1. Keyblade Wielder still rocks my socks. I must say I'm bad at forgetting to check up on the Art Studio as of late, but your most recent banners are simply lovely. The two Riku ones being my favorite, let me say that I love how you incorperated the different stocks. Also, you are getting simply superb in your choice of fonts, the secon one in particular. I'm pressed for time, so I'll just comment on my favorites, mkay? Mkay. Fool for Life- Fot the life of me I can't figure out who that is. Anywho. I'm inpressed with anyone who can properly fade the banner into OB's background. Awesomeness. Everything flows. It seems a bit different in terms of style, though. Still good, though, it's awesome. Card Captor Sakura- Awe, I'm in love with the image and the color scheme. The low-opacity scanlines do wonders for this banner. Hayate- Awe, I know what you mean =( Yeah, this would be a favorite except... Well... It does look too much like Zeke's style, what with the butterflies and such. But other than that [and the slight over-sharpenization of Hayate], it's amazing. Overall, awesome. Still a fangirl for life.
 2.
I don't have Photoshop or anything like that so I ahve to make due with Photoimpact, which is similar yet far less advanced *cry*
*Raises hand* I use PhotoImpact as well. Version 8.5. I also have PaintShopPro 6&8, though, so meh. I happen to love PI, but you're right, it has far less capabilities. I do, hovever, love the layer capabilies and setup for things like shading. But still, I might suggest something more along the lines of PSP or PS if you're looking to improve coloring. Anyways. There's not a whole lot to critique in terms of style. The coloring and shading is a bit wobbly on all of the pieces, but far less so on the last one, I'd say. Extremely impressive from a program that [depending upon the version] is only a step up from GIMP or MS Paint. Excellent, keep it up.
 3. My brother, hands down. I love that boy more than anyone. He's pretty much the reason I keep living. Yeah, that's right, I'm not cool like most of you people. I don't really have many/any friends. Me and my brother get along awesome. Most of the time. And I can tell him anything, except things about relationships with guys, of course. And he can tell me anything, as well. We're rather sheltered, and quite isolated, seeing as we homeschool and do little else. Well, I work. But we have nearly no social interaction besides internet games like Maple Story and Warcraft. But meh. The next would probably be my mother. She really does her very best with us. Even though they don't exactly let us go anywhere with peers. Meh.
 4. I completely and totally agree with Retribution. I'm as much of a book-lover as anyone else here, but after I finish picking out some random books and things for research, I always used to check my myspace mail, my email, and Otakuboards on the computers. Mainly because I didn't have a working computer at the time. Actually, right now, I'm using my mother's computer. My new one should get here today :D Anyways. The point is, libraries are public places. I can understand why to block such sites in schools, but I mean, c'mon. Let's be serious.
 5. Okay. My anime dreamworld. I'd be all-powerful. Think Buu from DBZ. Only no other DBZ people to compete with me. I'd then continue to eradicate all human lifefroms, except Kurama. Yes, we'll save Kurama. And maybe Sephiroth, I need a wimpy-loser to pick on every once in a while. If not only to make me look cool. But we'd kill off all of those 'cutesy' anime characters. 'Secially the guys. Most definitely. Except Kurama. But yes, me and Kurama would live alone in peace for all eternity. With the exception of Sephiroth occasionally interupting, but eventually we'd sign a treaty that would grant him all of Turkey to rule over. And Spain. And he'd be happy. As would we. We'd invite him over for dinner, and exchange funny anecdotes and witty conversation, as we'd have little else to do. Ah yes, the strange world of nothingness that would arise. Oh look, I've made every singe anime fan on this site hate me in one post. Victory!
 6. Actually, for once in my life, I'd preffer normality. I suppose that's a word. Maybe not. I want friends. A life away from my computer and my job. I'd like to get away from homeschooling and isolation. I want to run away from it all, just for a little while. Maybe to a certain guy that has just recently peaqued my interest. Too bad I'm strictly not allowed to date, nor have any sort of male relations outside of work and freshman prep classes. Oh, well. One more year. Well, technically two. But who's counting?
 7.
