ-04 Guardian Strength: 60 Agility: 200 Energy: 70,000PS Durability: 5,500AP Armaments: Seeing as Guardian is not a Mech built for fighting and more for speed, it?s weapons are not the most powerful. Beam Slayer- The Guardian?s primary weapon, an energy sword that does a little more damage than the custom beam swords. It can cut through above average armour but will do little to no damage to high armoured Mechs. Crimson Laser- A simple laser gun that shoots one thin beam, able to cut through most armour levels. Its accuracy is quite incredible, even if the pilot is not up to par. And I have no gems, that's what I get for not posting enough -.- *predicts a thrashing* ---- Sumiyaka closed her eyes and leant her head back against the soft goose down pillow. She sighed as she felt the winds whip around the ship, smiling at the raw power they held but did not unleash upon those with a pure enough soul. The vampiress silently wished that Kuroichi's ship were being battered by the storm; maybe he had even been thrown over board. She shook her head, knowing that he was far to powerful to be beaten down by the elements, she laughed at how pathetic that sounded, a mere monster was more powerful than the earth and sky itself. Pathetic. Of course, it was that thought that brought Sumiyaka crashing back down to harsh reality. She was travelling from Britain to Australia in the hopes of finding Kuroichi and at least weakening him enough so that her old clan and its allies could finish him. She always regretting leaving without even saying goodbye to Kyu, he was a wonderful friend, someone she missed everyday. But that was not the thing to dwell on, no, there was training to be done and Sumiyaka knew well that Kuroichi would kill her easily if she didn't keep up her regimental hours training in the harsh sea weather. She stepped outside and smiled as the wind seemed to slow and caress her skin, the rain battering everywhere around her, never once hitting her with it's almighty force. Sumiyaka.....Breeze of the Vampires... The voice was like a sigh, a happy albeit lazy voice that called out to the woman on deck, calling her to the front of the ship. Her smiled broadened as she extended her arms, feeling the wind encircle them and her body in turn, her power growing with it. Her training had been successful, she may not have power over all of the elements like Kuroichi had, but the wind was her ally and it would grant her power when the time came. A small blue orb appeared in her slender hands, absorbing the air and rain around. The woman smiled softly and released it, watching as it spiralled into the air only to explode in a flash of light. Her symbol, a simple 'S' and a crucifix, anyone who saw it would know she was there. "Let that be a sign of your fate, Kuroichi..."

Kiri groaned as she finished climbing the last set of stairs leading to her apartment. Usually she would have been in a Hover car all day, not on the dance floor of a club being eyed up by some less than savoury characters most probably packing some form of illegal weapon. She sighed and reached for her door, realising that it was unlocked and that the light was on, her first thought was not one of alarm but of embarrassment, "Shit...I didn?t put my underwear away!" The blond bolted for her door and grabbed her gun, slamming it shut behind her as she walked in. She looked down at her DVD collection, pleased to see that it had not been...wait...there was a crack in one of the boxes. The young woman twitched as she picked up the precious DVD, cradling it protectively. "That's it..." She walked to her bedroom, following the path that had been cleared through the piles of clothes and various other junk items. She opened the door to be welcomed by none other than Kana, dripping all over her bed. "K...Kana?!" The man looked up and rolled his eyes, "Don't flatter yourself, gutter-brained-yaoi-loving..." he trailed off in disgust, probably due to the silly grin that immediately formed on Kiri's face at the mention of 'yaoi'. "Seriously, sir, what are you doing here?" "I'm your body-guard." "My body guard?" "Don't make me repeat myself, Conner." "Yessir...but you've made my bed wet." Kana twitched. Kiri laughed and her superior could do nothing but give in, raising his hands to the air as he reached for his bag that carried only a few essentials. He looked up to give Kiri a warning glare but found no one there. He blinked, "She doesn't usually disappear when I want her to..." It was to Kana?s dismay that he again caught site of Kiri, in the reflection of her bathroom mirror...getting changed. He shut the door very quickly. ---- Continue this chapter until we reach 8 posts, I?ll be finishing it off.

He has left D.C. in charge, asking her to keep control of any situations that may arise. Rom has been given a tip off form an ally gang, Crimson Viper, that there is an undercover agent from the STU infiltrating the Lightning Panthers. D.C. takes matters into her own hands and decides to research the situation. ?Anger Characters: Kiri and Kana Kiri has finished up with the Lightning Panthers for the day and has been instructed to take the back streets to reach her apartment, keeping it slow. She doesn't realise that Kana has been given the order to be her body guard and that he must make sure she isn't followed. His superiors have instructed him to stay with Kiri for two days in case any gangs catch on. He arrives at her apartment before she does and makes himself at home, less than happy about the situation. Chapter Length: Max 8 posts spread over both sections.

That's very touching, hon, I do hope this isn't a true reflection on your feelings at the moment?
But it?s not as easy as that, for as long as I can remember I?ve known her face, I?ve heard her voice, I?ve died a little each time she hugged someone else, I?ve noticed the little things that make her perfect and the one thing that makes her a cut above the rest.
That has to be the best part, in my opinion. The way you haven't tried to be poetic or use similes and metaphors. Just plain and simple fact, I think the emotion is conveyed far better this way and it's certainly much stronger. I really do like this piece and I think you wrote it wonderfully, but like I say, the situation that made you write it may not be the best at this point in time. Let's see something happy coupled with this, shall we?

