  1. Came to the conclusion...I need to Cosplay as Lucy from Fairy Tale. lol

  2. Anue tossed and turned in her sleep, her subconsious gripped in a fearful nightmare, she grit her teeth and growled slightly; a defense mechanism she had picked up over the years, some things coward back at a show of aggression, she grit her teeth more grinding them together. Her muscles tensed and her body shook as the nightmare got worse, her growls turning to whimpers here and there, until finally Heru woke from the noise. "Kid, what the hell-" He saw the sleeping bad trembling fiercely and frowned. "Yo, Kid, you alright?" Anue whimpered more in her sleep alarming Heru sightly, he stood groggily and stumbled to the side of the bed still half asleep, frowning he gripped her shoulder tight. "Hey ki-" An inhuman roar ripped from her throat as she lunged forward, her eyes wild and unfocused as she pressed one of the knives she had strapped around her thigh to Heru's throat. Her eyes looked around wildly, her breathing heavy as she trembled, her skin shining with sweat, her bangs stuck to her forehead as the rest of her hair was sticking up at odd ends; and for sure if Heru hadn't a blade to his throat he might have made fun of her. Her breathing was ragged, almost growls as she tried to gain her bearing and Heru could see her beginning to panic. "Settle down, your safe." His voice seemed to register, but her knife neither moved and her breathing didn't seem to settle. "Your safe, in my quarters at the base I work from, VIOLENCE. Just settle down kid." Her wide, fearful eyes locked onto him and he could see them settle slightly, the knife leaving his skin as she relaxed more and more by the second. "How..when?" "Maybe a few hours ago. I brought you here. Just calm down, what's your problem?" This seemed to snap her out of whatever had gripped her and she shook her head, sheathing the knife she grinned and put her hand behind her head, her cheeks turning red from shame. "N-nothing. Just a nightmare." "Must have been one hell of a nightmare...you pulled a knife and-" "Yeah that happens from time to time. I'm fine though, no worries. Just old memories haunting me is all I'm sure you know what that's like." He frowned, obviously not buying it, and Anue could feel her heart beat quicken slightly, she really didn't feel like explaining that at the moment. She looked around, searching for something to change the subject and blinked quickly as she looked at Heru. "You know...your still half naked. How come you haven't gotten on a full set of clothes if this is where you live?" This did the trick as he looked down at him self and began to curse quietly, mumbling about 'Kurarma and his damned grin' or this or that. She couldn't make out all of it, but blinked as he vanished into an adjacent room which she could only guess to be his bathroom. She lay back down, huddling down into her sleeping bag, she feigned sleep as Heru came back into the room. "I know your not sleeping. I can hear your breathing." She poked her head out. "You want to explain what that was all about?" She shook her head, her eyes downcast as she took a deep breath before frowning. "The world is covered in demons, I had to figure out a way to defend my self." "Okay, and the growling?" "Some times a weaker demon would think I was stronger or just more gutsy from just standing my ground and showing dominance." "Hence the growling?" She nodded. "And I can't remember how many times I've killed a hunter that tried to kill me in my sleep, or even a weaker, starving demon...I'm sorry I acted that way towards you Heru. I know you wouldn't hurt me." He brushed her off and settled back into the chair, crossing his arms and closing his eyes. "Yeah, well your safe, so go back to sleep." She nodded slightly before slipping back into her sleeping bag, but sleep was near impossible to come by that any more that night. The nightmare being the worst and most reoccurring one, she shuddered slightly as silence fell in the room.
  3. Bayel for once dressed casually, a light blue button down shirt, the sleeves billowed out past her hands, and a pair of black slacks. She pulled her eye patch over the scarred eye and buckled her boots. Opening the door she made her way out onto the streets, her hair blew across her face making her frown.  "It's so quiet here..." 'There is death on the wind.' She nodded slightly and began to walk, her heeled boots clicking on the concrete under her, but her keen ears picked up the sound of other feet, quietly, but not enough; she was being followed. Frowning more she could only think it was due to her encounter with the followers earlier that night. She scoffed, they were starting to get on her nerves about as much as Garrick; picking up her pace she could hear them follow and grit her teeth. Malik would be cross with her for getting into it with these people twice in a single night. She suddenly slipped down an alley and lept up onto the roof of a building watching as indeed a few of the men robed in white sprinted down the alley after her. She frowned and listened closely. "Find her, we're supposed to kill them remember?" She felt a growl bubble from her throat but stopped as the thought registered.  "Malik..." She stood and sprinted across the roofs, leaping from one to the next with little to no effort, her breathing remained even as she pumped her legs as fast as she could. 'He's with the mage.' This fueled her even more as the conversation her and Garrick had flowed back through her mind, her need to find Malik reaching a new height as it reached near panic. She stopped on a roof top and looked around, her hair whipping this way and that as her eye scanned the area as best she could. "Malik...where are you...?" She sprinted across a few more rooftops til she skidded to a halt, looked over the edge she could see him, pulling Garrick with him, their speech to low for her to hear. Catching the little breath she had lost she pushed off the side and landed in front of them. "Lord Malik. We're being-" "I am well aware Knight Bayel. We're to find the others. But stay together." She nodded, straitening her shirt she fell in step behind Malik, putting her self between the first born and the perusing threat.      I know it's short, but I'm hoping to jump start this. >.>;
  4. Hooooot~ *melts*

