[CENTER][SIZE=1]^ Yeah, she's sorta pixilated. Y'know, it's not bad, but she just doesn't have a nice edge. I'ts a good job on the background, though! How long have you done graphics and what do you make them on? That makes a difference in how I critique. Well, here are my other problems with this piece. First off, the words are just as pixelated as the edge of the stock. The stock itself is nice, but it really doesn't go with the blurry bg. Maybe if she was sofened up some, or you made the cloud-thingies sharper they wouldn't contrast as much. This is a great wallpaper, nonetheless. You're not bad![/SIZE][/CENTER]

The border may have looked better as a dark pinkish purple on OB's background, but not bad. As every person above me has noted, the motion blur doesn't work at all. That appears to be the deciding point in this, but that's pretty good considering how much longer Sun has been doing this stuff. Sun- I don't believe I've posted in your newest thread yet, but I have glanced at it many times. This reminds me far too much of your Naruto banners. (Stock-wise) and the background I believe was used by you before... Or at least something VERY similar. The font is different, (Though I do think you've used that many times as well) but otherwise, it looks just like all of your other works. Amazing as it is, it is just a spinoff of your older banners. Now to comment on the peice- If I put into consideration your other pieces, it's alright. If I don't, it's great. A 9.5 at LEAST. The stock was extracted masterfully and is the crispest I've seen. The background (While repetative) is possibly one of the cleanest (And grungy at the same time) that I have ever seen. I agree that the RS on Link's hat doesn't add to the overall image, but I do love the font. That one's a keeper for sure! Anyway, if I put all things I am thinking into consideration, Ima would problably get my vote, but that's not fair. Sun's is cleaner and flows far better, and it really is nicer in terms of stock usage. Therefore, my vote must go to [b]Sun[/b]. edit- Hey, Sun, did you put text in the background? Before I was old enough to realize, my dada decided he didn't want me and he left my mom. My dad then got married to a woman who'd just had a kid 10 minutes before I was born, and my mom got married to a high school friend. Both parents had more kids. My step dad doesn't hate me, he loves me alot. Still, I'll never have as much of a bond with him, because he seems to... Favor my little brother. All of his side of the family is the same. On every side of the family, I am thought of as the mistake. The kid that wasn't supposed to happen. The 'Accident'. I hate it. The only family member that treats me like a person is my mother. I don't have many friends IRL. It's not because I'm mean or bitter (My step dad sent me to anger management whe I was 8-12 to make sure of it) It's because my family won't let me. They are over-protective (Not a bad thing) But it's gotten to the point where all I can do is work, school, and babysit. They pulled me out of public school to homeschool me. My only friends are my neighbors and the people I work with. I love my family, but they just make me so confused and upset. I don't cry anymore, it's not worth it.[/SIZE][/CENTER]

In the same hospital 10 minutes earlier, the boy who would become my stepbrother was born. Pretty nifty, huh? My dad married his mom after both our sets of biological parents got divorced. I don't get to see him much, but we really kind of have a... [I]Bond[/I] that noone else could ever replace. Not just becaus of our birthdays, but because our lives and everything. (Sinde I don't want to just up your thread with my stuff ^^)I'm not too good at irregular edges, but I have done a few things I like (Look at sakura's art>panda 2 for a... Horrible example. Though that's just one of my templates...) Hrm... I can see OB images just fine. Maybe it's just your comp? Also, I have another thing to say about the second Define Strength. I actually think this one would look really cool with a choppy faded border (Like Rising Sun's) Does Photoshop have any presets for that? I know PSP7 had a few, but I made some using the originals as a guide. The only problem... I can't get them to be the gray of OB's background. The closest color I can find to it is 239,239,239. It's not exact, so I haven't used that to my advantage. Just keep in mind that .gif supports transparancy, so simple erasing aroung shapes and cutting grooves in the border can be done ever so simply.[/SIZE][/CENTER]

I love the font, and the white goes really weel with the pink-ish color. My only other problem with this one is that... There's not much to look at, really. It doesn't stand out as amazing. Ink- Much better than Alone, I think. The colors clash a bit, but it is a bit busier, more to look at. Also, the text is awesome. I've noticed in most of your works (I have many a time glance at your thread, yet never posted until today...) You tend to lean toward abstract works, mostly brushes and text. Occasionally you'll use different pictures, but overall you seem to enjoy making things from scratch. I salute your work. (Also, you are a texting MASTER!!! Where do you get your fonts, if you don't mind my asking?) Stand Alone Complex- *Stares in awe* That is the single most amazing work I've ever seen. The avatar is smaller than the 150x80 normally used, so maybe you were trying to put more focus on his face than the bg? Sig- Your banner ties the whole Naruto theme together. It's a nice banner, yet it is... Somewhat dark... Goes well with your name. Another thing I noticed by your writing is that you are alot nicer than you would tell by you banner.
