Subject Number: #008 Real Name: Riona Sharp (Ri for short) Codename: Phoenix Age: 22 Appearance: See attachment. She has two tattoos, one on her left upper arm of a dream catcher with a wolf head in the center of it, the other is on her right shoulder blade, also a wolf's head. Pale skinned with bright blue eyes. Wears minimal jewelery, a silver chain around her neck with a wolf charm on it, a sliver bracelet and a silver band ring on her right middle finger. Usually seen with a cigarette in her mouth. Whether lit or not depends on where she is, but usually she doesn't care. Her hair is long, to the back of her legs but she keeps it in a series of braids unless she's going to bed or in the shower. Personality: Open and easily distracted she has a large heart and cares for everyone she becomes friends with. Carefree and full of laughter she can sometimes get on people's nerves with her bouncy attitude. Kind and helpful she can also be hot headed and short tempered if something gets on her nerves enough, though it take alot to get it out of her. Messing with her friends is a huge benefactor of this. The type of person who would the shirt off her back if need be to help a person, but will just as easily get angered over the ignorance of people. Even though she doesn't seem like it she is very mature just prefers not to show it often, her mind always working be it with her imagination or serious thoughts it always seems to be in motion, one of the reasons she's so easily distracted sometimes. Powers/Abilities: She has moderate control of fire, unable to start her own flame yet she needs a trigger, such as a lighter, candle or any open flame. Once she has control over the flame she can manipulate it into a blazing fire or just a simple small flame to light her cigarette, once she puts it out though she will need the open flame to harness it yet again. With no training she doesn't like to push her limits, to scared of what might happen if her powers were to get out of control. Writing Snippet: She was hiding behind the dumpster, her arms sore and tired, her legs even more so from her running, bruises littered her pale skin already as she ran her tongue across her bottom lip feeling for the split she knew was there, sure enough she felt it as well as tasted the blood from it. Sighing she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to steady her nerves as she listened to the older teens run past her, looking for her as hard as they dare. "Where did that little ***** go?! She can't have gone to far dammit!" She frowned as she heard the strike of a match, the whimper of a younger boy causing her to peek around the dumpster, her eyes going wide as she saw the young boy from the orphanage she had befriended and taken under her wing. He had tears in his eyes as one of the teens pulled his hair and yanked his head back. The leader of the rabble stepping forward with a burning match between his fingers. "She'll come running once she hears your screams." Riona felt her anger bubble beneath the surface, her legs tensing almost as if they ached to launch a kick into the teens face, taking a deep breath she stood and stepped around the dumpster. "Let him go." "There she is, good of you to show up Ri." "Let him go." The older boy shook his head, bringing the match closer to his face, the shadows of the sinking sun being illuminated by the flickering light and making him look sinister, his grin grew evil as he looked at her. "I don't think so, you see; you beat up a few of my guys and as a return gift I think it's only right that I put a hurt on your friend here." Riona frowned as she watching him approach her friend, her feet moving swiftly now as she ran forward only to let out a string of curses as two other boys grabbed her and held her back. "Now now, that's impolite Ri." She could feel her breathing getting heavier, feel her heart beat quickening; her skin feeling as if it were on fire, her heartbeat now pounding in her ears as she saw him draw closer and closer to her friend. She closed her eyes, not wanting to see the pain, wishing she could stop what was happening, the whimpers getting louder and louder as she struggled. "Leave him alone!" The match suddenly seemed to explode, the match head breaking into a shower of sparks and hot embers that the teen danced away from. "What the hell was that?!" She felt her temper rising now as he lit another one, this time, the flame climbing higher and higher into the air til it was nearly 3 inches high gaining the attention of all those around. They stared at it, transfixed as it began to twist and curl around it's self, leaning towards Ri as she grit her teeth, a animalistic growl bubbling from her throat, the small flame seeming to jump from the match to her hand making everyone jump, including her. Blinking down at her hand as the flame danced in her palm sending a warmth through her arm she looked up to see the other teens had already fled. Shaking her hand she felt her nerves dancing as it vanished and she walked over to her friend. "How did you do that?!" She shook her head giving the young boy a smile. "No clue, but it worked didn't it?" He nodded happily as she helped him to his feet, her own mind mulling it over again and again but never getting a decent explanation. Pushing it to the back of her mind for the time being she led the way back to the orphanage. Other Skills: She is proficient is her own style of fighting that seems to be a mixture of kick boxing and street fighting.

