1. I have a very different method of doing things than KW: That being, I hate tutorials with a passion and have never in my life used one. No offence to KW, I've seen you develop so much recently, so don't take what I say next to heart, yeah? Tutorials mean you are simply doing what another person has already created. Now, there is nothing wrong with looking at elements of another persons art and using it in your own. There have been times when I've seen sakurasuka or Delta do something magnificent and have then adapted it to my style. I think the main thing you need to do is not worry about whether or not something will look messy or gross. Slap on layers and layers of textures and brushes, play with filters and with different pallets. The banners you see the likes of KW doing are the products of many failed attempts which you won't see. I don't think it's possible to sit there and learn how to do it. You just have be patient and work it out yourself.
2. Albrecht had only just got his head around a dead body being in the corner with a rather frightening, if cliché, message scrawled on the wall. He was suddenly being tugged along by Cammy, obviously oblivious to everyone after that frustrating woman had been yelling at him. The group were going to find LeCrosse and Darius, and now Mugen and Xavier were well ahead of him. The German cleared his head with a shake and tapped the visor of his cap with a warm smile. "Sank you, my dear, I vasn't concentrating." "I noticed..." Cammy said softly, her skin still pale but her legs seemingly steady. Albrecht noticed her hand on his arm was also steady and was quite impressed at how she held her nerve. He was just about to speak when LeCrosse threw a ticket stand at a police officer. "Ack, mein Gott!" he yelled thickly, sprinting after the obviously insane Cajun, "Do you av no...no subtlety?" he asked harshly, yelling over the thunder of gunshots. He reached out behind him to grab Cammy's hand and tug her along, his longer legs carrying him a lot faster. "Come on, my dear, I think zat ve should make a hasty exit." He watched as an illusion of LeCrosse dropped dead next to him, the real LeCrosse, Xavier and a few others ducking into a side street. He pushed Cammy forward in the same direction and slowed down a little, splitting into four as soon as his feet stopped. His clones whirled around to attack the stunned police officers, providing at least a momentary break for the magicians to make their hasty, if noticeable, escape.
3. I was hoping it would be me, as no one else deserved to go. Well done everyone for all the hard work you put in, I'll be rooting for you guys until the end! Let's hope one of you comes out tops.
4.
Oh crap... I can't believe that I actually got it, haha! But I am wondering... who's descision was it to make me a latino gangster? Regardless, it awesome, haha.
It's because you are a latino gangster! Dur, don't even lie Mike. I've seen your pictures. I demand to know why the Secret Staff Yaoi Lounge doesn't have actual yaoi on it! Where's the fun?! But seriously, congrats to all the winners and to Shy, of course, for carrying this off with such grace and ease. It's been a very good year~
5. Albrecht was sat near Cammy's tail end, happy to have volunteered for the position seeing as he wasn't bothered by heights. He was just...trying not to think about what was happening. Crazy shit happened around him all the time, and this was crazy shit that wasn't trying to kill him. Just yet, anyway. Besides, it was nice to feel the wind in his hair. "Um, Mugen~?" he shouted, sounding far too jovial for the other travellers likes, "My bags, I had to leave zem behind. I do hope zat you realise I'm going to charge you for everyzing zat vas in der, ja?" Mugen visibly winced and turned his face away from the eager German, bringing one hand up to pinch the bridge of his nose. "Just make sure you don't fall off, eh? Albrecht?" "Ja, ja, zat vould be un very bad idea indeed." He just grinned and took in the sights, one hand clutching at Cammy's soft feathers while the other rested on top of his hat. He liked this cap, despite its threatening appearance, and he didn't want to lose it any time soon. He spotted Xavier, who was near to Cammy's head, leaning down to whisper something to her. She nodded and appeared to start descending, the gigantic forms of the surrounding buildings getting closer and closer to the group. Albrecht glanced down to ground level where he could now see properly the features of people below, leaning forward over Amelia's shoulder, who was seated in front of him. Pressing his chest against her back he managed to keep himself steady, using the hand previously holding onto Cammy to produce a black, velvety rose. He passed it to the gothic looking woman, leering only slightly. "I'm so pleased to be travelling with a voman such as you, liebschen. I do hope zat ve get to know more about each other.? OOC Because we need at least one pervert. :3 Left it kinda open-ended because I don?t know what is planned to happen next when we land.
