I agree with DeathBug in the fact that the time for an abortion to legally take place should be reduced. I believe it is somewhere around 24 weeks in Britain, which in my opinion is far too long. If a mother knows she does not want a baby, she should realise the fact within at least a month. As I say, I support abortion because of women's choice, but there comes a time when it hits its limit. There is a singer, I believe, who has to date had 7 or 8 abortions. That is totally wrong in my opinion, because as Boba Fett mentioned, there is enough birth control available to avoid pregnancy in the first place. I'm glad people here have better opinions than those who I've asked in school. Most just flat out disagree with abortion and believe it should be made illegal with no reasons given, I'm happy to see that members here support their arguments.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Green][SIZE=1]Digimon all the way, I've watched Season 1 four times I believe and season 2 three times. I've also watched Digimon the Movie 15 times to date ^^;; I haven't even bought the DVDs yet, but I'm going to in a few days time. I don't know why I love the Digimon series so much, guess it just reminds me of my very first anime obsession. The Gundam Wing Endless Waltz OAV is another good one, I've watched that about three times I think. Slayers Next is also something I'm working on watching repeatedly, wonderful series, I laugh no matter how many times I see it.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Lately in RE we've been studying Christian views to Love, Sex, Marriage and, ultimately, Abortion. I aware that since I've known what and abortion is, that's about 4 years, and the situations in which women choose to have them, I have been a firm supporter of abortion for women of any age group. I know this topic is a very touchy one and I'm fully aware that some people strongly believe in all life has a right to continue and that killing a foetus is effectively killing another human being. I was watching a program on abortion and people?s views on it and one man even said that a mother was effectively and accomplice to a murder. So he was really trying to guilt-trip any woman who's had an abortion despite the fact that he was not aware of the circumstances. I strongly disagree with that statement and thought he was totally out of order in saying it. I'm not going to post my arguments for my belief just yet; I would just like to see other people's opinions on this matter. Do you belief that abortion is right and should be kept as a legal practice? Or do you belief that it is effectively discrimination against the weak and murder.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Her ears pricked up and then she heard it, a scream and the smash of glass across tiles. Beth knew instantly that the anguished scream was from Aria and she bolted to the bathroom at the end of the hall, skidding to a halt just outside and wrenching it open. She saw Aria on the floor, bare and cut, crying into the palms of her bruised and bleeding hands. Beth looked out of the door and heard heavy footfalls on the stairs, she hastened to slam the door shut and lock it. Knowing Aria, she wouldn't want to be made a show of, not in this state. Beth walked slowly over to her friend and dropped to her knees, putting a towel around Aria's shoulder, dabbing some of the cuts on her face with it. Aria looked up with swollen eyes and scowled, [B]"Leave me be, Beth."[/B] she stated coolly, it was obvious that she was holding back fierce tears. Her voice was hoarse and her bottom lip trembled as Beth continued to wipe the blood away. [B]"I'm not leaving you until you're cleaned up, dressed and you've told me what the hell started you off."[/B] Aria looked to the floor, as if she wanted to pull the words from the blood stained tiles. Nothing came and the brunette could feel the cold stare of Beth's ice blue eyes on her face. Beth sighed and pulled off her jacket, putting it around Aria while she removed the towel to fetch a clean one, pouring cold water onto the soft material. She went back to the other girl and continued to wipe at the cuts on her chest and stomach. I was going out with my friend Melissa for about 3 months. She was my first proper kiss and I was hers. When we came out in school that we were together it shocked our friends and a few people were disgusted with us. It was after a while of her being really affection and telling me she loved me and even talking about us living together that I got freaked out and realised that I obviously wasn't as enthusiastic about being with her as she was about me. I told her that I thought I was going through a phase as a teenager and she seemed to accept that, it was only a week or so later that she broke down crying and told me how much that statement had hurt. Now it took me a few months to realise that a same sex relationship was not for me, you said that in the first few hours of your going out you were kissing. Maybe you did move too fast and 'Bob' realised what I did. I don't want to dampen your spirits, really I don't, but I don't think you should dwell on it. I was talking to Melissa only an hour ago and she told me she still had feelings for me despite the fact that she has had numerous boyfriends since we split up. I told her that I was sorry and she knows I am very much in love, maybe that's the wrong expression to use but you know what I mean, with who I'm currently dating and she accepts that, I just told her to stop thinking about it because I wouldn't want her getting hurt of me. I was at my friend's, Steven, house and he was playing on Halo 2 Live while I had the headset. I was just sitting there, not speaking, and some kids are being immature saying that they like strawberry toast. I laughed at that. So Ste carries on playing and tell me to pass on the message that it wasn't him on the headset, it was his friend, Jamie, you know, just in case anyone wanted to speak to him. So I talk and the whole thing goes quiet at hearing a girl?s voice. Then one guys goes, "What the ****? You a girl?" That just plain annoyed me; I can't see why it would be so hard to believe that a girl enjoys gaming. But anyway, it just irked me that someone feels it necessary to use that kind of language on an online game when it clearly isn't necessary. Maybe I'm just old fashioned...[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Izzy groaned and held up the Digivice, [B]"These are the new Digivices, as you can see they are very different to our older models so I assume that they have a new purpose, i.e open up a portal to the Digital world." [/B] He looked to Sakura with reassurance and she took back her Digivice, standing. [B]"I suggest we try out this theory."[/B] Imi stood and pulled Davis with her, TK and Kari also stood, surprising the others. Of course, Tai had to go because he knew Agumon was waiting for him in that cave, protecting the strange object they had found. [B]"Well, looks like the fearless leader has a new party. He uses armor Digivolving and beats it. We'll see the Digimon Haiser make his first appearance, if ULX would be so kind to do so. Then from there I guess we'll head back to the real world. Okahmi suggested that we instead use the normal Digivolutions as our Armor Digivolved forms. That's probably a better idea since none of us even have one Digiegg yet. Since I will be on holiday, Okhami is probably going to take charge of this RP, ULX will also be in control with a lot of it as he is playing Ken.[/B][/SIZE]

