Heh, im guessing you haven't been to the [adult swim] boards lately. Im sorry, no offense to them...but they seriously have to get some of those (How can I put this nicely...) idiots under control or something. Seriously, half the people there watch one show and they call themselves guru's of (insert show here), which I think is an incredibly lame attempt at showing off one's supposed knowledge. You want to talk about posers? Well seems like anyone who posts something like...oh I dunno: "OMG I LUV TEH SHOW INUYASHA ITZ SO KEWL ITS THE ROXXORS!!!!!!!!!11!1" or somewhere along the lines of that...has either: One: A typing disablity, hey it happens. :D Two: Absolutely no common sense or respect for other people who read that post along with a complete absence of a mind, or any sort of knowledge at all. Three: Nothing better to do. Seriously, how many people do you know that haven't seen anything outside of [adult swim]? I always get a kick out of people who hear me talking about anime and they instantly bring up the [as] line-up. Granted, it is the only channel at the moment that shows any sort of anime to the public (G4-TechTV isn't availible to everyone, along with other channels...) so I can understand that. But still, when they just constantly bring up Cowboy Bebop or Trigun it bugs me. It's sort of a pet peeve to see someone just talk about them. You don't see many people talking in L33t about shows like D.N.Angel or Escaflowne...no it's almost always about a show on [adult swim]. The facts don't lie... Again, not to bad-mouth the [as] boards but 3/4ths of the users there don't have a clue what they are talking about sometimes. The ones who do are considered gods apparently. Again with the guru's...you ask them a question they can't answer and they get all po'ed about it. Lame. So what im saying basically, is yes, there are your handful of...stubborn, ignorant, hard-headed..."fans" out there. But there are a great deal of people who are at least intellgent enough to post something longer than one line or know more about a single episode. Another note: In my opinion...usually if they have a username with some kind of fanboy/girl crap in it like "ShippoRuLeZ" or "Spike555" and so on...are kind of a dead giveaway. Not all the time, but usually... I for one, am not trying to brag, but I have seen enough shows to know that there is more out there than Cowboy Bebop and Inuyasha. They don't know what they are missing.

Heh, yeah I mentioned the Pyramid Heads in another post here. Anyways, I just finished Silent Hill 4...and I must say that the ending of this game was probably one of the best in the series. The last boss fight is by far, the most chilling experience I've ever had. :D The graphic details:
Okay, needless to say this ******* was disturbing as hell. Way more than Silent Hill 2 or 3 ever played with my mind. I honestly can say, I can't explain half of the things I saw in the end fight...so bear with me. You get back to your apartment, and you are carrying an Umbilcal Cord with you. Let me explain: A serial killer, named Walter Sullivan (You remember him from the past games...not an actual character but written and read about in books) has gone of the deep end, and is killing people to full fill the "21 Sacraments" of death to please his mother...who he thinks is the very apartment you are staying in. Corrupted Room 302. The umbilical cord you are carrying symbolizes this...and is necessary to have unless you don't want to beat the last fight. Which, im sure you've guessed...is impossible to complete without it. Walter has gotten 19 of 21...ever closer to his goal. You are one of them. So was Walter. As it turns out, Walter had commited suicide awhile back. Where? In your apartment. Guess what? He is still there. Yep, that's right. You discover a hidden back room in your apartment half-way through the game. His body is still there. Weird...but when you comeback for the end game. It's gone, and a hole is in it's place. He is calling to you: "Receiver of Wisdom...come to me." Infact, you hear that from all the enemies in the game...but getting back on point; you jump down the hole. You wind up in somekind of ritual chamber. You see 10 bodies on the floor. In the game, Walter killed ten people to fulfill the prophecy "Blood of the Ten Sinners/Ten hearts". These are those ten people. Get a good look. You walk on to discover the Chamber of the 21 Sacraments. The final area, Walter is waiting for you. You are instantly thrown into combat. You have to kill the...thing in the middle. It's Walter...but what exactly he is right now is way beyond my vocabulary. Anyways, you have to kill him before your friend Eileen, who you had to protect through out the game, reaches the middle of the room. She has been possessed and he is determined to get her to sacrifice herself to his mom. She is #20 on the list, you have to save her. Well not really, if she dies you won't get as good of an ending...but anyways. You can't harm Walter until you use to umbilical cord to break his hellish aura. Once that happens, 8 large spears are released. Kill Walter. It's simple enough, but remember you are trying to do this before Eileen reaches the center of the circle. She walks faster or slower depending on how you cared and protected her during the game. If she took alot of damage...she will be quite eager to die. But if you kept her in good shape, she won't walk as fast. Once you punture Walter 8 times, he will keel over and mutter a few words to his mother and finally die for good. Now you get 4 endings based on if Eileen lived or not, and how well you tried to keep Room 302 "Sane" through-out the game. Okay, if you are kinda confused as to why all that happens...this is from a book in the game: If thou would stop the Descent of the Devil, you must bury part of the Conjurer's mother's flesh within the Conjurer's true body. Thou must also pierce the Conjurer's flesh with the 8 spears of "Void", "Darkness", "Gloom", "Despair", "Temptation", "Source", "Watchfulness" and "Chaos." Flesh being the umbilical cord, the Conjurer being Walter, and the spears being...the spears. I have to mention though, that the worst ending you can get is the most disturbing of all. Even more so than James driving into the water to die with his wife during one of Silent Hill 2's endings. You are found dead, along with Eileen in your apartments, horribly mutilated. This is the end message: As Room 302 has been fully invaded and Eileen Galvin has been sacrificed to succeed the Descent of Holy Mother, or the Descent of the Devil, Walter Sullivan is finally the winner at all cost. Henry gets the heaviest headache he has ever suffered, getting possessed gradually. He has become the 21st Sacrament as Walter wanted. Young Walter finally managed to get in the cursed Room 302 - his "mother", whom he has always been waiting for. "I won't let anyone get in my way... I'm gonna stay with you, forever..." - he says in satisfaction. The following moment, the news said that the police had found five dead bodies killed by the same way, and a sixth body who was identified as Miss Eileen Galvin, who was rushed to St. Jerome Hospital and died short after that. One of the dead bodies, who was male and disfigured, was discovered in Room 302 of the same apartment...
Disturbing stuff, eh? I really enjoyed it. Great psychological story and ending.

