1. My name has been taken *sobs* The word homosexuality drew me right in, but I see that only boys have signed up so far...guess I should be a girl. Name: Elizabeth 'Beth' Nesbitt Age: 22 Gender: Female Appearance: Beth stands at a small 5'5'' and has always been told that she has a very different look about her. Not the usual attractiveness that most girls wish to have, in fact, she is quite the opposite. With pale, smooth skin and short red hair, Beth most certainly sticks out from the crowd. Her eyes are a grey/green colour; most people would describe them as cold. She has long eyelashes and always holds her eyes half closed, giving her a very smug look most of the time. She doesn't smile much, but when she does her features are lifted and people say that she looks like a different person. On the clothes side of things, Beth likes to wear jeans and jumpers. She has one dress that she has worn once in her life, she hates having to dress up and would rather look smart but comfortable. All her clothes are in good taste and she even designs some of her own. Her whole wardrobe is fitted around her skin and hair colour, comprising mostly of black, grey and purple. Personality: Beth is the quiet type who doesn't like to draw unwanted attention to herself. She keeps to herself in lessons and gets on with the work without much talking. But she isn't shy, not at all; she just prefers her own company. In fact there isn't one person on campus that Beth knows about who doesn't like her. She is a very funny person and people usually enjoy her company, add to that the fact that she's always willing to buy a few drinks. Beth gets on well with the teachers and makes a good impression on people for the first time; she is polite and has a very 'posh' British accent, which has turned a few heads in the past. Background: Beth was raised in Liverpool, England and experienced some of the roughest and hardest situations that a young child can be in. When she started school she was immediately targeted for bullying because of her then second name, Payne. Even though the idea of name-calling wore off by the time Beth was 13, when she was at the tender age of 5, it seemed so serious. Children would pester her during school and even while she was walking home, the teachers did nothing about it, either. In fact, most of the time they would only hear the childish comments and found it funny. What they didn't see was the beatings that young Beth got when no one was there to protect her. The girl went through school without any true friends to speak of. At the age of ten she met a girl called Natalie and the two were inseparable, until Natalie moved to America a year later that is. Beth was distraught and refused to go to school, she was then home taught for a number of months until she joined high school. At the age of 14, Beth cut off all of her previously long, blond hair and dyed it red, attracting more stares and harsh comments form the people in her school. Luckily for her, she was good at sports and that was the key thing when in a sports oriented school. When Beth left High School, she decided that instead of going to University in England, she would move to America and study the arts there, having heard great things about a certain college in New York. After managing to raise enough money, and with the support of her family, Beth took a plane to New York and started all over again, at the young age of 20. She now lives on Campus and has few friends, though all of them are very close. She isn't keen on the idea of falling in love for fear of her grades, as she is a very dedicated student, too much so, some would say. She enjoys going out at night and is usually the first and last to pay for a round of drinks. When she has the time, Beth works at a cafe close to the College to make sure that she is never short of money despite the fact that her parents send her a rather hefty weekly allowance. Whoo, edit! Hope that was okay ^_~
2. Wai!! Eikou-sama!! *glomps* Thank you so much the both of you for doing these banners for me, I'm going to use Eikou's because her style is more to what I like ie. simple. Shredaa, thank you for your set, the only problem I have with it is that it's too bold, it's not that the banner isn't good, it's just that it's not the style I like. Keep practising and you'll be brilliant. Thanks again, Eikou, for your wonderful work...you flatter me ^_~
3. 'I don't want a lot for Christmas? there is just one thing I need...' A banner! That was very sad...*cough* ANYwhooze....I love my banner that I have now and after new year I will be going back to it for the rest of my existence on the OB. But for Christmas, I need something to get me in the mood. I have two ideas. The first one is a simple banner with a picture of mistletoe; maybe with fuzzy edges to give it the more dreamy/warm/romantic feel. You know what I'm getting at? Anyway, if it could just say 'Mistletoe, baby...' on the banner and for the avi just another simple picture of Mistletoe with my name. The other idea was to show my appreciation for Legacy *kiss kiss* I just wanted a romantic Christmas feel to this and for it to have 'All I want for Christmas is you...' somewhere and 'Methuselah and Legacy' on it, too. The avi can be a bauble with my name on it. Thanks if you can do either of these requests, I'm not expecting both but I really would like a Christmas banner (and since I'm only getting Photoshop FOR Christmas) I need to ask you talented graphic art type people out there for a favour ^_^;; Thanks in advance.
