Anime Cartoon Network Line-Ups...and anime on television announcements
Jeebs replied to Syk3's topic in Otaku Central
I just checked my digital cable TV guide for today. It says today's episode of Yu Yu Hakusho will be "Surprised to be Dead". (the first episode) The Adult Swim line-up is: 11:00-11:30: Home Movies 11:30-12:00: Family Guy 12:00-12:30: FLCL 12:30-1:00: Blue Gender 1:00-1:30: Trigun 1:30-2:00: Cowboy Bebop -
I don't think Spirit Reaper would be destroyed. Hades' effect negates the effect of monsters that are destroyed by fiend monsters.

1. Zuu 2. Land Worm 3. Tonberry 4. Adamantoise 5. Malboro 6. Garuda 7. Bomb They came from FFIX. Q(FFIX): What does Angel's Snack do, how much MP does it take up, and what enemy do you eat for Quina to learn it? (You only have to name one enemy)
-
It's printed in English, but it was released in Japan. Upperdeck hasn't released the God cards in North America.
-
Upperdeck hasn't released Obelisk in the English card game, so it's not really out. If you sacrifice 3 Valkyrions (each at 3,500 ATK), Ra would have 10,500 ATK power.
-
Effect damage is damage done by an effect like Cannon Soldier or Amazon Archer. Cards like Tornado Wall and Waboku protect against battle damage, so they wouldn't protect against Gravekeeper's Vassal.
-
Their names are Genbu, Seiryu, Byakko, and Suzaku. Q: (FF7) Where, in Shinra building, can you find a clue that
Cait Sith works for Shinra
?
-
My game cartridge says "The Final Fantasy Legend". It has a picture of a helmet and a chest with a key in it.
-
Yes, it can only be used during your turn. Its effect is used if your monster is destroyed when attacking and opposing monster and gets destroyed by battle. It's kind of good if you're trying to get rid of an opposing monster with an equal attack to one of your monster. Like if you have Thunder Nyan Nyan on the field and your opponent has a Gemini Elf on the field in ATK. You can attack there Gemini Elf. They would both be destroyed. Then you could summon The Forgiving Maiden and Tribute it in Main Phase 2 and bring back your Thunder Nyan Nyan.

A: Thunder God Q: In Final Fantasy Legends, what are the names of the 4 beast bosses you have to fight to get the spheres that unlock doors in the tower?
-
All dragons are switched to defense mode with Dragon Capture Jar's effect. You can still summon them, but they'd have to be in defense.

I did the same thing a while back when the boards were down. I would keep checking back and one time I forgot the "s". I thought that the boards were back up. I tried to enter my username but it wouldn't work, so I registered. After a while I noticed the hentai forum, so I know I was in the wrong place. I think they deleted my username because I've only posted there once.
Originally posted by Ben I've been wondering about something for a while that has to do with Jam Breeding Machine: Could you sacrifice the tokens to Set a monster?
Yes, you can. Jam Breeding Machine's effect says you cannot summon or special summon, but it doesn't say that you can't set monsters, since set monsters aren't considered summoned. It's the same with The Last Warrior from Another Planet.
-
I think it was Kuribo and Polymerization.
-
Yes, but you'd have to destroy or negate your Jam Breeding Machine first, since its effect stops you from summoning.
-
The dumbest mistake I've made is summoning Time Wizard, using its effect succesfully, then summoning Relinquished. Since they had no monsters on the field, it was defenseless. I meant to summon it if Time Wizards effect didn't work.
Originally posted by Luminaire Monster Card: Japanese, I have no clue what it is really called. Effect Monster Atk 2450 Def 1700 What it does: For every monster this card destroys, the card gains 200 ATK points.
I think you're talking about Sword Hunter. Its effect is every card that it destroys becomes an equip card for it that increases its ATK power by 200. My favorite magic card is Scapegoat. It's a good life point defender and you can use it in combo with a lot of cards. (Amazon Archer, Hysteric Fairy, United We Stand, etc.) My favorite trap card is Bad Reaction to Simochi. It's a good card if you use it with cards like Upstart Goblin, Rain of Mercy, Snatch Steal, and Eye of Truth. That way you get their effects, and do damage to your opponent.

