You learn to realize they don't care as much as you would think they do. But I'll leave that for you to figure out. An no its not huge but it does have its cult following.

HAH! the last one finished his first entry. Fashionably late to the extreme. http://www.members.shaw.ca/Defect/e1.jpg
Originally posted by Shanghai I haven't done any martial arts yet, but I'm going to begin next month doing the style that Bruce Lee had known. Oh and Narius, doesn't Muay Thai also concentrate on working on the stomach and ribs to block attacks?
Preferred blocking technique is to strengthen the abdomen to a point that you can block with it though the technique is mainly based on the offensive utilizing Balance and Knee techniques. (Muay Thai is the most dangerous Martial Arts in relation to the knee's.)

Narius replied to darkside's topic in General Discussion
Never! Never again will I be plagued by the mundane teachers spouting ******** that even they could not possibly believe. Ahem...in other words I graduated this year ^^. -
Currently enrolled in Muay Thai, Biggest leg strengthening Martial Arts course you could ever take. Oo.

Art Un-Official Otaku Boards Art Championships Sign-ups!
Narius replied to a topic in Creative Works
Well considering he said he would post everything at the beginning of each round I am guessing I should wait until the beginning of the round to find out what I should draw....or perhaps I will just sit here and draw a vast variety of things and perhaps one will be what I need ^^;. -
"Love is only an abstract term, It can't break down stuff." anywhooo, The ideal of Love has been obscured to no extent. Replaced mostly with lust. I've had my fair share of heartbreak, then realized I've told said person far too much and let them get way to close. Meh, might just be the ramblings of a relatively young guy but love sucks.

Nice to know what one person thinks, one more person than what replied last time.....anyways as for the BG graphic, hybrid of a few stock images, and the square thingies are a mystery to even myself.

Anime What do you think is the strongest trap card(s)
Narius replied to LastSheikah's topic in Otaku Central
I like Magical Cylinder, though I would also have to say I love my Bottemless Trap Hole. -
Originally posted by REVENGE2 Eh. It's not real enough for me, though. I know, I know - it's an anime. but I generally like a degree of realism. Cell was poorly designed if he's supposed to be 'perfect', and that's not something someone should overlook. Plus in a lot of early drawings of Perfect Cell, his nose lookes a bit big. Just like how SSj 2 Vegeta's early designs look silly - look at his hair! Oh, you can have villains people like. Everyone loves Artemis Entreri or Unicron. Unicron...mm....now that was a villain.
Villians people end up liking, villians people were meant to like, not so much.
-
You sure enjoy sticking to the basics don't ya? Good job none the less.
-
Akira Toriyama himself did not put as much thought into the creation of his characters as you people do. Cell is arogant for the simple fact that people in general dislike arrogance, villians are made for people to dislike so they will watch until the villians are defeated. If they aren't disliked they put something else in the character traits to make you want to watch till the end anyways.

Due to a secret ending in the Chrono Trigger PSX version many of us Chrono Freaks have come to believe Chrono Break is to be a direct sequel to Chrono Trigger (Chrono Cross sucked in comparison to its predecessor). I would tell you the ending, but don't want to ruin it. It involves a King though....you know like a certain king that became that way in a certain way..... ok thats more than I needed to say...
-
I believe it may be refering to mainly playable, main characters. Plus Sephiroth is a secret character. And the rest were jokes at the start. Tidus was like two years old. Squall and Cloud being two of the most well known and most important fixtures in recent FF history it would make sense. Considering also that both Squall and Cloud were main parts of the storyline in Kingdom Hearts while, Tidus, wakka and the rest were simply there at the begining. Square is known, as any one knows, to leave hints towards future games in secret endings, it would be no surprise at all for them to leave a hint towards KH in ff9.
-
*cough* Kingdom Hearts *cough* Squall and Cloud are both enemies at a time so it would make sense.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve The intelligent person wouldn't put themselves in that position to begin with. I've never been in a fight, nor have I been put in a position like that. I know when to walk away, I know when to shut up, and I know that I don't have to use physical violence to proove any point to anybody.
I never understood this point, you don't have to punch a guy in the face sure. You technically don't have to do alot of things. You don't have to argue with him in the first place, you don't have to retaliate when he goes after you, you don't have to run away. Its what you decide to do, Fighting is people's way of showing their dominance over the situation. Unless they are simply sadistic and like bloody faces, other than that its generally to make sure people have a certain view point of them. Then you can argue that there is no reason to conform to their opinions, but by not conforming to that ideal, you conform to another one because there is no original idea anymore, and when you get an original idea before you even utter a word about it is stolen in every possible way. So one way or the other fighting is not "Stupid" its some peoples perception of what to do, your perception is to decide whether to walk away or not, thats not what alot of people will do. Its not because their stupid, its because thats what they've learned to do.

I don't believe anyone who says they get in fights, don't ask me why, but in my experience their just trying to show off and its annoying.
Originally posted by Justin Perhaps I misunderstood your staement, Narius, but it America today it's the monority community that gets to crack all the jokes. Now, I think to a certain extent the white community asked for it, after years of slavery, segregation, and opression; but shouldn't it be about time to put a stop to hate, period?
....you don't get out much do you? White people not cracking jokes about minorities.......right....you've live in your basement for how long now?
I mean, look at BET, for example: What does it stand for? Black Entertainment Television. Now, I'd like to what happenes to the guy who creates Caucasion Entertainment Television.
yeah generally they just cut out the "Caucasion Entertainment" and leave it as: Television. If ya havent noticed, 90% of programming is still Caucasion based programming.
Granted, that issue is not entirely one-sided, but you must at least admit that all sides have contributed more wrong than right. -Justin
Its human nature, everyone causes wrong, but that doesn't mean we should do wrong back just cuz. Just cuz some African American makes fun of you doesn't mean you should hate all African Americans, and vice versa, I mean its common courtest and people are acting like they don't even have that decensy inside of them.
