The first thing Nayomi noticed was the smell, it was sulfuric and putrid, the second was the sound of crying. She zoned in on it instantly and made her way further into the town's entrance, There on the ground sat a boy, no older then 10. "Are you lost young one?" Nayomi knelt down next to him, his smell was normal, he was a human and it confused her why he was even here. "I lost my friend. She said she'd be back for me soon but it feels like it's been forever." More wails of dismay came from the boy as he covered his eyes and rocked back and forth, Nayomi stood and looked around, her gaze landing on Chiron as he walked up beside her. "What's up?" "Something is off with the boy...he is thin." Nayomi looked back down at him and noticed her team mate was right, the boy was thin, and pale. He had bags under his eyes which were blood shot. "Kid, how long have you been out here?" He looked up and frowned. "Who are you? Your not supposed to be here. Clair will get mad." "Who?" "Clair, my friend. She told me to stay here, that she'd be right back but she hasn't come back yet." As if on cue a small orange tabby cat trotted up to the boy and rubbed along his side. "Clair your back!" The boy reached down the scooped the cat into his arms hugging her tight. "Of course I am child. What did you think I had left you?" Nayomi looked at the others who all had a shocked look on their faces, Dassem blinked a few times before he pointed at the tabby in the boys arms. "The cat talks?" Piercing green eyes landed on the team, and Nayomi felt the hair on the back of her neck stand on end. Low growls emitted from her chest as she slowly moved in front of her team. The cat stared her down, ears pinned to its skull as a hiss rendered from his mouth, the eerie voice full of anger now. "The likes of you are not welcome here! Leave at once!" Nayomi bared her teeth as her senses went wild, the danger and tension so think in the air she was sure even the others could smell it. "We're not going any where Kitty. Not til we find who we're looking for." Another hiss, louder this time as the tabby's fur stood on end. "Fools!" The young boy turned then and ran into the village taking the cat with him, Nayomi shook her head and looked back at her team. "I think it's safe to say this is the place alright. Let's check it out. No splitting up this time, stick together." With that, she phased, the large black wolf now standing where she stood, Shaking out her fur Nayomi walked slowly into the village, Victor walking up next to her. "Is it wise for you to parade around an Amish village as a gigantic wolf?" Sighing Nayomi shifted once more and rolled her eyes. "I suppose not, just feel safer that way, I can sense things...better...?" Her words failed her as they suddenly found them selves in a crowded street, people shuffled everywhere filling the streets and the sidewalks...the sound was almost like constant sand paper being in use as they moved as one. Their movements were slow, and sluggish, and all of them...every last one of them, wore black. "Well...that's not creepy..." Nayomi covered her nose as the smell became stronger, brimstone and ash, sulfur and decay clogged her senses and made her cough slightly.Catching sight of someone familiar she motioned for the men to follow her, pulled on Victor slightly as she moved, they followed her til she had caught up to the man. He was tall, thick built and clean cut, the other 3 realized who it was as well. "Brick." He didn't respond. "Alpha agent Brick this is Delta agent Wolf speaking do you hear me?" She reached out and placed her hand on his shoulder turning him around, she released him as soon as he faced them, His skin was pale, and slightly green, his eyes were milky white and filmed over and Nayomi could smell the death on him. "Dassem, make the report...Alpha and Beta...have been confirmed dead." "R-roger that." Nayomi watched as Brick slowly shuffled through the streets, and as she looked around she found she could see the other 7 missing members of the two teams, all in black, all shuffling through the streets...and all presumably dead. Nayomi shook her head to try and clear it, the sight of Brick still throwing her off. "Alright, so there's one objective down...I think it's time we go to the church and see what we find." She led the way through the sea of people, trying her hardest to take shallow breaths, the close they got to the church the stronger the smell became; as they walked up the stone steps the tree next to the church swayed catching her attention. The tree looked old, almost ancient, the white bark gleaming in the dim light of the day and it seemed, very out of place in the dark town. "Chiron, remember what the old man told us? About the girl and the oak tree?" "Yes, I recall. Do you think that's the tree?" "Sure fits the bill wouldn't you say?" He nodded as they walked up the steps more and stopped at the doors of the church. "Alright guys, stay close to each other and be prepared for anything." They all nodded and slowly Nayomi opened the doors, the creaking was loud, and echoed throughout the empty building, her eyes scanned the dark interior; the dusty rafters, the old benches and there, in the middle sat the young boy from the entrance. "Well...I think we might have found a clue scooby..." The boy looked up, his eyes narrowing as he stood. "Leave, Clair hates when other people are in here but me." Nayomi crossed her arms and frowned. "Is that so? Well you can tell Clair I think we need to talk to her." The tabby slowly walked out from behind the boy, her voice calm and almost soothing. "What do you want?" Nayomi felt the hair on the back of her neck stand on end again. "We're looking for someone. I think you might know of her. You see she's a demon, but I also think she might be a witch and we-" Nayomi felt the wind knocked out of her as she hit he back wall, falling to the floor she shook her head and stood slowly. "Not. Cool." The tabby had grown in size, now the size of a large dog, her fur on end, purple aura waves rolling off the beast slowly; her green eyes glowing dangerously. "I am no witch! Nor was I ever! Those fools were to narrow minded to see that I had a gift, a knack for the earth and they killed me for it! I wasn't even a woman!" Nayomi walked back to her team mates assuring them she was fine, a small trail of blood oozed from beneath her bangs from the lump on her head. "So you killed them? Hardly seems like something a girl could go through with." "I'm not a girl anymore, you know that. I made a pact and now I have all the power I could wish for. No one can stop me." Nayomi looked back at the other to see them all checking their equipment, preparing for a fight. "I think we'd like to challenge that." The demon in cat form chuckled slowly as she walked around the boy, the group tensed, expecting the worst, her next words sank Nayomi's stomach. "You see, my life force is connected to whomever I'm feeding off of at the time. Right now, it's this boy. He's been perfect, young, full of energy. He could last me another year, maybe two if I fed him properly. So you see, to kill me. You must kill him." The others seems to wilt at this as well, none of them having the heart to kill an innocent child in order to complete the mission. Nayomi looked to the only person she could think to have an answer. "Chiron, anything we can do?" "I would have to think. Can you buy me the time?" She nodded, giving the Dassem a nod as well, watching as he put a hand on Victor's shoulder. "Consider it done friend." Phasing Nayomi looked at the two men standing with her. "Don't hurt the boy, go only for her. But make sure you don't do damage to her, remember her and the boy are linked. If we hurt her we'll hurt him." Getting a 'roger' from both men she charged, fangs bared and growls echoing through the empty church.

Etna woke with a start, a small shriek coming from her throat which woke Anue next to her. "W-what's wrong?" Anue let out a yawn as she stretched, then rubbed her eyes rather childishly. Etna on the other had had risen from her spot on the floor, her hair disheveled and sticking up at odd ends, she looked around and felt her heart stop. Looking down at Anue, who looked worse then she did, her white hair tossed everywhere looking as if it were alive. Etna watched as the human girl yawned once more before she flopped back down onto the floor with a soft thud. Etna took the opportunity to rush from the room and downstairs where she could smell Kurama cooking. "Kurama, Heru-:" "Yeah I know. Give him some space today..." "I know what day it is just as much as you do...but something doesn't feel right...I had a dream, a dream about Heru-" "Whoa, don't need to know." "Not like that you sick minded lout. Heru was in trouble...he was fighting something...something massive." "And you really think it was real?" "I don't know, but he's not here and something could have happened to him..." "Look, he's a big boy, he doesn't been a collar or a leash, or a babysitter for that matter." "I don't want to do any of those things! I want to keep him safe!" Kurama turned and looked at her, his eyes narrowed as she frowned back at him. "What?" "You want to keep him safe? For who, you or him?" Etna hissed slightly. "Don't act like you know me Kurama..." "I'm not, but I do know him. And I know this much, your barking up the wrong tree. His pack mentality would never let him fall for anyone. So I would get any kind of ideas you have out of your head." Etna hissed again, this time louder as she felt her hand become hot with her hell fire, Kurama shook his head and turned his back on her. "Look princess, you wanna get your heart broken be my guest. But I'm telling you he's never-" "I don't care about that Kurama. I don't care if he never looks at me the way I want him to, or thinks of me that way. I've always been one of his few friends and if I can stay that way it'll be enough for me. Now do you know where he is or not?" "i don't. He never told me where he goes on this day." Etna felt her heart sink. "Me either...do you know where he lived before he joined?" "Uh...I think up North somewhere...Connecticut maybe. I wouldn't take my word for it though I mean it's been so long I can't-" He turned and noticed he was talking to an empty kitchen. "She's gone." Aune stumbled down the stairs at this point, her wild white hair tumbling this way and that as she moved, she rubbed her eyes and looked around sighing. "Just us again I take it?" Kurama placed a plate of eggs on the bar for her and smiled. "Looks like it little lady." "Oh joy..." Anue hopped into a stool and began to eat slowly, her eyes still droopy and her movements sleep hazed. "Any ketchup?" A bottle was produced in front of her, giving a small thanks she squeeze some onto her scrambled eggs and began to eat again, it wasn't until a mug of coffee was set in front of her did her mood brighten. Taking a deep drink of it she sighed as the caffeine began to make it's way through her system, her eyes becoming more clear as her demeanor didn't seem to dark. "Where did they go this time?" "I don't know." Anue studied Kurama's back for a few moments before she nodded. "Your lying." He looked over his shoulder at her, she shrugged and set the coffee down, stretching her arms above her head she pulled her hair back into a messy bun and sighed. "So are you keeping me locked away in here again or can we go outside and do something?" "Like what?" "I don't know, your the one who apparently lives here. You tell me." She gave him a smile as he refilled her coffee and shook his head. "Heru'd kill me if I took you out you know that." "Yeah, well he's not here. And frankly I'm bored of looking at the same 4 walls now. The attack is over yes?" "Yeah from what I heard." "Alright then. There's nothing keeping us in this dusty old building is there? I'd like to see the sky again before I die ya know?" "You haven't been inside that long." Anue pouted slightly. "Feels like it." Kurama shook his head and leaned on the counter looking at her for a moment before putting his hands up in defeat. "I can never say no to a beautiful woman." "We're going outside?" He nodded slowly. "Finish your food first and we'll go from there." Anue smiled brightly and continued eating her food.

