What's the reason in trying, if you don't have any chances...
Hevn replied to a topic in General Discussion
There have been threads like this with more helpful replies to them. Here's one that might be of help. :) Online Relationships -
My most favorite bishounen would be Kadsuki Fuchoin from Get Backers. He looks like a girl and one would almost mistake her for one. He's very graceful when talking and even fighting. His string weapon adds up to his elegance. I like the fact that they look more feminine in female clothes than most female anime characters and how often they are mistaken for a girl in the anime themselves. Oh, and you use some extremely strong hair gel for your hair to stand up.

It's VILLAIN, people. A then I and not the other way around. ^_~ Anyway, I haven't seen much anime but I'm giving my vote to Shishio. His body was burnt all over and he was still a hard fight despite of it. If he was not in a bad medical condition, there's a possibility that Kenshin will lose.

"I have a bad feeling. That there is a presence around... my arse." *sweating* "Need... to... calm... down.. mmmmph!" Err..yeah. Bored and trying this for the first time. Oh, and I've never seen Bleach. >>;

That's Rudy! ^_^ That's actually a good work if you used MSPaint. I used it just for cropping images and do minor editing. That was before any other decent program came out. I can never work with shadings. Shame. :(

Those two front teeth are hideous! Kidding! They'd be IRL though. I actually adore them. The colors are so cute and that is indeed the cutest sneezing smiley ever *prods it*. I hope these can be added to the OB smilies. ^_^ I tired making an animated o_O smiley once but then I got tired of doing more. I'm afraid a smiley is not a smiley if it is a lone smiley. :(

I got mine from one of the characters in the anime Get Backers. It used to go like `'hEvN but that was really n00bish so I changed it after some time and went with plain Hevn. It's pronounced 'heaven'. ^_^

Anime Anime series that really need a sequel
Hevn replied to Darktigerpack17's topic in Otaku Central
I always thought Get Backers badly needs a sequel. It's not that the ending is bad or anything. It just made me screaming for more. There should also be a side story on Himiko and all those Last Children stuff. Another big mission on fighting the Gods of the Limitless Fortress and completely saving the whole city would probably satisfy me. -
It's easy to get in one but uber difficult to keep and maintain, especially if you're new to it. There'll be lots of longing and pining and if you're not strong enough, you won't survive it. I believe it takes a lot of courage, patience, and commitment to make it successful. I won't say it needs 'emotional attachment' but more of commitment. If you're not committed to it, then it's a waste of time. I agree that two people in an online relationship should have plans. Like, when you'll meet and finally be together. Constant communication is also important. If you're serious enough, you know there are other mediums of communication than chatting online.
Unfortunately, I read more on OB than I study!
Bad! Though, I used to do that a lot too when I was a newbie. :animeswea But, I don't have a lot of school works back then so just try to balance life and OB. Anyway, I joined last year but I was a lurker for a long time before that. I've been searching about anime on Google and kept clicking links to this board. It's my first online community and was happy of the quality of posting and stuff. You never get those in a lot of other forums.

I'm hoping I could get the re-released album of Say Anything and Alan for Christmas. :)

I always thought that free speech should also come with responsibilty. If you know you're going to cause trouble or insult someone when you say something, then just don't say it out of respect. Some people are ultra sensitive and I've known crimes that were done because of stupid words said. Just use your words wisely.

I got a pirated DVD copy and saw it yesterday. w00t! I'm definitely buying the original when it is released. I liked the movie. The plot is a bit meh, yes, but I still found the movie awesome and I couldn't care less because the great action scenes totally made up for it. It's packed with cool fight scenes. I agree that you literally would want to stop blinking for a few minutes just to see every move and stuff. It's that fast lol. I love the animation IMMENSELY. It's actually one of the reasons why I love the recent Final Fantasy games. I actually had to pause on some part just to admire the graphics lol. I actually didn't want to read the subtitles because I want to look at the graphics. Another thing I like about it is that you actually get to see a lot of stuff from the game like how they actually use materia, how they summon guardians, a close up of their Limit Breaks and stuff. It's just a good feeling to see and hear Final Fantasy VII again. ^_^ Anyway, I think I read it in this thread that the movie was not needed or the plot wasn't needed or something but I think otherwise. I think the movie at least gave the story of the game an ending.
The human imagination works in a funny way. If you went into a deep, dark, scarrrrey woods in the middle of the night and heard some noises and the like you'd probably think nothing of it. But if before hand your told by a lot of people (Like some of those TV Shows) or somthing like that that there are ghosts there definatly, those little noises aren't little noises anymore. The human imagination is a funny thing, it'll blow things out of preportion just because it wants to believe it's true - I know this doesn't apply to everyone but to a lot of people it does, and those are often the ones who speak out about ghosts. Othertimes it's just people making up stuff to get attention: who really knows. Imagine you were in a dark underground complex of some sort. You hear a sort of scrapeing sound but can't figure out where it's coming from - the walls distort the sound and it sounds kind of like a groan. Than lets say there's a window that lets in a little bit of light - this light reflects off of somthing and you catch it out of the corner of your eye at a difficult angle. Now your disconcerted. That noise again - but it's not the same noise, it's definatly a groan this time. You swallow hard. You start to run. Adreniline takes over - wait, what was that light; no time to explore now. You keep running and by now your scared out of your skin. Moral of the story? Simple things under certain enviroments can really change how they're percieved. Hey, maybe I'm making this up - maybe it's only an explination for some of the ghost sitings and maybe it explains all of them, I don't know. But it's how I like to think of it. BTW, if your religion believes in ghosts that's fine. What religion is it? I'm just curious because Pacific religions always intrested me but I never really got into them. Ah, just thought of somthing. If all ghosts are evil than why do two ghosts take care of your friends home?
As I said, there's no reason for the people I know who have seen them to lie to me. They don't need my attention or any special attention for that matter. Young people's imaginations are playful when it comes to bizarre things and I said not all people here are under 13 years old to believe a shining light and a sound equals a ghost. Anyway, I respect your opinion if you don't believe in ghosts. I'm not here to defend my opinion, nor my religion. I said in my post I'm not sure if I believe what my religion believes or not. It's a complicated and personal story and I'm not getting into it. Oh, and my friend don't share my faith so there's really no point in trying to find a loophole with what I said in my post.

