1. The definition of my life is simple. I take things as they come, day by day. The people are what defines me. My brother. You're my inspiration, my light, my everything. My cousin. We're like two sides of the same coin. You make me who I am. I would never be the same without you. My boyfriend. You're my hope, my laughter, my love Bad stuff may happen, but as long as you know that there's something important to you, you just keep living. Striving to be your best. That's what life is.
 2.
2. Carelessness - Most people my age don't care, and I wish I had noticed Derald's post eearlier so I could have said, here's a prime example.
First off, that's not carelessness, that's apathy. Secondly, you have a right to your opinion, he has a right to his. Personally? I think people who are completely apathetic are only so because they are in fact ignorant. I think that Derald, on the other hand, is merely stating that he's niether pessimistic nor has super high-hopes for the future, but whatever happens, he's prepared. He's ready. What happens in the world won't change his view of it. He'll remain himself, even if the world goes to pot. Stop attacking him, m'kay? [; My opinion differs only slightly from Derald's. I think that what people get out of life is only what they put in. I think being involved in politics, vollunteering, etc. is important, but it is up to every person how they choose to live thier life. If every person was content with thier lives, then there would be nothing to make the world a bad place. So essentially; Informed/optimistic/contented apathy > Sadness, or a pessimistic attitude. I'm semi-content, and I care to some degree, putting me smack-dab in the middle of the chart ;P To answer the original question of the thread, I believe that it will go on as most generations before ours. There will be new presidents. There will be new ideas. There will be new laws. There may even be a major was of our time, but as for the things that really matter, I think that everyone will just live thier lives like they always have. Our generation is not the be-all end-all.
 3.
... um ... damn, and I was hoping this would actually be a political thread. Didn't the bulleted list clear things up easily enough? Anyway, someone said to turn this into an everything political thread, I say sounds cool. We should start with 9/11 cuz it's got a movie coming out. I'll save my opinion for when I've seen some other people's feelings.
I agree 100%. But as a final note, if Papa Smurf says the name 'Ben Affleck' again I might kill myself ;P I really do look foreward to seeing Flight 93. I hope it turns out to be better than Pearl Harbor. I actually thought it was quite the tear-jerker, and extremely good how it portrayed the stories of the characters. The only turn-off the movie had on me was that it simply felt extremely forced. I think that it would have been much better if the focus wasn't on one love story--That isn't really the best way to pay tribute to those who lost thier lives. It's exactly like Titanic. Anywho, enough about movies, let's talk politics. Oh, and I have a question semi-related, what's up with FEMA? I heard on some news channel or something that there were thoughts of disbanding it somewhere down the road. Because of what happened in New Orleans, or did I just hear wrong...? I have no clue, by the time I actually started listening the story was over. Has anyone else heard wind of this? I dunno. It may be a good discussionary topic though, if it's true. Mhm.
 4.
Four men sat down to play, They played all night ?till break of day. They played for gold and not for fun With separate scores for everyone. When they came to square accounts, They all had made quite fair amounts. Can you the paradox explain, If no one lost, how could all gain?
Were the 'players' musicians...? That sorda makes sense >_< Alright, I have a riddle that I cannot figure out, and it's driving me insane. Am I allowed to post one even if I don't know the answer...?
 5. 'Married to Brookyln' was put in when OB marriages were popular. My best friend Josh just said 'Hey, let's get married on OB!' and I said 'Alright, lolzzzz!' and I just never took it out. My banner is sleek and simplistic, and isn't supposed to be bold or stand out in any way. It just is what it is. And Henry is a necessity. My signature is incomplete without him.
 6. Wow, I have to say, these are quite impressive. Sengir especially. I would love to know what program you used for these! Blush has very slightlyy skewed perportions, but nothing noticable really. Example- Her head is a bit too high off her shoulders. If you were to measure from her shoulders [Not the puffy part, her actual shoulders] to her chin, her neck would be much longer than an average person. Other than a few simple things like that, those are amazing. *High-fives* [:
 7. How would we know, we've never tasted those slushies ;P But I have to say Lemon-Lime would likely be my favorite, if I were to choose one. But I have to say I doubt this thread is going to stay open for much longer, unless anyone can think of actual conversation with those particular slushies >_> Heh.
 8.
#5 is the correct one. If you include the first statement as a statement. I am the most important portrait in the world. I am also green. What am I?
Correct you are, Mister Boss Man! I'm working on yours, I just seem to be having a little trouble. Hrm. I really do wish I wasn't so stupid, then maybe I could figure some of these out ;P
 9.