Alright, I've posted a little back story on the village the temptress demon. Now I also hinted in my post that all the people in the village are dressed in black. Every. Last. One. Of. Them. And to be honest, the image I get in my head of it is kinda creepy. Anywho I'd like us to catch up to each other and share our information before we head into the village itself. Once a couple more posts are made I'll take us into the village and post some more info in here about it too.

Nayomi's hand was still clamped down over her left ear. "Dassem, do you copy, Dassem. Report! Dammit they went out of range. I was going to tell them we'd regroup and check it out together. I don't want them running into anything on their own." "They can fend for them selves Nayomi. We need to try and gather information on Alpha and Beta." She nodded slowly at Chiron's words, knowing they were true, but knowing 2 other members of her pack were now 'missing' and potentially in danger didn't sit well in the bottom of her stomach. They continued walking, the static in her ear eating at her nerves til she pulled the bud out of her ear and let it hang. She looked down the road and took a deep breath. "Smells like there are some people this way. Maybe we can figure something out. You have the photos?" Chiron nodded and pulled out two photos of the prior teams who came to the area. As they walked a little more ways ahead Nayomi noticed that some of the people who were outside were retreating back into their homes. "Do we look that intimidating? I mean I know black is kind of a morbid color but sheesh..." It wasn't until she heard a young girl behind her mother's legs that she knew what the problem was. "Mommy they're dressed like the dead people...are they dead too?" Nayomi cleared her throat and spoke loud enough to be heard. "I'm sorry to disturb you, my friend and I have come looking for a few of our co-workers that were here a few months back. We haven't heard from them in a while and were wondering if any of you might have some information that we could use..." An older man stepped forward, his white hair and beard making him look almost feeble as his sun spotted hands clutched the cane he used as aid to walk. "My dear, who exactly are you looking for. I might be able to help you." Chiron handed her the photos, which she showed to the old man. "These 8 people. Have you seen them? They came here a few months back to study the wild life near an old demolished village around here and we haven't heard back from them." "My girl, those people left for the village just over that hill around 8 months ago, they never returned. I'm sorry for your loss." "My..loss? What makes you think they're dead?" "Young lady, no one who goes over that hill ever comes back. No one." Nayomi felt her blood turn to ice as she followed the old man's finger as he pointed in the very direction Victor and Dassem had gone." "C-can you tell me why?" "The devil has raised his playground in that old village. More and more people go missing every month, each one of them on vacation in these parts. Some of them hiking in the hills...they all go to that village...none of them come out." "What exactly happened there? Do you know?" His weathered face took on a deep expression as he seemed to be sucked into his own thoughts. "My great grandfather used to tell me stories, about a woman, no older then you, who lived in that village. She was special, able to make things grow in ways no one else could. Now a days we'd just call it a green thumb. Old lady Mithers is the same way ya know. Her plants are always bigger and prettier then any one else's. But this was back in the old days, where they believed in witch craft, So the lady was hung she was, hung right next to the church in the branches of the old white oak that still stands there. Story goes she sold her soul to the devil in order to get revenge, he let her come back to the dirt and while the town was in worship she burned the church down to nothin. No one left live what my great grandfather said." "So what makes you think it's come back?" "We hear them. Screamin, howling, wailing. Wanting nothing more then to die and rest in peace, only she won't let em'. She keepin em' live only soulless. They's can feel, see; everything. Knowing they ain't supposed to be live, but not knowing they be dead either. Caught in an eternal living limbo as it were." Nayomi nodded hastily and grabbed Chiron's arm pulling him with her as she began to back away from the crowd. "Thank you so much for the information. If you'll excuse us, we best be going now." "Good idea little lady. The farther you are from this place the better. Who knows long we'll be round for." A young woman clamped her hands over her daughter's ears and frowned at the old man. "Hank! Dang nabbit old man, why do you always have to talk like that?!" "What I thought you all said you were movin?" Sighing the woman looked at Nayomi. "Your not really here to study wild life are you? You and your friend don't look the sort. Are you here to figure out what's going on down there?" Nayomi saw how she held her little girl and sighed as her thoughts went to her younger brother. "Yes, we are. Is there anything you can tell me?" "May god be with you..." Nayomi smirked and crossed her arms over her chest as she cocked her left hip to the side, her smirk revealing her canines as her crystal eyes sparkled. "You might want to pray for them sweetheart. They'll need it." With that Nayomi took off at a sprint up the road heading in the direction Victor and Dassem headed. As soon as they were out of sight she phased, it was seamless and almost beautiful as her hair darkened and covered her back, morphing to her limbs which stretched and popped here and there, with in seconds a large wolf stopped in front of Chiron, her voice growling out from between her sharp teeth. "Get on." His eye brow raised as his face turned downward. "Excuse me?" "I'm faster this way. Now stop arguing and get on." "I can-" She snapped her teeth at him with a growl and nodded as he scrambled on to her back holding handfuls of the silken black fur. "Hang on tight" With a bound she was gone leaving puff of dust in their wake where her massive paws hit the dirt. Within no time she had caught Dassem and Voctor's scent. "Chiron, are they within range of the headsets?" "Not yet." "Dammit, keep trying while I follow their scent. They could be walking right into a trap and not even know it." "Victor would sense it." "A whole village of dead people and a revenge bent witchy temptress demon against two are not good odds." "They are next to a river Nayomi. I would feel worse for the enemy then those two." "Irrelevant." "Of course it is." She growled but said nothing more as she bounded along the trail left by her team mates.
-
Nayomi yawned, her voice keening out a whine as small tears of boredom escaped the corners of her eyes. Standing she went and looked at the time left on the flight and felt her heart jump. "10 minutes til landing guys, gear up!" She walked back to the cabin and began to gather the few things she had brought with her. She never carried much do to the fact that when she changed she was her own weapon. Her senses were already heightened due to the wolf inside her. Clipping her locator onto he belt she pulled her headset from her small satchel and wrapped he wire around her ear and popped the ear bud in, shifting it til it was comfortable. She looked around and noted that the others were doing similar as well. Nodding she felt the jet begin its downward ascent and held onto the back of one of the seats. "Alright, I'll fill you in on what I found out from Phantom about this. The village we're supposed to be investigating is in Amish country, to get there we'll be landing in a town a few miles away and walking from there. This town is relevant in our mission seeing as they have had 3 missing persons reports in the last couple of years." Victor's voice sounded from the back behind Dassem. A question she was prepared for. "How is it relevant? Has something happened to these people?" "It's my belief that something has yes. The last person to go missing was a child, the family dog was found in the yard where the child was playing sucked of life." Dassem frowned deeply. "Meaning?" "Something sucked the youth from the dog. The owner said she was only 2, but when she was found dead in the yard the dog looked at if she died at 12. I strongly feel like these and the village are somehow connected." Chiron crossed his arms over his chest and frowned. "Only one thing could do something like that. But it would be almost impossible for it to exist on this plane." "That's what I thought too, then I rethought it again, A temptress demon fits the bill perfectly, but the only way they can maintain on this plane is by feeding off of another source. But this source has to be alive, and innocent. What better then a child to do that?" Victor spoke again. "You think the child is still alive?" "Honestly, I don't know. All I know is this, the village apparently was burned down over 100 years ago, somehow someone has brought it back along with the people who died. Everyone in the town died int he church, it was somehow locked from the outside trapping all the townspeople inside and burning them alive. The whole town is there again somehow and all the people who were in it are there too. From my understanding they aren't a threat, they just walk around not realizing they're dead. Mindless corpses basically. Our goal is to go in and see what's causing this and put a stop to it if we can. Our secondary goal is locate and retrieve Alpha and Beta teams. Both of which were sent here as well and never returned." The jet jarred as it landed heavily on the run way, Nayomi flipped her locator on, watching as the others did as well. "Stay close to one another, keep with in headset distance and make sure if you find anything you call the rust of us. No one goes in alone and no one starts anything. For the time being this is strictly a passive mission at the moment. But if we are engaged, we will engage back." "Is that in our orders?" She looked at Dassem, her eyes hard as she stared at him. "No, it's not. But I will not allow any of you to come to hard understood? If we are attacked we will fight back and we will retreat." Victor shook his head. "Isn't it something like that got us stuck behind desks in the first place Wolf?" Nayomi crossed her arms, looking towards Victor to see his pale eyes focused in her direction. "In this case I don't care. Just because the people in this village are said to not be dangerous does not mean it'll stay that way and I won't just sit back and watch as a whole village decideds it wants to have us for dinner or something alright? If something happens we fight to get out and nothing more unless given other orders. I'm not doing this all by the book, our first thing on the list is to go around the town out side of the the Amish village and see what information we can get on the place and to see if any of the others can through here as well." The all nodded. "Alright, locators on? Headsets connected?" Getting nods from the others she turned and opened the hatch to the jet and walked out first, her nostrils flared slightly as she took a deep breath, scents filtering to her from all sides. "Alright, nothing out of the usual for now. I think we should split up and see what we can find, just make sure your within range of the headsets. Dassem, you take Victor and head left, Chiron and I will head right first and see what we can find in the town. Meet back here in an hour and we'll discuss what we've found. Also, like I said before make sure you keep an ear out on any info on Beta and Alpha." With that being said she gave the other men a salute, which Dassem returned, Victor simply nodded in her direction. She turned and walked away, Chiron matching her stride as she head Victor and Dassem head the other way.

