[SIZE=2][FONT=Book Antiqua][COLOR=DarkSlateGray]I've only seen a few episodes of certain series and now I'm hungry for more, let's see: Ranma 1/2- I'm seriously thinking about buying the whole DVD collection for this, regardless that it will set me back by quite a lot of money. I've got two of the OAVs and they are both a brilliant watch, tons of fun and great jokes slipped in. If only they chose a better person to do Shampoo's dubbed voice *shudder* Fruits Basket- Again, I've only seen a few episodes of this, but what I have seen is great. I'm not too keen on getting the manga because I don't really like the style, but the anime is just fantastic. For anyone else who wants to see this, you must, I couldn't stop laughing. Gravitation- Yaoi fangirl, nuff said XP;; Hellsing- This looks totally awesome but my mum won't let me buy the DVDs, grr, totally not fair. Slayers Next and Try- I've read about the series, I've got countless pictures of the characters and I know the storylines off by heart...but I haven't seen a single episode ;_; I was looking to buy the Slayers Next series on DVD a while ago but then I realised I was broke. I really want to see these series though. Gensomaden Saiyuki- I've seen Saiyuki Reload and Saiyuki Requiem but not the first series ;_; when I was searching to but it, the only DVDs that came up were the Reload ones...so I had to get my Sanzo-ness from them instead >_>;; [B]There are a couple of others I'd like to see, might as well list them- DNAngel Digimon Season 2- Okay, I've watched this twice but I want the DVDs...such an awesome series! Since each realm could be drastically different from the last, I will need someone who knows enough about the anime to start things off. Yes, it is most definitely the biggest thing to hit the anime world for many years and avid fans from all over the globe are preparing to travel to Japan for four months of true heaven. But what they do not know is, the world that they wish could coincide with their own?well, it actually does! The realms of the animes we have grown to know and love are all under threat from an unknown force and they need the anime fans of today to help them. Only a select few will be chosen, they are the best of the best, the ones who can say ?Yes? to nearly ever point on a YKYWTM?W (You know you watch too much --- when?.) List. The ones who are, well, to put it nicely?obsessed with their anime and have latched on to a certain character. Because, we all know, people would be better off if there were twice as many heroes? Before I get to the sign up sheet, there are a few things I should go over? I?m sure everyone knows what a cosplayer is- someone who dresses as their favourite anime character and goes to conventions. Now, you will be an average person, dressing as whomever you like, making your way to Japan for this massive convention. I think it would be easier if people chose characters from the well-known animes, like Inu Yasha, Gundam Wing etc. things that most people will know about. The way this is going to work is as so; the RP will be separated into chapters, each one dedicated to an anime that someone is from. The whole group will travel through the certain realm and defeat the enemy at the end of it to reclaim it for the rightful characters. Now, saying we?re going through a Trigun realm, we will obviously meet Vash. Say for example there?s a Vash on our team, the two will look exactly the same and will either repel each other or become the best of friends. The real Vash will then join our team and travel along with us, acting as an NCP. Sound simple? If not, ask me in the Underground thread or by PM, I?ll gladly answer any questions. James shook his head and checked the clock on the wall, 10 more minutes and he would be free for an hour. Being an art teacher was quite handy for free periods, these days not many people were interested in the old style lesson. The class were muttering now, a peaceful mutter that kept James' headache at bay for the moment. He even smiled when a ball of paper went crashing into the board behind him. "Nice shot, Alexis." he sighed. The culprit pouted, annoyed that she hadn't successfully annoyed the teacher. Her boyfriend giggled and held out his palm as Alexis forked over some money. James knew that if [I]he[/I] was one of those athletic, good looking teachers he'd have no trouble in class...no matter how much of an asshole he was. Shaking his head and running a hand through his shoulder length blue hair, Mr. Archer set about writing the first class' task on the board. [COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=2][FONT=Book Antiqua]*looks at the title and shudders* Well, I haven't drawn for such a long time I was scared that I had lost what 'talent?, if you can call it that, I had before O_o;; Anyways, these are just a couple of pictures that I've done in the last couple of days and I'm pretty proud of both of them. The first one is a fanart of Mousse, from Ranma 1/2. Now I know [I]he[/I] looks a lot like a girl, but that is unfortunately what my style does to him -.-;; I'm quite happy with how the picture came out though, especially his hand. The second one is my own character, his name is Imric Kagushi and I think this is the best picture I've ever drawn of him. I know Kazuya Mineruka done the same theme with her Saiyuki boys, but I didn't use any of those pics as a reference, just inspiration! I know it's only the line art; I'm still busy with the colour version so that will probably be up tomorrow. I just wish I knew how to CG...even better, I wish I could afford Photoshop! Anyways, I'm not expecting praise, but constructive comments and the like are much appreciated, I really want to get better.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

