[CENTER][COLOR=Blue][SIZE=1][FONT=Tahoma]Love it. Absolutely love it. When it's not just shades of blue, you can really see more of the shadowing going on. Colors are all bright yet cool, like the water itself. Awesome! And the color really brings out the eyes. I would say something critictizing to help you improve, but there's not much bad to say, really. *Shrugs* I'll look back and see if I can find anything. Another thing I'd like to comment on is the beauty in the texture. You did an amazing job with that! This one I'd give a 9.7/10 (You can never quite reach perfect ^^) But far better than nearly all of my current works. (I don't edit mine in PSP anymore, I just leave it black and white. [CENTER][COLOR=Blue][SIZE=1][FONT=Tahoma]Wow, I like. What art media did you use on it? Just ink? And... How did you make such an awesome background? (Did you do that one the computer?) I love to draw. My stuff is a little more... Toony than yours. That's just my style, I guess. I absolutely love it. There is only one teensy tiny problem I have (And it would make no difference if it was fully colored...) But when you look at the arm in comparison to the other arm, it doesn't look as... Natural as it should. The sleeve is very breezy, and it causes some confusion to where one thing ends and another begins. You could possibly fix this problem by adding more depth to the arms, maybe pull the left one out at a bit of an angle, so it isn't quite as paralell to the right. It's all in the perspective. One thing I absolutely LOVE is the wave of the hair. You made it so nice and clean. I love to draw hair, but I can never get braids just right. You pulled this off awesome. I really want to start a thread featuring my works, but my scanner is on the fritz, so maybe another day. 9.5/10 Awesome![/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR][/CENTER]

[CENTER][COLOR=Blue][SIZE=1][FONT=Tahoma]Heh... I like that little comic ^^ Anyway, are you reffering to how to get the panels strait, and don't appear drawn in? Well, I like to draw comic strips and short mangas, and I still do all mine with a ruler (Or the spine of the Shonen Jump I'm using for referance ^^) But I did try scanning all of the pages onto my laptop and fixing edges/typing and words/drawing borders and other strait-edge things in PSP (And a few other graphics-editing programs) but it was just too tedious. I've gained a steadier hand and I just carefully write in any words, and draw in the panels by hand with pencil, and fix it up and draw in all of the people in pen when I ink it. (Another note: Scanning and fixing up on the computer eliminates any need to ink. That is probably the best part about it.) If you spend enough time, it can look really good. I would show you some examples, but for some reason my scanner won't work. It prints and copies fine, but it won't transfer info onto my laptop, so whatever. The seven year old I babysit loved that show and he was distraught when it was gone. I have wasted many a saturday watching those shows. 1) It was less popular in comparison. 2) It was getting downright desparate in it's storyine. 3) The writers ran out of good ideas. 4) They had to make room for the new (And possibly better) things. Hotohiri and Tamahome from Fushigi Yugi. Definitely mostly on looks. I love Tama's hair. Hotohiri is a great ruler, in my opinion, and he pulls off nicely as a girl... I know everyone likes Kurama, but I'll add him to my list anyway. I would fall for a guy on hair alone, I swear. Eriol Hirogizawa from Card Captor Sakura. A bit young for me, but he is definitely a cutie. He also (In my expert opinion) Is the most memorable character from his manga, if you leave out Keroberous. (sp?) Hideki from Chobits. He may be perverted, but he's sweet. You can't pursuade me otherwise. I think it's nice how he treats Chi, and how he helps everyone out, even though he's broke! Nor Cowboy Bebop.I like Alice 19th, Chobits, and Dr Slump far better than ANYTHING on that list.(They aren't all animes, but who cares...) But seriously, my kid brother wanter to be a cook for the longest time (Now he just wants to be a pro soccer player... Ah, the dreams of a 12 year old ^^) Anyway, he made some awesome stuff. I'm not really a cook, but I do love making toasted sandwitches. The awesome thing about them is... Everyone likes them! From the vegetarian (Me ^^) to the meat lover in the family! Whatever ingredients you want! My favorite is below... You take some whole weat bread (Or white... I like weat better.) and you add slices of Avacado, mozzerella, artichoke hearts, random vegatables, and olive oil and just heat up in the oven (Or microwave, if it suits you better.) It's really good. I love to make brownies, too. My trick is to add a bit of chocolate syrup and chips to the batter. It makes them a bit creamier, with chockolate chunks. Awesome. Note- Never puta rock in the microwave. It's not a good idea. Another note- The meaning of the word 'Decedant' does NOT mean rich, it means filled with rot and decay. Look it up in any dicionary that is dated before 2001 when they attempted to change the legal meaning of the word because it was misused so often. Ever hear Red Lobster commercials that say 'Try our decedant shrimp platter!' or something like that? Yeah. Total misuse. The reason for that was some man in England was making fun of a king (Eh, I forget when and who...) But anyway, everyone thought he was trying to give the king a compliment, but in truth he was insulting him. That little fact will now drive you all crazy.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR][/CENTER]

