Ok, go over to the left where it says 'edit signature'. Then click on the little box on top of where you type, if looks like hills with a sun on a yellow background and shoud say 'insert image' when you put your mouse over it. Just got finished reading the first vol of Tokyo Babylon and the 14 vol of X. After reading the first vol of Tokyo Babylon I was very glad it hadn't been published in English sooner regardless of how impaitently I've been waiting for it. I remember just a few years ago a translation this faithful wouldn't have been likely, with all the yaoi implications and Japanese culture references left in tact. Tokyopop definetly did an excellant job. Going from that to Viz's flipped rendering of X makes it seem the inferior conversion. But regardless, they're both such great stories and beautiful amazing art! I've loved X since I started reading it way back, loved the movie, loved the tv series. I can't wait for the next vols of both :love:

That does seem a little unfriendly, but meh, sorry for posting it regardless. Wish I could think of something else to make this thread into, but can't. Will just say bye then.

I've loved this series from way back. It's great to see it coming out in English. The are is gorgeous and the story is nice and gothic and odd. I can't wait to get to the later vols when I characters I really love are introduced, like Mikael and Raphael.