  5. It had indeed been a long night, Anue not only had to try and keep up with the man, but also keep her curiosity at bay, which at the moment was proving harder then usual. They had finally settled down in a small clearing, hardly worth calling it that and were proceeding to make camp. Anue watched as Heru moved fluidly about doing this or that with practiced precision. Finally she spoke, keep her eyes down at what she was doing she opened her mouth. "You've been alone for a while...haven't you?" He didn't answer, the only indication that she had that he heard her words was the slight pause in his actions.  "I have too...my parents...if you could even call them that, they left me in the woods out side of the city I was born in. They were some of the more well off people in this world now, so their reputation mattered more to them then anything. And I guess people talk a lot when they don't know about something. My birth defects apparently make me look like a half demon, but your the first I've seen so I don't understand that...you look normal enough to me. Besides the blue hair." She bent the small stick in her hand slightly before going back to sharpening the tip with one of her few knives. "But I guess some of their neighbors got to talking, saying my mother was abducted or something like that and began to say I was a half demon. I guess the rumors were to much for the snobby jerks and they took me outside the barrier and left me there. I don't remember how old I was...a band of 'gypsies' took me in and raised me. But I suppose they were suspicious of me as well cause when I hit 10 or 11 they began to hint here and there and I just eventually ran away." She finally looked up, a large smile on her face. "But I think I've done well for my self." She met Heru's stare and sighed. "I know I know...you didn't ask. Just trying to make conversation." "What makes you think I want conversation?" "You just seem kinda lonely and withdrawn." "It's none of your business." She shrugged and stood with a small stretch. "Never said it was, did I?" She grabbed the long walking stick she carried and bent it slightly, slipping a long piece of twine around the end before bending it more and slipping the twine on the other end of the stick as well making a large long bow. Notching the make shift arrow to the twine she pulled a few times and nodded to her self, Heru's voice holding a note of apprehension behind her.  "What are you doing with that?" "Hunting." She walked towards the edge of the camp and sighed stilling her hand she watching carefully and at the first sign of movement she let the small arrow fly, hearing the thump of it hit it's target she walked out of sight and back in a matter of moments, in her hand was a small rabbit, barely enough for one person. Heru watched as she skinned, cleaned and began to ready the small animal for the fire. She could feel his eyes boring into her this time and looked up. "What?" "That's all you eat?" She scoffed. "Like there's really much around anymore...it's all I can do to find this." She finished cleaning the rabbit and placed it on a makeshift pit over Heru's fire, once it was done she took it off and chopped it in half looking at Heru. "Heads or tails?" He raised an eye brow at her making her frown. "Heads or tails Heru?" He looked away frowning himself. "Doesn't matter." She shook her head and handed him the leg half before biting down in the shoulder and ripping off a chunk of meat; she watching him as she chewed her own food before swallowing and looking at her half of rabbit. "So your a lycanthrope type?" Heru remained silent as he chewed his own food. "And so was the other demon you killed? I would imagined them to be more demon like..." She saw his eye brow raise slightly. "Did you have to rip to piece like that?" Heru turned on her. "I told you to look away!" She shrank back slightly, but not out of fear but from the level of his voice. "I'm no stranger to violence Heru...I've seen blood and I've seen the rendered bodies of people from demon attacks. It's not something I'm sensitive to." She tore another piece of meat off the rabbit and chewed it slowly. "I'm honestly not a child Heru. I'm no where near a kid." "You are to me." He blinked as a bone hit him on the side of the head. "I'm not! I've killed, I've seen killings, I've seen the destruction hell has released on this planet." "And lemme guess you hate demons." She shook her head slowly. "Not at all. How could I hate demons, or half demons when I've been treated like one my whole life? I know what kind of discrimination you go through, I know the hate you face. Having felt that...how I could I hate you? It's only right you hate humans for the way they treat you. As if you have no feelings, or no soul. It's not right." She met his gaze and saw him staring at her oddly. "What...?" "Your a strange one aren't you?" She shook her head. "Say that all you want, it's not gonna make it go away. So yes, I guess I'm strange." Finishing her small meal she threw the bones in the fire and sighed. "So...when are you gonna leave me behind? In my sleep? While I'm not looking?" He blinked again this time clear confusion written on his face. "What are you talking about? I've been trying to leave you behind this whole time, you've been following me. I even told you I had no intention of looking for a friend." She nodded slowly. "True...but I know, and you know if you really wanted to you could leave and I'd never even know it. You could leave right now, while I'm looking at you and I wouldn't know which way you'd go. I'm not stupid Heru, you have a stronger body, faster too then I do." He sighed and shook his head. "Go to sleep kid." "Anue. If I can't call you blueberry, you can't call me kid." She slipped into her sleeping bag and sighed before poking her head out slightly looking at Heru. "Will you be here in the morning or will I wake up alone?" "Go to sleep kid." "Anue." "Whatever, go to sleep. I'll keep watch." She smiled slightly before slowly ducking her head back into her sleeping bag. "Thank you Heru..." She slipped into a peaceful sleep for the first time in years.
  6. This day did not start out the way she had planned, nope...not one bit. She could hear her heartbeat ringing in her ears as her slight frame moved through the thick brush easily. She had been hoping that it would deter her follower...but no such luck. She cursed under her breath, her pack was starting to become heavy and she could feel her body protesting more and more. Chancing a glance over her shoulder she saw the thick built man crash through more of the underbrush, still hot on her trail. "Come back and face me demon spawn!" "Leave me alone old man!"  She couldn't say she was overly surprised by the fact that this random hunter had mistaken her for a half demon, being born with certain birth defects that had a negative effect on her hair and eye color. Her said snow white hair was billowing behind her now having come out from under her hat during the chase. She ducked a fallen tree and continued her route, trying her hardest to out last him, but she knew it was only a matter of time, and that time was soon. Stopping for a moment she tried to decide which route to take, the sounds of him getting closer urged her forward. She had lost count of how long he had been chasing her, had it been one day or two?  "What am I doing? Why don't I just put a knife through his face? I could do it...I know I could...Ugh, cause if I did that then I really would be no better then the evil ones out there, and I need my knives, so I can't do that. Even though I know I could...I need to find a really good place to hide that's what I nee-" Her outspoken thoughts were interrupted as she stumbled into the open, the smell of a smoldering fire hitting her and the bright mid day sun glaring into her eyes. Her eyes quickly scanned the area landing on a man sitting on a stump, his face was hard set as his eyes seemed to lazily look up to meet her's. He showed no indication that her entrance had shocked him, but she could see the rifle butt jutting out from his shoulder as his hand rested on a revolver sitting on his hip. Her eyes lit up as an idea suddenly hit her. "Mister! Mister please help me!" This did seem to get his attention as his eye brows met in the middle, in a deep frown, he did not seem happy about this. "Please please please! PLEASE. There's a hunter after me that thinks I'm a half demon, and I'm really not, though even if I were I'd probably still be running from him cause I don't want any part of this and if you could please please please help me get out of this it would be great!" She still sat where she had fallen, staring at him; she had never seen anyone with blue hair and it left her extremely curious.  "He has blue hair...I've never seen a person with blue hair...I wonder why he has blue hair. Oh, what if he dyes it with blueberries or something like that?" He was now staring at her as if she had multiple head growths or something. It was then the hunter decided to make his entrance. He too stumbled into the campsite, but unlike Anue he regained his footing before he had fallen. She could see the man tense instantly at the sight of the hunter. "Here you are, you half breed monster!" "I told you before, I'm not a half demon!" "I can see your hair and eyes my self you beast, do not take me for a fool!" "They're birth defects you jerk!" She dropped to the ground, her hands over her head as a sword whipped above her, aiming to take her head. Skittering forward she rolled onto her back looking at the hunter wide eyed. Whoa! Your using a sword now?!" He didn't grace her with an answer this time, only raised the bladed weapon once more, aiming to strike her, it never hit, she looked up to find that the blue haired man had moved, he was standing over her, the hunters wrists gripped tightly with one hand. An inhuman growl emitted from his throat sending small shivers up Anue's back. She watched as he twisted his body gracefully and threw the hunter back into the dense woods he had chased her through; taking the rifle from his back in a fluid movement she watched, entranced as he aimed and pulled the trigger. It had happened so quickly, and so fluidly she wasn't even sure that it had happened; but as he moved past her and began to gather his things with every intention of leaving.  "W-wait!" She struggled to her feet and followed as he began to leave, his face set in a hard expression again. "Hey, Blueberry wait!" He stopped and looked over his shoulder at her, his eyes showing only the slightest bit of confusion. "Thanks for that! I really thought I was a goner." She sighed as she reached his side and began to walk next to him. "So, all that speed and strength...you must be a half demon then! Are you? Are you really? I bet you are that's so cool!" He still remained silent, as if pretending she wasn't there would make her go away.  "I wonder what kind of demon he is...he growled, could he be an animal like one? If he is I wonder what kind. What if he's mean? No silly if he was mean he'd have killed you too so he can't be mean." She looked up to notice he had fallen behind her and was now staring at her. "What are you doing back there Mr. Blueberry? Wait was I talking to my self? Sorry about that, I do that way to much. Oh by the way my name is Anue!" She waited patiently til he finally said something, his voice barely reaching her as he still stared. "You have deep seated issues...don't you?" She blinked a few time, then bent over, her arms hugging her stomach as she laughed out loud.