4. I was in it! I was a...puppy?! I hope I was a cute puppy ¬_¬ or I will be forced to eat your leg and do various other puppy-like-things to it....honestly...>_>
5. OOC ...My...computer...wiped out my last...post....*twitch* Beth pressed two fingers to Drake's head gingerly, hoping that he wasn't in too much pain. She realised that all he had, in fact, was a bad bruise. The cut was bleeding, yes, but it didn't look as if it would scar. Beth tore some of her pyjama top and dabbed Drake's forehead with the soft material, cleaning up most of the blood. She looked over to the gravel drive as a police car pulled in, a man quickly got out of the driver's side. He walked over to where the robbers had been left in a group, looking around in amazement. After handcuffing and pushing the men into the car, the policeman walked over to the closest person, Beth. "You done well to knock out those robbers, but I see you may need assistance," his French accent was apparent and the man seemed to struggle with certain words. Beth cringed inwardly at the thought of having to use French; she never was any good at it. She stood up from where she had been tending to Drake and shook hands with the officer, shaking her head slightly, "You should be congratulating that girl," Beth motioned to Aria, "She's the real hero, not to mention Drake here." Beth turned her gaze to the boy on the floor behind her, a purple pyjama sleeve hanging limply from his forehead. The officer sighed and rubbed his forehead, "Do you need an ambulance?" he asked, his voice showed worry as he looked at Beth's thoughtful expression. "I don't think so..." she replied, "We can handle ourselves, but we'll be sure to call if we need any help. Thank you, Officer." The man obviously wasn't very pleased with Beth?s response and bowed his head slightly to the teen before walking over to Aria and Kim hoping to get a saner answer from them. In the meantime, Beth knelt down at Drake's side, removing the cloth from his injury. He groaned slightly and opened his eyes, looking up at Beth's face. "Beth, that you?" He asked groggily, his throat sounded dry and the night air had chapped his lips, Beth wondered why she was even looking at them. She quickly shook her head to clear it and smiled warmly at Drake, trying to look comforting. "I think you should lay still for a while, Drake." she said, watching as Drake smirked and raised an eyebrow. "It's cool, babe." he said jokingly, laughing slightly at Beth's pout. After an awkward silence, Drake raised his hand and propped himself up on one elbow, touching Beth's cheek lightly with his fingertips, gently stroking her pale skin. Beth jumped slightly at the touch but didn't back up, instead she felt a blush rise to her cheeks, warming her previously cold face. Drake chuckled smugly and sat up, cupping Beth's face lightly while guiding her lips to his. The girl almost gasped when her lips touched Drake's, surprised by the feelings she was getting, not to mention the atomic blush that had somehow illuminated her face. OOC Gawd, all that writing for one kiss ^_~ You better appreciate that, Albel!
6. I think I'll be good, for once ^_^ Name: Muriel, the Angel of Emotions Race: Angel Sex: Female Age: Around the age of 200 Appearance:Muriel Preferred Weapon: Saviour, except where it is gold, the metal is silver. The feathers are bright white and the wood is slightly lighter. Background: Muriel has always been, and always will be, loyal. She stands by God in everything and is more than ready to fight for his cause. She despises the Fallen Angels and prefers not to speak about them, even when she needs to. The reason Muriel hates the Fallen so much is because of her position, as the one who is supposed to look after human's emotions, she can feel the terror in their hearts at the very mention of these so called 'monsters' that have terrorized human's throughout eternity. She often wishes that could be one of the stronger Angel's, like Gabriel. She looks up to him and wishes to fight with him in everything he does. Though, the Angel does not wish for others to get hurt doing things that he must sort out himself. Muriel may not be the strongest of fighters but she can hold her own and she is determined to help in the pure cause of her King.