Satoshi- This could be really good, or kinda iffy depending on how you look at it. At first glance, and even at second it looks awesome. That's really good, cause that's all that most people are gonna give it (If it's just in your sig or somethin', y'know?) But when you look harder... The blendage (Is that a word?) is lacking in finesse. You should have maybe moved the larger image over to the left, to show some more of it? Erm... Maybe... Love it, though. Real neat. Total ownage on the font, though. That's a hard thing to do ^^ How long have you had Photoshop/PSP and what version do you have? Shadow- This one I like. I think the person on the right shouldn't be QUITE so bright, and maybe should have a red (Rather than purple) overlay-ish layer over her so she's a bit more blended with the other image. Great job, though! Fruits Basket- Awesome for an earlier work! I think you should just take out the silver thing, though. It's pixilated and pulls attention away from the awesome BG. Love the triangles! (Though they might be made a duller color to match? Perfect how it is, though!) Could have chosen a more stand-outish font... Wolf's Rain- I love the grid areas. Real neat! And I like how you pulled all of the images together to make them more harmonized. Real great job! I couldn't have pulled that off, that's for sure! ^^' Gaara- Nothing bad to say. Nothing at all. However, since many people are going to comment on the good aspects, I've chosen to focus on the aspects I think need improvment. -This does not include the Marvin banner- Here's where I have a problem with them, though... I mean, they all look far too similar. They all have similar muddy bgs and fuzzed out areas, (Not neccesarily a bad thing) and all the subjects are similar. (Possibly a bad thing) I'm not the one to take advice from, but I say you try making a cleaner looking one. Just so you don't get stuck in a rut... (Like me and a few other people I know...) It's just that the same grungy bg time after time gets tedious. They could be the best banners in the world, but they still look would tedious. Anghellic- Not loving the text that says Tech N9ne, but I love the other font. Also, you could've brought the subject out a bit more, instead of fuzzing him out as well. Good choice of brushes, though! I love the background itself. Liberate- I love the font. It's great, really! And yet again, I love the bg... It reminds me alot of the one above ^^ (lol) But seriously, this one (While great) could use some improvement. It just isn't very pleasing to the eyes... Marvin- I have nothing bad to say about the Marvin banner. Awesome job! Hack Helba- Once again, love it! It's awesome. I'd rate this at least a nine. I would suggest making the subject a bit lighter, and the pixel font a hint clearer... Otherwise, I'd say PERFECT banner! Yay! If I saw ever banner seperately, I'd singly rate each one about 8.5-9.5, my favorite being the Marvin banner, my least being the Liberate banner. The other two fall in between. Those are not bad scores at all! You have done awesome work! I love all of them, way better than anything I could do! And you have AWESOME choice in fonts! He finally learned how to spell Brooklyn, bless his soul) Yeah, that was a total screw up... But I can't change it until I find out what happened to all my fonts. All I have left it Arial, Comic Sans, and some one with stars (You can see they all occur more than once in my current banners... Grr...) Well, I found an old file-within-a-file a few minutes ago, scearching through my old junk, and I found my original works. I'll post them tomorrow, since I'm kinda tired right now... Beach 1 and 2 I was doing at the same time. The girl's dress was yellow and white. I was tired of yellow and white, so I just made it greyscale. Heh. (Not lovin' the effect the cloud had on it...) On the first one, I love how you used the halftone effect. I used a similar spinoff of it on my current banner. I love the Daisuke set. Just love it. Like Retri said,(And I stated in PMs) it could use a nice border. The second one in your last post also caught my eye. It's really nice, but you can't read the font on it. (I do like the font you used, though, maybe it just needs a glow effect around it to make it stand out...) Well, you're getting better all the time. Anyway, another point I want to make (That goes directly with Reti's) is that most people don't go to war for themselves anyway. They go to war to fight for someone/thing else. Normally it's because it's what the government commanded. Occasionally it's because they believe it the right thing to do. I ask this though, unless we're PROTECTING something, is there a good reason to go to war and kill? Is the 'right' thing to do really all a point of perspective? On each side of every war, both think they're doing it to better something (Or something like that anyway) So in perspective, everone who fights had a REASON, but they don't neccesarily have to agree with the cause to fight for it. Though this has little to do with the point, I am a vollunteer. I help out the 4-H kids and stuff. I don't personally like doing this because I don't like the 4-H system right now, but I do it to help the KIDS even though I'm really vollunteering for the 4-H, see? I'm doing something for a cause I only half-agree with (Though it's a horrible example) to help the bit I do agree with. Also, it's a great thing to put on my collage application. See? I am a pacifist. I don't condone war of any type unless it is used in utter defence. I would hate to see anyone I love go to war for something trivial, but if noone did, things may be much different... I don't know if that's good or bad. InuyashaDemon, I totally agree with you. However, in the end, despite all of the people needlessly killed, we ended up doing some good. To some degree, anyway. Take the American Civil War for example. If you were in the south, you pretty much had to fight. That was all there was to it, really. In the end though, southerners weren't fighting for anything as important as thier freedoms or anything, but they still HAD to fight. Let's say you're in that situation. Would you just leave all your families and run away? Would you join the Union? Then you would really be siding with something you don't believe in.