  7. Naruto sat behind the desk, his brows furrowed in concentration as he picked up another piece of paper and looked it over, before laying it down and plucking another and doing the same. He repeated this action over and over. You can do that all you want Kit. The result will always be the same. 'I know Kurama...but this makes no sense. I killed him. I know I did.' He's not one to go down so easily. Even if a small amount of his chakra was left he would find a way to come back. 'I should talk to Bee about this...' It would be wise.   Naruto rose from his desk as the door slammed open, Sakura stomping through the door. "You know, if your friends wanted to come over all they had to do was KNOCK Naruto!" The blonde smiled as he watched her brush sand from her shoulders. "I take it Gaara is here?" "You think?!" He flinched, almost expecting the hit that never came, from behind her, the tall red head floated in, his face was impassive, Kankuro walking behind him, no doubt Temari had gone to find Shikamaru. "Kazekagae." Gaara nodded. "Hokage." Naruto smirked as Gaara extended his hand, taking it he shook it firmly. "You have news?" Gaara nodded slowly as Sakura and the puppet master exchanged looks. "Fine, we'll leave." Sakura slammed the door as they left. "What's up Gaara?" "Shukaku has been reborn. We weren't sure of it at first when the child came into the world, but all these years later, we're sure of it." "Shukaku...do you miss it?" Gaara looked thoughtful for a moment, then shook his head. "No. It was a curse to me. But it seems as if his new host is very accommodating. He has yet to rampage through the Sand." Naruto nodded. "Impressive." I would imagine who ever his host is now, has been able to control him. Must be a talented ninja. Gaara looked at Naruto, then back to his paper-laden desk. "Have you got anything interesting?" Naruto nodded slowly. "I do. Madara." Gaara's eyes widened slightly. "I thought-" Naruto nodded.  "So did I. I also have other reports as well. The other beasts have been reborn as well. I fear that the war is going to start once again between the villages and Madara." Gaara flipped his headband over, the united crest shining back at Naruto, who nodded. "Our first step is getting the Jinjuriki together so we can keep an eye on all of them. I don't want what happened last time to happen again. I won't let them die. Not on my watch." I can help Kit. You should send message to Bee and Hichibi as well. Naruto slammed his fist on his desk, Sakura and Kankuro coming back through the door. "Sakura, you and Sai head for Kumogakure. Tell Bee I need to see him as soon as he's able, its urgent. Before you go I need you to assemble Kiba, Shino and Hinata, I also need Kakashi and Yamato." Skaura frowned worriedly. "Is every thing alright Naruto?" "No. I'll explain when you get back with Bee." In a flash Sakura was gone, Kankuro stood next to his brother. "Gaara?" "We need to go now. We have much to do. I'll explain on the way. Go and fetch Temari." In another flash Kankuro was gone, Gaara nodded to the blonde who in turn nodded back, and with a swirl of sand the Kazekage was gone.  Looking out the window looking over Konohana, Naruto's sapphire eyes drifted to the cliff in the back off the village, the rock faces staring back at him; his eyes locked onto his father. Another ninja war...only this time, the Jinjuriki will be fighting with us. Naruto nodded, his brows meeting in determination as Sakura and the others he requested appeared in his office. "We have a class S mission. Starting now. These are your orders..."   Alright, so there are seven open Tailed Beasts, Killer Bee and Naurto being alive the 8 and 9 tails are already taken, and as such Bee and Naruto will be NPCs in this RP. 8. Name: Anue Crafst Age: 25 Gender: Female Appearance: Stands  at an average 5'6, she is unusually skinny for her age and extremely underweight only a measly 98 lbs. Though skinny she has a decent amount of muscle and is sometimes mistaken as a young man from a distance, her undernourishment not allowing her body to develop as properly as it should have. Her face is still fair, though hard from years of hard living, she has snow white hair that reaches to her mid back when not held in a pony tail and tucked into the old army cap she found; and different colored eyes, her left is blue while the right is brown. She wears old, ragged jeans that have holes in the knees and back pockets, with make shift patches littering them all over. Her shirt, if it could be called that is thin, and supposedly white, though dingy and grey from over wear. Originally being a long sleeve shirt it has been torn and ripped, only one small strap hangs from her left shoulder, the right being gone, the shirt only covers her torso to her navel, a thin, fleece jacket covers her upper body to keep her warm on cold nights. Her shoes are a pair of men's boots she found, they are slightly to big for her feet, but they work and even for being to big, after getting used to the size and weight she has learned to barely make any noise in them.  Personality: Still somewhat naive, she sees the good in everyone and is friendly to the people she meets, though  not releasing any information on her self she trusts no one, and gives no one any room to trust her. She isn't cruel or hard to people or half demons, but her life has made it very hard for her to get close to anyone and allow them to get to know her. Some times mistaken as insane since she's grown accustomed to being alone and talking to herself, and often does it in front of people without even realizing it. Even with all these quirks, she still manages to get by.  Species: Human Species Description:  Abilities: Though an average human, her size and weight gives her advantages others don't have. Her size allows her to slip in and out of small areas most people would never think of going, her weight allowing her to move quicker then most people she can move through a crowd easier, slipping between legs, and arms, or even between bodies much simpler then an average sized person. Her weight and size also giving her an upper hand on pick pocketing, her touches being so light they are rarely ever felt, and if they are she's disappeared into the crowd before anyone can spot her. Even though she has the ability to fight rather well, it does her little good when most of her opponents shadow her in both size and weight.  Supplies: Living outside of most cities, Anue carries a full backpack, and a small waist pack, the back pack is stuffed with a small tent, and an old sleeping bag. It also contains a few lighters and a portable camping stove with a few fold-able camping pots and pans. The waist pack contains small strips of cloth soaked in oil for lamps and for starting fires. It also contains a long, neatly rolled thong of twine. She also carries a small pouch on her right thigh that she keep a few throwing daggers she found, a hunting knife stays hung at her belt. A long, flexible walking stick is always in her hands, though when she finds the means to make arrows, the thong of twine comes out and the walking stick becomes a hand made long bow for hunting. Even with the advanced technology she knows to be around her she prefers to live simply, the blurred memories of her stingy, self centered parents keeping her humble. Background: Being a human, it makes little sense on why Anue lives outside the cities and protection of their barriers, but even though a human she is, she is shunned from the human world because of her looks. Being called a half-breed all her life because of her birth defects, her different colored eyes and snow white hair leaving her utterly alone in the world. Her parents, though knowing she was well and full human gave into the taunts and spreading rumors of their daughters origins took her outside of the barrier at the young age of 2 and left her in the wild woods alone and unprotected, their status more important to them then the life of the little girl they had birthed. After roaming through the woods for days, she was found by a group of rovers, dehydrated and nearly starved to death her human nature was more the evident and  they took her in and raised her; altogether giving her a very large extended family.  Even though she is human she harbors no ill will towards the half demons or their kind, knowing what it was life to be shunned and left our of most things her entire life because of her looks she pities them more then hates them. She even has hopes of finding and talking to one at some point in her life.
  9. Bayel felt a hissing growl quietly escape her as she felt her hand twitch, she didn't always use it, but the little magic she did have was not one she liked to use and losing her temper with the Battle Mage, and harming him would no doubt be something Malik would be cross about. Taking a deep breath she reluctantly followed. She lost her focus slightly as the constant voice whispered in her ear, the same voice that followed her everywhere. 'The Mage has a logical point' She almost replied angrily but bit down on her tongue to keep quiet as she followed, her eyes focusing; and as she looked around she noticed that others were beginning to walk in the general direction Garrick and her were moving. Excited whispering floating around them, it was a silent buzz that she couldn't make out but she knew something was up. Moving closer to Garrick she tried to keep as much distance from the man as she could to speak to him quietly. "Something is happening." "I noticed. What do you think it is?" She felt her hand twitch again, just his tone rubbed her the wrong way. "I think we should find out." The followed the crowd along the streets til they reached the courtyard where Chu'val's disciples were rumored to be, and there in the middle, they were. People crowded around them, excited, craning their necks to try to get a glimpse of Chu'val, were he to appear.  "Something does not settle well with me about the Battle Mage. Something feels wrong." Garrick nodded as he too began to sense the unrest around them. She could hear people whispering around her. "He's amazing, a true hero. I only wish he came around more. I've been sending prayers to him every night." "Lord Chu'val please show us your greatness this night." Bayel felt her stomach drop more and more as she heard this whispers. "Garrick-" He turned to her wide eyed, she had used his name. "-They are revering him as a God is seems, or something akin to it. Listen with your own ears." Seconds passed before Garrick frowned and nodded slowly. The listened for another moment, before everyone began to quiet down as one of the disciples stood in front of the crowd. "My fellow followers, you have heard the rumors with your own ears, as have I. The Knights are moving towards us! A convoy of them has been found on their way to Babel! They were attacked, attacked for the fact that they are coming to take your freedoms away! The Dragon Commander would have you believe that he is the nobleman among these war mongers, but in fact he is not better! We must look to Lord Chu'val for protection, we must offer our prayers to Lord Chu'val for his mercy and grace! In the end he will be our savior and save us from the vile Dragon Knights and their blood thirsty leader! Soon we will-" Bayel had stopped listening, her temper rose with each word spoken, and Garrick next words broke her. "I told you there were others who felt this way." She shoved through the crowd, pushing women and men out of her way, being sure to avoid any children as she stalked through the crowd, Garrick trying to follow her as best as he could but she was determined and was ready to bash in this disciple's face in, and do worse to Garrick if he try to stop her. Reaching the front of the crowd she stalked forward, her small frame shaking slightly. "A new comer? Have you come to give your prayers to Lord Chu'val and become a devote follower? Have you come to-" Her left foot swung around, catching the man in the face and sending him a foot away from her, holding his bruised cheek and wiping the blood from his lip. "Heathen! Only a Dragon Knight has this kind of strength! I warned you! It is as I said, they have come to-" She grabbed his collar and hauled him to his feet holding him off the ground, her voice grinding out dangerously. "If you value your life, you will keep that black hole in your face shut! The nonsense it spews sickens me! How dare you speak against my Commander!" She felt a hand on her shoulder, trying to pull her back, throwing it off she continued to shake the man harshly, growling at him. "You are a worthless man, I should end you here and now. I have heard more then enough slander against the First Born and I will not stand for it any longer!" She threw him back into the crowd of disciples, her icy blue eye daring them to get up and come at her, and so they did. The fight was nothing more then a street fight, blows exchanged, black eyes given, bruises traded; but when it was all said and done, the disciples were worse for wear on stamina then Bayel and she stood across from them, covered in dirt, her lip oozing blood from a lucky blow the crowd gathered around them, forming a human wall around 'their people'. Bayel growled low in her throat at them before she turned on her heel and walked away towards Garrick, who, had managed to stay out of the fight somehow. "Your all fools!" Grabbing her jacket that she had discarded during the fight she grabbed Garrick's collar and yanked him with her, telling him they were leaving. "I'm going back to Malik, go to the tavern, get drunk, I don't care. I'm sick of this place and it's people already!" She stalked through the town back towards the docked airship, she sat at the loading dock til she saw Malik approach her. "Knight Bayel, what-" "If you pair me with him, with that annoying infuriating man at all, ever again, I will render the skin and flesh from his bones and leave him for dead!" She didn't wait for an answer from him, simply stalked away towards the shabby Inn across the street, paid for a room and went up to. After taking a bath she sank onto the bed still damp and exhausted. She sighed wishing she had spent the past few hours with the boy rather then Garrick.
  10. Bayel's shrieking roar resounding through the air after Malik's, her lithe, snow white body coiling through the clouds as she followed Malik, til she was side swiped but a massive figure; baring her teeth she twisted around, her thin form making it easy as she latched onto the dragon holding her. Her sharp little teeth sinking into the snout and gouging deeply. The dragon let out a roar and released her quickly, her feathered wings furled out and pushed wind into them, her body twisting quickly and moving out of the dragon's range. Twisting her body she looked back at the dragon following her, filling her lungs she let out a growl and a hiss as she felt the fire building. She opened her mouth and let it spew, the neon blue fire streaking across the sky, slamming into the larger dragon.  'The boy...the boy called the dead.' She felt her body seize suddenly at the thought before she shrieked, the larger dragon slamming into her again, it's head and back spikes smoking as it snapped at her. "You wench!" She bared her teeth as the growling voice echoed through the dragon's throat. "I'll kill you for that." She twisted her body as it's massive jaws snapped forward, missing, her thin, lithe form giving her leeway to dodge, even at close proximity. She snaked her body around and sank her teeth into the dragon's tender underbelly causing it to release her, whipping her tail around she hit the beast across the face. It's massive head snapped to the side, it plummeted towards the ground; looking up at the air ship she pushed her self towards it, her thin head reaching in slightly, her jaws wrapping around a soldier and pulling him out, letting go she let him plummet and followed him til she reached Malik's level, her tail snapping forward and wrapping around the neck of the dragon she had been fighting before, pulling her self close she snapped her jaws in his face and pulled him with her away from Malik; she let out a shrieking roar as it's claws dug into her shoulder, blood pouring from the wound as she twisted her body around his, making it harder for him to maneuver. They fell at least twenty feet below the others, into their own air space. Releasing him she twisted her body around, her neon blue fire spouting forth and slamming into his chest, she watched as he shook it off and inhaled deeply, preparing his own fire, she readied her self, her good eye making sure to look around, keeping tabs on Malik as well as the air ship.
  11. Bayel shook her head slightly, with a small smile creasing her lips at the left corner, the boy had talent and who were they to say he could not for his home? She blinked as she noticed Cassandra staring at her. "Your coming along...aren't you?" Bayel stood and felt her back pop and stretch, but gave no indication, she strolled forward, stopping infront of Cassandra and meeting her eyes. "Think what you will of me Lady Wizard, I would give my life before letting harm set upon him, without any personal feeling getting in the way. He is the key to winning this war, and stopping the cruelty and destruction. I can hear the voices of the dead, and I've heard tales of Corvin's malice. It's enough to set my convictions without hearing Malik's speech." She didn't wait for any response, she simply walked to her room, grabbed a small pack full of her things, a sleeping bag if needed, her brush, her soap and a few other things she would need. Slinging it over her shoulder she strolled from her room and stopped outside of the door. Looking back, her eyes softened, how long had she lived here? How long had she been a part of this..would she be coming back? Closing the door slowly she made her way towards the hanger, as she got close she noticed the young boy huffing out side the hanger. "What's wrong young one?" He looked up at her with a frown. "They won't let me in yet." He crossed his arms and legs, floating in front of her.  "Young one, they have to finish preparations." Julian nodded and dropped to the floor as the door opened, he rushed in looking this way and that, his eyes alight. "What are you looking for young one?" "I thought he'd be here." "Malik? I'm sure he will show on his own time. He's been that way since the day he found me." She looked down at him, he was staring at her with a smile on his face. "Are you a dragon too?!" She felt a smile try to spread across her face, but kept it hidden. "That I am young one. I was chosen years ago, and ever since this war has broken out I swore to keep an eye on him and keep  him safe from harm." Julian hopped up and down slightly. "Can you change into a dragon? Can you can you can you?" "I can, when the time calls for it." "Like now?! I wanna see a dragon really bad!" She shook her head slightly and smiled a little. "When the time calls for it young one, you will see my self and the good Lord Malik change." Julian huffed, and Bayel shook her head. "Until that time comes why not join me in finding a spot of the air ship." She covered her mouth as he seemed to remember about the ship, and took off running for it, shaking her head, she followed him at her own pace.
  12. Bayel sat at her desk, looking over the letters she had received from her family over the years, some from her many brothers, others from her mother or father, but all of them from the same place. Not many, if any, knew she came from the Westlands, a small village, remote and not bothered. Most people didn't even know it existed, the small gypsy village had the same reputation she her self did. No one bothered them, they were 'creepy' and strange, and left to their own devices; her entire family had the same trait as her self. Most if not all of them could hear the whispers of their ancestor's, the elder of the village was revered to be one of the strongest links to the realm of the dead. She sighed, she missed them so, the tower she lived in now was cold, and dark, and lonesome. Oh, of course they would still be there when she returned, though grey, and weathered, they would be there. Her village had the rumor of long life, she believed it was one reason she had been chosen. She jerked out of her thoughts as there was a rap on her door; she slipped the papers back into her desk, closed the drawer and stood, her heeled boots clicking on the floor. Opening the door she recognized Cassandra, her eye brow tilted slightly. She wasn't a fan of this woman, her feelings seemed to cloud her judgment most of the time, and the cold demeanor towards Bayel made the blue haired woman even less inclined to like, let alone talk to the woman. She seemed to be connected to Malik at the hip, which did not bear well with her either. Many lords of his stature get taken down by one closest to them and she was weary of the women. Cassandra looked at her as if she were going to turn into a specter and steal the souls of the inhabitants of the tower at any moment.   "Malik wishes a council with you." 