Yes, it's actually quite ironic how I mine looks the worst out of all of them. I did that one first. Time to upgrade. :D I did NOT use custom font, I hand drew all of that text in PhotoShop. The animations were the easy part...getting the right pictures and speed were the pain. Coloring was also a bit hard...lol.

~I didn't think this topic would correspond with the other anime music thread...but that's up for the mods to decide~ Onto my discussion... Music. Simply put, we've all heard the themes, we've all sung along with some of them, we buy the OST's just like we would the DVD's. But...sadly...not every show's music is up to par. And this is not a bias opinion, this is coming from someone who literally has stacks and stacks of OST's (Around 60+ or so...), all having different genres of music. So I'd like to think I have a good idea of a good song if I heard one. Naruto's Go is a good example. Im not a big fan of the show, but I knew that song had to be in my collection. Some shows have extremely, extremely awesome soundtracks...like D.N Angel. D.N Angel's Byakuya (True Light) is another great song. But by far, hands down...RahXephon's song Hemisphere is my personal favorite ever. Maaya rules. :D Okay, my point being that some shows are fantastic, but are ruined sometimes by an extremely horrible soundtrack. Full Metal Panic's OST was just plain wrong to listen to. And well Hellsing...well...awesome show...horrible songs. On the other hand, there are some shows that are "Near Crap" in my mind, but I watched the series knowing I had to get the soundtracks for it. Intital D, perfect example. I really don't like the show, I really don't. But the OST is probably one of the most catchy and upbeat ones I've ever heard. So obviously, I listen to it almost religiously...lol. I feel that some shows can save their merit by actually putting some thought into their selection of songs. It also has become apparent to me that some shows that are too ambitous seem to neglect their songs. Thus, ruining a would-be great show. So in closing, how do you guys feel about the music in a series? Do you think that some shows are definitely made better by their songs? Or do they have no real impact at all.
Wow, I must say those are pretty amazing. Very nice job. I couldn't even imagine of coming close to the amount of detail put into those. Again, very nice. I have to say that you really have a talent for that stuff. No seriously, those banners are pretty good...and that ain't the liquor talking (Im kidding...obviously...about the banners being good at least :D). But if you don't mind, seeing as this is a thread about animated banners (Or James's animated banners) I would like to share some of the few that I have produced. They aren't that good, but considering I have been trying to perfect computer animation for years now...literally, it's my college major...I would like to know what you guys think of them. Edit: I didn't specify before...these banners belong to me and my friends. Note: We all play Unreal Tournament 2004 and our Clan "tags" are included in them. In case you were wondering... Because the show only was six episodes long. It was six episodes of the craziest animation i've ever seen, none the less. It's funny because I have the dvd's and in them, the directors try to explain the show and even they don't even know what the hell is going on sometimes...lol. Seriously, my favorite quote is when the interviewer asked why Haruko was wearing that bunny outfit in episode 5, the director (His name eludes me at the moment...) responded with, "Well we thought it was funny...at the time. It really didn't have any connection to storyline." Genius. :D