Ali looked away from the others, her eyes locking onto Demetri as he scratched his shoulder furiously, frowning she walked over to him and placing her hand on his forehead, her frown deepening as he pulled away with a growl. "Demetri?" He looked down at her, his eyes clouded white making her gasp slightly. "What's wrong love?" He shook his head, glancing at the rest of the team with a glare that concerned her. "It's not their fault Demetri, please calm down." "Why?" "Why what love?" "Why do none of them know?" Ali's frown deepened as her husband continued to sweat and scratch. She caught his hand and grunted as his mind melded with her's for a moment causing her to take a step back. His mind had been a complete jumble to her, not even feeling like her husband. It was than that something clicked in her own mind and she spun around, her eyes searching til she found him. "Tank?!" The teen nodded slowly as he walked towards his mother, a look of slight fear on his face. "Yes?" she closed the distance between them, putting her hands on his broad shoulders before pulling him into a tight hug. "We were told you were missing!" "You were? All I remember was waking up and Patch telling me where you guys were, so I came as fast as I could." Ali frowned, turning slowly as Demetri growled and slammed his large fist into the wall next to him causing dust to rise into the air. "Where? Where is it?!" She took a step forward stopping as Jason got in front of her and sounded out a deep growl. "Demetri?" He turned at her voice, his eyes white and sparking as sweat continued to pour from the man. "Where is it?!" Ali felt the air shift, felt the hair on her arms stand on end and felt the goose bumps rise on her skin, she whirled on the others. "Get down!" She hit the ground as the wind blast came from her husband, but it never hit, hearing the panting above her she rolled onto her back and looked up. "Marcus?!" "Thank the gods, I made it just in time." Catching a stray thought from someone unknown she planted her foot against his back and shoved him forward as the large black panther landed where he had been moments before. "Not you again!" Ali rolled to the side and up onto her knees in time to see Marcus run at Demetri. "Anomander, release him!" Her attention was diverted however when she suddenly felt Baast's foot connect with her chest causing her to scream and cough in pain. "Son of a-" Getting up slowly she caught another kick from the goddess who only smirked. "Were you not ready for me human?" Growling and snapping of teeth caught their attention as Jason tackled the panther, both clawing and snapping at each other trying to get the upper hand. Ali took the advantage and brought her right foot around and connecting it with the woman's midsection only to pull her foot back and kick again, and again in a flurry of movement, connecting a total of five kick before the woman grabbed her ankle and threw her. Feeling her back hit the wall she looked up meeting the goddess' yellow eyes, but as Baast bent down to grab Ali she let out a hiss and covered her cheek. Frowning Ali watching as slowly, crimson blood oozed from between her bronzed fingers only to become confused as the goddess spun around glaring at Jason. Than she saw it, the same scratch on the panther's face and she knew the woman's weakness. "Go for the panther! It's her weakness!" With that said she pushed off the wall and rushed down the alley away from the others but towards her husband and Marcus, she stopped short as the mystic landed close to her. "What's going on Marcus!?" "Anomander! He's inside Demetri, since Sybille took him over years ago, he's easy to use." "Can you help him?" Marcus nodded, a low growl coming from him she had never heard before. "I have to, for them...All of them. I will kill this bastard!" Before she could ask the two giants clashed again, the backlash of their powers sending her into the brick wall behind her, her head snapping back to collide with the stone, knocking her unconscious, at the same time Demetri crumpled to the ground breathing heavily. Marcus stopped his attack midstream than as he looked around madly. "Where is he? Where did he go?" The mystic continued to look around frantically stopping as his eyes locked onto the pool of blood left on the ground, his eyes widening than. "Where Ali?" His eyes found the blood again, left from her cracked skull, his should drowned out as the others continued to fight against Baast. "ALI!"

Name: Kayel Relanko Age: 26 Appearance: See attachments, First is before the dream, the second, minus the wings, is her in her ice armor, though the appearance is different. The armor actually takes on a canine look, her helm looking like the head of a wolf, her gloves shaped as the large clawed paws of an animal, her boots looking like the double jointed legs of a werewolf giving her a very beast like and fearsome look, the sword in the picture is also her holy weapon. Personality: Kayel is somewhat complex, she is even tempered in most situations, but does have an underlying temper than gets away from her from time to time. Bull headed and strong willed she bends to no one and would rather do things on her own than take help from another. Gentle and loving most of the time she has a sarcastic charm to her that seems to draw people in. Despite the fact that she does have a calm exterior she is quiet the hot head and and does fly off the handle rather easily if it's something she feels is worth it. Power: Kayel takes on the power of ice, though her manipulation is small at first, only able to summon forth small shards or blocks the size of large hail she eventually gains the ability to create an entire suite of armor of ice that is able to regenerate, but one flaw comes with this power. With it's advancement it takes on a small will of it's own which causes problems for her in battle. If the armor feels the battle is pointless, or her heart is not fully into the attack it will not come to her aid and leaves her completely vulnerable. Weapon: Kayel prefers to fight hand to hand. She uses a mixed style of street fighting and kick boxing all her own. Holy Weapon: Kayel gains a blade that reacts to her own emotions, somewhat the same way her ice power does, if her heart is into the battle and it is a battle she can win the sword will become sharp and deadly, but if she is hesitant, and the fight is pointless the sword will be no better in battle than a rusted butter knife. Bio: Kayel lived in the slums most of her young life, being 14 when the world became what it is now she can clearly remember her life before all of