Thats a good question. I would have to say I liked it because it gives a sense of fantasy and its able to draw in its reader by the way the Japanese portray the characters unlike the other authors of the world. It seems that I have a sense for adventure. Every time I see the cover of a manga or flip the next page of one, my brain goes into a drive of expecting the unexpected, and yet when I do flip the page, I am always, on some degree, not expecting what happens next. Anime is a dream that you never want to stop and yet while you sit there, watching or reading it you realize, you are still in reality as you hear the clock tick away in seconds, and it is that realization every time that makes me like anime. "Yes the manga is an (almost) 100% gaurantee", but I must say that I haven't gotten past the" De Milo" part I need to get the next manga though so thats most likely why. Also my favorite character is...I' d have to say Dr. Jackal. He has mystery that I would like to find out about, more specifically his past.

The prettiest song that I believe to really feel and want to just sing out loud for the world to hear would be the the song from final fantasy, "A Thousand Words". I'd gladly give the lyrics if I could but it seems that there are many different versions of the song that I would not want to mess up with memorization or the verion I hold possesion of.

I have 1 through 12 and find that the adventure's behind the Get Backers are all and all, very amusing while at the same time intense with battles and past's that come back to bite them in the butt. And when I mention amusement it's major in the series but not overly so. It's to the point where you want to buy the next and the next. It is agreeable to say that the manga is worth the money, and a nice manga to pick up and read. :animesmil

I have read Golden Cain,Yellow, The Skyscrappers of Oz, Desire, Gravitation,Love Mode,Eerie Querie...that being all I can remember off the top of my head, yet I know that I've read much more. But I must say that Golden Cain is the sweetest of them all in my book. In fact it was the first manga of yoai I ever read and after all the manga I have read it remains number one. There's this new book out about the French Renaissance called Cantarella I believe, is steadily crawling its way up my list of favorites, has anybody else read it by chance if so please do give the true name of it I believe I have mispelled it. I agree with uchihagirl, I would need a preveiw of the manga first and probably a summary of each selection, also if something like that did come out, I would wonder... if I could split the manga's between me and friend so that we can pay half and half just to make it cheaper. Japanese music is easiest to listen to for me probably because I like things that are different from my own cultural music, I've taken a liking to Ayumi Hamasaki, I like her because of her variety of creativity in her songs, Utada Hikaru mainly by her flowing lyrics and soft melllow beats so far that I have researched, Asain Kung Fu Generation, because its all out there and I can't get enough, and BoA by the style in which the beats have pauses and accelerates without warning. I also like just about any type of anime music as long as it is not like the theme song from Hamtaro. I also have a liking for a great deal of DDR music, being more specific of my utmost fave, Naoki. In my opinion angel boy had the eyes of the crowd staring at him with his "bursting" scene if you ask me. He changed the whole outlook of the plot, by showing him as a young boy and what life as a mutant can be like without the "school for special youngsters".

From my observations I'd have to say girls. Most of the people that I know that are into anime are girls, but don't get me wrong there are also boy's who are Otaku's but not merely as many as girls.

Anime Which animes should be on or put back on t.v.?
Kidate replied to graysky07's topic in Otaku Central
Sailor Moon is great in my opinion therefore I would like it G Gundam and Card Capter Sakura back on. Even though I know that they are working on Sailor Stars which is supposed to be coming soon to America or something of the sort I still believe that the old series should be put back on. Card Capter Sakura was very good as well as G Gundam so I also think highly of them being put back on air. :catgirl: -
The shows that I re-watch most would be Cowboy Bebop which I have watched about 3 times, Trigun about 2, G Gundam which I know doesn't come on any more, about 3 times. And if manga DVD's count I'd have to say Gravitation 5 times, Friuts Baksets 2 times and Descendents of Darkness 8 times.
The anime that really dissipointed me would probably be G-Gundam. Ummm..This is Gundam, NOT Street Fighter, or DBZ thank you. Giant robots and DBZ don't mix. The Gundam designs were just laughable. The Kyack Gundam? The Mermaid Gundam? The Bull Gundam? Some one must of been on somthing. "KAMEHAMEHA!" Dragonboym2
In my opinion I thought G Gundam to be the best. I'ts very unique in its own way. The anime that is really dissappointing is as Raven's wing said hamtaro and pokemon. I consider them both as anime. Also pokemon has got alot weaker ever since thay started that new season. But that is only in my point of veiw. Hamtaro is annoying in just about every sense. ;)

I have the impression that you are talking about an anime called Kikaider. It's about a robot who has some type of of special drive installed into it. It has one evil scientist after him while he has one or several good scientists in his journey that fix him up after several fights that he has. Also his name is Jiro. Ring any bells? He's half blue/red, he switches back and forth from his robot form to his human-like form. He also falls in love with a human girl. I don't know if any of his sounds familiar but, if it does PM me. I can send you more details if you would like. :smirk:

Very, difficult to choose. So many anime peeps. Well here goes: Inuyasha from Inuyasha because he is gruff, strong and self-determined. Sesshoumaru from Inuyasha because he is swift and a bad***! Kiba from wolf's rain because he is hot! Domon form G Gundam because he has that hard side then that soft side kind of like Inuyasha. :p Oh yeah and I can't miss my man, KENSHIN from Rorouni Kenshin. I like him because he can have red eyes, then yellow eyes, then of course purple eyes. he's the best when it comes to the sword, thats for sure!!! BUT in my opinion it is DOMON that takes the prize. :D

I missed the first episode. Which was on an accident. I must admit case closed is very good. I do enjoy TRYING to crack the cases. :D I like it because it's different than any anime I've ever watched. It's also very interesting to watch. Quite fun to watch with friends.