I'm signing up, but I needed to ask you something.... but since you're not online, I can't. *grumble* Name: Sumiyaka (Formerly Elizabeth Archer) Nickname: Breeze Age: 1700 Gender: Female Species: Vampire Clan: Neutral Appearance: Sumiyaka Weapons: Whereas Sumiyaka used to be one of the more passive Vampires, no fan of blood shed and unnecessary violence; she has changed considerably since her first meeting with Kuroichi. She now uses a simple shinai, which she wields with great skill. She also uses a knife which she keeps hidden in her top, it's light and can be thrown easily. Powers: Sumiyaka is very skilled in manipulating her Chi energy. She has mastered basic techniques like Barrier and a simple blow, but apart from those two she also has another powerful attack. After reciting an incantation, Sumiyaka is able to launch a powerful 'Death Blow' that can knock most foes to the ground, Depending on how well trained and how powerful her opponent is obviously determines the damage, though even the likes of Kuroichi would feel a sting form this attack. Sumiyaka has now fully mastered the art of Shadow Manipulation. Her puppets are powerful and can block basic attacks and ever weapons. She usually uses them when she is backed into a corner and has no other choice. Afterwards, Sumiyaka is drained and needs to regain her strength by feeding, something she still regrets. Personality: Sumiyaka is a recluse, plain and simple. She takes no pleasure in others pain and regrets that the only way she can survive is to feed on others blood. When she can, she will find a hospital and break into their stores, feeding on the medical supplies instead, it's something that other vampires have scolded her for. She is, however, a fighter and refuses to give up even when she's in the most dire of situations. She's also grown to be quite arrogant, refusing help form others when she needs it most. Bio: Back when Sumiyaka with the Gwyar clan, she was a follower...a puppet that the elders manipulated. She was powerful but had no will and that was what pulled her right down below her friends. Now, Sumiyaka has left her clan and one of her best friends behind, she refuses to even acknowledge her old name and is known only as Breeze, or Sumiyaka. She gained this nickname from her travels in Japan when a woman who 'disappeared like the wind' was reported to be seen in a hospital, feeding on cold blood stores. She now resides in China and is constantly gathering news of Kuroichi, a man she fears, respects and ultimately, hates. She still considers him an enemy even though she no longer classes herself as a clan vampire. If she gets the chance, Sumiyaka will fight Kuroichi to the death. Other: Sumiyaka is rather paranoid; any mention of her old clan members sets her off. She is also known to love children; she will risk her life if one is in danger. ---- Roar.

-Elderly person having trouble crossing a busy street. I'd definitely help them, if they wanted it, that is. I know quite a few older people who would want to work through these things by themselves, to make them feel as if they still can. I wouldn't want to force help upon someone. -Person shoplifting. Depends on what shop. Busy Supermarket: If no one in charge saw it's there problem, they should be expecting shoplifters and should be more aware of the people in their shop, it would teach them a lesson. A smaller shop e.g. my local anime/manga store: Since not as many people would be around and it would be far simpler to steal form a shop like this, I'd simply thump the offender. No joke, if I could, I would, then I'd hand him/her over to the storeowner. -Smoke coming from the upper windows of an apartment building. If I were feeling particularly stupid then I'd go running in to see if anyone was trapped. Though, most of the time I'm sensible and I'd call the fire department, like many other people would be doing at the same time. -Drunk fumbling to get his car keys into the door of his car. I'd stay as far away as possible. A drunk not being able to get into his car and undoubtedly getting rather angry? No thanks; an angry drunk is a bad drunk. His fault for getting like that anyway. I have a couple of situations I'd like to put to you all; -An older person trying to reach something on the top shelf in a store. -A woman/girl being harassed by a man who seems to be her boyfriend.

Nice idea, Panda, makes me realise that these type things aren't just on TV. -Lone toddler crying in a shopping mall. First I'd probably make sure if it was really alone or if it's parents were just out of sight. If I was with friends I seriously doubt I'd do anything about it, maybe go find a policeman/woman or a shop attendant and warn them about it. Though, to be perfectly honest, I'd probably keep on walking, the parents should be there. -First person at the scene of a car accident. Well, at this age I wouldn't be able to do much, not realistically. Ideally I would do all I could to help them, if it was safe for me as well, that is. Though the most I could do at this age would be to call the police or an ambulance, or at least check to see if the people were stable and offer support. -Person drowning. If it were a busy beach I would get a lifeguard or someone who looked like a strong swimmer. If it was pretty deserted then I'd go in myself, South Africa at least taught me how to save a drowning person so I would be able to get them to shore, though I seriously doubt I'd be able to give them SPR. I'd call and ambulance ASAP. -Obviously upset person running down the street. Let them pass, unless they hit me in the process. I'd probably yell at them if they done that...yeah, I may be insensitive in that aspect, but it's not my life and asking a stranger what's wrong wouldn't help as there's a good chance they wouldn't tell me anyway. -Injured animal. Depends on how injured, where and what animal, really, I'm not sure how to comment on this. Well, that's me, I guess at this age I can't put myself in these situations so well, so sorry if my replies seem less than substantial.