7. December 03 Jamie groaned as she set down yet another tray of empty coffee mugs on the counter at the Bread Roll. Her boss chuckled at the expression on the young woman?s face as she turned to see another group of businessmen enter the cafe. "I can't take much more of this, Drew..." she sighed. It just so happened, that on one of the busiest days of the year, the rest of the team had come down with colds or a fever. Now Jamie was one of few waitresses who were on the floor today. They really needed more people. Drew sighed and nodded to a couple of well known faces, "Come on, you've only got ten minutes left, make the most of it, kid." Drew had grown to be somewhat of a father figure to Jamie in the couple of years that she had worked at the successful cafe. He was always giving her tips on what to do when she 'grew up'. He would tell her what to look out for in men when looking for boyfriend material. He was an all-round great guy who wasn?t afraid to go all out when it came to Christmas. Yes, this year, the Bread Roll would be holding a Christmas party on its second floor; it was still being renovated and was the perfect location for a good party. After Jamie's shift had finally finished, she hung up her apron and pulled her coat on, wrapping a scarf around her neck tightly. She headed out the door and went down the street; her destination was the local Games Store. She needed a new game, realising that lately she had fallen out of touch with the rest of the gamers she knew. Still debating whether or not she should buy an XBox before Christmas, Jamie entered the Game Store. She hailed one of the clerks and smiled, reading his name tag, "Excuse me, Donovan," she said politely, noticing that the young man was half asleep, rubbing his forehead. "Um, are you okay?" "Yeah," the man chuckled slightly, almost sadly before lifting his gaze to Jamie, "How may I help?" OOC Party at the Bread Roll! December 6!
8. Falcon smirked as she backed up slowly, keeping her eye glued to the path from her hiding spot behind a large snow bank. She heard Panther behind her, his radio crackling with messages. He shot her a glare that screamed the message 'Get the hell down, moron', not that Falcon ever listened to the wonderful Phantom, he knew it, too. She just smiled and waved, giving his leg a look before shaking her finger in the way a mother would scold a child. Panther looked as if he was ready to throttle her. He probably would have, too, if the enemy hadn't just thrown a grenade. "All units get down! Live grenade! I repeat. Get down!!" Panther threw himself over towards Falcon, taking the two of them through a snow bank, landing in a large pile of frost and snow just in time to hear an explosion and watch snow and dirt rain from the small crater. Falcon sighed in relief as Panther sat up, knocking some soil from his uniform. Falcon laughed nervously and shrugged, a silly grin on her face as she untangled herself from her commander. "I'll keep a closer eye out next time..." she said timidly before turning to where she was supposed to be watching, cringing from the cold stare of Panther's eyes boring into her back.

She almost always hits her mark and has never failed to perform when needed. She is also fairly good at hand to hand combat having studied Kung Fu for three years. Weapon of Choice: A Sniper Rifle L96, her fists and a simple knife that she always keeps in her belt. Notes/Appearance: See Photo Notes/Personality: Is known to be kind hearted and fair, always treating others around her with respect. Has never stepped out of line and seems to be a perfectly loyal recruit. Has been known to become emotionally attached to male recruits, this could cause a problem. Notes/Past: Seems to be a relatively new face with no traces back to former recruits. Has always acted kindly and doesn't usually fit in with anyone she has met. Has been removed from the field in the past because of a certain incident when a lover was killed. Recruit was deeply affected and killed many of her own side, was drugged and put in a ward to be treated. Seems to have fully recovered and has exceptional sniping and driving skills. Can pilot a helicopter reasonably well but should be kept under close watch. She should avoid emotional ties incase of another breakdown.