6. My reaction to this latest development was something akin to 'Guh guh guh?'
I don't think it's Kaien, personally, I'm going down the shapeshifter route. But what Raiyuu said about the removeable mask does make it seem as though he's a Vaizard. Hmm, I can't wait to find out. >< I'm also really sad about what's happened to Chad, but I'll be even more depressed if Noitora gets taken out this early due to his actions. I love that creepy Espada too much for my own good.

7. I also prefer the first background, I think it has more of an adventure feel to it than the others. Also, guys, I feel really lame about not helping on this one. College has eaten up so much of my time I haven't been able to sit and write things. I'm really sorry ):.
8. [STRIKE]I can do this for you by tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I've used that pic in a banner before, so I can work with it if you like. I'm about to have dinner now, though, but I'll get it done ASAP~![/STRIKE] Looks like I have time afterall! Lawl, I got really into making a banner and then realised you only wanted an avatar. That'll teach me to read the brief! Since you gave such a wonderful simple recquest, I've made a batch for you to choose from. I notice sometimes, though, that you have compressed images as your avatar. So I'm attaching all the images through OB so you can use that link directly to use the avi, mmkay? No ugly JPEG compression then.
9. Albrecht was already on his way to the airport when his cell phone informed him he had voicemail. Seeing as he never settled anywhere he didn't actually own a phone OR a computer, and only a select few had his private number. He rested one elbow on his suitcase and flipped open his cell, raising his eyebrows at the name left. He pressed the phone to his ear and heard Mugen's voice for the first time in what seemed like an age. He sounded rushed and panicky, and Albrecht could tell instantly that his fellow magician had experienced the same frightening encounter as he had earlier that day. He had planned on fleeing back to Germany, still unsure about what the strange man had wanted with him, but he supposed a trip to New York wouldn't be too detrimental, especially if he was with someone. He imagined he'd be able to get there in just over two hours if he got the first flight possible, and as soon as he was able he was seated in first class on his way to the Big Apple. The flight passed quiet quickly and Albrecht had listened to Mugen's message about ten times during the journey, trying to work out what was going on. It was becoming apparent that he hadn't been targeted because of his past...activities, but more so due to his powers. For some reason that made him feel more at ease, because dealing with the occult was something he was far more comfortable with. He didn't even bother to find a hotel when he arrived in New York and took the first taxi he could to Central Park, causing a great frustration to those out walking with his two large suitcases and rucksack slung over a shoulder. He spotted the back of Mugen's head and whistled, speeding up a little as the younger man turned to look at him, a brief moment of confusion passing his eyes before he recognised Albrecht for who he was. "Albert, right?" "Albrecht, if you please. Albert sounds so...so English." Mugen smiled only slightly and helped the German push one of his bags over to the side so he could sit down on the bench, relaxing back with his hands behind his head. "So I am ze first to arrive, ja? Let us hope ze others do not have to travel too far." "Amen, brother." was all Mugen said as he continued peering out through the crowd, Albrecht glancing at him only briefly before doing the same.
10. While I agree with what you've said for the most part, Miss Kathy, I really don't think we should go for a modern angle on this. Fantastic Adventure just doesn't seem modern and putting this in that setting would take away from the fantasy element. I was thinking that, if we go with the ideas Allamorph laid out, we could have something like this:
Shy and Zeke are two down-on-their-luck heroes for hire, who haven't really had a great amount of money for a long time. One day, whilst drowning their sorrows in a local tavern, they hear an eccentric man talking of the wonders of the Golden Fleece, which has magical porperties and will make any man who finds it rich beyond his wildest dreams! This man wants bodyguards who will get a share in the glory. Zeke, ever the chancer, drags Shy over to this oddball of a man (Allamorph) and begs him to tell them more. He's pleased that someone is finally listening to him, even if they are a couple of washout heroes, and so he decides to hire them as his guards and the trio set off to wise Mother, she who knows all.
And from then on we could have a boat journey to a lost island, with Mother and her assistant kalon tagging along (just throwing ideas around) and we can have battles with ogres and skeletons before finding the fleece and becoming rich and famous! Or die. Like I say, these are just ideas, but I'm getting twitchy about the fact that we've only got a few days left and we don't have anything substantial to work a screenplay from.
11. Lawl. I read through this after I woke up and then was sidetracked by the day's events. Woe. I must be moving up in the world to be part of the main cast of one of your stories! I remember the days when I would be envious of those who were featured. =D This is really quite hilarious, DW. I especially liked the conversation between Kazuko and Witchy-Zeke before she nuked his soul. That was pretty classy. Also, the addition of drawings is great, as always, and I want to marry Captain White ;D.