Ilium, that's a funny way of thinking, you know. Not all people here are below 13 years of age to believe there's a ghost just by hearing a sound in a haunted house. Ghosts do exist. Although, I haven't seen one, a lot of people I know has seen them. They didn't have to lie to me for any reason so I believe them. One of my friends have two ghosts in their house whom they welcome because the ghosts take care of the house. In my religion (and I dunno if I believe it or not), ghosts are not the souls of the dead. They are demons pretending to be the souls of the dead. And they're evil no matter what form they take.

That's coolies. When I came here last year and a thread like this came up, I don't know of any other Filipinos. Anyway, yeah, Filipino. There should also be a bit of Spanish blood in there too. And Chinese. But the percentage is too small you won't see it. :p

I used to make sure I'm asleep before midnight. I have a hard time sleeping but even if I go to bed ten minutes before 12am, I'll sure be asleep before 12am. Creatures and stuff start to lurk at midnight.

Pepsi!!! Though I drink Coke all the time (cause it's like a SOP to buy one during occassions and stuff), I choose Pepsi. Coke is too sweet for me. I don't like the taste of Sprite. Pepsi is just perfect. Mountain Dew's alright. I like it cause it doesn't make my tummy big even if I drink it everyday lol. The red one is blegh, though.

Mmm... cybersex. What is its difference with phone sex, or a porn mag, or a lemony fanfic? I say absolutely nothing. They're all enjoyable, sometimes a fun deviation from normal, physical sex, and they all serve one purpose. I don't seen anything wrong or stupid or juvenile with it. But of course, the real thing is better, and it's stupid if you prefer it over the real thing lol.

Now we're going somewhere. lol I have to say the previous chapters made me a bit confuse about what's happening in the story. The way you did it, it's like there are short stories about Rita and Seth that I don't really know where it's going. Now I see the plot. The visitor really mystifies me, especially when she said 'With that, my debt has been repaid'. I'd like to know about her more. I love this chapter because it showed and explained a lot. *nods*

More! I love the dialogue and the action, yes. I also love the shineys! Somehow, I didn't feel the 'difficult to follow' thing. The mystery kept me interested all throughout the story. Really really good work. ^_~

I haven't seen Silence of the Lambs, but the other two movies, I saw. I've heard lots of good things about the first movie. I'm quite satisfied with Hannibal and Red Dragon. Great acting by great actors. You definitely shouldn't miss it. Red Dragon is more on detective stuff but still good. Also, I'm sure you can take the gory stuffers of Hannibal. You'll love the ending either way. ^_~

I say, coincidence. It's lame to judge people by their names.

Writing Warning! This thread contains unmarked spoilers!: Harry Potter, Book 6.
Hevn replied to Sandy's topic in Creative Works
God ****, me and my curiosity. Quickly highlighted that last spoiler, Juke Box. Quick enough to know who the half blood prince is, haha. That's the second time I came across a major spoiler. I used to love this series, but the excitement waned out after some time. Maybe because I'm busy with stuff. I haven't even read OotP. But once I get my hands on the book, I'm sure I won't be able to put it down. This girl likes and enjoys Harry Potter very much, but not to the point of getting pissed off by spoilers and waiting hours at midnight for its release. Ahh, gah! Read properly through the spoiler again. Now I'm a bit pissed at myself. u_u Meh, I'll live. -
If you like that girl from Winter Sonata, you'll probably like Stairway to Heaven. I forgot to say she's the lead actress there too. On Rain from Full House: The first time I saw him I thought he's ugly. When I watched the series, I just want to pinch his cheeks. He's too cute. lol 100% Senorita is a nice series. One of the girls there was the villain girl from Summer Scent, I think, and she's paired with Wallace Huo(gorgeous) from the Dolphin Bay series. Then the other girl's from Senorita Mei Mei.