I seek the Help of OtakuBoarders Assembled
Sol-Blade replied to DeathBug's topic in General Discussion
Yeah now that I think of it, there was one experiment done like this before last year at my high school. It's the same exact one Boba Fett's thinking of... Our teacher's handed around a pamphlet that called "Should we ban Dihydrogen Monoxide?" and we had to write a paper stating yes or no and why. It was so funny because I caught onto it but my friends didn't. Anyways, I still have this actual document right here if you want it. It's not copyrighted as far as I know... You would be surprised how many people wanted to ban...water. Dihydrogen Monoxide = H20. Di meaning 2, Dihydrogen meaning 2 hydrogen molecules and Mono meaning one, and Monoxide meaning 1 molecule of oxygen. Alas, so many people failed lol. Anyways, the point of the assignment was to get us to read the document closely and even do some research on it. Typing Dihydrogen Monoxide into Google easily gets you a couple thousand sites devoted to water (:D). Best part is where it says "Most of these deaths are caused by accidental inhalation of DHMO...", aka Drowning or Choking. -
Oh I got one: Fable Now don't get me wrong, I have loved every minute of playing it. I think it is one of the best games to ever hit the XBox. But, simply put, the story was weak and way...WAY...too short. To sum up what im talking about: The main story: Your hometown and your family is destroyed and you are trained to be a hero and seek revenge. The Twist: Your mother and sister are still alive. The real Twist: You can do it all in under 10 hours...pretty sad for an RPG. But the game is really awesome, and is so good that the shortness really doesn't bother me that much because I love restarting and playing characters over and over again because the character customization is really deep. Actually...wait...there's another flaw. Granted, character customization is deep, but not in the way you think and I thought. You start the game as the same white, blue eyed, black haired, 5ft tall kid. But a kid that, once grown up, will look completely differnent from say...your friend's version. So while you can't really choose who you start with, you can really go indepth with him in your adult years. Oh wait, another thing I was unsatisfied with. About 10 minutes into the game, I saw a screen reading "Do you want to proceed into your Teenage Years?". What the?! I have just started the game and already we are jumping that far forward?!?! Reluctantly, I said yes. Okay, now im older and I look it. Still can't really change anything about your character yet. A few more training sessions...and this screen pops up: "Are you ready to advance into your Adult Years?". Man, I muttered a few words I can't mention here (:D) and hit yes. So now, I've propelled forward from age 9 to 17 in half an hour. Fun fun fun! Okay, I read some of the stuff I have posted and it looks like im flaming the game (Hell, I am pretty much...) but let me say this, the Adult Years are so in-depth, so many things to do, so many things to see, so many things to collect, and so many ways to change your look (

Banned Books...that just rolls off the tongue doesn't it? I have heard only very little of it, infact I heard only a mention of it in today's news but I also thought that it was completely ridiculous. People are getting to concerned over "Harry Potter" saying it encourages kids to believe in magic and...I quote..."To run into walls for the sake of finding a train station.", I mean seriously...are you parents that shocked by the book? As for why they want to ban the book "To Kill A Mocking Bird" by Nelle Lee Harper is beyond me.

This reminds me of that Christian Anime Thread awhile back, someone was looking for something exactly like this. But now I've seen everything, I can die happy. Seriously though...I think the show has a corny premise and is heavily doused with Bibilcal References (The long, boring kind...no offense) to things unrelated to its (weak) storyline.
How is one to dance w/out looking like one's being electrocuted?
Ah yes, the question of questions. The most elusive of them all...more so than, "Why are we here?", "Where are we going?, and "Is there life after death?". But fear not, for I have the answer...if you wish not to know this knowledge, then do not read it:
You can't because you shouldn't care.
The whole point is to have a great time and socialize with your friends and other kids at your school. If we all went to a dance...to dance...well now that would just be down right weird in my honest opinion lol. Anyways, what I am trying to say is don't sweat it, don't care about it, don't worry about it. If other people actually care, then let them. It's their opinion, and you really shouldn't care about (Most people's at least...) other people's thoughts and views. If they dance really good, more power to them. No need to actually feel bad if you can't, and no need to put someone else down if they can't dance either. If I had a dime for everytime I tried to dance and...well how can I put this nicely...err...sucked? I would be pretty da** rich. But you know what? I just laughed about it later. Why not? I was there to have fun, even if the good dancers said "I had no style, no sense of patterns...". Thing is, that statement is wrong. It should read "I don't have their sense of style, their sense of patterns...", I dance they way I want to, even if it does look a little goofy. Heh, and trust me...it did. I know that because my friends saw me dancing as a Kodak Moment. :D Next time someone says you dance funny, say what I say,"You all laugh at me because I dance differently, I laugh at all of you because you all dance the same."

