Also, banners on OB are only allowed to be a width of 500 pixels or less. I realized that when making it, so instead of cropping out the edges, I just resized it, but it turned out 400 pixels in width, because that looked the best and least distorted. Another note, I had no idea what kind of font you wanted, so I just did a plainish-grungish-type-font. Hope the colors are okay! And if you wanted a border, I'll do that, too. Jared flipped through page by page to find sketch after sketch and chart after chart on his very own Poke'mon, end even himself. "Obbsessive much?" "Yup. I have determined the proper course to help your Poke'mon be much more efficient in battle." Karia let her hat fall back into her face. "So... Why don't you just use this to make your Poke'mon better? It doesn't seem like you think you need me." "But I want to test this out. You use Ivysaur, I'll use Venonat. I think you'll be surprized how much punch this little guy packs." "How much training does it have?" "It's lvl 16." Karia snapped a green Poke'ball off of her belt. "Come on, babe. Time to shine!!" "Why again do YOU get to choose my Poke'mon?" Jared reached for the Poke'ball containing Charmeleon. "Cause I wanna see if I can beat you with no weaknesses or resistances." "Fair enough. Go, Ivysaur!" "Plum, surround the field with your spore attack!" Venonat rushed into action. "Not good enough. Ivysaur, Vine Whip!" Ivysaur blew through the obstruction and wraped it's vines around Plum. She struggled awhile, then looked back at Karia for direction. "Spikes." Plum closed her eyes and her rough fur poked out into long spikes and pierced Ivysaur's vines. Ivysaur released. Plum didn't waste any time before using Sleep Powder. Ivysaur used it's injured vines to blow away the dust again. This repeated in essence a few more times. "One trick pony, eh Jared?" "One trick pony? Funny coming from a runny-nosed brat." The battle went on much like it had been for a few more minutes, each one slightly gaining ground just to lose it. Finally, Ivysaur hit it hard with a Razor Leaf. "Enough playing around, Ivysaur. Finish it real quick." Ivysaur placed one more well-aimed Razer Leaf in the direction of the almost defenseless Venonat. "Okay, I get it, you win!" Karia ran out on the field. and tended to Plum. "Speed is nothing without something to back it up. Little miss strategist over there should know that." Jared turned to leave. "No, you can't go. You have to help me, I told you... You've got to make me good." Karia scooped Plum into her arms. "Why do you care so much? You need to learn like everyone else. You need to go on your own journy, I can't help you with that." "I can go... Can you come with me?" Karia stood up, Plum still in arms. "Why would I want to waste my time babysitting a child?" Jared scoffed. This kid was too much. "I'm not a child! I'm 15 years old! I turn 16 in 23 days! I live by myself... I travel by myself. I need someone to train me... You're perfect for that." [CENTER][COLOR=Purple][SIZE=1][FONT=Microsoft Sans Serif]Yeah, Tsukaksa's eyes are just pretty big, so making them smaller makes the picture lack definition... And contain too much empty space. Also, his mouth is a hint too high on his face, and his nose a hint too small, even for anime. If you shrink the eyes, you have too compensate, and his features aren't doing so. Maybe just move his eyas a bit to the right? (Well, Tsukasa's left, but right from looking at the picture.) As for Spike, I love the definition in the clothing, but it gets kind of twitchy when you got to his right arm... You may have put TOO MANY wrinkle-lines, and NOT ENOUGH space where the cloth just falls. Try looking at people wearing similar things to get a more realistic feel. This is one of the only times I've seen that too much detail was a bad thing. Overall great work. Even just a totally random thing that makes you look deeper into the image, instead of just glancing at it. I really like choice of colors, though. Good job, really. 7/10 The font is nice, it looks a little out-of-place... I really can't tell whether it's because of the placement or the style of it on the grunge-y background. I say go a hint bolder with font if it is a main focus (Like tiGs mentioned) and [I]let [/I] it stand out rather than try and make it blend. But do try and match image-font style, or it may look [I]too[/I] out-of-place, and doesn't match or look appealing at all. I really would like this one if only there was more to look at than just random brush-strokes... Then again, considering that you did all that from scratch rather than just croping and editing a picture, maybe you really do deserve more credit than everyone is giving you... It was a good use of space, though, I'll give you that one. And the font looks nice... I may have used a slightly different shade of blue on the font, though. The second I really like. It's just got a good feel to it, really. It all matches, the colors, fonts, pic, everything, and that seems to be rarer and rarer lately. I don't PERSONALLY like the pic, it's a little dark for my taste, but I really do LOVE how you did it. Nothing I would cange except I might do a little color burning around the edges and maybe darken the font a bit. Maybe a dull grey? I dunno. I can't really find anything WRONG with it, though, great job! The third is a bit bland, but not too bad... Not nearly as good as the other two, to say the least. Anyway, stick more to those styles rather than this one. Overall, I love everything you did. It's really awesome, you could become a great banner maker! You're already really good!