Oh man, I'm still giggling. That was brilliant, I didn?t realise that you were capable of such humour, my dear.
"You were staring at my ass, weren't you," Xai said, grinning. "Wha...!? I...I never...I..." Carnag sputtered. Red flushed to his face at the inferrence. "I was NOT staring at your ass, you impetuous fool!" "Fine," Xai conceded. "I'm glad you..." "My crotch, then." Carnag was struck dumb, stopping in mid-sentence to stare at Xai open-mouthed. His mouth opened and closed a few times, but he was unable to speak. "I mean, not that I should be surprised, or anything," Xai said, smiling like a madman. "I am sexy enough for both genders."
That sounds like one of our conversations! >.> And I'm getting the impression that Xai is based on you, therefore Xai is a jackass and Kain is my favourite character and deserves to get the hot pond woman ^_~

OOC Thanks, Sonata, I didn't mean to sound so formal in the PM. Kiri wasn't really paying attention as she was guided around the backrooms of the club. She knew that what she was being shown was merely showy stuff that newbies saw to get them used to the 'feel' of the Lightening Panthers...her thoughts slipped to Matt...That would be something she'd like to feel.... Kiri choked and spluttered at her own thoughts and leant on a table, trying to calm herself down. "What the hell?" she blurted out, getting a strange look from Vel-- no, Firefly. "Are you okay?" "Yes...just...dust, I think." Kiri barely managed to save herself and received a shrug in response, a sharp tug on her elbow signalling for her to continue on. "Listen, Firefly...." the red head ahead stopped and turned, nodding for Kiri to continue, "I'm not too interested in this tour, no offence, I just want to know when you're going to test me." "Well, you'll have to speak to Matt about that, he recruits all the new drivers." "Uh huh...you don't like me, do you?" Firefly chose not to reply and turned completely, walking past Kiri while not making eye contact, "I don't like up-start racers who think they can barge in here, flashing themselves to Matt," she seemed to pause at his name, "and expect to get instant access." Kiri laughed and looked up, walking closer to Firefly, "Do you love him, Velouria?" ---- Chapter 2: Agents Characters: Ethan, Kana, and Jake (NPC for agents 5 and 2) The five agents meet up after work at a local bar out of their usual area. After the bar tender switches the TV to the news, they catch site of a racing accident in another part of town. Their thoughts shift to work, their past and Kiri, wondering how the mission is going. They discuss current events. Mainly character building. Chapter Length: 3 posts, I will post after the last just to get the next Chapter Started.

The sun, no matter how vital it was, could be a troublesome thing. The large white orb was slowly gaining height in the crystal Gaia skies and I could tell that travelling on open plains had been a bad decision on my part. I pulled my right glove off, lifting a fingertip to my lips, running it across the once soft skin. I sighed deeply, closing my eyes against the harsh glare from the sun. "What I would give for some fresh water." Yes, I had been horribly unprepared for this journey, and now I had been reduced to talking to myself. What a way to go. I couldn't help but laugh, always being told that I had a sense of humour but never accepting it, not until now, that is. I remembered my mother, a frown creeping across my lips. Shaking the thought from my head I cast my eyes to the ground and pulled my glove back on, adjusting it correctly before flexing my fingers and continuing on, each step forward bring more dread to my heart. A flash of a memory crossed my mind, blood; crimson rivulets of blood flowing through cloth, my mother's face and hair caked in the foul substance. My legs went weak and despite my efforts, failed me. I collapsed painfully, bracing myself with my hands, another mistake. I heard a snap and winced in pain, my wrist throbbing painfully. The sun dipped behind clouds and I was cast into shadow, Strange... My current state of pain pulled me from my worried musing and I sat myself straight, testing my wrist. Yes, it was definitely broken. "You're gaining weight, Mezcheth." I scolded myself, scanning the area around me for any hint of an immediate threat. Not detecting anything, I pulled my glove off once again and rolled up my sleeve, exposing the injured, now swelling, wrist. Lords of Gaia, grant me power, here my prayer in this needful hour. My hand glowed softly, a pink hue forming around my fingertips as I placed them on my wrist, a warm feeling instantly washing through the bone, healing it within seconds. I smiled brightly and flicked my wrist a couple of times, and pleased with the final result, rose form my position. Almost instantly I felt that cold feeling of foreboding in my chest. I gasped slightly and turned to see what could only be a Draconian, large and intimidating, a weapon held firmly in her strong grip. I bowed my head, making sure to let her see my cross, a sign of my title of Priest. She nodded and drew in closer, tapping the hilt of her sword on my arm. I straightened my back and smiled hopefully at her, "What may a humble Priest do for a warrior such as yourself, my dear?" She snorted and looked to the sky, the sun once again breaking free of the grey clouds, "It's not for me, young Priest, I have come to take you to Memoria. You are one of the...Innocence." I opened my mouth to tell her that we were in Memoria, but she silenced me with a meaningful look, "And before you open your smart mouth," I shut it quickly in fear of loosing my tongue, "It is a place that you will not have gained access to otherwise...I doubt you even know where it is." I pouted, always having considered myself a rather worldly man, but again, I took heed form her stare and remained silent, only shrugging my shoulders as a response. The female Draconian bent down and picked up my axe, which I had foolishly dropped in surprise when I saw her. She handed it to me, blade first and I nodded in relief, tapping the staff of my weapon on my shoulder. "Well, I suppose I don't have much choice?" I laughed; she didn't think I was funny apparently, "No. No, you don't." "I thought not..."