Well, I must say. Even I had shed some tears last night after watching last night's episode.
I have to hand it to them, that was a great death scene. Not like im saying death is great, but it was so beautifully crafted, it really touched me. Just the fact that in the split second the ice cracked beneath the jeep...all the sound was cut off except for maybe the ice cracking. It really sent a chill down my spine almost. Then you just see Hub (Hubb? Hueb? Whatever...you know who im refering to) just stop, like he knew what had just happened, but slowly turning around, with that look of "Please, oh god please don't tell me..." and then you watch the jeep plumment to the bottom of the glacier. Sad moment, but definitely a great scene. Especially when you see Hub finally letting her go.
Heh, well I can't really act like my screenname, Sol-Blade...the best longsword in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. I mean seriously...come on. I can't summon meteors down from the sky with one swipe of my...body? Getting around would be hard, not to mention akward. Everytime I have to go out, got to ask one of my friends if they can carry me around. Maybe i'll let them swing me around and threaten people in return. The worst part would have be dressing in the same clothing each day...that generic black sheath. Sigh...

Thanks for the feedback. Im still toying around with PS effects so I like to make interesting (If not confusing or amusing...:D) pictures. It's hard trying to understand some of the basic concepts even. Thanks again!
Oh, and Sol, i belive they got one becouse he was outta AK-47 ammo, pulled out his pistol, and dropped it. When he beant over to get it, a cop shot him in the face a few times.
Heh, I figured they took him out one way or the other. I was close...:D Anyways, I heard about that endorsement Bush got from the NRA. Seriously, that is so ignorant in my mind it hurts to think about it. I mean I was supporting Bush until now (No need to debate this here, so don't be quoting me on it...Im just saying) but this is just ridiculous. Seriously, how can you sit there and allow military grade firepower on the streets? That is just so irresponsible...I can't believe such a thing has actually happened. Who knows how many weapons were sold to potential criminals/terrorists already...why the hell did we give this thing an expiration date anyways!? Just wait till the crap hits the fan...just wait...then we will reenstate that ban and possibly 1-up on it and improve it. But that might be Too little, too late...and then what?
-
Personally, Im a bit concerned on the subject. I mean honestly, did the ban really cut down on the sales and ownership of automatic weapons? People still find ways around the system. The ban obviously makes it alot harder for people to attain auto-weapons, but if they are willing to go to that length to get their hands on some firepower than that should send up some red flags. This mostly pertains to the assault weapons. The M-14 and AK-47 (Which is sold here apparently) in particular, are the weapons that should be under lockdown. I mean there are hundreds of rifles out there, two aren't going to make a difference. But they seem to be "popular" among the criminal/terrorist syndicates. Anyone remember the LA standoff a couple years back? The one where two men where able to fend-off over 250 LA police officers with two assault rifles...two AK-47's. They went through at least 14000 rounds that day. The caliber of the rifle (7.62mm I think...gun enthusiasts, feel free to correct me! :D ) was more than the officers could handle. That bullet could rip through flesh like nothing in hell could stop it. They shredded the police cars so much that the police could be shot while using the car for cover (Which happened more often that not...). Even the armored SWAT vans were peppered with holes. Considering the avg. clip of an AK-47 is at least 30 (Probably 24 or 32 or something...) rounds, and empties out at least 4 rounds a second...that's pretty intimidating. And they were prepared too, boy were they prepared. They had at least 200 spare clips...each. Talk about packing for an extra-long trip. They also were donning several layers of body armor, everywhere. If you didn't know any better, you would figure these guys were gearing up for the next World War. The standard police pistol (9mm Beretta I think...) could not punch through that armor. The guys literally stood out in the open, taking shots to the chest left and right as they unloaded clip after clip onto the cops. The only way they popped the guys was by driving one to kill himself (Which puzzles a few skeptics to this day...) and by cutting off the other guy's escape route and then just unloading on him. The police practically had to run to a local gun shop and pick up heavier weaponry because the 9mm's weren't cutting it. If that isn't a perfect reason of why automatic-weapons should not fall into civilian hands...what is?