10. November 30 Snow gradually began to fall from the now dark sky as a young woman peered out of her window, her breath condensing on the cold glass before her. Jamie Nesbitt sighed and drew a heart in the misty circle, before quickly running a fingertip through it, breaking heart in two. Another deep sigh escaped her throat as she stood up and stretched, looking at the electrical fire before turning it up a notch. Natalie was out buying one of those advent calendars. Jamie chuckled, remembering the conversation she and her roommate had had no more than 10 minutes ago. Sure, they were both adults, but why not have a little fun. The door in the hall opened and shut quickly, a shivering Natalie hung up her coat and knocked some snow from her blond, messy hair before placing a relatively flat rectangular box on the kitchen table. Jamie walked out from the sitting room to help her friend with some shopping that she had decided to pick up, glancing up at the small clock on the yellow kitchen wall. "Hm, 11 o'clock, we should get to bed, Nat." The blond in turn looked up at the clock face and nodded, smiling happily at her friend before throwing her right arm over the taller girl's shoulder, pulling her into a hug. "We wouldn't want Santa to think we were being naughty!" she laughed and walked into the bedroom that the two women shared, pulling off her scarf and jersey as she went. Jamie followed and shook her head, taking one last look out of the window before switching off the fire. "Yeah, Santa indeed..." ---- I'm getting in the Christmas Spirit already! 11. The people who are in are as follows: -Muse: Daniel Hynes -Methuselah: Jamie Nesbitt -Neuvoxraiha: Leilong Ryan -Kittychanann: Megan (Meg or Maggie) Johnson -Unborn Lord Xion: Donovan Black -vicky: Jonathan (Jon) Russel Well done everyone, I'll start this within an hour ^_^ Note: If you still want to join, you have until tomorrow. 12. Thanks for your sign ups so far everyone, I love them all! Name: Jamie Nesbitt Age: 22 Gender: Female Occupation: Waitress at her local Cafe, the Bread Roll, a well known place for business men to visit in the morning. Renowned for it's muffins, too. She also does some part time theatre work. Appearance: Jamie stands at a small 5'5'' with short, black hair with red highlights. She has a pale complexion but usually likes to wear purple make up, she especially likes to wear dark purple lipstick, giving her a rather gothic look most of the time. She has high cheekbones and long eyelashes, casting a shadow on her grey/green eyes. She has a reasonable figure, usually going to the gym at least once a week to swim. Usually she will wear black or grey jeans matched with a polar neck of any colour (except brown) she always wears a plain silver cross around her neck, a gift from her mother. Personality: Jamie is usually a very happy person who enjoys other people's company and is willing to talk to people if she needs to. She has to be good with people in her job as the Bread Roll is a very well known Cafe and has a good reputation, she has won best employee of the year once and hopes to win the award again this year. She has a good sense of humour and loves to make her friends laugh, even if it's at her own expense. The only problem with Jamie is that she isn't very confident; if someone makes a comment on her appearance she takes it to heart and goes into a slightly depressive mood. For most of her life she was lead to believe, by both her father and brother, that she was ugly and would never get married. It has stuck with her and Jamie can't seem to get over it. Single/Taken: Single, looking but not hopeful Bio: Jamie was raised in a rough area of England and never really experienced a happy childhood. Her father was a violent drunk and her brother was constantly in and out of jail, despite that, she and her mother kept high spirits and learned to live through it all. When Jamie's mother divorced her husband, the two women moved to London and started the tradition of Advent Calendars, both thought it was silly but enjoyed it never the less. When Jamie decided to move to America, her mother was sad but was glad that her daughter had found something to do in her life, so she supported Jamie every step of the way. Jamie studied English in New York and started to do Drama classes, getting some good roles in School plays. She eventually joined a theatre group and took part in plays during her holidays and weekends, most of the things she done was Shakespeare. Jamie now has a permanent job at the Bread Roll and she has been there for 2 years, she doesn't act much any more but still enjoys the theatre. A couple of things I should have added, silly me, this is based in New York and everyone has to get a Calendar one way or another. I think that's it ^_^;;
13. Imric sighed heavily as he watched the others around him randomly turn themselves, and their friends, into animals. He rolled his eyes as Suzuki ran around the room, squeaking insanely and chomping on Sabre's tail as the poor creature tried desperately to keep himself out of trouble. The bishie found himself feeling extremely bored, tapping his pencil repeatedly on the table top, trying to amuse himself somehow. He then heard a low cough in front of him, like someone choking on a fur ball. He didn't bother to lift his emerald eyes to match the gaze of the person casting a shadow over him; instead he decided to look the other way, resting his head on the table. "Do you plan on working at all this lesson, Mr Kagushi?" "...No, actually." Mrs. Subamai glared as her face began to go an odd shade of red, mixing with purple as her anger built up. She glared at the boy before her and pulled on his ponytail harshly, yanking his head up. Imric twitched. "FIREBALL!"