[B']After teaching his class all about roman numerals (X = 10, IX=9 and so on) the teacher asked his class to draw a single continuous line and turn IX into 6. The only stipulation the teacher made was that the pen could not be lifted from the paper until the line was complete. How could this be done?
How to make IX into six? easy! SIX. Right? An 'S' is a single continuous line! [: Edit- Exactly one of these numbered statements is true: 1. One of these statements is false. 2. Two of these statements are false. 3. Three of these statements are false. 4. Four of these statements are false. 5. Five of these statements are false. Which of the statements is true? Have fun, this one's easy [;
 10.
What won't break if you throw it off the highest building in the world, but will break if you place it in the ocean?
Gah, is it a tissue? I think so. There is a word in English Language in which the first two letters signify a male, the first 3 letters signify a female, the first 4 letters signify a great man, and the complete world a great woman, What is the word? Also- Can you translate the following in English? -- "YYURYYUBICURYY4ME"
 11.
Uhuh nooo yoiu neevr go, "why?" that's just stupid.
Why is asking a question 'stupid'? You never go 'why'? Why not? If she keeps changing the subject whenever you ask her out and you've known her for a while, then you should be confortable asking how she feels about you. You obviously aren't really that comfortable with her yet, or it would be no big deal. Really? You want an opinion? Be honest with her. Say 'Hey, we've been friends awhile, and I really like you, blahblahblah.' See if she feels the same way. If she still side-steps it, then she more than likely doesn't like you back in the same way. DON'T just keep asking her out on dates! If she doesn't like you back, then just stay friends! Seriously, it has to make her uncomfortable if you've asked her out three times and she hasn't given you an answer yet. Give the girl some space [;
 12.
The horse's name was Tuesday.
Yay, you got it right [;
Correct again. as for your riddle, they dont bury the survivors.
Yupp, that's right, they don't bury survivors because not only were there none, but you don't bury people who are still alive [: Good job!! I really can't think of the answer to the drink one, though. I'll have to sleep on that >_> I''ll edit in just a minute with another riddle, m'kay?
 13.
Correct. There is another possible solution to it though.
Hm... I'll have to think on that on [:
Give me food, and I will live; give me water, and I will die. What am I?
Fiiiiire. Feed the flames, they'll live, douse them with water, they go out. A plane crashes into a mountain and all passengers die. Where do they bury the survivors?
 14.
1)You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What did you eat?
Corn? You throw away the husk, cook the inside, and eat the corn and throw away the inside.
2)What can you catch but not throw?
A cold? Maybe. Edit- Gah, someone already got that one >_> A man took a two-day trip on horseback. He did not make any un-necesary stops. It took him exactly two days. He rode out on Tuesday, and returned on Tuesday. How is that possible?
 15. Personally, I use Paint Shop Pro. But you probably shouldn't take my work for it, I still use MS Paint for small jobs >_> But yeah, I find PSP to be, as Stuart mentioned, far more user-friendly. Also, I can't afford PS. PSP is much cheaper, I've found. Either way, GIMP just doesn't really compare. Once you've used a program like PS or PSP, you won't know how you lived without it.
 16.
How can you make the following equation true by drawing only one straight line: 5+5+5=550
I skimmed through, and it didn't appear as though this one was answered... But I may be wrong. Meh.
Okay, one way is to put a line from the top of the first + to the left side of the +, thus making it a 4. 545 + 5 = 550. The second way is to simply do the same on the second +. 5 + 545 = 550.
I'm pretty sure that's right. Mine is pretty stupid, but here we go- I'm the part of the bird that's not in the sky. I can swim in the ocean and yet remain dry. What am I? Have fun, people [:

 18. I am actually much more comfortable with Yahoo!, seeing as I've had it longer. I have used MSN in the past, and I've had many people reccomend Trillian, but I've never really used either. I just recently made my AIM account. Only because it seems to be the most popular, and all my friends had it [as opposed to Yahoo!]. The only thing is, I find I'm generally invisible on Yahoo!, because most of the people on my friends list aren't particularly people I enjoy talking to anymore. Except maybe WavemasterTsuka, Brooklyn, and Dragon Warrior [Those are their OB names, not thier screennames, in case you didn't notice], but I don't talk to any of them much, it seems. I'm too busy being invisible to all my stalker/annoying friends to see if they're online or not [x Heh. So I guess I use AIM more. Not because I prefer it, but because of the people on my friends list. You could argue that I could just delete/block those people, but they make up about 97% of my friends. And I am extremely lazy. So whatever.
 19. I must say, "Lack of Slacks" had me laughing for a solid three minutes or so. Good stuff, most definitely =D Keep it up, we all need more!