That list doesn't mean that I would never date a non-virgin, any more than it means that I would exclusively date redheads or photographers. We are putting people into categories because, to us, there is a difference between them, and one side of the coin (or dice) is more attractive to us. That's the point of the thread.
True, but two or three who mentioned it put in lin bold and caps, like it would be like dating Lucifer himself to date someone who'd lost thier virginity. I wan't calling out everyone who mentioned it. That's all I was reffering to, that it was stated as if it WASN'T an exception, 'MUST B V1RG1N!!!111eleventy-one111' Whereas 'sweet', 'romantic', 'loves such-and-such-hobby', and anything about preffered personalities were put as a second thought, like if he was litterally THE guy for you and he wasn't a virgin, then he wouldn't even be considered. So I was just trying to get a reply out of one of those few people by asking them why it was so important. Other that the romantic notion of being each other's 'first time', I don't see the appeal.
 8.
First of all, it aint bad tri, whats been commented above is just a bunch of people whove lost their virginity trying to maintain respect for themselves and for each other (and i type this with as much respect as possible).
I'm assuming you're talking about meand The Boss. Maybe some other people. Well, Boss already spoke for himself, but I myself find that offensive that you would assume that of me. *Cough* I just so happen to be a virgin, just for your information. And if you weren't talking about me [which I doubt, but I digress], having sex doesn't make you a bad person. Losing your virginity isn't a bad thing. Hell, any of us could be 30 years old and married, then would having sex be a 'bad' thing? Nooo, of course not. It's a GOOD thing. It's all up to each person to decide for themselves how to go about thier sexual relationships.
Personally i view finding someone who could keep their virginity for a long time a find indeed. Like The Boss said, that really would be harder to find as you get older, and to me that makes the search all the more worthwile. And if your just looking for someone who's good in bed then thats sad, tho i think those were just idle comments. But yeah, if i wind up with nothing, i wouldnt mind taking someone whos already lost their virginity. And looks arent everything to me. If a girl just has the looks and not the skills, she's not worth it in my eyes. :animesigh
Yes, but why is keeping your virginity for a long time something that is so 'sacred'? Why something that should be 'searched for'? Why did you AUTOMATICALLY put virgins and non-virgins in categories, like 'If I wind up with nothing, I'd SETTLE for one' ? And just because you date someone who's lost thier virginity doesn't mean you're just looking for someone who's good in bed. But if you are planning on having a sexual relationship with someone, I do suppose it would be best if at least one knew what they were doing =/ Anywho. That's not the point. triblackfire, I'm assuming you're well under the age of eighteen... Having to ask if being a virgin is a good thing and all. Don't do it so young, would be my advice. Reluctancy is your concience and your HEART telling you that you're not ready yet. Intimacy is a good thing, but wait. Nothing could be worse than doing something too soon, something you're not ready for. Waiting is not a bad thing at all, it's a great thing. Some people choose to do so at a young age/until they get married, some people make the oposite decision. I just don't think people should judge on whether or not someone has had sex. That's simply obnoxious. Honestly.
 9. Okay, the virgin thing has come up more than once or twice. Now I'm really curious. Why does a guy have to be a virgin to be the 'perfect guy'? Nearly every girl has said that now, and I totally dissagree. Why would that be on your top 5/10/15 things that you NEED in a guy? Why? I really don't get it =/
 10. Gavin Brown [Dragon Warrior] rocks my socks. Too bad I didn't get to see him while I was in MI. PAche. You're still awesome, you sock-freak, you. I s'pose I'd like to meet some of the people from the Art Studio. Retri, KW, Stuart, White, Boo, and everyone else. If not only because I admire them so much. And Zeke. She kicked my butt in the HB!. So that means she must be awesome :D
 11. Well, I happen to be a human being in which there are no dominant emotions. Not saying I'm apathetic, no. I just tend to feel all things at different, apropriate times. It's all a fine web.
 12.
[...] Check. Your move.
Hah, xD Seriously though. Tu es muy caliente. Or something. I can't speak spanish to save my life.
Why do women choose such bad guys? Isn't it possible to realize that you are dating losers and, you know, STOP[/b']?
Because we're stupid. Really. Just like all you guys that date sluts and whores. Honestly.
 13.
Having been a virgin myself [...]