Let me break this down to the examples you gave: 1) Calling you honey: I do this all the time, any number of guys on my contacts list and my school friends will tell you. I'm not flirting, I have a very sound relationship and couldn't wish for anything better, honey is just a term to show you're friends. 2) Cookies: Personally, that's just really nice, if a girl can't make cookies for a friend without it being considered flirting something is very wrong with the world. 3) Hugs, pats on the back, and other contact at awkward times: If it makes you feel awkward, tell her, but I don't think that you should interpret this as flirting. Again, I hug all my male and female friends and yet I don't flirt with them. I hold hands with my friends but I don't have any other feelings for them other than friendship. If there are some things that she does, ie. make sexual comments around or say? flash O_o then I would believe that she had a crush on you. Based on the examples you gave, I don't think you have anything to worry about her being unfaithful...not with you, anyway. I've been on the boards since April this year and I can distinctly remember why I joined. *clears throat* I found out about theOtaku when I was searching for fan art, back then I didn't have a scanner so I didn't see much point in joining but I always remembered the site. So when we got a scanner I decided to join up with the site so I could get my pics onto the internet. One day I was bored and I was checking out my Backroom when I saw the 'Connect Otakuboards account' option. Of course, I had to do everything that was available to me so I came to the Otakuboards for the sole purpose of attaching myOtaku account. Very strange. I actually didn't post for about a month and it was sheer boredom that got me looking around. Most people know that I stick to the Arena, even though anime is what got me here in the first place I never even look at the Anime Lounge these days. Funny thing to mention this thread, I remember that some people have thought I was a lot older than fourteen, they've always been surprised when I tell them ^^;[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Out story focuses on the Institute for Magic and Literature where love is becoming a common occurrence with each passing term. Like all teenage girls she is unhappy with the way she looks, at least she has accepted the fact at last. His parents passed away when he was younger and his grandparents raised him, though he never really saw either of them. He now lives by himself and has grown to be quite mature from having so many responsibilities. He usually feels like he has to look after his friend, Elliot, mostly because the boy is younger and Imric doesn't want him to ever feel the hurt that he did. He is very much of a big brother figure to Elliot and to his other friends, always making sure that they are doing okay in school. He is one of the smartest in the school and most people consider him to be a nerd, which he is, but he'll never admit it. His strong point is English and History, though he is terrible at sports. An easy target for the sports orientated boys, especially since he has a reputation for not fighting back. She enjoys video games and sports, especially soccer and basketball, but she isn?t much of a team player and is seen as an unpopular person in her new school. She goes to computer club and enjoys Izzy's company and can be a bit of a nerd. She doesn't trust people easily but once she does, she will open right up to them. [B]Bio:[/B] Imi comes from a pretty average background, she moved from Kyoto only a few months ago and it took her parents a while to find a good school that had a place open for her. There isn't any reason why she is such a loner; something just seemed to snap when she moved from her friends. She was a very popular girl with a large group of friends, but as soon as she moved she became a recluse and preferred to sit at home on her computer. She writes a lot and it is through her writing that she takes out her frustration, she keeps a diary that is very special to her and no one has ever read it before. The only friend that she has to speak of is Kari, she hasn't really tried to make any other friends and it was only by hence that she met the Kamiya children. She cannot stand to be around Tai for more than 5 minutes and gets very frustrated from just listening to him. Naturally, she can't stand Davis either and would rather sit alone than be close to him while he's flirting with Kari. Imi has always wanted a best friend that she could tell all her secrets to, someone who is there to protect her when she needs it and someone who she can look after when they are in need. It was one afternoon when she was just leaving class, that she saw a flash of light from the corner of her eye. She ran into the corridor and found that it had come from the computer room where Izzy was checking the school's system. A few seconds later, she was hit by a burst of greyish light and she felt her palm fill with a hard, cold metal. Upon opening her fist, the girl saw a hand held Device, glistening silver in the sunlight. For some reason she knew that what had happened to her was right, and she began walking to the computer room.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Tai stared at it and picked Agumon up, struggling to keep a fast pace as they reached a cave, taking shelter there. The two caught their breath and looked at each other, before hugging and laughing. That was when he spotted it, an egg with the crest of courage carved into it's shell. Unable to take his hands off the egg, the holder of Courage took the pain and watched as four lights shot out from the egg. It was when they had disappeared that the boy took his hands from the egg, blowing cold air into his palms. As you can tell, this is based on the second season of Digimon (because that season rocked). I won't be focussing on the three new Digi Destined as I prefer the old guys, so we will be going about a new way of defeating the Digimon Kaiser, the mature way ^_~ *points to rating* I feel that Digimon will be so much more interesting this way. Now, of course we won't be in the Digi world the whole time, there will still be fun stuffs outside of battles.