 20. Hahahaha... I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread yet! Seriously, you are simply brilliant. I never thought anything could beat your whole 'Why Primitive People Should Not Be Able To Download Instant Messengers' thing, or even your 'Jerry the Loon' animation, but you've most definitely outdone yourself. I never get tired of reading/watching/laughing at everything you do. [I especially like 'Fries with that?'. Hillarious xD]
 21. Wow, thanks everyone for commenting so fast. You guys are awesome. Yeah, I guess what Gavin [And Retri] said is true. I really should make a decision before I get in any deeper with Andrew, and keep my schoolwork/job as my top priority. It's hard to feel like I'm never going to see Andrew again, that's why I don't want to 'break up' with him. I really do like being with him, but I don't know how exactly he's going to take it when summer comes around and I start working two jobs, doing double the schoolwork, and karate every night. I'll have absolutely no time to spend with him. If Andrew can deal with that, and Josh can deal with the fact that I like Andrew, then I'd like to keep things how they are. If not, I suppose I'll have to cut them out of my life for a while. Dang. I really don't like hurting people. And Pumpkin definitely has a valid point... I suppose I'll just have to talk to them and work something out. I'm still open to other suggestions, if you've got any...
 22. Alright, I need help. I've really got noone else to vent to except you guys, so... Hm. About a year and a half ago, me and my best friend started dating. Things just didn't work out, and we ended up breaking things off about six months ago. He just wan't ready for the relationship side of me. Now, I'm really busy with work, school, trying to get my black belt, and getting ready for both graduation and [eventually] college. I really don't have time for a social life. I knew that. I knew I didn't have time for friends, and I definitely didn't have time for a boyfriend, and I just started going out with this other guy. I know I shouldn't. I know it won't work out. Now Josh hates me, and this Andrew [The... Erm... 'Other guy'] has fallen head-over-heels for me. I never tried to lead him on or anything, but I guess I never really told him that we couldn't be together. Teenage relationships don't last, and I REALLY don't need another breakup. I'm too busy dealing with things between me and my biological father and my step-dad to deal with guy troubles. This whole thing isn't the end of the world, but I'd really like to keep from hurting either of them, if at all possible. I really like being with Andrew [and if he was willing to wait for me, I think he's the guy I want to be with], and I wish Josh wasn't making me choose between the two of them. Ack.
 23.
i think your topic question can be answered in one simple word NO!!!!!!!!! he totally wreaked the country :animecry:
You think so? Really? How, exactly? Gosh, I hate people who just automatically say 'Bush SUCKS!' without having anything to back it up. Bush didn't wreak the country. It's not his fault that all this [9/11, Katrina, etc.] happened during his presidency. I think he could've done a thing or two differently, but all-in-all, he did better than most anyone could have done with the situation.
 24. I don't know. There's probably a few things I wish I'd done slightly differently, but that's just life. I wish I hadn't put so much trust in my biological father. All he does is let me down. I wish I wasn't in love with a scuicidal drug attict. I wish I didn't waste so many months crying over him when he ODed, got really sick, and finally killed himself. I wish I didn't still love him. I wish I didn't fall for my best friend. All I did was break his heart. Falling in love is hard. All I do is fall for guys that are like my biological father. I hate that about myself.
 25. Sakura's third spider installment for Derald. Heck YES =D Mexican Red Knee Turantula The Mexican Redknee (Brachypelma smithi) is a member of the Theraphosidae (Bird-eating spiders) and has been collected since the 1970's and 1980's. It was originally discovered by a collector named H.H. Smith in 1888, and was one of the first spider species to enter the pet trade. Range: Pacific Coastal regions of Mexico. Habitat: Enjoy living in and around natural debris, such as cacti, bushes, logs, and rock piles. Found in deserts and scrublands Diet: Mostly insects, however, adults may eat young mice or small lizards. Reproductive Behavior: Male tarantulas initiate courtship first by spinning a web and depositing small drops of sperm on the surface. Then he finds the female and quiets her with caresses. Using a mating structure (arm-like appendages called pedipalps) located near the mouth, he breeds with the female. Immediately afterwards he leaves quickly to avoid the possibility of being eaten. After a period of time the female's abdomen will begin to swell with eggs. She then releases them into a cocoon where they develop into juvenile tarantualas. Special Features: Because of its gentle nature, huge body size and beautiful coloration, the Mexican redknee tarantula has been used in many films such as "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and a few James Bond films. All tarantulas have venom but this venom usually does not harm humans. However, some people may have an allergic reaction so it is best to leave them alone. These are the most common pets, as far as tarantulas go. I wish my brother wasn't terrified of all things with more than four legs, or my step-dad might've let me get one of these suckers. That would be awesome.