Nayomi nodded to herself as Chiron joined Victor in the jet, if there was one thing she was glad for, it was that her team was at least somewhat sociable. Unlike Echo team...who talked to no one. As if drawn from her very thoughts the young woman in charge of Echo entered the hanger, a smirk on her features letting Nayomi know that she was about to start trouble and sure enough her high pitched voice rang out across the hanger. "Well well, look at this. Delta finally getting a field mission! How lucky are you dog breath?" "Not as lucky as you think Jolt." The woman scoffed and flipped her hair over her shoulder, sending small sparks of electricity along the strands; her control of electrical currents gave her respect throughout most of the women operatives, but her looks gave her respect with most of the men; which wasn't to far of a stretch for her looks to be honest. She had copper skin her yellow eyes looking wild and untamed; her shapely figure and jet black hair matching nicely...Nayomi on the other hand, Nayomi just disliked her. "Was there something you wanted Evea?" "Oh nothing, I thought you would just like some words of encouragement. That's all." "No doubt for only the guys?" "Oh how'd you know?" "Cause...for some reason you hate my guts?" "No see I don't hate your guts. I hate your looks. Besides me in this base people say your the most desierable woman that works here." "Some how I doubt that." "Well no one has seen you with anyone, most people think your deformed in some way. Either that or that men you run with are all-" A low growl erupted from Nayomi, she took a step towards Evea and bared her teeth, her canines standing out against her teeth. "They are my pack. I watch out for them and they watch out for me. They're my family and if I hear anyone saying anything negative about them in ANY shape or form they WILL answer to me. Got it Evea? Now if I'm not mistaken I outrank you and I want you out of here and out of my range of smell and sight." "The commandant will hear of this." "I'm sure he will. Now if you excuse me. I have work to do." Without waiting for a response she turned and walked away, going under the wing she began to check the wiring and made sure everything was in working order, the voice behind her made her jump, the echo of her head hitting the wing resounded through the hanger. "Jeez, sorry Nay. You alright? What are you doing under there?" "I was making sure everything was alright before we left. What are you doing here?" "I came to wish you luck and farewell. What are older brothers for?" "Besides being annoying? In all seriousness Jack, look after Alm would you?" "Our little brother will be fine. I won't let anything happen to him." He extended his hand, his thumb outward and allowed a small flame to come to life from his skin as she stuck a cigarette between her lips. "Heh, thanks Pyro," "No problem Canine." She shook her head and looked past her brother as another man entered the hanger. "Right, there's Dassem. Means it's time to go. I'll be back in a few days, or weeks...who knows with this mission. Either way you and Alm look after each other, alright? He always has a peanut butter sandwhich while he does his homework, get him up at 0500 so he can get his shower before school. Don't make him broccoli and don't let him over do it on the pepper. No sugar or sweets an hour before he goes to bed, and no milk before his training. Got it?" Jack blinked rapidly before turning his sister around and pushing her towards the entrance of the jet. "Jack did you hear me?" "I got it Nay. I'll take care of him. Promise." "And no parties. I always clean up after you two I don't want to have to clean that." "No parties, right, yeah, got it. Just go before you late woman!" She sighed and wrapped her arms around his shoulders hugging him tightly. "I'll be back." "You better be, cause if not, we'll starve. I can't cook to save my life." She chuckled and entered the jet with another sigh, looking back as Dassem settled not far from Victor. "Alright guys. Time to go. You guys got everything? Yes? Good." Walking to the cockpit she inputted the coordinates and hit auto pilot, walking back to the others she took a seat and reclined it back. "Get comfy fellas, we got about 2 hours flight." The nodded and got settled in as the turbine engines roared to life fully, the hanger doors opened and the jet took to the air.

This will contain mature content, readers be warned. Nayomi sighed as she set the papers down on the desk in front of her, she'd been here most of the night and to be honest she had no more of a lead then she did before. Chiron had helped a great deal, there was no doubt about that...but they were still going in mostly blind, and it made her more then uncomfortable. Pinching the bridge of her nose she pulled out a cigarette and lit it, her zippo illuminating the small span of her facial features for a mere moment. Leaning back in the chair, she blew smoke towards the ceiling like she always did, her thoughts running rampant, her frown getting deeper the more she thought. "You frown to much, you'll get wrinkles ya know." She started slightly, her having been so deep in thought she had missed the person entering the room. "Jesus Clyde...don't do that..." "It's what I'm good at Blayze, they don't call me Phantom for nothing you know." "They call you Phantom cause you can camouflage your self. And just because your great grandmother used to be a top operative around here doesn't mean you get special privileges. Now, what do you want?" "Hey, my grandmother was a saint. And I have some info for you on the area your heading to." "I said you great grandmother, and what info?" Sticking the almost spent cigarette between her teeth she reached for a pen and a flipped one of the papers Chiron had given her to the backside giving her a blank sheet to write on. "Hey Lilly was a kind hearted person I'll have you know." "I get it Talon, tell me what you know!" He smirked as she let out a low growl, a clear sign of her patience wearing thin. "There's a small town round abouts 10 miles from that village your being sent to, which by the way is Omish country." "Oh goody. So there's a town huh?" "Yup, and apparently there's 3 missing persons reports from that town in the last 20 or so years." "Gods alive, how long has this been going on?" "Well, first there was a older man, a woman's husband I believe that went missing, he just left for work one day and never came home, a few years after that is a middle aged man, close to 30 I'd say, same thing, left the town and never came back. Now the last one is the most disturbing." Nayomi looked up at him, he had long since taken a seat adjacent from her, chewing on a piece of gum as he rubbed and pulled on the short, thin beard around his chin as his thoughts seemed to over take him as well. "About 6 months ago there was another report made, this time about a little boy; no older then 4 or 5 I think, the mother had let him out in the front yard to play, which was fenced in mind you. Close to half an hour later she hadn't heard him come back in or heard the neighbor's kids come to play so she went to check on him...nothing." Nayomi frowned as she crushed the spent cigarette into the almost overfull ashtray next to her. "Nothing?" "Nothing, well not completely. There was a small clue, nothing anyone normal could go off of at least." "What was it?" "The family dog was laying dead in the yard, now this dog was apparently only a few years old her self. Still fairly young according to the reports, yet when she was found, she looked as though she was nearly 12." "Abnormally old for a dog..." "Yeah, that's what I thought too. Autopsy report showed that all the organs, bones, and blood vessels seemed to have been shriveled to almost nothing. Almost like something had sucked the life right out of the dog. They eventually just admitted the woman into a psyche ward and called it a day. Thought she was just insane or something." "Sounds off to me." Clyde nodded slowly. "Yeah I thought so too, never occurred to me it might mean something but I thought you might want to know." "Not overly helpful, but at least I have a small lead now. There's only so many things that can do that right?" "Only one kind I know about. Demons." Nayomi nodded as she lit another cigarette, her expression thoughtful. "Thanks for the info Talon, I'll see what I can make of it." He nodded and gave her a mock salute as he headed for the door, he paused briefly in the door way and looked over his shoulder. "I also heard from a little birdy that if you and your team pull this off, you'll be promoted to Alpha. Rumors are spreading like wild fire lemme tell ya." "I highly doubt we'll get Alpha for just this one mission Clyde. But can you do me a favor?" "For you beautiful? Anything." She rolled her eyes and blew a plume of smoke towards him. "Stop the rumors. I don't need anymore pressure than what I have on my team for this. It's been over a years since we've been in the field." "Heh, yeah, how's ol Commandant feel about it?" "He's not happy I know that much." Clyde nodded slowly. "I'll see what I can do, and Blayze..." Nayomi looked up meeting his green eye, a shiver ran through her; she hated his eyes...they seemed to pierce right through her. "Try not to slip up this time would you?" Sighing she nodded and opened her laptop; she knew she would never live that one incident down, not by her team, not by the agency...not by anyone. How could she to be honest? She knew what would happen if she pushed her self to far...but she did it anyway. He frown returned as her thought drifted back to that single mission...the one that nearly ruined her career. being a shape shifter isn't the greatest of talents the HDF has. She shook her head and stood pacing, the smoke billowing from her lips like a small steam engine. It was night, pitch black and cold...she had phased to see better, hear better, get a better idea of what they were looking for. The den had been said to be abandoned for years yet signs of life lingered here and there, the vampires had far from moved away. When the fight had started everyone was in perfect sync, no one missed a beat, til they were over whelmed. Orders had come in for evacuation, Nayomi's pride couldn't stand a retreat and so she ignored it, stayed and fought. She knew, when her vision began to turn red...she knew what could happen, what was happening, yet she still pressed forward. It wasn't until it was to late that she tried to stop, tried to quell her instincts but the wolf was to far gone. One moment as herself became another trapped inside the beast, terrified all she could do was watch from the inside as the wolf went rampant, friend, foe...none of it mattered. She ripped through everything in her path. Oh the mission was a success alright, but her injured team caused an uproar. They were desked the very next day. She shook her head free of the thoughts and sat back down crushing another cigarette out with a vengeance, not this time. She had better control and she was better trained now, not this time. She knew how much a field mission must mean to her team and she was far from willing to let them down again. Rising from the seat she grabbed her jacket from the back of her chair and slipped it on, stuffing the remaining pack of cigarettes and her lighter in her jacket pocket she grabbed the papers and left the small office, hoping to never again be there for that amount of time. Her watch beeped at her, screaming that the mission was starting and she walked door to door, knocking lightly, letting her team know it was time to go. She reached her destination in the hanger, an old, wizened man drapped in a deep blue cloak greeted her with a crinkled grin. "Wolf. it's a beautiful morning." "Smells like it Cloak, smells like it." She matched his smile and leaned on one of the agency vehicles as she looked at the man, he had been here longer than she had, no one knew just how old he really was or how he had lived as long as he did. Rumors flew about the base that he had once been part of the infamous Alpha team over 50 years ago, having aided Commandant and Commander Athens to a victory that saved the world. But rumors were just that, rumors and who knew that the tall tale was actually true or not. "Are you taking us today Cloak?" "No no, to conspicuous. You'll be taking the jet to your mission today. And might I say good luck. If you'll excuse me, I must meet with the Commandant." She nodded, pulling out another cigarette and lighting it as she waited for her team, a trifle thought filtering through her mind as she did. '...I should cut back....'