'Something has happened.' She refocused on the woman and nodded, turning back into her modest room she grabbed her jacket, slipped it on and walked past her with a swish of her coat. Or it could have been jealousy that was shining in Cassandra's eyes, was she jealous of Bayel? She couldn't understand why, Malik rarely spoke to her unless he needed to, where as Cassandra was is ever present companion. Bayel closed her eyes, her feet taking her where she wanted to go, did other people feel the same as the lady wizard? She honestly could care less, her duty was to Malik and none other, he was their only hope to end the war, and she was going to do what ever it took to make sure he stayed alive long enough for it to happen. She kept her head down as she walked towards Malik's meeting room, if any one was in the halls as she walked through they moved away from her as she made her way to her destination, she could hear the shuffling of their feet as they got out of her way, her steps were swift til she made it to his door. Rapping on it smartly she waited til she heard him speak. "Enter." Walking in she closed the door behind her and stood waiting from him. 'Something is wrong.' Bayle ignored the voice for once, keep her attention on Malik.  "Moretal, did you know why I've called for you?" "No Sir, I do not." "You've seem to have taken it upon your self to be my personal guard." "Sir?" "You follow me like a puppy." "Sir, your the most important person to our cause Sir, if any thing were to happen to you, our ranks would be shaken and would begin to fall apart. I only try to make sure you stay safe, Sir." "Well, you'll be getting your chance, I have something that needs to be done and you'll be coming with me." "Yes Sir. I'll do my best." "I'm sure you will." She frowned, his voice was still stiff, as if he didn't quite trust her. "Sir, might I ask something?" He didn't answer, only turned his head slightly to look at her. "Is there a reason, you seem to distance your self from me more then most?" He didn't answer her, only turned back towards the window, looking out. She nodded, knowing the conversation to be over. 'He is worried.' "Sir, your worried." Again he said nothing, only continued to gaze out the window. "Everything will work out in our favor Sir. By life or limb I'll make sure no harm comes to you, so that you may put an end to this war." Inclining her head to his back she retreated and waited for the summons she knew to be coming when it was time for them to move.
  13. Name: Bayel Moretal Age: 25 Gender: Female Race: Human Appearance: Bayel stands at 5'6, her form fit and womanly, yet strong, She wears an eye patch over her right eye which she lost in a previous battle. Her attire is simple, black slacks and a white tank top shirt which she wears a blue jacket over it. Her heeled boots giving her another inch to her height. Her blue hair and piercing green eye make her look exotic, or menacing depending on her mood.  (attachment)   Her dragon form is unique as she is a White dragon, her scales slightly translucent so that when the sun hits her scales they have a rainbow shimmer to them. The right side of her face is marred by a large scar rending her eye useless while her left eye is Emerald green, piercing and fierce. Her build is slightly smaller then most Dragons, her talons not as deadly looking as her build is more for speed. Her back spikes replaced by a sleek green mane; her wings feathered and slim.  (attachment)  Class:Dragon Knight Abilities: Bayel was given the unique ability to hear the whispers of the deceased. Not able to see them, she often freezes in her place, her gaze lost and distant as she listens to the advice of warriors passed. Besides this strange ability she is well trained in hand to hand combat, her loss of one eye giving her a better ability to sense her enemy allowing her to counter or attack with precision giving her melee prowess a few notches above others.  Motives: Bayel's motive is to stay as close to Malik as possible and keep him safe and alive. Having taken it upon her self to protect him, from the start of the war enemies targeting him to put an end to the war, she follows him constantly in order to keep him safe. No doubt to his own annoyance.    Snippet: Bayel tapped on the door, the hollow echoing of it reverberating through the hall. "What?" "Breakfast." She could hear him shifting and moving around the room, faint whispers echoing through her mind. 'He's annoyed.' She blinked as the door cracked open to reveal a sleep ruffled and rather annoyed looking Malik, Bayel bowed her head slightly and presented him with a tray of dried meat, fruit and cheese, a pitcher of water on the corner. No more words were exchanged as he took the tray and slammed his door shut as she turned, the whispers returning. 'He's grateful' She moved through the halls now, listening for any threat, as she made her way back down to the kitchens to retrieve her own breakfast, much the same as Malik's only her's consisted of meat, bread and cheese, not being a large fan of fruit. Sitting at a small table she began to eat, pausing often to stare ahead as more whispers filtered through her mind. They were so often any more she was used to them and seemed to operate even as she was listening. Her movements automatic anymore as her body continued to feed her. After several moments she finished her meal and wiped her mouth and hands, taking her tray back to the kitchen she rinsed it off and handed it to the woman manning the wash sink, her heels clicking on the stone floor as she made her way back down the hall. She stopped in front of a certain door, her keen hearing picking up the snores from the other side letting her know he had gone back to sleep instead of eating. 'He hates that your such an early riser'  She gave no indication that she had heard the whisper, she made her rounds through the halls, taking her time knowing he would be more annoyed to wake finding her there, he had told her many times that he hated finding her waiting outside his door in the mornings. She inclined her head to those she passed, she never said much, speaking mainly to Malik, people didn't seem to mind, her demeanor being somewhat 'creepy'. She stopped suddenly, her gaze losing it's focus as information flooded her mind. The whispering filtering through her mind so quickly it was hard to hear all of it. She turned and moved quickly through the halls back to Malik's room, the door still closed, her heart slowly slightly til she saw one of his ambassador's striding forward. She leaned on the wall and waited, not sure what was going on, but not willing to allow Malik to endure it alone. Such was her purpose now, him being the first born he was the most important person to their cause at the moment and she was unwilling to allow harm to reach him. Be it at the cost of her own life.
  14. The sound was that of skin on skin, and at first Hunter had thought he had interuptted something til he heard the hiss of exhaustion he knew all to well from him self. The door had been cracked and he moved it slightly to look in and blinked as Saph leaned on the leather bag hanging from her ceiling, it was slick with sweat from Saph's arms and hands as she pulled back and punched it, the smack of her flesh resounding through her empty room. Growling Saph grit her teeth and back flipped before rotating her body and swinging her legs around in a wide circle, both her booted feet slamming into the bag, the chain breaking as the bad slammed against the wall. Hunter pushed into the room as Saph fell to one knee. "Saph, you alright?" She looked up at him with wide eyes. "When did you-" "A few minutes. You were going at it pretty hard. I don't think you would have heard an attack coming. What were you thinking about?" "How I wish Averin would get out of my head...how that man was right." "He wasn't- Wait...Averin?" "My KNIGHT. He hasn't been quiet since I left the hanger..." "Y-you can hear him?" "Clear as a bell. Have been able to ever since I started this." "I don't think any of the others have said anything about being able to hear their KNIGHTs." "Yeah I know, I'm crazy." "Not really...I can hear Vox." She looked up at him with a raised brow. "You remember what Bear said?" "Yeah, you think?" She shook her head with a small glimpse of a smile. "Looks that way. So what brings you here anyway?" "I wanted to check on you, make sure you alright." "How bad was he on you?" "I didn't give him a chance. I think I did make the mistake of punching him in the face. I was to angry to really think about what I was doing." She laughed at this and shook her head. "You should be careful Hunter. Might get in trouble." "I really wish he comes after me. I'd love to lay another on him. That felt good." Saph snorted with a laugh as they both sat down on her bed, she folded her arms behind her head and leaned on the wall with a small smile. She was relaxed as they talked.  "Can you believe this guy though? I mean he acts like we trash." Saph shook her head slowly. "We probably are to him. He's a soldier, we're just kids plucked from the dead bodies of our classmates and thrown into the KNIGHTs to see if we work." Hunter nodded then frowned. "Why do you think they do it that way? Instead of finding an easier way?" "Crowd control? Maybe to keep our population controlled until all this is over? Who knows. Humans are fickle beings." Hunter nodded. "Your right there." They chatted here and there, about this or that before Saph frowned at her clock. "It's been 2 hours since you got here. You don't think anyone is looking for you?" "I doubt it. Even if they were they'd have found me by now." Saph raised her eye brow, gaining a small head tilt from Hunter. "What?" Saph shook her head. "Who in their right mind would look for you with me?" "Your the team lead why wouldn't they look for me here?" Taking a deep breath Saph pinched her nose. "I'm not really known as a social butterfly Hunter. If you haven't noticed, not a whole lot of people talk to me. I'm known as kind of a loner." "Why? You don't see so bad to me." Saph felt her cheeks heat slightly. "Thanks, I think. But really, you should probably head out and see if McAsshole is looking for you." "He probably is. Which makes me want to stay hidden here that much more." Saph laughed, and blushed slightly as her stomach growled. "That workout make you hungry?" She nodded. "Always does." Hunter nodded. "Know what you mean, well, what do you say we brave the outside world together and find us some food?" She smiled slightly. "Sounds like a plan." Not bothering to change from her sweat covered work out clothes she followed Hunter into the hall and towards the mess hall, small coversation flowing between them easily.    (Alright, if you haven't noticed, Dante is NOT our friend. They way he cracked down on Saph is how he cracks down on EVERYONE. He is NOT nice, so anyway he can get under your character's skin he will)
  15. Again, we're almost through March and we have 6in of snow, and it's still coming down. O.o