Special Tactics Unit; Agent 4, You have been selected form your Unit to take part in an undercover assignment where you will infiltrate one of the Illegal Racing groups that are know to host mass Drag Racing Tournaments. We expect that you will succeed in this task as you are not known by the suspects and considering your background, you will fit in well. Start in two days. Force C Commander Shijinko. **** Morning broke on a dew soaked lawn outside Lower J19-02's police department. Agent 4, Kiri Conner, groaned as she shielded her eyes form the sun breaking through her blinds, turning over on her side to catch up on much needed sleep. A sharp rapping at her door forbade her from doing so, however, and she groggily dragged herself form bed, unlocking and opening the door. None other than Commander Shijinko was standing at the other side and there was Kiri, in all her glory, save for a pair of white panties, facing him while rubbing her sleep-encrusted eyes. It was the gleam form the badge that caught her eyes and woke her up, encouraging her to respond, "Fuck..." **** Half an hour later, after a cold shower and a bumpy ride. Kiri was dropped off at the known entrance to one of the Lighting Panthers 14 hour clubs, an ongoing blast of drugs, sex and loud music. Kiri was certainly dreading this, especially since she had to 'fit in'. Fitting in meant dressing in skimpy clothes and dying her hair, something she didn't want to do. But, she would take it, the pay check was an incentive. After entering the building, Kiri was greeted by a large black man in a suit, he inclined his head and handed her a pass. Checked her bag and, to Kiri's surprise, complimented her on her weapon then granted her passage to the main room of the club. She scanned the room for her first target, Matt Long, front man of the Lightning Panthers and one of the drivers known for causing the most race-related deaths, how he was still on the street was a mystery to Kiri. She spotted a man with his description and walked over to him...bracing herself for the very worst. **** Eikou-Zaru. Li. Choa's-D.c. Legacy-Matt R. I'm going to get this up within half an hour, I'm closing sign ups now and I'd like to say well done to most of you. Unfortunately, Sword Breaker, your sign up was seriously lacking in the right details and you could have at least made sure that you spelt 'Thailand' correctly. You are not accepted. Everyone else, congratulations, look out for this in the Square.

Reise, you are now officially my target until I find out that username or someone better to pick on ^_~ Considering I've only just turned 15 this month, I've had a few failed relationships, which have taught me some good and some not so good things about how to handle people in general. I know this thread is supposed to be a happy one, but none of my relationships have been bad, so to speak. First one was with Joe, who I'd known since year 7 of school. We got on okay, but he never seemed the talkative type, at least not with me. I found myself developing a crush on him, even though my friends thought it was silly because he 'obviously doesn't like you back'. So I thought, whatever, I'll survive and get over him within a month. It was the day before we went on a school camp that my friend Will blurted out that Joe had liked me for almost a year and I was ecstatic, let me tell you. I kept telling him not be embarrassed because I liked him too, but he just...well...ignored me ^_^;; The next day Will told me that Joe wanted to go out, I agreed, and we ended up being in a rather pointless relationship for a year. What a waste. Guess what, we never kissed once it that whole time! Next followed a couple of online relationships, first one being with ULX. Great guy, he really is, I still have a soft spot for him, actually. Anyways, we met through Muse's RP (She was DaisukeAngel, back then) and our characters hated each other. Eventually we got to PMing each other and I asked for his MSN address, we got talking and hit it off right away. After a while though he didn't come online and we fell out of contact, it's a shame, really. Next was Reise, who's a fantastic person, though I don't think we were compatible for dating. Then came Tash who I'm not even going to speak about and last is... Legacy! The ultimate love of my life, no joke. Prepare for a long retelling of how we met... It was an RP I started about 5 months ago, called 'Only You'. It was based around the Shounen-ai theme and I was playing one of the boys who way gay, (omg!) his name was Imric. The basic idea was that Imric was betrothed but he was gay and didn't want to marry a girl, so he ran off. I never thought that his betrothed would need to be played by someone, but one morning I got a PM from Legacy asking permission to play her, my instant reaction? 'This chick is so damn cool'. Yeah, so my first impression of Legacy was that he was one of those depressive, coffee drinking, poetic/artistic chicks who enjoyed hard romance rather than the sweet stuff. He was the one who first came to me asking for my AIM address, so we started chatting. I still thought he was a girl after about 2 days, but then once we got to know each other he said, 'If you had black hair, you'd be a female version of me'. I swear, my face was priceless. I kind of froze, staring the screen for a while with my mouth open. Heh, I swear, I really did think he was a girl ^_^;; After a while he told me he liked me and we got together, then he found someone else and told me that it would be better to have a relationship with someone he was physically with (seeing as we are 5000 miles apart) and I agreed, in fact, I encouraged the idea. I had been thinking to myself for about a week that it was a strange relationship and things were getting...weird XD So when he told me that he thought it would be good to break it of I was thinking 'Yes! Now I don't have to say anything.' Aren't I a nice person? ^^;; After a few weeks I realised how dumb I'd been and realised that I liked him more when we were apart than when we were in a relationship. I think it was in English one day when I had finished talking about him and Natalie, my best friend, looked at me and smiled and said 'Do you love John?' I swear, I thought the idea was absurd and started laughing, telling her that I was, and I quote, "Down to earth and mature, I would never let myself fall in 'love' with someone who I'd never met, the idea is totally ridiculous." (I got very pompous when I'm being defensive.) When I got home and I chatted with John for a while I admitted that Natalie was right, told him and luckily for me his girlfriend had broken up with him that day, hurrah! Yeah, so that's how we got together, I think we've been together for about 3 months now. Although we've had our ups and downs, we're pretty determined to make this thing work. We talk on the phone less than occasionally but I've been working on my parents to let me go and see him during the summer. Annie, you and I have got a lot in common ^_~ Just noticed, this post is almost two pages long in MS Word, holy crap!