I just got a monster from a Legacy of Darkness pack called Yamata Dragon. Yamata Dragon: Main Type: Fire Level: 7 Sub-Type: Dragon/Spirit ATK: 2600 DEF: 3100 This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase ot the turn that this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or flipped face-up. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, draw cards from your Deck until you have 5 cards in your hand. If my opponent attacks Yamata Dragon with an attack lower than YD's ATK (if YD is in ATK position) or DEF (if YD is in DEF position) and damage is done to their life points, would I still get Yamata Dragon's effect? Say Yamata Dragon is in DEF mode and my opponent attacks it with a Blue-Eyes White Dragon (3000 ATK). Since YD has a higher DEF than BEWD's ATK, damage is done to my opponent's life points. I think that I would still get its effect because I believe it's the same as with Masked Sorcerer, but I'm not sure. Also, I have a question about Thunder Nyan Nyan. Thunder Nyan Nyan: Main Type: Light Level: 4 Sub-Type: Thunder/Effect ATK: 1900 DEF: 800 If there is a non-LIGHT monster on your side of the field, this face-up card is immediately destroyed. Does it mean face-up non-Light monsters? Say I have a Man-Eater Bug (Earth type) face-down on the field. Would Thunder Nyan Nyan still be destroyed?

Gryphon Wing, Anti-Raigeki, and White Hole. Those are all that I can think of. Or were you looking for the cards that they counter? Gryphon Wing counters Harpy's Feather Duster, Anti-Raigeki counters Raigeki, and White Hole counters Dark Hole.
Originally posted by Masterdramon I have a question - you know how on the cards they have abbreviations to tell you what set they are from? Well, what do these ones on some Japanese cards mean? P5 KA PS MR CA MA TB LN
P5 - Don't Know KA - Kaiba Structure Deck PS - Pharoh's Servent MR - Don't Know CA - Don't Know MA - Mythological Age TB - Don't Know Ln - Labyrinth of Nightmare Also, Des Guardius is a real card. It's a Duel Monsters V strategy guide promo. G5-B2 MASKED BEAST DEATH GUARDIUS Dark/Demon/8/3300/2500 Effect: This Monster can only be Special Summoned, and only if you sacrifice 2 Monsters, 1 of them being a [Masked Magician Cursed Gyura] or [Melkid Four-Masked Beast]. When this card is placed in the Cemetery from the Field, you may equip 1 [Willed Mask] from your deck on 1 Monster on the Field. Shuffle your deck afterward. This is the card that gives Des Guardius the control effect: G5-B1 BEQUEATHED MASK Normal Magic Effect: Shuffle this card into your deck. Or, if the [Masked Beast Death Guardius]'s effect has been used, this card becomes an Equipment card. Gain control of the Monster this card is equipped on. Crimson: 1st Question: After you flip it over. If it's attacked and flipped face-up, activate it's effect after the damage step. 2nd Question: Yes

WW2: Garnet and Eiko: Water Shrine Freya and Amarant: Fire Shrine Vivi and Steiner: Wind Shrine Zidane and Quina: Earth Shrine Q: In Final Fantasy Tactics, how do you find Cloud and how do you get him to join you?

Kaiba talked Lumus into attacking his Blue-Eyes instead of Yugi. Yugi combined his 3 magnet warrior to form Valkirion and destroyed Des Gardius (sp?). When it was destroyed, it formed a new mask that took control of Valkirion. Yugi had one face-down card. Umbra used a magic card called Mascarade (sp?) to control Valkirion and attacked, but Yugi activated De-Fusion to split Valkirion back into the 3 magnet warriors and destroy the mask. Then Kaiba got around Mask of Restrict by using Soul Exchange to sacrifice the magnet warriors and summon Obelisk. then he attacked Umbra directly and Umbra fell through the glass. he pull out a parachute and got it caught on a flag pole and passed out. (I guess they tried to make it seem like he pulled out the parachute to save himself from falling into the portal to the shadow realm) Lumus' mind was taken over by Marik, who told Yugi about how his friends are working for him now. Lumus passed out and Mokuba appeared in a helacopter to pick up Kaiba and Yugi. Kaiba decided to help Yugi find his friends because Tea helped Mokuba escape.

A: Basic Insect; even with the power-up, it shouldn't have been strong enough to defeat Two-Headed King Rex. Q: In the first duel between Yugi and Pegasus, what scene from a future episode is shown.

This message was posted on Upperdeck's forbidden/limited list. "Due to the volume of questions we received in regards to this matter, UDE would like to put this matter to rest. The "English" print God cards are for distribution in Japan only. Konami of Japan is printing these cards, not Upper Deck. They are not Tournament legal. They have no effect text, no way to summon them to the field and no Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG© logo on the back of them. This is because they are not part of the game; they are strictly promotional cards. As such, they cannot be placed in your deck. They are for collector's purposes only. We also have no plans to produce these cards in North America."