    1. Magus

      Magus

Wow, we just have cold temps.

  16. I think I changed from KG once, but went back to it. Been KG for the longest time lol
  17. Ashlee paced in the room, nervous and not sure what was going on, she was still confused and she could feel her breathing shorten as her door slid open and Jason entered. "You seem stressed." "You think? I wonder why." "You'll get used to it." "No. See that's where your wrong, I don't think I'll ever get used to this. Whatever THIS is! What have you done to us?" "I did nothing, the ring in your navel changed you." "In that case I'll get rid of the damn thing!" As she reached for it Jason spoke, his voice cold and almost hollow sounding. "Stop." She looked up at him, confused on why she was listening to him. "Did you not hear my explanation?" "I was a little sidetracked about the fact that I'm here!" "Calm down." "I will not calm down! Everytime some one says that to me I just get more upset and break shit!" "I will not tell you again, you can not allow your self to get so worked up." "Your not one to tell to me what to do!" She frowned as she felt her skin begin to get hot, her breathing heavy as her vision went red, she looked up at Jason, her anger at him rising the longer she looked at him. As she stood there looked at him, her fangs elongated, her hair melted into a white blonde, her eyes took on an angry glint as she looked up at Jason. Standing straight she placed her hand on her hip and gave him a sultry smile. "Well well...Mr. Master. How good to see you." Jason sighed heavily. "Are you not happy to see me Mr. Master? I thought I was your favorite." She chuckled low in her throat, giving him a light wink. "You'll behave your self." "But I'm known for misbehaving Mr. Master." She laughed again as she circled him, her finger running across his arm and chest, knowing she had no effect, but it was always fun to mess with the Titan. "So...what are we called for this time?" He didn't answer her, but motioned for her to sit, sitting in the chair in front of him she crossed her legs and began to twist a strand of her long hair around her finger slowly. "Well Mr. Master?" "That's not something of your concern." "You see, it is when your using my certain expertise on a daily basis. I thought we had this conversation the last time we were awakened." He rolled his eyes slightly, only enough for some one who was looking for it to see. "As a matter of fact, Mr. Master, I believe we have this conversation every time we're awakened." She crossed her arms over her chest and smiled sweetly at him. "Mind giving me some insight this time?" He remained silent and she held up her hands in defeat as she shook her head. "Alright keep your secrets." Her attention snapped to the door as it opened, a young man stepping through. "Sir, I have that paperwork-" In the blink of an eye Ashlee was behind him, running her finger along his neck, inhaling his scent, meeting Jason's eyes she opened her mouth to bite into his neck when Jason held up his hand. "Stop." His voice was commanding and she smiled at him. "Oh, forgive me Mr. Master, I missed my lunch." She licked the young man's neck before pushing him away she deftly caught the blood bag Jason tossed to her before puncturing it with her fangs and taking a large drink before looking back up at him, licking her teeth clean and smiling. "Not as good, I prefer mine at 98 degrees. And fresh." She laughed as he said nothing only simply left her room, she laughed lightly as her door slid shut. "It's so enjoyable rubbing him the wrong way. He makes it to easy." She giggled before draining the blood bag and laying on her bed looking at the ceiling as she played with a strand of her hair.
  18. Saph shook her head with a small blush as she hopped from the bed and stretched sighing as her muscles relaxed and her joints popped. "I hate sitting around doing nothing." Hunter's voice came from the other side. "I know what you mean. So you think they'll put one of us in charge?" "I have no idea...I'm not to keen on seeing who they get..." She heaved another sigh and within a few minutes she emerged from behind the curtain, in a pair of jeans and a black tank top, she hopped on one foot as she pulled on her last boot, tucking her jeans leg into the boot. Standing she gave Hunter a smile and walked along side him through the halls towards the hanger, they made small talk here and there which stopped as they entered the hanger, the other pilots were already there and so was another man. Saph frowned as she saw him jump from Alverin's cockpit and spit on the ground. "Disgusting. Who ever the pilot is of this KNIGHT should be removed instantly. "OI! That pilot is me asswipe. Why not say that to my face Mr..." "Dante, and I will Magus. Your a pathetic excuse for a pilot and should be removed from this team right this instant." "Who the hell do you think you are?!" "I'm taking over for Bear, you remember him, the man you got killed?" Saph felt her face heat as her cheeks grew red in anger. "Why you son of-" "You've done a poor job is making sure these men and women make it out alive, and your risk your own life time after time for what? Nothing. Your own glory. That's all you are Magus, a glory hound. As long as the rest of them are in your shadow your happy, isn't that right? And what did you think you were doing with the armor of the KNIGHTs? Are you trying to get them killed? Or you? It's to thin, even the smallest piece of shrapnel can pierce that. You should be sent back to training." "Really? What training? We didn't have any training, we were thrown into this with out any kind of warning. The ONLY think we were told was what the Zero might do to us. That's it, and it so happens we're the ones that made it." "Well if you ask me you shouldn't have." Saph opened her mouth to retort when Hunter stepped in. "I don't think you have all your information sir." "And I think you should keep your mouth shut boy. Am I talking to you?" "No sir..." "Good, I'll get to you soon enough." Saph moved in between them. "I thought you had an issue with me, not my team." "Your team? Now that's a laugh. No ma'am, from here on out this is MY team, I'll train you, I'll teach you, I'll equip you and I'll sure as hell hound you until your the best you can be." Saph growled as she grit her teeth. "We're not soldiers!" "Not yet your not. But by the time I'm through with you, you will be." "And if the Barons attack?" "I have units that can handle it." "Units? KNIGHT units? Because I was under the impression that only KNIGHTs can with stand the Baron assaults." "You were told wrong." Saph frowned. "Bear said-" "Bear was a fool! He put his faith in a brat like you and look where it got him! It killed him. I on the other hand-" "Bear was no fool he was-" The slap echoed through out the hanger as Dante's hand left a red welt on Saph's cheek. "You'll show me the respect you refused Bear brat. You'll speak only when spoken to." "Don't even bother! I'm out of here!" Painful tears stung at the corner of Saph's eyes as she turned and stalked from the hanger. "You leave you're never coming back!" "Fine by me!" 'Young one...are you-' 'Averin, not now!' She turned the corner and headed for her new room, upon reaching it she punched in her code, slammed the door shut, and collapsed onto her bed, silent tears seeping from her eyes as her cheek throbbed with pain.
  19. It's March, and we're STILL getting snow... O.o