Hopefully in the next day or so. Waiting on one more player to sign up but they can always jump in late so...maybe sometime tonight or tomorrow. Cause I'm getting antsy my self.

Yeah I'll go more into what happened to the other teams once the RP is actually up and moving, and there will be hints about the old characters but this is set like 50 or so years since they were alive. So it's set a pretty good ways into the future from when they reigned over the HDF. Also I feel as if I should explain more on the dead villagers just in case any of us are still confused about the situation. They aren't a danger as of our initial encounter with them, they are pretty much just mindless corpses starting out. The demon has the ability to make them one solid unit of mass destruction though and once that happens the only way to get rid of them is to get rid of her. But it's not gonna be that easy. And I'll also go more into that once the RP is up and going as well. Promise. I'm gonna try and keep the 'winging' it to a minimal for at least a little while if I can help it. lol

Alright, so our first mission is to a village in the Alpine mountains where about 100 years or so the entire population of the village were killed in a church fire. The church as we find was locked from the outside, yet everyone in the village was accounted for in the church at the time of the fire. All of these people have not been able to move on and are stuck on the physical plane of death and are unable to move on. Our target of this mission is a young man who is being controlled by a temptress demon. Using the young man as a vessels she's been opening the gates between the living world and the dead allowing spirits to come back to this plane. As such she is able to control them at will. As you can guess this could spell plenty of trouble if she were able to acquire enough souls and shells to build up a small army and cause some pretty decent damage.

Name: Nayomi Blayze Age: 25 Gender: Female Appearance:http://www.10wallpaper.com/wallpaper/medium/1305/highschool_dxd_girl_red_hair_posture-Anime_design_wallpaper_medium.jpg Nayomi stands at 5.5 with a pear shaped frame, she is muscular but not overly so; her fiery red hair is long, past her hips and is usually tied back in a plaited braid. Her attire is simple, black jeans, a white tank top, and long black over coat and black boots make up her outfit most days unless she is needed in her uniform. Her crystal blue eyes are piercing and seem to be able to make most people cave under her intense stare. Ability: Shapeshifting. Nayomi is limited to only one alternate form which is a large black wolf the size of a full grown polar bear. Snippet: Nayomi sighed as she arched her back over the back of her chair, a few of her vertebra popped along her spine, she looked up at her smoke stained ceiling and sighed again, a small plume of smoke billowing out along with her breath this time. She had been at this for hours and still there was nothing she could find on this supposed 'Dead Village' any where on the internet. "You would think that a place like that would be up some where..." She leaned forward, her red braid flopping over her shoulder to rest in her lap as she let her lean hands fly over the key board once more. The cigarette clamped between her teeth flared to life and dulled off and on as she took small intakes off it and blew the smoke out, She let out a small curse as the cherry of the cigarette got to close to the filter and burnt her lips. Shaking her head she put the spent butt in the ashtray and without missing a beat lit another one quickly. Her brows were creased in a frown as she continued to look for more information on the place that they were supposed to be going to. After what felt like hours she stood and stretched, her shoulders popping with the motion of it. Sighing she walked out of her office, her hands in her pockets, her head down as she let her mind wander. She found her self outside and sat down on the ground, the cool grass calming her as she leaned back and looked up at the clear sky, the stars shimming brightly as her thoughts seemed to almost drown her. Foot steps caused her to hold her to take a deep breath, the scent familiar to her, she relaxed and inhaled deeply feeling her fingers tingle slightly as the nicotine reached her nerves for the first time in a while. The owner of the steps sat down next to her and held out a small stack of papers. "This is all that I was able to find." "Chiron, your the best my friend." She took the papers with enthusiasm and began to look them over, her eyes scanning over the papers with ease in the darkness, her frown getting deeper as she read. "This place...are you sure this is the same place I told you about?" He nodded solemnly, her eyes closed, he never did say much to anyone really. "And Commandant expects us to go here...well alright then. At least we know what we're getting into, so this place is just littered with dead people walking around who DON'T know their dead...so where's the evil behind it? Your the mastermind behind dark stuff Chiron, you think you can figure it out? And I'm sure Victor will be able to sense if anything is off once we get there. I'll need the both of you well rest and sharp for this one. So get plenty of rest." With a single nod the man stood from his spot and left, his foot falls barely making any noise as he walked away. "I better send word to the others about this...zombies huh? Well...it could be worse I suppose." With a shrug she stood, and made her way back into the building. (I'll be posting a backstage tonight where I'll be putting details about our missions and where I'll answer questions and take suggestions for future missions)