I knew straight away that it was supposed to portray bad feelings or something scary just at first glance. Despite the fact that you've got quite a few things filling the space, it still looks clean and simple. You can probably tell by now that I think it looks great, the one thing I would say is, but this is just me, the border seems a bit too thick. But that's just my personal tastes; others will probably think it looks great. All in all, this is a 9/10 for me, really well done ^_^[/COLOR][/FONT][/SIZE]

They put my little PaintMS banners to shame -.-;; I guess I'm lucky to have Gav as a friend so he can make me pretty banners... The thing I like the most about your banners is...the fact that a lot of them are from Kill Bill. You see, my mum thinks I'm too young to watch it, so looking at your banners at least gives me some idea of what the movie is like XD;; No, seriously now. Something I've always liked about your banners is the little 'J' icon. That and I get ticked off veeeery easily. The most annoying by far though is defiantly my 'friend', Joe. He is the type who wants to annoy you. Who will go to the very ends to annoy you. AND he's very, very good at it. Unfortunately, I'm his prime target at the moment since he?s cottoned on that I am indeed the person with the shortest fuse in our group. While I might not blow up in his face, I will remain twitchy for the rest of the day if he has successfully broken down my barriers before break time. There isn't just one thing he'll do either, usually he twist my sentences around and make me sound like a moron or he'll take the....pee....out of one of my interests...oh I could go on all day but you do not want to hear that -.-;; The second my annoying would be one of the people that I have recently started calling a friend. Her name is Caitlin (name and shame) and she seems to have somewhat of an obsession with me. She even admitted, quite openly, that she has a crush on me. Now, if I was a guy, which those of you who don't know me are thinking, I wouldn't have a problem....but since I'm a girl.... I don't have a problem with bi or gay people, not at all, but it's the way she goes about things that worries me. Especially since she knows that I'm straight. She calls me 'Her Jamie' and clings to my arms or makes a point of staring in the general chest are. She even kissed in class once, much to my shock. And after all that, as if it wasn't obvious that she had even the smallest crush on me, when she finds out that I officially know, she starts to blush and acts all sweet. *sigh* I would go on but I have to get to school, don't be surprised if I add more to this thread later....[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