this, she had been born into a loving family, a mother, father, five annoying brothers...but that ended when the bombs hit. Her family having gotten caught in the blast she was the only one left. She did what she had to in order to survive from there, stealing, pick pocketing, even raiding dumpsters for enough food. It was during this time she found her calling, seeing the things that people threw away or took for granted when it came to food she began to experiment with different idea and things. She eventually made a living off of the idea becoming a small names chef of sorts. It was during one of her small catering jobs she met her husband. Him being a businessman she catered one of his events taking him for just being one of the spoiled rich boys she watched him as he talked to the other men around him, all of them seeming to hang off of his every word. Seeing him approach her she lifted her head higher and met his dark eyes, that was the night that seemed to start everything. He confessed later to her that he was curious about her, that he wanted to know more since she seemed to be the only one he was unable to manipulate. Taking an interest in him as well due to the passion he put into his own work she convinced him to spend a day with her, taking him ice skating she could only smile as she watching him awkwardly glide around the rink til he got the hang of it, to that end he turned out to be very graceful. Her hand in his as they simply glided along the ice talking, taking him than to a hot tea stand and than to her own home for dinner. It was a peaceful day and it started their relationship. After that he seemed to sneak away from work as often as he could to find her in her small shop, spending more and more time talking to her, still trying to get her to sign a small contract, the one that started it all, trying to help her small shop expand she had refused him wanting to do it on her own. She only laughed and shook her head, a couple of years passed after that, Desmond being the suave romantic type he took her to a small restaurant where he propose to her. Since than her life had been wonderful, til the night of the dream. She saw her, standing there looking more beautiful than anything she had ever seen in her life, her flowing hair and golden skin drew her in, and her voice was heavenly as she spoke. "My daughter, how you've grown." She wanted to ask what was happening, wanted to scream and run, but at the same time wanted to surrender to the warmth the woman was putting off. "You have been chosen, please forgive me for the pain you will endure. Your world is in danger, there is another attack coming, one worse than the last and if allowed to happen it will end humanity as you know it. You must not allow this to happen." Kayel found her voice than. "Who are you?" "My name is Gabrielle, you are a descendant of my noble blood line. Protect the innocent, do what must be done." Kayel covered her eyes as a blinding flash of light flared to life in front of her, she took a step back only to feel her foot slip and her weight shift as she fell into an empty abyss of darkness. She jolted awake, sweat pouring from her skin as she pushed her bangs from her forehead breathing heavily she looked down at the man laying next to her, her body shivering as she lay back down and pressed her self against him sighing as he wrapped his arm around her making her feel safe; the urge to find the address filtering through her mind lessening as she inhaled her husbands scent and closed her eyes drifting back into sleep. Ashen had no time to get her true gear together as she jumped from the bed, the body next to her moving at the same pace as they frantically dressed, she left her jacket on the back of her chair and didn't bother lacing her boots as she threw open her door and rushed down the hall. She grabbed a person as she felt them run by. "Where is he?!" "W-who ma'am?" "The Carrier! Alexander, where is he?!" "I-I'm looking for him...he w-wasn't in his room..." Ashen felt her heart stop and her blood run cold, she reached to her right and grasped the leather jacket she knew would be there. "Geralt! He's not there!" The man moved than, reaching down and taking her hand and racing through the halls leading her as he did, she strained her hearing to catch anything, anything at all that might give them some kind of hint. She could feel panic begin to well up in her chest. The boy was young, and uncertain, easy to manipulate and take advantage of. He didn't know if her and the other guard could be trusted, let alone who they truly were, and gods forbid if the poor child had already run into any of the other Boles that roamed around the mansion. She remembered the way he had seemed to cling to her without actually doing so, how he had gotten as close to her as he possibly could, it let her know that he did not know a real mother's touch and that saddened her heart. She closed her eyes against the burning sensation that was making it's way into the corners of her eyes, her heart breaking for the boy. She stopped suddenly, her feet planting into the carpet as he ears picked up the sounds of coughing. "Geralt, where are we?" "Not far from the library. Why?" "Did he look the type to you? What did he look like tell me in great detail!" She listened to Geralt's voice, she could hear the questions hidden in it but he knew she would explain in due time, once he was done she nodded and pulled away from him, the smoke she smelt in the hall burning her nose, she closed her eyes not concerned about the dark...she lived in the dark. She followed the coughing and soon stumbled on a small case, catching her self she hissed as glass bit into the skin of her hands, reaching back she felt the smooth, glossed surface of a lap top. "Alexander? Are you here little one?" The coughing stopped for a moment before it started back up again, she reached out and felt through the glass til she felt the boys smooth, young skin. Grabbing his arm she pulled him towards her, even against his best efforts which were weak due to the smoke filling the halls. "Calm down little one, it is I. Remember me? I swore an oath to keep you from harm, trust in me now." He stopped struggling and she could feel him look up in her direction and gave him a nod, she gasped as she felt a strong hand around her arm pulling her to her feet, she caught the scent of steel and felt her self relax. "Geralt." "I have a contact I know of that can get us safe, we'll go there now. It's not safe here for him any more." "Geralt, what of the others?" He knew she meant his brothers and even though she could not