Art The Desktop Screenshots/Wallpapers Thread [image heavy]

I currently have flip phones as a wallpaer and matched the desktop toolbars and all with the purplish color the wallpaper has. I like the way the creator did the colors and how the brushes were used. -
Senioritis, a word once heard in the auditorium by my principal and other higher-ups. I remember when they warned my year about it and how we shouldn't succumb to its bad influence. But hell, once third quarter came to an end. The majority of us seniors came down with the "illness" and little by little dissapeared from school grounds. The ones that had very high scores, took a vacation (If they miss the quarter or half of it, their average would be a B-.). Some with good scores, stayed in school to just hang. The others who didn't give a poop (Whether good or bad grades), just did a mixture of the two listed earlier. I was in the second category and really didn't stress all that much. My grades where in the A's and B's (If not my mom would send me to the hospital.), so I relaxed and made memories of my last year there. I kind of miss my last year and wish I could go back and do it over again (Just once though). Overall, it's the last year of high school life. A lot of students tend to act that way, because they want to get the hell out already and start doing things their own way.

I Forgot What You People Look Like (Image Heavy)

Odin M Yggdrasi- Digging the book, it adds a little danger and coolness to you. I wouldn't mess with you (You'll write my name down in that damn book. Just Kidding.). All the OB mebers are all either beautiful, cute, huggable, sexy and unique in many good ways.-oh and I mean it. Not that it matters much, but I'll add my part. That's me on New Years Day and I don't know what I was even thinking about. -
Going on hiatus in OB, is a regular thing to do in my net life. It can't be helped at all. It's either loss of interest, too busy with real life (But a rollcoaster it is.). But I won't deny that I miss it a bit and tend to come back. I usally always request a name change (Since I'm gone for like 2 months or more from OB.), post a bit, fill in few request in the art section and join an rpg. That's the ruotine, unless I become more interested in what goes on in OB. That's when I'll be on more and become active and a bit known with other members.

This is actually something I never even bothered to think about. But if I put thought into this, I suppose I would want to be turned to ashes. It's way better than decaying under the ground and having all types of bacteria (Worms , bugs and all that.) eating away at my body. All my body would go through is fire (But I'll be gone to even feel the pain) and I'll be spread into someplace significant. Thus, my ashes will become part of earth's dirt, ocean, ectera (Wherever I get tossed into) and that's what you call recycling!

Why not try one weekend from now? It's when school is usually off (Most are at home) and it's in advance. So they can make sure to make time for the gathering. At least something along those lines for a meeting.

I took at shot at it and the result is below. I'll be making another one, because I'm not all satisfied with this one. But at least for now, you can have something in your signature. It's also due to the fact, that you love Peach Grl too! I'll edit my post later to give you the avatar as well.

Good to know you have loving parents and that your mom is like your best freind. I think they will definitly bring you something (Probably not what you expect though...parents never get it right..lol j/k.). But to get to the point, I've had my mom and her husband go out for their honeymoon and man was I happy! I never liked the guy and my mom never went away before. Plus my mother and I weren't in good terms (Not that we are now). So I had the weekend to myself and I had like two of my best friends over. We did the girly thing and baked. Yes, our fatty selves ate it too! It was a blast and wished it could be like this at times. My mother was super stricted and over-protective. Mind you I was in college (Still am) and an adult. I couldn't even sleep at my best friends house. Overall, it just varies on your relationship status. Some are happy and others miss them. I certianly didn't think about it much, but she's still my mother; So I can't lie and say I didn't miss her at least a little.

Well that was very fun! Despite me having no artistic skills for that program (Any paint), I do say I manged to draw a face (lol). This was a very good idea and hopefully more members come and join. The recent one was done really nice, props to the artists.

Of course, I had to reply to my dear sister's thread! Wow, not bad for a GIMP user. I love the ones without text (The picture speaks for itself) and the other two don't go with the text style. It's also, because the baner has enough going on, that no matter what text goes on...it'll just over crowd it. The kitty one is just too cute and funny! But I do say, the font should be a smaller. Overall, keep it up and you'll be very good at this. You already show promise with your sense of taste and creativity. Also, can I use the avatar and the banners or do I have to wait? P.S...Awww your so sweet Steph! Thank you and you are also a wonderful person.

Of course (No spoilers!), an idea was all I needed and thank you for the info. Upon Lionheart, I have not seen him around at all. But I'll pm and let him know. You can always try IMing him.

Well in my character profile, I added the fact that she was residing in Point City (Which is the capital). I was wondering if it was ok...or should I wait for the rpg to start and see where everyone else is from? My question sounds confusing, but yea. Also, is there any idea how the rpg will start off?

1. Fruits Basket 2. My-Hime 3. Slayers 4. Sailor Moon Slayers....Lina and her small boobs (Oh yea baby).

Since Kitty didn't make the finishing product, I'll claim it. I want to keep this alive and hopefully more graphic artists will come. Edit: I'm done and since the hot chocolate thread mentioned starbuck's so much...I added a little something. Next- This one is for all the anime fans out there. Picture: Bleach Colors: Shades of Blue, white and black Qoute: Uryu Ishida

Alright, I know ages ago there was a thread about a book club. Where in the club, the group or leader decides on a book to read and discuss it within the group. I was actually interested in that and thought why not have it again (If there was one before). It would be nice to have members that love to read, join together and share their insights. It helps build up your reading level, meet new members (Actually talk to them) and talk about books. Not only that, we can also have a group project of writing (For the writers), discuss your own taste of books and such. It's just an idea and I would like to see others that agree or just put their input in this. If all goes well, we can start up a club and name it (It's always fun to choose a name).
One thing I want to contribute to this thread is the subject of thickness. I went to a gourmet South American hot chocolate place once and the drink was so thick that it was unbearable. I had to throw it away. I believe it was because they just melted a bar of chocolate into a cup...
I know the feeling, but the only difference was the maker. About a year ago, my mother's husband tried to make hot chocolate. Using a spanish type of chocolate bar, milk and goodness knows what else. When he did it and poured it with milk...it was thick and tasteless. I tasted more the milk than the bar...worse hot chocolate experiance.