Over the years people have been oblivious, blissfully so as a matter of fact. But truth is, the world is not as pleasant and sweet as most would like to believe it is. You see there are things that do threaten people, their very lives, sometimes even their souls are on the line and none of them know. But we do, we keep track of everything out there that could, or is a threat to people. Now I know some think that the old myths, the old stories are just that, myths and stories...but truth be told, it's all real, and it's all right under their noses, maybe even in their houses. They read books, watch shows and movies about the things we protect them from, enjoying the scare, the 'knowledge' that they can close that book, turn off the TV or leave the theater and be safe...how wrong they are. Those very things they read about, watch, enjoy the scare from are out there, watching them, waiting for the moment to show themselves. And the fear, the knowing that they exist isn't as wonderful as many people think it is. That's where we come in. Everyday the human race expands and evolves, and everyday another one of us is born, we are the higher tier of the human race, we are the soldiers that are born and chosen day in and day out to keep an eye out for those of them that are not able to see until it's to late, we're the ones who keep tabs on the things they enjoy the fear from, we are the HDF, also known as the Human Defense Force. We've been underground for centuries. Those of us in the HDF are the evolved form of the human race, we have a higher calling, we have the power to keep balance and we do our jobs effectively. Some of us are more hands on, with the power to control elements; or even move our surroundings, or even get into another person's mind. Some of us are more supportive able to heal our hurt operatives, some have even been known to be able to reattach severed limbs; then there are the behind the scenes operatives, our transporters and communicators able to find us no matter where we travel and bring us home or give us our orders. Our powers are progressive, the grow and expand as we do, and each and everyone of us...doesn't exist. We keep tabs on the supernatural half of the world, allowing the docile ones to co-exist, live their lives in peace and so on and so forth...but the ones that kill, the ones that hunt, the ones who fight us...we hunt them. And we kill them, they thrive in darkness, they live in the shadows, and that's where we find them, and kill them. From darkness we were born, and it's in darkness most of us will likely fall... And we'd have it no other way. Smoke trailed to the ceiling, clinging to it like fog to damp grass as the keyboard clicked in the dark office, the single lamp over the desk giving off just enough light to illuminate the laptop and the thin hands flying across the keys. The person behind the laptop looked up as the door opened, the cherry on the cigarette coming to life with the person's inhale. "Blayze, you in here?" The woman let out a thin plume of smoke and tapped the ashes into a small black ash tray next to the computer. "Maybe, who wants to know?" "Head honcho wants to speak with you." The woman nodded and closed the laptop, grabbing her pack and lighter she pushed he chair back and walked around the desk and out the door, the hall light causing her to squint slightly. Pushing back her red hair, her green eyes settled on the young man in front of her, his navy blue uniform with the bright yellow HDF badge was wrinkled and poorly kept, he met her eyes and cleared his throat. "Yes Ma'am?" "You look like a slob, you expect to present me to the Commandant in that shape? You must be new." He nodded, his eyes downcast. "Yes, I am." She nodded and held her arm out in front of him. "I know the way, you should go and get yourself in order." He saluted and turned back towards the dorms, shame written on his features. A few minutes walk found the woman in front of the door she hated going through; taking a deep breath she pushed the door open, not bothering with a knock she took another deep drag on the smoldering cigarette between her lips and leaned on the door frame. "You rang sir?" "Blayze, good to see you as well, please take a seat." "I'm fine where I am. What do you need me for, I thought I was on desk duty with the rest of my unit." He took a deep breath and pinched the bridge of his nose, a clear sign something was wrong. "You should sit down, please." Rolling her eyes she did as he asked and sat across from him, crossing her arms over her chest and crossing her legs she waited patiently. "Did you know that Alpha and Beta were sent on a joint mission to the Alps?" "Yes, many of the lower operatives have been talking none stop about it. Something about it being the highest ranking mission accepted in over 30 years." "Correct. We haven't heard from them in months. Your next in line, Delta is being returned to the field." Nayomi's mouth clamped shut before she opened it again to speak. "Sir, are we qualified for this?" "I believe so." "I don't understand, operatives don't send word for over six months and no search party is ever sent for them...why now, what's so special about the mission they were sent on?" "There were reports from that area about a village where people have been going missing. This village suddenly popped up on our maps." "But our maps don't signal unless it has something to do with the 'supernatural.' " "Exactly. None of the transporters or communicators have been able to locate or reach them, and looking through the archives this village was burnt to the ground over 100 years ago, no one survived. The townspeople were all trapped in the church." "So how did it all of a sudden pop up?" "Some one brought it back, and all the dead villagers with it. Alpha and Beta were sent to investigate, no one has heard from them since." "You think something is going on there Sir?" "Yes, I do. The fact that we can not reach them via transporter or communicator is worrying to me. There has never been an instance like this in the history of the HDF." "And you want me to put my unit in danger just to find out? I don't think so." "It's not up for discussion Blayze, you leave at 0600 tomorrow. Make sure your ready. What ever this is, whatever is happening we need to figure it out and put a stop to it." Nayomi didn't say a word, simply stood and walked out, lighting a new cigarette on the way out, low growls could be heard from the young woman as she stomped through the halls.. The young shape shifter fumed as she stormed down the hall towards her dorm, clearly unhappy. Welcome to the HDF, the protectors of the human race. Name: Age: Gender: Appearance: Ability: Snippet (please write as little(at least a paragraph) or as much here as you wish, write about your character and how they interact with the people of the HDF, and how they feel about receiving the letter about the latest mission.)

Revonair, one of the most feared pirates known on the seas, feared for his heartless, ruthless nature, and his ship; The Devil's Rose. Having built her himself putting his blood and sweat into making her he gave her life. She was loyal to him as a daughter was to a father and did his bidding as he tore through the port towns. After nearly 30 years of his tyranny he had conquered the seas and with the help of The Rose become the most feared pirate known to anyone, but...Rose had seen enough. Revonair had a black heart and cared for no one and nothing, save for his gold. In the end, she grew tired of his greed, his malice and the death he left in his wake. On the night of his death Revonair and his men were celebrating Revonair's rise to power, gorging themselves on a small port, they had killed all the men, captured all the women; using them for whatever they pleased. Torturing, raping and enslaving the whole of the female population of the town; they spent weeks doing as they pleased, wreaking havoc and creating chaos. On the last day of their celebration the men returned to The Rose, drunk, lazy, and unsuspecting; The Rose pulled her anchor and drifted from the port during the night; none of the crew knew until it was to late. She drove the back of her hull into the large rock on the outskirts of the port causing massive damage. The hole allowed water into her body as if a dam had broken; by the time the men knew what was happening it was to late. Water filled the innards of The Rose and she began to sink below the surface with impressive speed. Revonair and his men stood no chance against the undertow she created, being drunk had sealed their fate. Revonair and his men were found on the shore days later, pale, bloated and drowned, a final note etched into the wet sand. I will sleep until I find the one, the one deserving of my loyalty and strength. When i find the one, I will rise once again. The fire blazed all around her, the smoke filled her lungs, choking off the air she needed to breath, her eyes watered non-stop as she searched the deck of the Blue Moon. The ship was her home, she had been born and raised on the deck of this ship and her heart ached at knowing this would be the last image of it she would remember. Stumbling here and there she strained her eyes looking for the one person she was looking for, it wasn't til she tripped that she found the man. "Father!" She scrambled on her hands and knees over to his side and rolled him over, her tears now of sorrow instead of because of the black smoke. His crystal blue eye cracked open, his bronzed skin split into a soft smile for his daughter as she cradled him gently. "Vey, my Vey Flower...you need to get off the ship, you need to get to someplace safe." She shook her head, her throat tight from her tears. "I won't leave you!" "You mother and I...we love you very much. Now do us a favor...we need you to live for us Vey." She sobbed, looking over him she saw that it was no use trying to save him, the large spike of the broken mast through his chest saw to that. She closed her eyes tightly as her father pushed his bandanna into her hands. His soft smile still in place. "Live free Vey. Never-" She sobbed as his coughing brought forth blood and interrupted his talking to her. "-never forget what I taught you." She bit her lip as his muscled body went lax in her arms, kissing his forehead she lay him back down on the deck. 'I love you father...I'll miss you and mother dearly." Taking one last longing look at her home she sprinted to the side and dove off and into the chilly water, surfacing she was able to find a large piece of drift wood, pulling herself onto it she cradled her head on her crossed arms and allowed her self to cry. She had no idea how long she had been drifting, or to where, but the sound of water rushing against sand woke her, she did not know this island. Looking around cautiously she blinked as what she saw in front of her froze her in place. Not 50 yards from the shore was a ship, the sails were the purest white she had ever seen, the body was beautiful, being the deepest rose red she had ever seen in her life. It stood proud, wedged between 2 rocks that held it in place and as she looked around the ship she took notice of a few things. The first being the massive hole in the back of the hull of the ship, and the second being the ship's figure head. A small imp was cradled on the bow of the ship, wrapped in rose vines. Putting her hand against the wood she pulled it back quickly having sworn she could feel a pulse run though it. Vey shook it off and made the choice that she was going to fix the ship and find her way back to the main land and begin a search for the crew who attacked and killed her family. It had been four long months since Vey had found the ship she learned to be called The Devil's Rose, the name sounded familiar to her but she couldn't remember where. Having fixed her in two months, another two months found her in the port town of Tellin. A familiar town where her father often gained information from. She docked, dropped anchor, and headed ashore. First she needed information, second off she needed supplies, and last but certainly not least...she needed a crew willing to set sail with her on a fools adventure. Welcome aboard the Devil's Rose. This will be a mature RP containing blood, coarse language, sexual situations, and adult content. You have been warned. Name: Age: Personality: Gender: Weapons(keep it to the usual pirate weaponry if you please): Appearance: Background(try to in-cooperate your reasoning for wanting to join Vey, it could be in search of adventure, treasure or your character too could have had a run in with the strange fog) : Name: Vey Moltohina Age: 25 Personality: Stubborn and determined she sometimes has a one track mind, even though her attention span is extremely short. She has selective hearing and tends to ask what people have said more often then not. Good natured she tries to be a friend to all but many take this gentle side of her at face value mistakenly thinking that this is how she is all the time which tends to be a last mistake to those who try to take advantage of her. She has a nasty temper that is something to be reckoned with and is a firm believer that revenge is a dish best served cold. Gender: Female Weapons: She carries two pistols, one on each thigh at all times and a long saber on her right hip. She also hides a boot dagger in her left boot. Appearance: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m47u84JlpP1r7hnimo1_500.jpg Instead of the skirt in the pic she wears a pair of dark, form fitting brown slacks, her fathers bandanna, which is the same color as her shirt is tied constantly around her hair. Background: Vey was born and raised on the Blue Moon, her father's merchant ship, she grew up learning the seas and ports along the way. Her father's trade was trade its self, anything from information to weapons, to food and medicine. Her mother was a medicine woman who served as the ships doctor while they were on the sea. Her father and his crew eventually entered into piracy after they intervened on a military crew taking advantage of a small town. After getting in their way the military men went back and put a price on her father's head. The price not being very high he wasn't hunted actively and they were able to live a well rounded and enjoyable life on the open sea. On Vey's 25th year they were sailing towards the port of Tellin to stock on supplies when a thick fog rolled in around them. It was the thickest Vey had ever seen in her life and she was barely able to see her hands in front of her face. The fire came after that, not see what had happened all she knew was that it spread and consumed her home within moments and everything she had ever known was gone. Washing ashore an unknown island she found The Devil's Rose, take the time and care to fix it and has now made it a point to gather as much information as she can about the mysterious fog and her family's killer. But first she needs to find a crew.