14. Lawless yawned loudly as she half stumbled, half fell down the last three steps, barely catching the banister in time to break her fall. Breakdown blinked and stared before blushing, turning his attention to his eggs and bacon. Lawless sighed and looked down, seeing that her pink, fuzzy dressing gown had come undone. "Oh, bugger..." she sighed, jumping down the last two steps and tying the robe up, walking past Breakdown trying to act like nothing had happened. "So, Beth, you want some eggs?" Breakdown asked for the second time, trying desperately to look his friend in the eye while she mock glared him. "Actually, no, I'm not very hungry this morning...." with that the young redhead plopped herself down on the couch, snuggling up to a large fluffy pillow while switching on the wide screen. "Anything you want to watch?" The girl asked through the pillow, her voice muffled. Breakdown cocked an eyebrow and looked at her questioningly, "Excuse me?" Lawless sighed deeply and wiped a few strands of hair from her eyes dramatically, "No one ever listens to me!" with that she drifted upstairs to find someone to talk to, hoping that it wouldn?t be X. She shuddered at the thought, he could be so annoying.
15. Advent Wishes ?They say you grow out of things like Santa Claus and Advent Calendars. Heck, adults say that they eventually grow out of making wishes, or at least believing that they would come true. I think it?s sad when people reach that age when they just, well, run out of things to believe in! I mean, who?s to prove that Santa doesn?t exist, everyone just assumes that it?s a little story to get children to behave properly, not that it actually works! I?ve seen many a child before now behave like a little horror all year round and make a miraculous change in the week before Christmas. They think I don?t know, but I guess that?s what makes me so famous?.good thing I can keep my ego under control. But I?m getting off track now?let?s see. Ah yes! I was going to talk about wishes, particularly Christmas Wishes. Most children make their lists for me, wishing for gifts that they?ve been wanting all year. Why don?t adults do it? When it?s really adults who want things more, need them more. Take a woman from a few years back, yes, I remember her well. She and her husband had been trying all year long for a baby but they just couldn?t get it. Just when she believed that all hope was lost, a family member made a joke saying that Santa may bring one. She laughed and wrote out a letter just for me, chuckling as she went to bed with her husband. Low and behold, a week after Christmas, she fell pregnant. A little late, I know, but some wishes are a little hard to grant with my age. The point I?m getting at is that you should never forget about the good times you had when you were young! That bliss that you experienced believing in the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and?me. So take this to heed, everyone, this Christmas, make a wish and write it out for Santa. You never know what the power of belief can do?.? ?Jamie! What are you doing watching that, aren?t you a little old for Santa?? The TV was switched off, leaving a young woman chuckling to herself quietly before turning to her friend, a slight blush on her cheeks. ?Aw, come on, Natalie, maybe ol? Santa?s right?? The blond shook her head, patting her friend on the back while laughing, switching on the lights and drawing the curtains. ?I think I?m going to buy you an advent calendar, so you can experience the ?bliss? you felt as a child.? ?Thanks for that, Nat,? Jamie said, still laughing at herself, ?If you do bother to buy one, make sure it?s one of those new wishing advents, they look interesting.? Natalie sighed, looking at her roommate like she had finally lost it before turning on her heel and leaving the room, getting in her car to drive to the store. Tomorrow would be December 1st, the day that children worldwide got their Advent Calendars and started the countdown to Christmas. Jamie smiled and looked out of the window, staring at the clear sky while deep in thought. Somewhere an old man smiled, laughing from the conversation he had just heard. ?A Wish Calendar indeed, that will make my job so much easier?.? **** Look! A corny Christmas Romance RP for all to enjoy! Okay, so not everyone has to go alone with the romance, I just want people to have fun. Now, I know you?re going to think that it?s far too early to start a Christmas RP, but as you can see, this will follow an Advent Calendar (a calendar that has something like a chocolate behind each day, counting down the days from Dec 1st to Christmas Eve). I think I?ll limit the amount of people to 6, so sign up anyway but you may not get in. This isn?t first come, first serve (hopefully I?ll get enough interest). Just to clarify something, Santa is real in this RP! I do not believe in Santa >_> but I think it would be fun if he existed?. The Wish Calendar is like an advent calendar, each window for a day has a chocolate behind it but it also has a little scroll of gold paper behind one of the dates (there is only one!) on the scroll, the person who owns the calendar writes one wish (either for a gift or something else) and the leaves the Calendar out on Christmas Eve, hoping that Santa will grant their wishes. Make the wish count people, ?tis important! Just a weird little idea I came up with, heh heh. I will be playing Jamie and anyone can play Natalie, Jamie?s roommate. Most of all I want this to be fun and hopefully for it to actually run until Christmas. Sign ups: Name: Age: (above 20) Gender: Occupation: Appearance: Written or picture Personality: Single/Taken: Taken- Dating/Married: It would be good if it was with someone in the RP, if not then just make someone up. Bio: Doesn?t have to be long, only about 5 lines. Just say some basic facts or any needed information to make your character interesting. Well, that?s it, my sign up will follow and I hope you all have fun ^_^ This will start on November 30, so sign ups will be closed by then (unless there aren?t enough people).