Most of my nicknames haven't really stuck, except for maybe three, but heck, I've had loads through the...erm...ages O_o; Jay: The most obvious nickname, really (my name being Jamie), but not my first. Most people in Liverpool call me Jay because they are too lazy to say my whole name and most things sound better if they end in a 'y' sound, anyway...well, in their opinion. James/Jim/Jimmy: Because I was a tomboy. Plain and simple. Everyone used this in South Africa (sounds great with an Afrikaans accent!) most boys called me Jim and the girls called me James. Jay Jay: A cute nickname that my friend Melissa gave me. Not one of my favourites, however. Sanzo-sama: (Panda will be proud) When I got my hair cut short, I looked like Sanzo. My eyes may not be purple, but they're kind of sad, like Sanzo's. Plus, when I went to Turkey, I found myself a toy Smith and Wesson M10 (Sanzo's weapon) So, I made myself a paper fan, wielded it with skill, and frightened my friends with a very realistic toy gun, hence the name. Lullaby: Legacy's nickname for me, probably my favourite nickname of all. Imi: Bet you all didn't see this one coming! Long story short, my art teacher is dyslexic (which I can't spell right without referring to a dictionary, how ironic) and when I told him I wanted a character in my Manga to be called Imogen, with her nickname being 'Immy', as it was at the time, he wrote down 'Imi' for simplicity. Meth/Methy: People online are too lazy to spell my username properly ^_~ I think that's all, besides any rude names that people may call me.

Agent Sign Up: Real Name: Kiri Conner Code Name: Agent 4 (A4) Gender: Female Weapon of Choice: A simple hand held electro shocker. It's in the shape of a gun and shoots a jet of gel, which can be (if desired) charged with electricity by turning up the speed. The friction of the gel rubbing against the edge of the barrel charges it with static, causing a minor shock. The gel is very useful for healing burns but is so cool that it can destroy certain parts of the Hover Car engines. Kiri has taken out a couple of Hover cars with this very gun. It does come in a much larger size. Appearance: *attachment* Kiri in casual clothes, holding her electro shocker. Personality: Kiri is, in most situations, very calm and in control of her temper. It's when people like A1 get under her skin that she blows a gasket, and when she does, it's advisable to be as far away form her as possible. She has already been put in confinement for 3 days for breaking Agent 2's nose, who at the time was insulting her marksmanship skills saying that only a woman could miss a target 200 feet away. Kiri has no time for chauvinists, especially the arrogant kind, hence the reason why she has an extreme dislike for A1. Why are you here? Kiri's father was a Detective who was fired when he tried to enforce his opinions too strongly during one mission. He made the grave mistake of threatening a fellow officer with his gun, not actually intending to use it but the gesture was enough. Kiri seems to have got her temper from her father, while her mother is extremely passive and loving. Even though her father had been removed form the Police, he sill wanted to crack down on Drag Racing and he created the at the time, underground unit known as the Special Tactics Squad (later renamed Special Tactics Unit). The police appreciated that the squad was doing brilliantly at their task and made them an official part of the force. Kiri, after celebrating her 18th birthday was handed her father's old electro shocker gun, with a note telling her to continue on with his dream of stopping drag racing dead. When Kiri asked why her father did not hand it to her in person, she was told, quite bluntly, that he had been killed during crossfire between the Lightening Panthers and Shadow Spider. It was then that she realised she should train, rise in the ranks, and kill the leader of the Lightening Panthers. Great sign ups so far, not too many problems, I'll leave this open 'till about Wednesday.

