Yeah, my favorite of all of them is gundam wing, obviously, the beginning of everything else, its the starting point, and one of my favorite series. Everyone has to respect what it started. This is also good, the story is very complex, and I like it alot, I actually like Fla, she doesnt really bother me, I can see why you would not like her though, but for some reason I can stand her.

My parents didnt have a problem with it (when I lived at home) I started watching in high school and they wouldnt care, but i was already 16 by then, so it would have been rediculous to not let me watch it. But still, at leat they werent that oppresive. :cool:

I dont really have trouble with that song. Its not one if the best, obviously, but Id still say that I like it. I love the series though, thats for sure. I like the english dub in this one too, its better than the subtitles, and i think the orignal Japanese voice acting was bad, not one of the worst, but if I have the choice, Im going with the english dubbed version.

Princess Mononoke, the story was awesome, I am a total Ashitaka fan. I also liked the voice acting, the all star hollywood cast made it very pleasurable to watch, for me at least. I love billy bob thorton in this movie, haha, he was great. :D

Is the story that similiar? Ive heard of the movie but I thought that only the name was shared, obviously I havent seen the movie. :o Are the characters and plot the same?

Thats true, maybe a few people get bad ideas, but just as many, if not more bad ideas are given off to kids from movies and video games. I dont think that whoever the people are who are opposed to anime can rightfully blame it for the effects that culture as a whole has given off.

i was under the impression that in the movies harry would be the hob goblin, but in the comics that is not the way it goes.

shes ok, along came polly was decent. stiller was funny at times, but it was more of a romantic movie than a comedy one, i wasnt expecting it to be funny at all, so i was a little bit suprised.

haha wow. It looks awesome. I really liked the first one, just like bean said, it was one of my favorite spy thrillers of all time. The minute I saw the trailer I knew I was seeing this movie, as I am now broke, that might be harder than I expected. Still, I cant wait for my next paycheck, because 8.50 of it is going right to matt damons pocket.

Ive found the controls rather straightforward, but i didnt get very far, I only rented the game for 2 days. I liked it better than orcarina of time, even though that is a classic zelda title. The graphics are better and the puzzles are more challenging and less repetetive. I cant wait to buy it, i will probably go late in the week or this weekend. :D

i think it is probably the tv. i think the plug in is just broken, and as it is used, it slowly degrades into not working. repairing the tv is probably the best solution, or buy a new one :p

Well, its not a positive learning experience, but for kids that watch "bad" of stuff, I think there need to be parents or guardians there to tell them what to do and what not to do, to tell them what is right, that is a parents most important job. You cant blame the kids if there are no responsible adults around to correct them, there are alot fo things that are done that shouldnt be copied, for young kids parents are the ones who should tell them not to do that kind of thing.

Chibi, I might not be younger than you, Im not 12, if thats what your saying, it was just very suprising to see some of that stuff in what I thought was an anime marketed to a younger crowd. In terms of them (the targeted audience) it was dirty.

I was very suprised by this the first time I saw the the uncut version, it was very graphic and dirty at times. Only having watched it in America until that point, i had alwys thought it was a kids show, something stupid to promote good values with the Sailor Says thing. How wrong I was! :o

Wow, thats wierd. I guess it probably was the fact that you were watching Sailor Moon that gave your parents their "verdict". Did they actually confront you about it? That sucks, my parents are aware, but Im not a huge Sailor Moon fan, so my choices are less.....dubious. :cool:

I think arkadyz has hit the nail right on the head, I like the idea of satire, honestly, I think a well done satire of anime would be really funny, there are some stereotypes that would be funny to mock. This anime however, doesnt do that, it is disappointing. It just feels over the top sometimes, I feel like it goes out of the way to make itself a satire.

It took a while for me to be hooked. At first it just seemed stupid to me for some reason, I guess I wasnt really paying attention to the story. Once I started to pay attention, I began to really like it, the stories are really complex and I love solving the mysteries for myself.

i was thinking it could be a tv problem, but maybe not, 50 cent might have a better answer.

What the hell is going on? I was waiting for this one, now i need to wait even longer..... uhhhh. Why is it being postponed? Is it just not ready yet, or were there problems, or did they just want to build suspense?

Why dont they just creatively schedule the shows, such as putitng hrem late at night when impressionable kids dont watch tv, which honestly, to my knowledge is what they do. I dont think the problem is with anime, millions of people watch anime and are prefectly fine. I think the problem could be that some wierdos that crave violence end up watching more mature anime, which is violent, that way their attitude simply comes back to some show they watched on adult swin or something like that. They cant ban it, freedom of speach/expression is the soul of this country, thats why we are a country in the first place, because some people decided to speak and act for what they wanted. This is rediculous!