Kaira laughed slightly and stood up, closing her laptop, "I was writing to my family...there is quite a lot of us." she laughed again and Jose nodded; now he really thought that this woman didn't belong here. She let out another scream; the doctors winced but continued to fuss around her, not even able to find out what was wrong with the girl. Imogen again felt a wave of cold come over her and then it all seemed to stop suddenly. A single drop of blood dripped from her pale chin onto her crimson stained hospital gown and she sat, panting slightly from her exertions. The doctors all stood in shock, wondering what the hell was going on with this kid when they heard an argument outside. "I have to see that girl, she is very important! Do you know who I am?" Imogen didn't recognise the voice but for some reason, an image from that man appeared in her head. She gasped and clamped a sweaty palm over her mouth. The security guards argued with the man outside, "I don't care if you?re God, mister, the doctors are busy!" One of the doctors shook his head as he regained some sense and he walked to the door, believing the man outside to be a relative pf his patient. He pulled open the metal door and nodded to the security guard, "She seems to be okay now, let him see her." The pain in her head was immeasurable and she swore her skull was about to burst, a whimper of pain seeped from her dry lips and she curled up on the bed, only to be pulled out flat by the paramedics. They unbuttoned her blouse and checked her heart rate, blood pressure and pulse, hooking her up to a life support machine. Imogen winced and looked back just as the doors were closing, she noticed a man. There was something about him that chilled Imogen to the core, she shivered and then balked, spraying blood and bile all over the doctor in front of her. She gasped and clawed at her throat, coughing and splattering blood across the clean, white sides of the ambulance. The medics stared and tried to help her, shouting at the driver to put his foot down. All the world became a haze of crimson and nausea as Imogen felt her whole body quake with another wave of pain, thrashing her insides and making her lurch forwards in another spasm of torture. Blood begun to trickle from her nose as she coughed more, her palms beginning to fill with red, sticky fluid. All the medics could do was stand back and watch, it seemed that when they tried to help, the girls body would just be overcome again with pain and she'd throw up her defences, making helping her a near impossible task. The driver stamped on the accelerator, grinding the engine to its limits. In a few more minutes the ambulance had skidded into the hospital car park, its sirens still blaring. The doctors rushed out and helped with the stretcher.... all of it became too much for Imogen and she once again slipped into black.[/COLOR] OOC :eek: That's the first time I've written something like that....[/FONT][/SIZE]

Something else to add about Ranma 1/2 is the OAVs. I've got two of them, number one and number two and I have to say, the animation really progresses between the two. In Trouble in Nekonran China, the first Movie, the animation is pretty good but lacks something. However in the second movie, Nihao my Concubine, the animation has progressed so much and it's a really enjoyable movie to watch. I think the good thing about the series being, what is it, 7 seasons long? Is that viewers get to see 1. The progress in animation 2. More character development than in usual anime series. Okay, I'm hoping that my post actually made sense....I was slightly hyper when I wrote it.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

When she looked across the street she noticed that boy from a few night ago, him and another woman collided on the pavement. Images of black and blood, screaming and torture flashed through the teen's mind. Although he showed to be very intelligent form a young age, he didn't put any of it to use. All the boy would do was sit at his computer or draw. He never even played sport like a normal young boy...heck, he didn't [I]know[/I] how to play soccer. When James was 16, his parents took him to one of the biggest art galleries in Tokyo, it was from there that he gained his love for the arts and when he started University, he studied to0 be an Art Teacher. Although, he is qualified to sub science lessons if need be. He's had a relatively normal life aside from the bullying and it's because of that that he can easily sympathise with other kids at school who are getting bullied. If anyone has any trouble with another student they usually come to James because he is reliable and a good person to talk to. [B]Personality:[/B] James is a pretty easygoing teacher; he's thought to be one of the nicest in school, mainly because he doesn't give out homework very often. Most kids respect him and listen to his instructions, making Art lessons something to look forward. Although, there are always the few who won't listen to any teacher and when this happens, James is usually at a loss. There have been times when he's just had to leave the room to find another teacher to take care of his problems, despite that, he is still respected by the majority. It's a drawing done straight onto the computer without scanning it and colouring it graphically. The word also means 'doodle' in Japanese I believe...but anyways. I can understand where your coming from about the details though, sheesh, I would have totally given up on that picture! Even if you got lazy, this picture is still brilliant, the expression you gave him is perfect and really reminds me of sweet Edward ^_^[/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE]

[FONT=Book Antiqua][SIZE=2][COLOR=DarkSlateGray]I really like the idea of this, but when you say drawing out the RPGs, do you mean on the spot (ie Oekaki) or actually drawing it by hand, scanning and then sending in the pictures. Whereas I may be a decent artist on paper, it becomes extremely difficult to draw on the computer, obviously because I can only draw with a mouse. So, either way, this is an excelent idea and I'm sure a lot of people would be very enthusiastic about it.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]