    1. Kayin Cloud

      Kayin Cloud

Uhm, we've gotten snow in May before...>.>

    2. Kayin Cloud

      Kayin Cloud

Forgive my lack of being surprised <.<

    3. Akieen Cloud

      Akieen Cloud

      You've lived here longer! >.<

  20. Akieen felt the hair on the back of her neck raise, the catacombs were damp and putrid, the smell of decaying flesh was almost overwhelming and she had to cover her nose as she moved ahead of them. She was wary and it showed in her posture as they moved along, the tunnels barely tall enough for any of them to move along. Mikhail had to hunch over to be able to move through them. As they moved through Akieen stopped short, they were most likely half way there, the smell of fresh air hitting her from time to time, but what had made the femwolf stop was what was at her feet. Looking down she caught sight of the small video camera and picked it up, looking it over she frowned as it flipped on and began to play a video. The voice of a young woman came through it. "Cam, I don't think we should be in here. It's creepy." "Awe c'mon Mel, there's nothing down here." "But it smells so bad." So Akieen wasn't the only one who smelt it. "It's connected to the sewers Mel, it's going to smell bad, besides-Hey check this out!" The camera swung around to see a fairly well built young man standing in front of a small stone alter, the light from the camera eliminating the area, Akieen frowned as she could see he was ankle deep in what looked like dust...she felt her heart stop as she realized it was ash. "Cam, what's on the floor?" "Probably dust, this place looks pretty old Mel. Calm down would you." "But Cam its-" "Mel, stop freaking out would you? Come check this out, it's an old necklace or something." Akieen felt the others looking over her shoulder now as the tension grew. "Cam, I think we should get out of here, something doesn't feel right." "Your just pussing out Mel, get over-Mel...Are you moving?" "N-no...I haven't moved since we got in here...why?" "Something is moving around my feet..." Akieen and the others watched as the camera tilted down. "C-cam...the d-dust is moving..." "That's impossible...there's-" His scream made the camera speed upwards as the ash shifted and moved towards him, they all watched horrified as skeletons emerged from the ash, molted skin clinging to the bones as their red eyes flared, mouths full of fangs. "The lost coven..." Kayin looked at her confused. "What?" "The lost coven...they were known for their trade mark of having a mouth full fangs. Not just the normal two to puncture the jugular...but enough fangs to shred what ever they were feeding on. Human or otherwise..." A collective shiver spread through the group. "Oh my are we watching a horror movie? It's quite suspenseful." Akieen growled. "Not right now Lich...as much as you entertain me...this might just be something we need to know." They watched as the skeletons grabbed onto the young man and began to pull, his arms popped and they all knew what was coming next. His screams reached new heights as his skin ripped and tore at his joints, blood splattered the walls as his limbs were torn from his body. His sobs of pain mixing with his screams. "MELANIE HELP ME!" The camera suddenly hit the floor as foot steps could be heard retreating, the girls screams echoing through the catacombs, before her screams were suddenly stifled and the group knew that whatever had captured the young man had found her. They watched now as the skeletons moved in on the limbless young man, his scared whimpers gurgled in his throat as they smothered him, blood seeping from between them, Akieen growled as one of them drew close to the camera, hissing and baring fangs before disintagrateing back into the ash. Nothing was left of the young man, no bones, no blood...nothing.  "...Akieen..." She looked over her shoulder at Dark. "What?" "We have a problem..." His light brightened some and she looked down as he pointed, ash covered the floor, clinging to their shoes. "We should move...keep an eye out and if you see, smell, hear anything call out." They moved slowly now, alert and on edge, Akieen suddenly stopped, her growls bubbling up, Kayin frowning. "Something the matter?" "The ash is shifting, we need to move faster." "Are you sure?" "Positive. Go to the left, the air is fresher that way." Kayin nodded moving the others in that direction, but jumped slightly as Akieen growled more, baring her fangs, her eyes bleeding violet. She suddenly moved in front of him, her back arched as she shifted slowly, the transformation smooth and seamless til the hulking white wolf stood in her place growling dangerously. She looked over her shoulder at him, her eyes softening slightly as she nodded to him before looking forward again, the molted skeletons shuffling towards them, the red glowing eyes baring into them. Akieen's growls grew in volume as they moved forward more, pausing just a moment to take her in before they hissed and lunged forward, Akieen meeting them mid air, crashing into the harshly, her growls rumbling through the tunnels, her teeth snapping and echoing though the area. The others had paused for a moment to look back before moving forward, Dark turning back before Kaying put a hand on his shoulder. "She'd never forgive you if you put your self in danger." "She's my oldest friend, I can not simply let her do this alone." Dark pulled him self free of Kay's grip, the light in his hand igniteing into a fierce flame as he sprinted forward, Akieen's pain filled howl pushing him to move faster. As he drew closer he could see through the dark her hulking form covered in red spots from here they had bitten down into her. She slapped one to the side causing it to shatter on the brick wall.  "Akieen, back to back." She growled letting him know she was less the pleased to see him there, she pushed him away, her voice growling out. "I wanted you all to stay together...the whole place is covered in ash Dark!" His face paled some and he cursed as Akieen picked him quickly and dashed back towards the others. The smell of brimstone and the sinking feeling of death approaching spurred her to move faster. Kayin and Barracus both shifting, meaning they were all in danger now.
  21. Ashlee snapped awake as she heard the door open, her muscles tense til she heard the familiar sigh. Frowning slightly she sat up from her sleeping position of the couch, stuffing the pack of cigarettes in her jacket, and dumping the ashes into an empty pepsi can quickly, she shoved the ash tray under the cushion and stood as Michael limped into the living room. "What happened? I didn't think you were going to be back for another- Your ankle!" She moved swiftly to his side putting her shoulder under his arm and helping him to the couch. "What happened Michael?" "I fell into a sink hole, broke my ankle." "Are you alright?" "Yeah I'm fine." She frowned more as she saw his veins through is skin, the side effects of one of his drugs, they were off color and she sighed heavily as she pulled away a little harsher then she meant." "Did they at least give you the money for working as long as you did." "Yeah, I put it into the investment I keep telling you about." "Oh...ok"  She pinched the bridge of her nose as she moved to the fridge and opened it, scrunching her nose as the smell of sour foods and drinks filled her nostrils. She hadn't even noticed the power had gotten turned off. She'd have to pay that shortly, and then it hit her...her frustration at everything, and slammed the door shut with a loud bang. "Lee, everything alright in there? What's with all the slamming?" She stalked into the living room, furious. "I'll tell you what it's about, it's about the fact that I'm busting my ass day in and day out to pay for rent, and all the bills while we never see a dime of what you make and-" "I told you I'm investing it Ashlee. What more do you want from me?" "To be honest with me dammit! I know where it's actually going! I'm not that stupid. I'm a Secretary Michael which means I know how to handle numbers. And with what your supposed to make, and what you say you invest we should be living in a much better place then this! I know where it's been going this whole time, and I haven't said anything to you about it, I was hoping that you would stop, hoping that if I gave you as much as I could you would stop and give just as much back but I was wrong and I'm tired of it!" "What are you talking about Ash?!" "The drugs Michael! The goddamn drugs!" Michael blinked for a few seconds, having never seen this part of her, and it shocked him to learn that the entire year they had been together, she had known everything. "Why didn't you leave then?" "Because I love you dammit. More then I should, and more then you deserve. I've never gotten anything but heartbreak and trouble from you. And I can't take it any more Michael. I can't keep living like this...paycheck to paycheck...working day and night, sleeping only 3 hours and then doing it all over again...We're so poor and so trashy right now that people who break in won't even steal anything from us..." "What does that mean?" "The flat got broken into last night, nothing is missing... That's what I mean...it's so bad that even the low lifes take pity on us." She shook her head and picked up her jacket. "Where are you going?" "Away. I'm told you. I'm done." "Wait, Ash! Please...I'll- I'll change I swear it! Just...don't go...please...I even got you a late anniversary gift..." Ashlee paused, something told her not to believe or trust him, but her love for him blinded her once again as she huffed out another sigh and turned to look at him. The small ring he had in his hand made her gasp.  "Michael, how did you afford this...you didn't steal it did you?" She narrowed her eyes at him. "Ash...I'm a druggie...not a thief..." She picked it up gently and looked at it before she smiled. "It's beautiful." Lifting her shirt she removed the present navel ring she wore, a simple silver ring with a wolf charm in it, slipping the ruby one Michael had given her into the hole she looked at it for a moment. "It looks good Ash. Do you like it?" "I love it, now, lets get you in bed so you can rest." He nodded and leaned on her as she helped him to his feet and moved him towards the bedroom. Getting him settled into the bed she stood and moved towards her side of the bed frowning as her head swam, the slight dizziness throwing her off for a moment. "You alright Ash?" "Yeah just got dizzy for a sec, that's all." He nodded as she slipped from her clothes, still in her white tank top and a pair of bikini cut underwear, helping him out of his clothes she lay next to him, her fingers tracing small patterns on his chest; she smirked at the boxers he wore, a gift from her; purple. She took a deep breath and felt her stomach lurch slightly. "You alright? You just got really pale." "Uh, yeah...just feeling a little funny I guess." "Okay. I missed you while I was gone." "I missed you too." She smiled as he tilted her chin upwards and slid his lips across her's, she pushed up towards him applying more pressure, making him sigh as he swiped his tongue across her bottom lip. Moaning softly she kissed him back, rolling towards him she straddled him but instantly regretted it as her head swam and her stomach twisted again. "Ash, are you alright? Ash?" His words her muffled, quiet as though she were wearing ear muffs. Opening her eyes she felt her throat tighten as everything seemed to be covered in a red sheen, she could hear her heart beat in her ears, her breathing getting heavy as she bent over him, holding her head. "Ashlee! What's wrong! Ash?! Ash please tal-"   It felt as though she had blacked out, opening her eyes she blinked slowly, her vision still blinded by red, the smell was horrible as well, metallic and thick as she coughed on it. "Michael...I really don't feel well can we take a rain check on the whole making out thing til later?" No answer... "Michael?" She looked around, there was red every where, only it was moving, trickling, dripping, running down the wall in rivets. That's when the smell registered...blood. She had smelt it so many times in the fighting ring, when someone killed their opponets, or when she broke a nose here or there...but she'd never smelt it this strong. "Michael! Answer me!" She moved to roll off the bed when her leg caught something underneath her, looking down she felt the scream bubbling forth, starting in her chest, before catching in her throat, getting trapped and coming out as a whine, before she began to hyperventilate  Michael was there, under her where she remembered him being, only his eyes were trapped open, wide and frightened. His mouth frozen open in a scream of terror. But what made terrified her, what made her finally allow the scream to escape her was the sight of him. His throat and chest were gaping open as if he had been mauled by a wild animal, she could clearly see his ribs, his heart, his spine. His blood was covering everything in sight, and then it hit her...it was even covering her. Her hands were completely covered making it impossible to see her skin tone and she could block out the metallic taste in her mouth. Looking up she caught sight of her self in the mirror and screamed harder. She was covered in his blood, it ran down her chin and chest, her shirt stained, but so was her hair...which was impossible because her hair was black...only it wasn't...it was blonde, almost white in color, and her eyes glinted with a red tint. Grabbing a handful of her hair she felt her screaming getting worse, only to feel something pinch the back of her neck, after that her world went black and she knew no more.
  22. Saph felt groggy as she woke, the pain killers still in her system, choking on her dry tongue as she reached for the glass of water, gulping it down she froze as her stomach screamed at her. The pain almost making her bend over, how long had she been asleep? Looking to her right she saw a white container that almost looked like salvation to her at the moment. Snagging it quickly she smiled at the scrawling on the top. 'Get well soon' Opening the container she dug into it with a gusto, not caring if it was cold or not. Swallowing the last bite thickly she drank the rest of her water before slowly moving to get out of bed. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." She jumped slightly and looked up to see a tall man standing there. His dark brown hair was wavy and hang down into his eyes slightly. "You took a lot of hard hits out there Magus. I need to monitor you for a while longer to make sure there's no lasting damage." "And you are?" "Dr. Havern. You may call me Tom." "Alright Tom, I'm a-" "Doctor as well. I know. And your opinion?" "I'm fine and ready to go back to work." He nodded as he moved towards her, before she knew what was happening he was shining the light in her eyes and looking her over. "Your healing nicely, but your still in need of rest." "How long have I been out?" "A day or so." "And the Barons haven't tried-" "After your friends stunt I doubt they want to try again any time soon." She nodded slowly. "Has anyone-?" "A young man dropped that container of food off. That's about it. I've been keeping an eye on you though so no worries. Saph rolled her eyes. "Oh, joy." "Is that not something that pleases you?" "Oh no, I'm over joyed at the thought of being baby sat." "I'm sorry you feel that way, but it's been no problem watching over a woman as beautiful as you." Saph felt her eyes narrow slightly. "Doc, are you hitting on your patient?" "No, just stating the obvious." Saph felt her hand twitch but suddenly caught sight of Hunter as he peeked in. "Hunter!" Jumping from her bed she pushed Tom aside and gave the man a tight hug. "Honey I'm so happy you came to see me!" The doctor shook his head and seemed to look defeated. "I'll leave you two alone." Saph watched him leave, as the door closed she released Hunter. "Your timing is impeccable." "Uhm...you okay?" "Doctor was trying to get a little to friendly." She sat back down on her bed and smiled up at him. "Thanks for the food by the way. It didn't last long." "Did you even taste it?" Saph laughed and nodded. "Yeah, it wasn't bad. So you gonna fill me in or what? What's been going on? Any sign of the enemy? Are the repairs going well? Are the other guys holding up alright?" "Whoa, whoa, one question at a time there Saph." "Mags." "Huh?" Saph chuckled. "You can call me Mags. It's a little simpler." "I'll stick with Saph. It's what I'm used to." She nodded smiling. "Now to answer your questions-" Saph felt her self relax as she listened to Hunter, imputing her own opinion or another question here and there as Hunter sat on the edge of her bed and continued talking with her.