Half way through the teleport Etna felt her instincts tug at her, she frowned and canceled the amulet winding up back at the base. She could hear the men and women trying to get things back together but she knew the damage her and Heru had done was extensive and wouldn't easily be repaired. Grabbing a hat she pulled it over the small horns on her head and walked out of the base onto the air field. It was empty, eerie feeling and she knew she didn't want to find what was there. She continued to walk across the pavement til it hit her, the smell was thick and heavy, metallic and she knew before she came around the helicopter that the carnage was going to be devastating, what she did see she didn't expect. She could see the blades had been twisted and bent, the door sliced open and she knew who it must have been. The sound of harsh breathing caught her attention and she turned, almost feeling her stomach betray her. The woman was barely holding onto her life, in fact Etna couldn't figure out how she was still speaking, but her whispers were harsh and came out over and over. As Etna stood there the woman's words sunk in. "..the...c...ren....s...are...th....chi....ren....." Etna took a step or two closer to piece the woman's words together, chills ran through her as she was able to see her injuries more clearly. She had been sliced cleanly in half, her entrails and blood spilt on the pavement and Etna could see she didn't have much longer, her face was pale and the dimness of her eyes said it all. Her words on the other hand had Etna's heart beating in her ears. "...spare the children...." Etna spun around, the blood on the ground was thick, sticky and everywhere, Etna could see many bodies of children laying about, their eyes wide, mouth agape in fear and panic. She felt her stomach twist as she spotted a little girl closer to the helicopter, her yellow hair spread around her like a halo. It was then Etna could make out someone repeating the word 'no' over and over like a mantra...she then realized that it was her self. Anger slowly seeped in past the shock and horror of the scene, she could feel the warmth of it spread through her body, the green fire sprouting from her skin to cover her in an eerie glow. She could hear the sizzle of her tears against the fire as she stared at the scene closer, Her fangs barred she grasped the amulet hard zoning in on the location of the man she was looking for, she could feel Heru there as well. No doubt checking on everyone else and she felt the pull allowing it to take her where she wanted to go. She came into view, many quick to get out of her way as she stalked through crowds, she spotted him then, that black look on his face enraging her more as her pace picked up, she passed Heru who called out to her, she ignored it. Letting out a hiss she lunged and grabbed the man by the collar, ignoring the side effects of doing such. "You heartless son of a-" Scythe looked up at her, his face emotionless, even as she picked him up and slammed him against a brick wall that was half way broken down. "How could you!? They were your own! Barely old enough to fight! How could you kill them!?" His answer enraged her more. "I had my orders." She growled, picked him up again and threw him to the ground before pinning him down, pulling her arm back she readied a green blast in her hand til she felt a strong arm wrap around her middle. Heru pulled her back with a heave asking her what was wrong with her. "He killed them! That base had a hiding place for children like us! They must have been tying to evacuate them, and he killed them! He killed all of them!" Heru looked at Scythe before he pulled Etna away from the half reaper and pulled her with him, she felt the pull of the amulet again and realized Heru had taken her to a small, shabby looking pub, or something along those lines. She pushed away from him and snapped the amulet from her belt loop, her fire engulfed it, destroying it effectively. "I want no more part in this! I've killed humans that's true, but to kill innocent children...children Heru! They had nothing to do with this!" She picked up a table the threw it across the room, her scream echoing in the empty room as she covered her face with her hands, flinching slightly as she felt arms wrap around her shoulders. She didn't pull away from him, merely let the silent tears fall knowing Heru could easily smell them. Anue jumped upstairs as her and Kurama heard the scream in the room below them. "K-Kurama...what was that?" "I dunno sweetheart, why don't you stay here and let me find out." She nodded and watched as he left the room, following a moment later silently til she saw him coming back up the stairs, a solemn look gracing his features. "Back up to the room, trust me..." She looked past him to see the red haired woman, shaking slightly and Heru trying his best to awkwardly comfort her. "What's going-" "Just leave it be Anue." Kurama grabbed her arm gently and led her back up the stairs. "Is everything-" "Sometimes, being what we are, it comes back to haunt us. Mainly when we don't expect it to." Anue nodded slowly in understanding as she say back across from Kurama. "H-have you ever...?" "Done anything I regret? Haven't we all?" Anue thought back to the people she too had kill, mainly to stay alive and dropped her gaze. "We all feel that way about something in out lives Anue. Whether your full human, or half. It's that part of us...that makes us human..." Anue understood and remained quiet, feeling that what ever had happened somehow effect all three of the half demons in the building. Resting her chin on her crossed arms she leaned on the table and took a deep breath feeling somewhat out of place.

These miraculous few were known, as a Summoner. The sun hung low in the sky as the young woman wiped sweat from her brow, the pile of rocks in front of her towered neatly and she beamed with pride at her work. Grabbing her robe from the fence post on her left she swung it around and settled it on her shoulders as she gathered her lunch pack and headed back for her village. As she neared the gates a large beast walked from the side woods over to her. â??Youâ??re doing well.â? â??Thank you Fenrir. Coming from you that means something.â? He shook his large white head and trotted ahead of her stopping in her path; he was easily the size of a Rhinoceros and gave her no room to move around him. The large wolf bent his head forwards so his large amber eyes met hers. â??Iâ??ve gotten a message.â? She stopped then, her brow coming together in a frown. â??What message? From who?â? He sat down then, his haunches coiling with muscle as he looked down at her. â??He is a herald for the Creator, and he has called us to meet with him, and others for something apparently of utmost importance. Itâ??s not every day the Creator calls upon those he birthed.â? The young woman nodded slowly as Fenrir stood and began to walk slowly next to her as she made her way home, her frown still in place. â??What could be so important?â? â??Iâ??m quite sure we will find out when that time comes. But for now, you should pack. I do not think it wise to keep a herald of the Creator waiting.â? She nodded once more before breaking out into a run to gather her things for the journey. You have been called upon to answer the Creator, you and your summon now embark upon an incredible journey to meet with the Herald and learn more about the hardships you are about to face. Sign Up: Name: Age: Personality: Appearance: Element(You are allowed more than one, no more than three please): Summon: Summon Appearance(normal): Summon Personality: Summon Appearance(travel): Background: Alright, so I have a few tweaks with the Summons. Each summon as a travel appearance, this is the form they take when not in battle. A smaller, more compact rendition of their actual forms. For instance, Fenrir is supposed to be the general size of a mountain. But when with his summoner his is generally the size of a Rhino, making it easier to communicate and bond with the summons. This being said, Iâ??ll allow for almost any summon from any game, so long as you describe the summon in detail. There are a few exceptions to this though, a few of the summons I feel might be a tad too much so Iâ??ll list them here as unavailable. (These are just the ones I could think of at the moment) Alexander Eden From VIII Arks from IX Knights of the Round from VII( Though I have no idea how that would work) Anima from X If there are any others you think would be a bit 'much' feel free to let me know. Also, if any one cares to use Cerberus from FFVIII, you CAN change how he works. You can make him an elemental summon such as Dark or something along those lines since Iâ??m not bringing spell names into this to keep it a little simpler. Other than that if I feel something isn't right or is a little out of line Iâ??ll PM the person and let them know. Also, very important. This is set AFTER the Black Beast has already been released once, so technology is pretty much lost at the moment. Everything is pretty basic. Any questions on this PM me and we'll talk. With that being said, Iâ??ll put mine up as an example. Name: Emerald Heart (Ema for short) Age: 25 Personality: Somewhat aloof and carefree she is also very structured and patient. Over protective of those she cares for she is extremely loyal and has been known to have a â??packâ?? mentality. She enjoys nature and would rather be in the country or forest then anywhere near 'civilization'. She has an extreme affinity with nature and can understand it to a point, being able to predict weather, and even take an educated guess on an animal's behavior. Appearance: Element(You are allowed more than one, no more than three please): Earth and Healing. Summon(only one please): Fenrir Summon Appearance(normal): See attatchment When he takes his true form he sheds the armor and he becomes the size of a large mountain, his fur remains white, but it tinged with a bluish hue. His demeanor turns somewhat nasty and it becomes hard for him to determine friend from foe other then his own summoner. If not handled properly he can go on a rampage very easily, his control over the earth's elements making him very dangerous to deal with. He has often had to be restrained when angered in the past due to his temper, hence to chains. Summon Personality: Intelligent and some what snooty Fenrir only listens to Ema and hardly talks to any one but her. He is stern with her training and hardly gives her break. Sarcastic and to him-self he has little patience and tends to cause small quakes when he is either impatient of angry. Summon Appearance(travel): Generally the size of a Rhino, Ema is able to ride Fenrir when on long journeys, in this form his fur is snow white instead of the black/grey. His eyes the same wild yellow as his true form. Background: Born into a poor family Ema grew up in a small country village. Working in the fields she learned to respect and depend on nature and the land. She learned from her father the importance of establishing a bond with the earth around them, after several years of this she began to realize she had an affinity with the element of earth and was able to help the crops stay healthy for longer periods of time during droughts or floods. At the age of 17 Ema ventured into the woods behind her home to gather mushrooms and roots for medicine for her mother. It was during one of these trips she found a small den of wolves, the mother having been killed by a hunter for her meat and fur the pups had all but withered away. Only a small white pup remained, taking it upon her-self she pulled the pup free from the den and took it home with her at the end of her gathering trip. Nursing it back to health she raised the wolf pup to adulthood, creating a bond with the creature that would exceed expectations. On another gathering trip for her mother Ema found her-self face to face with an dark creature of the woods, itâ??s skin scaly black, itâ??s fangs dripping with venom it attacked. During this attack the white wolf pup in which she had raised came to her defense, his form growing in size and stature until he was the size of a small Hippo. Fighting off the creature he then turned to her and spoke, explaining to her that he was a child of the Creator and he had chosen her to be his protector. He called him-self Fenrir, the Wolf of the Mountains. From then on the two of them were inseparable, he helped her train her magic and learn to fight, he taught her how to read the woods more carefully.