Anime Cartoon Network Line-Ups...and anime on television announcements
Sol-Blade replied to Syk3's topic in Otaku Central
Well either way, I want to see something new on [as]...anything really. The fact that the Inuyasha premeres will be pushed back (Temporarly I guess...) for the mean time are a-okay by me, its time for breath of fresh air. Literally... -
Hmm... Disney + Anime = The Twilight of the Gods and the End of Time. :D Seriously though, when I think of anime...Disney is NOT what comes to mind. Ever. They can think of latching on to the anime scene...but I can not picture them taking a serious holding of ground in the genre. This is all just speculation, but im just saying. If they ever were to broaden their horizons, best of luck to them! Besides, Disney...is well...Disney. A genre of its own basically.

Yeah you would be surprised how common Anime and Manga are now, least where I am it is pretty common. I would have never believed it if I hadn't seen with with my own eyes, but anime is all over my college campus. People I would have never expected to have even heard of series such as D.N.Angel or Naruto are now joining in my coversations with friends, like it was talk about an up-coming football game. I take an advanced drawing class at my school, I usually draw lots of fanart of my favorites series...but im not the only one apparently. At least more than half my class can draw some really, really good fanart. It amazes me how popular it is at my school, I mean even some of the hard-headed jocks here have gone to see the Bebop movie. Why even today, I overheard at least a dozen conversations about the new Ghost in the Shell movie, it's apparently the movie to see this month. I used to remember days when posters of models or cars lined the dorm rooms. Now, I have Eva and Hellsing posters on my walls. :D It's really quite ironic when I think about it.

Strangest song you've ever gotten stuck in your head
Sol-Blade replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Noosphere
Weirdest song ever stuck in my head... I would have to say for about an entire month (Yes, month...that ain't no typo) I couldn't get the Vengaboys song "We like to Party!" out of my head. I couldn't help but whistle along to the synthizers and sing along to the lyrics. It was a catchy song, what could I say? :D ...The Venga bus is comin' & everybody's jumpin', New York through San FranSisco, An Interstate free disco, The wheels of steel are turnin' & traffic lights are burnin', so if you like to party, Get on and move your body... You hear it alot now in the Six Flags commercials. -
I've heard some ridiculous things before. But that...that takes the gold. It must have been pretty bad (Not like it wasn't in the first place) if they were breaking and entering morgues. That is just wrong, on so many levels. I mean was it really that big of a problem to warrant a bill? Damn... Other than that, I really feel no need to comment on the "practice" of necrophila at all. Now that it has a "Set of Guidelines" for it, that just makes it all the worse. 8 years for sex with a corpse? That's the most idiotic charge i've ever heard...but necessary I guess.

Simply put, Onimusha 3's intro movie is simply one of the best CG movies...EVER. It is almost a short flick, running an impressive 7 minutes. Considering this movie is the one that plays when you first start up the game, that is pretty good. The movie is about Samanosuke taking out the an entire Genma army by killing the massive tank genma in the middle. It is truly a great sequence of events, as he makes his way inside the demon and fights Genma all around him until he reaches the inner chamber where two...two...impressive fight sequences occur one after the other. The first is when Samanosuke enters. Two bull demons fight him with double-sided spears and their brute strength and skill are too much for Samanosuke. But with his superior swordsplay he is able to fend them off (Quite admirably might I add...) until the demon Gorgon Dontes (Good lord how off I am...how off I am...that isn't his name probably. Yeah, it's not. ;)) finally calls them off and procedes to fight Samanosuke himself. The rest? Well you will just have to see for yourself, though I pretty much covered a good 1/2 of it, I didn't go into details with any of the smaller fights leading up to the last two. But they aren't to be shrugged off so easily. And his escape from the tank is pretty cool also, but I won't go there. :D Great CG from Robot, they really know their animation.