12. Hay u guyz, stop spamming tha thread lolz!!1!
The crowd roared in applause, white down feathers still littering the waxed stage where a flock of doves had seemingly exploded from nowhere. The man in green bowed, his top hat resting between two delicate fingers as his arm stretched out toward his audience, blonde hair tousled and flat from many years of wearing a hat seemed to sparkle in the stage lights. He was proud tonight, it had been a good crowd, but then again these Americans always were fascinated by magic and a good showman. He grinned in a way that most would say was manic, if it weren't for him being a performer. The smile stretched and hid his bottom teeth from view, violet eyes (surely contacts) winking with glee and mischief. "Sank you, all!" he called, his German accent obvious despite his time away from his homeland. "I do hope zat I'll see you at ze after party!" With that he edged off stage, backwards, still in his bow. That was his way, and they loved him for it. A servant to entertainment and to the people, for the most part anyway. His dressing room was small, seeming crowded due to the overly sized sofa and gold-framed mirror that covered a wall all by itself. The performer threw his hat onto his desk, running a white-gloved hand through his hair before reaching for his silky, purple tie, throwing that down to join his hat. As he undressed, he watched cards and ribbons fall from his sleeves and shirt, stray coins tinkling pleasantly on the wooden floor. He smiled at the sight of one of them rolling away, closing his eyes briefly before looking into them across the room. His clone picked the coin up and flicked it, catching it before rolling it across his knuckles with practised ease. He grinned and watched as the coin disappeared into an identical sleeve, tossing his own jacket over one shoulder. "You have people to impress, Albrecht, I don't think you should keep zem vaiting." "Ja, Hexenmeister, I shall do my very best." Each magician grinned and inclined their heads, the real Albrecht quickly getting changed into his 'normal' clothes, those being a pair of dark, slim-fit jeans and a leather jacket, as well as a controversial Nazi cap. He packed his props and suit away, folding it into a briefcase before he snuck out of his room and out of the building. He had only been walking for ten minutes before he sensed danger behind him, the clicking of expensive sounding shooes over the pavement coming to an abrupt halt when Albracht slowed down to look over his shoulder. He spotted a man in a menacing looking suit, a frown on his old and serious face. "Albrecht Himmler, age 30, ex-member of the Neo-Nazi party of Germany. Am I correct?" Albrecht frowned and turned around fully, his top teeth bared once again in something akin to a snarl. "Ja." he stated simply, his grip on the handle of his briefcase tightening. The man in the suit smiled and stepped forward, offering his hand as if to shake, "I think we should have a chat, you and I. I know a lot about you." "It vouldn't surprise me, sir. You see I am on a lot of peoples black lists." the magician took a step backward, noticing the mouth of a very inviting alley not far behind him. He closed his eyes and tossed his briefcase at the man in front of him, knowing everything in there was repalceable, and three of him were sprinting away at a full sprint. He heard a gunshot ring out as he dipped into the alley mouth, replicating himself once again to throw the 'agent' off course. Another bullet deflected from a wall near his head, causing the German to hiss out a gutteral curse in his mother tongue. The agent ran after him but seemed to be running out of steam, constantly firing off shots between loud shouts for Albrecht to stop. 'I don't think so.' he smirked, winking at one of his clones before he vaulted over a bent fence, making full use of his long legs and lanky 6'2'' frame to easily clear the obstacle, It wasn't much longer before the agent gave up and slumped against a wall, Albrecht's clones only dissapearing when he was safely at home and packing his bags for the next plane out.
--- Afsk, so late oooon. >_< To clarify (as if it wasn't obvious enough): Albrecht can pretty much make indefinite amounts of clones of himself, much like Naruto's Kagebunshin no Jutsu. He uses them mostly so that he can take a break, because unlike him, the clones don't really tire out. Though they will disappear if injured and Albrecht gets more strained the more clones he creates. He's also a fantastic magician by profession, and German no less! Full title-Albrecht die Hexenmeister (Albert the Magician). Edit: Lulz, I wondered why mine was so short compared to everyone elses. Added the encounter, and I hope it's okay to add some mystery to his past with all the Nazi stuff. I'm sure it gives everyone a good idea of the kind of person he is.