see his face she knew that he must be frowning deeply. "They can take care of them selves! We need to get him out of here and some where safe. Now!" She nodded and held onto Alexander tightly as Geralt led them through the halls, she grunted as he stopped suddenly, her chest slamming into his arm as they stopped, she felt the hair on the back on her neck stand on end and pushed Alexander behind her. "Stay close to me little one." He stayed silent as she heard the clear ring of Geralt's sword, the sound alone enough to give her chills. "Eclipse, get him to the foyer." "But-" "Just go! I'll meet you there." She pulled the boy closer as she turned them around and made her way back towards the foyer, tucking her head down every now and than as more Maldito came into the mansion. She crouched down pulled Alexander underneath her, hissing as glass cut into her bare shoulders, the smell of cigarettes and strong drink wafted around them and Ashen felt her chest heave, never so happy to have the second born and the second youngest of the Boles close to her. "Typhoon, Nightwalker...thank the gods." Cain's voice was strained and she smelt blood, Ecan's raspy voice sounding on her left. "We can't tank any one til that kid is safe and sound now can we pretty?" She felt her hand twitch, wishing she could do nothing more than punch the younger Boles in front of her, she held back and sighed as the steely scent she had grown so accustomed to invaded her senses. "Typhoon, Night, thanks. I'll take them from here." "You got it Iron Bars." "Hn" Feeling the strong hands on her shoulders, wiping the blood from her skin she leaned into them and allowed him to pull her to his feet. "C'mon Eclipse. Hang onto him tight you got me?" She nodded and felt Geralt begin to lead them away again, through the halls and danger til she smelt the smoke from burning wood, heard the crackle of the all to known foyer fire place. once inside Geralt closed the doors and barred them. She listened as he moved around the room, moving furniture around she blinked as she felt a sudden rush of fresh air, it cooled her skin and sent a wave of chills across her skin. "Geralt?" "Do you trust me Ashen?" She nodded with out hesitation, holding Alexander tighter. "Come little one. We'll be safe." He followed somewhat stiffly as Geralt lead them down a tunnel, turning this way and that every so often til it began to tilt upwards, Ashen having a hard time keeping her footing on the now slick ground, water and moisture dripping from the ceiling and gathering under their feet. She pushed Alexander up and into Geralt's waiting arms shaking her head as she felt his hand on her wrist. "Take him." "What?! Your out of your mind, it won't be much longer til they find this and follow us. I'm not leaving you here Ashen. No way in hell." "Geralt, our first priority has to be the Carrier. We have him safe and we must keep him that way. Go, take him and go." Geralt shook his head wrapped his hand around her wrist hauling her up to him and pulling her in close to him causing her heart to leap and her blood to heat instantly. "I'm not leaving you behind." He released her almost as soon as he had pulled her close, her cheeks burning now she pulled Alexander to her once again and followed the sound of Geralt's footsteps til she felt warmth embracing her skin, a young, yet somewhat gruff voice reached her ears as she climbed through what felt like a small doorway. "Soranno. I need a favor." Ashen frowned, she could feel the other man's eyes on her and heard the sound of Geralt snapping his fingers. "Focus, focus! Your as bad as my brothers!" "I resent that!" "Just zip it, Soranno, we found the carrier." She heard the intake of breath and held the boy tighter to her protectively, feeling her self tense in case she needed to fight. "Fates be praised! It's about time Boles! Hell, I thought it was just a wild goose chase." "No, it's real...and we need to get out of here as soon as possible. They found the mansion." Hearing the sigh she listened as the two men walked away and continued talking, she frowned and put her free hand on her hip, going ignored for the moment as they continued to talk. She shook her head and rubbed her hand up and down on Alexander's to reassure him. "Do not worry little one. If Geralt knows him...he is a good man, and we can trust him." Even though she trusted Geralt, as a member of the Crimson Guard, as her only true friend...as her lover...he was not always the best judge in character, and she could not help but feel just slightly put off at first as she continued to keep her arm around Alexander. Ashen sighed as she finally felt the advanced healing finish, her skin finally stitching itself back together as she straightened out her back and pushed her hair over her shoulder, pulling her jacket back up over her shoulder as well she sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Nine more to be exact Alexander. He is the oldest of 10 and trust me, most if not all of them are just as bad as he." Geralt blinked back at her as she turned her head in his direction, a small gracing her lips, so small that many would not have seen it, but he did and she knew it. She put her hand on her hip and tapped the toe of her boot onto the floor. "Iron Bars, is it about time to move the child?" She hears Alexander huff slightly and put her hand on his shoulder. "It is nothing against you Carrier. We are much older than we appear, please do not take it to heart. Iron Bars, when will we be moving from the hovel and back to our home?" "Soon Eclipse, soon. I'm trying to make sure we weren't followed." "I would have sensed it." "Not so sure about that...I just want to be safe. We have him safe and in our protection. I don't want to take a chance of something happening to him." She nodded slowly and walked towards him, following his voice as she made her way to him, putting her hand on his shoulder she felt her heart skip as his large hand covered her's, squeezing his shoulder slightly she stepped closer to him. "Iron Bars, we will keep safe. You know that right?" "I know that. But I can't shake this feeling that something is watching us." She felt him tense slightly and let out a breath. "Is is time?" He nodded and she moved away from him towards Alexander, putting her hand on his shoulder softly she gave him a warm smile. "It is time to move you to our home. You will be more comfortable there and much safer. I assure you, you can trust us." He nodded slowly to her, she could feel the movement in the air and continued to give him a warm smile, she jumped and dropped into a fighting stance as