I honestly don't know what to think. I really think there may be some truth in it, but it may also be just an idiot hollering for attention. Or it could be a little bit of both. -Justin

It's been kind to me for nearly two years now. What amazes me is that I have spent, and am still spending, so much time on an online forum...o.O -Justin

I was speaking more in terms of a confilct with another regime. America has been criticized all over for the way it went in after the Taliban and other terrorist organizations responsible for the 9/11 tradjedy. Yet I find it unlikely that any other nation of the world(whether a part of the 'free world' or not) would handle things any differently. People holler about our keeping the POW's from Afghanistan locked up in Cuba because it's supposedly inhuman. How many of you know that those prisoners have actually gained weight since they were there? Granted, it's not America's normal policy to strike first. But all things considered, I think it's more than justified to hit Saddam. I mean, who knows...it might not be America that he'd hit first... As for the Europian dictator thing: I've given my opinion, and I stand beside it. If you want my reasoning, read the prophecies of Daniel in the Bible. Or better yet, just go browse through the site in my signature. -Justin

It states more than once in the Bible that the use of witchcraft, calling upon the dead, summoning Lucifer's power, or anything else related are wrong. Just thought I'd bring that to light. As far as the different denominations of Christianity go: I really don't like the fact that there are so many. I think we should all unify into one. Sadly, we can't do that and please everyone. -Justin

Bush wants to disarm Saddam BEFORE he blows up any skyscrapers and takes any innocent lives, idiot. If it had happened in your country, you'd be just as ready to go after the culprits--as well as anyone else who could possibly do it again. I find it funny that anytime there's a major conflict in Europe, America's allies call for her immediate assistance, yet when America has her own conflicts to deal with, our Europian allies criticize us and sit on their lazy butts all day. As I've said before, things would be much different if I ran this country. If that were so, you could really holler about a maniac in power. Anyway, I don't doubt that a dictator will arise in Europe again. In fact, I'm calling it. -Justin

Right... Well, I don't understand Japanese. But I'm sure you get the gist by now. Even if I don't, lol. :-) -Justin

That's my post, with a few more words, lol. The way I see it, if you hate this country so much, then you obviously have no place here. I personally think burning the flag of the country that provides you with so many freedoms is stupid; but I won't give a second thought to it if you do. Gokents; 'Hippies' can be quite a loose term. I suggest you try being slightly more specific because, if not for some of those Hippies, America wouldn't be what it is today...thus, neither would you be what you are today. -Justin
-
Well, I won't lose much sleep over someone burning it; but I think that if they hate America so much, why don't they just leave. There are so many things I would do different if I ran this world... -Justin

ASK HER!! lol...I'm sorry. I just had a couple isssues that are far too similar....lol -Justin

Try to keep this thing on topic, please. Thankee, thankee...goodbye... -Justin PS: That whole school chili thing...yeah...I'm sure none of you want the details on that one. :-)

I can only imagine how hectic a mature long-distance relationship could be, because I've never had one. I doubt I ever will. It's just not my cup of tea. But if you think you're mature enough, then I say that you should go for it. -Justin

[cough] SPAM [/cough] I have the same link in my signature, it's only a stupid game. Advertise this in your siggy, as I have, and there will be no problem. -Justin

I think it's more of a story about the brothers, than Joseph. But I alos think it is representative of Jesus in many ways, if you look at it: -He is the lowest, and least respectied among his peers. -His father has shown him much favor, and he is not liked by his brethren for that. -His brothers leav him for dead(the Crucifixion) but he is saved(the Resurection). Then, he becomes the most higly exaulted. Now for the part about his brothers: It is a moral lesson; warning against greed, hatred and jealously. It preaches about justice, mercy and love also. The Bible is really self-interpretive. What you get out of a certain passge may not be what I will get out of it. In this story I see the moral lesson on the surface, and virtually Jesus's story in a nut-shell beneath. So, it's all in what you see for yourself; which is going to be what God wants you to see. -Justin

I don't really know what people think of me here. I'm sure many don't know me well, firstly. The ones that do seem to generally think I'm OK. So I'll choose Average. -Justin

I would vote, if I was old enough. However, I don't like either candidate Alabama has in race for governer. On the one hand: We have Don Siegalman(I KNOW I didn't spell that right). He's got good ideas. An education lottery, many education reforms, and just generally ways to help raise the bar in Alabama so that we can hold a financial candle to states like Georgia and Florida. But he's also had several scandals and other things since he was elected last; and he's a Democrat Liberal and I usually prefer Republican Conservative. Then we have Bob Riley: I don't know much about him, save that he's much less scandalous when compared to the other guy. It's a close race, but I imagine Seigalman(whatever) will pull it out. I'd personally vote for him just because I like the idea of an education lottery and a Hope scholarship fund. -Justin

