I can understand how if can hit a nerve for you Lady Aura. I never considered My Chemical Romance to be emo. The band actually said in a interview once that I saw that their fans tell them how their music helped them stop cutting. I really can't see an argument that would support My Chemical Romance being emo with out repeating the same lines over. Especially sense I've been in that argument before. Trying to label music is tricky, some music artist can go in different categories that you can't pin point what they are. Kid Rock for example has been both country and rock for a while at least to me. Listen to what you feel is good music. If you let others get to you then it's showing that you are allowing others to disrupted your taste in music. I personally am a My Chemical Romance fan and so is my dad. My dad is far from what you would expect to be a fan, being that he is a man that works at the airport for the government.
Phenom: I have a friend in Vermont. She say it fluctuates randomly, so I figure it's similar to Detroit, although, I think Vermont gets colder... (not certain if they get hotter/muggier) Thanks for the advice though.
I think it does get colder they get below zero pretty much all winter. As for getting hot/muggier I couldn't say. I do know though the last time I visited the east coast I could help but want to get back to the desert. The dry heat isn't as bad as humid temperatures.
Phenom: I suppose I can ask about the people in general. Friendly, rowdy, thuggish...?
I've personally have had only a few problem when it comes to people. Mostly cause I just happen to walk around and come across someone that was high or drunk. I would say though most Arizonians pretty alright people. They can get a little strange though when it rains. I've had people stop there cars and get out to see if it was true.

I live in Tucson its some what different then Phoenix but close enough. I had moved from Vermont where it snows a lot and is cold and rain to the Desert. I'm not sure if where you are is anywhere similar to Vermont is however your body might go though a shock because of the differences. Where sunblock for Phoenix is around 8 degrees hotter then Tucson. For example say its 102 in Tucson, Phoenix is going to be around 110. Drink plenty of water. Your body is going to need the extra water. If you can bring a bottle of water with you when you go out on errands and such that take the whole day. From personal experience I have fainted because of not drinking enough water. As for activities you in Phoenix there are places where you can go to see snow and snowboard/ski. I would recommend that you go more up to Flagstaff and the northern part of Arizona for snow activities. They are where it tends to snow more. I know there is also river rafting you can do in Phoenix that is fun. Some of my friends went rafting a few months ago and loved it. Hiking is also another that is fun to do. Just be careful of certain animals and at least have one other person with you. Oh, here is a fun story for you about Phoenix. Phoenix was made on top of a Native American settlement that disappeared suddenly. It was thought they left because of a long drought. The new settlers that found the remains of the old such as water systems and such rebuild over the previous. Thus creating the name Phoenix since a new town was born though the ashes of and old. This is what one of river rafters guides said at least.

Even if Wal-Mart were to stop selling red and blue bandanas it wouldn't make a difference. You can just go to another store like Target and get the same bandanas. If the store is making money on bandanas they are going to keep selling bandanas. They aren't going to look into the background of every single customer that buys a bandanna to see if they are related to any gang activity case. If you are trying to stop some gang activity by not selling certain colored bandanas then there wouldn't be any bandanas in stores. I'm sure there is some gang out there thats wears yellow bandanas or purple or whatever other color.

For me I'm not a fan of the Jonas Brothers. Most of my friends all like them and will force me to listen to there music which to me sounds all pretty much the same. As for Miley Cyrus I don't like her either. I am a fan of Billy Ray Cyrus but even that isn't that much better. When you have a song about how you want your mullet back then you are on shaky ground. Trace Cyrus has a little more talent then his sister Miley but not by much. Metro Station to me still sounds to much like the same stuff that has been playing for the past few years. I do like Shia Labeouf some what. After seeing Disturbia two nights ago and some of his other movies he does have the same parts. Its tiring seeing him in the same roles when I sure he can do something else. He got caught in a type of role and now he can't seem to get out of it.

Right now I'm reading Dracula by Bram Stoker. I haven't had to time to read it in the past but now I do. I have read about 8 chapters so far and it has been split in to various characters points of view. This gives to me the idea of how everyone is introduced on there own terms except Dracula who you see so far only in others points of view. After Dracula I plan to read Day of the Dead by J.A. Jance.

Thanks I will do what you suggested and keep trying to copy photos. As for shading I know I'm not very good at yet however I'll keep trying. Only in the last month or so have I been really drawing in a realistic style. I got tried of my old styles and need to try something new. :animesmil

Your little kid is cute and all. However Yuzuyu is by far cuter. All she has to do is give a smile and all fall weak. If that doesn't work she just needs to go to Nee-chan and she'll take care of it.

Recently I have been drawing up a storm really and I want some feedback on some of my newest works. What tried to do was more realistic drawings of people. 5 of them are of actors and singers with 1 being of a friend of mine. My friend ~ In this one her hair peice didn't come out the way I wanted neither did the mouth. Kyle Schmid~ This didn't really come out looking like the actually person. I also didn't really know how to draw certain parts. The Doctor and Rose~The doctor turned out kind of weird. His suit was pretty hard to get right. Rose came out good though. Wednesday 13~ This one came out how I wanted it to really. His hat had lots of detail in it that I tried to get the best I could James Marsters~ This one really came out messy. There was lots of shading and then I made the mistake of trying to give some color to it. James Marsters 2 ~ Pretty simple not much shading. I did add more details to the face to bring out more expression to him.

I guess we now know what the evil monkey in Chris closet does with his free time.

I can't really say I miss anything from the past except people which has been mention many times before. I tend to disappear from time to time and get to busy to come here. I like coming back and seeing how its changed and to see who I names I still know. I have noticed Otakuboards in more relaxed then when I first joined as has been mention. That change I think has been the best I have seen on here to me.