the door opened. "Whoa, easy babe, it's just me." She frowned as Cain walked into the room. "We have a van waiting out front to work as a decoy, Jancin and Job are in the back on their bikes, Kara is with them posing as the carrier the van and the twins will leave at different times giving you two and I time to get this kid to the house." She nodded and pulled Alexander closer to her hip as Geralt and Cain began to move about the room making sure that everything was ready for them to leave, she held him slightly tighter as they moved now, things went well from there. They managed to get back to the mansion with no problem, she could feel Alexander tense next to her as they walked through the doors. "Calm your self young one, no one here will harm you." She felt her self tense as a mass of voices reached her ears. "I can't believe it went that smoothly, I was expecting something, anything to happen." "Yeah, it would have been better then me sitting in the drivers seat of a damn mini van." Laughter echoed now. "C'mon Amby, you looked good in that wig! You made such a wonderful soccer mom." "Jules, I'll kill you. Do not tempt me. Whose idea was that anyway." "Geralt's." "Why doesn't that- Hey! Ashen! Welcome back! How about dinner tonight?" She sighed and shook her head. "No thank you Amby. I have told you before I am not interested." She knelt down to get to Alexander's level and gave him a small smile as a young woman walked towards them. "This is Haruhi. She will show you to your room. If there is anything you need Carrier do not hesitate to call upon those of us in the Crimson Guard. We are here for you in any way you wish of us." She felt him nod once again and turned around leaving, stopping as she felt a tug on the tail of her jacket. "Where are you going?" She turned and went back to him. "I must retire to my own quarters for the time being little one. If you need me, for anything have someone bring you to me. Do not worry about inconveniencing me." She left then and went to her room, opening her door she stepped in and shut it behind her gasping as strong arms wrapped around her instantly, a bristled chin grazing the skin of her shoulder as the man buried his nose in her neck. "Geralt?" "I was worried about you. Are you alright?" "It was just a graze Geralt. I assure you, I am fine." She gasped as he spun her around and hugged her close, reaching behind her and locking her door, scooping her from the floor she shivered as his lips grazed her neck, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled her self closer to him as he placed her on the bed and hovered over top of her, her mind drifting back to the moment she made this deal, it had been centuries ago, she had approached him her own selfish needs driving her. "Geralt...I wish to speak to you of something." He had been leaning back in a chair, his feet propped up on the foot stool, a small toothpick in his mouth as he kept his arms folded behind his head and his eyes closed, he cracked open his eyes looking at her as her eyes flicked here and there waiting for him to answer her. "What's up Ashen? What can I do for you?" "I have a proposition for you." "Really? Let's hear it." "Everyone has needs, and even though I understand they we do not know if shall be here tomorrow or not I think that...that is to say I believe we should possibly-" "Have sex?" She blinked and frowned. "Why did I thin you would have any tact when it comes to this at all? Please, forget I came to you." She had turned to walk away when he grabbed her wrist. "Hey wait, I'm sorry. I agree." She had felt her heart leap hearing him say that...over all the years he was the only one who never seemed to see her blindness before he saw her. Since that day, he had been by her side without fail and she could feel her heart pull towards him more and more now, and she knew that she was breaking the first rule of their deal...she was falling in love with him; the one thing she told him neither of them were allowed to do. She came from her thoughts as Geralt lay her back onto the bed, her bare back hitting the soft sheets of her bed. She sighed and closed her eyes as his arms wound around her and his nose buried into the top of her hair. Her mind going blank and dark as she surrendered to sleep, the warm feeling of his arms around her making her feel relaxed and safe. She was unsure of how long she had been sleeping, feeling her eyes crack open she sighed as her world remained black, the sheets of her bed unusually cold as she rolled over holding the sheet close to her self to remain covered she felt for where she knew the other person was supposed to be. The side of the bed cold and empty she felt her heart drop some and sighed as she heard the soft click of her door. "He must be off to find something to eat...must have taken him forever to find his boots as well...it usually does." Standing she found her robe and slipped it on, walking to her dresser she picked up her brush and began to run it through her hair slowly, pausing as she heard a loud thud come from the other side of her door. Standing she walked swiftly to it, her muscles tense in case she needed to put up a fight, that is til she heard the voices on the other side. She pressed her ear to the door lightly and listened as the struggle continued. "There you are! You son of a *****, why did you put me in the damn wig?!" "Amby, I have no idea what your talking about, and what was the problem? I thought you made a wonderful woman, and our mother was a saint I'll have you know." "Shut your face Geralt! They all told me it your idea!" "I seriously can't give you that information little brother. I'm sworn to secrecy." "Yeah cause you don't want your ass kicked into your mouth!" "Now is that anyway to speak to your big brother?" "Like hell your pulling that on me! Why didn't you use Higus or Obon? They have long hair!" "I told you, I thought you made a wonderful woman." "The reason we probably didn't get attacked was cause I scared the enemy off with that hideous piece of roadkill you called a wig!" "C'mon Amby, give your self more credit than that." "I'll kill you dammit! I'll kill you and hang your dead- wait....did you just come from Hawke's room?" Ashen felt her breath halt and her body go cold, no one was supposed to know about the agreement the two of them had come to, it was only supposed to be between her and Geralt and she felt her self press her ear to the door with more force than necessary to hear the man's response, her mind pleading for him not to mess up and cause more questions. "I well...I was making sure she was alright. She did get