16. I read the chapter this morning but I was too tired (and lazy) at the time to reply right then.... I loved the chapter! Those gay jokes were brilliant, all gay jokes are. You are an absolute genius, and like everyone else, I eagerly await the grand finale and the revealing of the Postless Banner's identity. Keep it going and update soon *or else*
17.
Is talking to yourself a bad habit? lol.
I hope not O_o I bite the inside of my cheek, too, I also have a bad habit of peeling of the skin from my lips when they are chapped >_< terrible, that's why I wear such dark lipstick, lol. I tend to doodle all through lessons, which is quite bad since that usually means that I'm not listening and the teachers then pick on me. Another bad habit I have is being very sarcastic, though I'd rather not stop being that way, it's a part of my personality no matter how much my friends hate it! XD Oh yeah, I tend to correct people on their English while they talk, too, that's earned me a cold look many a time before.
18. Unfortunatly, when I'm stressed I tend to take it out the nearest hard object ^_^;; It's generally my wall, it does make me feel better, but hey, my knuckles could do without it. I used to go to Kung Fu twice a week and I never really felt stressed afterwards, once I was angry and hit the bag too hard, I feel sorry for my poor mother being my partner, heh heh. I agree with Corey, though, first person shooters are very relaxing indeed, I find Halo a very good relaxent, except playing on live >_< because I suck at it, which then makes me more stressed. Music is good, too, some good Linkin' Park or any songs from the Slayers anime does it for me, talk about two different extremes, eh?
19. In light of recent events that have changed my life considerably, I've found new things that I'm thankful for, things that I guess I never really appreciated before. I'm thankful for my mother, even though a lot of the time I think she's being strict or over protective, I've realised that everything she ever does and has ever done is all for me and for my benefit. She wants me to live properly and to not make the same mistakes that she made. I'm thankful for the love I have for John, even though our relationship may be a real test for both of us, my feelings are too strong to let it fall apart. I love you with all my heart and soul and I want to make more of what we already have. I'm thankful for my friends, both online and in school, because you are the one's who keep my spirits high when I'm feeling down and you're always there to listen to me, I love you all, thank you for being right here for me. Lastly, I'm thankful for music and art, those two things are the ways I can express my emotions and even if I'm alone, I can always count on my pencil to cure me of boredom.