A woman with many sides, she's somewhat of an enigma. Just her self, no matter what side she's deciding to show at the moment.   Snippet: Ashlee looked around as the other men and women filed out of the office with smiles; most of them talking about their plans for the night. One young man stopped by her desk and leaned on it shifting it slightly. "You doin' anything tonight Lee?" "As a matter of fact I am Leon." "Really? Does it have to do with that druggie boyfriend of yours?" Ashlee ignored him, even though she felt her cheeks heat with anger.  "Actually, I'm doing it right now. I have to cover for every one else like you that are leaving early. Boss wants these papers done and on his desk by morning." Leon shook his head and walked away, another girl sat down next to her. "Did you and Michael get into a fight?" "No. He left." Her answer was tense and she shook her head as she sighed and rubbed her forehead with the tips of her fingers. "Leena, I don't know what to do with him...I have so many jobs just to pull rent and he blows all the money he makes on his drugs. He says he's investing it, and I've done  good job of acting like the clueless girlfriend...but I can't keep living paycheck to paycheck." "So leave him." With that the woman left, Ashlee shook her head, Leena was always blunt and to the point but it was part of her charm.  Ashlee wasn't sure how long it had been since everyone had left her alone, but she sighed as she finished the paperwork and piled it on her desk for pick up. Going to her office locker she pulled out her bag, her keys and her combat boots. Digging through her bag she pulled out a pair of jeans and slipped them on under her work skirt, once they were on she pulled her skirt off and then slipped out of her work jacket showing a white button down underneath. Unbuttoning the first button she put her work clothes in her bag and then slipped out of her heels and into her boots. Reaching back into her locker she pulled out her leather jacket, it was lined with a sweater material and a hood. Zipping it up she grabbed her back and walked out of the office, closing and locking the door she made her way to the parking garage where she found her bike. The metallic blue glinted in the dim light, she dare not tell Michael about this unless he try to sell it, or worse scold her for driving it. She secured her bag onto the back and then slid on and revved the bike to life. Sighing she looked at her watch. She had gotten out sooner then she expected, and decided that it was a good chance to make some extra money. Heading down town she turned into another parking garage that inclined down into the underground. As she slowed down she noticed that it was busy, the noise could be heard over the rev of the engine. Parking she pulled her shades off and looked around before she was almost knocked off her bike. "ASH! Where have you been woman?!" She grabbed onto the body that had collided with her's and chuckled. "I've been working Alex. I'm here now. How's the line up?" "Decent enough I suppose. No one near your level though." "Anyone good in tonight? I need to make some extra money." "No one that I've seen but your so popular there's no doubt you'll make what you need with just one go." She nodded and pulled her self away from Alex and off the bike, making her way trough the crowd she followed Alex til she looked down over a set of railing into an old in ground pool. It was empty of water, and people were crowded around the edges as they looked into the middle. Stains showed on the old concrete flood and walls of the pool, dark and black with age, and seasoned person could tell that it was blood. She narrowed her eyes as two people in the pool clashed. It was one of her least savory pass times; but it put food on the table.  "Whose the beefy one?" "Margo. He's supposedly a champion boxer or something." "Got it, flag me in." "But Ash...you just got back, don't you need to warm up or something?" She wasn't listening as she began to unbutton her shirt, a white tank top showing under it, walking around the pool she raised her hand to the ref whose eyes widened. "We have a flag in! The Wolf has returned!" Ashlee slid down the ladder and walked into the middle of the pool, tapping the toes of her boots on the concrete she took a deep breath as Margo charged at her. Lifting her left leg she kicked out, the heel of her boot connected with his nose. The crack assured her it was broken. As he crumpled to the ground she turned and walked away, collecting her money she slipped her shirt back on and walked out. Nodding to Alex as she left. It was a short ride back to the flat her and Michael were supposed to share and as she neared it, she let out a long string of curses. The door was ajar and she could tell it was forced. "They won't have gotten much. Not like we have a whole hell of a lot thanks to him anyway." Walking in she saw she was right, nothing was missing. Closing the door as best she could she dead bolted it and flopped down on the lumpy couch. Not bothering to take her boots or jacket, or anything off for that matter she took the fresh pack of cigarettes out of her pocket, packed it a few times before opening it. The smell of nicotine making her mouth water slightly as she stuck one between her lips and lite it before taking a long drag off of it. She jumped slightly as her phone vibrated in her pocket. Looking at the time she sighed. "Happy New Years..." Tilting her head back she felt her eyes sting with unshed tears as she thought of Michael.     Sorry for the length. Hope it counts.
  24. Akieen watched out the window as the grey light of morning began to seep through the dark of night, her eyes burned with lack of sleep; but last night was impossible. Her ears picked up the movement out side but she made no movement to leave her spot. The door opened and Darian slipped into her room. His sickly sweet vampire scent filling her room instantly.  "How'd you do last night? Were you comfortable enough?" "Yes, thank you. These rooms are very clever. Do you have were wolf guests often?" "No, but I had a feeling you would be stopping by at some point. I am sorry that your other friends felt as if we were trying to cage them. I was merely trying-" "You have no need to apologize Darian. Many just don't understand. That or just don't listen to what other people have to say. It's very common and happens often." "The young were wolf seems level headed enough though so I did not think-" "Darian, you just said it your self. He's young. Him being young means he acts first and asks later. Level headed or not. I heard the lich was down there with them. And the...Russian? German?" "I'm not sure. But Rose tells me he's a feline." Akieen shuddered. "Of course he is. There hasn't been a were of his kind for decades. So what made him crawl from the primordial ooze? Just to piss me off?" Darian raised an eye brow though he knew she couldn't see it, her back was still to him. "I'm confused Akieen." "I know the bastard understands me, I know he can speak english. He refuses to. Just to piss me off. One of these days I'm not going to be so nice to him goddammit." Darian walked over and handed her the cup of tea he had almost forgotten he had brought with him. The smell was sweet, and musky at the same time. The tea was earthy smelling and the smell alone seemed to calm her some what. "Wolfsbane?" He nodded as she took it, he could see the points of her canines still, see the flecks of violet in her eyes.  "The full moon still holds her wane on you? Even in these early hours?" She nodded slowly, her features calming drastically after the first sip, the root calming her nerves and seeming to make her sleepy. "I should have brought some of this to you last night Akieen, I'm so sorry. I had no idea it had gotten this bad." "Darian, don't fret. It usually isn't, but there are two other were's in my company now and both of which have a slight tendency to rub me the wrong way. Have you seen either of them this morning yet?" "No, none of us has. I assume they are still down there, doing gods know what." Akieen was about to answer when there was a slight knock on her door, turning as it opened slowly she watched as Kayin stuck his head in. "The sun is up." She nodded, not trusting her voice to NOT sound sarcastic. "We'll be leaving soon I take it?" Again she nodded, this time with a small frown. "Why in such a rush." Kayin shook his head no answering her, only slipped from the doorway and walked away. "What's up with him?" Darian shook his head with a slight smile before leaving the room, allowing Akieen to get dressed. It was nearly midday before they seemed to be ready and Kayin seemed just as agitated about this fact as Akieen. She let out a small growl as Mikhail and Baldr came down the stairs, her growl growing as Baldr returned it. Shaking her head she looked around and frowned. "Where the hell is the Lich?" She spun around as Barracus' voice floated down the stairwell. "Oh Charles, you are to right, we must return sometime. The tea was excellent, and oh look, a hoard of adoring followers. Make sure I'm proper Charles I would not want to give them the wrong impression."  She saw him straighten his head and jacket before his expression turned, she shook her head and turned her back on him as he continued to ramble. "-never proper? What is that supposed to mean? I am always a gentlemen. See? I have the top hat to prove it. A top does to indeed mean I am a gentleman! I had said gentlemen at first did I not? Does that mean I am more then one? I do have many sides this is true. Was that a plane?" Akieen blinked a few times but only shook her head, she was never quite sure what to think of the mad man. "Are we finally ready? We were supposed to have left over 3 hours ago!" The other remained quiet and he could smell the drink on a few of them. "Great, wonderful. We're supposed to be saving the world and some of us are drunk. How nice." "Akieen, I gave them drink. I thought-" "It doesn't matter now, we need to move, at this rate we won't get there til tonight and the full moon hasn't quite ended yet Dark. Enough talk, just move!" With that they left the warehouse, emerging into the icy cold winter winds of New York, Akieen pulled her jacket closer to her and pulled the hat over her ears. She looked over to see many of the others doing the same, all but Kayin. He alone seemed unfazed by the cold, in fact he seemed to be enjoying it. "I thought you hated the cold." "You assumed I did. I in fact quite love it." "But in Canada-" "You dropped me into an ice rink Akieen. I enjoy the cold, I do not enjoy freezing water. There is a difference. Where as you on the other hand seem to hate this weather." She shivered, even though she knew she had at least 3 layers of clothing on. "Y-yeah. I can't stand the cold." "Werewolf tempatures?" "Nope. Just don't like it. Never did." She said nothing else, only moved them forward, the tall buildings creating wind tunnels that made it seem even more cold then it really was and the further they seemed to move into the city the more something felt wrong, but she ignored it for the time being and continued to move them on through the streets. As they reached the bridge to take them to Manhattan island was when she noticed it, the hair on the back on her neck standing on end, the feeling of dread lumping in her stomach. The high pitched laugh that sounded from the top of the bridge made her growl as she threw her jacket off and readied her self.  "I thought the city was to quiet." The woman sat on top of one of the steel beams, a nail file moving back and forth sharpening her nails, her supple legs crossed, her straight black hair was glossy and lay flat between a set of leather black wings which were folded against her back. Akieen slightly wondered how this woman was even still moving with what little clothing she wore and then it hit her. "Succubus."  She felt Kayin stiffen next to her, the smell of sulfur coming off of him slightly. "My my, the Lord did say you were a mixed band of creatures. How right he was, but so many handsome men! My my!" Her voice was like nails on a chalkboard to Akieen though the men, all but Barracus and Kayin, seemed to enjoy it. Their eyes drooping slightly as she spoke. "My word! Charles! She's practically naken, quickly draw a picture!" Akieen held in her urge to facepalm. the succubus began to speak again, this time gaining all their attention as a young man seemed to crawl from the steel beam behind her and into her lap. Her voice was clear this time, her spell no longer directed at them. "Humans...Do humans have a purpose when they're born? I have been wondering recently. Because they are born, do they have an important duty? The meaning of being born...For humans to find that answer, is the one freedom their god gave them. Blood calls for blood, while hatred begets hatred, and the energy that comes forth begins to take root in the earth and engrave a crest of blood. They never learn, no matter how many times history is repeated. Humans are foolish, sorrowful creatures. Humans are oh so silly." With this being said, she seemed to kiss the man on his neck, only, his skin drew taunt, and began to turn yellow, he shriveled into dust before their eyes and seemed to be carried off by the wind. She wiped her mouth as if cleaning it after a meal and stood, her frame seemed more youthful, her skin softer and paler, her red eyes glowing as she looked them over.  "My my, how the Lord wishes to meet with one of you so dearly. I would so love to stay and chat but Lord wishes a task from me. My my, it should be great fun. Ta ta!" With that, her wings wrapped around her as the wind blew hard, and she was gone. Akieen shook her head as the others looked around. "What the hell was that all about?" Kayin shook his head. "My only guess is she's working for Rasputin." Akieen nodded and slowly began to lead them across the bridge. Abandoned cars littered the streets, the smell of blood came now with every breath on the wind. "They must have cornered all of them on the island...like cattle..." Dark grit his teeth as he nodded. "Your most likely right. But what of-" "Sanctuary is still there. I don't see Alistair going down so easily. But we need to move fast, it's already going into the evening." The others followed her along the streets, through the barren city until Akieen looked up at an old run down looking building. "This is it...I think." She frowned as the door opened and a young man stepped out, his hair was pale blonde, nearly white and his golden eyes locked onto her. "Akieen? AKI! You made it! Oh I'm so happy to see-" His words died as his face met her palm, his arms out stretched and ready to envelope her in a bone crushing hug.  "Save it you lech. Why not tell us what happened?" "What happened? Oh! Right the city was corned here on the island and then just poof, gone." Mikhail frowned. "And you did nothing?" Alistair's face grew serious as he looked back at the male were wolf. "I'm one fallen angle in one of the largest cities in the US kid, I can only do as much as my father allows me to do." "The he should have-" "We can only do so much before things are thrown out of balance." Akieen shook her head. "They already are though, don't you think?" Alistair nodded, his face grim. "I do, but it's not my place to do more. It's his." She nodded and looked back at the others, noticing that Kayin still looked tense. "What's the matter Kayin?" "Nothing. Just something doesn't feel right about this place." Alistair nodded again. "There's been a demon roaming around here for the past day or so. Beautiful lady though, oh how lovely she is. But! No time, now we need to get you all inside and-" His words were cut short as the building behind him suddenly exploded, raining rubble and dust down on them, the high pitched laugh that echoed around them made Akieen tense. "Now where will you go? Where will you go? My my, your sanctuary is no more, where to now I wonder?" The Succubus sat down on the edge of the building to their right, her white teeth gleaming against her black lipstick as her wings folded around her shoulders.  "My my, no where to be safe from the last of the full moon's rays. What now, where to go?" Akieen clenched her teeth. "Why not come down here and let me get my hands on you, you slut?" "My my, such language. I actually know your still safe. I know where your sanctuary lies. Under the streets of the island. I know what lies there. Do you? Do you know of the ashes said to consume any who walk among them? Do you know of the danger? Or the death that awaits you?" Akieen felt her stomach clench painfully. "Oh god...their driving us to the tunnels." With one high pitched laugh the Succubus was gone, Alistair's face now pale. "We don't have a choice. It's the only place you'll be safe for tonight." She nodded and looked around Alistair as Kayin walked towards the building, and helped a young women from the debris, brushing it off her shoulders and checking her over in a frantic matter. Two more people emerged from the rubble, a vampire by the smell of him and a woman that he seemed to be helping to her feet. Alistair nodded. "They've been waiting for you for 3 days now." Akieen pinched the bridge of her nose. "Let's get underground where we can talk. You have another way in?" "The northern tunnel access. It's about a twenty minute walk or so. Shouldn't take to long, once we're in it'll only be a five minute walk to the club." They all nodded and began to follow Alistair, Akieen's eyes shifting to Kayin as him and young woman began to talk. Dark's voice uninterrupted her thoughts.  "Green is not your color friend." Huffing she made her self look forward, her glare set on the back of Dark's head. She could hear Barracus in the back. "I say, are we going through the sewers? But I just had this suite tailored. I do say this seems rather disgusting. Is anyone listening. Charles, do something about this! Not shine my shoes, oh good lord, you left the kettle on and now the mansion is on fire, put it out man!" She tuned him out as her feet moved.
