When the song finished Imi was panting and Lance laughed, "You?re not tired are you?" he hadn?t even broken a sweat, "Come on, let's get some fresh air." "Sure thing." Imi stumbled a bit, her legs felt like jelly, Lance put a hand on her waist and guided her out of the hall. Imi didn?t know why but she didn?t want to stop him, she kept thinking of Katie but something else was there. 'I?ve changed,' she thought, 'People want me.' The two walked onto the roof chatting away happily, but then Imi saw Clover, "Clover, what happened?" she shouted as she ran to her friend, Lance followed close behind. [COLOR=SlateGray]I've read 5 of these novels (the others haven't come out over here yet :mad: ) and I think it's brilliant series. It's full of laughs and as it goes on the fights just get better. I haven't seen the series but for some reason I just can't see it working, it seems that RBHS would just work better in manga form. I won't spoil anything for you but I suggest you keep on getting it, it just gets better.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=SlateGray]Well, like James said, there is no real way of telling, unless you find out every RPG that they have been in and see how they participated. When I start an RPG I ask for dedicated people, but people sign up anyways and there isn?t much you can do once the RPG has started. For example, I started an RP called Animus, I though it was a good idea and so did a couple of others but some people that signed up didn't even post their introductory post and dropped out straight away, it really annoys me when people do that but, like I said, there's no way of telling before hand. Another thing is, people seem to loose interest if the story goes too quickly. In one of my RPs we had nearly finished were literally about 10 posts away from the end, and that's with about 7 characters. I said that I wanted to finish it but no one could be bothered and it never finished :( sad stuff. I think, if you seriously want people to be dedicated, then ask them for a link to a previous RPG in their sign up, that way you can check how much they posted. *shrugs* but that could be taking it a bit too far.[/COLOR]

'Butterfly' is my favourite so far, angst poems are my favourite and I think this one is absolutely beautiful. [COLOR=SlateGray]Well, I seem to have a rep for being good with romances @.@ (How'd that happen?)....but my comedy?! *watches a blimp crash....and burn* Seriously, I do enjoy participating in comedy Role-plays but when it comes to creating one I just can't seem to do it. So this thread is for advice on those type of role-plays. Those masters of comedy out there, [B]what kind of things make for a good funny storyline[/B], one that starts off funny and stays funny, or even better, gets funnier. My brain doesn?t seem to be able to grasp the concept of 'funny' and stops moving when it reaches ?sarcasm? so any tips would be good. I remember reading through Apartment Block C and that was funny as, even though I wasn?t a part of it, it sure did make me giggle. [COLOR=SlateGray]Heh, at your service. What I think makes a good Romance is a problem that causes two people in love [I]not[/I] to be able to romance @.@ That sounds confusing, let me explain. It's like Romeo and Juliette, two people are very much in love but they can't have each other, still they try to get together and that just brings them closer. Of course, this would then involve action, fights etc. so it makes for a good plot line. Another thing is one-sided love or a love/ hate relationship. A fight for love from an unwilling person to me is very romantic, it also draws the roleplay out and makes for good characters and conversations. You?re right about MUL, it's strayed from the line of romantic now and I think that's not because of the storyline but because of the way people are posting. The characters are focusing too much on the violence and the *ahem, you know what* rather than the romantic side which was the whole point of the RP. I think at the stage we are now at, you should try and increase the romance a bit, maybe leave Emily out for a while just so the characters can connect better, of course it?s just a suggestion and I?ll help if you want ^_^ Back with the good romances, it's also down to what people find romantic, what I said above is what I think is a romantic storyline but other may find plushies and chocolates romantic, you just don?t know. ^^; I hope I helped in some way, shape or form, 'tis good to know that my romances are appreciated (I'm working on one right now, actually hehe, hint hint ;) )[/COLOR]

I also like the eyes and the expression. The one this I have to say though, and it isn?t really crit on the picture itself, you should concentrate on not smudging when using pencil. I myself use just plain pencil for drawings a lot and it gets annoying when the picture is smudged, just clean that up and the picture will look more professional. [B]Number two:[/B] The position of the head is good on this one, it really works for the picture and you pulled it off well. Her expression is nice and it gives me the impression that she is helping someone up off the floor for some reason ^^; Again, smudgy, makes it look very unprofessional, but that's the only thing All in all, very good pictures, well done[/COLOR]

Nanashi started the ritual again; he glowed and lifted his hand. I think what makes an RP last is, above all, an intriguing and original storyline....one that stands out from others going around. Of course, the people who sign up are also important on keeping it alive, if they don?t post then it?s not going to get anywhere (quite obvious, really) What makes people want to join an RP? Hmm, I guess everyone has their reasons, for me, I usually enjoy RPs that involve magic and more mystical things, stuff that you can?t do in a modern world. I also love romance, but that really is just me. I think also with regards to entertainment, people that sign up should put a lot of effort into their sign up and make their characters original, now there seems to be too many [B]'Really serious, hates everyone, wants to be left alone'[/B] characters. I admit I do have that for one character in particular but I alternate between happy and depressed >.>; Um...I can't think of anything else now, but this thread should be interesting to read and probably helpful for new Rpers who haven?t settled yet.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]Imi was walking around the mall with a stick of strawberry pocky in her mouth. Her mum had given her 300 dollars to but some now clothes and treat herself. She walked past the hair dressers and then did a double take, 'Hair extensions, half price for this week only' Imi jumped at the chance and ran in. The hairdresser smiled at her and Imi explained what she wanted doing, the woman sat her down and began stage one of the transformation. About 30 minutes later Imi walked out of the hairdressers with long red hair down to the middle of her back, she had never felt so great. She flicked her new hair and smiled happily, she even noticed a couple of boys looking at her. She waved and smiled back and they returned the greeting. 'Next stop, beauty parlour.' Imi walked over to a nail and beauty shop, she had her nails done and asked the lady to show her how to put makeup on. Her nails were long now, she had never chewed them before but she couldn?t stand the thought of having them too long...but now. They were painted a dark red colour, to go with the dress that Imi was hoping to get, she had also had makeup put on, all based around the theme of red. For once on her life, her lips looked kissable. The last stop was clothes shopping, she knew that Katie and Steven would be here and she hoped that she wouldn?t meet them....yet. The last shop Imi reached sold all kinds of women's clothing and prom dresses. She sighed and walked in, looking very out of place with her hair and nails and boys clothing. I shop assistant walked over to her, "I suppose you would like a prom dress?" she said, smiling. Imi nodded, "And a whole new wardrobe." She picked out a dark red dress the was tight fitting at the top and puffed out when it got to her waist (like Cinderella?s), it was sleeveless but long gloves came with that reached most of the way up the arm. The neck was very low and would show a bit of cleavage on any normal girl...but on Imi, "I need a pusher bra." she stated as she twirled in the dress, "I adore this but to be frank, I need boobs." she laughed, as did the shop assistant and she went off to find what Imi wanted. In the mean time Imi started trying on other clothes that she had picked out previously, she decided to wear a black denim mini skirt and a white tank top with Hello Kitty on it out of the shop. She had also chosen knee high boots with no heel and she was surprised to see how good she actually looked in her new outfit. When the assistant came back Imi thanked her and paid for her clothes, the only thing she wanted to do was buy some new underwear, but she?d get Katie to help her with that. Imi walked out and saw Katie and Steven, she didn?t wave or anything, she just walked up behind Katie and gave her a hug, waiting to see what her reaction would be.[/COLOR]