20. Name: Elizabeth Nesbitt Codename: Lawless Age: 20 Gender: Female Occupation: Law School Student Powers: Due to Lawless' extreme sense of 'justice' and her keen eye for spotting a culprit, she has managed to develop her powers around bad emotions. She is able to take people's bad feelings, and make herself more powerful while making the person that she targets happy and well, a sad, helpless adult that would prefer to hug Barney than rob a jewellery store. Her main power is strength, the more bad feelings she has the stronger she gets. Her weapon is practically anything that comes to hand, if she can lift it...why not throw it, too? Appearance: Costume= attachment Beth usually wears tight jeans and tank tops or boob tubes in the summer; during the winter she will wear the same style jeans with polar necks and boots. She always wears a simple silver cross around her neck, except when she is in her costume. Dysfunction: Lawless has, as most can tell by her name, no sense of what the law really is. Despite the fact that she is a law student, she disagrees with most punishments and believes that her professor should be in jail for life. Most of the time she will threaten her team mates, mostly X, saying that they are unjust and should be watching happy shows rather than fighting. She has an amazing ability to get on peoples nerves, not to mention the fact that she is a huge flirt without even trying. Bio: Beth was raised by a normal mother and a...not so normal father. Her dad was the reasonably well known 'Airwave', who was a crime fighter to the greatest extreme. He worked along side the more famous super heroes but preferred to stay in the background. He was able to manipulate wind, using it to cut through objects or simply blow people away. He also used a cape, a bad idea since it caused him some injuries in his time (getting stuck on lightning conductors, for example). Beth's mother (Charlene) was a lawyer and met 'Airwave' (James) through a rather strange court case that occurred when Super Hero's were beginning to fall out of the public eye. When Beth was born, it was a happy day for both Charlene and James and they were determined to train her in hopes of their daughter becoming a wonderful super hero, capable of taking down the most formidable of foes. Unfortunately, within a few years it was apparent that her training would be no easy task, especially when young Beth accused the ice cream man of arson. It was obvious that Beth had a warped sense of justice and would try to accuse anyone and everyone of some crime or another just so that she could have an excuse to use her powers on them. When her parents actually realised what her powers were, it came as quite a shock. It was Beth's 8th Birthday when she accused an old lady of kidnapping cats and selling them on the black market, when the lady became angry Beth merely touched her and smirked, puffing out her chest and...uprooting a tree while the dear old woman bought ice cream for the rest of the party goers, a broad smile plastered on her face. As the years went by, Beth developed an obsession with the law, studying old cases against super heroes and trying to figure out how she would have won the case. Now that she is 20, she has found a new path in life...no, not to annoy other heroes into arresting old ladies, but to fight crime along with the Dysfunctionals! And possibly make a buck along the way... Woah, man, I ripped off the Incredibles O_O
21. Name: Jamie Elizabeth Nesbitt Age: 30 Appearance: Jamie Jamie stands at 5'8'' and is never seen without her glasses. She usually likes to dress smart but comfortable, always making sure that she looks presentable. Short Bio: Jamie always enjoyed working and learning about nature from when she was a teenager. Her first real job was working at a vet, just doing basic cleaning up after hours and making sure the animals were fed. Jamie thrived in that environment but never took it any further; her family wondered why she never became a vet, even though she had the capabilities. What the young girl, only 19 at the time, really wanted to do was travel. She knew that she wouldn't travel much as a vet so she instead took up a carrier as a scientist, specialising in biology. After finally getting her degree, Jamie travelled to places like Africa and South America, doing in depth studies on species that little was known about. Two years later, after travelling many miles and making somewhat of a name for herself, Jamie heard about the colonies in space. She decided that her next step would be to move to one of the colonies, there she would be able to study new life forms that she would never get a chance to study on earth. After moving to the first colony, Jamie got to know a few people around her but never socialised much, preferring to stay within the groups of people she knew. She now works for a lab that studies alien life forms. She captains a team that are usually sent out on missions to find a new species of bacteria, seeing as that really is the only other organism on Deimos, and she loves her job, even though some encounters have a been a little close for comfort. The team has, on more than one occasion, found traces of a new disease. ---- I eddited my bio so now I'm a bacteria scientist O_o if it still needs changing, then PM or IM me..