injured you know. And even if she has been here for a while she's still newer to the guard than the rest of us. I wanted to be sure her advanced healing wasn't taking to long." Amby remained silent as he studied his brother. "Than why is your jacket gone...and why are you bare foot?" Ashen grit her teeth and cursed him silently. So he hadn't found his boots...why was she not surprised by that fact. Taking a deep breath she could indeed smell the leather of his jacket and boots that were still in her quarters. "I took them off to be comfortable." She heard Amby chuckle. "Yeah, not like she would mind, she can't see those ugly feet of yours, though how she couldn't smell them is beyond me." "Hey, your one to talk, your feet look like grandfathers." "Take that back!" "Hell no, you started it!" Ashen shook her head and frowned as she threw open her door glaring into the hall. "Is there a reason you two are deciding to have a sibling squabble out side more door in the middle of the night?! I am exhausted and would prefer to get some rest. Now if you do not mind Geralt Boles getting your things and your brother and allowing me to have some peace?!" Both men looked at their feet like scolded children, Geralt scuffing his toes on the carpet. "Sorry Ashen...he started it." Amby took a breath and opened his mouth to retort when she held up her hand. "I do not care who started it, I am finishing it. I am tired sore and would rather like to retire for the night. Good night Amby, I am sure I will see you tomorrow. Geralt, if you wouldn't mind gathering your things." She listened as Amby said his good nights to his brother and left, moving aside for Geralt to enter she shut the door behind them and locked it, turning on him and planting her hands on her hips. "What have I told you about being careful Geralt?" "He came out of no where Ashen, how was I supposed to know?" She shook her head and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Next time if your that hungry, just call the kitchen from my room phone." "How'd you know I went for food?" "When do you not?" "Good point...do I really have to go back to my room?" She could hear the pleading tone in his voice and felt her anger break almost instantly, shaking her head she moved back to her bed and sat down giving him a pointed look, he chuckled and sat beside her. She shivered as she felt him move in closer to her and plant a kiss on her neck, feeling the shiver from her she gasped as he suddenly had her on her back and under him yet again. She shook her head but did not protest as she surrendered her self to him yet again, feeling her self fall deeper into a storm she knew she would never be able to come back from.

Ali moved through the streets with Demetri and Luwien, she glanced up at the young man in child form and felt her heart leap for a moment. He looked almost exactly like Jason when he had been a child...almost exactly like their father. She frowned more and put her hand on Demetri's arm to halt him. "Luwien, can I ask you something?" Luwien looked down at her and nodded slowly. "What were the names of your parents do you know?" He shook his head slowly as he looked back down at the ground, his face turning down in a slight frown. "My uncles last name was Hope. That's all I know." Ali felt her heart skip a beat, as she looked at him more and more she began to feel it quicken again, feel her head start to pound and her breath get shallow. "H-Hope? You said he had a s-sister?" "Yes, my mother. I was always told she was beautiful, she had snow white hair and pale blue eyes. Pale skin and a gentle heart...at least that's what my uncle would always say about her...He would also tell me of my father, that he was a pain, immature and reckless. But he always made my mother smile...made her laugh." Ali looked at the ground below her feet and frowned, she could feel that there was something missing, something that was important, she looked back up at him perched on Demetri's shoulder. "Lu...do you...do you remember your mothers name?" He nodded slowly, his face turning into a slight pout as he thought about his mother. "C-Clair. Clair Hope was her name. I do not remember my fathers name...Uncle never told me." Ali froze, she looked up at him, her eyes wide and her throat dry, reaching up she tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention and gestured for him to return to normal size, once he was his original size she studied him, not thinking it possible, but the more she looked at him the clearer it became. "Lu...was your father...a man named Exodus?" Luwine's eyes got large and he took a step forward reaching out to her, she lifted her hand towards him as well and jumped as a near by trash can upturned. From with in it came a cat, a large black cat, it's green eyes bored into her's. Looking at it she felt the frown take shape on her face, felt the fear bubble beneath the surface. She pushed Luwien back towards Demetri as the animal began to shake and grow in size til it was the size of a small bear, the large head reaching her chest and it's paws roughly the size of dinner platters. Dropping into a fighting stance she reached behind her and drew out the two curved daggers she carried with her now and held them infront of her. A cool, feminine voice sounding from above her. "Calm your self Archon...they are guests." Ali watched as a woman came from seemingly no where, she was tan skinned and beautiful, glossy black hair hung to her hips. She wore a purple cotton cloak around her shoulders and what looked like a gold dancers out fit covered her body. The golden color set off her skin and made her look exotic and rare. She felt Demetri move beside her and looked up, her eyes wide as she saw the look of wonderment on his face. "Demetri!" She grabbed hold of his wrist and gasped as he pulled away from her and continued to move forward towards the woman, she smiled sweetly and Ali gasped able to see the fangs in the woman's mouth, her beautiful green eyes suddenly shifted into a menacing yellow, feline in complection and look. Rushing forward she kicked Demetri in the chest sending him back towards Luwien who caught him with a grunt and held up him. "What's happened?" Demetri shook his head, his palm pressed to his forehead as she tried to clear his thoughts. "I think we might have just found our Target. Get the others here now!" Ali hissed as she felt claws dig into her arms, looking down she frowned as she realized that it wasn't claws, it was in fact the woman's nails, the woman looked up at her and let out a hiss of her own, sounding more like a wild cat that a