Etna slid down the side of the building, her sharp nails leaving trails in her wake, her fangs were barred in a feral grin as she followed Heru. As she reached the edge of the roof she planted her feet on the side and pushed off, with a large cloud of dust she landed heavily in the middle of the Iron Guards. She stood with one hand on her hips, the other relaxed by her side as they seemed to stunned to move for a moment. "A half demon? Why is she here?" Etna smirked more as Heru landed next to her with a dull thud, his muscular lupine form coiled, ready for a fight. Etna looked around them, many of the guard were young and she felt her stomach twist slightly. "Herutama..they're so young...are you sure you-" "I'll do my job Etna." She nodded slowly, both of them moved at once, slicing through the guard with ease as they moved through to the center of the base concentrated on taking out the building. Etna sprinted behind the man turned wolf, her eyes never letting him out of sight as they moved in sync with each other. "Herutama I think we should take the next left." "No, the smell is coming from the right, we'll move in that direction." She nodded, trusting his nose more then her sense of direction, as they turned the next corner they both came to a stop as a large mechanical guard stood in front of them, Etna crouched down slightly, her form tensing as both her hands came to life with her hell fire, the neon green Heru's growls grew louder as a deep voice echoed through the hall. "Give your selves up, or be destroyed." Etna snorted slightly. "You better not be holding your breath." Heru rolled his eyes as they moved a little to the left, a large laser suddenly fired at Etna's feet making her jump back with a hiss her eye flashing as she let a ball of her hell fire loose towards the machine. She braced her self as the large arm swung down and caught her in the middle slamming her against the wall. Coughing Etna tasted blood in her mouth and gagged, baring he teeth she hissed more and pushed against the metal arm, but with no luck. The other swung around, grabbing her by her head it swung around throwing her against the other wall, blood stained the wall as her lip busted. She hit the floor hard, coughing as she sat up slowly, her eyes glowing in anger as she hissed, her teeth now stained red. Anue huffed another sigh as she pushed the food on the small plate in front of her around, Kurama arched an eye brow in her direction. "Something bothering you sweetheart?" "I'm worried about Heru..." He nodded slowly. "That makes two of us love." She sighed again and pushed the plate away before letting her forehead thump against the table. "Easy there, you're gonna either hurt your self or the table, I told Herutama I wouldn't let you get hurt." "I'm fine. Just worried that Etna woman is gonna make him do something horrible..." "Etna? Etna Rhodes? Pretty lady with long red hair?" "Yeah...you know her?" "Heh, yeah I know her, and trust me, she won't make Herutama do anything nasty unless he wants to." Anue shook her head, either ignoring, or completely missing the innuendo Kurama let loose. "She seemed so...unstable..." "No more unstable then the rest of us sweetheart." "But she didn't seem to care about killing humans, she even tried to kill me..." "I doubt she would have, mainly if you were with Heru at the time, she probably did it to get a rise out of him. She's like that when it comes to Herutama. I think she fancies him or something." "What do you mean fancies him?" "You know, likes, has a crush, has an eye out for him, wants to jump his bones...or be his bone. Get it now?" "She likes him?" "That, or she has a death wish by getting him wound up all the time. Either way I don't think it's a bad idea, she is easy on the eyes and he could use- Where are you going?" "To find Heru...I don't think he's safe..." "You got a plane ticket to Britan then sugar? Cause I don't and I'm not taking you there just to get mauled by wolf man." Anue turned to Kurama and let her eyes soften slightly as she walked over to him, she placed her hand softly to his chest closing the space between them, her voice soft as she spoke. "Please Kurama...I'm so worried about him." His eye brows arched before he gave her a flat look. "Flashy. But, no." "Oh c'mon!" "No way girl! He'd kill both of us just for putting our selves in danger like that! And I don't know about you, but I'm not ready to die. Mainly by my best friend." Anue flopped down in the same chair she had been sitting in with a huff as she rested her chin in her palm. Kurama shook his head. "Look, he'll be fine. And he'll come back for you when it's safe enough. Just relax and try not to do anything stupid." "Whatever." "I'll take that as an ok?" "Take it how ever you want." "Alright then. So what do you wanna do til he gets back?" She shook her head and went back to playing with the food on the small plate in front of her. Her mind else where.

Anue shook her head slowly as she looked at Heru's back. "No, you can't...Heru...you can't want to do this..." "I have to." Anue took a step forward only to jump back with a yelp as Etna landed in between them, her face grim and slightly stricken. "It's to late Herutama. We have to move, now." Anue watched, feeling a little left out as Heru turned to her, frowning. "What are you talking about?" "These damn amulets let them keep an eye on us." "How do you know that Etna?" "I have my ways Herutama, you know that. We have to move her some where safe, and quickly. Is there anyone you can trust her with?" She could see him think for a moment before he sighed and shook his head. "Yes and no?" "What is that supposed to mean Herutama?" "Kurama..." Etna pinched the bridge of her nose sighing slightly. "I see...Well we have to move her there and fast." Heru crossed his arms over his chest and frowned deeper towards the woman. "Why are you helping me?" Etna let out a small hiss as she stalked towards him, gripping his shoulder she pulled him nose to nose with her. "I do things my own way, you know that better then anyone. Now, leash your pet and let's get her out of here. This place is to close to a city and it's going to be nothing but dust in a matter of a few minutes!" Anue peeked around Etna to see Heru's face, it was pale and he looked ready to be sick. "H-Heru? Are you really gonna..." The woman turned and looked at her, her words harsh. "He doesn't have a choice. None of us really do...we have to make it so he's less worried about you so he's not a target himself. I refuse to let him be killed just because of one human." Anue nodded slowly looked at Heru she hugged her arms around her thin frame. "Heru, if you have to kill...then I'd rather you take me somewhere I don't have to see it." Heru nodded slowly as he walked towards the thing girl, Etna grabbed his wrist tightly. "I'll be waiting here for you. Make it fast." Anue felt her stomach churn as he took her by the hand, with in seconds she found her self in a small shabby looking club, scream and the sounds of fighting could be heard and Anue felt her self begin to shake in fear. Heru tightened his hand on her's and she pushed her self to his back, hiding effectively behind him. "Kurama! Are you here?!" The wall shattered and there stood the young man, a large smile on his face as a demon hung limply in his hand, as the man's eyes landed on Heru they lit up and he dropped the poor demon to the ground not even caring; this caused Anue to blink in confusion as she watching him walk to Heru and hug him. "You didn't- wait...why is your girl here?" "I need you to watch her for me..." "Herutama...your not going to...are you?" Anue watched as Heru merely nodded before he snatched Anue from behind his back and pushed her into Kurama's arms. "Don't let her be harmed Kurama!" "What am I? Your baby sitter?!" Before Anue could turn back around Heru was gone leaving her with this strange man. Etna's head snapped up as the sound of foot steps sounded behind her, she grinned, an evil fanged grin as 3 hunters walked up to her. "Your not supposed to be here foul beast." "Oh? You think your belong here more then I do? I'd like to see you prove it." The middle Hunter growled out and a curse and charged towards her, only to feel her hand tap him on the back, he was suddenly consumed in neon green flames, his screams of agony lasting only a few seconds before he lay face first on the ground steaming. Etna lowered her chin slightly, her yellow eyes flashing dangerously as they stood there in shock at the swiftness at which she had killed the man. "You bitch!" "I'd worry less about me now gentlemen, and more about my companion behind you." The men slowly looked around to see a large wolf like being standing behind them, his frame muscular, Etna felt her grin spread as Heru tore into the remaining 2 men with fevor, her grin growing more sinister as he approached her, an arm gripped in his clawed hand. "Are you ready now Herutama?" His voice was a growl more then an actual voice as he lowered his head so his eyes met her's. "Let's get this done and over with Etna so I can go back to my solitude." "Your not going back to your pet?" "She's in better hands with Kurama." "And you?" "Are better off on my own." Etna lifted her hand to his fur covered cheek, her smile softening some. "I don't think that's true." With that Heru took off at a long loping stride towards the town, Etna following not far behind him.