Name: Methuselah Age: 50 Appearance: *attachments, female first* Personality: Methuselah has a split personality, of sorts. She can very easily switch between hyperactive and tricky to sad and depressive, most of the time it is the latter (unless Legacy is around). Her real body is that of a female, but she has the ability to switch between genders easily for convenience when RPying, she?s become quite well known for switching suddenly during the most...inappropriate situations. When she's serious, Methuselah isn't an approachable person, she will keep to herself, maybe lock herself in her room. The angrier she is at someone, the more destructive she gets, and it isn't a good idea to be on the wrong end of her spells. When happy, Methy is helpful and humorous, doing her best to lift other people's spirits. She does however have a very bad habit of getting too friendly with some of the male members. Biography: When Methuselah first arrived she was scared, confused, and very quiet, only making about one post in her first month. She was known by the name of Imi, which, incidentally, has stuck to be her official nickname, with many of her friends and associates referring to her with that name. After a few months, when everyone knew 'Imi', Methuselah decided that a name change was in order and settled for what she considered an appropriate name, considering her fascination with religion and her passion to become the OtakuBoards own Priest of Magic. She changed her name to Crucifix and it was during this time that she acted like a boy, convincing people she had not met before that she was indeed male. Only after a few months of becoming known as Crucifix the Mage, Methuselah discovered the manga 'Immortal Rain'. It was there that she found the name ?Methuselah? used along with a bishounen...then it struck. That would be her final name...the one that people would grow to respect and fear! She yelled and whooped in the manga shop before running off to Charles to get her name changed (who actually took about a week to do so, poor guy). She was ecstatic and it seemed to go uphill from there. Methuselah met Members like Jokopoko and Kane, who she had admired for a long time, and grew to be very good friends with both of them. She also met Dragon Warrior, an experience that she never wants to go through again. Now settled into a happy Otaku Marriage with Legacy, Methuselah has stopped RPying so frequently and prefers to just read what members have to say, occasionally adding her opinion. She likes being with her friends, but also enjoys meeting older members that she can learn from and aspire to. Right now she has no real mission in life, just to try and be happy and stick with friends, helping them through whatever troubles they may have. Boo...you're a jerk and you know why!

Over-Drive Broken bottles and empty fast food packets littered the empty streets of Lower J19-02, a rundown city on the outer edge of Ohmegah 7, World Capitol. Now the City is inhabited by drunks, whores and bankrupt business men looking for a quick lay with no strings attached. That?s how Special Tactics Unit; Agent 4, known as Kiri to her friends, saw it anyway. She looked out of the Hover?s window, ignoring the footage being played on the monitor in front of her, relayed to the STU via one of the many Air Bots patrolling the City streets. Tonight, her shift was tough; A4 was partnered with her worst nightmare, Agent 1, best of the best and leader of the STU. He considered A4 to not only be a lesser Agent because of her lower ranking, but for the sheer fact that she was a woman, and a determined one at that. He turned his head to face her, setting the Hover on auto, a smirk plastered across his pretty face, ?Daydreaming, girl?? A4 blanched, whirling in her seat to stare at A1, levelling him with a cold stare, ?I told you not to call me that.? ?Would you prefer woman, then?? ??Go to hell.? A1 laughed and checked his wrist mounted monitor, seeing no activity from the streets below. He checked the digital clock displayed on his control panel and popped his neck, turning once more to his now fuming partner. ?Nearly the end of our shift, wanna make my night worthwhile?? He smirked again, reaching out to touch the young woman?s chin, before she promptly slapped it away, trying to keep her cool. She knew he didn?t want her in any way, but she had already lashed out at a fellow Agent and now she was on her final warning. A1 laughed and stopped the Hover once they reached the station which coupled up as housing for the Agents on the night shift. He took his security card and logged out of the system before walking to his room?s door, pressing his thumb into a needle to draw a drop of blood for security reasons. His DNA was verified and he was granted access to his room, leaving A4 in the entrance hall. She sighed as she went through the same process, entering her room and stripping herself of her uniform. It was only when she turned on the light that she noticed a white envelope on her bed. She ripped the seal and pulled out the contents, lighting a cigarette as she did so. The message enclosed was a breath of fresh air; Special Tactics Unit; Agent 4, You have been selected form your Unit to take part in an undercover assignment where you will infiltrate one of the Illegal Racing groups that are know to host mass Drag Racing Tournaments. We expect that you will succeed in this task as you are not known by the suspects and considering your background, you will fit in well. Start in two days. Force C Commander Shijinko. ---- This RP is set in the year 3000 (or there about) so all the cars are hovering, they are so much faster than cars we have today and therefore underground racing (though still illegal) is extremely popular. Since the cars hover, there brakes are not as good and only really experienced drivers can use them at their maximum speed and most racers make there Hovers even faster, increasing the danger. A lot of people die through drag racing and the punishment for being in one if life imprisonment. Being involved in a crash where someone is killed is the death penalty or solitary confinement depending on the circumstances. You can go pretty crazy on the cars, just don?t make them able to win all races hands down. Every machine has a fatal flaw, you must include one. Now I need an Agent 1, but he?s reserved for ULX. I don?t need any other people from Special Tactics, but feel free to sign up as them. There are 6 members in total. I do, however, need some racers who are involved in the group (they will be called the Lightning Panthers) that Kiri (me) is infiltrating. I have someone in mind who?s going to be ?one of the best?, but I?m not sure if he?s too busy. If you want to get your vehicle specs checked first, then just PM them to me and I?ll see if they are okay. Like I said, you can really go crazy on this one. I may need one of two people from the main rival gang, they will be known as Shadow Spider. If you don?t want to be a part of either, you don?t even have to be a racer, just say which gang you are involved with ie. Make one up yourself. Agent Sign Up: Real Name: Code Name: Agent 1-6 (excluding 4) Gender: There is only one female, and that?s Kiri Weapon of Choice: No bazooka?s, people, keep it to things that can be hand held. Feel free to make up new weapons, but make it realistic and NOT invincible. Appearance: Personality: Mainly how the person is around other agents, around Kiri and what their views on Drag Racing are. Why are you here? This replaces the Bio, why did they join the Special Tactics Unit Note: Specials Tactics deals mainly with Drag Racing and Murder involving the Drag Racing gangs. Racer Sign Up: Name: Nickname: If you have one Age: Appearance: Car Name: If you want one Car Description: Written, please. I?d like you to include all aspects, weakness and strength. Speed: Max is 400 MPH Defence: Max is 200 armour defence (AD) Driver Skill: Again, weakness? and strengths, what terrain are you best at, what weather? Not all the races are based in the city. Gang Name: Personality: Bio/ Extra Notes: This isn?t too necessary, just fill out some things if you feel people should know them. Like how many races you?ve been in and positions you hold. I don?t want ANYONE to say that they always come first. Any questions go to my inbox, if you feel it necessary for me to give a broader description of the City and surrounding Race Grounds, then just say and I?ll do my best.