22. Beth smiled nervously but tried desperately to hide, wanting to keep her cool exterior. Meanwhile, she was ecstatically happy, she had to be in the final team. Had to be! She looked to her right and smiled at Kane who returned her smile, giving her a nudge and a thumbs up. Beth nodded and looked at Jazzman...who quickly averted his gaze. "If you look above you, you will each see a light," everyone looked up to see that they each had a white globe suspended above them, "If your made it into the final team, then your globe will glow the team's colour, Royal Blue." Everyone shifted nervously, waiting for the verdict. Beth squeezed her eyes shut and crossed her fingers, hoping inside that she had made the cut. After a few seconds, she heard a cheer from the crowd and a 'Yes!' from Kane. She looked up to see that both of their globes were glowing a soothing Royal Blue. Beth couldn't help but smile, hugging Kane tightly and laughing with him. DJ Jazzman smiled and clapped with everyone else, watching as the Blade Breakers, friends and family rushed onto the stage to congratulate the final 5. OOC True Blue 4 Life, man.
23. This thread is actually quite amusing ^_^;; I think the most stupid thing anyone has said to me was my old boyfriend, Joe (name and shame!). I remember when I was going to a theme park with him, we were sitting in the back of his mum's car and I remembered a picture message that he had sent to me the day before. Now, he never usually shows any emotions and hardly ever told me he loved me or anything so when I recieved a simple image of a heart I thought it was the sweetest thing in the world. So I hold his hand and he loks at me all weird and I said, "That message you sent to me yesterday was so sweet, thank you." and I'm all smiles and he just rolls his eyes and shrugs saying, "Yeah, but I thought it only cost me 12p, if I knew it would have cost me more I wouldn't have sent it." You can imagine my reaction.
24. Beth blew lightly over the dusty pages of an old book, relishing the smell of moth eaten paper...she loved that smell...the smell of knowledge. A small smile crept it's way onto her usually emotionless face, those grey eyes sparking like they hadn't done in many years. Others of her clan were out fighting there way to get what they wanted, but why fight strangers when you could study them? Since the female was well versed in many languages, she didn't have any trouble with ready the Italian that the ancient texts were written in. She laughed softly at some of the absurd things that people believed hundreds of years ago, remembering that many of the people in her clan would have believed the same. How strange it must have been for them to grow old in this changing world. The thought amazed Beth as she herself had grown old through many changes. Her mind then drifted to some of her old friends, those who she had grown a part from. She still saw them every now and then, but not as much as she would have liked. Suddenly, from around the corner, an old voice was heard speaking slow Italian. Beth imagined that it was a foreigner talking to a guide; this Library was, after all, a relic of sorts. She gasped and almost dropped the book she was studying, hurrying to hide behind one of the tall bookcases. She cringed as two men in their late 50s came into view, looking at the table of opened and dusted books with perplexed expressions. They eventually, after looking not so thoroughly, came to the conclusions that there was no one around and began searching through the old books for something. Beth realised that they were looking at books detailing cultist rituals. Her eyes widened at the idea of what information like that could be used for if taken into the wrong hands. Beth stepped out and cleared her throat, much to the surprise of the two men now standing before her. The one, a British gentleman, smiled slightly and walked forward, his arms outstretched. But Beth didn't let him speak, she knew she had to stop these two. Squeezing her eyes shut, the young woman muttered 'I?m sorry' before casting a minor spell, freezing the men?s shadows to the floor. When they both realised what had happened they stood in shock, not knowing what to do. Just to complete the spell, Beth set up an orb that would provide constant light, making sure that the two would never leave this place. She sighed deeply and picked up a couple of books, pushing them into a bag slung over her shoulder. Just before leaving, Beth bowed her head to the two men, muttering another apology...then, she was gone for good. Walking into the night air in search of a place to stay.
25. OOC Wait! How dare you leave me behind ;_; Beth shook her head she jogged around the corner leading to her school. She'd had another on of those haunting dreams. All alone, just black surrounding her.... like the darkness was trying to suffocate her. The girl laughed at herself as she felt the blood slowly rise to her face, jogging for 15 minutes and knowing that you'll be late for school anyway wasn't really fun. She sighed deeply as she reached the front hall, pushing the door open lazily, using her shoulder to slide in, her trainers tapping on the white tiled floor. The old secretary peered from her desk, tutting at the make up on Beth's face. Another sigh escaped the brunette?s chapped lips. She ran her tongue across them, raising an eyebrow as two students walked out the back door, holding hands and laughing. Lucky them! she thought, before shoving her hands in her pockets, making her way towards first lesson. OOC Yeah, short, live with it.