person. "Why have you come for me human? What do you want?" Ali jumped back, retreating out of the black panther's line of attack just as a large paw swiped at her. "Who are you? What did you do to my husband?" Ali jumped, feeling the large hand on her shoulder she looked up, Demetri now stood beside her but he was collected this time and not easily caught off guard, the woman chuckled and flipped a long strand of hair behind her shoulders, smiling and showing her teeth. "I, stupid woman, am the powerful Baast. And you?" "We are the HDF, we've come to put a stop to you and your master." "Set? You wish to stop Set? How foolish. YOU must be the little one he has taken such an interest in." Baast frown now, her lips peeling back over her fangs to show them in a deadly fashion. "I'll kill you woman! I'll kill you and all your kind!" Screams erupted into the air, large cats began to emerge from the woodworks of the alleys and street swarming the people walking to and from home or work, Ali jumped and gasped as she witnessed a young woman taken down to the ground by a couple of the large animals and eaten alive. Baast's voice echoing through the mass of screams and terror. "Yes my children! Fill your bellies and quench my thirst for fulfillment!" Ali grabbed hold of Demetri's wrist and pulled him to the side as Baast suddenly launched at them, her heel digging into the cement from her lethal kick, the roar of Archon behind them made Ali move once again, this time back and grabbing hold of Luwien. "We have to think of something! Innocent people are dying!" Ali crossed her arms infront of her face as Baast charged in again, her heel connecting with Ali's forearms and making her wince, she looked over to see her husband wrestling with the panther as she fought off the master. "Where are the others! They should have been here by now!" She grit her teeth and pushed back wishing that Marcus were with them, she knew one way or another the Mystic would have been able to turn the tables, she could only hope he was having better luck with his own fight than they were with theirs. Ashen opened her mouth to ask about another story when there was a knock on her door, rising from her chair she walked to her door and opened it. "Hello Cain." "We have a problem, they found the carrier." She felt her eyes widen and shut the door, rushing to her drawer she pulled out her uniform and changed quickly, feeling Geralt come up behind her. "What's going on?" "They found him. The carrier." Instantly he was back to the chair and lacing up his boots, Ashen turned towards him. "Are you not changing?" "No time, we have to go and we have to go now. We can't let them get a hold of him." She nodded and laced her arm with his as he led her out the door and into the hall way, down the hall towards the garage, once there he helped her into a car and rushed around to the other side, starting the engine before he was even properly in. She could hear the engines of other cars starting all around them. "Do you know where we're going?" "Jules said something about the mall as we were loading up." "Are you all going?" "All but Tehol." "Why am I worried about that?" She gripped her seat belt and tightened it as he peeled from the garage and onto the highway, the drive took less time than she would have imagined but than again, it was a Boles that was driving. As soon as the car was stopped she had her seat belt off and was out of the car, her coat flowing behind her as she strode through the screaming crowd of people and towards the entrance. As she opened the door she was instantly met with the smell of leather and dodged the fist that brushed past her face. Grabbing the wrist in her smaller hand she twisted it, spun around and brought the arm over her shoulder flipping her assailant and throwing him to the floor with a mighty thud. She could hear the others rushing past her, Geralt stopping to finish the man that she had thrown to the floor. She strode through the mall, her hearing picking up the slightest sounds here and there and was stopped when a smaller body ran into her, her hands dropped to the shoulders of the person, the build and frame was more than enough to tell her it was a child, the scent of the child was that of sweat and dirt. "Your the carrier?" "What does that mean?! Why does everyone keep calling me that?!" Her grip tightened on the boy, he was frightened and she did the only thing she could think of, kneeling down she wrapped her arms around him and made a soft shushing noise to calm him. "Your safe child, we're friends. We will protect you be it life or limb." "I don't understand!" "Shhh, it is alright now child. You are safe. Just stay close to those of us in red. We will not allow any harm to come to you, you have my word." She felt him stiffen in her arms and stood swiftly, pushing him behind her, catching the scent she shifted her weight and swung her leg out catching her attacker in the stomach, hearing the rush of air come from his lungs she brought her hand around his head and pulled him down harshly slamming her thin knee into his face, hearing the crunch of bone and the wet sound of blood she shifted her weight again landing evenly on her feet, the man dropping to the floor with a groan, she turned back towards the child. "Boy, what is your name?" "Alexander..." "Very good, Alexander, I here by pledge my loyalty and life to the carrier, use it as you will." The child simply stared at her before whimpering as Geralt took out another from the opposing family, she tilted her head in his direction hearing him draw in a shocked breath. "Your blind." She nodded slowly. "Yes Alexander, I am blind, but I am no less able to protect you. Please have faith that all we of the Crimson Guard want is your safety." She pushed him behind her yet again, this time facing a woman, but the attack never came as Job and Jancin, the twins of the Boles, jumped in between them. Both looking over their shoulders with a large grin. "Eclipse, I say you get the kid out of here with Iron Bars while you can." She nodded and reached down taking Alexander's hand. "Please, I am asking you to trust me. Come with my self and Iron Bars we will protect you. I swear it." She felt him stiffen again, readied her self for the attack but only felt the pain as a knife dug through her flesh, holding back her scream she grit her teeth and tightened her hold on Alexander, the ringing sound of Iron Bars sword as he swung it around at her attacker. She took heavy breaths, her eyes closed as she tried her hardest to block out the pain as she stayed bent over the form of the boy, keeping him safe.