I love the way you done this! No hidden messages, no inside jokes, just one clear message to ward off n00bs, wonderful. I must say, that n00b design is wonderful, I really wanna pull that tooth out...but that would involve touching him...which is a bad thing, me thinks. I like the way you used the Star Wars text for the message at the bottom, it's probably a really obvious thing, but it adds a touch more...reality to it. Very nice job overall, you should do a series.

The OtakuBoards Nifty Fifty: Nominations (2004)
Ezekiel replied to Shy's topic in General Discussion
What is it? Arcadia [Member] Why was it nifty? From only having a few posts before becoming a moderator, then to move onto Team Leader is an amazing achievement. She heads Team Hanzo wonderfully and always pulls New Members up politely, making sure that they are directed as to what they should be doing. She's also very friendly and an amazing writer and Role Player. What is it? Otaku Hollow [OB Anthology] Why was it nifty? A highly entertaining piece by Dragon Warrior, a joy to read with a lot of 'laugh out loud' moments in it, for me anyway. I've always loved Dragon Warriors contributions, but I think this has to be one of his best ever. The way he described and used the members was very clever, and all of his jokes were placed nicely, with just the right amount of silliness ^_~ What is it? Anime Stereotype High School [RPG] Why was it nifty? I had such fun posting in this, in fact, I may just revive it when I have the time. A good collection of members where in this RP which meant that all posts where some of the best quality that you could find. I considered myself privileged to be in that Role-play along side the likes of terra, Arcadia, Solo and Shinmaru, all very good and entertaining writers. What is it? Legacy [Member] Why was it nifty? I don't care if people call me biased with this one, but Legacy really is a great member and even though he doesn't post much any more, what he does contribute is always well written and well thought out. He's started posting in the Otaku Lounge again and his posts are always sensible and go along with the thread. When he posts in RPGs he really makes an excellent read, his characters are always interesting. He's also a wonderful person and a fantastic friend. What is it? Reise [Member] Why was it nifty? I remember his first post as it was in one of my RPGs and boy, Reise certainly needed to practice his writing. But now I look at his writing and it's quite incredible, he may not be the best writer on the OB but he?s up there at the top, certainly. I think he's one of the best examples from bad new member to excellent writer. Again, he's also a wonderful person, very funny and very entertaining. What is it? Unborn Lord Xion (and his return) [Member] Why was it nifty? After a really long absence on both the boards and MSN I was worried that ULX had gone for good. I talked to him for a month or two before he disappeared and I really missed him when he was gone. About three months ago he came back to the boards and I was grinning when I saw his name on the 'Who's Online' list. We've been talking for a long time and he really is one of my best friends, I've learnt from him and he always makes me feel happy to be me, and that's the truth. We get on well and he?s an amazing friend and quite and exceptional writer, he really deserves more recognition in this place. -
Well, it depends on what time you get on. I'm here most of the time, but I AM in England and you're in America. *adds you to my buddy list* I really want to take part in this, I just hope the time zones don't mess with it. I'm very much looking forward to what kind of questions I'll be asked, it should most definitely be interesting ^_~