Name: Rei (Ray) Age: 16 Organization: Singer Personality: -Calm and collective- Thinks before leaping into any situation and likes to analyze things. Has an ingenious visual upon any given moment (Meaning, she can make a plan out quickly and such.). She is very creative, peaceful and very motherly -Deadly and independent- Rei keeps to herself and enjoys her own company. She likes to do her job efficient and silent. So basically loves the clean quick kills. Bio: The long halls echoed with footsteps upon the white floor, the room was dark, shadowed and the only window covered by blinds that hid the sunlight. Her brother bursted out and grabbed both her arms. He held desperatly with his strong yet refined hands and shook her like a baby, desperately trying to seek the answers to his questions. "I'm sorry...I-I-don't know why it's like this!", Rei began to yell as hard as her little body would allow her. Her brother adruptly stopped shaking his poor little sister and began to laugh. All she could do was watch him slowly go insane and fade away from this world. Pulled out of the dream and thus out of slumber, suddenly trembling and aware of how cold the room had become since Rei had fallen asleep. She bolted upright atop the bed, disturbing the rough sheets that laid beneath her lovely figurine. Eyes closed once again, chin quivering from the cold. Streams of water turned into drops of water that were as beautiful as crystals, just as beautiful as the person who owned them. Her hazel opals held images of pain and sorrow of her brother. She hadn't dreamt of that incident for four years, but her pain was buried within her heart for six years. Her memories started flowing through all moments with her brother. Her brother telling her his dreams of operating a great mecha and fighting for justice. Then the memories quickly shifted to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with leukemia. Rei shook memory lane away and stood from her bed. "Brother...don't worry. I've taken your dream into my own. I'll fight for justice...just like we promised eachother long ago.", Rei said as she switched her a/c off. Rei peekd outside her medium sized window to look at Point City. Her home, her life and her job to protect laid in this island of isolation. She knew of sense of duty, but didn't care much about the outside world. But still, Rei had another little promise to uphold. Machine of Choice: -Model number- GSX-401FW -Unit type- Mass production all-purpose multi-mode mobile suit -Equipment and design features- Sensors, range unknown; nanomachine repair system, beam shield generator, beam pistol and beam saber and beam beam beam....just wanted to say that. Note: Yea...so I decided to go specific on the mech. Some things don't belong in that mech...but I mixed and matched my knowledge of mechs. If you want something changed, pm me. I'll post my bio up tomarrow, right now it's rather late. Oh and the mech is suppose to be less pink...but yea I had trouble with getting the right color!

Thank you and your comments are much appreciated! The Anime Beat was more of a professional approach (But I can't be like Retri....do good). I'm glad you have you have some favorites. Also, I would like to see your work, so hopefully you start up agian!

Oh my goodness, you totally make my graphics look like crap! I love the sense of personal style and techniques you use. Also the blend of colors are simply great and sirene. They all give off a warm glow in my opinion. Overall, the fonts as stated previously could be more creative (Even though you use affects). Try curving, flipping and all types of crazy ways, you never know what might work. Alterna- I love the use of colors (Blue, green and gray; Also the render choice was a nice match to the whole banner. But I do feel, like the render didn't pop out as much as the background. She doesn't stick out much basically...but even so I still like it! Just minor detials to adjust (If you want to). Wishing- I love this one the most as well! Love the colors, renders and brushes. It gives off softness and innocence. Overall, keep up the work and you'll be even greater! I should learn some techniques from you and I look forward to seeing more of your lovely works.

That's how it sums up (What steph said) and marshmellows are a good substitute for whip cream (If it's home made...not everyone carries whip cream in the household.). There's also the the gooey feeling and semi-sweet taste that I love so much. Overall, I prefer the small ones...it's just a decent amount and they melt quicker. On the side note, I'll mark London for a place to visit not only for the hot chocolate (Though it will be one of my goals), but for the sites and such. The flavors also sound yummy and soothing.

Goodness, what starbucks does everyone go to? I need to kno because the one here sucks badly. I triend their hot chocolate and to surpise it's not all good. Maybe it's the employees (But than agian its powder mix machine). I need to go to another one...so far I've been to three and no good luck with the hot chocolate. I also told my friend to bring me some hot chocolate on her way back from work...because this thread advertised it so well (lol).
Crap...you made me want to make one. That's a trip to my job (Since I haven't brought the supplies at the groceries yet.). Well ever since I was little, hot chocolate was my favorite warming tingly drink. Just recenlty though, I discovered that my job has this great tasting hot chocolate. Powder and water....but what a glorious taste it is! Of course, I do prefer milk than water. Overall, I finish it off with the whip cream, chocolate drizzle and chocolate shavings! I call it the, 'Triple Chocolate Madness'. Oh yea baby....I'm so original.