Your drawing are very good. There are just slight details that bother me. For example Yoh's right eye looks a little weird to me. I think it might me a little larger then the other. Also Yoh's head phones need to be little bit longer and go past the bottom of the ear more too. I think the best one out of all of them is Vash The Stampede. True some of your lines are dark but you have a good face proportions. I can't say much about the others since I really don't watch Bleach, Naruto, or One Piece. On the first Naruto drawing however his fingers should have been little more rounded and the finger spacing is off a little. Maybe if the figures were closer together it would help. I hope this helps you with future drawings.

I Forgot What You People Look Like (Image Heavy)
Cat replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in General Discussion
I guess its about time you all knew what I look like. This first picture was taken the day before the last day of school by a friend. The school went to the park and we were just having fun taking pictures of every one. It was really windy that day. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c141/BillyIdolFan14/l_f4077ebb0f9acb8519b780532eb6f52a.jpg This one was taken at my graduation that weekend. Its me with a friend of my. my scanner was acting up so thats why the picture is crooked. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c141/BillyIdolFan14/meandemilio.jpg -
I mostly go on youtube for music videos or look up episodes to past shows to see if they have them. Some of my friends load videos that we did in our film class that are pretty fun to look at. I don't have anything up as of yet though. Is one that that our group did out of complete boredom in film. Its just a picture slide show really with a story that we did. There was another group that had the video camera that day so we couldn't really do much that day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9jO31REi2Q This is a movie trailer that a friend of mine did for our film class that came out really well. Its goes though a black section at the end because I think the editing wasn't completely done at the time he put it up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETbinzPsXAU

I usually don't eat breakfast because of my sleeping habits. I'm pretty much a nocturnal person. I don't go to bed until early in the morning around 4-5 in the morning and don't get up until 2-3 in the afternoon so my breakfast consists of what I have for dinner. Back when I had normal sleeping habit I still didn't eat breakfast unless there was a test or something that day. I would run late basically ever day and to stop and grab something to eat while trying to find my wallet, keys, and cell, back pack, homework, and whatever else is just to much for my not awake brain to handle.

Ok thank you. There it is. It should match up, at least it does on my computer but my computer sometimes lies when it come to colors. Let me know if something needs to be fixed.

Is it alright if I give it a try next if no one is up. I have a good idea that should work and time finally to do the graphic worm.

A few weeks ago I went to a I went to an all day event music festival where Metallica was the head liner and 4 other bands. Two of the bands I took notice in where Apocalyptica and Flobots. Their styles was something that I didn't think at first would be something I like at first but now I can't seem to stop listen to there music.

Birth: When I first started to listen to music it was all my mom early 90's to mid 90's. I had never heard any other kind of music and back I was also going to a Catholic private school where music that isn't christen based was not allowed. Moving: In the late 90's we moved to Arizona were I then went to a public school. I started to find different music then most hip hop and boy band stuff like Brittney Spears and Nsync. I was about 9 years old and anything that wasn't Shina Twain and Reba was new to me. Early High School Years: I moved on then to rock bands. During this time I was in a different kind of group that was more Emo if you want to label them. They that what I listen to before was all crap and just pushed there stuff on me. This is when I started to listen to some harder music likeEvanescence and Linkin Park. Late High School Years to Now: In the last few years I have moved on to a assortment of music that range from metal to 80's rock. I don't care anymore of what people are into or what my friends are into. If I find them to match what I want then I will listen to them. Thats how I come across listening to such shock bands like Wednesday 13 all the way to listening to Culture Club. I think its better now that I'm more diverse in music. It lets me see that genre doesn't really matter to much its the music band or artist that does.

I graduated May 24th. I don't feel really anything that is really different. I was terrible sad to leave some of my friends behind since my classes were combined with the other grades. The school is really small, I think we only had about 20 people graduating or less. However I was happy as well some of friends that graduated before came to see mine and it was great seeing what they were doing besides what I hear though e-mails and on the phone. Right now I plan on getting a job and then in the fall going to a community college for two years and then transfer to a University. I'll be studying web design and graphics design hopefully. If that doesn't fit me then I will be looking into something that has to do with History and/or Writing.

Thank you for your help. I was at a loss there. Next time this happens I'll know what to do also now.

I have this avatar that I have been trying to upload in the past two day and it hasn't uploaded. It is within the size limit and its less then 50 KB. Every time I try to upload the avatar it even says that its been upload. I have had this problem before but by a few hours later the new avatar would be up it has never been this long without results. On my laptop I still see the old avatar. I'm not sure if its my laptop or if its something else. Thanks for the help. This is the new avatar in case something is wrong with it. I personally think talking to someone face to face is alright. I don't normally talk as much as the other person might like. I like to just listen and say something if I have too. Sometimes though if I'm over tired I won't stop talking and talk fast where the other person can't keep up with what I'm saying. During those types of days I end up having to have someone stop me before I end up in the fast talk that I like to do. I also tend to get nervous when talking. I become afraid to say something wrong and the looks on their faces when it said can be horrible. Writing is my favorite form of communication. I am able to read what I'm about to post or message before I push send. I also think that writing helps my spelling in which I am not the best at. This helping for times where you need to write important letters of e-mails to someone. As for phones I can't stand them. I have a bad habit of type an number correctly and getting the wrong person on the other end. As of right now I have one of the home phones out of the wall and the other ones ringer off with just my dads and my cell phone on. I got sick of the calls at 7:00 in the morning that are not even for either one of us.