Name: Alkai Mezcheth Age: 21 Race: White Mage Location: Memoria Weapon/Spells: Weapon- The Icingdeath Axe- A weapon enhanced with the element of ice that has been passed down through the generation of Archen Mages who were keen on the art of White magic and Alchemy. There is a simple jewel approx. 3 inches in diameter at the tip of the axe, just above the blade. It glows white when Alkai uses magic. Spells Prayer- This is a powerful healing spell in which Alkai chants to the Gods, asking them for help. It is strong enough to pull a person back form near death but drains Alkai tremendously. Cannot be used on the likes of disease (eg. Flu or the common cold), can only be used on wounds. Holy Light- Alkai uses this to help him slip away from a battle or as a strong defence. He can summon a great flash of light that ?explodes? from the tip of his axe where the jewel is embedded. The flash only lasts for 2 seconds but is strong enough to temporarily blind an enemy. Devine Protection- A simple shield that can deflect simple weapons, those with magic powers, however, find it easier to break down the shield. This is particularly effective against Black Magic spells, it lasts for approx. 15 minutes depending on the power of the attack/spell directed at it and how tired Alkai is. At best, he can keep the shield up for 30 minutes, but it leaves him critically low on energy. Appearance: Alkai stands at 6' exactly and always tries to make himself look presentable. He has excellent posture and always makes sure that he looks his best for whatever occasion, his excuse is that if he would die, he'd want to die looking good. Alkai always wears his robes, no matter what the weather is. They are long and a light gold colour, reaching down to his ankles. On the front there is a white cross and the hems are white. He wears white gloves and white pants that cover most of his white (getting progressively dirty), suede boots. His eyes are warm and emerald green, eyes that many people say make them trust the young Priest. He always keeps a smile on his face, which lights up his features even more. His hair is black with dashes of silver, Alkai keeps it at shoulder length and usually ties it up in a short ponytail. Alkai usually wears a large silver cross around his neck, it hangs on a long silver chain to his waist and if need be, Alkai can use it as a weapon. Personality: Alkai is very proper and polite and always tries to please people as best he can, even if he doesn't have the time to do so. Coming from a poor background, Alkai has learned how to share and make the most of what one has and he tries to teach this to the people he meets on his travels. The young man would be thought of as level headed and calm, a natural leader who knows how to assess a situation when the time arises. People often turn to Alkai for advice and he was always thought very highly of in his hometown and in his clan despite the fact that he is still very young. Even though the Mage is kind, he tries to keep a poker face most of the time, he thinks it?s best if he doesn't show any extreme emotions, even if he feels it inside. Biography: A township, on the outskirts of the village of Rue, woke early in summer to the sounds of a newborn baby's cries. A mother lay on her bed, chest heaving with the efforts of the previous night, smiling down at a white and red bundle now held in her arms. A man, his eyes bagged from lack of sleep broke down into tears of joy, watching as his son stretched and gurgled, testing out his lungs. It was a happy time for the village as not many women were at child-bearing age any more. It had been a good few years since a child was seen playing in the dusty streets, chasing after the chickens and dogs. Yes, there would have to be a celebration. But, peace must come to an end at sometime and this unfortunate day that had started so perfectly...would end in bloodshed. As the morning wore on and afternoon approached, the new parents bathed their child and dressed him in his new pristine white clothing, crisp and fresh and ready to be worn in. The boy smiled and giggled as his father tickled him lightly, his proud wife sitting by the window and gazing out wistfully to the cornfields. That was when the horror and realisation struck. A large dust cloud was rising in the east, at the far end of the fields. The warning bell was rung as the village set in to panic. They were under attack for the first time in 20 years and no one was prepared for something like this. A horde of robbers entered the village on horseback, burning houses and killing men as they went. Taking the women and children as slaves. The baby cried as his mother cradled him in her still weak arms, sobbing as her husband rushed outside, bellowing for her to flee and save their child. She turned only to see the blood of her beloved splattered across the street. In shock, the woman screamed and fled, running as fast as she could into the forest near the village. She stopped only when her feet could carry her no more, settling under a large tree, resting her child in the shade. He was asleep, peaceful and at ease, smiling lightly. The woman laughed and kissed the child on the forehead, "And you shall be Alkai, your father would be proud, my brave son...." The baby didn't stir and the woman sighed, falling asleep in the shade of the evening sun. 21 years later brings us to the present day in Alkai?s life. He has just finished packing his bags for his next journey to a distant town, hoping to find new knowledge and spells there. Recently, he has been named a true Priest after training for 3 years. He walks into a small room at the back of the church that he runs and spots his mother on the bed, asleep, dreaming of a better land. Her greying hair lies in tassels on the goose down pillow as her son sweeps it to one side. He bends down and whispers that he loves his in her ear and kisses her cheek softly, hoping that she will not wake. After making sure that all is clear, the young Mage leaves, only a small leather bag slung over his shoulder containing all his worldly possessions. He will travel to a distant town, about 4 days on horseback from where he is now in hopes of finding more information on the ancient book of spells. The young man knows precious little about the rest of the world outside his home and yearns to know more, his thirst for knowledge never ending. He adjusts his axe, the one passed down through his clan, and smiles at the horizon. "Yes, today will be a beautiful day for travelling." ****
