What;s the most funnist thing you have ever seen?
Ryuma Asakura replied to WhiteAoiFox's topic in General Discussion
The funniest thing I've ever seen... At MTAC this past year, me and two of my friends had gone to watch all of the AMVs that had been submitted for the contest. (I think they called it 'AMVs Unfiltered') They told us to leave censorship at the door, and I really didn't pay much mind. I was thinking about my friend, who had submitted a very bloody Naruto AMV. Um...well... At the end, the guy lining them up and playing them said that the 'daylight' screening of AMVs Unfiltered couldn't show one of them, and he played it. It was a bunch of different anime plugged into one AMV, which we're used to, sure. Except there was hentai! And the song "Baby Got Back!" I think the worst part of it all was when the line about his 'anaconda' came on, and they showed OROCHIMARU form Naruto...oh, Orochimaru-sama, I can never look at him the same again... By the way, the mastermind behind that was Roll The Stampede, if you wanna look it up. XD It's kinda pervy, but good for a laugh. -
Wow... I've been gone for a long time (My computer completely died on me, wouldn't even turn on, and now I finally have the internet back...so I'm back now! XD), and I don't know much about the problem. But I do have something to say about the whole newbie matter in general. I'm not trying to rub anyone the wrong way, because I don't like it when people do it to me. But have you stopped to seriously think about the fact that we were *all* newbies at some point or another? You were not born with elite roleplaying abilities, I'm sure. And for a long time, I myself sucked. In some opinions I still do, and that's fine. There's always room for improvement. But the whole 'Oh, look, a n00b, how vile' attitude isn't really going to help the problem. I admit that yes, sub-par writing in an RPG is annoying. But you have to start somewhere , people. If anything, you might try PMing this person and offering to help them learn to write better posts? Give them a few pointers? If I, personally, had the opportunity to meet someone like that when I first started, I would have jumped at the chance. But seriously. I think the fact that there are newbies in the RPGs may be a good thing. It means that more people are interestied in roleplay.

Well, I have a few really great commericals in mind...but there's one that's my all-time favorite. I love the Geico commercial where they're all in the SUV, taking a road trip. The family is singing "She'll Be Comin' 'Round The Mountain". All seems normal until you hear an odd voice 'oh'-ing to a melody. and then you hear: "EVERYBODY WAS KUNG-FU FIGHTING, HI-YAH! THOSE CATS WERE...fast...as...light...ning..." And the car pulls over, the Gecko looking about at everyone in the car with a sheepish grin. And then, as they pull off, everyone is singing "Kung-Fu Fighting". I actually bought a shirt that said "Kung-Fu Fighter" because I like that commercial so much. ^^;

Writing When It Just Doesn't Work [Writer's Block] -- [E]
Ryuma Asakura replied to Lady Asphyxia's topic in Creative Works
Asphyxia, I really liked that. It's very good, better than anything I've ever managed to pull out of the "Magical Hat of Wordyness". I've never been to Greece, but I knew that about the culture...thank you World History...you kept my attention. I have to say (now that I'm back on-topic), you're really good. Maybe you could check some of my work for me? (That applies to anyone here!!) I'm registered on fanfiction.net under MilenniaKaiba...or just click this link here to see the...well, my only story up right now. I've started school so I haven't updated, but please send me a PM and tell me what you think, good or bad. (Shameless plug, I'm so sorry!) Great essay, keep it up! -Ryuma- -
Her sword curved up and through the Scorpion Tank easily, and a smirk crossed Imoen's face as she watched the EXP rack up. Three levels so far that morning wasn't bad at all...not great, but not bad. She sheathed the weapon, virtual wind picking up slightly as she tucked long silver hair behind her ear. She sighed and gated out, reappearing within moments. Wide violet eyes blinked as she heard voices where she had reappeared, wings flicking with interest. "It will begin soon. We can not rush this to fast or else it will fail. Besides it has already started but is not yet apparent to noticable. Soon we will will reveal the true power. Remember, fools rush in were angels fear to tread." "I knew you were going to say that." She heard the yell and crash, and almost ran from her hiding spot. She told herself no, and kept in hiding, listening to all the conversation. But she did something utterly stupid, something that gave her away. "Sorry. There was a cat." She couldn't help it, she laughed. And that was probably going to get her caught...

It was still dark in her room, but she awoke to the sounds of a slightly busy Venice street. She sat up, silken sheets sliding off of her arms. She yawned widely, touching her feet to the cool hardwood floor and standing up. A white linen nightdress falling down to cover her legs. She opened her drapes and looked out over the harbor at the rising sun. It was only about 5 am, and there would only be a few people logged in... "Savannah? Siete svegli ancora?" "Sì, zio, sono. Avete bisogno di qualcosa?" "Devo andare a Roma per la settimana... voi sarò alright da lei?" "Zio Marcus, ho diciassette anni! Sarò fine." "Il più caro... comportisi alright e denominerò." "Si, Zio. Sia sicuro!" She had to speak Italian with her uncle, that was the only language he spoke fluently...once in a while they would converse in English, but his was very choppy. Savannah was fluent in Italian anyhow...so it was just easier this way. Tossing black bangs from her face, she strode to her computer console, logging into The World. Username: SkyrunnerImoen Character ID: Imoen of the Velvet Dawn Password:******** She appeared moments later, standing in the capital, staring intently at the commotion near one particular shop. Rather than check it out for herself, the blademaster simply gated out to go train for the morning.

Request Custom Banner/Avatar Request
Ryuma Asakura replied to Ryuma Asakura's topic in Creative Works
:::Gawks::: Oh...pretty! Thank you so much!! -
Hi! I'm new to the boards, so...bear with me if this comes across a bit strange. I wanted to ask if someone could make me a banner and avatar from an image that I already have. I'd really appreciate it if a few of you--or even just one--would try. Now..let's see if I can't attach this thing... ...Okay. And if that doesn't show, I attempted to attach the file just in case. What I'd like is for the banner and avatar to match, with my username on both. On the banner, if you can make it like that, I'd like it to say "Loving Without My Soul..." You can change the tone or whatever you like, of coure...aritist's privelige. ^^ And for those who make an attempt, thank you so very much in advance. -Ryuma-

I am so so sorry! :::Feels rather stupid::: I'll remember to do that next time...thank you very much! :::Looks up, sees the Dante::: Oooh...bish. ^^

I've been mulling over this for the past few days, and then I found this forum, and thought: "Hey, I'll ask them!" Does anyone have any evidence of a Devil May Cry 3? A friend of mine was watching a program about E3, and she said she heard something about it. But I can't be sure. So, if you do, can you tell me where to find it, or tell me what you know about it? -Ryuma-