Name: Etna Rhodes Age:86 (looks like she's at least 23) Gender: Female Appearance: Etna is rather tame looking for a half demon, her most noticeable attributes being her fangs, two thin black horns that sit a top her head, yellow eyes and her slightly pointed ears. She stands at a slight 5ft, and weighs a mere 120 due to muscle, but she no less womanly due to this. Shapely and curved she is rumored to be a half succubus. Her extremely long, deep red hair hangs behind her in a lush pony tail which swishes back and forth as she walks. Her normal attire consists of a button up T-shirt that is checked with blue and orange, a pair of dark blue jeans, and a pair of black heeled boots. When going out of the compound she wears a pair of orange sunglasses and a pair of black open fingered gloves. She does have one slightly odd accessory as she wears a small silver cross around her neck at all times. Personality: Etna is not unpleasant to others, though there are only a few she can stand to be around for more then a few minutes. Unpredictable she always seems to go the opposite way people expect her to go and seems to enjoy playing small mind games with others as well. Despite all this she can be rather enjoyable to be around if you catch her in the right mood. Not particular towards humans, she's not fully against them either. She's a rouge woman who marches to her own drum despite her loyalty to Malik and the others of V.I.O.LE.N.C.E. Species: Half 'Satan' Spawn Species Description: Satan spawn are a higher level of demon within the layers of hell, Satan himself chooses certain demons to act as his doubles to ensure his survival. A major difference between Satan spawn and regular demon spawn is the use of the level of hell fire they can control. Many Satan Spawn can use a higher level of hell fire giving it an unnatural appeal, shape and color, where many of the lower level demon spawn can barely summon, much less control the destructive flames of hell. Abilities: Etna doesn't really have a special ability, other then her impeccable control over her own, neon green Hell fire she can also speak and understand most demonic languages. Being a sort of bilingual spokes person for VIOLENCE she's usually called in when there is a language barrier. Supplies: Other then her amulet that she keeps looped to her belt loop Etna doesn't carry much, a small leg pouch is strapped to her left leg that contains a few small knick knacks. A small pocket knife, a few small note pads, and a cell phone just in case of emergencies. As far as weapons go, she carries a small Katana strapped to her right shoulder, it's blue sheath covers the golden blade. Background: Etna found the VIOLENCE organization on her own, hearing about it from a few of the lesser demons around the cities she managed to run into a member and join on her own. The member being Heru she instantly found the lupine half-ling interesting. After befriending him she watched him most of the time, taking notes on his behavior and the others as well. She mainly watches the other members of the organization to gauge on whether or not it is what it says it is. She's had no ill experience with humans, having stayed away from them all her life she's avoided the conflict and stayed to her self. Not many of the organization even know she's a part of it since she likes to keep to her self for the most part, mainly speaking either to Heru, or Kurama. (my editing thing went all weird on me for some reason...? o.O)

Anue looked at Heru, skeptical but when he neither moved or put his guard back up she grinned widely and rushed forwards wrapping her arms around his waist and hugging him tightly. "I knew you weren't such a bad guy!" She chuckled as she felt him stiffen and pulled away slowly til she stood a foot or two away from him smiling still. Her smile faltered as a high pitched sound began to echo around them; the sound hurt her ears and made her cringe, but Heru looked suddenly worried. His eyes grew distant and she could sense him tense intensely. "Heru, you alright?" "Anue...I have to...I need. There's something..." "Your stammering Heru...what's wrong? And what's that noise?" "You can hear it?" "Well yeah, it's annoying as hell, what is it?" "Look there's some things you don't-" She took a step away from him as a growl erupted from his chest, his head tilting to the left so he could glance behind him. "Hide." The feminine voice caught her attention, it was sultry, holding laughter to it. "It's to late Herutama, I've seen her. And who could miss that stench." Anue looked around Heru to see a woman, she was beautiful; her hair was a deep dark red, her eye flashed yellow and Anue could clearly see two small black horns protruding through her hair. She flashed a smile and Anue could also see fangs set in her teeth. Her body was womanly, supple yet strong and as the woman pinned Anue with her stare, Anue felt goose bumps rise across her skin. "Heru, who is she?" "Etna." The woman walked towards them, her hips swaying with the motion, when she was a few feet away she leaned on a nearby tree. "Herutama, the signal has gone out. Are you with us?" "Etna, I don't...I can't..." "You seem very confused my lupine friend. Do you need help in deciding?" Anue looked between the two, her voice sounding small and worried. "Is-is she a half demon too?" Etna chuckled and came closer to the two of them, her fanged smile twisted. "I am, but I'm what's called Satan Spawn." Anue moved behind Heru more. "Calm down child. My father is not actually Satan. We're higher level demons that can use Hell fire." Anue frowned and looked at the woman confused. "I thought all demons could...?" "Yes, all demons can use it, but the lower level of it is known as Demon Fire, Hell Fire is closer to Satan's power. Many of the Satan Spawn are called that because he uses those demons mostly as his guards and sometime his doubles. Demon Fire is mainly reds, oranges, and yellows. Hell Fire is more unnatural." With that she held out her hand and a bright neon green flame exploded into her hand making Anue jump and yelp as she gripped the back of Heru's vest hiding her face. Etna laughed loudly. "She's such a human! Herutama, are you with us? Or should I go back and tell Malik about your pet?" Anue frowned and came out from behind the man's back, seeing his shoulders stiffen as she did. "I'm not a pet, I'm his friend!" "Oh ho, is that so? Well then, if your his friend, then that means his friend ship to you is holding one of our prized fighters back from the battle." "Battle? What battle?" Etna chuckled, the sound coming out as more of a growl then a laugh as she started to creep closer to the two of them. "We're putting you humans in your place. Though I must say, if any humans ever interested me it would be you with your odd looks. But because your in the way; well I'm sure you know what happens next." Anue took a step back but before she could think to run or fight she felt the air knocked out of her, a strong, think hand was wrapped around her neck cutting off her air supply, fanged teeth were in her face. The woman was hissing close to her face and Anue could feel her claw like nails digging into the skin of her neck. "You'll be the first one to die today. Human." Anue felt tears sting her eyes as she began to get dizzy from lack of oxygen. Cracking her eyes open she looked at Heru. Etna looked back as well. "I'll make the choice for you Herutama. I'll kill her so your only loyalty will be to Malik, and your family once again." Anue closed her eyes as Etna pulled her hand back, pointing her sharp nails towards Anue with every intention of gutting the young human.

After finally managing to get a few more hours of sleep Anue woke rested and refreshed, wiggling from her sleeping back she stuck her head out and looked around, the room was empty and she stumbled from her bag, hitting the floor in her half sleep. Grunting she growled in annoyance and stumbled back to her feet as she wobbled towards the bathroom. Upon opening the door she saw that she was indeed alone. She slammed the door shut and without hesitation stripped from her dirty clothes; turning the water in the shower as hot as she could get it she stepped in without waiting and sighed as it slowly began to warm til steam filled the room making it nearly impossible to see. She grabbed a washcloth that was sitting on the edge of the tub, drenched it in the stream of water and scrubbed her body til her skin felt almost raw. She stayed under the water for as long as she could stand before getting out and wrenching on her clothes over her damp skin. Shaking out her hair she ran her fingers through it enough to get a majority of the tangles from it before she slipped from the room altogether. She made a point to look around before she moved, even though Heru tolerated her, it didn't mean she was entirely safe within these walls. She could feel the coolness of her hair as it began to dry slightly, her bare feet barely making a sound as she followed her nose, and the smell of food. She slipped through a large set of double doors and into what looked like a lunch room, staying low and close to the wall she sprinted towards the smell of food and peeked over a low wall, seeing small plates of food she reached over and snatched one quickly. Stuffing it into her mouth in one bite she chewed it quickly and swallowed it as best as she could, reaching back over she grabbed a can of whatever it was and stuffed it into her pocket. Hugging the wall she hunched below the tables and sprinted for the doors. She gasped and darted under a table as the double doors opened and a few people cluttered in, one was Heru, he was looking more sour then usual, his frown was deeper then ever as the man leaning on his shoulder laughed out loud. "Come on man, you mean you just brought her here on a whim? No alternative motives?" "Only you would think of something like that. She's a human." "She's kinda cute." "If you like annoying, frumpy stick figures, yeah I suppose." "If you think she's so annoying why not just kill her and be done with it?" "She hasn't done anything wrong Kurama. I won't just kill her because she can't shut up. I just don't know what else to do with her..." "I'll take her. You know I can put her to good use." Heru looked over at his friend with a frown. "I'm sure you could. But I brought her with me therefore she's my responsibility." "Yeah, I had a feeling you were gonna say that. So, what made you bring her here of all places?" "I told you, I don't know what made me bring her here. Maybe I thought she'd be safe, but I'm rethinking that thanks to you." "Well, how about you take me to meet her. You said you would." "I'll think about it. She's a little more jumpy then I thought she would be." "Meaning?" "She had a nightmare and pulled a knife on me when I woke her up." "Ballsy isn't she?" "Yeah...look I should go check on her." "I'll come along." Anue didn't stay to hear anything else, she slipped under the tables til she was able to get out of the doors and sprint back to Heru's room. Opening the door she threw her self in and leaped across the room onto the bed just as the door opened, Heru stepped in and shut the door behind him. He turned and blinked as Anue frowned up at him. "What's your problem?" "You really think I'm that annoying?" "What are you-" "I over heard you talking to your friend. Am I really that annoying to you?" "I've told you over and over you are!" She grabbed one of her knives and threw it close to his feet. "Then why the hell did you bring me here, you could have just left me in those woods. I was keeping alive alone before you came along and I can do it again. You hate having me around so much? Send me back!" "Your throwing this way out of proportion!" She stood and stalked towards him, her hands on her hips and glared up at him. "I can tell when I'm not wanted around Heru, And all I hear is how annoying I am and how you don't even know why I'm here. If that's the case, do your self a favor and send. me. back." She reached back and grabbed her sleeping back as he reaching for the amulet around his neck, Before she could blink she felt her skin prickle as the cold air of outside hit her skin. Sighing she packed her sleeping bag back into her pack and began to trudge through the underbrush putting as much distance between her and the spot Heru had dropped her at.