*Snickers uncontrollably* Anywho. It seems as though the majority of guys want more experienced girls, and the gals preffer virgins. Why? I surely wouldn't mind a guy that wasn't a virgin. Nor would it make any difference if he was. Just so long as he doesn't rush me, it's all good. Dunno. Lists bug me. I guess it's mostly because I'm extremely awkward, generally unsociable, I tend to speak my mind and rub people the wrong way, I'm not the prettiest or anything. And I'd never fit into any list. Ever. So why should I make a list just to alienate the guys who, like me, are tired of being alienated themselves? Y'know what I really want? I want a guy who lets me be myself. Makes me comfortable in my own skin. There you have it. That's all I want. Ugh. Easy in theory. But meh.
 14. I'm at an awkward stage. I have a very childish demeanor about me, I'd say. I'm nearly 16. I look 14. How I act depends upon where I am. At work, I'm forced to behave myself. In those instances, I've been mistaken for 17-19 by the majority. When I'm with my little brother or my only friend, I generally get asked if I'd like a kid's menu. So there you have it.
 15. Woho.
Rainbows. They make me smile. Giraffes. Your mom >:) Text Smileys. >:3) , [o: , >:P , 8). Kitties. So fluffy. Steven, Joshy, Mom, Daniel, and Juneau. They make life worth living. Citrus Orbit. Because it owns your face. 'Posers', if not only because they're funny to watch. Same goes for kids who dream of being famous rappers. Sarcasm, and the people who take it seriously. Scrabble. What fun is life without it?

 16. My perfect person? There is no 'perfect' person. But as for the person I can most see myself falling in love with... Why, I've already met him. He's not perfect. He's made mistakes. He's human. But y'know what? We all are. He's crazy and daring. He's sweet and extremely unique. He's the kind of guy that doesn't lie or cheat. He's wonderful, and I'd do anything for him. Too bad he doesn't feel the same about me. Ah, well.
 17.
Um can you answer my stupid questions? -Do you use painkillers when you cut yourselves? -Isn't it hot when you wear all black in the summer? -I thought emo people wanted to liek not conform to the system is that true? -Why are your emotions so extreme? -Uhh since all people have strong emotions at soem tiem does that make everyone at some point? -What do you call emo people who only wear emo clothes as a fashion statement? -Do emo people really listen to that yelling stuff? -Oh and how do you goth chicks look so hot(not temperature wise)? Please answer these question as they are actual questions that I really wan't an answer for.
1. You don't use painkillers. The pain is supposed to divert your attention away from your inner pain, and put the focus on the 'less-painful' physical one[s]. 2. I'm not 'emo' or 'goth', but black looks good on me. I wear it all year round. I'm fine, temerature-wise. 3. Common misconception. It's what alot of 'new emo' music is based around, so it's 'fad-ish' I suppose. 4. My emotions are extreme, so are most people's. It just is one of those things, like studded belts, that have been lumped into 'emo' while honestly having little-to-nothing to do with it. 5. See above. 6. Posers =D 7. I... Listen to screamo... Or are you talking about emo? Metal? Or what..? I'm not quite sure I understand you. 8. 'Gothic chicks' indeed tend to be quite good looking. As to why, I've no idea. That question may never be answered. Hope that helps.
 18. True, I most certainly do. Not as much as 80's rock and indie, but a definite third. The person below me is extremely emo. But they will say 'FALSE!' to cover up the emo-ness hidden inside. Just 'cause that's the emo way. Emo. =D
 19. My favorite band has been Green Day, nearly as long as I can remember. Really though, everyone has heard at least one song by them, so everyone has already formed thier own opinion. Though, most that don't know thier music very well and have only listen to the complete and utter crap that is American Idiot is really missing out, and I'd definitely recomend some of thier older albums. Though 'Saint Jimmy' and 'She's a Rebel' have thier moments. But basically that was the most emo-crap-tastic album I've ever heard. Even though they are my favorite band. I was completely dissapointed. Meh. Alrighty. I have also become quite fond that new song 'Face Down' by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Listen to it. Watch the music vidio. It's rather touching, and the singer isn't bad to look at. I like the new look Taking Back Sunday has recently adopted, but thier music has become rather blah lately. I still like 'Tell all Your Friends', though. But my current favorite band [save Green Day, of course] would have to be either Family Force 5 or the Spill Canvas. FF5 is awesome. 'Kountry Gentleman' is the most hillarious song ever. 'Replace me' is also quite catchy. Just listen to them sometime, you won't regret it. The Spill Canvas has some awesome lyrics. Just simply amazing. So yeah.