13. I quite like that casting (but, you know, I would  ) as it actually suits the kind of positions we have as members already. If we could do a sort of retelling of Jason and the Argonauts that would be really fantastic. Unfortunately, I have no idea about writing screenplays as Sandy's link is the first time I've even seen one, but I think I could work well on the story itself. It might be good to have a basic outline of plot written properly (as in fulll paragraphs) and then adapting it to how it would work on screen. Like a movie from a novel. I could work on graphics or a fancy background, too, if anyone wants. =D
14. I feel lame now because I've only just got home from school and I didn't do anything to help. ): Thanks so much for doing that though, Kathy (it really does feel odd saying that). You're an excellent leader.
15. Right, so given the new challenge I suggest we split the threads evenly across the whole team, post all the thread names we collect here and then everyone can see how we do with coming up for the 'spectacular name'. Sound alright? If there's 96 pages and four of us, we can each have about 25 pages. I'll start from the very last few as soon as I get home from college.
16.
Oh, alright then. That's good because I thought I was going to win by default. >:^D[/FONT']
Oi, oi, oi...I took mine about an hour before I posted it, you jerk D
17. Yay, I was hoping I could at least be some kind of reluctant help to you.
18. *salutes* Ready and willing to help out if you need my services, s'ah. I'll make sure I find the time no matter what to help you out with this and get everything done on time. College work can wait.
19. You can't see it, but there was actually a crocodile in that canal. Fo' realz. >> If you could combine two animals, what would they be, and why? A sheep an a cheetah. Purely because the hilarity of a sheep running at 110 km an hour is too good to pass up. Also, I like sheep. And cheetah. If you had to film an action movie, what location in the world would you think would suit the most exciting action scene ever? Probably the Elephant's Eye [link], in South Africa. When I climbed up there as a kid it was awesome. The cave is really damp, and there's this well that has a myth about a improsoned queen and such surrounding it. Good fun, and would also be a good vantage point for explosions/jumping/falling etc. South Africa has got really good light for making films, too, so it would be a good set. Not to mention Table Mountain with its rediculous rotating, glass-bottomed cable car. The question is, how do you run your country's food situation following those guidelines? You simply act like a god in Black and White! If your people are nice and prosper and have babies, then you feed them with plentiful fish and grain. If they're lazy jerks and don't worship hard enough, then you don't give them food and sacrifice the ones who died of hunger instead. It's a good system. I love that game.
20. Something you need to watch out for is the amount of people you have. I started a BR roleplay about a year ago and only about 8 people signed up. Now, because of the way BR works, not all those people would be working together. Having no interraction and repetitively killing can get old fast and the RP may die out before it gets into full swing. I think the best way for you to make this work is to have a lot of twists and turns up your sleeves so people don't get bored. Well done, though, it'll be interesting to see how this goes.
21. I honestly thought we were in with a chance this round. To be honest, though our name wasn't as creative as we would have liked, I thought the flag was more interesting that just text. =/ But, there you go. We'll just do better next round. I'll keep to Team Flag in my sig even if I go this round, team spirit yes! (I also felt rotten about voting, because I didn't think anyone actually deserved to go.)
22. Yeah, as an English(wo)man, I'd have to agree with Will's complaint about the cockney. I would have much preferred you to say he had a 'notably British accent' or something similar rather than labelling him with a Jason Statham-like stereotype. I thought it was a good chapter, but not your best as you say. Though that doesn't mean is was bad, just not as 'action packed'. I'm also glad Gavin isn't dead, cuz he was a cool guy. Also looking forward to my entrance, hint hint. ^_~
23. Well, considering we hardly have any time left and I don't think I'll have time to make a new flag, I just made an edit to the second one by putting a black border around it like in the first flag. I prefer the second flag, but Kathy is our team leader and I'm happy with whatever she choses for us. The first one is pretty fun, if you remember that movie for all its hilarity. Flag:
24. You've got a point there, Shy. We've got enough time yet to come up with something creative and it will be very easy for me to make a couple of new flag designs. I quite liked the suggestion around being a family, even if 'The Family' was a little too...flat. I think it shows more than just picking a nice sounding name because we can tie it back to our team members.
25. I like the way you don't show mercy to any of your characters, Mike ^_^; Good lead up to what will, no doubt, be a very big ending to a fast-paced fight. I have but one qualm, at that's the shortness of your sentences. First person is great for thoughts, but sometimes your writing just seems stilted because I keep seeing a dot telling me to pause and breathe. I know thoughts can be seperate, but keep in mind they can also run on. You have a bit more flexibility here as far as your narrative goes so you should work with it. Other than that, good work as usual! I look forward to the next installment.
