Request I'm so mad...Because I would like someone to make me a banner.

Sure thing. I love angels or anything with wings so it'll be my pleasure. -
There is legal graffiti you can do. Just search for a local club or something, there are places that want graffiti to give it a teenage atmosphere or for designs. Or do it on massive bits of plywood. Do it in chalk, snap a picture, then let the rain do the rest. Anyways, looks very cool. I like the first one better, because the second one seems very plain looking.

I reckon they are listenable, but nothing too special in my opinion. Even so I have always been fascinated by a song of theirs called Black Balloon for the soundtrack of Meet Joe Black.

It's one of the few I haven't read by her but I will do soon enough. I read Kaine by her, which is not similar at all, but is in name xD Yuki Kaori never makes a happy ending. One of the few with a happy ending is Bloodhound which I loved anyway. She has a thing for corrupted fairy tales and mother figures gone wrong.

Whats your Worst-Nightmare!!!
Shi no Tenshi replied to Heero Darkangel's topic in General Discussion
Mine's where I had a waking dream (where everything seems real and you can actually feel pain in these dreams and have heart attacks) that there was a black mist demon on my lap and when I tried to scream it muffled my voice. -
...isn't the lead singer of the Rasmus male? I don't particularly like them, so I might be wrong, but... Well, if you want to find good female singers, I could spout off a dozen names of old school jazz and blues singers, but few people like jazz any more (kids today...).
I love jazz and blues, hit me with a few, I need variety in my media player.

I think it's just trying to show how people do things and then when they ask why things are going wrong and try to place the blame the only guilty one is themself. Or something. SOAD is great, one of the few bands that has been influenced by punk and has still come out good.
-
Ooo, I despise them x_x They do some crazy funny stuff in Jackass, but as far as music goes, no thanks.
Is anyone else here finding themselves constantly urged to go out and see Rocky Horror?
It's like you've known me all my life. My boyfriend has a thing about crossdressing d: in the funny sense that is. Drag queens are cool, especially people like Brian Molko and such. There are a few gay bars around and I've TRIED to convince my boyfriend to take me and let me say I used to be a man but to no avail.

Don't like Black Sabbath, don't like Ozzy, never will. I think he's dead and doesn't know it >.> He just walks like a zombie and grumbles nonesensically. I find it funny how he went from all out metal to singing ballads with a bunch of kids surronding him.

Writing just read it and say good or bad
Shi no Tenshi replied to shadow15's topic in Creative Works
The rhyme scheme is cool, but I reckon your style can do with a little more work. It's coming along though, reminds me of the stuff I wrote when I was little, cept I never wrote about relationships cause I never cared for guys till I was about 15. -
I made a new one. Hopefully it'll be approved on my account at myotaku.com Thoughts? I'm always open to criticism. Personally I don't think I could ever produce a good wallpaper even if the answer to all life depended on it. Oh yeah, it's free to use... eh.