Jason stood shocked for a moment, her words heard just fine on his sensitive ears, his heart beat quickened and he let a wolfish smile cross his features before he dipped his head down and kissed her softly, pulling back his grin only grew at the blush on her cheeks. "I'm glad to hear that Pocket. I love you too." Her blush deepened making him chuckle as he swooped down and kissed her once again, his deep laugh rumbling through her as she hugged him tighter, he leaned back from her again, smiling still, pressing his forehead to her's. "It took you long enough Calypso." She frowned and smacked him lightly, his chuckling making her blush more. "I love you Pocket." She smiled shyly before pulling him down for another soft kiss. "I love you too Jason." Neos cowered in the corner of the room as Tank rummaged through the area, his eyes glowing white much like their father's but there was something wrong with him. "Big brother?" "Where is it?!" Neos whimpered and put his hands over his head as a book bounced off the wall close to his head, tears began to well up in the child's eyes and small sniffles came from him gaining the teens attention. "Boy, you know what I seek, where is it?" "Big brother...your scaring me..." The laughter that came from the older boy made Neos stiffen in fear. "Big brother?" Tank's hand lashed out grabbing Neos by the front of his shirt and lifting him into the air. "Wrong child. You might have escaped me once, but not again. Where is the throne?!" Neos shook his head, tears now pouring from his eyes as he sobbed, Tank threw him to the ground. "No matter, I'll finish the task at hand, and than come back for you. I must finish finding the 12." With that Tank stalked from the room, his hands held in an almost claw like form as he walked out, stopping and facing the little boy who still huddled in the corner of the med room, he pointed his finger towards him, Sly hissing before he transformed into the large dog, growling dangerously. Tank frowned before turning and walking away. Neos grabbed a hold of Gear's collar and pulled him self to his feet, wrapping his small arms around the large dogs neck tightly before clamoring onto it's back. "Find Daddy." Gear nodded and bounded from the room in search of Marcus. Ali sighed as she rolled over, the well muscled arm draped across her hip making her smile, she rolled over facing the man as his hazel eyes cracked open to meet her's a content smile spreading on his handsome face. She reached up and cupped his cheek as he pulled her close to him, his warm skin causing her to sigh happily. Putting his forehead against her's he kissed her slowly before burying his nose in her hair. "Gods Alex, that was amazing. I almost forgot how wonderful you are." She felt her self blush but nodded to him before kissing him. "I'm glad I remember you Demetri." He nodded, pulling her closer if possible, Ali's head rushing with images of a few hours ago, the passion shared between the two had been immeasurable. She looked back at him smiling happily. "I don't think I ever want to leave this spot ever again." He growled and buried his nose in her neck inhaling her scent and nibbling on her skin lightly. "I'm just so happy to have you back, after everything, your here with me." "I can't imagine being any where else." He smiled against her skin and sighed as they heard the buzz of his cell phone from his pants, he groaned as he moved away from her, her arms grasping the sheet to keep her self covered as it moved with him. She watched as he bent over the side of the bed and retrieved it from his pocket, her eyes roaming his scared chest. "Athens. Yes, she's with me. I can have the team assembled within the hour why?" She could hear the other voice speaking urgently through the phone, Demetri's eyes going wide before he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Yes, yes I remember. I'll have them all there in an hour. Of course. Thank you." He locked eyes with her and suddenly hugged her close to him tightly. "We have a mission in an hour. We need to get ready. You left a lot of your gear here if you just want to stay." She smiled. "I'll never leave again." His smile grew and he bent down kissing her deeply causing her to moan lightly. "You said we have an hour?" Demetri nodded, catching the glint in her eyes he pushed back onto the bed gently making her laugh lightly. An hour had passed and Ali paced the small room waiting on the others to show, all they waited on now was Marcus, she looked up as the door slid open, the mystic bent over breathing heavily. "We have a problem!" Ali was at his side in an instant helping him to a chair where he sat, his breathing harsh as he squeezed her hand. "Marcus, what's going on?" "Tank's missing." Ali looked up at Demetri, both of them seeing the same look of panic in each other's eyes, she looked back down at Marcus. "What do you mean he's missing?" "N-Neos came to m-my room with Gear...t-told me..." Ali rubbed his back trying to calm him, help him catch his breath, she looked at Demetri who let out a curse. "We have to go to London. Baast has been spotted there. The sooner we get her and eliminate her, the sooner we can get back here and find Tank." Ali frowned slightly before shaking her head. "No. We stay, we listen to what Marcus has to tell us than we decided. It's our son Demetri. I'm not about to just walk away without knowing what's wrong with him." Demetri pinched the bridge of his nose again before rubbing his hand across his face. "Your right. Marcus, tell us what happened." Marcus nodded as he continued to right his breathing. It was than that Ali saw the slight changes in his runes. some seemed as if they were fading, while others looked more sinister. She would ask him about them later, right now she was worried about Dante.