I can't remember anything significant that entire autumn season of 2001, but I can clearly recall everything that I did on the day of 9-11-01. Everything, right down to the smallest details. I woke up that morning, late for school. I quickly showered and dressed, skipping breakfast and the morning news. I always watched the morning news...not today. I could not drive yet, and I had missed the bus so I was hoofin' it to school. Along the way, I crossed a street and was almost hit by a car. Usually, I would have said a few choice words and gave him the bird...but I was pressed for time and made my way along when I heard him say a few choice words at me. I turned around and responded back, and this went on for several minutes. After a few interesting gestures, I walked away from him thinking "What the hell was his problem? Man some people in this world are real pricks. Why do I meet all the bad people in life...why me? God I hate my life...". I made it to school in time to catch my homeroom bell. I was already depressed but I was even more surprised to see everyone watching the classroom tv. They all were in this state of silence and were still. I could not see the tv screen from my angle, so I asked what was going on. I was concerned because even my teacher, Mr.Mendal, was transfixed on the tv with such awe, but no one said anything. I asked again..."Guys...what's wrong? What is going on?". Again, no one said anything. Finally, a girl named Jessica pointed at the tv. She didn't say anything, she just pointed. I quickly ran around to get a view of the tv. If there wasn't a better case of perfect timing in the world, it was now. Just as I whipped around the tv's corner and laid my eyes on it...the second plane crashed into the North Tower. I didn't realized it at the time, but I knew that this was something that was going to probably change my life, in one way or the other. Little did I know. I took my seat, and just stared on. I didn't mutter another word. The bell soon rang, but no one got up. Mr.Mendal didn't seem to care. Everyone was too moved by the images. Then...then...the first tower collapsed. I remember Jessica, the same girl who pointed at the screen before, literally broke out in tears and left the room shortly after the tower fell. I felt so disgusted...because I was just complaining over something so trivial eariler, and I thought my life was the worst in the world. I didn't realize how good I had it. How glad I should be to be...well...me. To just be glad that I could wake up, and actually experence like that near-miss...and think that was the worst thing ever. I almost broke out in tears. It tore me up inside. They played the footage of that man jumping out of the window of the 70th something floor. I couldn't bear to watch, not because it was just so wrong. But because I couldn't imagine anyone having to go through that. I couldn't imagine what would have made him come to that resolution. What did they go through? What was their pain, their anguish? I felt so guilty, being there in that classroom. Feeling all safe and invincible. How more conceited could I get? Anyways...that day I just went home. I had spent the entire day watching the news in Mr.Mendal's class. Not once did I ever change periods. I rushed home so I would not miss a minute of the news. I opened the door and saw my mom, my dad and my brother and sister all sitting the living room. They made a room for me on the couch, and we all sat there and watched the news together for the rest of the day. That night, I went to sleep, and felt that I would, from now on, have a postive outlook on life. To appreciate everything I have, mostly life itself. Trivial things don't bother me anymore. Everytime something small begins to bother me, I think about how good my life is, and that no matter what...there is always something good to look forward to. Always. Even if it is hitting the ground at 150mph... Sorry if that was long, I sort of got into it.

Well first off, I have to argue with you there Eva Unit 100. I think Wolf's Rain is a great series, the pace is perfect and the story is like none before. And the music is some of the best I have heard since Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion, probably because it was composed by Yoko Canno, who did music for all three shows. Witch Hunter Robin...that kinda just rolls of the tounge eh? I saw that show, never missed an episode the entire first run on TV. Half way through the series, I am lost beyond any hope of help. I couldn't figure out that damn show if I tried (...and believe me I have :D). So I gave up on it. I wouldn't say it was a bad show...just confusing. So I could see how that would be overrated.
As for Gungrave, never seen it.
^ Dito ^ Anyways, I have to be honest here. I grew up watching DBZ and I thought it was, at the time, quite possibly the best show I have ever seen. I didn't care about the script or the animation, I thought that show was just "sO fReaKiN' keWL!" back then... Now... I can't believe I ever watched that show in the first place. What the hell was I thinking? I mean come on, that show has some of the worst dialogue...ever. And I have seen more than my share of bad writing...and that was bad ;). As for Inuyasha being overrated...I think majority of it's fans are overrated. I swear, if I had a $ for every fan boy/girl (Not the quality kind...the "OMG I LUV TEH STEAM ROXXORS!!!!!!!!11!1" kind) that "loved" that show to death, I would consider myself to be pretty rich. This is more than evident at the [as] boards. They let that crap get out of hand. Oh yeah, I (Wait for it...wait for it...) like the show (Damn! You thought I was going to be different...haha you got punked! :D). I just don't follow it like a religion. It is a great show, it really is. But why it appeals to so many people is beyond me...