Mormans(sp?) don't believe in ingesting anything not healthy for the body. Mormans, by the way, are not to be confused with Christians. They are a sudo-Christian religion, no matter what they would have you think. Anyway, I'm more or less with James. I'm sure it has its positive effects, but no-doubt it has negative ones also. Either way, I don't really drink many cokes or much coffee anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me. -Justin

First of all, I doubt we'll get the UN's support. However, I do think Saddam needs to be taken care of. He IS a threat and anyone who doesn't believe so is blind. But then there's the matter of what to do with him. If we kill him, he may become a martyr. If we throw him in prison, has that done him justice? I guess that's all in your opinion. I personally see folly in making him a martyr(the same applies to Osama Bin Laden), but something HAS to be done with him. I think there should be a war with Iraq. Someone has to do it eventually. -Justin

I really don't think most people on these boards are mature to handle a long-distance relationship(myself included). But, to each his own. -Justin

Anime will the sayain race be totaly gone after dbgt?
Justin replied to Ya)\/(I-YuGI's topic in Otaku Central
This is really irrelevant seeing as how there is nothing at all after DBGT, anyway; but to satisfy my hunger to sound smart for the evening, I'll give y'all my theories on the subject: If there were to be a series beyond GT, the only way that it would be possible would be if: a) They somehow brought back Gokou and Vejita and all those other folks. b) Gokou Jr. and Vejita Jr. met some other exceptionally strong fighters and the story prgressed from there. Or c) Some combination of the aforementioned. The most likely of those is C. I mean, there can't very well be a DB saga without Gokou and, honestly, Vejita; so there's choice A...and they can't just get rid of Gokou and Vejita Jr., now can they? :smirk: -Justin -
The best thing you can do is try to talk it out with your friends. I wouldn't advise that you pick a fight with 'old buddy'. Just leave him alone, and he'll get what's coming to him in time. -Justin

TN, I hate it that you've been thrown into the 'hot seat' here for your opinion, but I'd like to make one comment to you, just so you can realize something: About your comment of self defense(using your opponents momentum, that thing); Many people don't know how to do that. That's something that doesn't come naturally because it goes against natural human instincts. People have learn how to control their instincts before they can learn to use defensive techniques. As far as this topic goes: Lay off TN, first of all. I don't completely agree with his opinion either, but that doesn't matter. It is his opinion and you should respect it, whether you agree with it or not. Secondly, whoever originated this topic(I'm too lazy to go back and look) you didn't really do the right thing. I understand that you felt the need to help your friend, but I'm sure your friend did something to provoke the fight also. A new kid isn't likely to pick a fight. What you did seems more like picking on the new guy to me. For the second encounter; I guess that's how you interpreted his kick. If you took it to mean he was trying to hurt you in some way, I can see the reason for your reaction. But if you know that he was possibly just messing around, I can't see any reason at all. -Justin

I don't think you should go looking for revenge. You should wait, and if they bother you again, only then should you fight. But, as I said on AIM, if you walk home a little roughed up, you'll be stronger for it...and you'll still have your pride. When you are fighting to defend yourself, or to defend what you believe in, it doesn't matter if you win or not; It's saying you fought that fight. It's saying you weren't hindered by fear and you had the bravery to stand up for yourself. And if you can say that, then you keep your pride and your honor, no matter what happens. Anyone who likes to go around picking fights deserves to bite off more then they can chew. -Justin

As I said, everyone in this topic is too biligerant. I never said whites didn't crack jokes on blacks. They do, and that's wrong. What I said was it's taboo for whites to throw racial slurs at minority races, but it's not as taboo for minorities to crack jokes at whites and each other. Now, you and Mnemolth have brought a little light onto this subject for me. With your comments about TV. You're both very right. However, what I meant was the fact that companies like BET and FUBU are openly and blunty leaning towards one race. Most of caucasion-based TV isn't as blunt about the fact that they are what they are, you see. And I agree with you, Narius in that: Just because one or two people cracked a joke on you, doesn't mean you should look upon anyone but those one or two as wrong. Again, everyone is too touchy about all this. Just because you disagree or see fault in someone's opinion, doesn't mean you have to get abrasive. -Justin