 20. Actually, true, I have taken different styles of martial arts since the age of 8. Mostly Tang Soo Do, and various other korean influenced styles. And many generic American fighting styles as well. I must say that the person below me thinks that Ray Bradbury is a genius.
 21. Alrighty. I do believe you missunderstand me.
If you never have conflict, if you always shy away from the disturbing or confrontational, nothing gets done. You live in a small box where everyone agrees and nothing changes.
Understand, an argument on a message board only causes confrontation. If someone were to actually do something about it, that's great. But what's argued about on OB isn't going to change anything. I was just saying that this sort of topic always go bad once some radical Christian or some offended person gets involved. The thread then gets closed. So why even bring it up again? It's been argued to death and niether side EVER EVER EVER budges. That's all I was saying. Not that we shouldn't confront issues, we most certainly should... But arguing here only causes hurt feelings, closed threads, and a possible banning, seeing as Gay Marriage and Abortion threads never seem to stay civil. Okay?
So let's not try to change it by urging tolerance and acceptance. It's just how it's going to be.

I agree with Retribution on this point. Taking a stance of that?s how it will always be would mean nothing changes or becomes better. You have to challenge the system to initiate change. And such challenges are likely to cause conflict of some sort.
Why is everyone so obsessed with some sort of radical change? You say you have to challenge the system to initiate change. Well, why can't you be civil about it? Or passive? Why must you be aggressive and obnoxious? Why does everyone want to change everyone else? I urge tolerance and acceptance, yes. I have come to realize that there will always be discrimination, but that's something I as a person can't change. I can't change someone else. I can only set an example. So that's what I do. Being 'in-your-face' isn't neccesary. Conflict is rarely neccesary. Just live your own life the best you can, and stop trying to make others see things how you do. You can't. People will always have opinions different than yours. Look, I'm bisexual, and quite honestly, I wouldn't care if I couldn't get married to the man/woman. If the government told me 'Y'know, you're not allowed to marry your girlfriend/boyfriend/fiance. Deal with it.' I'd probably just keep living with the person, keep loving them. Buy rings maybe. Have my own celebration, hell, even call it a 'wedding' if I wanted. I don't need anyone to tell me how to live me life. I don't need to have the church/state issue me a marriage licence to love and commit myself to someone, and I pity the people who do. Also, we all live, and we all die. Who the hell cares if you can't legally wed someone of your same sex and take on thier name? Once you're dead, you're dead. Yeah, we all deserve equal rights, but the system isn't perfect. We all get screwed over eventually. Either live with it, or go start a petition or something. Arguing here won't change it.
 22. Thank you, James. I haven't been on OB much in the past few weeks, so when I saw this thread, I was dumbfounded. Why would anyone want to bring up this subject again? Honestly. All it does is cause confrontation, up until the point someone says something out of line and it gets closed. And it'd be nice if everyone would stop bashing Gavin simply because he believes something different than you. He wasn't trying to force his beliefs on you, he was just saying that his beliefs do not condone homosexuality. That is fine. People will always look down on other people for what they think/believe/don't believe. People will always get obnoxious and out of line and bash homosexuals, or bomb abortion clinics. That's how it will always be. And from the other side, most people generalize Christians and bash them. Only when the two sides learn to cut it out will we ever get along. Onto the actual subject. Bush. Hm. I both love and hate the guy. I do not agree with his views on Gay Marriage. I don't really agree with much of his views on anything. I do, however, think he's done his best. I think this whole 'Ban on Gay Marriage' isn't right, it isn't fair, and all people should have the same right to commit themselves to another person. Marriage isn't about discrimination. It isn't about race or politics or personal gain or religion or age. It isn't about gender. Marriage is about making a lifelong commitment to the person you love.