Yes not angsty, perish the thought. I write a series of very unusual poems. Sometimes they have more than one meaning, sometimes I don't know what they mean and sometimes they aren't meant to have meaning but are a play on words. You can see all of them at http://riskyrhyme.diaryland.com/older.html in chronological order. Here are some of my favourites. http://riskyrhyme.diaryland.com/040708_15.html (Warning - this one is not for those with weak stomachs) I'm not too sure what this one is about actually. I guess I had in mind how people tend to overlook the beauty in what is ugly and go for what is pretty and trim. When I wrote this I had in mind that the gingerbread men were poisoned and the person was saved by the blood of the raw meat but oh well. Tea Time Mommy served me raw meat And gingerbread men today The raw meat glistening, red Traced with a delta of purple veins White tumours squished in with a brain Minced and smooth Slimy with goo Like something just gave birth to it But it's dead Fresh still, smelling like A cured buffet So that I won't get diseases Like brain fever, schizophrenia, the shakes I won't touch it, not with my fork Nor spoon, nor spork Maybe the knife Like the one that has taken its life And then the gingerbread men Stood there grinning With red, green and yellow buttons Frosting eyes and a smile A tint of orange for flavour A drop of chamomile And the scents of flowers, sugars, Milk and honey Flour and eggs Special things that are baked On a greasy clean tray Doughy tummies Sweet hands and shoes Now tainted and soggy with blood From the raw meat leaking On the plate If they hadn't been stained I would have eaten them With my fingers instead. http://riskyrhyme.diaryland.com/040708_37.html This one is religious, or an attack against religion. How people believe everything they hear in church when religion has killed off a lot of what it teaches (although it's getting A LOT better... I don't know why I'm so cruel to the church x_x) Sunday Dress Hey little girl With ribbons in your hair You only get to dress up When you go to Sunday school But how can you smile When your mother is dead Crucified, naked Hanging over your head And how can you laugh When the rock this church Was built on Has eroded, corroded Into the veils of time How can you learn When what you hear Is not what it seems Hey little girl with ribbons In your dark, dark hair You complained the font leaks That through a crack Water seeps Look closer, Cause in reality It's a wound That is doomed to bleed Till the roots run dry Sit down and cry Your tears cannot fill the ocean No matter how hard you try. http://riskyrhyme.diaryland.com/040708_67.html I wrote this for a competition, I forgot what I got though. It's rather old, but I like it. The message is odd... there are several if you can pick them out. Invisible Friend You are my silent companion The silver on the upturned Abdomen of a fish A bit like my once Schlemiel heart Ghostly, is your trait I can see you Much like sand When it is struck By lightening But the others are blind To your presence Or is it they don't want To see? No matter I guess to them You are as transparent As a liar However to me You are like a Glass of tainted water Please don't allow them To drink you down Stay forever as the Glass of a picture frame With myself under Your skin Only myself Be the cornea of my eye Invisible, but there As real as ever Sometimes I think that Maybe it is you who is real And me who is Make-believe. http://riskyrhyme.diaryland.com/040708_2.html This poem is not angsty. It's religious ;] It's about how people don't believe in God when the signs are there. Or how people avoid things and live in denial. Photographing the Dark my life is a monochrome it turns deeper and lighter shades but never changes just grey like an antique film playing on and on a roulette silence actions are noted before speech you are motionless black ink does not perform miracles just like a newspaper lies and the rain falls upon me wash away the 21st letter pinpoint my madness but it's not that call me eccentric, but i doubt you i don't believe the time you give me a circle is not a number a junction made of grey concrete don't show me the colour in that it doesn't exist millions of dots on the floor a crow picks one up it flies away leaving a trail of white feathers but i know it cannot be more than one type the noise makes static a sound like an unknown movement be still because you do not impress me your sound is broken calling less people to a congregation just please, don't pretend to turn the light on in my monochrome life.

Nightwish's lead singer, Tarja, has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Extremely powerful and varied, but then again it has to be when you are singing opera in a metal band :] I would reccomend "Gethsemane" and "Wanderlust". Delta Goodrem's voice is also very nice. I suppose she is pop ~ oh well, she's good pop then ("Not Me Not I" and "Predictable"). Enya is also nice, and they are neo-classical (can never remember the names x_x I liked her on the LotR album). Madonna has always had one of the most amazing voices in the music world in my opinion, but I would recommend her older stuff such as her compilation album "Something to Remember" - "Frozen" is an incredible song by her in which she is some sort of pagan goddess (I love the video). Eva Cassidy is cool too ~ smooth jazz n blues ("Wade in the Water" and "You've Changed" have always fascinated me, they sound like a female modern Sinatra). Sandra from the Guano Apes has a cool voice, although it's not exactly girly. It's very rough and somewhat deep when she's singing along to heavier rock, but in songs like "Rain" and "Scapegoat" it transforms dramatically. Bjork is neo-classical with a grunge/electronica twist, and the lead singer whom we'll call Bjork for typing reasons x_x has a really odd voice with a heavy accent which suits the music extremely well. I reccomend "Joga", "99 Red Balloons" and "Army of Me". L- Seven used to have an awesome lead singer called Larissa Strickland, who has a really rough evil voice stuiable for her part as a ***** in their song "Shove". Then there is Ayumi Hamasaki if you want to try something really different. She's a J-pop singer with a really captivating voice. It sounds a bit nasal as does most J-music, but I like it. The music sounds a bit like the stuff that is spat out of a DDR machine so if you like that sort of stuff check out "Evolution" and "Fly High". Ah yes, last but not least Ladytron. Their voices are barely above a whisper but really creepy sounding against the new wave like music. Helen Marnie and Mira Aroyo are a fantastic pair. I would reccomend "Playgirl", "Jet Age", "Seventeen" and "Evil".
First and foremost - Classical music.
yay *waves banner* I'm also into neo-classical, electronica and 80's music. Then there are random bands like the Offspring and such. I'm very picky so I'll only listen to about 10 bands. As for downloading - people make too much of a fuss about it, I think people should be allowed to download all the music they like. I suppose musicians have to make a profit, but there are concerts, gigs, and stuff otherwise selling CD's, which devote fans will buy anyway.

I have nearly 20-30 notebooks from since I was about 12 filled with poems. I carry my latest notebook around with me and only a select few can read it. It's nice to see how your style evolves or shapes itself around your mood. My poems went from being very spiritual and philosphical to being very odd. And I mean odd. I wrote about raw meat and gingerbread men the other day >.o

I don't think my music really affects my mood unless I am feeling very sensitive. I don't like listening to metal or anything when I'm angry... I just slam on my music and it usually blares out some techno-80's sounding electronica which is a bit freaky but not exactly 'feeling-fueled'. I've given up on most music cause it annoys me sometimes how much emotion a band puts in - it just seems false at times and cliched, although there are some songs I deem acceptable which preach on the subject of emotion.

The death's in Blood: The Last Vampire. The movie in itself wasn't amazing, but it was action packed and a good watch. Any death was good, they were all very creative and gory.
That is kinda' interesting actually... especially if you've been in Canada for awhile. Visual artist? I would have to guess as much from your Signature and avatar. What area of computers are you studying? Balmon
Rubbishy ones, we have to jump certain 'hoops'. Feasability studies involving spreadsheets and databases so far, but I've taught myself to web design (HTML, CSS, bits o' Javascript) and I've taught myself how to make graphics. As for art - I'm a variety of things. I prefer still life (I draw dead birds and strange and burnt objects... and I am encouraged by my art teacher ~ ehh) in watercolour and ink and I am partial to photo manipulation (I stuck a nude model inside a bottle - that sort of thing). Soon enough I'll be doing a specialist course in web design and graphics so that oughta be fun :]

Johnny Depp is one of the few people in Hollywood I admire for not only his acting but for his personality and willingness to take up a part that may not be glamourous and yet he turns it into something heartfelt and deep. I loved this film, and the hidden messages in it. It's a really nice film to analyse, like at the beggining [this is hardly a spoiler] where all the houses are the same and all the men leave to work at the same time etc. Fantastic. Edit: Almost forgot! He and Johnny Depp weave a magic I have never seen on screen elsewhere :]

Spirited Away. No comment really, I just liked it, it was sweet and innocent yet perverted and morbid in so many ways. I've seen quite a few anime films, but this one struck out - damn my obsession with 'Alice in Wonderland' type scenarios.

I'm an artist and a computing student attending college in the UK, soon to be in uni hopefully in either Scotland or London. That's me in a nutshell... how terribly intresting.
-
I'm pathetic, I've only watched the films. I should get into the books because he is somewhat of an influential writer, but I'm too lazy. I've seen Secret Window, Langoliers, Rose Red and the Shawshank Redemption. He's creepy and good at mind tricks which has always intrested me.

Benny and Joon. A Johnny Depp film, it's adorable because it's an alternative love story without being dark or morbid. I don't know if it's actually underrated or not though... at least I think it is. My boyfriend is the king of underrated movies, his collection is based around them so he'd probably be able to answer this question better than me.

If you like someone, you say something methinks. Even if they don't feel the same, it's very flattering and nice to them. Erm... my first relationship didn't turn out well, but my second one is great. We've been together nearly four months :] Online crushes are ok I suppose, but they have a higher chance of turning out nasty. I reckon people should only act upon online crushes if they are older and capable of seeing their crush or something. But in real life? Gah. Go for it.
